Sub : Complain - Getting Scam Sms

Hi ,

"win:YOUR MOBILE NO. HAS WON $8500,000 IN on Going Hero Honda company promo.
TO CLAIM PRIZE SEND UR NAME,Email,PHONE NO.,Phone no.,Add,Age to Hero Honda- [protected]@live.com"
Sender Mobile no. is +91-[protected]

On (Sep 4th,12) , I have recrived SCAM SMS from the mobile no. - +91-[protected] , thereafter I tried to call that no. but I was unable to connect on this fraud no. , So many times I am getting this kind of scam sms's from this particular mobile no.

This kind of mails and SMS are recd. by my so often. Pl. take necessary action and advice for further course of action from my end.

Airtel — Receiving a fraud msg

i have recived a msg on my airtel number [protected] from LM-SPDC-UK HAS NO VALID NUMBER JUST 2009, that i have won 3 millon dollar in mobile draw. what is that.

Airtel Mobile — Fraud via SMS

Since the last 3 months, I have been randomly receiving SMS messages thanking me for subscribing to various services from Airtel such as Hungama, Content Games, HannaMontana etc....all this inspite of me never using these services. I complained to Airtel, but they have been unable to do anything about this. The charge amount has slowly increased form Rs. 100 to Rs 1300 which show up as "SMS OTHER" charges in the bill. I requested Airtel Live to be disabled, and even received an SMS confirming this has been disabled. But I continue to receive these SMS messages and fraudulent charges.
I also spoke with Hungama.com who only said that according to their records it shows that I have actually used this service.
Airtel has also told me that my Nokia E73 may be defective - the NOKIA showroom confirmed that there is no issue with the phone.
This truly smells of a fraud, with Airtel passing the buck to the third party and the third party passing the buck back.
Not sure what I should do other than cancel my phone number which I have had since the past 10 years? Anybody has any ideas or suggestions?

    On 2nd of sept my balance was deducted and when i tried to complain regarding this, i have been blocked , i mean i am not bale to call customer care now, than i decided to port ma number, got a call from airtel n asked me to stay with airtel and promised me better tarrif as wel. till now my problem is not solved.
    Every time when they are not able to solve problem they block customer care service so that we shouldn't complain

      I have been fighting since 30th Aug 2012 to get a micro-SIM activated for my AIRTEL mobile number. I submitted the required passport photo and address-proof in-person at the Sheshadripuram AIRTEL customer service center. They gave me a guarantee of activation in under 24 hours. As I write this, it is now more than 144 hours (6 days) with no resolution.

      Every time I call the customer service (done this more than 20 times) and every time I visit the AIRTEL service centre (done this 4 times) they give me a new complaint number with a new deadline for resolution. They promise me it will be resolved, but when I call after their deadline, they simply raise a new complaint and give me a new complaint number!

      AIRTEL has grown too big for its own good. They don't care if a customer chooses to leave -- they exploit their pseudo-monopoly in Bangalore area, especially in high-end services like 3G/4G.

        My airtel connection No.[protected] Relationship No.[protected] in the name of Sunil Mehta has been Stopped without any communication from the Airtel company.I am regularly paying the bill and the connection was stopped a month back and when contact at the they said it will be started within one hour.Till today i.e 05/09/2012the phone is not started ,When again contact the person Name Devesh on mobile he said that the phone is permanently disconnect due to non verification of address.My form was correctly filled all proof were also enclosed including PAN Card,Ration Card and Department ID but it is at there end they have filled wrong information.You have filled city Jaipur instead o[censored]daipur and the pin Code is correctly type as 313001 which is o[censored]daipur .How address verification will be done when you type the wrong city.It is because of AIRTEl i am suffering and my customer are also suffering Please reply at my email addrress [protected]@sbi.co.in

              On 31 Aug 2012, I had requested for a new Airtel post paid Mobile connection in the name of my wife. The agent was Mr Deepak (mob no [protected]). He had come promptly to my house (G-403, Rohan Vasantha apartments, Marthahalli), explained the tariff plans, collected application form, taken requisite documents and money and left. He returned a few hours later and gave a sim card stating that he shall sms available numbers shortly and we were to select one number and sms it back to him. Accordingly, at about 1630h, we selected one number ([protected]) and he stated that the number will be activated by 5:30 pm (ie.. on 31 Aug 2012). However, till date it has not been activated and I have NOT recieved any call from either Mr Deepak or the Airtel. What is surprising is that the gentleman just refuses to pick up my repeated(almost 25 till now) calls and even does not reply to my sms. I have tried in vain since Friday evening to contact this person. So much so for customer care of Airtel. I would like to know if this person was fake !!!! and if NOT, why he has not ensured that the number gets activated on time as promised.

                people are known that airtel is the trusted co.,and he is the best for all,but i sout from an event,i recieved an msg from ad-atmovi,and was written,thank you for choosing sony tv alert,and just i called to customre care and my 5rs balance will refund,but i dont know 2nd time that what happen, again i recieved same msg and which time my balance was 2rs,and he deduct my balance,again i call to customre care and she says me your money will be refunded within 4 hours,but i dont recieved my money today has been spend,and i am trying to call to customer care,but no response came from executive .

                  I was an AIRTEL post paid customer before 2 years back and converted to prepaid with freedom plan (so called per second plain) last 2 years. It's really a good freedom plan for the service provider to earn money by SQUEEZE CUSTOMERS BLOOD. By the way, I checked the deduction for a call made to a land line which was charged me Rs. 0.02 paisa per seconds. Then I send a mail to the customer service and got the following reply from the nodal officer. So, my concern here is that the service provider changes your tariff without your knowledge and imagine the money what they got with this fraud to millions of Indian. Finally you know "they'll never acknowledge their mistake" because it's a source of their revenue.

                    Today recharged with 100rs,,,,
                    but airtel deducted 26rs for auto renewal of sms pack,,

                    Its not necessary for me at all... every month its on auto renewal,,
                    and i losing my money,,,i cant able to deactivate the auto renewal service..

                    This is to take notice to Airtel that ,,
                    whether it has to stop auto renewal service which is not necessaryaat all for customers and
                    check that whether "*333*0#" works,,, its highly ridiculous,, to face this every month..that number not works at all... so many of my friends and customers facing this problem,,,of auto renewal,,,,

                    please take necessary steps to avoid this circumstances.. else airtel will has to lose customers,,,,

                    I made a request to deactivate autorenewal of RC.18 SMS booster pack. They said RC 18 will be deactivated.
                    Then, I put RC 36 SMS booster pack on 01/04/2012.
                    Now again I got a message that RC 18 SMS booster pack has been renewed and the amount has been debited.

                    No action that has been taken on my complaint.
                    The complaint was given on 24/03/2012 . They again renewed RC 18 on 03/04/2012.
                    If the service has been deactivated why I was charged again ?

                    I ported from vodafone to airtel. Now I feel vodafone is much better than airtel.

                      I have been trying to activate my Blackberry Services (399 Plan ) but there is no response from the 121 number.
                      i tried calling the customer care around 15-20 times just for the same after which i cannot even dial 121, moreover, they are not ready to register a complaint for the same.

                      Please help me out ASAP as this issue is stuck since 1-1.5 Months.

                          Hi,

                          I am using Airtel's Telephone and Broadband Services for few years now. Lately last week my phone went dead and so my internet as well on 29/8/2012 and I made a complaint on 31/8/2012 which was registered under ticket number[protected]. They said the problem would be resolved in a day. A technician called on the same day and enquired about the issue and gave me another tech's number to call. I called him and he said he is working on the issue which is a telephone line cut issue caused while drainage work was carried out by the panchayat people. He said the problem should be fixed before end of the day, if not he would fix it on the next day morning for sure(1/9/2012). On Saturday night i got a call from Airtel saying it a confirmation call to check if the problem is resolved, as the problem has been said to be resolved by the technician. As I was not at home, i was not able to check and so informed them that I would call check and let them know when i am home. I Checked when i went home and the problem was not fixed. So I called the second technician and he said he was not working on the problem and the first one was the one who was working on the problem and asked to call him. So called the First tech and he said the problem with the line cut is fixed and was saying that he did not receive any ticket for my problem. I replied him that he is the one called 2 days back for the problem and asked me to call a second person. He said he would check and get back to me. No one called me, so I called Airtel helpline number again today(4/9/2012) and got a ticket number[protected], saying that the problem will be fixed before 3:30 pm and someone would call me before coming in. So I waited till 4:30 pm and then called again, and the customer care person was telling me now the time is till 6/9/2012 - 3:30 pm and i have to wait till then. As I was really not in a good mood now, asked for a Supervisor and he said he would transfer the call and put me on hold. About 12 minutes later the Supervisor picked up the call and said the line cut is issue is still there and so the technicians had asked for more time and that is why the maximum time frame was set as 6/9/2012. And he said he would make sure this problem is fixed within tomorrow (5/9/2012) evening max. At the end of the call I checked the call time and it was 25 minutes. I am writing this to let you know how much money we have to spend calling customer care to get a problem fixed and that too wait for more than 7 days. I am paying Rs.1600/- per month and I am getting this kind of bitter service on top I have spend more for customer care calls as well. Please check into this matter and do the needful, so that the customers like me are not ripped off and good service provided. My Land line number with the problem is[protected].
                          I was also sold a Binatone wireless modem saying the Normal modem was not available last year when my Modem went bad. I had to pay some Rs.1400/- to get it. Now when I wanted wifi working, Airtel customer care checked and finally say that the modem has some issues and I have to call Binatone to get it fixed. I do not understand why they want to sell a costly modem which i didnt prefer initially and forced to by the modem and now want to check with another Vendor for getting Airtel's service running. Bad service all the way

                          A BROAD BAND CONNECTION WAS BOOKED UNDER BOOKING NO.48500005 ON[protected].

                          MY TELE NO. IS 27041566 WITH CONSUMER NO [protected].


                          THE CONNECTION HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED EVEN AFTER EXPIRY OF MORE THAN 10DAYS.

                          I TRIED AT TOLL FREE CONNECTION 1500 /1504 SO MANY TIMES BUT OF NO AVAIL.

                          INSTEAD OF LODGING COMPLAINTS AND GIVING NO. THEY SUGGESTED TO CONTACT
                          UNDER MENTIONED AREA NUMBERS 27922900, 27051200, 27042020 ETC. BUT OF
                          NO USE.
                          NO BODY IS RESPONSING FOR DOING THE NEEDFUL.


                          I JUST WANT TO KNOW THAT WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO GET BROAD BAND LINE ACTIVATED
                          AGAINST MY ABOVE STATED BOOKING NO. ????????????

                          Thanks for replying. The problem with my phone line is resolved now. Thanks for the necessary action taken. As I customer I expect the problems with the services we pay for get fixed at least within 24 hours. Hope I would not have to raise complaints like this from now on.

                          If there is anything can be done for me to go WIFI using the Binatone DT 845W Wireless ADSL2+ Router provided by your company, that would be awesome. Looking forward in getting help resolving this as well.

                            I have three air-tel numbers {[protected], [protected], [protected]) with Bill plan Rs 99/- as per instruction filled on form and same has been charged for the first two/three bills received and payment were made accordingly. However, all of sudden without my Authentication/permission bill plan has been changed to Rs 149/- and amount has been charged according. Even, company don't bothered to inform the customer that his/her bill plan has been changed so do i want to continue or quit?

                            When i came to know regarding the same, I myself proactively called up thrice and informed the same on customer care number {198} stating that it has been charged without permission so I'll not pay any extra amount and launch the complaint.

                            After few days i start received collection calls to make the payments. I informed them that the complaint is already there on these numbers so resolve them first then I'll make the payment.

                            The caller informed me that complaint has been closed with the changes of bill plan back to Rs 99. However, i haven't received any call and no resolution has been shared with me but complaint has been closed.

                            Now my complaints are
                            1) How company can change the bill plan without customer notification along with authentication,

                            2) Delay in making the payment will lead to late fee charges also which is not the delayed bcoz of customers fault,

                            3) If I'll make the payment how n where it will get adjusted bcoz total amount due includes the amount charged as per Rs 149 bill plan also,

                            4) Isn't companies responsibility to inform the customer regarding the complaint resolution so that corrective action can be taken by customer,

                            5) Why company can only arrange collection calls but not the complaint resolution calls.


                            Moreover, my bill amount is still due and want confirmation that how n where it will get adjusted if I'll make the payment? I'm not ready to make the payment of additional amount charged without permission {late fee + amount charged during Rs 149/- plan}.

                            Provide your resolution so that I'll make mt a/c current and it will not effect my credit history.

                            Also please ask them not to make collection calls bcoz it's not possible to explain all the details again n again to every new caller.

                              I am constantly getting missed call from the number [protected]. Seems like this is a number from Pakistan and don't know why i am getting missed call like this. I don't have anyone in Pakistan and why they want to give missed call to me. Kindly look into the matter.

                                I have a fixed landline connection [protected].I received a bill of Rs 1122/- for billing period from 26th July 2012 to 25th August 2012.My landline was not working from 2nd August to 10th August 2012,which mean there is no outgoing or incoming call for the said period from my landline no.But surprisingly when I got the call details along with my bill I got shocked to see that there are so many calls during the period when my no. is not working.It all shows that airtel just levy the charges on average basis.It was quiet shocking to see the call details for the period when connection is not working......AIRTEL .........A BIG FRAUD COMPANY
                                I am still waiting for any solution from Airtel india...

                                  My Reliance no: [protected]. I applied for MNP from Reliance CDMA prepaid to Airtel. I received a SMS from Airtel and from 1901 on 18th August 2012 that my application is under process. As on 4th September 2012 the number is not ported to Airtel.
                                  I called Airtel 121 they told they dont know anything about my MNP application.

                                  Can any one help in lodging a complaint or knowing the status of MNP??

                                    My Name is Vineeth and my Airtel no is[protected]. Mobile no is [protected].

                                    I'm having the broadband connection almost a year. But one simple change Airtel are not able to do.

                                    I have made a simple request to change my mail Id in their records. They also changed but I'm not receiving only the bill in that ID. Other than that I'm receiving their adv mails.

                                    This is from last March. Still I have not received the bills.

                                    Every month they call me for the payment and I usually make that with the late payment fee for the last 7 months.,

                                    This time I had stopped the payment requesting the bill. That too they are unable to provide me.

                                    From last month my connection was disconnected due to non-payment.

                                    ALL I NEED IS THAT AIRTEL TO SEND ME THE BILLS TO [protected]@GMAIL.COM ID AND I'M NOT GOING TO PAY THE LATE FEE AND ALSO THE PAYMENT FOR WHICH I HAVEN'T USED THE BROADBAND FROM LAST MONTH AND I NEED THE CONNECTION IMMEDIATELY...

                                    I have requested several times for the broadband disconnection for my connection no.[protected] but instead of acting upon my request they are not disconnecting instead the company is sending their bills of exorbitant amount.Recently I have again requested for disconnection on 27th & 28th of December'2010 for which I have been provided request reference number 41314236,As I am sheduled for my journey to North on 31st of Dec;2010 .
                                    Kindly take action before 31st Dec;2010.

                                      I downloaded a free application from nokia n8, and then unistalled it, automatically a link got open up, and my balance was deducted by 99. A Message from AT-AIRINF came "Thanks for [protected]@Rs_Game from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 99.

                                      I do not want this transaction to happen and want this transaction to be stopped and want my Rs. 99 back.

                                        my sim card no. [protected] which i have been using for the past 5 years has been rejected because i didnt use it for 3 months only, now the customer care people are saying that nothing can be done , this no. has been deleted from the companies database , even they say main branch cannot solve this issue. i was out of town for 1 or 2 months for which i could not use the no. , but still no message or call from the companies side came to me to remind me of this issue , simply they rejected the simcard and it is too rude action taken by the company towards an old and loyal customer. now the problem is i'm running a buisness and many of the clients are aware of this no. only, i cant afford to loose the customers as they are exhausted trying to call me on this no. i am very much worried regarding this matter and hoping to get this matter resolved. my emailid- [protected]@gmail.com
