HI All,

Sub: Please Never go For Airtel DTH connection.

I paid Rs.1390 for the installtion of Airtel DTH connection at my Residence Crossing Republic appartment Gaziabad through online on 7th Sep. 2012 But till date 14th September 2012 DTH connection is not installed. So many times i tried to contect Customer care executive. But whenever He listen that i paid on 7th sep. either He disconnect my phone or make it silent. Before Paying for the connection i received around 10 calls from Airtel DTH but once i paid amount i called around 20 times to Customer care. After that no getting any response. This is the worst and fraud comapny. So i request to every one never Go for Airtel DTH. Now i have final option to go for Legal.

Airtel DTH — Airtel DTH: Not Installed

I booked airtel DTH though their customer care using credit card. They promised that I will get connection within 48hrs, today, it is more that 5 days, nothing happended. I call customer care everyday 10 times and every time they say it will be done within 1 hour and they will call me back. This is the worst service experience I have seen. These people make false promises and wrong committenst at the time of booking the connection and afte that they forget their customers.

Can anyone help me here. These people have no ethics.
It is a common problem with airtel guys.
I had airtel broadband, dth services but when i start relocating my self (as i used to stay in rented house)
to new place which is 15min distance from old place, the problem starts.

Every day i used to call 10-12 times to customer care they will say i will send our agent with in 1 hour.
finally after 6th day one agent called me and said he is coming to my address within 15 minutes.

But that 15minutes never came in my life, i tried to reach him several time.
I got same answer, Sir will be reaching your place in 10 minutes.

Finally i had to change the service provider vendor.

Be aware of such stupid services.
Think twice before you go for airtel.

Airtel DTH — Not installed

Dear Concern,

This is regarding new connection Airtel DTH. I have paid 1590/- through my credit card.I made a payment on 15-sep-11.Connectindia.com they said with in 24 hours we will installed in your home.But till know nobody is contact to me.At the same time Vriti-Interactive also froud.The representative Mr.Nadeem Kumar said that you will get connection with in 24 hours it self.Still i waiting for the installiation. Please suggest me what should i do for further action.

Dear Concerned,

This is to bring into your notice about your employees attitude towards resolving customer problems.

We have put up the first request to airtel on 8th of september Request number-(pls refer to our calls)

Engineer came up at our place and we have realised that there is main wiring missing in our apartment and we have requested engineers to go back.
Post that we have been informed by customer services people that we have to put in request again to get our set reallocated.We have taken their advice and did so.

We have put in request on 17th again Request number[protected] .Engineer by the name Aman visited our place .Post checking the requirements first he refused to install the same and given us information that airtel has given strict instructions that they will not be doing installation wherein internal wiring is there in flats in multi-story buildings. They would install the DTH dish in the balconies only.

As per the Society Rules, any flat owner can not get the DTH installed in balconies and the same can be done on the Top floor and all the necessary arrangements have been done by the society. I went to the TOP FLOOR where 20-25 dishes are already installed on the top floor of other DTH vendors.

In the meantime, Aman was in constant touch with us and despite of giving promises to visit our place he never used to visit.On 20th morning Aman has called up and confirmed airtel has given me instructions not to install but still I would visit at your place on my holiday and see what could be done. He has visited our place at 5:30 in the evening and given us budget of 800 Rs for the installation since there would be lot jointers & connecters would be needed. We called up customer service and asked for the prescribed rate list, Customer care exec. refused to share with us and claimed that customer services people do not hold actual information regarding the connectors and jointers.

Aman did half of the work till 20;00 hrs and DTH was still not in operational mode.He kept junction box and the pointers opened and went back. When we have told to rectify it properly he refused as he said he would visit again next day and do rest of the work.He asked us to pay 500 Rs immediately and rest to pay next day. We trusted on him and paid him 500 Rs.

We were surprised at that time that is why he was trying to misguide us by giving us wrong information that airtel has given them instructions not to reinstall in flats where internal main wiring is there.

At the same time, we have never put in request to close our request but without our confirmation request has been closed.We believe this all is being taken care by Aman and he is getting our complain closed by his own ways as there was not even single call which has been made from customer services pre closing our complaints.Customer services was in constant touch with us till the time Aman was not into picture.It clearly shows that employees have access to all screens and controls wherein they can manipulate and close customer complaints.

I called up again Customer Care on 21st Sept'12 and asked the reason of closing the request however nothing has been done. Explained everything to customer care executives once again. Executive promised to resolve the problem in 4 hours but nothing was done on 21st Sept. I called up again on 21st Sept evening and asked for the resolution and put me on hold and disconnected the call. Then Called up the customer service number several times but everytime the call was put on HOLD.

I again called up on 22nd September Morning, it was confirmed by the executive that the problem is not resolved from Airtel end. they would get back to us with in 4 hours. It's been 2 hours now, no call has been made as of now.

Would again like to highlight the employees attitude towards customers.

1)Engineers are more interested in making their own money despite of resolving issues.

2)Customer services people have their own access to close complaints request without checking customers.

3)Despite of complaining again and again nobody takes initiative to actually resolve issue.

4)How can Airtel give this access to employees that they can use their knowledge and cheat people for their personal benefit.

Would please insist to take strict action against Service Engineers as they are not interested in resolving issues rather more interested to make their own money.

    Dear Rakesh,

    Thank you very much for the lovely Airtel 3G service I am experiencing till date.
    However I have landed up with a similar problem I faced earlier.
    I recharged my mob data card mob number for Rs. 450 for 2Gb datapack on 13/9/2012. The transaction was completed by debit card on line. The amount was deducted from Bank Account immediately. How ever this is the SMS I received from Airtel and my 3G data pack has not been recharged till today. I cannot contact any customer service representatives as is usual with Airtel.
    13/9/2012 at 18.37 hours.
    Your Airtel mob number [protected] on line recharge Tx ID 837784 of Rs. 450 has been initiated please keep this transaction ID for future reference.
    I kindly request you to look into this matter and do the needful please.

    Dear Rakesh,

    The complaint in question has not been resolved. The amount in question Rs. 450 has not been refunded to me. Today is 25 Sept 2012.
    Kindly refund the amount in the next 24 hours or I will take necessary action as deemed fit by me which includes legal action and publicity. How can you just brush me off like this, ridiculous in the extreme.

      Hello,

      I have not opted for the BIG FAT FREE STORE_5 and GAMES MANIA_5 subscription but every day Rs10 is being
      deducted from my Mobile Prepaid account since almost a month.

      I had requested twice to Airtel to discontinue the deduction and reimburse the amount back,
      even sent an SMS with details of deduction but no action has been taken since last two weeks
      when the request was sent and the deduction is still continuing.

      I request to please discontinue the deduction and reimburse the amount back to my prepaid account
      at the earliest.

        I have requested to deactivate my broadband and landline on 31st May 2012 thru mail but eventhough every month they are putting the charges. When the executives called first time for the payment, I have asked for deactivation but they were saying "we did not get any mail and asking acknowledgements".

            my airtel no. is [protected]. Last wek only I recharged SMS package for Rs.32/= and this was valid till 26th September 2012. But yesterday i.e. on 12th Sept. 2012 Airtel service discontinued the SMS package valid till 26th Sept.'12. Please continue the sms package as per the validity period.

            AirTel — Service Discontinued

            I have been using the number [protected] for last 4 years, a few days back they discontinued my service for 5 days after trying for 5 days they resumed my service. For last 2 days my service has been discontinued again. When I tried to reach out to customer care they replied that all my record has been deleted from their database and I'll have to purchase a new number. This would affect me both personally and professionally. Kindly help. I'm in a big project at the moment and I can't change my number nor I can do with this discontinued service.

              I have submitted disconnection application and paid the complete bill of my airtel landline phone[protected] since more then one year back
              phone is not working i have no connection but since 1 year i m receiving calls and due bills every month ..since i have no connection and no dues
              why this calls are coming i dont know i have informed about this problem to airtel and i got commitment from executive that they will reverse the charges and there would be no problems in future but its happening everyday and i m really irritated please kindly help and solve my problem
              Infact in past 1 years back when i gave application for disconnection they demanded the due bill which i paid even without using phone since last 2 years ...but now after disconnection application processed i dont know why the hell i m getting calls for pending bills on my personal mobile number every now n then

                Airtel has increase my broadband rental from Rs 599 to Rs 650 without giving any intimation to me. It just came as a surprise when i saw my broadban bill today.How can they increase the rental amount without even informing me. I will go legal against them

                Well Mr Ranga how have my concern resolved??? I have not received any reverts on my mail/neither a call and you saying that my complained is resolved

                Is this how your customer services works?? I want a clarification on the fact that why i was not being notified by Airtel either through email/sms for increase in the rental amount.

                If you have proofs then please share the records of emails/sms sent to me.


                I have written mails to airtel/ appelate ombudsman but unfortunately no revert from anyone
                Can anyone revert from airtel?? Pathetic customer service..

                  We had applied for port out for our cell no [protected] from bharti air tel to idea ltd since last month but Bharti air tel had rejected port out by giving unknown reason since we had talk many times to air tel customer-care on rejection and there are no problem found for our cell no account and asked us to try one more time on each call.

                  Further we had contact to idea cellular for reason given by Bharti air tel for rejection of said port out and they send a copy of rejection.Please find a copy of rejection detail from Bharti air tel. And make reply.

                  Bharti Airtel — Mobile portability

                  I have a mobile no of vodafone and i would port it to airtel, i had apply for port my number on 29-May-2011, then on 02-Jun-2011 at night 10:45 my voda no is out of order and airtel number does not start. Still my airtel number does not exist. Airtel customer care also not give any response.. Please take it serious because my number is very important for me. The mobile number is [protected].

                  sir,
                  i wanted to trnasfer my TATA Indicom CDMA netwrk to Airtel. i have collected unique porting code from tata and submited da same to aircel in da form. they told me dat it wil take 7days min. but it has been 15 days no respons from dem, again i went to chek da status dey said to talk to tata call center. airtel service providers told me dat code is expired give me another code again i gave but stiil no response, airtel is sauing to contact TATA, n TATA is saying contact to AIRTEL. please can u give me da solution for dis.

                  AirTel — No portability

                  Dear,
                  I am using [protected] airtel no from last 6 year .
                  I have shifted to new house from May 2011 since I am facing problem of range as inside by house.
                  For same reason I have complain to Airtel call center for more than 6 times and one time in Airtel Gallery.
                  As my problem was not solved i have decided to do No Portability.
                  I had done all the process but I have got following MSG -
                  "Hello! Your porting request AZ757911 dated 26th Jul11 has been rejected by your current operator due to these are subsisting contractual obligation from the subscriber agreement. Please contact your current operator for further details".
                  As if I have not accepted any offer from Airtel.
                  I have done same process for twice and I got same MSG.
                  Please help me I am Mentally Harasses.

                  I am a customer of airtel from Ahmedabad but now want to move to other service provider. For this I applied for portability on 1.10.2012 (Unique Porting ID AG945512) and I had submitted all my documents of the new service provider. And I was told that it will be ported within 7 days of time. Meanwhile I received a call from airtel company and I told them the reasons and informed them not to call me again on this matter. I waited for 10 days but no action had been taken.
                  I applied for portability again on 19.10.2012 (Unique Porting ID AG178896) and STILL NOT DONE.
                  I wonder why the hell do the customer care people call every time I apply for portability, IF THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND THE BASIC THINGS. I REQUEST THE HIGHER AUTHORITIRES OF AIRTEL TO TRAIN THEM TO LISTEN TO THE REQUIREMENT OF THE COSTOMERS AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS ACCORDINGLY. This is really fooling the customer.
                  I APPLIED FOR PORTABILITY THE THIRD TIME ON 04.11.2011 (UNIQUE PORTING ID AG286883)
                  Are they testing the level of patience of the customers…….

                    I am Samir Patel.I am using airtel prepaid card PH No:-[protected].I have already registered DND service(DND registration no:-w[protected]) still i get advertisement call from [protected]. This is the advertisement call from Government farming related fums.Today also it comes at (Date 13 September time 7:07am & other calls 13 september 9:40 am). I already complaint this in airtel 7 to 8 times and i am suffering withi this since last 7 months. It's very headache for me to handle it.

                      Airtel — Too many complaints,

                      Hi,

                      I am have too many issues with Airtel.

                      When I contact the call centre I am getting this message - Invalid Mobile number,
                      This is no way to contact the contact customer care,
                      Disconnected but still charging the credit card,
                      Callers are getting a message saying mobile is switched off etc.

                      There is no responsible desk in the company which can sort out the problems. It is very frustrating to deal with Airtel.

                      I will never recommend to anyone.

                      Airtel — Too many messages

                      Hello,
                      I had been receiving too many messages from Airtel and most of these messages twice or thrice! Like today I received Super value minute packs from 'Airtel' 4 times and Recharge with RC 30 from 'RC 30FTT' 4 times! And the last message I received (something about love songs) was at 9:55pm from 'Airtel Special'! What should I do to stop getting any messages on my mobile? I sent 'START DND' to 1909 on 11/02/2011. But I did not receive any acknowledgement message for this. I think I have sent this message before also from my mobile but with no response!
                      Atleast can you reduce the number of messages you sent to my mobile (only 1 message of a kind please!) if you cannot refrain from sending messages to your customers. My mobile number is [protected].

                        We bought an Airtel 4G connection in June this year (sim no. [protected]). Though the modem was exorbitantly priced at 7750 we purchased it as we were refused a landline connection by Airtel. No doubt it is a business tactic to sell their useless 4 G connections. It took a consumer forum complaint for Airtel to actually get the connection up and running. There is absolutely no customer service as complaints are generated and not even any phone calls are made to follow up. No field visits have been arranged so far despite numerous complaints from my end. The most recent complaint dated 10 sep complaint no 45839240 has found predictably no response from their side. Currently I am getting a speed of 20 KBPS for four consecutive days. Airtel promises 128 KBPS in all its promotions when your free usage expires. Already a speed of 128 is unheard of even in BSNL connections. Finally on reaching the airtel office where we purchased the connection we were first advised to physically bring the modem to their showroom for checking and on our objection we were told that the speed varies and in south Bangalore we will receive a maximum of 20 KBPS only. I have a very strong case for consumer court and am strongly contemplating pursuing it. I Would definitley wish to return this exorbitantly priced mistake and advise everyone to stay away from this extremely pricey and worthless 4G connection. Believe me BSNL is way better.

THE KIND OF SERVICE 'PRE RECORDED ONE WITH ALL OPTIONS UNDER THE SUN' KEEPS INCREASING THE BLOOD PRESSURE AND THIS IS THE STAGE THE CELL / TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANIES WANT FOR EVERY CUSTOMER OF THEIR INHUMAN SERVICE.

                          I DONT KNOW HOW TO COPE IN INDIA WITH THIS KIND OF LOOTERS AROUND. IF WE ARE NOT ALERT, MONEY IS LOOTED.

                              Saw 3G plan "StdPlan295" which is Rs. 125/- with 3600 min of 3G time. Considering a good bargain, recharged it and instead of this plan, I got A2A 275 minutes with 7 days of validity. Tried contacting customer care, but IVR will not allow. Tried "Contact Us" link in website which is throwing up some error. Appalled with the kind of service offered by largest telecom service provider in India. Not sure how many customers have been fleeced by Airtel and then denied customer support service.

                              No one, in right sense, would go for A2A 275 minutes for Rs. 125/- when there are so many 1p/2s plans available. Not sure how the get the money back or get the right 3G plan in absence of customer support.

                              Recharged with Airtel for Mob. [protected] for Rs 125 for 3600 3G minutes but instead, was given 275 A2A minutes which is of no use to me. On top of that, on contacting customer care, they refused to help in this case and disconnected the call twice. On contacting third time, IVR did not allow to speak with customer care. Finally made complaint at Airtel presence with complaint no. PR[protected], but so far nothing has been done.

                              I'm surprised that they advertise one thing and provide. And when you raise this with customer care, they simply disconnect the call and deny you further contact with them.

                              Appalled at the quality of service provided by them. As if they are interested only to add customers and when something goes wrong, simply bury their head under sand.

                                Respected Sir I am using Airtel pre paid connection.I got SMS from the Airtel that I can make friends and I can chat wtih them.They asked me to save the settings,but I deleted the setting and I send replay to the I dont need this sevics ...The next day I got SMS says that I amsubscribed.I am suprised They dedecuted 30/-Rs from my credit.The same day again I sens message to the stop the cutting and now the second month again they deducted 30/-Rs.I need to take action aganst this cheeting.

                                Airtel is cutting Rs:1/day for service called S Mono Subscription renew service. I have checked their website and nothing was there in that as well.                                   I am prepaid mobile customer of Airtel. I have been receiving unwated SMS alerts of cricket - Airtel has subscribed me for World Cup series without asking me and i am being charged for the same. My number is [protected]

                                  I have heard of the same issue with one friend of mine. How do we get our money back? and how do we stop them from doing the same in future?

                                  Bharti Airtel Ltd — Auto Subscription on Prepaid Numbers

                                  I have a Prepaid Number from Airtel which is [protected]. Off late it seems to shore up their sagging revenue Airtel has started resorting to the practice of automatically subscribing the prepaid numbers of their customers to their so called value added services. They automatically subscribe a number to a value added service and send a message to the number about the subscription. Then it is left to you to somehow contact their customer service officers (who are never available) and unsubscribe. If you are able to approach them they would conveniently tell you that its you who had subscribed to the service.
                                  Three days back they automatically subscribed my number to the World Cup cricket update service which is charged one rupee per day. When I contacted a customer service representative today, the bugger told me that I had subscribed to it three days back and he can only unsubscribe me from it. When I asked him to, he did something at his end, and confirmed that he has unsubscribed. I asked him how would I know, he said that I would get a message. That message never came but I continued getting the world cup updates. What takes the cake is a song from Dabang got automatically activated as a hello tune on my number for which Rs30 were deducted. Immediately after that the hello tune got automatically changed to a third grade song (I got a message for the same) for which Rs.15 got deducted.
                                  When I contacted the customer service representative, he conveniently put me on hold and disappeared. This company is slowly turning into a bunch of crooks out to fleece its customers.

                                    Airtel- one of the rising mobile communication companies of India has developed a scheme to “LOOT” public money. The “Auto Renewal System” in which they will activate a certain scheme after a certain period without even notifying you about it. They have this system for SMS pack, Internet Pack and what not because they think public money is not a concern for public.
                                    Once you recharge any of this scheme of SMS or Internet that means “watch out” because you have endorsed a curse of “Looted “by this Respected company. Yes, they will not inform you with any honesty that “Hello we are deducting your balance.” In fact, after deducting your balance they would popped you up with a message that “Your SMS PACK or bla bla bla has been renewed, to deactivate it please dial *777*0#”. But don’t be happy because your money is gone and now they won’t return it even you fight in courts. And then you knock on the customer care’s door to speak your complain. But the Respectful, Big -hearted, Honest, absolutely saints dressed in the form of Customer care to help us will say, “This system is for all the airtel customers. And we do send you message for deactivating. Now you have 1500 message, utilize it.” Wow! Utilize it- they know this suggestion better because they are utilizing public money to turn their turn over. And after this vain call to Respected “Coat-Suit” people in Airtel, you think lets utilize these message and a day before auto-renewal I will deactivate the AUTO- Renewal System. But days passed and as nobody have too much time to think about this deactivation thing, again after certain elapsing time they renew your scheme again, and “YOU LAUGH LOOKING AT THE MESSAGE which says “to deactivate dial *777*0#”. With due RESPECT to AIRTEL and ALL THOSE SITTING on for customer care service to us- grandly salute you. Keep looting. Thank you.

                                    Airtel — late auto renewal of message plan

                                    i got recharge my mobile for messages of rs. 62/- in last month. that completed by yesterday on[protected]. from today morning when I message to family person there was no auto renew of that plan from airtel company and serivice provider deducted the charge for my all messages in the morning therefore I have to got it recharged from retail shop in our campus at Indian Institute of technology, kanpur. but in afternoon company also deducted balance for auto renew of the message plan. but my point is this if my number was on auto renew plan then why they deducted money in the morning for messages and not my number got renew just after the expiry of previous one. why it took time of 14hrs to do renew. this is the company fault. if i had not recharged earlier than how can i do message for the time until they renew it. and why they did not inform me that it will take 14 hrs to renew automatically.
                                    therefore I want refund my deducted amount with the penalty on the firm. for this I can pay any thing.

                                    Airtel — Autorenewal

                                    I recharged my account with Rs 36 booster valid for 30 days. On recharge it informed me that it is a autorenewal pack . To deactivate i should dial *333*0# . But it is not working . It is responding that it is an invalid number.

                                    I have 3G airtel pack & set for auto renewal . Yday data limit over I have kept sufficient balance in main account considering that as soon as data over it will be auto renewed . But I have lost 230 Rs. but nothing has happen . after talking to customer care she explaining for auto renewal is only after validity date not on data limit . This shows clarity in system & seriousness with customer money . I have only seen video of 8mb with Rs. 230 .

                                    I have received the SMS 'your pack Rs.85= Local mobile at 30p/min 28D with local mobile at 30p/min valid for 28 days has expired today.(24/4/2016)To reactivate the pack, dial*129*10# '. but it was not working. I have tried many times and i have sufficient balance also. what is the use of this SMS
                                    sms pack 26 auto renewal in my no i want to deactivate thik what can i do

                                      Sir,
                                      We are residents of Vijay Nagar, Narela, Delhi -110040, Near Aggarwal Nuring Home, we would like to file a complaint against an illegal mobile tower (Airtel or Tata communication) installed at our street in H.No. U-88, Vijay Nagar, Narela, Delhi. The tower was installed without any permission from residents & it is effecting health of our children & seniors near by & in the building itself.

                                      In addition to above, I would also like to highlight the effect of electromagnetic radiations being emitted from the mobile tower which is a big health hazard for the people living in the vicinity of the tower area. We are posed with serious health threat and death due to diseases like brain tumor and cancer from the radiations of this tower and so are others nearby. It is a crowded area, very vulnerable and has a lot of children around along with a nursing home.

                                      The landlord of the particular house is not ready to remove & discontinue his agreement with the mobile company only for the sake of money.

                                      We are requested to please take a strict action & seal the tower for the sake of our health & environment.

                                      Hope for the action ASAP.

                                      AirTel — ILLEGAL TOWER IN RESIDENCE AREA

                                      There is in new shivaji nagar (kalwa east)some people setted illigal mobile towers on building . as you know mobile towers are not allowed in residencial area. people are suffering alot,due to rediation of the towers. people are getting miagrene problems ,weak eyesight,hearing problems .so will take the responsibility of all those problems .so please kindly consider this case .

                                        I had taken a airtel no [protected], on which i got a bill of 1700/- rs as stated by cutomer care it is because of surfing, where in i never used the same.

                                        Some one called me and said he is ready to settle the amount for 800/- rs , so i paid it online and he said he will send a settlement letter in 2 days, which i never received.

                                        Now again i received a call statiing to pay 1100/- rs, so i need a clarification why should i pay for which i never used.

                                        Please try to close the matter as its distubing me a lot.
