sun — internet wiring

my friend home the connection sify internet in punjab ferozepur. but the services are very bad. really is too much bad. plzzz i request u again tajke care for sevices for customer. sir.last 2 months no replyy

20 days back i got sun dth connection. At tat time we had NDTV news..But for the 1 week NDTV news not coming. I tried customer care for the past 1 week ...says that number busy.

Please do the need ful and i want online user name & password for channels adding.

My inbox is always full with news sent from 54321. Perhaps i am chrged for this. I do not want to receive any more news.

Airtel — Unwanted SMS alerts

As a result of some contest, I am 'awarded' a spam message from AIRTEL's 55558 number. I have been receiving 5-6 Spam SMSs everyday & there is no way to stop that. I have tried sending all keywords like UNSUBSCRIBE, STOP, UNSUB etc. but there is no use.
Such services who con the customers for spam should be brought to books and severely punished. I am not sure how to stop this and so writing on this forum. Does anybody have any clue on this nuisance?

      i am airtel user and my no is +[protected](u.p). on 26, 28/2/09 and 2/03/09 i m surfing net on mobile and i get msg that u download a game cost of125 from airtel live wap but i m not download any game from anywhere.now my airtel bill is aproxly 428Rs.and download game cost is 375.but my actual bill wiil be 53Rs
      so plz action for this complain.

        I had subscribed yrly to airtel digitv Rs.2910/- economy package in 26thOctober 2011 and kept twice in safe custody 15 days n 3 months.where the non utilised period being extended by Airtel. However, now I am received SMS saying that my validity expiring within 5 days hence renew.
        ID No.[protected]. I had registered 2 complaints on line with company and they said within two days they will attend but more than 3 days Now pl advise me since they told me if you pay yrly subscription I will get 2 months extension accordingly I had paid .

        Airtel Digi TV — Complaint Successfully closed

        Without even installation being done....how is it that the complaint is sucessfully closed????




        For the last one hour your call centre executives are pretending that lines are not clear.
        So with a phoney accent they start saying HELLO HELLO and disconnect my call.
        Chandni,Ravi etc etc whatever psuedo names they call themselves....


        Incase Airtel is too busy they should let me know the same.... and incase service cannot be provided why not refund the money that you are sitting on??

        Hope your South African customers will be more understanding than we are in India.


        I have given request for reinstallation of Airtel digital TV at my new address in Bangalore.
        Each time I give a complaint a new complaint no is generated.

        Moreover after every call I am given a new appointment date & time
        . For the last three days( 2nd October to 4th October) I have been given atleast 10 different time slots.
        Neither is my request processed nor am i getting contact details of any authorised Airtel Service Engineer.
        This is simply harrassment by Airtel.
        ( Pl note that all payments regarding this connection IN ADVANCE has been made to AIRTEL).

        Airtel Digi TV — Additional Service Charges

        I got Airtel Digi Tv connection last year and I feel my self in cloud 9 after my first service call the exciting thing which I come to know " is for any service call I will be charged 100 Rs. As maintenance of Dish is customers responsibility and any error which requires visit of their guy there is an additional burden of 100 Rs straight away".

        Now this is good and I can say a very good to make money out of customer and to avoid any unnecessary service call, but these things should be informed to customer when they apply for the connection.

        Further One more strange thing for intial six months they wont charge any thing but after wards its all chargeable now again this is such a service which doesn't need to have such a warranty ideally the warranty should come as limited number of free service calls to customer rather than giving him a grace period of 6 months.

        And best thing is that even this is not informed to customer when they apply for the connection.

        No doubt this can be part be of their service agreement written any where in the document(with * attach to it and we all know the reason of such clauses) but these things should be specifically informed to customer as they informed like subscription charges which they don't do and this is a big cost which can come up later and the strange thing is that if you make 3 service call in a month this will exceed your monthly subscription.

        So overall an unfair one sided practice by airtel, might be other companies also doing it I don't know.

        Well I received call from customer care of Airtel now the issue is rather than understanding the problem the are narrowing it down to Visit Charge of 100 Rs.

        I dont't think they have good people to understand customer concern my advice to those who are coming in to their trap by paying advance rental for DTH services they rather think twice on it.
        Below is my response to their answer.

        Thanks for your note, well to be honest you are narrowing the concern to visit charges, well if this is the mindset Airtel has than I am afraid the company wont survive in competitive world as days of monopoly in this sector are over.

        The real concern which I raised is of information to the customer and any rational person could have understood what I tried to say in my communication.

        Now coming to monetary aspect you have enjoyed my entire month subscription w/o giving me any benefit out of it, did you ever thought as service provider if there is no services availed the money should be refunded?

        Well I am enjoying couple of other services from Airtel like my mobile and few others and these also I am going to switch over to other service provider.

          Airtel has the most pathetic service among DTH TV providers in Jaipur.

          I have this connection for the past one year and I have been consistently facing problems with the broadcast (Signal loss in fair weather when other DTH services are working perfectly fine)

          The money you have invested in buying the service is a total loss since there is no refund if you disconnect. (As per their terms and conditions, even the dish antenna and STB are owned by Airtel and they take it away of you disconnect.)

          Also, when I compare Tata Sky packages - I am paying more for a similar set of channels in Airtel than what I am in Tata Sky. Not that TSky is perfect, but it is miles ahead in terms of customer service and service quality as compared to Airtel.

          Sorry Airtel, you need to get your quality up and invest a little more in getting quality customer service personnel in place.

              I have been using airtel service since last 5 years, but from last 2-3 months i am facing a problem of wrongly deduction of money from my account.
              I use airtel internet service for which i use to recharge with Rs98 every month or as my package is over but instead of recharging with Rs 98 they charged me for the same from my main account and i lost Rs 80 for that and in last month also i have been wrongly charged for Rs 120 for the same and if i ask to give the details and refund me back my money they neglect it and try to give some baseless reasons such you have downloaded some package. so, i want justice against it and due to wrongly charged my balance were showing Rs0 and that same time i was in need to call and because of i dint make call and i have lost my important thing which was valued most for me so i want the lost amount of Rs10000 back and also the fair justice.
              Please help me out to sort out these problem.

              i had recharged with 999 superlifetime card on dec 01,2007. now instead of the promise of Re 1/- i m being charged Rs 2.25/-.i had contacted customer service hundreds of time but there is no response and no clarification received till date. if further i don't receive any clarification i will be compelled to go to consumer court. Is this the way the customers are satisfied!!
              i am using airtel card for the purpose of internet connection on my pc and not for any other purpose but i was beeing charged for the hello tune service of the company which i have not activated and when i am telling them to file a complian they are saying no your complain can not be file as it and they are saying that your money can not be return back as well although i have not subcribe for the service
              I AM USING THE AIR TEL LAST 5YEARS.BUT TILL DATE I HAD NO PROBLEM. SUDDENLY RS.100/- HAS BEEN DEDUCTED FROM MY BALANCE WITH OUT ANY REASON ON DATED 29th FEB AT 8.00PM. AND 2nd INCIDENT RS.50/-AGAIN DEDUCTED FROM MY BALANCE DATED ON 2nd march 2008 AT 6.00PM.SEVERAL TIMES I HAVE COMPLAINED IN THE CUSTOMER CARE BUT THERE HAS BEEN NO SATISFACTORY RESPONSE FROM THEM AND THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME PROPER ANSWER TO MY QUERY,WHY MY BALANCE HAS BEEN DEDUCTED.PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH ACCURATE EXPLANATION SUPPORTED BY FIGURES AT THE EARLIEST

              OTHER WISE I WILL BE COMPELLED TO TAKE THE MATTER WITH THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY AND CLAIM COMPENSATION FOR ALL THE GRIVENCES I HAVE GONE THROUGH.

              I am using airtl last 3 years. but today my balance deduct Rs. 15 dated on 10.10.08. I don't no why dedect my balance. when I contact to your customercare Bhawana she could not satisfied me. This is a single handed mobile and i am not activate any service but she said to me that your account has been activate from missed call. some days befor my balance dedect Rs. 28. and I Contact to customercare. and I request him for deactivated missed call. I said to you that in future don't activate any service in my mobile . Please send me answer in my e-mail address and return my balance and deactivate missed call. my mobile no.               dont trust airtel. They are bull-. Since last two months wenever i call airtel customer care. they always say that the money that was deducted wrongly from their side will be refunded. but they dont. they are thiefs. I rcvd a sms saying ' thanks fr downloading java game'. but i never did. and everytime i call, they say will be refunded. associates like- manoj, chirag, and who the ... Associates have no information. they keep on hold fr lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time and wen are unable to answer then cut the lines. even these associates have no dignity. Airtel is a company where customer is and her/ his problem is given no consideration... such a company should be shut down.
              I'm using [protected] mobile number since 28th october 2005 as a corporate connection. It is used to expire on every 27th october. I have made payment for one year advance rental of Rs. 1198 last year which has been expired on 27th october 2008.
              After that i have received too many calls for renewal payments but i have asked him that i want to convert it in prepaid in place of postpaid.
              Then As per rule it has to be disconnected on that day, but they have imposed Rs. 298 plan with this number without get permission with me. This message was received by me from Shakarpur Outlet, where i was gone there for converting the connection as prepaid in place of postpaid.

              I have made rest payment on the time and mailed him for this issue, then airtel's representative came to me and asked that your payment has been waived out and issue me another sim of prepaid.

              After that this connection has been activated on 03-12-08. but after that i have received too many calls for the payment which was waived off and also received a letter for the payment and suggest me to contact Mr. Sumit SArkar at [protected], but sorry to say nobody has received or call me back till date.

              As per Airtel's rule no convertion has been made without paying any outstanding, so if i'm wrong then how did it be possible.

I was call 29 oct at customer care 121 & complint helpline 198 abot the same he was peovied servive reference CBDPA[protected] resolution time 2 nov.2010 before 2:30 pm ... we are call many time customer care & complaint but he was not provied any resolution & disconnected the call ..I have not will any resolution plz help me
              i am a4 year old customer of airtel. but company has charged me for customized concessional tarrif rate. while compnay offers new sim card with lifetime free concessional services. so compnay have to provide all customer a same services.

              My mobile no.[protected] balance wrongly debited by the company says its gprs used,but i dont used any vas services so please credit my whatever balance wrongly debited by the system, as i also talked to the 198 complaint no., nodal office, any any cr. of naodal office but they cant realise me, now if my wrongly debited balance not credited to my account i will port my no. to any other company, and in coversation to your customer care service person they said the system is not wrong,but i say your system has any problem yesterday because my account bal is around Rs90. than system diducted Rs39. as gprs charges as i dont used, than again its diducted and my balance come down toRs13, after some minutes again its shows to Rs.25 and after around 10pm i call std no.its discinnected says your account bal is RS0. and after 10 min i again dailed same std no. again i talked and same after 4min its discinnocted and balance check shows balance of Rs3.28 what the your system u talked. and between this procedure i send sms to your tollfree no 121 'LAST' its shows last 5 vas transaction deduction, but its shows u dont have any such tranacation

              i have plan with the 199, and normally i received bill for 500-700 which are my normally used.

              but this month they have billed for the RS 2596 as data uses. but i really ddi not uses data like this

              i am using 2G internet, its almost 4 times of my regular bill

              2nd i am not a fullies whi using 2g internet for such amount

                    Dear Concerned ,

                    This is to inform you that we are users of AIRTEL Broadband & landline for more than a year now .
                    The broadband services every now & then suddenly stops working. When the customer care is called they never have an informative or permanent solution to the same .
                    Recently we have found out that without any prior information our lanline number on which the broad band was being used has also been changed from[protected] to[protected].
                    This is quite alarming !!!

                    The net connection is always dropping making the connection very weak & slow basically very difficult for the user to use . We use a plan of 24*7 net connect on a fixed rental . If as a customer we are paying the full amount not depending on the usage then we should also be rendered services accordingly .

                    2 major poimt sto be brought to Notice

                    > Net connection keeps on dropping
                    > Landline number changed from [protected] to[protected]. without prior notice

                    Please be rest assured that any costs bared to this landline from the day of the number being changed will not be paid by us .

                      We have been facing Signal Issues with Airtel Digital TV from last one month .
                      A Engineer visited and he replaced the receiver . For 2 days we got the signals .
                      After that again same issue got repeated .
                      One more engineer came and again for 2 days we got signals.
                      Again we got same issue before 15 days.
                      No one from Airtel contacted me . I have called customer care 10 times.
                      I had also called pragati Enterprises in Marathahalli location (pin code: 560037) who send technicians from airtel.

                      They are not at all picking my phone.

                      No one contacted me from 15 days .

                      My complaint number raised with Airtel is : 21684381.

                        I have requested to airtel to permanently disconnect my broadband A/c no.16415460 on dated 16412.
                        i have already made the final payment to airtel, after this i received many calls from airtel they tried to wash my mind they ask me to keep this no. or transfer this no to my relative but i told them i do not want to continue & ask him to disconnect the line permanently.
                        still my no. is active & they are regularly sending the bill. now they are calling for the payment.

                          SMS restrictions
                          i have a Airtel connection. in a recent order from the govt. of India on banning of bulk sms-s it is clearly stated that a customer cannot send more than 5 sms in one go(as read in the newspapers and seen in news channels) for 15 days.. but Airtel and some other companies have made it that we cannot send more than 5 sms IN THE WHOLE DAY... this is ridiculous and against the order. we r having great inconvenience. general public is suffering because the order was a different one and implementation was a different one. i think this matter should be looked into. thank you

                            I have been using an Airtel 3G data card from last 1 year. Since I am not using it frequently after relocating to my hometown I gave a request for conversion of the same to Postpaid. After giving the request the customer relationship person (at Airtel Office, 100 feet Road, Indira Nagar, Bangalore) told that the same will take effect within 24 hours. Now it is already 7 days and still no information from the Airtel side.

                            From last 2 days I am having a really really hard time speaking to their customer service associates over phone. Each time after verification process they will give another customer care . Today believe me I have called more than 10 customer care numbers and no one was able to help me out with the status of the data card, whether it is converted to prepaid or not? and Also my data card is currently deactive.

                            I called up [protected], [protected], [protected], 121, 12134, [protected], [protected]. This is really a very bad customer service & I am seriously thinking of closing up my connection. Many of my friends had similar experience and I think if it is going like this Airtel is going to lose lot of customers.

This is my important number & everyone Know this number i"m a stock market employee every client between market hours called me up & now no one contact me also.this is my bad impression to all....i"m requesting to you please look into this as soon as possible..

                                i am a customer fm mumbai, we hv come to bangalore for 2 months, so i went on 4th august 2012 and got 1 airtel sim card no.[protected] which is prepaid and 1 usb airtel dongle also prepaid and i hv submitted all the papers pertaining to the registration to the dealer/distributer and it was all activated with minutes but on using after 2 days we got a call and the mobile sim was disconnected and we were asked to bring again the papers and photos and signature , which we submitted again to the airtel main office in koramangala. and the mobile started working after 4 days. now my problem is i realised that the dongle which i purchased fm yr retailer/shop/distributor that my usb is expiring on the 21st august 2012 and the shop fellow told me that it is valid for 1 month fm date of purchase which is 4th august,2012. and when i went to refil at the main airtel they told me that the papers havent been submitted and that i hv to submit it once again.
                                i want you to please get hold of the distributer who sold me the sim card and the dongle on the 4th august and has also got all my papers , so why must i redo the paper work once again.
                                the shop which i got the sim and the dongle is in koramangala name of the shop is SHADOWS, #1, 3RD BLOCK, BDA KORAMANGALA, BANGALORE. AND THE SHOP OWNER IS NAME IS MR. NISAM BUT HE PUT THE BLAME ON THE AIRTEL DISTRIBUTER WHO IS MR. VINAY AND HIS MOB NO IS [protected] , ON DIALING THIS NO IT SAYS IT IS OUT OF SERVICE. THIS PERSON IS AN IMPERSONATOR AND HE HAS MY PAPERS FOR THE SIM AND THE DONGLE AND HE HAS NOT SUBMITTED TO THE AIRTEL OFFICE. HOPE HE HAS NOT GIVEN TO ANOTHER FAKE PERSON TO MISUSE OUR PAPERS FOR SOME FAKE SIM OR DONGLE. I WANT U AIRTEL PERSON TO LOCATE THIS MAN AND KINDLY TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST SUCH FELLOWS WHO ARE AIRTEL DISTRIBUTOR TO SHOPS IN KORAMANGALA. I AM ALSO PLACING THIS AS A COMPLAINT AGAINST AIRTEL FOR MY PAPERS WHICH HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO HIM AND I HAVE TO AGAIN SUBMIT THESE ONCE AGAIN. KINDLY CONFIRM TO ME.

                                    I inserted my Airtel SIM ([protected]) on new Sony Xperia "S" first time. After waiting 24 hrs I called to customer care executive about offer, He replied wait for more 24 hrs. I called again customer care executive after 48 hrs(Total) on 15-Aug-2012, He taken complaint Ref: CBNRA[protected]. Problem not solved. They discounted customer care service on my number. I went again to Customer Relationship Center on 22-Aug-2012 and from center I talked with Pagadam(Executive). Pagadam replied saying that Offer is not there on the mobile and we not provide any offer. Please help us to get my offer ASAP.

                                      I am Dhaval Shah, using airtel from last 2 months. I have activated Mobile internet. Yesterday night, at 11:50 pm i was chatting on Facebook. Suddenly i got a message "Thanks for downloading randeep sunny from airtel. You have been charged Rs 99.0". And my balance was reduced by 99 Rs. I don't know how can Airtel cut my balance 99 Rs, without doing any thing. I was just using Facebook, & this type of message came.
                                      Even then, i tried 28 times to call on customer care on 121 & [protected], but could not connect to customur care executive.
                                      Dear Sir, i need my balance back, because i did not do any thing, & my balance was reduced. Please do needful, or else i will have to change service provider.

                                      Dear sir,
                                      My cell no.[protected], before this fax i have already i done email you 3-4 time but after 22.01.08 cant get any reply from you.
                                      My complain is that....as u said me i check my scheme and my balance on 22.01.08 evening, and after 17.01.08 i do first time my mobile switch on after yours mail, than i do switch off my balance is192.12 after all value added services de-active after meet your Bharati House Care officer after on 17.01.08 noon, my visitor number was 126.
                                      so how coller tune service is active on my mobile.. you can see my account detail that how much i do call received or make call on this number, for this complain i did call your care on 22.01.08 evening for Rs. 30/- refund and he said i will get refund with in 72 hours but still i can get and today 07.02.08 on I make call you care canter than she said I have not any complain your about coller tune thereafter I have already call on 22.01.08 in evening about 19.00 hr, and how your care said now I cant get refund because I cant complain with in week so please tell me who is responsible for write complain.
                                      Before this matter three time my balance reduce without any service active by me and use
                                      1st = 17/- , 2nd = 17/- & 3rd = 18/- but first & third balance i get refund second times balance still i cant get thereafter i did may times call at your care center.
                                      You can see my account detail and my using that after 25.12.07 how much i make or received call and if my coller tune is still active please de-active this and make sure me that can u refund my reduced balance Rs. 17/- and Rs. 30/-. My current balance is Rs 186.12

                                      Airtel Reduced 200 Rs from my account last week charging me for some services which i did not use , when i called the customer care guy, he said i downloaded some thing and subscribed for some service via airtel live, but the point is there is no airtel live available for any blackberry handset, i told that i am using a blackberry and there is no airtel live for it, the customer care guy knows this .. but he refuses to accept it, later. he promised a refund ... now its been a week now have not got a single pisa from airtel.. i still call the customer care daily.. but its of no use they promise to refund but donot refund ....
                                      same thing has happned to me 3 months back they used to reduce 10rs from my account saying i was using yahoo messenger.. and this has happened around 5-6 times..
