Have 2 issues with Airtel
1. They don't have customer care number or email ID any where on their website or the bills, especially to call from non-airtel phones
-- By some how when i got the number and called, i pressed for my mother tongue Kannada, very sad to here a very cartoonish and automated voice response and dialect, felt more like insulting my mother tongue, why they could not record in standard Kannada dialect
2. I paid my bill at a airtel counter, but the guy had entered a wrong account/phone number, hence i immediately asked him to correct, which he said will do in day or 2 but after bill due date was over also, i started getting the phone calls hence i had to register a complain about the incorrect payment and correction not done issue, i gave the bill number every thing the airtel customer care person asked
even after 2 weeks of that i was getting daily minimum 3 calls about payment, i kept patience and told them the issue every time they call, they not use to have any record of last interaction & response with me
But after 1 month, they disconnected, and that is when i discovered no where i have a phone number of them to call from other than airtel, whose connection they had removed and i not had any way to call them and put my case forward
after a 1 month and 1 week a goon come about the payment and threatens, that too for a petty 1800 Rs.
I told him to get last from my house and hoped on to file a consumer forum case on Airtel
I want to sue them for the mental torture i have been receiving from their end

I have an Airtel no. [protected] which i have been using for more than a year as a post paid service after which i changed it to prepaid service and then I did not use my Sim card as I was abroad then. I tried inserting the Sim after i got back and found that it is not working.I tried contacting your customer service twice at your Anna Nagar Showroom but they said that they will check this matter out and reactivate my service but they have not done it till date. Could you please look into this matter ASAP as This has been my only mobile for the past three years. I am sure there is more than 800 Rs in it and Validity was till 2012. i request you to please handle this as a priority and please reactivate my Sim card.
