DEAR SIR, iam deeply astonished and scared to see my both the bills which are
out of range.italked with 121 who explained that plan has been changed.but iwas
not given any prior notice or information regarding change of plan niether by
sms nor by email.this is very much digusting on part of such a company of known
repute.if iwould have been informed prior by your company regarding change in
sms policy i might have planed accordingly to adjust my sms within my
budget.now the projected bill for no [protected] is out of my budget.iam not
able to pay this at once.kindly remit/discount the amount charged for sms as
this is not my fault.this is a negligience caused by your side,otherwise iwill
be going for disconnection.

Airtel — Excess amount billed and plan changed without intimation

Hello,

I am a post paid customer of Airtel. Rite from the beginning I had subscribed for 199 GV plan. However in September the plan was changed to Alex_FV299 Plan without intimating me. When I received bill for Sep-Oct, I was shocked with the amount charged and the changed plan. I raised an issue ticket for the same and two days after I was asked to pay a lesser amount with an assurance that the plan would be changed back to 199 GV Plan. Tickets raised were[protected] and[protected].
In Nov, when I received the bill for Oct-Nov, again the same issue cropped up and this time the below tickets were raised
19431569 and 19431630. I was again given assurance that everything will be resolved.
Now for Dec again, the same thing has happended. Today again I have raised an issue ticket for the same two errors: 19789164.
I donot understand why such an harrassment. If this continues, it would be hard for me to contiue with Airtel. I am Airtel customer from last 3 years.But never faced such a situation. Why such an irresponsible behaviour by the Airtel Customer reps. If such resolutions flow to the customers than I am afraid, soon airtel customers would be driven to Vodafone and other airtel competitors.
A sincere advice: Either innovate your services or educate the front end and backend customer reps, so that seasoned customers wouldnot have to undergo such a torchure.

AirTel — plan chaged without intimation & excess bill

in april 08 i have taken one air tel connection, no is [protected]. then suddenly after two months they changed my plan & the bill amount shoot up from three hundred to seven hundred.

I paid for one month & asked to correct the plan but nothing happened. then next month i refused to pay as per their new plan & asked them to correct the bill if you want me to pay. now toatal amount as per air tel is Rs 1578 /- & as per me it is around seven hundred including taxes.

two meetings already happened with them & they are now telling that TRI new rulling had came at that time & because of that they had changed my plan without infroming me, without asking me.
Can you pl clear as per law can they do like this.

Bharti Airtel — plan changed without intimation

Respected sir,

i have been using Airtel friends since the past 4 and a half years. The problem is that my friends plan lapsed without any prior notification. I had lodged a complaint with the airtel customer care executive and she assured me that within 24 hours my plan would be reverted back to friends plan and my balance loss would be refunded.

When i contacted the customer care executive after 24 hours, he was adamant and said i recharged my number with Rs. 26 and changed the plan. It might have been done by another person who might have recharged the wrong number by mistake. Now i want my friends plan back. Since i can assure you that i didnt recharge my number for changing the plan. Thanking You and expexting help as soon as possible.

    This is my second complain regarding the airtel 3G network.....as i m still having problem ie. i m not getting 3G network i checked my friends sim card & he is getting the network... so he suggested me to change the sim card so i brought a new sim card with same existing no. but of no use...i tried activating the 3G by sending 3G to 121 it says it is already active on your no. still with no 3G network i tried to activate the 3G pack it says service is not available for this no. so when i contacted customer care he said to check whether my sim card is a 2G or a 3G card he also told me that there is a seperate sim for 3G .......if airtel supports 2G & 3G network on a same normal sim card then y to check this...i m really fed up bcoz of this plzzzzzzzzzzz help y only i m not getting the network???????????????

    Dear Sir,

    We are airtel customers for last 5 to 6 years and using prepaid service. I would like to give the complaint regarding network. We are unable to get the network for last 2 months. We always have to go out in the open area and call. Earlier we were not facing this problem. I would like to know why this problem is arising and when it will be resolved. 'we are now fed up to call again and again to customer care centre. Nobody is responding properly.

      They all are fraud and simply ignore such emails or sms.

      The thumb rule is, Money can't be earned easily, if someone offering you a easy money beware, there must be some catch.

        Sir, I am a regular user of Airtel My Mobile no.0900551xxxx since 2006.Today at12.14 pm I got a miss call from[protected]. I did not guess about this miss call ,so I rang the number flashed on my mob.in miss call. From other side I was told that some Mr. Rajveer from AIR TEL speaking and informed me that I had won Rs.25 lac lottery from AIRTEL mausam festival customer’s Mob.nos. then he told me plese contact to my sinier lotry amount distribution officer in this number as [protected].but i culdnot contact that side. In this talk I loosed Rs.60 in my mob. balance . I am not intended to spend extra mony.want to know the truthfulness of this call whether AIRTEL launched such Scheme and I actually got some or it was fraud. If it is fraud than I want to take some action from your side because some want to take benefit of your esteemed organization and may cheat some innocent persons on your behalf. Kindly, draw the kind attention of your higher officers so that appropriate action may be taken against such fraud person who is defaming you Good Name. I shall be a good witness in this matter. Pl. reply me soon.

Please stop auto renewal of SMS package at the earliest. Also I am receiving several AD information, Bollywood & many more entertainment messages and unnecessary deductions charges from my account.           Airtel — stop sms, and dedections for those sms

          my air tell no is [protected], the sms from 54542 , is un necessorily comming to me, and for that sms , they deduct rupees one per sms, without my concern, service complaint no 121 is not working , i also sent an sms, to 54542 it is not working, so please stop that sms service.

          Airtel Mobile — auto Subscriptions of packages

Since last two months I have been noticed that hello tune is activated and monthly Rs 30 is deducted from my account I 'm trying to Connect customer care but due to congestion of network I'm unable to deactivate the hello tunes from my mobile. kindly help us to deactivate the hello tune as soon as possible

                  airtel has deducted amount of rs 99 twice from my account. Pl ask them to refund the amount.

                  AirTel — DEDUCTION OF RS 99/ TWICE

                  On 17/11/09 I received 2 messages from no 54321 with the text " THANKS FOR DOWNLOADING INDO PAK CRICKET 2007 FROM AIRTEL.YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED RS 99.BOLLYWOOD PICS. EVERYDAY-*321*555#" On 18TH I contacted at their helpline [protected] they promised me to resolve the dispute. On 19th morning I got a call from airtel representative he informed me that there was a mistake on their part and money will be refunded by 5 pm on 20/11/09 also give me the complaint no[protected],but no refund made to me .on 21/11/09 Icalled at no 121 and explained the whole story.I recd a message from 121 about my request giving me a request no [protected].On 22/11/09 again received a call from their representative and informed that the issue will be resolved by 24th of november..But no response from airtel till today.You are requested to look into the matter and help me in getting back my money My m no is [protected]

                  AirTel — deduction of rs.99 from my prepaid account

                  i was surfing internet through my mobile phone no.[protected] at around 1330 hrs on 26 April 2011.
                  Suddenly I received a message from the service provider that i have been charged Rs. 99/- for downloading Hungama Content game from Airtel. i knowingly did not download any game neither was i warned anything before charging this huge sum without my express concent. It seems that Airtel is hand in glove with these sites like hungama, to loot the subscribers. no express concent has been given by me to airtel to deduct my account for any other purpose other than my making calls through their network.

                    AirTel — Unable to recharge prepaid

                    My mobile number is [protected]. Am unable to recharge my prepaid SIM card even though have lifetime validity. I had accordingly raised a complaint([protected]) with customer support on 31-Jul-09. Till date my issue has not been resolved. I have already escalated to Nodal & Appellate officers of the Airtel Karnataka zone. I have only received assurances of resolution within 24 hours each time. Nobody even bothers to call me back! Twice they called me to inform my issue is resolved only to find the reverse. And they went ahead & closed my original complaint & raised a new one instead. They point blank refused to reopen my original complaint! All this can be corroborated by the Airtel customer support as they record all the calls made to them.

                      My father is class 1 goverment officer in Agriculture officer. I have converted his TATA Indicom Number to Airtel GSM due to change in handset. Airtel first time stop my card functioning even after all the documentation were proper. Again i had submitted the documents they have given me new card and again service started. Now again same thing happend again and again after every 1 month. This is the third time it happend. The TM of area are not entertaining for my calls. I have raised the complaints so many times but the issue is not resolved yet. they have asked again for document. This time i have not given any documents cause i dont want the service of airtel now.                         Airtel — spam messages from Missed you service

                        Recently for every missed call in my mobile with airtel sim, i have been receiving message from "missed you service" asking me to subscribe for missed you service that would let me know the caller ids of the people who gave missed calls. I don't need this service and i seriously want it to stop spamming me.
                        My name is K.D.M.DURGAVATHI.
                        I, got an message today about an airteldigitaldish gift.How can i belive.when neighbours also got the same message they are all saying it is fraud message.So i want to know how much correct it is.My mail address is [protected]@rediffmail.com.Please give me some suggestion.I SAW THIS FRAUD MESSAGE ABOUT ONE MORE PERSON WHO ALREADY PAYED THE AMOUT ITSEEMS.HERE IS COMPLAIN DETAILS.IGOT THE SAME AS EXPLAINED IN IS MATER.i got a SMS from TD-D T H to my airtel number on 1/11/2010. The SMS content is like this "your mobile number has won a airtel set top box from airtel dth services. more details please login www.airteldigitaldish.com last date 1/11/2010"

                        then i got another SMS from TD-AirtelHD on 3/11/2010. The SMS content is like this "your name and address has been registred successfully. and your conform delivery details please login www.diwaligift.org. last date 3/11/2010"

                        i did the same

                        in the above mentioned web site www.diwaligift.org they told me to deposit consumer service tax amount Rs.440/- to a state bank of india account

                          MY customer ID is airtel dth [protected] name chandan netra ...= i have purchased airtel dth in aug 2009 for rupees 1750. on 10 oct 2009 i have recharged my account with 1265 rupees plus my acct balance of around 100 rupee more. same day informed to airtel customer care that this recharge is for one year super value pack and rest of money for other two top-ups till it lasts. after that i have newer subscribed for any channel.in half of nov 2009 i saw that i am getting star gold channel also, thinking that this channel might be made part of super value pack.on 24 may 2010 i received sms on my mobile that my payment is due on 26-may. As i was out of jodhpur upto 31-may. on-return i saw my services were stopped i have spoken to customer care,there supervisor and complaint about my services .on 2 june evening i have been told by supervisor that my complaint is sent to authorities and will be sorted out with in 48 hrs and i will be called back but still i am waiting for call.how a customer will bear this type of cheating. thanks. please help me

                          SUBJECT : CLASSIC CASE OF CHEATING BY LG DEALER IN THE NAME OF PROVIDING FREE AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CONNECTION.
                          For the last so many years,l alongwith my two elder brothers have always patronised LG products . Reposing our unabated trust naturally, this time too , on the occasion of Diwali festival one LED 3D TV (32/LW4500) For Rs.46,500/- vide bill no.B-1187 dt.25/10/11 in the name of Sri SANJIVE KUMAR CHHABRA R/O 57-A Sarabha nagar extn.,ldh and one LCD TV (42/LK450) for Rs.43,500/- vide bill no.R-0029 dt. 25/10/11 in the name of RAJIVE CHHABRA R/O 56-A Sarabha nagar extn.,Ldh were purchased from L.G SHOPPEE (M/S RAM KUMAR AJAY KUMAR) at Malhar Road,Ludhiana. But extremely regret to inform you the sad experience meted out to me this time at the hands of your dealer subsequent to the purchase deal.
                          Sir, the purchase were under the scheme to be provided by the dealer with AIRTEL DIGITAL TV CONNECTION worth Rs.999/- along with 4 months free subscription to channels with every set of purchase. In this regard we were along provided with 2 NOS. ACTIVATION KIT with SR. NO’S [protected] & [protected] . The dealer also intimated us that the AIRTEL people have been intimated in this regard and in the next 24 hours , both the digitial tv connection would be activated at our place along with the 4 months free subscription; which never happened. Repeated requests could get us only 1 NOS. AIRTEL CONNECTION INSTALLED after 15 days but with no free subscription to the channels, which is sheer CHEATING on the part of the LG dealer.
                          Repeated requests have been directly made to AIRTEL DEALER in lUDHIANA, to provide with the committed facility but in vain.What is more disgusting , to add to the fuel to the fury, the staffs at the AIRTEL DIGITAL DEALERSHIPS AT LUDHIANA viz. Miss JASSI[protected], MR. SAINI[protected] ,UNNAMED[protected] and MR.HANDA[protected] used VERY ABUSIVE ,FILTHY AND THREATENING LANGUAGE against us. They even threatened to remove all the equipments of the One set provided , if we insist for our just and right claim.They even asked for recharging the connection before even installing and activating the set at our premises.
                          WHAT WAS MORE ASTONISHING THAT THE LG DEALER WAS GIVING DEAF EARS TO THE ENTIRE EPISODE. One could clearly make out the nexus between the both dealers and their CLASSIC way of cheating customers in the name of freebee’s. My offer to the LG DEALER to reimburse the connection amount so that we could opt for some other connection was turned down straight away and under no circumstances he was willing to do so. Sir, this unholy nexus between your LG DEALER and the AIRTEL DEALER which will have most damaging effect upon your business in the long run.
                          Also, my strong suggestions to the LG MANAGEMENT that this unscrupulous dealer should be immediately shown the door and STRIPPED OF THE DEALERSHIP to save yourself from the negative effect upon your furture business. The AIRTEL MANAGEMENT too is no exception in this regard.Stern and expeditous action is necessary against BOTH THE DEALERS who dare to use most unbecoming and harsh language against the customers.
                          The copy of this letter is being forwarded to the MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING for serious action against AIRTEL DIGITAL TV . Also I would like to assure you that I would go to any length to get justice.

                          I completely disappointed with the way you have been treating your customers.This is to inform you that Since last 7 days I am facing problem with airtel that I have booked a digital tv connection through online and payment has been taken by Mr. Ismail through ivr, transaction id is 17923545, booking id is 53005, and the message on my registered mobile account id is [protected], and he promised that within 48 hrs it will be there or latest by Monday 12th dec 2011 the connection will be established for which the local dealer will call. But 12th nothing had happened and I called up airtel customer care to complaint the same they promised that Tuesday 13 it will happened, again on Tuesday nothing happened, so have contacted to your customer care again and I had a talk with Mr. Praveen navlani, on sales and marketing, he also promised that within 24 hrs it will be resolved, but next day nothing happened and called up customer care and talk to Mr. Roshan and he also promised the same that within 24 hrs it will be resolved, I have collected the no of Mr.Sandip, responsible person from Online payment division as per customer care on [protected], he told that he has resigned from the airtel and the charge is with Mr nayoom his no. [protected] so I called up his mobile and he also promised that within 24 hrs it will be resolved, in between I have contacted airtel Nodal officer kochi, but for him someone else attended from his office and told that only online id created but nothing from the department, so again I tried to contact Mr. Nayoom but he never picked his phone later. Finally yesterday I talk to your customer care and Mr. Vishendra( communication ID[protected], contacted from[protected] and told me that please wait another 24 hrs. In between I send an e mail to airtel grievances cell id provided on net but no reply or action has been taken.
                          I do not understand why you people commit to something that your company just cannot do. Some one from your customer care He says it is a system problem, I do not understand how there can be a system problem when all other connections are working in the area. And if it is a fault from your end, why should I have to compensate by waiting longer.

                          So sir, please let me know how many people are there to be responsible for a connection and how long I have to wait for a connection or which consumer protection act is applicable and cochin consumer court will take up this complaint if I go to them?
                          Even after 168 hrs no body contacted me or no response for my mail , so who will be responsible for my time and effort and mental and physical strain I have taken so far?

                          Hope you will be able to help me in this matter and hope you will not be like others in airtel that only promise and cheating public like me....

                            I m using a airtel prepaid number [protected] ,Since 6 march 2012 i have started a
                            blackberry bill plan of rs. 129 in which 300 free sms per month were alloted to
                            me.but since then i have been charged for those free smses,inspite of my
                            regular complaints to theairtel company.every time a new executive attends the
                            call and when i call @customer care no. 198 of airtel they say call @ 7070 for
                            blackberry helpline,and at 7070 they say talk to 198 its a sms related problem.
                            Since june i m trying to tell my problem but they always say that you are not
                            charged for the same.but when one executive trued to understand my problem
                            andregistered the complaint no. Which is 44453300 on 1 september 2012 . I
                            recieved a call from airtel no.[protected] mr. Shiv kumar was unable to
                            understand my problem so he transferred the call to his senior executive.that
                            person toldme to try a test sms and check whether your sms charge is deducted
                            or not, on trying this at that timei was not charged.but when i asked him that
                            it happens usually that i am charged so he suggested me to generate your bill
                            for previous six month i.e. from march to august and told me that a total
                            charge of rs.50 will be deducted for your request its one time deduction,but i
                            enquired whether i will be charged 50/- per month , then he said nno . Just sms
                            EPREBILL_mar apr may jun jul aug and email id to 121. But on messaging it said
                            its wrong keyword type each month in a separate message. Ondoing so they
                            deducted rs. 300 for 6months of bill generation that to for checking their
                            fault.

                            on recieving the bills i was proved right that per month on every sms charges
                            were deducted from my account.i m enclosing you the copied of the bills and
                            kindly look in to thematter seriously for continously disturbing me for six
                            months.

                                4.09.2012 with revised rent of Rs. 326.00 p.m. for Mega pack. But upto 11.00 p.m. on 05.09.2012 there is no addition in my existing plan.                                 Airtel — Struggle to include a new channel

                                I am user of Airtel DTH service user in Indirapuram U.P, and my customer ID is [protected].

                                I am trying to add Paras channel in my package since 5/17/2011 i.e. last 60 days, and have been unsuccessful in it.

                                At the first attempt I did applied it online and the channel got started. In a span of 3-4 days the channel got disconnected without notice.

                                Upon my investigation with customer care, I was told that there is a need for a Technician to visit my home to change some setting at Set Top box. Technician came after 9 calls to Airtel Customer Care, 5 registered complaints and 3 written complaints over email.

                                Now required setting change is done, still the channel is not subscribed and not coming.

                                Secondly when the technician came, he tried to fix a loose connection and charged us 100 Rs for it. Even after that the connection was still loose, and another technician told to replace the set top box.

                                After another 2 call to airtel customer service, finally a technician came and replace it. And now NOTHING is coming in my TV. Since than I have called that guy (Mahender) over 20 times in last 2 days.

                                I am total frustrated with the service Airtel has given to me. It seems like I am they are just making fake commitments which has no foundation.

                                I never expected such a pathetic treatment by private sector company, which tried claims to be India's best.

                                      This is with regards to the prepaid number[protected] that I ported from Vodafone to Airtel.
                                      From the day the number was ported to Airtel (18 August 2012), I have been facing a lot inconvenience in receiving calls, making calls.

                                      Add to this the disgusting operator - Airtel has barred me from calling their Customer care.

                                      My outgoing calls get dropped in between, every time I make a complaint, they keep saying there seems to be no problem from their end.

                                      They have been disgusting, annoying. And yet they keep promising me saying this issue will be resolved soon

                                      Till now there has been no respite and I am forced to go through this non sense again and again

                                      I request the Forum to kindly take action against Airtel and ensure other people like me who port to Airtel with loads of expectations are not forced to go through all the trouble that Airtel is making me go through

                                      Airtel needs to be ashamed for this kind of customer service and yet they say we are India's number one telecom operator when it comes to customer service

                                      So far I have not received any response from you people with regards to this. You people have been acting immature and irresponsible. You keep saying there is no problem from Airtel, yet I am a victim of your careless and hopeless customer service attitude.

                                      I have sent more than 5 emails to your nodal officer with regards to the network issue, and issues in connecting to customer service desk and so far I have not received any promising response that my issue will be resolved.

                                      You guys should take this issue on high priority and start working on this. Any time you are unable to reach me due to your hopeless network connectivity, drop me an email to this address : harish.[protected]@gmail.com and I can respond to your email

                                      Time and again I have reiterated the issue with you people, only hoping that this will be resolved at the earliest.

                                      What does a sorry mean, when you just say it for the sake of saying it. Wake up Airtel, before its too late. No point saying "Airtel is the best network service provider"

                                      Get this issue resolved asap
