I got my post paid connection converted to prepaid at the Airtel gallery situated in Lokhandwala, Andheri west on 25th Aug. 2012 for [protected]. I submitted all documents/proof of residence, photo and forms. I was told my services will resumed after 24 hrs.After my service remained disconnected, I visited Gallery again because no one from Airtel could confirm my request. After no. of calls and lot of harrasment I had to go to Gallery again situated far away from my house and place of work where it turned out to be that all I had to do was to recharge with a voucher of Rs. 47 without talk time. I did that and my connection started.
Altthough I had submitted all forms/ photograph/address proof and outstanding amount on 25th itself. Now I get a sms saying my documents are not received! I have to go back to Gallery otherwise my service will discontinue!!
This is most ridiculous. Inspite of being a post paid connection holder, inspite of submitting documents I should run around all over again!!!
Guys in Airtel dont know anything except to repeat like a parrot!
I am shocked to know that they dont even know how to deal with a customer and just hang up when one complains.
I will go to Consumer Forum if my services are affected as this is the only life line for me.
I have never seen more ignorance in any other telephone service provider than airtel..
Can you please talk to these people and sort the problem

PS as I write this I get a call from one ms. Rajni Sharma from Airtel to enquire about my complain. She repeats that I should go to that gallery again otherwise my service will be disconnected. She hangs up when I ask for her supervisor.

Airtel customer service saying we have intimated by sms. however your inbox may be full i[censored] not get the sms. Actually these Companies collecting byforce such type of money from customers.     My Airtel phone no is [protected]

    I could not send any SMS to any phone number or even to customer care.

    There is no problem in phone or its settings, because if I change the sim card, it is workig.

    The error message is coming as

    Message sending Failed Try again later.

    The above problem is existing for about 4 months.

      Sir, I am a regular user of Airtel My Mobile no.[protected] since 2010.Today at10.47 am I got a miss call from[protected]. I did not guess about this miss call ,so I rang the number flashed on my mob.in miss call. From other side I was told that some Mr. Rajveer from AIR TEL speaking and informed me that I had won Rs.25 lac lottery from AIRTEL customer’s Mob.nos. for getting this you just call mr.akash in mumbai at no. [protected]. it is fraud than I want to take some action from your side because some want to take benefit of your esteemed organization and may cheat some innocent persons on your behalf. Kindly, draw the kind attention of your higher officers so that appropriate action may be taken against such fraud person who is defaming you Good Name. I shall be a good witness in this matter. Pl. reply me soon.

      There were calls from[protected] about AIRTEL lottery.

      We have informed the same to airtel call center and asked them to block such calls specifically from this ISD code.

      The service provider says that he would charge for the same that too ten numbers fro INR 30/-.

      Request you to suggest the way forward.
      Today i receved call from no [protected] name mr rajesh bala . He informed me that he is airtel company ssecretary. And my number has been selected for 25lac lottery. And i have to give him my bank account no so company will trancefer my 25lac in my account. Buy i think this is a fake call. So why company not taking sny strict sction on duch act.

        Hi,

        I am an airtel fixedline customer and I am harassed from your customer care services:

        1) I have raised a complaint to change the bill plan in the month of May-> It was not completed where as I have been assured that it will be completed in 5 days
        Suffering to customer : I have to pay 1 n half month bill as per old bill [Rs 700 went extra from my pocket].
        2) Security money was not adjusted in my 1st and 2nd month bill : Acc. to company norms it should have been adjusted in the first bill itself. I continuously followed with airtel customer care and due to delay in issue resolution it lead to late fees payment.
        3) I am being charged for DSL usage charges from last 2 months : I am not using your PC secure so why I am being charged for the same and why late charges are added to my bill when wrong bill is generated from airtel and customer care does not address the customer problem.

        Today I called airtel broadband customer care[protected].The call went for half an hour and your customer care representative did not addresses to my issue and finally disconnected the call.

        Request you please help me to adjust my late fees charges + DSL usage charges for the last bill.

        Please let me know if you need any further details from my end.

          we have already submitted the necessary document in gallery, they told us to activate the no. in next four hour

          we bought two airtel postpaid connections on 21 april 2009 from main branch of barnala(PUNJAB)

          1.)both of these numbers had add-on scheme with it.but we can't access this facility, moreover when we call each other from these numbers, the numbers found to be not existing.
          2.)outgoing is properly working BUT incoming is not available for all other callers except airtel.
          3.)customer care tell us that our numbers are not activated while we are using the outgoing

          This is to inform you that we had installed the Airtel connection on May 2009, since then we are facing a lot of problem.At least 20 times our internet is not worked and also 6/7 times our telephone connection not worked.As on today our phone / internet is not working. We made a complaint on 26th May Complaint No.33134314.

          Being an office this has not only been extremely inconvenient for us, we have suffered loss in terms of work time. We have also had to spend a lot of money getting and using alternate broadband connection / Data cards. And another thing is the landline No. s has been given to our clients. Our landline is also not working still now and this is extremely inconvenient for us.

          Please check the status and do needful.

            I am in Coimbaore and using Airtel Recorder Digial TV since 8 months. My customer id is [protected]. I have registered my complaint 1 month ago and Airtel executives were visited multiple times to my place just for 150 rs. In this one month, I have paid one month rent and 4 times to airtel executives without any use. Every day i am calling Airtel customer care and Airtel Office in Coimbaore, but there is no proper assistance. They saying that, We don't know what is the problem and we are analyzing it. I am wondering, this is not a critical rocket science for fixing the issue takes more than a month. Please do the needful to resolve the issue or you guys can say that we are not fully qualified providers to solve all kind of problems. If so, I can move to some valuable DTH and come out from worthless place.

            The actual issue is, i able to see only two channels from airtel DTH and other channels are showing error code : 4. I have enough balance and south pack channel subscription.

              Rip Off after Pre-Paid to Post Paid...Imposed Bill of Rs. 1100 by Airtel...Phone [protected]

              I was happy with this Pre-Paid connection for close to 10 years. I had good control on the related expenses with pre-paid. Was lured into Post by for free by Airtel.

              The sad part is that I asked for Internet package of Rs. 98 on start of the Post paid. Yet AIrtel has imposed an Internet usage bill of Rs,1100.

              I have been following up with them for last 2 weeks, yet they have not done anything on it so far. Highly disappointed by such lack of concern for customer.

                This phone was dead for over 2 weeks. It has started working now. The engineer took more than 3 hours to sort out the internet issues, yet the internet is not working yet.

                AIRTEL....you may enjoy it, but customers don't want to wait weeks, that is soon going to turn into month to sort out these basic issues. Fix it or take it away, we don't want it to be a pain it has become.

                DEAD ...NEW CONNECTION...ON FOR ONE DAY ONLY...[protected]...OR[protected].
                [protected]...OR[protected].....Phone not working for last 2 weeks.


                I applied for this new connection. The phone is not working for last 2 weeks and not action is taken at all by airtel, what is goig on here? Can someone let me know please?

                  i was told that in my postpaid connection i will get 600 minutes free minutes and rental will be 199/-
                  but i charged for extra calls and SMS it cost me 3600
                  which is not correct
                  so i want to change my connection to vodafone
                  because instead of listening to my complaint they sent me a Summon from court which is worng .

                    This is with reference to the latest bill I have received for my mobile number [protected] where I have been charged UNDULY for Internet services for which I have never subscribed to.

                    The bill contains charges for Rs. 1768.70/- for 2G and 3G services and I have NOT consented to activate any of the services. In addition, the highly uncooperative behaviour of the Airtel staff (in particular Mr. Rajesh Kamal, Supervisor) is very disappointing to say the least. The response I got from Airtel was that we had ACTIVATED SERVICE WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT in December 2011 and so you are being charged. This amounts to undue harassment on the part of Airtel and blatant disregard for rules laid down by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

                    Upon repeated calls to Airtel customer care, Mr. Rajesh Kamal, Supervisor informed me in a very high handed manner that he was unable to help me with regards to my complaint and it was not Airtel's duty to seek consent from my end for activation of these services

                    I have not given any consent to activate these services on my mobile number.

                    AirTel — Activation of Services without information

                    I am using airtel prepaid connection from a long time. All my family members are using telecom services by airtel. But we find it very annoying when some services like Jyotish or Night Radio etc. are activated on our cell and without our choice, by itself. On calling customer care services they claim that we have made those choices and the balance deducted from our account is right. On inquiring about those calls they refuse to give us info and put on hold for a long time then disconnect.
                    I want to know how can I get my lost balance back and refuse forever the service calls and msgs from the company. Their DND service also fails to prevent this.
                    It was not one or two time but its a regular practice by them on our different no.s.

                    I am fade up of this service Airtel.They are really sucking their customer. They activated their services in my no. themselves and charged every time I recharge my phone no.they are really harassing their consumer.

                    I am unable to put it in words that how frustrating Airtel can be! I have been complaining about the automatic activation of cricket updates on my number [protected], but this hasn't stopped yet! I have lost so much of amount because of this service that airtel has imposed on me unilaterally. Although I got a response from their official email but it seems that the people in their customer care do not have appropriate knowledge. They would keep on saying that it won't happen but it happens every single time! They would only reimburse the money sometimes when I shout at them on phone but they do not have a permanent solution!

                    Once they reimburse, within few days this again happens and money gets deducted from my balance. This malpractise only suggests that Airtel is nothing but a bunch of cheaters!!
                    Hello, where are we on this issue? Receiving cricket updates after every 10 minutes is really frustrating!

                    Airtel has activated friends chat service on my mobile phone without my permission.. also they have activated valentine day service service on my phone without my permission. I called them to stop all stupid services on my phone that time I came to know that frirnds chat service has been activated on my phone from last threee months and they were charging me Rs. 1 per day..this is not at all acceptable.

                      Amount loss/claim: Rs 255/-
                      I activated the airtel 3g 1gb pack on 31,July,2012. And the service was good for the first 15 days. The problems started after 15 days after the activation. I was getting browsing speeds of 0kbps - 5kbps, which is worse than 2G. I called the airtel customer care to troubleshoot the problem and shockingly their solution was to restart the phone, which ofcourse didn't work. When I tried to call them back I was shocked to see that my number was blocked by them. Whenever I tried to reach them my call was disconnected. And the problem is not solved till date and my monthly validity has expired. Sir it is my humble request that you look in to this matter and hope you deliver justice to me.

                      Airtel — Worst Poor Bad customercare

                      Airtel is doing poor customer care service. They are not like to go with good business and they need only big turn of business.
                      Still no response from the airtel team. Worst carrier ever !!!

                        My balance had been deducted after two consecutive top ups. I had never opted for any scheme and airtel is charging for it. I had tried contacting the customer care but they had not given any satisfactory response to me. Either there number remains busy or if the executive picks up the call then they keep the call on hold and it gets disconnected after sometime. Such bad behaviour with the customers can not be entertained.
                        I want my deducted balance back and i also want the service ( which i had not asked for and i dont know about) to get deactivated so that i dont need to call this poor customer care service.

                          we purchased Airtel Broband Service on 16.10.,2011 .We had paid Rs.5391/- to companies Repreentative.As per yearly plan of company I had to make 9 months payment at Rs.599/- and three months will be free,
                          as explained by companies Representative.Still One Year is not over and
                          company demanding 846.91 from 27.07.2012. We made various Compalints regarding this harressment from the Company.We also talk with Companies Billing Manager Mr.Sameer on 24.08.2012.Mr.Sameer infromed us that due to wrong feeding in their Computer(i.e.insted of yearly they feed monthly cycle.) due to this reason such confusion arises

                            I had broadband which i used till September, 2011 and surrendered the connection and paid all the undue amount at airtel guy came collected by giving receipt(no:7264733and 7516635). Airtel guy also wrote on the bill “This line is permanently surrendered and disconnected” .

                            After that I was continuously getting bill every month. Several times I contacted with Airtel Customer Care but they said my connection is still active. Last few weeks I started getting call from airtel CRM saying that I have to pay unbilled amount(Rs 4969.71) which is completely false because i was not using connection anymore. I have informed CRM that I have surrendered the connection and have paid all the bills..But continuously I have been getting calls from airtel CRM for the same issue in spite of me explaining the things...

                            Last few days I am getting call from Airtel Legal Dept saying that legal case has issued against me and they will be sending letter soon.

                            I had also contacted with Biplab Saha(Mobile# [protected]) at Airtel office Kolkata(mentioned in the letter) and as per his request I sent mail with all details. Unfortunately I have not received any responses.

                            I explained everything regarding my payment and surrendered but they are not listening anything. Airtel people are just escalating this issue and harassing me constantly.

                            I am thinking of issuing legal notice and police complaints against airtel guys for constant harassment for this...I need help regarding this.

                              i have a mobile no [protected] which i port into airtel on 24-aug-12,but there is unfare deduction in balance whenever i call on any no.My current tariff plan is 1p/2sec but there is deduction of 30-40 paisa for 10 or 9 sec.
                              i complaint on customer care and they disconnect my call after hold.and currently they block my mobile number
                              to connect with customer care from past 4 days.

                                Hello Sir,
                                I need your help. I have been targeted and harassed by Airtel. This is related to the Airtel Postpaid Mobile connection that I am using.

                                There where two different scenario's wherein I was committed wrongly.

                                The first one starts here. I had wanted to activate the SMS pack on my Airtel postpaid services. Being a customer I called the Airtel Customer care team. I was committed that the 1paise SMS would be activated on my number, which was not done and later on I was charged for the same. After a long follow and continuous struggle with the Nodal officer team, wherein they didn't call me anytime I have to call them always, I was provided with the waiver of Rs300. I was even not intimated about the waiver amout with any explanation, just got an SMS saying the "Waiver Adjustment has been done to your account"
                                I was being charged for the SMS charges for approximately three months i.e. three billing cycles. However, the waiver what I got was just for one particular month for which it was passed. Later on I was also informed by the Nodal office team (Through the only call that they made during the entire scenario) that my postpaid services are not eligible for any sms pack being cooperate plan.

                                The calculation for the waiver amount and the billing cycle's are still pending.

                                Now About the second and major scenario, what make me to mark you an E-mail. At the time when I had requested for the SMS services on the same day I had also requested to activate the Internet (Data service) on my postpaid number, the Airtel customer care team provided me with the wrong information.
                                This was an 1GB data plan, cost around Rs 98 per month. I was again provided with the wrong information by Airtel customer care team like whenever, I shall exceed with the 90% of the free data usage I would be getting an intimation message that the data services on my device are in proportionate to exceed. This was told me multiple times whenever I use to call to know about the data usage details.
                                I was make assured that I will get the intimation message.

                                This took me to the part of trouble. I used my data service for the entire month depending on the wrong information that I will surely get an SMS as soon as the data pack exceed to 90%, as committed by Airtel team.

                                However, I didn't received any of such intimation/ Message. This resulted in exceed in my data usage, which took place due to wrong information provided by Airtel customer care team executive. My monies are more important to me than data service, if aware and provided with proper info I would have not activated this services or took a precaution while using the same. I was charged for the data usage which was exceeded due to wrong information provided by Airtel customer care team executives multiple times (Amount Rs 3000)

                                Next step that I took I approached to the nodal officer team (Spoke with Ekant Sharma on 26th July 2012). My concern here was why should I pay for the amount which has been charged to me due to wrong information provided by Airtel executive. It make me feel really very bad that the nodal officer executive was not ready to accept there fault. He directly offered me with the waiver of Rs 500 without looking and working on the issue. It was like I was being charged Rs 3000 for Airtel fault/ wrong information and showing a kind favor done by providing waiver of Rs 500 from the same. I had a long conversation for one hour with the Nodal officer team which again is a paid number to make him understand to work the issue than provide with the solution, as I was aware it's not my fault but returned with negative feed back. Again loss of energy, time and monies as the number called (Nodal officer) is again a paid number.
                                I was being told and mentally tortured saying that I will have to provide with the Name, Date and time details of the Airted customer care executive whom I had spoke with. The most important thing what a person dont remember or doesn't make a note of it. Instead of me asking question and getting the solution, they nodal officer executive started questioning me about this silly things. This was nothing but just a way to torture. It was also told like the Airtel team do not keep a customer call conversation records for more than one month and there is no such message which a customer get on exceeding 90% of the data usage. I was shocked to hear this.

                                Finally I approached to the appellate officers (Spoke with Mr. Ravindra on 1st August 2012) for this. Here it was different thing as soon as I explained the issue I was been told that I would be providing with Rs 1000 as the waiver. I requested them to study the issue. I was being told to know more about the issue I will have to provide with the same details (Name, Date and time details of the Airted customer care executive whom I had spoke with and the one who had committed me this thing). There was also again a criteria set that if in case, the appellate officers found me guilty in this scenario after barring the requested call then I would not get with the Rs 1000 amount waiver as well. Same thing also repeated, Airtel team do not keep a customer call conversation records for more than one month and there is no such message which a customer get on exceeding 90% of the data usage. I was shocked to hear this

                                I kept quite, as I understood the way of airtel trying to make money for customers.

                                After a couple of day's, I call the Airtel customer care team back again as a fresh customer who wants to know about the service and add on facilities provided. This time I got the proof the Airtel customer care executive (Mr. Irfan Shaikh on 12th August 2012) who responded my call provided me with the same in correct information. He told me that all the customer's get an intimation message as soon as 60% to 70% of the data usage of the internet is done and SMS pack would be activated. He also committed that the call conversation between a Customer and Airtel customer care executive is saved on permanent basis, no matter how much years pass. Records are there. Unfortunately, I told him to activate the required SMS wherein he got the ans that this pack is not eligible for my services. He told me about that but failed on data services and call conversation part.
                                This time I worked smart. I recorded the entire conversation on my mobile as well.
                                Next day I again called appellate officers (Spoke with Mr. Harbinder on 13th August 2012) and inform them about this. It was my turn,to be frank I had a mess with them, as I had a proper proof this time for which I was harassed as well as mentally tortured. I asked for the entire bill to be waived off (Rs3600 including voice/ sms charges which previously I was ready to pay) as a compensation for my mental harassment, energy and time utilized as well as the charges to which where applicable for the time whenever I had conversations with the Nodal officer and appellate officer paid numbers.
                                The guy appellate officer Mr. Harbinder the most irresponsible person, asked TAT timing for 72 hours to get the issue fix, to find the solution. After that no follow up call, no update call till today. I have also tapped this call conversation as well for a proof with me.


                                Its like I have to call this people on the appellate officers paid number, wait on a hold explain the issue again to new executive and then respectively listen to them (We will arrange a call back from Appellate officer Mr. Harbinder) in next two hours as well as audit team are working on my issue. They are nearby and I would get the solution in next 48 working hours, which failed. Mr. Harbinder never called up neither I got any solution as committed/ informed by appellate team.

                                Finally today, I had a word with a lady in Appellate office Miss Smita who arrange for a call back from Mr. Harbinder. Mr. Harbinder provided me with new commitment, trust me which will never come up too. These people will start up with new reason's. He told that I would be getting a solution on 20th September.



                                Sir I need your help, I don't want to use this Airtel postpaid services any more. I shall go for number portability to any of other service provider or migrate my services to Airtel prepaid as soon as possible.
                                Please help me to do this out as soon as possible and take a legal action again all this people.

                                Sir why shall I suffer due to this people, literally I have call up to know the status while wetting in the rain, as this irresponsible people doesn't call back.
                                My number is very important and using this from past more that 6 years, recently in the month of April I portable it to Airtel from Reliance. The biggest mistake what I did. It is spread among all my friend and Business activities.

                                Why should I pay or continue with this bad experienced services due to there mistake or delay in call audit. Even I am not aware when my services would be barred and number get terminated, as my last two bills are skipped to be paid due to this.
                                Why a person should pay for this kind of circumstances with such a large amount.

                                "Ye Airtel sab zabardasti ka kaam kar raha hai. Bina wajaj logo ko pareshaan kar raha hai. Jinkey pass waqt nahi wo to itni baag daud bhi nahi kar payenge. Sirf paise banabey ka jariya hai"

                                I hope, I have reach to the proper stage and shall get an out come of this.

                                Airtel India — wrong info and wrong commitments nw i want my plan back

                                if anybody listen at airtel!!!

                                My campus plan was about to expire on 28th jan 2011, so i called ur cusomer executive n he told me to recharge with Rs 110/- to pursue the same plan, so i did the same. But my plan was changed too sumthing else n didnt continue the campus plan so i complained about this to ur 198 (complaint no. cbnra[protected]) n was told that the plan would be reverted back to campus on 1st feb 2011 at 12pm, but it still not done n ur executive is asking me to recharge with Rs96/- again as wrong info was given before.

                                Y shud i do it again? When u ppl made the mistake y shud i pay for it?

                                  i've made internet payment on 12-07-12 for annual subscription of Rs.2506/ for south value sports package.
                                  On 19-08-12 i mailed to customer care to disconnect & refund me the balance as i've plans to go abroad.
                                  They replied stating that a/c balance is only Rs.53/- & they won't refund the paid amount.Either we've to use it/forger the balance.The such terms &conditions of refund are not there in their website & had it been there i would not ,ve opted to pay the full annual amount.Also the customer relationship form under payment sl.no.15(1) says on daily usage basis the paid amount will be deducted .further refund terms are not there in that form.despite mailing all these to them still they refuse to calculate it on daily usage/burn-up rate basis,norm of this industry,&say Rs.53/- is the balance. They 've all protection for their money in the relationship form but customers money &right are taken for granted & customer is taken for a ride.It is totally unfair trade practice.when we cancel train journey/bus journey ,we are refunded as per the rules but they don't deny refund.But airtel/digital follows a unfair
                                  policy of living on the customers money.
                                  Hence i request your office to make airetel/digital to maimtain a/c balance as per daily usage/burn-up rate basis.

                                  sir, i migrate my postpaid no.to prepaid i purchase a new sim from airtel showroom worth rs 46 for lifetime period. but after 2 days no. shows only 7 days validity, then i purchase 1 more voucher of rs 13 from mkt then after i ll get the validity. after that i recharge my no. rs 525 and get the full talk time , but there is no information that this is only for one month. this is chiting with customer.

                                    Hi,

                                    I have prepaid connection of Airtel. My tariff is 1/2 paisa per second. These days its not been followed. I have been experiencing this problem 3rd time. If I call for 30 mins, 28 Rs. has been deducted.
                                    If I call customer care, some one received my call and asked me to wait for few secs, but call was cut immediately. Afterwards, I tried calling 6-10 times, call was getting cut!

                                    I have been observing this problem many a times. I feel AIRTEL operators are money looters. They never respond properly and unknowingly enable unwanted services just loot money.
                                    Will my problem be solved or not?? If required, shall I file a complaint against these looters?? I am ready file a complaint.
                                    Please suggest. And if possible acknowledge my complaint.

                                      If you dont want to satisfy that customer then how you are one of service provider tell me sir, once i lock call from customer care guy they told me u will get eng visit with in 5 days that is also right but as per your 5 days means 1month = 1 day ,why eng visit is not done, and if i call in ahmedngar section the mobile no [protected] is not answering the call and one more mobile no: [protected] is also promised me from last month is that definately your issue will resolve but when and why that he don't know.
