my mo no. is [protected] , my name is rohit srivastava , i am having a problem from my sop airtel due unwanted services activation and also my balance dedection.this month this was a second time i was cheated.first time i was charged 35 for auto massage pack activation,this time i was totally shocked becouse during the net surfing i got a message thanks for subscription of video pack and you been charged @99for this one .i jut want to deactivate any service from my mobile i my mony back.

    Dear Sir,

    This is regarding the poor service given to me by Airtel DTH over the last 2 months. I have been constantly facing problems of DTH connectivity at my home. It started on 28th july when i first faced the problem when there was no proper DTH connection. The engineer came after 3 days of regular complaint and he charged me Rs.100 as visiting charges and an extra Ra.100 for changing the bottom rod of the Dish antennae at the terrace. And it was assured to me that i wont face this problem again.

    But just within 10 days the problem occurred again and again i had to call the engineer again. This time a new enginner came and he stated that the problem is due to the location of the dish antennae. With the current location it doesn't gets proper connectivity and its better to change the location. so taking his advice i told him to go ahead. He said there will be additional charges of somewhere around rs. 600-700. I was aghast to hear that and said that I am not liable for it as the location was decided by your engineer and not suggested by me. I had infact paid around 700 rs in the month of jan for the setting up of dish cable. Post that i got a call from some senior manager from airtel and he also stated the same thing. I still said i wont pay. Then he stated that they will try to give some solution and i shouldn't face any problem further.

    Now again for the last 3-4 days i have been facing the same problems. And their engineers are again saying that its due to the wrong location of the dish antennae. Fed up with all this i told Airtel executives that i need to cancel the DTH service and i need my money refunded as my I have made an annual payment till april 2013. He said that it cant be done as i am a Advance customer and my monies has been used. I cant get this logic, when i have not used the service till april 2013 why cant i get my money refunded. I am cancelling the connection also due to pathetic service given by the Airtel DTH team and there exists no fault of mine.

      We Jakson & Company have issued Ch. No.256150 dt.09.08.2012 for Rs.14415 favouring Bharti Airtel Ltd. A/c Mobile Services & dropped the cheque in Airtel drop box at Mayapuri against dues for 13 corporate conections along with a annexure of 13 numbers & respective bill amount. The due date of payment was 11 & 12.08.2012. The above cheque was cleared from our bank on 13.08.2012. We started receiving calls from Airtel abount non payment for 12 nos. from 13-14. We came to know from the Airtel customer care that the above amount has been credited to 1st number of our annexure & adviced to register complaint through mail to nodal office along with a copy of 13 numbers, copy of bank statement. On 17.08.2012 we registered our compalin & assured from the nodal office that it will be solved within 48 hrs. After then we are receiving 2-3 calls per number per day even sunday & holiday & till date the problem is unsolved.


      We hereby request to please help us to solve the problem or direct Airtel to close all our connections with immediate effect.

        Dear Sir,
        On 4th July 2012 I had lodged my complaint for disconnection of my Airtel Landline number[protected]. My reference number for disconnection[protected]. I had a talk with Mr. Syed Mehtaab Hussain and he assured me that the disconnection will take place within 7 days and no further formalities will be required. HE even said that that bill will be generated proportionately.

        Even after that I got a bill for the whole month. I paid the bill amount of Rs. 632 through cheque no.073528 drawn on INDIAN BANK, C.R. AVENUE BRANCH, KOLKATA. The matter should have been closed here.

        But again a bill was raised for the month of July-August without even notifying me that the landline is still working. The reason which they stated is that someone called Mr Abhishek from Airtel had called me up to confirm and since I didnt pick up the call my request for cancellation of the landline number itself was cancelled.
        Now this was really a very silly reason because I was never given this kind of clause that I will recieve a call from Airtel and if I dont recieve and confim it my request for cancellation will be cancelled. Further I rarely pick up calls from an unknown number. If this was the case then they should have sent me an email regarding the same.

        After several emails and requests Mr Ramesh Shaw from Airtel accepted on 3/9/2012 that its fault on their part and they will resolve the matter in 7 days and I woudnt have to pay anything.
        Its already 10 days since then and again I am getting calls from Airtel asking me why am I not using the landline? I told them the matter and they are saying that the landline is not yet disconnected.
        Airtel is trying to loot money out of normal public. Please look into the matter deeply and stop this harrassment!.

          Airtel — auto subscribing

          I have been subscribed for IPL live cricket scores and airtel live TV at an amount of Rs 40 without any subscribing request from me. Later on after calling to airtel customer care,I was unsubscribed for the above subscriptions and promised this wouldn't repeat.After a month I was again subscribed to airtel live TV for Rs150, I didn't even get proper response on callimg to customer care regarding refunding.

            airtel GPRS CARD — Not received the setting of GPRS CARD

            My mobile number is [protected]. I have activated my GPRS {mo} CARD on 27/8/2008 in the morning . After that I have not received my internet settings . For that I have registered many times complaint in the customer care services No. 121. But still now also I have not received the settings . My GPRS Card Serial No. -[protected]. Please do help me

            Airtel GPRS — Cannot Receive GPRS SETTINGS

            I have been using my sim card on a G-FIVE mobile...
            Rescently I changed my sim to a new phone --nokia 5300 Xpressmusic which SUPPORTS GPRS...
            When I called 121 for GPRS SETTINGS, I gets the message that my Phone does not support GPRS...
            I have activated gprs in my mobile fron 121.
            When I try to access Internet using Personal configuration settigs; I gets the message "Subscribe to packet data first"
            I want this problem solved IMMEDIATELY and PLEASE SEND GPRS SETTINGS TO MY MOBILE..



            I TRIED TO CONTACT AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE AND I COULD NOT REACH THEM ...
            WHEN I CALL 121 OR [protected] THE COMPUTER SAYS THAT MY CALL IS BEING FORWARDED TO CUSTOMERCARE EXECUTIVE AND THEN THE CALL IS DISCONNECTED................

                Airtel applies a policy of "CUSTOMER DO NOT CARE". My number is [protected]. From the past 10 days i am facing network coverage issues. Till now, I have lodged 3 complaints. All of them are either cancelled or resolved. Till now, I have not even got a single call from the support team on this. And every time just to keep up with the TAT they are either closing or putting it as resolved. It sucks big time. I have not been able to make any calls or even answer any call. And I always make my bill payments within the due date. I am a customer for more than 8 years. We currently have more than 5 airtel numbers. All these years, Airtel support was the best. Now it has go to the worst. They just dont care about what even you are saying. Am planning to apply for number portability for all these 5 numbers.

                    I'm Tejo LN Varma Kurra. I'm using the prepaid services of airtel AndhraPradesh with the number [protected]. On 13th Sep 2012, I have subscribed for 3600 minutes of 3G data on my mobile number given above with 125 rupees charge. Instead of 3g data, they gave me 2g data. Even I called the customer care, they are not resolving my problem and in the middle of the call only, they were cut off the line with charging 50 ps per every 3 minutes. I want to place a complaint against this. Please find a solution. I'm having the messages they send me, before I was activated the service. With those messages reference only I have subscribed the 3G data pack.

                        This is to bring to your notice that there has been a due of Rs .1500 on the above mentioned landline number ,i have closed the account & telephone connection , to my horror there is a due of Rs .1500 which i dont know how it can be ,neither have i received the bill & the payment has been cleared without details , i am sorry to say an advocate calls me & threatens with dire consequences that the legal department is going to file a case , i need to make payment by 20 minutes , how do you expect me to do so without any information , airtel is playing serious games , i beg to differ that an advocate by name pandey & motilal desai keeps on troubling me with calls , please take this issue as this is serious concern .

                          I have been having a very bad experience with my Airtel Prepaid Number [protected].... Airtel has been deducting INR 3.00/- everyday from my prepaid number under VAS.SubContest... When tried to stop the service using *121# or even calling 121, I get a message that i don't have any VAS services activated on my number... Attached are the screenshot of messages from Airtel.

                          Can i get a prompt response on this as this is the height of cheating!!!!! I have never enabled any VAS service on my mobile... It looks like after Airtel had recharged my account with a free balance from account 40150015 and now they are just deducting all the amount using this bad practice...

                          I want someone to take a look into this ASAP and refund the amount deducted...

                            I have a prepaid number of Airtel since last one year. During last 15 days, Airtel subscribed me to news and some other trash services on its own (no permission sought from me) and automatically deducted money from my account without my consent.

                            Within days, more than Rs 100 disappeared from my prepaid account without making any calls, sms. I complained online using Airtel.in online form but they have not even bothered to call me for last 5 days.

                            This is highly unethical business practice. I guess Airtel believes that it can fleece its prepaid customers this way but I won't let that happen to me. If my complaint does not get resolved in 3 days even now, I shall apply to consumer forum for punitive damages.

                              I have Airtel DTH at my home and since last few weeks many TV channels stopped coming to my TV and day by day count of such channels is increasing.

                              I have called customer care, customer care representative told me that your dish needs alignment and we will send our engineer tomorrow.
                              But nobody came.

                              I called Airtel DTH customer care again after few days and they again told me that they will send engineer at my home.
                              But nobody came and its more than a week.

                              I have also filed following complaint at their Grievances portal but after 2-3 days when i checked the status of reference number provided to me i found its assigned to somebody else.

                              Here is the complaint i filed gain today at airtel dth Grievances portal:

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              This is regarding many channels not coming to my TV due to dish alignment required.

                              I have called your customer care multiple times and they have given us date on which your engineer will be visiting our house for dish alignment.

                              But no one came till date, its more than a month we are unable to see many TV channels and daily few more channels are getting removed(we are unable to view them).

                              I request you to take immediate action otherwise i am forced to move to some other service provider.

                              My account validity is expiring on 15th Sep and want this issue to be resolved before that.

                              I hope we will continue with a happy service provider- consumer relationship.

                              I have already filed a compliant 3 days back and found following response:

                                I have been a loyal customer to Airtel for over a decade with no issues till date.

                                I had also starting using broadband and landline services for the last few years in Mumbai (my landline airtel number : [protected]). I have had good customer relations with airtel until a few months ago.

                                On 18 May 2012, I have relocated to Goa & my home in Mumbai has been closed from that date (no occupancy currently).

                                I had already submitted my landline airtel number : [protected]_mh on 16 May 2012 for cancellation. Service request # 15849968. 2 days later I had called to confirm that the request is being attended to. I had also got a message that all incoming will be stopped in 7 days & then within 3 weeks once approved it will be closed.

                                All old outstanding had also been cleared immediately after that approx. Rs. 2500+. Now I'm in receipt of monthly bills for the period 26 May 2012 to 25 Jun 2012 & then again from 26 Jun to 25 July 2012 amouting to Rs. 2075. How is this possible? Also I have got numerous calls from airtel where I have informed of above situation each time but still demanding payment. This has been extremely stressful.

                                Also there are DSL charges of Rs. 85 mentioned in the bill. This seems fraudulent considering the house is closed from 18 May 2012 & assuming that airtel was clearly told to close the line.

                                Can you please tell me why I should pay these bills when I had done my due diligence of intimating cancellation & also checking for the same a couple of days later. This is negligence from Airtel not to discontinue my line in adequate time & now they are calling me everytime & stressing me out to explain the same issue each time.

                                I have also sent emails earlier in addition to calls to [protected]@airtel.in, [protected]@in.airtel.com, nodal.[protected]@airtel.in,. But no one responds other than sending bills & quoting payment requests.

                                Airtel Brs Nagar Ludhiana ppl are Fraud. Give complaint in police against them. Writing here will not help much .

                                  this is to bring to notice compliant against airtel for my 3g data card that is not working and the complaint for the same was made on 6th sept and was confirmed to be resolved by 10th of sept..But airtel customer service response is so pathetic and no one bothers to really address the complaint and solve the problem..

                                  It been more than 10 days and the problem i still there with no effort from the customer care to solve it..The problem is of network not available and the data card is for my office purpose which has got halted and am suffering so much on my work front..

                                  Airtel customer service is so pathetic and third class that if you have a complaint ,rest assure that y-they will one only give you new TAT's ( which has no meaning) , no clue on the problem and no effort to solve it..

                                  Wish they could compensate on my work loss each day but you only can wait for them to respond on their own sweet will..

                                  Pls provide me some solution..

                                    This is Hari my mobile no# [protected] and it is AirTel Prepaid connection. 58+rupes deducted from my balance without usage and information on September 14, 2012.
                                    On Sept 13th evening my balance was 119.31 rupees, and on Sept 14th 8 am I got an sms saying
                                    You don't have enough balance to activate 2G GPRS pack of 98 rupee for 30 days.
                                    The amount what I had by that time is: 68+ rupees.

                                      The airtel customer service was very bad yesterday (13/09/2012) by 6.30 pm. I spoke to a person called Ahmed. He was rude at me, he dint provide the correct information and was not doing his job, I asked him for nearby airtel office, he held for few seconds and asked me to call back after sometime. So he was least bothered, I asked for manager or any complaint department, he said there is no one of that sort. I told him I am gonna register complaint, he asked me to go ahead. That's the reason of the complaint, indeed he was least bothered. Please register a complain and do the needful.
