Hi,

This is to notify you that I took a postpaid mobile corporate connection with AIRTEL. Services went on working perfectly fine. I made a partial payment against my bill of 400RS through my NET BANKING SERVICE. Money got deducted from my account but after a week. I received a message from AIRTEL that payment was declined & they asked me to contact my bank. HDFC raised a complaint on ref DELC[protected] & later on HDFC confirmed that payment has been successfully credited to AIRTEL. Thereafter I did not had any conversation with AIRTEL. I made another another partial payment towards airtel, which was for 250.00. In total a payment of 650.00 was made against my AIRTEL account.

I left delhi on 05/09 to lucknow in a remote village, airtel services were working fine but later on it got suspended. I made 12-15 call to customer services but airtel rep were simply disconnecting my calls. It was bad day i thought & my bad decision to take airtel. I am happy with VODAFONE since last 10yrs but took airtel just couple of months back and got into trouble.

I should say that services were pathetic. I wasted my days in chasing payment & to remove barring from my services as partial payment was made. According to my credit limit they should not stop my service.

Which they did & I didn't liked it. I made a decision that wont use airtel anymore.

I am disputing the rest of the bill against the inconvenience caused while chasing payment, left with no service in a remote area. Where mobile was only way of making emergency call. This was a bad impression left by AIRTEL. I was in middle of no where without any service on AIRTEL though usage was far below my credit limit.

I want to terminate my AIRTEL account without any payments due to appalling services.

    Bharti Airtel — Unexpected charges

    Hello All,

    Do you think that the data charge increased by Airtel is fair at the rate of 30p/20KB which is around Rs. 15/MB. Is TRAI looking at Airtel at all. They are irritating their customers day by day.
    Why the common man should suffer.
    Please look at it its not 3G data its 2G data which is 1000 times slow than 3G speeds.

    I am complaining on behalf of whole India wherever this tarrif has to be implemented from 5th january.

      Hi,

      I had applied for a new Internet broadband connection in the month of July,2012,then I got a call from guy who introduced himself as Airtel
      executive,S.Rajesh(Contact Number:[protected]).

      He came and collected the money and the documents and gave me the receipt(Application Number:515743) and also informed me like I'll have
      the new connection in 4 working days.

      Till now,I never got a call from AIrtel.On further communication with Airtel I came to know that this application was never submitted.I
      tried to call that person but he never picked up my call.

      I raised several complain related to this to Airtel in last two month,every time I raise a request Airtel simply closes the complain without informing me.

      Please do the needful for the refund of my money(1300Rs).

      Airtel Broadband Connection — not refunding the money on time

      I have applied for the airtel broadband connection through airtel's marketing boy.. He took documents from me and said that this are sufficent for address proof and taken 2000/- Rs. in advance of the scheme i selected...
      Then they said that as per the company policy these documents are not sufficent and you need more documents.. On this i said that "i don't wont the connection and give my money back"...Then they said that " We are keen giving you the connection for this you have to do little more effort"
      The effort was to change my address and make a fake address on the stamp paper and submit to them...
      But i was on my word saing that i wont my money back...
      Then they told me " ok then we have put your form in cancellation list and u will get money within 45 days through check"...
      After 35 days mean on today when i called them then they said that we havent put your form in cancellation... so now we are putting it and you will get check within 30 days...they are giving me days after days...What to do please help!!!

      My caf.no. is 2340445 I hav Paid whole amt of 2752rs of student plan 499rs monthly to Airtel Dhar Telecom Indore. 2 month Ago, due to some technicle reason they cancelled my connection.
      Till now my money is not Refunded.
      So plz Refund my money as soon as possible...

                Dear Sir

                I am writing on behalf of my father Mr Guninder Singh Chandok. We are residing in Bangalore and my father has been with your company airtel from the past 10 years plus. We have three post paid and one pre paid connection currently. The Mobile numbers are [protected], [protected], [protected] and [protected].

                We have been facing indoor network issues from the last 3 years. We complain and the issue was resolved only partly however from the last 8 to 10 months condition has turned from bad to worse. We have made many complains and instead of things improving , things have turned worse. We cannot receive or make calls inside my house and we have to stand outside at the front gate or worse on the road. Mobile phone is suppose to be mobile and we cannot use in our house.We cannot make or receive calls or sms at all inside my house. I get cab facility from my office and I have missed my cab several times as they could reach me on my mobile and have spend Rs.200 to reach office thanks to your bad network coverage. My complains have been closed without our consent stating it is resolved and we have been told to wait for 90 days for it to be resolved.

                Surprisingly Idea mobile coverage is reaching inside my house without any problems.Today I was told that I can move to another provider. What does airtel want us to do for 90 days? why was it not resolved before? Who will compensate for inconvenience caused?

                Why Idea is working and not yours ? We have been paying rental charges and getting the worse service. When we try to speak to your customer services due to poor connectivity Call gets dropped and they do not have the courtesy to call back. I called today 4 times and call gets dropped every time when I told them at the start of the call that I am standing on the middle of the road and explained the network situation as well as asked to call back if call drops. No call backs. I was placed on hold for a long time and call dropped with connection error message.I have spent hours on the mobile to complain as your customer services team takes hours registering and answering my queries.Every time call drops I have to call again and repeat my complain which is very frustrating. We pay our bills on time and good amount of money for this bad service and connectivity. Your technical people came to our house 3 times and said they would resolve it in 3 days every time after which we get a call that it would take 90 days to resolve it. Why 90 days ?

                Airtel is supposed to be the number one company in India as per your customer services team thus your company made it clear in the last 3 conversations that you are not willing to resolve our query sooner and as per today's conversation that you want us to leave your company.

                I had landline services with you which was [protected] I have placed an request for cancellation today as I received poor service I paid a lot for broadband and there was no value for money. I received a good offer from any other company who offered better speed and download capacity. There is value for money. I called your landline team told them about the offer where I am paying less and getting more. I was with you for more than 5 years and everything you have only increased the prices for the plan I was under but never improved the services for affordable prices. My landline will no longer be with you from 27th September. Now we have no other choice to move our mobile numbers to another company as your company cannot gave a quick solution and want us to leave. Our patience and loyalty for your company has run out.

                Please look into this for us and let us know your decision as soon as possible. Are you ready to lose loyal customers ?

                I am a subsciber of Airtel connection and my Mobile No is [protected]. I am staying in Railway Officers colony ay Punch Kuiyan Road in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The network connection is very poor in this location and it is becoming impossible to communicate properly and complete the call.
                Can something be done in this regard. I shall be waiting for the response.

                Airtel — Extremely poor connectivity

                I am suscriber of Airtel since last 3-4 years & my cell no. is[protected]. It is extremely worst coverage that is provided by Airtel & I truly disgusted with the service.

                Airtel Mobile Services — Connectivity and call drop

                We live in Vaishali, Ghaziabad and all o[censored]s have a common complaint of being unable to recieve/ make a call through at one go - network connectivity is damn poor and erratic.

                If by chance, if the call goes through, it disconnects within few seconds.

                My suggestion that Airtel improves and boosts its network in Vaishali region.

                If this does not improve, I am sure many like me will have no option but to change the service provider.

                Airtel mobile connection — Poor connectivity

                I stay in the ORR area (Iblur) and have complained atleast 10 times over the poor connectivity in my apartment. All the time, we get signals from various towers - ranging from Koramangala to even MG Road (as shown on the display of my phone). Signal is extremely poor and the line drops frequently - I cannot speak for more than 2 minutes without the line dropping - even from the balcony.
                All these people do is promise to rectify it within 2 days and then nothing happens. My average billing is in the region of Rs. 10, 000 per month and yet these people do not seem to care.
                I intend to change to another service provider.
                We are one of the leading constructors in Mogappair area. Office is located on the main junction . All business development activities are being dropped due to Bad signal. For this business it is more important for us to have proper communication through out the project. Many times it has be complained but no action is being taken over towards the complaint. Please make out the possible action regarding signal .

                Almost from 2-3 months we are noticing that the airtel connectivity in Bangalore has become worst. For calling up other networks other than landlines we have to keep on trying and the regular answer will be connection error and even if gets connected there is every chance of voice breaking, one way speech or call loss. Repeated complaints has not improved the situation. Can something be done in this regard
                Dear Sir,

                I can receive a call but conversation is not possible due to not transferring of the voice to each other.

                This is prabhu a Business Man from Pondicherry i am having 8 Airtel connections, BroadBand and a land line my personal Mobile no is [protected] and i am having another no [protected] this no sim card was rejected by wrong Puk code we have already complaines and as perthe advice we have bought a Duplicate sim card on 05.02.09 at 7.00 pm at M/S Arun agencies Mission Street Pondicherry where in they have told us that the card will be atctvated by 06.02.09 7.00 Pm only but your coustemer care peoples told me that you card will be activated with in 2 Hours yet there is no result i am loosing my business because of the above matter why i should not go for a clime againsrt your activity and why i should not cancell all my Airtel Connection and go for a new Company who can serve me in time let me know what you are going to do awaitng for reply

                at bhatinda cantt the signal of airtel is very week, inside the house there is hardly any signal..so nobody can call us..to make a call we have to come out of the house.please improve your communication.the closest airtel towers are at bharat nagar bhatinda ,punjab (i.e. 4km away),other one is at bhucho,bhatinda(i.e 5 km away).request do something fast.

                If you are living in the area of Road No 70. Jubilee Hills, I would not recommend to take Airtel. As the signals in this area are really bad.

                After repeated complaints I get a call saying that "the signals are good on the road", which was really a surprise for me, as they expected me to take call on the road and not in the house. Where as Idea and reliance work from the same locations.

                If they cannot troubleshoot the problem in the heart of the city, I am not sure how they would handle the situation in other parts.

                This is just to share my experience and avoid the pain.

                I called today and was told that my complaint was closed again by the network team as resolved even though it has not been resolved stating it would take 90 days again to resolve my query. Your company failed to answer the following questions

                What does airtel want us to do for 90 days?
                Why was it not resolved before?
                Who will compensate for inconvenience caused?
                Why my complains have been closed without our consent stating it is resolved and we have been told to wait for 90 days for it to be resolved.
                Why Idea is working and not yours ?
                Are you ready to lose loyal customers ?

                Your company did not have the courtesy to call us and inform us that the case was closed.

                My question was not about why it is taking time to cancel my phone number nor there was any question about the landline as I have already moved to another provider.(Even though your people have not come to remove their equipment and wires from my property as yet when I call yesterday I was told it takes 5 days This was expected as usual) The question was why is your company treating us badly.

                We cannot wait for 90 days and will be forced to move to another company soon. Please do expect to lose another 15 connections as my neighbors who are facing similar problems which are less painful than us will also be moving to Idea soon.

                I am writing on behalf of my father Mr Guninder Singh Chandok. We are residing
                in Bangalore and my father has been with your company airtel from the past 10
                years plus. We have three post paid and one pre paid connection currently. The

                We have been facing indoor network issues from the last 3 years. We complain
                and the issue was resolved only partly however from the last 8 to 10 months
                condition has turned from bad to worse. We have made many complains and instead
                of things improving, things have turned worse. We cannot receive or make calls
                inside my house and we have to stand outside at the front gate or worse on the
                road. Mobile phone is suppose to be mobile and we cannot use in our house.We
                cannot make or receive calls or sms at all inside my house. I get cab facility
                from my office and I have missed my cab several times as they could reach me on
                my mobile and have spend Rs.200 to reach office thanks to your bad network
                coverage. My complains have been closed without our consent stating it is
                resolved and we have been told to wait for 90 days for it to be resolved.

                Surprisingly Idea mobile coverage is reaching inside my house without any
                problems.Today I was told that I can move to another provider. What does airtel
                want us to do for 90 days? why was it not resolved before? Who will compensate
                for inconvenience caused?

                Why Idea is working and not yours ? We have been paying rental charges and
                getting the worse service. When we try to speak to your customer services due
                to poor connectivity Call gets dropped and they do not have the courtesy to
                call back. I called today 4 times and call gets dropped every time when I told
                them at the start of the call that I am standing on the middle of the road and
                explained the network situation as well as asked to call back if call drops. No
                call backs. I was placed on hold for a long time and call dropped with
                connection error message.I have spent hours on the mobile to complain as your
                customer services team takes hours registering and answering my queries.Every
                time call drops I have to call again and repeat my complain which is very
                frustrating. We pay our bills on time and good amount of money for this bad
                service and connectivity. Your technical people came to our house 3 times and
                said they would resolve it in 3 days every time after which we get a call that
                it would take 90 days to resolve it. Why 90 days ?

                Airtel is supposed to be the number one company in India as per your customer
                services team thus your company made it clear in the last 3 conversations that
                you are not willing to resolve our query sooner and as per today's conversation
                that you want us to leave your company.

                I had landline services with you which was [protected] I have placed an request
                for cancellation today as I received poor service I paid a lot for broadband
                and there was no value for money. I received a good offer from any other
                company who offered better speed and download capacity. There is value for
                money. I called your landline team told them about the offer where I am paying
                less and getting more. I was with you for more than 5 years and everything you
                have only increased the prices for the plan I was under but never improved the
                services for affordable prices. My landline will no longer be with you from
                27th September. Now we have no other choice to move our mobile numbers to
                another company as your company cannot gave a quick solution and want us to

                This is exactly what happened to me. I am experiencing connection drops and it has been worst for last 5-6 months. I complained and they told me that they need 90 days to resolve the issue, the reason cited is they need to build a new tower in my area which is inside Bangalore city limits. I waited and when I called after 60-70 days I came to know that they had closed the case that time itself (before 2 months) stating that it is an indoor issue and resolving as per customer acceptance. What an unethical way of doing business! I have 4 mobile connections and one broadband connection and has been a loyal customer for past 7 years. I wanted to keep the numbers and hence waited till now. There is a limit, I can't wait anymore as they are looting my money without providing basic service. Goodbye Airtel.

                    Have 2 issues with Airtel

                    1. They don't have customer care number or email ID any where on their website or the bills, especially to call from non-airtel phones
                    -- By some how when i got the number and called, i pressed for my mother tongue Kannada, very sad to here a very cartoonish and automated voice response and dialect, felt more like insulting my mother tongue, why they could not record in standard Kannada dialect

                    2. I paid my bill at a airtel counter, but the guy had entered a wrong account/phone number, hence i immediately asked him to correct, which he said will do in day or 2 but after bill due date was over also, i started getting the phone calls hence i had to register a complain about the incorrect payment and correction not done issue, i gave the bill number every thing the airtel customer care person asked

                    even after 2 weeks of that i was getting daily minimum 3 calls about payment, i kept patience and told them the issue every time they call, they not use to have any record of last interaction & response with me

                    But after 1 month, they disconnected, and that is when i discovered no where i have a phone number of them to call from other than airtel, whose connection they had removed and i not had any way to call them and put my case forward

                    after a 1 month and 1 week a goon come about the payment and threatens, that too for a petty 1800 Rs.

                    I told him to get last from my house and hoped on to file a consumer forum case on Airtel

                    I want to sue them for the mental torture i have been receiving from their end

                          I had applied for airtel broadband connect and within a few hours, the sales person took Rs. 500 (contact no : [protected]) on Aug 11th and told be the connection would get installed within 2 days. I kept on calling this person for more than 2 weeks but failed to get any reason for not getting the connection installed. Finally the installation team came on Aug 23rd. Again a new surprise, they were offering me an old modem and charging complete amount. I refused and told them that I need a brand new equipment if I am paying for a new one. I again kept on calling to know the status. The new person finally came and did some installation testing. At the very initial stage when I was offering Rs. 500/- to the sales person, I had asked for 1 bill for installation for my accounts purpose that could include everything installation, modem etc. Not once but a dozen times the sales person confirmed that it would not be an issue, the installation person would provide you that. But when I asked the installation person for it, he refused. I kept on calling multiple sales people who had committed but they said they can't help now.

                          Frustrated with the entire process, I immediately decided not to go with the installation and not to take the connection. I asked the installation person immediately to take his entire stuff. I called up sales person [protected] & [protected] (other person involved) and told them that I am not allowing the installation person to activate my connection as I am not getting the bill as
                          committed. They both assured not an issue and they would provide me a refund of Rs. 500/- by Aug 27th positively. It has been around a month now and have been calling these guys but they don't respond. Even if they respond, they use foul
                          language.

                          Another shock came to me on Sep 1st, when I received a bill for no.[protected], showing that the connection is already running. I would like to ask Airtel on what basis has the connection being charged and activated. Have they checked
                          their records that the connection was ever installed at my place ? Or it has been ever used ? I still have the installation acknowledgement that I never signed and handed over to Airtel person. Do they have a copy of it that confirms installation ?

                          Airtel slip clearly says "Once the report is signed, billing shall commence from the date of this report"

                          Also "Please sign the report only if you are satisfied with the installation"

                          Show me the original signed copy. How can the connection get activated if you dont have the original signed copy of this ?

                          This is the height of harassment that a customer can get. All due to your incompetent sales person who never committed right and over smart installation team that started the bill without even checking that the connection was installed.

                          I simple want to get a complete refund on my amount Rs. 500/- and I am not interested in any service from Airtel and my billing is on for a connection that doesn't exist

                              I had made a recharge of Rs: 90 .Transaction ID:[protected].
                              on date 9th jun 2008. before doing this I inquired about its call charges but still my local land line call cost me Rs 1.00 per minute which should be Rs.0.50 per minute. I made coplaint in airtel customer care but they didn't solve my problem.

                              Airtel — over priced recharge coupons

                              To whom so ever it may concern,
                              I would like put forward the grievances of me and many other customers who venture out to buy recharge coupons from their local grocery stores in my city of hyderabad.The main problem is that they generally charge a rupee more than the M.R.P which by law is illegal.its not just a question of one rupee or one customer. there a number of shops that sell recharge coupons for a price which is more than the M.R.P..i would request the concerned authorities to look into the matter because they are not only fleecing us customers but also bringing the mobile phone service provider a bad name.

                              Airtel Mobile — Recharge

                              I had recharged for Rs198 two months before. Before recharge the dealer called the customer care and asked about the recharge tarrif. Customer respresentative informed him that We'll get 100 messages free per day, NO DAILY RENTAL, NO CHARGE FOR FIRST MESSAGE. But After recharge it was found that , The Day's first 2 msgs were charged RS1. (1+1=2rupees per day). When asked to customer care and also supervisor (Name of supervisor if needed: Ramya) Say that that this tarrif is not apllicable for us, and some say that they have given wrong information, and some said that there is no plan as such AND SOME ALSO SAID THAT WE LIED.

                              And after that Now i want to recharge for RS 149 which has 150msgs free. First when called customer care, said that it is applicable, And when called second time they said that it is not apllicable, AND THEY ALSO SHOUTED AT US LIKE WE ARE THEIR ENEMIES.

                              Airtel Mobile Recharge — mobile recharge

                              Sir, i have a mob. connection of Airtel no [protected] which was taken at portblair, in A& N Islands when i was transferred from Bangalore to Portblair during May 2007. After completion of my tenure at Portblair, I was repatriated back to Bangalore during Jan 2010. I still hold the old mob. number. As there was a saying that once a number is allotted, that holds good throughout india and will come in to effect from 21.3.2010. I was recharging my mob. at bangalore itself. Recently I have recharged with Rs. 150/- which was not credited to my main account, and on enquiry it is stated that this recharge is valid only in Portblair. As i am in bangalore i cannot use this facility. I therefore request you to credit Rs. 150/- to my main account, so that i can use this in Bangalore.

                              Airtel Mobile — Mobile recharge

                              On behalf of my daughter Ms. Aswathy Vinod who is on a tour to Portugal, i tried to recharge Rs.1000 to her Airtel mobile No. [protected] through Recharge.in by using my SBI credit card. Although the credit card transaction including sewrvice charge of Rs.1075 was successful, the mobile recharge did not happen. More than six-seven hours the mobile recharge was showing as 'pending' and afterwards, the status changed to 'Invalid Credentials". Where and how i will get back the money as the transaction has not gone. Customer Executives of Airtel are not helping me. The message from SBI Credit card shows the transaction at Talence Technologies.

                              It is told by Airtel that they are third party service providers. But ultimately the money will go to Airtel only. So please help me to get refund of Rs.1075 paid for mobile recharge which did not take place.
                              Already the mobile was recharged soon by another transaction through Airtel by my husband who is at Trivandrum, as the recharge attempted by me failed.

                              I tried to recharge my Mobile [protected] on 14th-Dec-2010 for topup of Rs222 using my sbi mobile banking, the amount was debited from my account and it was transferred to airtel account but I did not get any talktime. SBI response is that the amount is already transfered to airtel with transaction id: 1200 2478
                              3454. I spoke to customer care executives many times but most of them are giving vague replies as well as different replies, so i don't know which one speaks the truth. I sent an email to airtel on 30th Dec-2010 regarding the problem, they replied back same day and asked me submit the bank statement as they wanted the proof that the amount was debited from my account, I submitted the bank statement and then after that i wrote a chain of mails to them but I used to get auto generated sms that "We will get back to you within 24 hours", I didn't get any call or any reply from airtel... Well I have checked in SBI also that the amount was transferred to Airtel but Airtel doesn't seem to care, It is not about small or Huge amount but it is about quality, and I can say with my own experience that all promises made by airtel are fake. The quality has gone down..

                                Airtel — amount detection

                                Past one and half month i am facing this issue. i am getting airtel mms game messages in my mobile through airtel live once i get that message i am losing the amount of Rs. 99 i am losing on my account balance. it was upon nearly four times after that i raised the complaint to airtel that time i needs to make so many calls to customer care no. Than only we are getting our many nearly 50% of the amount that all so we needs make nearly 30 to 40 calls to customer care no. even though i actived DND but airtel is telling it will take 45 days to active the DND service till to day i am losing nearly Rs 400/- in that i got nearly 250 rs only. so please to the needful for me.                                   I enquired from airtel office and came to know that my services are stopped due to third party use of my phone.It is very surprising that if SIM is taken in the name of my wife and if there is call from your office and phone is attended by another family member then how you can say that it is third party use.it means that only one person will attend phone even in case of emergency.you are also not providing the proof of name whether it is correctly recorded in your record or not.My SIM card is pre paid so not getting any bill so i am not able to see the correct name and address.
                                  It has been told that even if phone is not lifted then they will also stop the services in the name of verification.It is totally wrong because we are getting plenty useless calls from airtel and it is not necessary that i must attend all calls.I also don't know whether call is from airtel or fraud.
                                  It is my humble request to send a written letter or through email for verification before taking any action.I have to go to your office only to discuss problem as you are not resolving problems on phone or through mail. It is one kind of harassment to customer as there is wastage of time as well as money.I have to apply again as informed by your executive even there is no mistake from my side.I am interested in your SIM as i am getting the same number otherwise not happy with services.Kindly tell me the name of the SIM holder as per your record to verify the same.Pl reply immediately and improve the services otherwise customer will switch over to others.Rest is up to you.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am a loyal airtel (maharashtra) customer since 6+ years.. Hence my first choice for my second simcard in Bangalore was airtel..
                                  My Bangalore airtel no. [protected] out-going services have been blocked since 16th Feb, 2011.
                                  On calling airtel customer care, i was informed that i need to re-submit al the documents.
                                  I did the same, on that day itself, as that is th only mode of communication with me here in Bangalore. I was assured that my services would be enabled within 3 days.
                                  On Saturday 19th Feb, 2011 i called back to the customer care at 2.30pm and i was assured that my out-going facility would be started by that evening itself and that day i was given ref # COGCL[protected].

                                  But till today, i.e 21 Feb, 2011 my out-going service is blocked and being a loyal customer and performing my duties on time I have lost my patience.

                                  I called the customer care again today, and they said they will raise a new complaint and that will b addressed till 24th!!

                                  Before this also, my services were blocked for 3 days.. It is second time in d same month!!

                                  This was where i have decided to write this mail and let airtel know they have lost their 6yr old customer because of their bad service and total negligence.

                                  Airtel Prepaid Connection — stop connection outgoing/incoming /

                                  I had a mobile connection Number [protected] which has been provided by the Bharti Airtel Ltd. to me , the services were running smoothly all of a sudden the services were blocked by the service provider company (incoming/outgoing ) when I contact the concern Local Office of the Company, the representative told me that in ID verification it is found that ID is not correct. I request him to provide the fresh ID alongwith the application form of the company and I deposited the fresh ID to a Local Office of the Company in Lucknow. 03 months have been passed till now the connection is not activated while Rs.833/ balance maintain in my above mobile number. Please look into the matter and get me relief in the above matter as I have already suffered too much in this regard. Either immediately run my prepaid connection or transfer the credits on my another Airtel Prepaid Mobile Number [protected]/ [protected]. Hoping that you will solve the problem as early as possible.

                                    I was using airtel prepaid no. [protected] since 2008. Since January 2012 I didn't use this number &it was deactivated. I called customer support([protected]) in the last week of July 2012 & I was told that my no is not yet assigned to anybody and will be activated within 24hours. I was told the balance is zero.When my number didnt get activated even ater a week, I called the customer support again on 23/08/2012.I was told to recharge my mobile to get it activated. I did recharge my mobile with Rs.50/-. But still my no was not activated. Again I called support and I was told recharge was not successful and i need to recharge with Rs 31 to get it activated. i did it but no luck. Again I called cust support ,I was told the balance is now Rs. 24 and I need to recharge with Rs31 followed by Rs.2 to activate it. I did it. but still No didnt get activated. Again i called cust support. It was told me that I dint do recharge of Rs.2 immediately after rs31., it didnt get activated. So next day I did the same way. But still my No didn't get activated. I kept on following with cust support till today. But no proper solution from them and I was in vein. I tried calling my own number from a different airtel number and for my shock!!! somebody answered the call. Upon asking the person said that this No. got assigned tom a month ago. I called customer support & they said it cannot be reassigned to me. But what about the money I recharged??? The supervisor told me that, if I give any airtel prepaid No. they will refund my amount by recharging that No. I gave [protected]. And they kept me on hold and call got dropped. Since last 5 hours I called customer support several times & each time either they kept my call on hold or told will transfer to concerned person and thy kept on disconnecting the call. After struggling for 5hours, I could talk to one supervisor and he said that we cannot give you refund. Now, who is responsible for all the humiliation I am going through since last 2 months? What about the valuable time I spent talking to customer support ????
                                    Why was wrong information given to me??? Why did they ask me to recharge it when it is assigned to other person??? Why was I told that the number will be activated for me in the call itself ?? Why did the cheat me???? Who is going to give me back the compensation for my valuable time that I spent talking to customer support which did not yield anything?? I need justice... I request the concerned person to take necessary action against Airtel for this mess and do the needful. And make sure that this kind of humiliation is not done to any other customer like me.

                                      I am using airtel postpaid service. My number is [protected]. I get a
                                      new android cell phone on 3rd of September 2012. On 6th of September I
                                      received a sms that I am getting free 133 MB of internet service for
                                      free. On 7th of September I get sms that I have already used 97MB of
                                      data service and on 8th 170MB. I called to customer care about this
                                      and they have told me that I am getting 500MB of internet service for
                                      free till 4th of October. so I deactivated that internet service for a
                                      while that whenever I'll be in need I will use it. But Now they said
                                      that I am getting charged for this and I have to pay 1600 Rs for this
                                      so called FREE SERVICE.
                                      I am feeling cheated. I never expect this thing happening in airtel
                                      services. I was having complete trust in your company but now I feel
                                      like a fool who get tricked.

                                        I have raised so many complaints at airtel.they given false assurances, I got the call from sales team, said it will be delivered on my address within 1 week, when I asked about POD status or courier agency name they disconnect my call.

                                        Airtel Digital TV - DTH — No response after 1 year of disconnection to take away the hardware

                                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                                        My Airtel Digital A/c. No. [protected] in the name of Dipesh Mistry has been disconnected in May 2010, as it was unable for the Airtel engineers to relocate the hardware (Dish / Set-top box / remote / access card). I was given a date to 1st April 2010 (10:04 am) the Airtel people would come and collect the hardware. I waited for about 10 days after 1st April and complained again. I was again given a date and time and nobody turned up.

                                        Thereafter, I have continuosly put complaints to remove the hardware from my residence. I always get a date and time and nobody turns up. Its been almost a year now and last month I have given 2 complaints to remove the hardware. Both the times ive been assured the the hardware will be taken out in the next 24 hrs and its not done.The last complaint was given around 19th Feb 2011 where I was assured the hardware will be remove immediately. I was also given the agency cell no. ([protected]) who will come collect the hardware. Yet there was noone to come.

                                        I had also called the agency and I was assured by Pranav (in-charge of the agency) that it will be removed the next day as they are very busy today. Its been almost a week now and there is nobody to even bother to call and talk. I have tried calling the agency for the past 5 days but nobody now picks up my calls.
                                        Above all this i've been continuosly getting messages on my cell phone to recharge the service. Sometimes there are 3 to 4 messages in a row to recharge / get exciting offers etc.

                                        I hope this time some action is taken.

                                        Airtel Digital TV - DTH — UNABLE TO RECEIVE THE SERVICES DESPITE PROPER RECHARGE

                                        The recharge was done on 12th August,2011. However when no signal was received in the T.V, a complaint was filed on 13th August,2011 and it was promised that within 24 hours engineer will come to set the things right. After that, 4 more times complaint was filed between 14th August to 18th August and everytime promise was made by the Customer Care to send the engineer within 24 hours. However, till date, no action has been taken. I am really shocked that such hopeless services would be provided by such a popular brand.
                                        When I check up with the customer care, my balance is reducing everyday without any services being provided.
                                        Please let me know if any action is going to be taken or I will have to move to the Consumer Court for remedial action.
