I have prepaid number from Airtel [protected]. When I travel to Chennai, this number is not in roaming. I have complained to Airtel 4-5 times in Mumbai and in Chennai but they are not helping. Everytime they tell to change mobile, sim or switch off, manual selection. All this has been tried. No wwhenever I call Mumbai helpline, they give execuses that our systems are down, please call us back. This has happened 3-4 time.

Because of this I am unable to use this number while in Chennai and I miss lots of my customer, official calls and can not connect with family. This is the service (to stay connected with family , friends and business associates, while travelling ) for which everyone take mobile , and this very service is not available.

    Dear concerned,

    We are having PRI line in our office,[protected] A/c No : 15793834, We are not getting bills in time. When I called many times to customer care, and sending email to [protected]@in.airtel.com, [protected]@in.airtel.com, I did not received any kind of bills and I tried to register in online, but that option is not available in website for PRI line. It is fed up with Airtel Services. When I informed with our Directors, I have been asked by them to cancel the connection and not pay any dues. I have sent cancellation email to customer care. But still response is nothing. I am wondering this why this such a big company Airtel is so negligence and lazy to provide good service to customer. Just taking bill from them to make payment is very tough. It is very very disappointment

    AirTel — not getting bill on time

    i am using this connection for many years first it was prepaid but now i change it into postpaid connection but now i face the problem of not getting the mobile bill on time please i am ur daily customer please send my bill through mail so, that i get it early and paid it. my number is [protected] & account number is[protected]. i am very thankful i[censored] send it now with full details.

    my name is neeraj tripathi ,im a student i have taken net service frm airtel ,but they have send have amount every month,we paid all the amount of bill they have asking for bill and cut the net connection frm 26 dec to 28 january and call me to pay the bill imidiately but i told i have paid alredy u have checked it first they found crrect me and send one person to start my net cnnection after one day they send me bill frrom 26jan to dec 26 plz help me

      They have auto renuated the message pack for 26 rs ( 75 msgs free valid for 1 month) on 03.05.12.But they r getting 75p for each message on 04.05.12.Worst Service.

      Airtel — Unnecessary costs

      sir,
      i want to complaint that today at 21/03/2010, i got my mobile recharge with a sms pack of rs. 11. in this type of pack the first sms of the day is rs. 1.00 and after that
      all local+national (100 sms) are free. after recharging my mobile of rs. 11.00, my first sms was of rs. 1.00 and worked properly till 6 p.m. but after that when i sent sms again on one local number suddenly my balance began low again with rs. 1.00
      and when i sent a national sms it got less with rs. 1.50.
      i want to know that why is this happening with me while today i sent only 60 to 70 sms only and last sms sending limit is provided till 100 sms.
      i consulted on customer care but they could not explain it well that why is this happening!

        Sir,
        For your reference and details regarding problems which I am facing for more than 2 months due to Faulty Instrument provide by Airtel at the time of connection , ( I can forward all my e-mails send to Airtel to your e-mail address. ) In short , Airtel is cheating with his customers by providing faulty instruments at the time of connection . When their instrument stop proper working , and after asking for replcement , Airtel denies to do so on the basis of their policy and they are forcing their customers to purchase another new instruments from their authorised Service centre.

          Dear Sir,
          I have been your old customer and we having using airtel for 5 years.
          Lately I am highly dis-satisfied with your services. Your mobile and landline.
          Off late I requested to cancel my landline services, your customer executives are playing games with me. I have a list of people who have talked with me with date and day. In short there was a person named Prabhu who gave me a request number for cancellation and informed me that my phone (with broadband) will be cancelled in 7 calendar days (on 24th April, 2012). Now I am being told that no such request is pending. Your executives are dodging me – I would not like to bother you by quoting all details of conversation and request numbers given by them unless insisted or obligated to do so.
          En affect I, hereby, request you to taken stern steps against your erring customer executives for falsely guiding your customers.
          I also request you to terminate my landline with broadband services with immediate effect. I shall not be liable to remit any payment or dues beyond 7 days of my request that is 1st May, 2012.
          I want my services to be cancelled immediately.

            Respected SIR
            Me and my whole family along with my relatives are using airtel prepaid numbers. It so happened that few days back i received a call from some person trying to defame one of my family members, now the person has some FRIEND in airtel customer care here in srinagar and by him the person is tracking the details of each of our family calls and by these details the person is calling my RELATIVES and trying to defame my family member, even though the matter is not so serious a minor one ( HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND ). My family members till now has received about 20-50 calls from that person including missed calls and infact the person is calling from different numbers sometimes the person calls during night as well.The person is a girl ( a really dirty type ) and using FALSE dirty remarks against a female member of my family. I tried to contact airtel customer care and they told that the only possible way to stop unwanted calls is FIR but i dont want to indulge in it. IS THERE A WAY I CAN STOP Missed CALLS from a particular number and as well STOP a particular number checking call details with the help of Airtel Customer Care and calling my RELATIVES without a reason. PLEASE CONSIDER MY COMPLAINT SERIOUS.

            I have some problem with my airtel connection. So i want to call Airtel Assistance. When i call customer care number 121 here till 4th options are available. there is no option to select assistance. Previously it was available in 9th option. Now it is telling wrong options. How we have to contact Airtel Assisitance ?????????????????????? And How we have to solve problem with Airtel??????????????????????????????????????

            My Airtel number is [protected]. I am unable to make a STD call or send a message to a particular number since 3 weeks. I have launched a complaint to customer care of Airtel. After more than 2 weeks time, my problem is still not resolved. Whenever i call the customer care, they say they are looking into it and they will get back to me in 2 days. This is going since 2 weeks. Finally today i was able to call that number but not able to send the message.

            i m also facing same pro from last Friday 29/8/08 my Sim card is government card 25 paise per min. from Friday morning when i call on airtel no. my 1Rs. get cut per min.. i called immediate to airtel customer service and they told me i refilled 295 Rs on 28/08/08 which i haven't refilled and i told them also. After that they told it will work in 24 hours and ur card will be normal wht it was in past and they promise me also they will return my balance wht it was and in 24 hours nothing is happened i called them also 4-5 times but they block my no. and next day also i tired but the problem was not changed it was same. again i called them and i told them my problem and i give them my compliant no. S[protected] also but nothing is happened and they told me it will work after 2 days coz no one on the duty on Saturday and on Sunday. they told me it will work on Monday 1/9/08 so i told them u have to return my deducted balance and they also promises me they will return my balance whtever cut in these 3 days and on Saturday 30/08/08 they sms me on evening and they return my balance only 2 Rs. and my deducted money was 100/-. then i realize how cheap is this airtel customer care service is. and when i try too call them but they block my no.. they cant solves this problem also.how bad is service is really ????? they only keep promising but they cant do anything...its fact..which was i faced..i m really not happy with this service...
            we have given the letter for shifting of landline no[protected] on 22/7/08 & informed by phone on 24/7/08 ref docdet no 50100 and after several calls and even informing by e mail noting has be done & which has not be done till today as on 25/9/08 but new connection are issued in and sarrounding area & nearlane by same address just few meters from my address

            This is my airtel complaint # 9225902 raised on 14th July 2008.
            Airtel company is one of the worst in customer care. They did not solve this problem even after 7 days where as the SLA for this is 4 days.

            Hi,

            This is regarding my latest interaction with Airtel Customer care.
            Well I called in to report a issue,my balance was deducted and the reason was some audio movies service was renewed.
            The first guy that I talked with said that the service was activated and now nothing can be done.(A straight away NO)
            I asked him his supervisor the call got disconnected,I assume the customer care representative disconnected my call
            So I called in again had a word with prashant, I asked for his manager because I wanted this issue to be resolved and also to complain against the previous agent.
            The guy said that at this point of time you can not talk with any supervisor because they are not on floor around this time.(every day)
            The attitude and the treatment received from your so called customer support made me more angry,then finally the guy put me on hold and tried to transfered me but this time also the call got disconnected.
            Now I was really mad I called in again had a word with Vinayak who was able to to open up a request for me regarding the 60 Rs that i have been charged (without activating any services) and also gave me a time frame for the resolution,I asked him to get me a supervisor so that I can complain about the last two agents and he was able to that as well.
            So my first concern:- Why the first agent said to me that nothing could be done now and why was the second agent not able to transfer the call to any supervisor
            Now Vinayak transferred me to Lal Bahadur Pardesia some one from escalation team or escalation manager not sure.
            This guy was the rudest person i ever talked on phone, firstly he insisted that the call could not have gotten disconnected from our end that you guys have no such option.. OK sound a bit hard to believe after what i have been gone through, so i asked him so what the issue then is it your NETWORK, the guy then started blaming me saying that i don't know how to use a phone and also gave me some moral lectures, the guy had no etiquette on how to speak over the phone and defiantly not on how to talk with a customer.
            After a heated argument with Lal Bahadur Pardesia i hang up, then i got another message from Airtel[protected] saying that my free trial to some Matrimony on Mobile ends today and from now onwards i will be charged 10 Rs for 10 days.
            I m trying to deactivate this service by sending a sms(STOP) to 54321 but I am not getting any reply.
            I am 100 % sure that Lal Bahadur Pardesia has done something to my account after the argument.

            And the best part is that this was the Airtel complatin department(198)


            I have been a Airtel customer for more then 4 years and this is how i m treated, now just because of Mr.Lal Bahadur Pardesia i can not wait to change my network provider, and make sure that non of my friend and family member would use Airtel ever again.

            I would like you people to look in to this matter and provide me with a resolution as soon as possible
            I am not going to pay anything for the services that i have not used and I want my money refunded
            And also I would like you to take a strict action against Lal Bahadur Pardesia and i need a confirmation about that.

            AirTel — Appalling Service - Goodbye My Airtel

            I was a staunch believer of Airtel. Perhaps thats why I chose Airtel over others when i moved to Maharashtra in spite all locals telling me not to go for Airtel. I was expecting similar service from Airtel Maharshtra as Karnataka.

            To my dismay, it is ridiculous ... to say the least. Outgoing works fine ... Incoming and messages dont! Strangest brain-less problem ever in the history of Mobile Telecom. People at their call center cant speak English. They charge for dialing 121 ... And laymen can offer better help in better languages than them. And for good Lord's sake, they have the audacity to cut customer calls which is least bit amusing.

            I am forced to break my 8+ year old relationship with Bharti Airtel and so are many many of my friends.

            I have been Airtel ever since I started using mobile and I was so happy that despite of higher rates I used to use Aritel only, all due to their customer service and customer support. But recently I have had couple of bad experiences.
            First thing now they have started charging for customer support calls you make. Second they have started hiring people who cant speak proper English and who have no knowledge of what they are working for.
            Means you end up paying for bad service which was earlier free as well as good. It just shows that how things are degrading.
            Last time when I called customer care, I asked that person that my mobile shows some service message even when I have not made any calls or sms but he just could not explain what was wrong and besides that he was not even able to speak proper English he just kept repeating "service message" "service message" that's it. Finally when he could not explain anything he hung up without any warning. I had couple more things to ask besides that and I also know I was getting service message but wanted to know for what?
            Its not a matter of cost that it cost me 50 Paise but the problem is that he hung up and he did not know English.
            I was really disheartened with this behavior from an Airtel customer service person.Airtel was one company I thought who knows how to do good business and keep customers happy but I have started doubting that too now.

            I have some problem with airtel cust. care because when ever I call to 121 there is no option for "direct call to helpline service" and if I call to 121 for 4 to 5 times there is a unknown message like " the number u r calling is doesn't exist"........
            I AM SUSING THE AIRTEL PREPAID NOS. [protected] & [protected] TODAY ON 12.02.2011 I HAVE OBSERVED THAT IN MY BOTH THE MOBILES SOME PAID SERVICES WERE ACTIVATED WITHOUT MY CONSENT...KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND REVERT THE DEDUCTED AMOUNT IN ABOVE TWO NUMBERS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE...

            Dear Sir,

            I have a mobile no [protected]. I have a problem the some balance deducted form my mobile there after i complain to Airtel Customer Care for that problem after some argument he put the phone and tell me after finish my duty i will abuse you. From that time he always sending abuse SMS form [protected] this no to on my mobile. I have also complaint in Airtel but they don't take any action again his customer care. If you also not take any action the i will close this no. It's last way.
            I inquired the customer care of Airtel regarding my sudden Barring of outgoing messages from my prepaid mobile. They could not solve the issue due to sheer lack of basic knowledge, to which I was upset (and obviously so) because the stupid reasons they were giving was beyond my understanding. However, I never used any bad language there (Although I did want to use...a lot).
            However, misusing the so called power these guys have, they barred my outgoing calls too, probably out of their stupid ego, and citing reason (that i came to know later) that I only had requested for barring my calls. I mean what stupidity. Where do they hire such studs from?
            I fail to understand what sort of 'care' is that.
            Thanx to Airtel, I am switching over to some better company.

            Hi,

            I I am using Airtel 3G prepaid in dongle. I tried to recharge but could not. I contacted customer care and spoke to nearly 5 different customer care execs, they always say that I landed in postpaid and will ask me to call some other No. and if they are not able to solve the issue they'll put me on hold for few minutes and then disconnect the line.
            Airtel does not seems to train their staff to solve customers issue. They only market the product and provide pathetic service. They sell sim for dongle and ask us to recharge it by putting it in the mobile!!!
            I have been following Airtel (Relationship Center and Call Center) for almost a month for changing my connection from postpaid to prepaid. And Airtel doesnt seem interested in resolving the issue I believe for obvious reasons as they make lots of money by following malicious tactics.
            Recently I found that Airtel had changed my postpaid plan without notifying me, I realized 2-3 months later when my bill started coming on higher side. So I decided to move to prepaid from postpaid. I visited Airtel Relationship Center at Indira Nagar. The person who attended me made sure that I waste my complete day by asking for just too many documents and too mant criteria. He didnt have all these criteria when He gave me the postpaid connection.
            Anyways, I waited for 2 weeks and didn&#039;t see any response, from Airtel. I called Customer care to know about the progress and they inform me that no such request has been resisted. I asked him to register a complaint and follow it up, he did so and told me that I will get a call in 24 hours.
            I call the customer care again only to hear back the same response, I register a complaint (#[protected]) and guy promises me that I will get a call from his manager(or someone). I wait for a week, but I didn’t get any call any mails.
            Meanwhile I also dropped a mail to the [protected]@in.airtel.com, stating same.
            Seeing that things aren’t moving I call customer care again, they guy attended me informs me that the request has been acknowledged only after I letting him know the complaint number, He ask me to wait again and say that in 24 hours I will get a call. Complaint number #[protected].
            Obviously I didn’t get any calls.
            After a week again, I call customer care again, and as usual the person didnt have any update any information. He promised me same again that I will get a call and matter would be closed.
            I wrote again and again to [protected]@in.airtel.com. But none seems to bother at Airtel and reply. Just cant believe the company customer care has become just bunch of !
            I hope some day some one will awake and will resolve this issue.

              I am facing problem from last few months on my mobile that messages are sent on contact number [protected]. I don't know this number neither this number is saved in my contact list, but Airtel is charging me for average of INR 150 to INR 165 per month. They advised me to deactivate international service (ISD) which was subsequently done and still after three months i am facing the same problem and i am levied with similar amount every month. Now today 2/5/2012 they say they can't help and are giving me contact number of Nodal authority to deal with. (People sitting out there in customer care are of no use- they claim that they are there to help us but they are simply occupied with no knowledge and no information and no point of wasting your time for any complain) Bloody hell..

                Hi,
                I have recharged Airtel Internet Pack 149/-(2GB Plan) on[protected]My Mobile No: [protected]). Before that I was already having 18MB data. So,I was browsing. After that 18 MB got over, airtel have deducted main balance for amount 300/- instead of reducing from my Internet pack. After my main banlance got over, they (airtel) started deducting again from my internet pack. I called customer care at that momemt itself. Complaint number CBDMO[protected]. At that time they told my amount will get refunded by[protected]. I waited and called customer care again on 2nd may, since my amount didn't get refunded. Now, customer guys were telling like there is a gap of 22 min between deducting my main balance and my internet pack. I am pretty sure that after seeing 2GB data amount in my mobile, I started browsing on that day[protected]. Now, customer care guys were changing their words. This is ridiculous. I never expected such a poor customer service from such a renowed service provider. Please resolve my problem.

                  This is to say that some one from the customer support team has block this communication and stop responding without giving any resolution to my concern. And now not looking into this, hence I am force to take an action against Airtel Towr Installation Management. Will fight for my right.

                  And this silence shows that all are supporting the illegal work and no one cares about the problem facing through the source.
                  Below are all the complain done by me through this forum.

                  Airtel Tower Installed very closed to my home. Generator of the tower create lot of noise and Guard use to sell the fuel Illegally.
                  Problem with The Installed Airtel Tower within the 50 meters of range from my house
                  Subject: Airtel Tower Generator is creating so much of noise and its Radiation may affect us.

                  Dear Sir,

                  My Name is Birendra Narayan Mahto. S/O. Badri Narayan Mahto (Retired JCO) is resident of Village and Po- Narar, Via- Jaynagar, Dist- Madhubani, Bihar, Pin-847226 would like to highlight some concern related to the Airtel Tower Installed within 50 meter of my House is as Follows:

                  1. The Airtel Tower has been Installed in the personal Land of Mr. Ram Bharos Mahto, Village and Po- Narar, Via- Jaynagar, Dist- Madhubani, Bihar, Pin-847226 where the Installed Generator is causing too much of noise which leads to sleepless night of my family member.

                  2. Mr. Ram Bharos Mahto is doing some illegal job like selling out the Fuel to the people which can be used in the Generator to supply the electricity to the Tower. And this is unknown to the Airtel Management. Some how this is corruption.
                  3. Use to charge the mobile phones at his home and waste the electricity allocated to the tower.

                  4.He himself intentionally run the generator set by opening all its cover which creates lot of noise and it leads to the sleepless night of my family.

                  5. Need my house to check for Radiation Free, as we all know that the radiation generated from these source cause lot of fatal disease.

                  This is my Humble request to get this illegal fuel selling stop and take some strict Action against him and consider all the above mentioned point get my house check for Radiation free.

                  Awaiting for your corrective Action and kind support from the Airtel Tower Installation management.

                  Please take strict action against him. I am still waiting for the resolution.

                  May I know what was the resolution? your information my concern is not yet resolved.
                  I did not have satisfactory resolution till now. At list let me know if Airtel Tower Installation management cant do any thing for my concern then I will take another step. There are so many ways to resolve the concern. I would ask Airtel Tower Installation Management, that do they have NOC by the resident who resides there within 30 meter of range from the tower.

                  The last conversation which I had with Rajan Gupta from this No.[protected] was not satisfactory.
                  Mr. Ranjan is saying that the Tower has installed with the permission of land lord, Is the enough to have agrement with that landlord only definitely No, all the resident wo come within the range of 0 to 50 meter of the range from the tower.
                  if only Land lord permission is sufficient the one would start the nuclear plant in their land now in that who will be the responsible body if some hazards take place to the resident over there?

                  I would request you to provide me the Phone no and Mail ID of the Airtel Director and let me handle this. I myself talk on this with the honorable director regarding this. if he himself would not respond positively then I would have final option which is Court.

                  Hence, I would request you to please come up with the perfect resolution.

                  This is ridiculous that no one is taking action and think about the resolution. Now I am forced to take another step towards the Public court to get the resolution of my concern. Now I will take an action against Airtel Tower Installation management and will highlight that no one is there to look after the public concern.

                  This is also shameful that all the response from Rakesh Ranga has removed from this complain chain.

                  This is Shameless that no one from Airtel management to cater the problem faced by the tower Installed. IN that case people have only option to take their concern to the court and get the tower UNINSTALL from the residential area and where House is comes under 50 meter of the range from the Installed Tower. Hence Me too going to do that.

                  Thats the final concern which I am listing here. Now will see in the Consumer Court.

                    I am using airtel DTH for the last 3years the service is too bad i had 250 rupees balance in my account but it will display a pop up in the center of the screen for every 15minutes when i contact the customer care they said in their end its good to come and fix the issue i have to charge 100rs i told them is not issue with my side but they did not given any proper response for it and in history and discovery channel when i select tamil language the video will come first and the audio will play delay but if i select english language i will play right even for that i have not get any proper response for it i am facing the problem for the past 6months still in customer care they are telling they are trying to resolve the issue and another thing is my airtel dth remote got repaired so i called the customer care and asked them tell me the airtel office i have to purchase a new remote but they didn't give any address for that they said our engineer will come and check the remote if possible they will repair it and charge 100rs otherwise if the remote is not working means i have to purchase a new remote will cost 150rs i told the customer care executive instead of repairing the existing remote and paying 100rs i will buy the new remote for 150rs but they refuse to give the showroom address at last a service engineer came and didn't even see the existing remote he simply told me need to buy a new remote cost 150rs and for engineer i paid 100rs for coming home totaly 250rs. i over all i am fed up talking with the customer care PLEASE DO NOT BUY AIRTEL DTH.

                    to change my Monthly plan on 599 rent, on regard I was called your customer
                    care one of your tale support guy is saying I have to deposit some amount.
                    I really feel sad on my self, trusting about your customers because being a
                    6 to 7 years of relationship with your company just what to change the plan

                    Air Tel DTH Service — Customer Service is very Bad

                    Air Tel DTH customer service is worst in industary.
                    My customer id is [protected] and I have requested for transfer of connection within city. I am strugling with them from past 12 days, every time i call customer care they register a different service request for same thing.I have registered four request (2398788,2375162,2363906,2405739) and every thime i get an assurance that it will be done next day but nobody came to handle it.
                    I escallated it to their team lead Hasrsha Pawar he also promised but it was not fulfilled yet.

                    Worst service to existing customer.

                    Airtel DTH — Horrible Service and Response

                    My consumer id is [protected]. I have purchased this pack on 22nd January and the sales guy promised me to activate my service in 24 hours..It is more than 10 hours no response from people even after installation. Worst thing was one of my colleague purchased VIDEOCON DTH today morning and his services are working with in 3 hours when they purchase, so whole installation plus activation is done in 3 hours and we are sitting as stupid waiting for service activation even purchased 36 hours before. Also worst customer care they say that we don't know anything. DON'T EVER GO FOR AIRTEL DTH. I will scrap off after the benefit and since I know many people here would recommend/add messages to social networking not to purchase this.

                    after sale services are very poor customer care executives do not care customers .the customer is dying but they enjoy

                      I tried for the mobile service portability from AIRTEL to VODAFONE, on April 02,2012 i raised and request and waiting for response from airtel, they closed the request for cheap reason : saying that : customer didnt pick up the phone, hence the portability request is rejected. And i asked them in customer care they are not able answer properly

                      Meanwhile they are insisting me to pay the balance outstanding amount, i paid four times within 2-23 April,2012 for 1060 rupees,

                      Then again i raised 23-april-2012 a new request, and waited for it till date (05-May-2012) , i called up customer care, they said the same lie, (Called customer, customer didnt pick up the phone)

                      From Vodafone customer care, they are replying that once airtel close my account, then only they can go foward.

                      Please help in this issue.

                      I stronlgy disagree your statment, with objection...

                      Every time when i receive each every call, i am expecting whethere the call is from AIRTEL Customer care...

                      So dont say that (However as your contact number is non contactable), i have provided my contact number as [protected], and my alternative number as : [protected] or even you can call me at [protected].

                      Please dont blame for cheap reason, anyway i want to shift my mobile provider, i have made payment and cleared the amounts, i clearly understand that still lengthening this issue to get delay my shifting process.

                      Make necessary arrangments and please close my connection, i am struggling to come out this airtel network for more than a month time.

                          I have a request for my help regarding my mobile service company.

                          I have Airtel mobile connection which is no. is [protected] and i am using it last 4 to 5 years old, i don't have use it last 3 to 4 month BUT continue calling between short uses of this mobile connection. I have recharge my no. by 350 balance to[protected] but not able to calling.

                          I have complaint regarding to Airtel office (Sapna Sangeeta) Indore main branch and they asking me that your no. is in deletions process.

                          I am not getting why they are doing process for my no. in deletions, please help me about that i don't want to close my no. also i want to refund my 350 mobile balance as i have recharge by[protected].

                              I purchased Airtel 3G dongel which is not working inside my home. I had given a request to Airtel Customer care about the problem, informed them next dat i purchased. Comaplaint Resolution time is 5 days, After 5 days they called and said we will resolve the issue in another 2 days. After 2 days there was no communication. After that i called customer care many times they said we will sove the problem asap.
                              Compaliant Number was[protected] with out any resolution they closed the complaint as normal. If they would tell that we can give service i will try for some other network they are not answering for any of ther problem. Kindly help me to fix the problem with Airtel.

                                Hello,

                                THIS IS REGARDING THE DISCONNECTION/BLOCKING OF THE NUMBER [protected].
                                I got the message regarding submission of id proof and residential address proof in my mobile on saturday-21-Apr-2012.
                                When contacted the customer care, I was informed to submit the proof on Monday at Infosys campus airtel relationship center, Sunday being a holiday.
                                On Sunday, the outgoing call was blocked and on Monday the entire SIM was blocked.

                                On monday-23-Apr-2012, when I contacted the Infosys campus Airtel center, I was informed that there is no facility to submit the proof and I need to contact the Electronic city airtel relationship center.

                                On Tuesday- 24-Apr-2012 at 3PM, i submitted the required documents [Duly filled form, passport copy & photo. Rental agreement for local id proof was not required] at Electronic City, Hosur Road, Airtel Relationship Center. I was informed that the connection would be reactivated after 3 days.

                                On Saturday- 28-Apr-2012, I contacted the Airtel relationship center, Koramangala, regarding the issue. They plainly refused to look into this matter and dialed 121 and gave it to me. While explaining the matter the number got disconnected twice and then i was given a number-[protected] which is the nodal escalation number to contact. When i tried to contact the above number, i was informed that the number is valid only from Monday to Friday.

                                When i contacted the above number on moday--30-Apr-2012, i was informed that it would take another 3 days to activate the SIM. The person I contacted was Santosh Kumar.
                                WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NORMAL CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER AND NODAL ESCALATION NUMBER?
                                I sent a mail to the nodal office- nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in. As expected there was no response from there. THEN WHY THE HELL THEY HAVE SET A NODAL OFFICE??
                                TODAY IS 2-MAY-2012, 10 DAYS AFTER SUBMISSION OF THE REQUIRED PROOF; THE CONNECTION IS NOT YET ACTIVATED.
                                I NEED AN EXPLANATION ON WHY IT IS NOT YET ACTIVATED. WHEN IT COMES TO ANY DELAY IN SUBMISSION OF PROOF/PAYMENT OF BILLS ETC FROM CUSTOMER SIDE, AIRTEL IS SO PROMPT IN TAKING NECESSARY ACTIONS. BUT WHEN THE ISSUE IS FROM AIRTEL SIDE, WHY THERE IS NO ACTION TAKEN YET??
                                IS THIS HOW AIRTEL VALUES ITS CUSTOMERS??

                                  received a automatic call from AIRTEL regarding hello tunes advertisement. and i disconnect the call after few seconds.

                                  I received 2 messages from airtel
                                  thanks for subscribing hellotunes. you have been chared rs30 for 30 days
                                  thanks for downloading gulabi aankhe as hello tunes, you have been charged Rs 15 for 90 days.

                                  However, i didn't perform any of the action/ or give confirmation to the airtel to activate any of them.

                                  then i called airtel customer care to question on this, i found they have activated 2 service. i asked them to stop all the services on my phone number. they asked me to check if i have been charged for this, then they would refund the charges.

                                  Now, i am calling the customer care and they dont even pick up the phone.

                                  I would like to take strict action on this unwanted disturbance. they should stop charging people as of their wish.

                                    My name is Akila Ramu and I have been an Airtel customer from last few years. In my last month bill I see a huge bill of Rs. 5000 /- for one of the value added service. I was never informed by the customer care that I was entitled for any such services.

                                    When I got a call from the customer care center if I wanted to opt for this service, I very clearly told them I do no want to use this value added 3G service. In-spite of that they have activated this service without my permission and now they have billed me five thousand rupees. This is not acceptable, hence I will not pay them the amount till they sort out this issue and produce the bill as per my usage.

                                    Airtel is a CHEAT...

                                    I have been charged for MMS services, which they have randomly activated on my number without my consent...My fault was that I did not check my bills, and was blindly paying them every month..
                                    Now when I have asked for a refund of the amount ( approx. 2300/- ), they are not ready to refund the full amount, and have only reversed Rs. 299/-.

                                    When I threatened them that I will approach Mr. Sunil Mittal, the appellate officer openly challenged me to do so and said that it will not be of any help.

                                    I have entered my complaint on this site, and hope to get my money back.

                                      i am a student of management using AIRTEL PREPAID CONNECTION AND now using PREPAID GPRS (MOBILE OFFICE250 PACK) , but the drawback is that from last 2months its PREPAID INTERNET SERVICE IS VERY POOR .                                       airtel mobile office speed very very slow
                                      I am having a issue regarding my bill dated 22/06/2008.
                                      That bill showing roaming outgoing call charges of about Rs. 9, 254.
                                      On getting bill details, it was showing a few ISD outgoing calls there while I was on Haryana-Airtel roaming.
                                      would like to mentioned that I had never made those calls. Even I had not requested to activate ISD calling facility ever on my number.
                                      Regarding same I had made so many complaints Ref No: 17202077, 17231932, 17251586, 17278851, but NO STATISFACTORY ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.

                                      Regarding this there are several queries I am looking forward:

                                      First of all, I had not requested for ISD Calling facility to my number, so how can I made a ISD calls from my nubmer. In respect to this their executive said, this facility has been activated from 24th March, 2008. If it is so why I was not initimated about the same, so that I could have requested to discontinue that service.

                                      Secondly my billing credit limit is Rs. 6500, so how could my bill generated over that limit. Why my outgoing dis continued when it crossed that limit. Even on 07/06/2008 when I came to know about my unused billed amout I called at 121 to enquired the same, but their executive said actual amout would reflect in next bill. I insist her to discontinue my outgoing, let me call to her senior, but no action was taken from their side.

                                      When I asked about the basic information on which they are saying those number were dialled from my mobile like sim number, exact roaming location in Haryana, but they have nothing to say.

                                      This is to inform you that my name is Manish Kr. Bhartia, a customer of Airtel. My post paid mobile no. is [protected].It was purchased from Airtel’s shop set up in our college, IILM Institute for Higher Education, Gurgaon.
                                      Mr. Dhiraj Gupta (mobile no-[protected]) from Airtel Gurgaon was present there to sell the connections. I purchased the connection by paying Rs.699/- in cash to him. Since day one of the starting of connection, I’ve been suffering from problems. In fact Airtel has become a nightmare for me. The problems are given below:-
                                      1).After starting of the connection, the outgoing was barred. It was due to some documentation issue which arised due to Mr.Dhiraj Gupta’s misleading words that no document is required and that they will collect the documents themselves from the college authorities. In fact this problem was faced by most of the customer in the college. We have to move from pillar to post to get our connections on track.
                                      2).Rs.699/- which I deposited at the time of purchasing the connection has not been adjusted in the bill. I contacted Mr. Dhiraj Gupta, 121 customer care, Mr.Abhishek (mobile no.[protected]), sent several emails to [protected]@airtel.in.to solve the issue but all in vain. As there was huge rush, I forget to collect the receipt. Some reference nos. of my complaints are[protected], 18112076, 17952609 etc.
                                      I think Mr.Dhiraj Gupta is the most unprofessional man in Airtel and this has created a kind of impression about Airtel in my mind. Today I called him then he said that he is busy due to month ending. If such people work in Airtel than I believe nobody can expect anything better.
                                      Below given some numbers, we just want to tell you that if Airtel will continue to create problems then our only option left would be to surrender the connection:-

                                      Extra charges continue to come in my bill as downloaded charges since when my connection is activated & from converted prepaid to postpaid. Before two months one or two messages came in my mobile. Msg is - ‘Thank you for using Airtel Service & one link. & now since tow months ‘Thank you for downloaded Video Tone, charge – 15 Rs. These msg are coming form ‘64611015’. When I took connection Gprs & Airtel Live was activated & due to this problem I deactivated this service but till now it is coming in my bill? While Gprs & Airtel live are not activated in my mobile than why is it coming over & over? I’ve called so many times but there is no fruitful response. Whenever I call costumer care they don’t take it seriously. They say ‘you downloaded something form Airtel Live & when I say that I’m not authorized to download than they don’t have reasons & plz tell me ‘why is it coming’? Still after 1 or 2 minute holding me they say’ your request is forwarded & in future it will not come. After that they removed the extra charges form my mobile bill & again next month it comes. It looks they are overlooking my problems. For this problem I have talked sr. person also.
                                      Due to this problem every month I’ve to call.

                                      But you tell me that why should I call again & again? Why should I spend my valuable time for the unexpected work?

                                      So plz give me the solution. I am helpless & hopeless also.

                                      I am currently using Airtel Mobile Postpaid Service . Previously i was using Airtel 444 plan . I registered for the change of my plan to 998 plan in June 2007. My plan was changed in August 2007. There was a delay of two months.
                                      i had registered for sms plan which was supposed to be activated on 24th August but it was activated on 24th September.
                                      Due to this my september months bill is 4700 which includes sms charges of 2400 which wud have been just 240 as sms charges in sms plan is 10 paisa instead of 1 rupee.

                                      Its regarding billing updation as for july month i have paid total 1200rs in two installment 950rs and 250rs.I didnt get any msg or updation for 250rs and it still not rectified.

                                      Few days ago I recieved a mail servibng a court notice on Non payment of dues for my Bangalore connection.
                                      I have moved to Hyderabad to Bangalore around 7 -8 months back.
                                      I have a online airtel account and I tried paying my dues after coming to Hyderabad but it refuses to accept it it seems the number is already closed by then.
                                      When I approached the Airtel replationahip centre in Hyderabad they informed me that since its a Bangalore number and moreover since its already closed they wont be able to help me.

One day an agent from Airtel came to my home, i submitted Rs. 300 to him and he gave a reciept mentioning "All dues clear", have that reciept with me. still they are asking me to pay that amount which is due their mistake. I got to know about your team from one of my colleague, requesting your help in settleing down this else these guys will escalate it ot court and i will get calls from so called laweys who even don't know how to speak with females.

                                      Airtel number [protected] - i have been using this number from past 5 yrs. but last 5 months, i had very bad experience with Airtel. i had opted for a 3G services from Airtel, when i called to activate the plan rs 200/250mb free usage/ month, i was informed that the plan will be considered from billing date, and since i activated mid month i will be billed pro data basis. however they did not bill me first month and they billed me the next month adding the data usage of the previous month, due to which the data usage was above 250 mb and they billed me 30p/10kb which came up to 2000rs extra.

                                      the logic is 200rs rental i can get 250 mb free uasage, but anything above it i will be charged extra, the total data usage they billed me was for 400mb, however with just 400rs i would have got 500mb free, they did not bill me the first month, and charge me the rental, however they mis informed me and cheated by billing thr extra data, where i eneded up getting a bill for 3500rs.

                                      they have been harraisng me and not taking my complain, i would like to book a case of cheating and harrastment on Airtel

                                      I am Arul.G,My mobile number [protected] is with CUG for past 6 years.In the month of June 2011 I faced issue with logging to my online account.After serious trouble with Airtel customer service ,nodal and apellate ,i got the information that my account number is changed with no reasons or request from my side.At that time i saw that they removed my number from CUG and charged all the CUG calls.After series of try with Airtel i fed up as there is no response from the senior level as they started telling useless answer.I paid for all the charges and continued with the service

                                      Again in the month of September i got similar issue and see now also that my account number is changed again for 3rd time.As they had no other answers they finally told a stupid answer that my company asked for refresh of account which is not true as per confirmation I got from HR.This is made true when i see in the bill that my CUG calls are charged again .Now also i am fighting with this people with no proper response from Airtel end.

                                      Service request that i raised are closed by Airtel without any response and customer service and nodal officers are putting the call on hold without responding
                                      Worst thing in this Airtel coverage is a problem at many places now.I am not getting tower at my office as well as at home .Request raised for this are also closed with status as resolved.There are no reponse made for this network issue as of now

                                      The Monthly rental charged for bill date 6Dec11 is incorrect. The plan I had availed is the 799 plan and I have not placed any request either verbally or in written to change the plan. I have been charged 893Rs plus taxes in place of 799Rs plus taxes which is the rental charge as per the plan worked out. Moreover there had been a whole lot of incovenience and disruption of services for 5 days in the month of Nov11 as Airtel lineman had intensionally disconnected the line owing to an argument which happened the previous day.

                                      When I checked with the airtel customer service organisation, I was told that the rentals of the plan have been increased from this month and I can't register any complaint. Kindly note that this was not informed to me either verbally or in writing and I have not signed up for an increased rental plan either. I dont think it is acceptable to overcharge the customer without the customer's approval to any plan upgradations or rental charge upgradations. The customer cannot be held liable to pay the revised charges levied without his/her consent and can only pay the charges they had signed up for despite the disruptions. Would have appreciated if Airtel could have informed the customer and had requested the customer to look at the revised Tariffs and sign up for an appropriate one which has happened.

                                      I have been facing this issue with Airtel for the last 3 months & none of them have bothered to correct my billing issue. When I had issues with my Airtel 3g datacard of getting only 40kbps speed, I had called them close to 30 to 40 calls for a period of 75 days. This resulted in them activating 3g services on my calling number([protected]) & have been charging for me Rs 650 every month for the last 2 months. Instead of rectifying my datacard. On repeated calling to have this rectified has gone to dumb ears. Now I have been charged every month 650 for a service which I have never asked & never used. Also for the month where I did not get the speed they promised, they have charged me on my datacard. Please help me solve this problem.
                                      I have recd my mobile bill through mail on 20th Jan 2012 Bill no.[protected]. Airtel has charged me 659.30 paise for internet use which I have not used through my mobile. I had called up on 198 (Toll Free no of Airtel) and registered a complaint on 20th Jan 2012 Complaint no. 41683638. Which is showing resolved today. Again I have raised the complaint 41727243 and spoke with Vineet he said the this amout is correct and they are unable to deduct the same.                                       But due to some error by the company, one of the number([protected]) was not registered by the company in the same CUG parent id, (which I came to know when I got highly inflated bills) due to which the calling between my both the number got inadvertently charged and due to this I have received inflated bills on both of these numbers.
                                      On contacting the agent who provided me these numbers and the customer care of airtel, the only thing which I have managed is now they have put the number([protected]) in to correct CUG.
                                      Now when I talk about recalculating the outstanding bill and waiving all the CUG calling which has been charged, I am shown different doors with no solution.

                                      I have been charged badly for GPRS service usage on my mobile no. [protected].
                                      I had a GPRS pack already but due to some miscommunication between me and customer care dept. of AIRTEL, the GPRS pack was cancelled actually the pack was supposed to be upgraded but it got cancelled.mycredit limit was just Rs. 1300 even then my services remained active until my unbilled usage became Rs. 15000.
                                      Even after escalating issue to many different departments in AIRTEL, they didnt help and kept asking for money to be paid as genuinely charged.

                                      I have been receiving abusive calls now from AIRTEL asking for the bill which is not at all fair.

Since 2004 i had been using this number and i was quite impressed with the work but in june 2012 i.e on 11th june 2012 a 3G service was activated on my number with 500mb of net service . On 12th june 2012 i talked with Mr . Rakesh on your customer care service he said to me that its a 0 rent service means no paisa would going to be deducted on the usage of this service . But today i.e 11th august i got a message i.e i was rented 600 rs due on my number .

                                      SIR NEITHER I ACTIVATE THIS SERVICE NOR I GOT ANY MESSAGE THAT THIS SERVICE IS RENT ABLE ALTHOUGH I CONTACT WITH UR CUSTOMER AGENT AND HE TOLD ME THAT ITS A FREE SERVICE I CHARGED WITH 600 RS .                                       I was supposed to have 2G combo plan in which 500 MB of free internet usage availabe on my Airtel Postpaid SIM which was activated on 29th August 2012. When I got my Postpaid SIM, for the confirmation, I called Airtel Customer Care on 29th August 2012 and they told me that I had free internet usage of 500 MB. Later, I got an SMS that my credit limit was exceeded, so, I verified again and they told me that there is no free internet service available in my plan. As, I was in urgency, I paid Rs. 900 as they told me that this would be resolved when my bill would be generated.
                                      And when I ask them to forward the call to their manager, their manager is always busy and then they ask me that they will contact me within 4 hours. But there was no call from them after that. And that happened 4-5 times.
                                      Also, when I ask them that I can wait to connect to their manager, they drop the call.
                                      Now, they are denied to pay back my money.

                                      Where does an innocent customer stand in all this corporate arrogance?

                                      Backgrounder

                                      Airtel is continuing to threaten me.
                                      I had an Airtel mobile number from 2004 till January 2012.In February 2011 I bought an iPad and wanted a microsim card to activate the network on it. The Airtel office in Jayanagar 3rd block, Bangalore recommended that I take an add-on number and gave me a microsim card for Rs 50 along with an additional number, [protected]. They also told me that for convenience both the numbers would be featured in the same monthly bill
                                      The microsim card did not work and I took it to the main Airtel office in Bannerghata Road. There no one knew how to activate the connection and they were ready to give up. I asked them for their Head Office number to complain. Immediately they contacted several technical people and in five minutes managed to activate it.
                                      By December 2011 I was fed up with the signal strength of my main Airtel mobile line and applied for number portability. Airtel never responded. I sent them a reminder in January 2012 and finally the number was ported to Tata DoCoMo. Airtel also confirmed that I had no outstanding against my numbers.
                                      I always paid my Airtel bills online from their website, www.airtel.in. After January 2012 I did not see any bill against any of my old Airtel mobile numbers. From April 2012 I started receiving calls from Airtel saying that I have an outstanding amount against my add-on number. I explained the whole story about the porting to the caller. After that every month I would receive the call and I would repeat the story. I also pointed out that my account on their website did not feature any mobile bill against my name.
                                      On August 20 I received a call from a person claiming that he was the collection agent for Airtel and that he wanted me to settle the outstanding amount of Rs 2700/-.I explained to him, too the whole story. Immediately he went on the threatening mode and informed me, “I know your address. I know how to get the money out of you.”He would not listen to any of my explanation. He called me a second time and again threatened me. He also accused me of giving that microsim card to someone else, as if I am a terrorist.
                                      After this I called up the Airtel Nodal Officer and explained the threat to her. She now claimed that my outstanding was Rs 3400/-.I asked her why the customer should be penalized for Airtel’s administrative deficiency. She also confirmed that the additional microsim card had not been used all these months. I told her that in the preceding months I had not received a single bill for that add on card. She claimed that Airtel SMSed me the dues on that number. She had no answer when I told her that the microsim was for use in an iPad so there was no question of my receiving any SMS. She promised to escalate the issue and get back to me in 72 hours.There was no call from her(Ms Sindhu) after that.
                                      All was quiet in September and October and I presumed that Airtel had realized their mistake and cancelled all the supposed outstanding.Suddenly in November and again today,December 7th I got calls from the collection agent saying that my outstanding was now Rs 4750.
                                      I again called up Airtel today and spoke to the customer service executive.She took down all the details and also confirmed that I had spoken to the Nodal Officer in August.The executive has escalated the issue to her reporting manager and given me complaint No. 47474102.
                                      In fact the official Airtel site also showed that I have no outstanding:

                                      I have no confidence that any one in Airtel really understands customer viewpoints.
                                      Meanwhile I am running scared that the Airtel goons will be waiting to pounce on me.

                                      2. Is airtel allowing more than one hour continuous international call ? If yes, please let me know maximum allowed duration for international call.
                                      3. Why charges exceeded credit limit ? Credit limit for my account was 28000 Rs.

                                      Hi, I have been using [protected] for last 7 years plus, I have had a good relation with Airtel. For last month I got a bill of 6800, the usage has been never gone beyond 4000, I was surprised how the bill got so high. Called up the customer care, they asked me to call the apellate. Called them several times, they said, you used to get discount in last all bills this time you have not got, they will do the changes and have send it to the billing department. Their hasnt been a delay in payment ever, so I kept following airtel, calling them between 12 th of Jan to 30 th of Jan for a solution ( billing cycle 11th to 11th ). Finally when I called on 30th I was irritated and said them, if they cant give the solution today ( 30th is the due date of payment ) I will be not paying them. They never came back to me after that, I got consious and called them today again what had hapenned, as their was another bill of 6800 had been generated. The reply what I got from Airtel was that by mistake they had been giving me discount and now no discount was posibble and need to pay the same. I was surprised as I will be paying another 6800 for this month also. My usage has been same and hasnt changed much.

                                      Let me know what can be done in this case.

                                      Hello Sir/Madam,


                                      I was using a broadband connection[protected]. The speed was 16mb

                                      Billing period is 5th of every month.


                                      1. By Nov 5th 2014, the connection speed was 512kb and i raised a complaint on that. It got resolved on

                                      17th nov and i raised complaint on billing wave of for the non usage for the period.


                                      2. By Nov 27th i raised complaint to shift my connection to another tower which 200 mtrs away from the

                                      previous one. But Airtel told that they donot have facility and they would disconnect the line.

                                      So my billing pending was only for the month Nov 2014 which is also should have some discount for the

                                      non-usage of the period Nov 5th to Nov 17th 2014.


                                      But Airtel is sending reminder to pay bill for the period Nov 2014 to Till date.


                                      I am keep on talking to customercare and sending mails to Airtel on this every time and they dont turn up for this issues.


                                      Please help to close this connection which i dont want to continue with Airtel.

                                        Mera internet connection jo ki 2g hai,bar bar disconnect ho jata hai.Airtel ki aisi saral koi online suvidha nahin hai jis per complain ki ja sake.Connection bahut hi jaldi disconnect ho jata hai.Obline notes bhi nahin search ker paate.PLease koim aisa kadam uthaiye ki inki ye zabardasti khatma ho.THANKS.
