charging unnecessary to various facilities
I have been charging for jokes subscription, which I never asked, it is embarassing, I already once given complaint one year back, again they have started same thing, I am using Airtel prepaid services from last 4-5 years. This should be stopped immediately, I have been activated don't disturb facility, how the airtel commercial services messages receiving. Do the needful immediately.

    I want to complain against airtel unnecessary they r sending massage and active massage from it self and deduct money without asking customer. i all ready send massage as per air tel customer given no "DO NOT DISTURB" AND I all ready registered my mobile no still they r deduct money. from my account. Please take necessary action and I do not want to receive any messages of Airtel. My mobile No. is [protected]

      I have taken a new Airtel Prepaid Connection ([protected]) on 11th August 2012 from Kolkata. Now today (28.10.2012) i woke up and found "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED" on my mobile. I tried calling from another mobile it says "THIS NO DOSENT EXISTS". I called up customer care thay said " THIS NUMBER HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR LAST 6 MONTHS HENCE THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN BLOCKED, YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE A NEW CONNECTION". I fail to understand what is my fault. I have even recharged for Rs 200 on 12th August 2012.
      Pls look into the matter and resolve ASAP. It's affecting my business a lot.

      They called me and activated the sim again, but i converted to post paid, as they said such incidents can repeat again in pre paid conn.

      Airtel — No. stop working

      I was using a airtel postpaid no. [protected] from 2005 and then i convert my no in prepaid on nov 2009, and on 30th dec 2009 it stopped working. when i asked about it from airtel officials they told me to submit the documents again and did the same, and no action taken against my complains in airtel.
      but no. didn't work.
      i want the reason why my no. stopped working.

      I have heard that pre-paid sim dont work in jammu-kashmir. Actually my friend will be goin there and so want to know what is the actual problem and what solution can be done for this for my friend because connectivity is required.

        this is ishu from delhi. i am using Airtel prepaid no in patna. yesterday message came from customer care "thanks for starting service hello tunes . you are charged 30 Rs. then i tried to call customer care for quire they further charge me 15 rs. for selecting song aye jawan. i don't know when i hv selected this song.

        it is sophisticated way of cheating.

        anyone can guide what to do now. How can i get my money back now and in future also.

          Dear Airtel

          I have sent several emails in the 10 days about this matter but it was not sorted out by your organization.

          I have been using this number for close to 10 years and for my internet connection mostly used Rs. 98 monthly package.

          I was offered to change this number from Pre-paid to Post paid end of last month. I took the offer and got most of my credit back. Though I lost on part of the internet package and Certain International calling packages I have subscribed to last month.

          When this number was migrated to post paid I visited Airtel office in Noida and asked the representative there to activated 2G Rs. 99 month Internet package and was told that this service has been activated. I started using the internet on this number post paid only after this visit. Later on I came to know there’s some confusion and the same is not showing in the system. I visited the office again on August 13, 2012, the representative called Airtel and confirmed me that the service is activated on my number.

          When I got the phone bill I was shocked to see close to Rs. 1000 is charged for internet for about 10 days. I want to inform you that on my part I did everything on active the Rs. 99 2G package and started using the phone after talking to your office.

          You are request to fix the problem at your end ASAP and let me know the new amount to pay for pending bill.

                On 10 Aug 2012 I have decided to to port my Airtel number([protected]) to other vendor due to Network and other issues .I sent message on 1900 and I received my Unique Porting ID (AX358768)on 10th Aug, 2012 from 1901 .It's been 18 days till now nothing has been done from Airtel apart from bombardment of calls from "Airtel Retention Department"In between my Porting ID got expired and now they generated new porting ID :- AX737876.

                I haven taken this SIM 2+ years back and now Airtel is using delaying tactics by telling me that they unable to track the details of my SIM and asking me to submit the scanned copy of the bill of the SIM purchased along with the name of Airtel ReltaionSHip Centre from where I have purchased the SIM .How can Airtel harass the customer by asking these details after 2+ years ? .As per TRAI guidelines MNP porting should be done in 07 days but even after 18 days nothing has been done from Airtel ?

                I have following questions from Airtel :-

                Please tell me the specific date on which you PORT OUT my number ?


                In between I have rasied numerous calls with Airtel Nodal Officer,Apellate Authority,Airel Presence,Airtel - 121 but nothing has been done .

                AirTel — MNP NOT DONE BY AIRTEL.

                DEAR SIR/MADAM,

                I AM CUSTOMER OF AIRTEL , MY MOBILE NO. IS [protected] , AND I WANT TO PORT OUT FROM AIRTEL AND WANT TO PORT IN TO AIRCEL. I HAD GIVEN REQUEST FOR PORT OUT IN AIRCEL ON[protected] AND I HAD CLEARED MY PREVIOSU BILL AND ALSO PAID EXTRA Rs 100/- SO I DONT FACE ANY PROBLEM FR PORT OUT. I HAD SEND MESSAGE FOR UPC ON[protected] AND SAME DAY I SUBMITED FORM IN AIRCEL AND GAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTS. I GOT 4-5 TIMES CALL FROM AIRTEL AS TO Y AM I PORTING OUT AND ALL , BUT I TOLD THEM THAT I DONT LIKE THE SERVICE AND WANT TO SWITCH OVER TO AIRCEL AND TO HAND OVER MY NUMBER TO AIRCEL. I SO MANY TIMES GAVE COMPALINT TO AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE FOR PORT OUT BUT TILL NOW THEY ARE SAYING THAT IT IS UNDER PROCESE. I ALSO CONTACTED AIRCEL AND VISITIED THEIR CUSTOMER CARE OUTLET , BUT THEY ARE SAYING THAT AIRTEL IS NOT GIVING PORT OUT OF NO. AND NOT CLOSING THE SERVICE AND THAT THEY ARE NOT HANDING OVER TO THEM.

                HENCE NOW I HAVE COME TO KNOW THAT AIRTEL DOES NOT WANT TO PORT OUT MY NO. IN FEAR OF LOOSING THE CUSTOMER AND THAT THEY ARE DOING IT PURPOUSLY.

                I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE TAKE UP THIS THING OF AIRTEL TO TRAI AND MAKE A COMPLAINT REGARDING THEM.

                  I am a customer of Airtel DTH. For over 2 years now. One thing thy I can say that I have not seen a worse company than Airtel. On previous several counts they have have not paid me back mobey for my service not being operational for days and weeks. But the latest incident has been the worst I have experienced so far. I ordered a new connection for a another room and inspire of ordering over the phone they made pay cash in advance saying that the installation will be done within 24 hours. I have a cash receipt of Rs 2190. But it's been a week and I spit of 10s of calls to their call centre and even escalating to Haryana Nodal centre, nothing has happened but a promise to install the next day which never comes. Please help me in this matter.

                  This is my second reminder of complaint that my airtel dth has not installed as i have given full payment to vriti infocom on[protected].
                  Haiii friends,

                  This is the mail to update you peoples how the AIRTEL is giveing service to the customers, As per my previous complaint a a guy called me in the early morning by 7 o clock from [protected] and he said that sir shall i come there and solve the problem i said when you are going to come he said in another half and hour and i will charge you 150/- Rs, i asked him what boss yesterday you have asked 300 and today you are askeing me 150? for that he replied being today is week day we used to give 50% discount he he he he see how they makeing the peoples fool.I said brother i dont want your service i already did the work with some other person (He is working for a different Network he asked me Rs50) Again a lady called me from [protected] and she said we will send our executive within this evening,

                  So to rectify a problem in AIRTEL DTH they need minimum of 5 working days to resolve the issue.

                  So My kind information to the public never take AIRTEL releated products theyll sucks.

                  i had a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad experience with Airtel DTH not only DTH iam useing their mobile connection, land line and internet even though they simply skip the customer quries.Some few days back i faced a problem in my DTH i called to their customer care[protected] you peoples never trust me, i tried some almost 20 times a day ill never get a line to contact them, by gods grace after several tries i got a appoinment (even u can easily get appoinment to meet our prime minster) to speak with their one of the customer care executive(useless executives) they asked so many questions before i placed my queiry(even the credit card banks never ask such questions, i hope in future they will ask us when u went for a loo and when u took bath) after a long hold they asked my quires, i said my problem that my DTH is not working properly like i can view only some 10 channels(for your information iam paying 285 per month) for that one of their customer care excutive said recently we lanched one satilite coz of that you facing this kind of problem it will be rectified automatically, i said ok .i raised the complaint on thrusday 24th march 2011 after noon 3 0 clock .But till friday eveing i faced the same problem again i start tried to contact their customer care after my 25 th try one executive(useless executive) attened my cal i said the same thing and i shouted why you peoples are not responding for my quries, he simply hungup the call, again i tried all the peoples huging up the cals just like that, i got pissed off.These useless executive least bother to answer my quires(i hope some airtel senior persons will look in to this forum for their information iam provideing here my customer id :[protected], if you have the access you can listen the recorded voice) Finnaly on satrauday i got a message from airtel we r sending our executive to ur location to resolve the problem and they gave one mobile number of nearest rude and bloody distributer [protected] he never picks the call finally he picked the cal on sunday morning and he is telling we will send our executive shortly, i waited till 12 noon againg i called after some 10 tries he picked the call and shouting at me and he is telling we cant do the service now its possible only on tuesday if you wish you can go and give complaint on me with any of the airtel head office(i think Airtel is giveing delearship only to the gunda"s) Being we are working peoples we will get a chance to see the T.v only on sundays but these peoples ruined my wholeday happiness.

                  may be some peoples or Airtel Staffs will think that he is a useless guy spending time on this and writeing this forum, even iam a cool guy and i will take all the matters very casualy but they make me to write like this and wastinng my precious time.Iam writeing this not to spoil their business atleast others get good service in future.Atlast i called up one of their executive who installed the DTH he came and rectified the problem and he charge me Rs300 for that, i asked him why you are charging more for this 5 mins work he told me that iam working on sundays and specia;y for you coz of that iam charging this much.He he he he i dono how to react.

                  HEY AIRTEL DONT GIVE ADVERTISEMENT THAT YOU ARE THE LEADING PEOPLES IN TELECOMUNICATION AND IN DTH.
                  FIRST TEACH YOUR CUSTOMER CARE HOW TO SOLVE CUSTOMER QUIRES AND HOW TO TALK WITH THE VALUABLE CUSTOMERS.

                    Hello Sir,
                    I bought a new Airtel SIM card(No.: [protected]) a few days back. 1-2 days after this purchase, I submitted all the required identity-proof documents to Seller

                    NETWATCH, Shop No.-14, Chinar Royale, Opp. Barkatullah University, Bhopal.

                    But still I got a call from Airtel about pending submission of documents. I enquired with the seller who assured me that it takes some time to reach Airtel office. After this confirmation, I activated my internet usage on SIM card as well recharged it for future use. Within 2-3 days, after sharing my new number with my relatives, I found my service disconnected. A significant amount was already in mobile's balance plus I had to stop my internet use which delayed many important work. I later inquired with local airtel office and they denied any submission of documents. Response from Seller was equally cold. They offered me new number but my recharge amount and internet payment was gone. This problem landed me into deep dissatisfaction about functioning of Airtel in recent days.

                    If there is a problem between seller and Airtel main office then why should consumer bear the brunt? Why couldn't this issue be sorted out between the seller and Airtel office? I am wondering how many people are being subjected to such cheating? I am not charging anyone here directly but I would like to say that Airtel's image has taken a dent in my perception.

                    Amount is not an issue but cheating customers by missing their documents is definitely a crime and those who are responsible should be punished.

                      My name is Mohd waseem I am using airtel number ([protected]) and this is a MAHARASTRA circle number.

                      I came to MADHAY PRADESH for official purpose. I have no balance in my airtel number so I call to my brother to recharge my number.

                      He will do the same, my brother visited a shop and recharge my no of 100 rupees, I have received the msg you have successfully recharge of 100 rupees.

                      But when I visited my main account and cheeked my balance then I have only 9 rupees and this is a previous balance. (Leave it)

                      Then I again call to my brother and again instruct to recharge my number, he will again do the same.
                      He visited a shop and again etop 200 rupees. I have received the msg you have sussefully recharged of 200 rupees.

                      I again visited to cheek my balance then I found I have only 9 rupees, this time I also not received any balance.

                      Sir,
                      This is totally cheat and I am not satisfied with the airtel this is a very poor service.
                      I have changed my no soon but before changing the number I want to refund my amount.
                      I need your intervention. Please do the needful I am expecting to all of you.

                      In maharastr circle when I recharge 100 rupees then I received 88 rupees but right now I have received 0 balance.

                      Please take this priority.

                        Airtel provided the service to me voice & 3G service with 1000/- Rs device and 700/- month, I have complained about data service may be around 50 times in 2 months, there is no resoultion for BAD SPEED. they say up to 3mbps, most of the times I got starting 5kbps, very fluctuating.
                        some one from customer care said if they can't fix it they will waive the bill amout until they resolve the issue.
                        Now they have disconnected both voice and Data.
                        they called me few times for payment, I referred to the above issues and asked them to atleast send me a bill so that I can see what they are charging on & what they waive off, there is not even single bill recieved so far at my address.

                        Some one calls my alternate number saying it is courier service and I have a courier need the address. they collected the address and home phone, then calling and threatening, saying police or something like that.

                        I would like to register complaint against Airtel for this reckless behaviour. also let me know what rights I have to legally register complaint.

                        Airtel India — Deactivation without notification

                        I have a prepaid connection from Airtel India in my name for which I had duly completed formalities and submitted ID proof in 2006. My address was verified by Airtel by one of their staff visiting my house. I have been using this phone for the last three years. Without any intimation whatsoever the phone was barred as on 14 Mar 2009. After a few tries, when I finally could get to speak to their customer care, I was told that the connection was deactivated by them due to the failure of address verification!!! I tried to explain to them the facts and as per their advice resubmitted the ID proof at their customer care center. The customer care had promised that the phone would be activated in 2hrs after submitting the proof. But the center which accepted the proof says that it will take two days. The above incident clearly demonstrates Airtel India's lack of dedication and utter lack of customer care. I feel that the term customer care is a misnomer and should be changed to Customer abuse.                         Airtel India — Poor Service and reckless behavior

                        I have a prepaid connection from Airtel India in my name for which I had duly completed formalities and submitted ID proof in 2006. My address was verified by Airtel by one of their staff visiting my house. I have been using this phone for the last three years. Without any intimation whatsoever the phone was barred as on 14 Mar 2009. After a few tries, when I finally could get to speak to their customer care, I was told that the connection was deactivated by them due to the failure of address verification!!! I tried to explain to them the facts and as per their advice resubmitted the ID proof at their customer care center. The customer care had promised that the phone would be activated in 2hrs after submitting the proof. But the center which accepted the proof says that it will take two days. The above incident clearly demonstrates Airtel India's lack of dedication and utter lack of customer care. I feel that the term customer care is a misnomer and should be changed to Customer abuse. Airtel in short is one of the worst mobile service providers in India. This can be seen from the number of complaints against Airtel India which can be viewed in this site. Down with Airtel.
                        The same thing also happened to me I have purchased one post paid connection under the number [protected] and i have paid all the amot without any default. Since the sim card pertaining to that number got virus and i have started getting some ugly messgages hence i have changed my sim card to a new number and i was informed by my local dealer that there is no arrears to that number. To, my surprise i have been continiously informed that there is an arrears of amount and this day i got disconnected the present number of[protected]. Till date my dealer is telling there no unpaid amt for the number [protected] and he has shown the compter page also showing NIL balance> Hence i request u to kindly look into the matter with top priority and arragne to reset the connection,
                        i got a prepaid connection 2 weeks back n suddenly d out-going has been barred from past 3 days...
                        its so ridiculous that ppl at d store dunno wy...!!!never thought airtel services sucks big time too..!!wen is my sim getting activated again..??

                          My Airtel Digital TV Recorder is not working from last week, i called Customer care they said problem will be solved in 24 hour. their executive came next day and said that its camera problem and promise to come next day with new camera and from then i am calling every next day 4-5 times, sometime they replies, some time they do not pick up my phone.

                            I tried an international call and it couldn't connect properly to the person who I want talk but my balance deducted as of ISD charge. When I asked CCE they were arguing me by saying you had talked with your friend.

                                telephone is out of order Tel [protected]
                                I have Airtel Telephone Connection with Broad Band connection.
                                My telephone Number[protected] from day it has been installed every third day it goes dead and after complaing also there is no response from company.

                                  With due respect, my name is Raju Barua, iam from jorhat assam and my airtel data card account number is [protected]. After purchasing this internet data card and post paid internet connection i came to know that my location is not feasible and i have immediately called one of your rep and they told me they will fix the issue but no one fix it however when i came to know that i have to pay first month bill and no exception so i have given the data card to one of my friend who used if for a few days than returned me when the very next month i tried to contact airtel to cancel my account they told me some of their rep will come to my home and check the connection .last week two of their rep came to home and they checked and came to know that its true that my location is not feasible however no one fixed the issue. And the bill keeps generating every month.This is completely a false advertisement and they should told me in advance that data cards are only good where you guys have tower coverage. And the worst thing is that one of their rep himself recharged my account with Rs99.00 on 13/07/12 without my permission his mobile number is [protected]. Because of this now again my connection is activated and bills keep generating and i am unable to use internet. You can check my account details it will show you zero usaged reason my location is not feasible and . My only request is that please allow me to surrender my internet connection and i should not pay the whole bill amount since i was not able to use the service also you need to give some punishment to these people one who sold the internet without checking the feasibility and the one who made a payment of Rs 99.00 without my permission.

                                  I have already emailed Nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com and appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com and than after 24 hours they contacted me via phone and said its fine i just need to pay Rs 2000 and they will permanently disconnect my connection so the very next day i have made the payment and inform them to disconnection my internet connection as promised but they said Rs 2000 is not enough i need to pay more Rs2600 which i feel not fair. So please someone help me they are just looting innocent customers...

                                  this is to complaint that inspite of getting my sim card disconnected on 8 th of feb 2010 in my lokhandwala airtel gallery (andheri-west) from where i got the same card from anwar and swati i am still receiving the bills for the same,i went to my airtel gallery and spoke to now bhushan he checked into the matter and told me to complian on this,look into the matter immediately and revert the charges and stop sending me any further billsas the card is not in use and discontinued from 8 th feb 2010,my airtel no is [protected].

                                    I am getting missed calls from the number "[protected] and[protected]". He / She is often calling me and didn't speak anything. If I tried to connect the number he / she is not responded to my call. The missed calls disturbed me very much. During my office hours also I am getting this kind of calls and it affect my works.
