Dear Sir/Madam,

With due respect, my name is Raju Barua, iam from jorhat assam and my airtel data card account number is [protected]. After purchasing this internet data card and post paid internet connection i came to know that my location is not feasible and i have immediately called one of your rep and they told me they will fix the issue but no one fix it however when i came to know that i have to pay first month bill and no exception so i have given the data card to one of my friend who used if for a few days than returned me when the very next month i tried to contact airtel to cancel my account they told me some of their rep will come to my home and check the connection .last week two of their rep came to home and they checked and came to know that its true that my location is not feasible however no one fixed the issue. And the bill keeps generating every month.This is completely a false advertisement and they should told me in advance that data cards are only good where you guys have tower coverage. And the worst thing is that one of their rep himself recharged my account with Rs99.00 on 13/07/12 without my permission his mobile number is [protected]. Because of this now again my connection is activated and bills keep generating and i am unable to use internet. You can check my account details it will show you zero usaged reason my location is not feasible and . My only request is that please allow me to surrender my internet connection and i should not pay the whole bill amount since i was not able to use the service also you need to give some punishment to these people one who sold the internet without checking the feasibility and the one who made a payment of Rs 99.00 without my permission.

I have already emailed Nodalofficer.[protected]@in.airtel.com and appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com and than after 24 hours they contacted me via phone and said its fine i just need to pay Rs 2000 and they will permanently disconnect my connection so the very next day i have made the payment and inform them to disconnection my internet connection as promised but they said Rs 2000 is not enough i need to pay more Rs2600 which i feel not fair. So please someone help me they are just looting innocent customers...

airtel data card — false bill.

this is to complaint that inspite of getting my sim card disconnected on 8 th of feb 2010 in my lokhandwala airtel gallery (andheri-west) from where i got the same card from anwar and swati i am still receiving the bills for the same,i went to my airtel gallery and spoke to now bhushan he checked into the matter and told me to complian on this,look into the matter immediately and revert the charges and stop sending me any further billsas the card is not in use and discontinued from 8 th feb 2010,my airtel no is [protected].

    Am getting frequent missed calls since 15-16 days from the Number: [protected]. I did send a message asking who this is ..but the person did not respond. Inspite of this I kept on getting calls ...when I called up A FEMALE said HELLO and while asking who this is she is askimg me "Who are you?". Am getting troubled every time. Even i am getting miss call in the mid night too.

    Please help me to solve this issue.

    Airtel — Frequently getting Missed Calls

    I am getting missed calls from the number "[protected] and[protected]". He / She is often calling me and didn't speak anything. If I tried to connect the number he / she is not responded to my call. The missed calls disturbed me very much. During my office hours also I am getting this kind of calls and it affect my works. Kindly take steps for my complaint immediately and he / she should not make this kind of calls to anyone.

            Hello I am Dipak my no. [protected] last 4 months Airtel is sending false bill. I had talk to airtel executive but more than 18 or 19 time but they are saying that it is correct bill I cant do any thing. I had talked 300 minute than bill is Rs. 1500/- It is from 4 months and I have to pay for that because they will disconnect number. Pls help me make my money refund.

            I used the postpaid connection of airtel. I get the new connection of aitel in june 2005, 150 plan for two years he should be expired on june 2007 but he charged the rent of june 2007 & other is that i actvited scheme of 998 plan on 17th july 2007 but this scheme is activated on 20th sept.2007. so, I requested to you pls. adjusted my rent or bill payment.
            Dear Sir,
            We have received legal notice from your advocate Mr.Inderjit Singh Gill pune, Sr.No 35864 mentioned that we had not made payment of A/C No[protected].
            But actually we have not activated the above A/C No's Sim card, & till today we are not receiving any kind of bill of the same A/c, i am your gold custmer & my cell no [protected].You can check our history.When we have not used the above sim card, why should we pay Rs 585.28 & why we are getting legal notice for the same.
            Also we have visited your Gallary& Head office at Malad.They don't have any record for the above A/c.
            Please Give your reply at your earliest, otherwise we will go to Consumer Court.

            False billing by Airtel

            My outgoing services and blackberry enterprise services were barred since

            early last month.
            I got a bill yesterday and find that still i am being charged for blackberry

            enterprise server (rental Rs 899).
            This is cheating and fraud on behalf of Airtel.
            They had earlier barred my outgoing services on my number [protected]

            which i used as my official number. For that i wasnt able to make outgoing

            calls and was unable to receive calls while i was outstation. This has caused

            a lot of harassment to me. The reason for disconnection given by them was

            an outstanding in my earlier number [protected].
            I have no outstanding as i had already settled that account and have

            handed over the settlement letter to your airtel customer care in City center

            salt lake. They have scanned the letter and the last payment receipt and

            sent to the required department. This was done on 17th September in the

            evening.
            I have asked them to stop the number now which they are not doing and

            sending me bills for services which is unavailable.
            I got a bill of Rs. 1050.79, but my monthly plan is Rs. 299 (corporate plan), with benefits of 600 min, 1GB data, 250 sms. But I hardly used 900 MB, around 300 min. I'm fed up with your services. If you couldnt send me the correct bill, just tell me the procedure to deactivate the SIM. Sarvanan K - [protected].
            I took Airtel postpaid connection last month RS299 plan though i used data and calls as per the plan, they send me bill for RS 1054 it made me fed up like anything. im not gonna pay the bill unless and until i get the correct bill statement.

                  Hi Forum,
                  I am here to bring to your notice that Airtel has got the new way to rob the consumers in the form of deducting small small amount on the daily basis which on being accumulated become big amount. Let me share my experience with all of you here and warn you to be aware for this kinda fraud done by airtel.
                  I have been using Airtel’s 2G Internet service since June and my life has become hell because of it. Earlier Airtel was deducting one big amount from user’s account and now small small amount eg. Rs.4.29/ Rs. 14.89/ Rs. 5.45 and so on has been deducted from my main balance even after having Internet pack on my no. It has become nightmare for me to call up every time to airtel cc and face the mental trauma of being not attended by their CCEs for such complaints. Every month I am loosing more than 100 Rs. in such a way to airtel besides having Internet pack without any reason.
                  If I share this month’s experience, airtel’s 2G Internet pack of Rs. 98 is on auto-renewal basis. On 23rd of Aug it got auto renewed even after that my main account balance was getting deducted and when I called up CC then I was told that I recharged my account in the morning while it was over at night that’s why amount has been deducted and when I told that lady that it is on auto renewal basis then how come you are saying it was recharged in the morning, she transferred the call to sr. executive named Simran. He checked the details and told me that due to usage of 3G services this small small amount has been deducted from my account. I told him that 3G has been deactivated from my no long time back then he confirmed that it has been activated. Then he asked me to check my phone’s settings, I did the same and confirmed him that no 3G option is activated on my cell. He checked from his end again and assured me to refund my wrongly deducted amount of Rs.102.89 so far even after having Internet Pack and gave me the TAT of 28th of Aug.
                  Today, when I called up CC then same trauma I had to face. Firstly, their nos are not contactable….if any way u get connected to CCE then they keep you on long hold since they are not able to handle the calls so transfer to Sr. Executive. Now, Sr. Executive itself is asking minute details from me like – before auto renewal what was the balance…….after renewal……on which date your balance was deducted by what amount and what was the main amount balance that time……….summary of amount deducted so far…bla bla bla………On giving all info, she initially denied of any such deduction from my account bluntly however on my insisting and giving further details she agreed to wrong deduction on the day of auto-renewal. But before getting agreed on this she told me one new story that my balance was deducted because my Internet balance was over before auto-renewal which is not true from any sense.
                  If I have to take care of my balance on each and every minute then I don’t think Airtel’s software and servers are compatible enough to cater consumers. Everyday and every month I am spending my time and energy to fight and get back my balance. It seems I have opened one Charity account for Airtel and Airtel is deducting money as per it’s wish.
                  Just now (26th of Aug) Airtel has deducted 3 Rs. again from my account without any reason and on calling CC, unprofessionalism was shown by asking minute details from me again since their server is not working again asusual.
                  I don’t think their is any use of calling their so called Customer Care. I have lost Rs. 110 now to them and god knows how much more money I will be loosing more in such a way. Taking Internet Pack of Airtel is my biggest mistake in life.

                  Airtel — Deducting money from main balance

                  They just activated Airtel radio(automatically: without my interruption ) and reduced money without any prior notice. It happened with me second time . Last time they reduced 30 rupees automatically after activating hello tunes. It has happened with my friends also but they ignored . Customer care also don't help . In short Airtel is just sucking people blood in the form of money. Do any thing against them please .
                  It should be considered as a high threaten . These companies are silently playing there games . If you notice my complain deeply then you can know.

                  Mathematical proof:
                  Suppose 1 crore people are using Airtel . If they reduce money(30 rupee) from at least 3000000 people just think how much they are going to earn 9 crore. So this matter should be taken seriously .

                    I HAVE AIRTELDTH WITH CUSTOMER ID NO. [protected] AND I AM USING IT SINCE 2009. MY PROBLEM IS THAT IN LAST 3-4 MONTHS AIRTEL HAS CHANGED THEIR SATELLITE CONNECTION AND AS PER AIRTEL POLICY ALL THE AIRTEL DISHES HAS TO BE REALIGNED/RE INSTALLED FREE OF COST. 3 MONTHS BEFORE ONE PERSON FROM AIRTEL VISITED MY HOUSE SAID THAT YOUR DISH HAS TO BE RE INSTALLED AND AND YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT BUT I REFUSED AND TOLD HIM THAT IT IS FREE OF COST SERVICE BECAUSE RE INSTALLATION HAS TO BE DONE DUE TO CHANGE IN SATELLITE CONNECTION BY AIRTEL AND IT IS NOT MY MISTAKE. ANYHOW FOR LAST 3 MONTHS I WAS NOT ABLE TO VIEW SOME CHANNELS FOR WHICH I PAID TO AIRTEL. BUT W.E.F FROM 19.8.2012 MY DISH WAS TOTALLY LOCKED SO I CALLED AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER AND THEY ASSURED THAT YOUR PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED BY 3 P.M OF 23.8.2012 AND YOU HAVE NOT TO PAY FOR IT. AGAIN REPRESENTATIVE IN CHAMBA CONTACTED ME AND SAID YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. AGAIN I CONTACTED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER CARE CENTER AND SUPERVISOR OF AIRTEL CONFIRMED THAT YOU DISH WILL BE RE INSTALLED FREE OF COST WITH IN DAY OR TWO. AGAIN REPRESENTATIVE IN CHAMBA CONTACTED ME AND SAID YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. BUT TILL NOW I AM FACING THE PROBLEM AND I AM PAYING TO AIRTEL FOR NONOPERATIVE AIRTEL DISH. NOW I PLANNING TO FILE COURT CASE AGAINST AIRTEL IF MY PROBLEM IS NOT RESOLVED WITH IN 2-3 DAYS BECAUSE IT IS NOT MATTER OF MONEY BUT MATTER OF PRINCIPLES.

                      I am Dr. Bhuvan from andhra pradesh, I purchased a Airtel digital TV connection (ID [protected]) on 28 Aug 2011 with one year recharge pack named as South Value Sports (Order ID No. 123938). I got a msg from Airtel stating that you have chosen south value sports valid for 12 months, and monthly rental after free period is 182/-. but when this time when i tried to recharge online, i came to know that my pack is 209/- PM. now my question is if my pack is South value sports, why i was unable to see channels which are in south value sports (Like zee channels).
                      Now i compared with online list of channels, I got that i was actually getting south value pack channels.
                      so, i realized that these people played a cheat by subscribing to South value sports and providing channels as per south value pack.
                      on date 26 i contacted three times to cust care no. but after three tries they were unable to answer me, and finally told we are transferring your call to our senior.... and disconnected the phone.
                      what is this..............

                      so i want the difference amount of both packs which i was not getting by last one year back to my digital tv account.

                      Airtel — cheating in recharge value

                      on this saturday i went for a top up to my local shop of rs.200/ dfor my son's mobile no.[protected]. The ashop keeper took the money and charged it through his mobile. To my shock and horror I got a value of Rs.103/ only. We had an argument and the shop keeper checked with somebody on his mobile and told me that had you asked for a top up of Rs/198.00 only you would have got more than Rs.170/ value. This is plain stupid and cheating by the company. If such is your policy then ensure that peop-le handl9ing your services know about them and can guide the customer. What should we do now?

                          I am using airtel fixed line broadband services . It was during the 2nd week of june that the sevices were barred due to internal cable damaging in the apartment . The services were resumed after re-routing the cable during the 2nd week of august . But the services were found de-activated due to non-payment of bill which was around 4000 rs for the last 3 months . However , a waiver assurance was given by the airtel guy of amount 1500 and i was told that with payment of rs 2500 my service ll be activated in half an hour . I made the payment on the spot but its been 5 days that the services are still barred . The customer care says that the waiver request has been initiated but unless the billing department confirms the waiver of rs 1500 my services ll not be reactivated because the system is showing it as bill pending amount.After contacting the airtel guy , he says that he has given the waiver of rs1500 and services ll be activated in few hours . These few hours have now become 5 days so far . Customer care says that from their end the waiver request is initiated and from server end the services need to be activated . My trouble is that no one is capable of solving my problem . Everyone is assuring me services re-activation in few hours but no positive effect seen so far . I am thinking to remove the fixed line now .

                            Airtel company imposed value added services (ring tone) on my prepaid mobile ([protected]) without my permission and the company deducted their charges as per the company norms. On 26th of August 2012, I came to know that the company has deducted rs. 45.00 as Value added service charges from my mobile account. During the conversation with customer care representatives (Mr. Mohit and Mr. Ashutosh) I came to know that this service has applied on my mobile since last 3 months. Mr. Ashutosh informed that as per my (Customer) acceptance the service has been provided on my mobile as he said that he has record/ evidence for the same. While I am honestly saying that without my permission this service has been applied on my mobile. I requested to Mr. Ashutosh, as I did not applied for this value added service on my moblie so kindly refund my deducted amount.But he informed that this service has applied on my mobile since last 3 months so he can not refund this amount. If without acceptance of customer, such value added services would be imposed by any company, its really 'cheating the costumer" If it also happaned with other customers then its really astonished and non acceptable. I would like to request the competent authority of Airtel company kindly inquire on this matter and provide me the evidences regarding my acceptance of abovesaid value added services on my email id - [protected]@gmail.com. This information would really be useful for me for necessary action. It is also requested to Airtel company please refund my money in to my account which is deducted for value added services without my permission. If the company will not able to provide me the required information on email then kindly let me know the procedure to get this information as its essential for me. Kindly also inform me that the company comes under RTI act or not ?. If yes kindly provide the Details of PIO and appealate authority nominated under RTI Act 2005 along with their official postal addresses.

                            airtel -prepaid — Imposed services

                            i am Airtel -Prepaid customer having Number [protected].(MS) Recently there is a deduction for some Value added service from my account. I have not registered any value added service and the customer service has sent me the mail that i have activated some of their value added service 290603. And since a long time they are deducting Rs 3/- per day. which is ridiculous. Airtel is imposing their services and robbing their customers.

                            I am a user or airtel prepaid services. I am utterly disturbed by the unwanted messages which are sent to me by airtel, and also some services which i never activate i am charged for on the will of airtel. I think even deleting such messages i am being charged, which they say that i have activated such service. i have talked to several costumer care executives but those duffers are also having any clue how to stop this. So i request you to take this matter with the company for not only me but for thousands of costumers of airtel who are being robbed by airtel on the name of services.

                            AirTel — Value added services without permission

                            Airtel has activated numerous services without my consent for my mobile number -

                            these are hello tune,cricket pack etc...

                            I did not request for any of these and my balance has reduced from 300 to 20 just because of this theft,stupidity ..

                            Please get deactivated all these idiotic services and refund my balance since providing a value added service , deducting my balance without my consent is a criminal offense..

As per my view all my quarries are still pending at the level of Airtel company. If you itself think that "the matter is resolved without satisfaction of customer as well as without furnishing of any quarries then its your company's decision, but i didnt get back the amount which was deducted or no any massage in this regard except the massage "concern related to your mobile has been resolved". Because what was the outcome of the concern which you have resolved God knows" . Thanks for one sided resolution and spoiling of my time as well as for UNSATISFACTORY RESULT.

                              I am subscriber of Bharti Airtel Postpaid mobile services from the last 8 months. From last 3-4 months I am getting charged for unauthorized VAS (Value Added Services). Each month they have been charging more than Rs 150, which is unauthorized. It looks like a scam. They claim that I have clicked some link, and just for clicking a link they charge Rs 50/99. I have been calling them and asking them to revert these charges. If the VAS charge is say Rs 150, they say that they can revert Rs 100, and they pocket the remaining Rs 50. This seems to be a well thought out stratergy to milk-out money from customers. Looking at the number of customers airtel have they could have made millions through this scam. I request you all to make customers/ TRAI aware of this scam.

                              Last month (Aug), I got frustrated with this and installed an application on my smartphone so that it blocks all internet access. I thought this could prevent any link being clicked without knowledge and hence getting charged by airtel. I was very happy that this application was working fine and I did nit click any links which could make money for airtel. However when I saw the bill I was horrified. They had charged me Rs 503.30 for VAS, which was 3 times higher than any previous month VAS charges!! though I had installed a filter application!! I complained to airtel call center about this and they registered a complaint numbered 45496276. After couple of days on 28th Aug, customer service lady called up and said I had actually downloaded something for which they are chargin Rs 503.30 I challenged them to prove this and I explained that I had installed a filter application to block this. Then they changed their game plan and said they can give back Rs 400 (its their same old tactic). I am fed up with and raising a complaint here.

                              AirTel — charging for unsubscribe services

                              my no is [protected]. we have been airtel customers for long years. but we have been facing the problem of being charged for the services we dont subscribe at all. we often get calls for additional services which we are not interested at all. still they keep calling. and above all many times we have been charged rental charges for those services and when we complain they show us deaf ears and dont refund the money also. they tell that they got confirmation from us. its impossible. coz this no. is bein used by my mom n she hardly knows anythin beyond receiving n making calls. we have other no. [protected]. even in that we have this problem. many times they themselves starts some service without our knowledge and then when we recharge they cut the rental charges. is this the way to provide the service that the customer's money is not valued at all. how come such a reputed service provider can be so mean in treating the customers. its not jst once or twice, it has occured many times. if the matter is not looked into at the earliest we will have to go for much worst steps. and probably we will b ashamed to b a customer of such a reputed service provider.

                              Airtel — CHARGES OF VALUE ADDED SERVICES

                              I COMMUNICATED WITH AIRTAIL MANY TIMES TO STOP VALUE ADDED SERVICES ON MY TWO MOBILES===NOS.[protected]&[protected] BUT AIRTAIL DID NOT GIVE ANY RESPONCE AND CONTINUED WITH VALUE ADDED SERVICES WITH ITS CHARGES AND CONTINUED WITH THE SAME AS IF AIRTAIL WANTS TO EAT UP PREPAID CHARGES PAID BY ME.-----PROF.                               Airtel — charging money for unsubscribe services

                              I am being charged regularly by different services which are not activated by me. We are getting messages with the prefix AA- , robbing our money. There is no proper response from the customer care & no proper system to unsubscribe those unnecessary so called services. So, I Quit using this network & I am going to suggest all the people in my circle to LEAVE AIR-TEL to save them from this kind of loss. And you guys who see this complaint, please save yourselves and even your friends from this Robbery.

                              Thanks for replying for my complaint. There was a call from customer service today and they said they can revert Rs 250 instead of previously agreed Rs 400. Looks like Airtel is not learning any lesson and hell bent upon charging money one way or the other. I wanted the complete VAS charge to be reverted and now have complained to the Aitel Nodal Desk and they have agreed to revert the money. I am still not completely satisfied as Airtel has not agreed to stop charging for clicking links without any pop-up asking for confirmation. You need to take confirmation from us before charging us.

                                it is nt the first time... every second day i have to call costumer care and ask them to refund... they did jst 2 times for some career counselling scheme that was activated
                                m an engineering student y wud i need career counselling.
                                and this tym they dint hear anything..and said i purchased the content frm net
                                but i never opened that site
                                i don't call care support for 2-3 rupees deduction that they do daily but 15 rupees 4 times in a week have some value....
                                please help me out

                                  I am Pronab Bairagi from Bangalore requested for a broadband connection nearly 3 weeks ago, the representative told me that one of their client will come to my Home to check the feasibility of network, but they never come, instead i call several time after that to come and check. its being a long time but no one came till now.                                     I have been using this Airtel number ([protected]) close to 2 years. In January'2012, I had made an overpayment (Rs 12488 instead of 1248) which was being adjusted in the subsequent bills. The problem started when I changed my bill plan almost a month back (Earlier A/C no: [protected]; Present A/C no: [protected]).

                                    When I received the message regarding the bill, there was no mention of it being adjusted with the outstanding amount. I then called up the customer care number and registered my complaint. It was of no avail.

                                    I then called up again on 13/08/2012 and talked to the floor supervisor Majid Rashid (complaint no: 4528410) and I was assured that the problem would be sorted out as I still had Rs 4148.90 outstanding to my credit. This was of no avail either and I kept on receiving calls from your company asking me to make the payment or risk being disconnected.

                                    I again called up 121 and talked to Mr Vijay Singh, explaining the whole scenario once again. This didn't work either and i kept receiving the same calls, asking me to pay up.

                                    I called up again (20/08/2012)and talked to Mr Dinesh Kumar (complaint no:[protected] explaining the same story once more. I have been reassured that my problem would be resolved and my bills adjusted against my outstanding amount.

                                    Then I mailed my problem to their nodal office on 21/08/212 and I received a call from them that it would be sorted out. But despite everything, I have been receiving SMS and phone calls to pay up. This despite the fact that I have Rs 4148.00 deposited with Airtel.

                                        Hello AirTel, My digital TV HD settop box has been non-functional since Friday morning. I lodged a complaint (ref#[protected]. Except for promises, no one has turned up even after 48 hours !! With lost weekend time on Sat and possibly today on Sunday, this is giving me extreme inconvenience and grief.

                                        In the meantime, I spoke to many folks..
                                        I've been following up directly with the external agency who was supposed to attend to my case - Mr. Sundar (mob# [protected]), who had promised my case will be resolved before 1 pm on Saturday.
                                        After the airtel deadline of 17:30 hrs y'day, I spoke to the supervisor Mr. Sujeet. He told someone would turn up today for sure. I also tried speaking your manager, Mr. Rajesh (mob#[protected]).

                                        I've been an Airtel customer for years together (Mobile & Broadband), where I experienced excellent service. But, with my experience of Digital TV starting Oct 2010, I must say you folks just suck !! You will spoil the great impressions that millions in India have about Airtel service in general !!

                                        I'm going to raise this at the customercomplaints online website. In case this doesn't get rectified by noon today, I'll also be filing a complaint at the Bangalore Consumer redressal forum for appropriate compensation from your end for absolute slack in your service.
