I have AIRTEL ADSL Connection Number:[protected]. I pay Rs 1500/- plus per month to avail 2 Mbps unlimited with FUP at 30GB package.
3 days back I got an SMS informing that I have touched 80% utilization of my FUP limit. I checked my usage from airtel.in site and found it had reached only 16 GB utilization. Obviously the warning SMS was wrongly being applied assuming it to be a 20GB connection. I immediately sent an e-mail complaint to nodal officer upeast on October 18, 2012 pointing the mistake and asking him to rectify tha mistake as my package was for 30GB FUP.
I promptly got an auto-generated acknowledgement.

Yesterday, Oct 19 at 4.59PM I got an SMS telling that my speed has be truncated to 250Kbps as I have hit 100% utilisation. I promptly checked my utilisation from airtel; site and it was just 20GB and my access speed had ofcourse been reduced to a crawl of 250Kbps. Obviously, my yesterday's complaint had had no effect. I rang up Airtel Customer Service they informed (Mob:[protected]) they checked up with their system section and told me that nothing could be done as the sytem has been fed with 20GB FUP for my number.

I was dumbfounded to say the least. I shot of three e-mail reminders to the nodal officer and the appellate authority but till today 1.45PM Oct 20, 2011 no action has been taken to rectify the issue other than the auto-acknowledgement.

THROUGH THIS FORUM I WISH TO HIGHLIGHT THE CALLOUS,. CAVALIER, CARELESS AND CASUAL CUSTOMER CARE ATTITUDE OF AIRTEL PEOPLE. I DEMAND MONETARY COMPENSATION FOR THIS UNFAIR, UNETHICAL AND DOWNRIGHT HIGH HANDED TREATMENT METED OUT BY AIRTEL.

    Non installation of DTH services by Airtel even after having received the payment a week ago.

    On advice of the customer care of Airtel, I had purchased a multi Connection of Airtel DTH services, on October 14, 2011. My consumer number is [protected]. I made an online payment of Rs 3589/ via my credit card as advised by the Airtel Customer Care executive in a mail written to me on October 12, 2011. I was told that the connection would be installed in the next 72 hours, however it is a week since the payment was made and no action at all has been initiated by Airtel. Despite regular follow ups and constant conversations with customer care executives every day no action has been taken. The attitude of the executives has been frivolous and none of the executives that I have interacted with have been able to resole the problem. I have been assured byall executives that I have spoken to Ajay, Pooja that my problem would be resolved but this has not happened.

    I am really ashamed to say that a company owned by the prestigious Laxmi Mittal is so unprofessional in it approach. Not only this is unprofessional behavior but also is a case of harassment of the customer and violation of customer rights. I have been cheated of my right to quality and prompt services and would like to emphasize that such ignorance by Airtel should not be tolerated and Airtel should be punished by for not delivering as against promised.

    I would like to insist that Airtel be penalized for non delivery of services and a lesson needs to be taught for their serious negligence on their part.I would like the problem to be resolved at the earliest

    No one from airtel dth contact me yet for installation
    I have called nearly 40-50 times to customer care but no one from customer
    care perfectly tell me about how and when will be dth install.

    Same here. I bought one HD box on 9th of January/2012 through online and till today (today is 17th January/2012) no phone call no installation has been done. If I call to the customer care only one answar "It will be done by tomorrow", that "tomorrow" will never come I think. It is one of the poorest service I have ever seen in my life. I advice to all not to go ahead with AirtelDH TV connection.
    I also going through same experience, I made payment through mail link for change of set top box to HD digital. As advised by company executive Abhijeet sarawe/Iqabal (employee of vertex group of Airtel digitel) on 1 st of june, payment made through debit card. he commited me to get connection within 24 to 48 hours(also received mail too)
    since last six days I haven't received any reply from the company.I called up customer care, they responded very rude.

    I have decided to file FIR against AIR TEL DIGITAL in consumer court.

      Myself kaushlendra kumar , I am airtel mobile service user.On 20th of oct(1:03 pm) a massage appears on my mobile that my AIRTEL LiveTV sevice has been activated and 40 Rs has been deducted from my accont, although i have not subscribed any such service.I called to cutomer care people twice(deepak sharma and vikash) to inquire about how this could happen without my knowledge? ,they told me that I have subscribed the service but i havnt. I told them to let me talk to their senior ,call was tranferred but no one picked up.I request you to take appropriate and prompt action against the concerned people. My mob no is [protected]

      I am also suffering from the same problem, company have deducted my 149 Rs. by auto activation of an internet pack by today morning.

        Respected Sir,

        We are having a broadband connection of 2 MBPS with 20 GB of high speed download limit. Our billing date is on 11th of every month.

        We are receiving notification that we have used up our 20 GB limit with usage details as well but from our end it is NOT POSSIBLE! From the beginning of this month we never had more than 20 kbps downloading speed and even webpages of facebook and orkut are taking time to open.

        Under these circumstances, it's not possible to exceed the given limit of 20GB. There has to be a technical error from the server end, this type of problem has never happened since we took our connection.

        We have only two users so it's easy for us to track the downloading activities and that's the reason of our confidence and lodging of complaint.

        We registered a complain in the customer care but they were not of any help. Requesting you to look into the matter and reply at the earliest.

          I am using Airtel Digital TV around 2 years , my account number is

          As per my recharge susrciption my validity last day was Oct 19th , and i
          called the customer care people and suscribed my a/c on 20th 12:15 AM for 1
          year valdiity . but i am deducted with rs 4.71 paise .
          if i had subscribed on Oct 19th , stil i would have lost a day .
          Its not acceptable fact that i wil be losing a day or i wil be deducted
          with Rs 4.71 .

            I have made an online payment to Airtel Digital TV through Vritiinfocom with their reference no 4094662 on 13-Oct-2011 HD connection by paying Rs. 2390/-. The person who was representing Vritiinfocom was Mr. Yoginder Singh. I have specific channel interest and was willing to go for a-la-carte packs, but this guy offered that i can take some connection and within 2 - 3 days i can cancel the pack and go for a la carte packs which i now came to know from Airtel direct customer care that it is not possible, as i need to retain the connection at least for 1 month. I was virtually fooled by this guy. Mr. Yoginder has confirmed that i will get connection with in 48 hrs that means latest by 15th Saturday. But that didn't happened.

            After waiting till Monday "17-Oct-2011" around at around 2:00 pm i made a call to airtel customer care "[protected]" (For telecall i choose Malayalam) and explained all the issues and the executive which is a lady (sorry don't remember her name) gave my customer id : [protected] and assured that i will get a connection before end of day. But nothing happened.

            The same day itself "Mon 10/17/2011 1:51 PM" i reported the issue to '[protected]@airtel.in', nothing happened till end of day.

            The next day 18-Oct-2011 at around 10:05 i again called customer care number to check on the status (again choosing Malayalam for tele call) and it was attended by one Ms. Athula, I narrated the entire story and she assured me that i will get connection by end of day and will get a call from customer care. At 3:43 PM, i got the reply from for my mail from "[protected]@in.airtel.com" that my issue is escalated and will be addressed. Nothing happened till end of day, no mails, no connection and no calls. At around 8:00pm i got a call from one Mr. Shaji or Sheji, claimed to be from their Bangalore office ([protected]) to check with me regarding the connection. I told him that i didn't get and moreover requested him to cancel my request as i don't wish to proceed further due to such bad service, he requested me to wait for 24 hrs more within which he will sort the issue.

            After waiting till today (19-oct-2011) 3:30 pm, i made the call again to customer care number to check the commitments they have given me (again selected Malayalam language for tele talk) and Ms. Smitha addressed the call and after telling the history and telling her on the difficulty faced she showed the courtesy to forward her call to her supervisor or team lead Mr. Shefi or Mr. Shaji (they are not telling their names properly). Again i repeated the whole things. I requested him to cancel my connection and if it’s not possible for them to reimburse the money, at least let me know via a mail and i have assured him that i won't take it to any customer courts or forums and am willing to believe that one major corporate company has Pick pocketed from me. After hearing this he requested to hold as he wants to discuss this issue and then without any reply he disconnected my call.

            I called back at around 4:00 pm (selecting Malayalam language for Tele talk) and it was picked by one Mr. Anzar and i requested him to put me to the team lead and he informed me that he has gone for a meeting and will call back with in an hour i waited till 5:45 pm (1 hr 45 mins) and none called back. So i again ringed the customer care number and it was taken by one Mr. Mohammed and he told that it’s not possible for him to connect to team lead as he is not supposed to do that and asked me to narrate my requirement. Without hearing the entire issue he stated that some backup team will call me with in 1 hour that is before 6:45 pm today, now when am checking the clock its already 6:45 pm and none has called me from Airtel.

            Am attaching the reply I received [protected]@in.airtel.com along with my payment reference details as an image along with this complaint.

            I saw a similar experience (complaint) in this forum itself http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/airtel-digital-tv-trivandrum-thiruva... . Now time is 7:05 pm till now no calls from backup team.. This is one of the worst experience i ever had with a corporate

              I had purchased Airtel Sim Card No.[protected]F Mobile no. [protected] by paying Rs.699/- by cheque in the name of Bharti Airtel Limited. The amount was deducted from my bank account on 19.09.2011. On 13.09.2011 the number was activated. After 7 to 8 days it was disconnected abruptly giving the reason, that the person was not at home, when the Airtel person had come for verification of the documents. When I visited their Customer Relationship Centre at Ram Maruti Road Thane, along with all the documents for verification, I was told to pay Rs.699/- again for another new connection, as the old one is cancelled.

              Why should I pay again, as I have already paid the amount and they have already received the amount. They are just refusing to activate the old number.

              Please look into this matter.

              I am (was) customer of Airtel. I was un USA for two months (with my mobile and company chanrged Roaming fees), now when I came back after couple of days my phone get deactivated. When I went to their offifce also email to concerned autorities, they replied me that as your phone was not used for two months it gets deactivated and you will not get you number or balance back.
              In reply to my email they mentioned the condition for deactivation as below.
              The below mentioned criteria are necessary to retain the number in active status and to avoid automatic deactivation:

              · There should be Incoming and Outgoing calls made within 90 days.

              · There should be a minimum recharge of Rs 200/- within a period of 6 months

              I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW AIRTEL COUNTS 90 DAYS FOR TWO MONTHS.
              I had purchased Airtel Sim Card No. [protected] by paying Rs.699/- by cheque in the name of Bharti Airtel Limited. The amount was deducted from my bank account on 19.09.2011. On 13.09.2011 the number was activated. After 7 to 8 days it was disconnected abruptly giving the reason, that the person was not at home, when the Airtel person had come for verification of the documents. When I visited their Customer Relationship Centre at Ram Maruti Road Thane, along with all the documents for verification, I was told to pay Rs.699/- again for another new connection, as the old one is cancelled.

              Dear sir, an employee o[censored]r company offer me that i[censored] port ur vodafone mobile no. in airtel then we will give u plan of Rs. 100/- . i accept that offer and port my no. in to airtel. but after few days company pause/ stop my outgoing calls and said that u can not get this offer. Many time i made compliant to customer care and i also visited at customer care center but till date my complaint has not solved. pls sir, solve my problem as early as possible.. other wise i will file case against ur company in consumer court..                 I was using a spl. number [protected] i went for a abroad trip for few days and came back now my number is suspended. I finding very difficuly that everyu time when i go out of the contry and come back my number is suspended. I am giveing this number to all my clients and customers and banks and business purposes and they are not able to get back to me now.

                  Hi All,

                  Please never ever try to take Airtel boradband connection..I have taken this connection about 24 days back and it is down since last 10 days..it was down for 7 days after installation date also..so effective it worked only 6/7 days.

                  I have called up airtel customer care but no action has been taken so far. at times they close your ticket without resolving and put some dummy comments...its a never ending process with them...Now my 2000 Rs are stuck with them for connection and pre paid rent..and my work is also affected.

                  Mr Sunil mittal if you see this...pls wake up..airtel is no more a good trust worthy company...I am sure it has lost that brand value and customer service is worst now in...

                    I had submitted a form for a new broadband connection 2 months ago and took AirTel almost two months to install connection on my premises which turned to be a faulty connection (another part of the pathetic service). But, this is not it, they're still unable to fix this issue. It has seven since I'm registering complaints but, no one is caring to take a visit.

                    I'm trying call local support department, but, they do not reply me. After my continuous calls they answer me that it will be fixed in 24 hours.

                      I had taken airtel digital tv connection around 2.5 years back. I had subscribed 'Ultra package' for a year first and then again recharged Rs.4565/- in February 2011 for another year and with this airtel offered me free subscription for another 2 months. I Paid total of Rs. 4565/- in advance.
                      Now my complaint is this if i subscribed a package for a year and paid advance rent then every update/modification of package like addition of channels or services etc. must pass on to the customer. This is not happened in my case and i am unable to watch newly added channels for past few months. Even worse is that some of the channels was removed from my subscription e.g. 'Mahua TV' on channel no. 125 was removed from the digital tv ULTRA Pack. If they can't add channels then how can they remove them? If they want charges from additional channels they must pay back the amount o[censored]nsubscribed channels to me. This is disgusting that now if i want to see the newly added channels i have to cancel my previous subscription o[censored]LTRA package which means i will loose all the benefits which were given by digital TV to me on paying them Rs.4565/- in
                      february 2011 and then again subscribe the 'same ULTRA package' again on higher cost. Can anybody justify this?
                      Why AIRTEL DIGITAL TV came up with the scheme like this?
                      If i am an early bird (advance subscriber o[censored]LTRA package for year) then they must pass all the updates o[censored]LTRA package to me for that period.
                      Note: ULTRA package remains the same for past 2.5 years only their charges gone up and some channels added to the package.
                      If they had discontinued the ULTRA package and new packages added in place o[censored]LTRA then their explanation seems to be right but not in this case where only ULTRA package is being updated now and then.
                      Every time when i talked to customer care regarding my complaints they used to pass calls to their seniors as they have no explanation of my query.
                      This itself shows that my concern is genuine and need to be addressed by AIRTEL. Now i want to explain the sincerity of senior customer care executives with whom i had conversations, all of them told me that they need to discuss the issue with their respective departments and they will call me back within 2-3 hours. No calls were made by airtel to me over my concerns. Finally i decided to call to nodal officer o[censored]P as my city ghaziabad is situated in UP. I made a call to Mr. Pawan Garg on[protected] and some Mr. Salahuddin picked the phone.
                      During conversation with him he offered me that they will upgrade my package (not actually the package as it same ULTRA, only new channels will be added) but 2 months free subscription will be removed. I wanted a written explanation/clarification from digital tv so he told me to write a mail to
                      'dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in. I wrote a mail to them and send reminders for last five days. They are not giving my clarification in writing, moreover they usually made calls to me and during our conversations i repeatedly keep telling them that i want explanation in mail only. Still no explanation from them. The mail from airtel stated
                      'We sincerely regret for the delay in responding to your mail and inconvenience caused to you.
                      We would like to inform you that as per our telephonic conversation with you on mobile number 91-[protected] dated: 19/10/2011, to know the details of various packages, cost, charges, channels and offers kindly visit our website at www.airtel.in/digitaltv or contact to our customer care at
                      12150/[protected].'

                      AIRTEL DTH CUSTOMER CARE JUST SUCKS AND THEY ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING. I MADE A BIG MISTAKE BY OPTING FOR AIRTEL DTH. I'M TRYING TO GET A CHANNEL ADDED TO MY PACKAGE SINCE NOVEMBER 2011. BUT THIS REQUIRES RE-ALIGNMENT OF DTH ANTENNA FOR WHICH THEY ARE SAYING THAT AN ENGINEER WILL COME AND DO IT WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS. HALF A YEAR IS PASSED AND THEIR 5 BUSINESS DAYS ARE NOT COMPLETED. EVERY TIME I CALL TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE THEY ASSIGN A NEW SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER AND 5 DAYS CLOCK STARTS AGAIN. THE LATEST ONE IS 17583282.

                      ANOTHER THING THEY MADE A CHANGE TO THEIR SOFTWARE WHICH MADE FAVORITE BUTTON UNUSABLE. THEY ARE NOT EVEN READY TO TAKE IT AS COMPLAINT. IF YOU INSIST THEN THEY WILL MAKE ALL KIND OF EXCUSES THAT WE WILL ARRANGE CALL BACK FOR YOU AND THAT CALL WILL NEVER COME. ANOTHER TACTICS THEY USE IS WRITE A ALTOGETHER A DIFFERENT COMPLAINT AND CLOSE IT WITHOUT YOUR CONFIRMATION. CUSTOMERS DON'T MEAN ANYTHING TO THEM.

                        I have my service provider as Airtel. I have taken a Postpaid SIM .Due to some unexpected problems i have not paid the mobile bill for a month.
                        The Airtel service providers traced the call to whom i was calling(Then service provider call to one of my friend saying that i have given his reference number to contact and asking him to pay the bill.).They called to somepeople who are not known to me also.

                        How far it is good to trace the number and calling the other people to pay the bill of mine.(Saying a lie that i have given their reference number as contact)?

                          i had purchased a new Aiertel HD DTH connection online on 15 Oct 11 WITH a 12 month south ultra package for around six thousand rupees. Despite more than 100 hours of purchase and acknowledge of payment by providing customer no [protected], no body from airtel has contacted for installation of the new connection.

                          i have raised several complaints both online and through the customer care on[protected], which i found extremely poor to say the least, i'm still waiting to be contacted for installation. The email replies are computer generated with no feedback and customer care with standard reply of somebody will contact you in next 2 hrs ( when the 2 hrs is going tobe completed is a big mystery).

                          the purchase of connection online has become a big punishment for me. the service has not yet begun and is so poor, i don't know what all else is in store

                          Airtel DTH - HD — No Installation

                          On 24th June 2011 I gave contact details at Airtel site for DTH(HD) connection and then I got call & emal from Vriti Infocom Pvt Ltd and asked to me to do payment of 3090/- for the same offer and said I will get connection within 24 hours.

                          On 25th June 2011, a cash collection boy came to my residence at Guduvancheri and told me that the connection will be installed next day. On 29th June 2011 I have been informed about my Customer ID No.[protected] for future reference and assure me connection will be installed. But despite of calling again and again on several numbers no body is responding and Airtel DTH yet not installed.

                          Once I made payment, since then I didnt get any call or response from them. I tried to call on following numbers 12148, 12150,[protected] and no response till now.

                            Airtel — Recharge Rollback.

                            Dear sir/mam,

                            As a customer i am interested to login the complaint against "AIRTEL" my mobile no. is [protected]. On friday[protected] i re charge my mobile with 250/-, 93/-, 91/- respectively but after 2 hours my balance of 250 had been roll back when i asked to their authorized shop regarding this he denied and start abusing me next day on[protected] when i went to their relationship center situated at chakala (ANDHERI) they assured me that they will get back to me but nothing happened now today again when i went to them so they told me that is not their concern you deal with that dealer so, the thing is when they can't take any action regards this so on "WHICH BASIS THEY HAVE GIVEN THE AUTHORITY TO DEALER." and ultimately i am suffering because of that.please do the needful ASAP.

                              Airtel — Landline not activated

                              Dear Sir,

                              Here we have to state that inspite of having paid all payment, our landline connection has not been activated and no instrument has been provided to us. we have registered so many complaints on customer care through phones and online. The number which was issued to us, had been given to somebody else and we are asked to give some other number. But Still that number is also not activated and no instrument has been provided. We are facing a lot of problem since we have made all the payment on 5th Aug '10. we are contacting Mr. Pulkit and Mr Basant. but they always say it will be done by today, by tommorow etc. Basant's No. is [protected] we are very much frustrated with your poor service. kindly do the needful and solve our problem.

                                I had taken an airtel broadband connection as there was already an airtel DTH at my place in Kandivalu East, Thakur village.
                                Due to certain commitments I had to move out of mumbai for 3-4 months, hence I asked the airtel customer care if I can discontinue the broadband connection temporarily. To my surprise they said that if you only discontinue the number temporarily & want to retain the number you will have to pay Rs.400 monthly, which I found ridiculous & decided to disconnect the connection.
                                As a result I wrote a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com on the 14th of July 2011 to discontinue the service for my number which was [protected].
                                To my surprise, I started receiving calls asking me to continue this, transfer this to some friend, keep this, why I want to discontinue this etc etc, to all these calls my answer was that I have made up my mind & I dont want to keep this. I also cleared my dues on the 23rd of july 2011 through an online payment.
                                Suddenly now I am receiving threatening calls that there is payment which is due , they are telling me to hire a lawyer etc. I dont know how this company works or how they treat their consumers, why should I pay for the period during which you guys were postponing the disconnection of the number.

                                Mr. Mittal or Mr. Kapoor as legitimate business men , I am sure you will treat this strictly & take action against your employees who are harassing customers like this.

                                Hoping for a prompt action.

                                    i m brij just ported my no. from docomo to airtel gsm.

                                    problems:-

                                    1. i never ever got the plan what i was promised.
                                    2. sim card was faulty consumed lot of battery.
                                    3. while porting officially they told to suppose 3 hrs of no. service but eventually it was 2.5 dys(60) hrs.

                                    now the problem is you people has given the same number to some one, now my sim card is not working. i called that number & i asked that person regarding the sim card, he is saying as yesterday he has taken that sim card on his documents. so can you people say, how you have given the same number to two people. i want explaination on this issue. my alternate contact number is [protected].                                       I would like to share my experience with Airtel which I hope will serve as an eye opener for other Airtel customers.

                                      I Nitin Grover am an unfortunate customer of Airtel Broadband service my phone no is[protected]. Since July 27, 2011 I have been trying to get my connection disconnected but despite my best efforts I have failed to get the same done.

                                      I have had this connection for last 4 years & have been paying my bills on time on a regular basis. After living in my rented accommodation for 5 years we decided to move house. I called up Airtel for a transfer of my connection to my new address within Gurgaon to my surprise I was told that the transfer will take 22 working days (Whereas TRAI guideline & Airtel Manual of service) has given a 3 day time frame for the same. Hearing this I requested for disconnection of my services. The request was taken & I was issued service number - 1437624. On July 28, 2011 I received a call from the retention department of Airtel who shared that the time frame of 22 working days was given to me because of some software issues & now that issue has been resolved my connection will be transferred within 3 working days. Hearing this I agreed to get my connection transferred. I did not know at that point of time that the Airtel executive was making a false promise to me & those three days will never get over.

                                      Basis the promise made by the Airtel executive I moved my house on July 31, 2011 & waited for my connection to transferred to my new address. To my shock no one called me from Airtel about the transfer of the connection. After waiting till August 11, 2011 I decided enough is enough & got another broadband connection from a different service provider. I also called up Airtel customer care asking them to go-ahead with disconnection since they failed to transfer the connection despite me waiting for more than 15 days.

                                      It was confirmed to me that the connection will be disconnected soon & the fact that the old service number has been updated. Post that day I have written atleast 10 E-Mails requesting Airtel to disconnect my connection yet Airtel did not do anything. I first wrote them a mail on August 12, 2011 when nothing happened I followed up again on August 25, 2011 where I made it clear that I do not wish to continue with the connection yet the only response that I got was an apology mail stating that Airtel will get in touch with me soon. Post that I got a mail stating that my shifting request has been forwarded to the concerned department which was despite me clearly mentioning that I do not wish to continue with the connection. Nothing happened I kept getting calls about shifting connection & on every call I made it clear that even if Airtel gives me this connection free for life i do not want it Airtel did not disconnect my connection & is still charging rental for the same.

                                      I even escalated this matter to the appelant authority of Airtel on September 7, 2011 where i was assured that my connection will be disconnected immediately yet despite assurances nothing happened. I got a call from an executive who tried to retain me but I clearly told him I will not keep this connection even if it free with the amount of harassment that I have gone through. He apologized & assured me the connection will be disconnected with immediate effect. He also shared that the bills which are getting generated after I have raised the disconnection request will be cancelled.

                                      To my shock I have started receiving collection calls from Airtel for payment of bill which is from 7th August to 6th September (I had already made payment for the bill for period before that) which is for the period when i am not even living in that house.

                                      I called up the appelant desk today to ask the status of disconnection of connection to my shock I was told that my service request has been closed (without shifting or disconnecting my connection) as on September 27, 2011 I had agreed to retain my connection at my old address (where someone else is living & Airtel thinks I wish to finance their telephone usage charges) When I told that I have not agreed to any such thing & rather had written 10 mails confirming disconnection the lady Bharti was extremely rude & shared since the complaint is now closed she can't do anything & I need to raise a fresh request for termination of connection. I fail to understand when i gave no consent for continuation of services why should i raise a fresh request?

                                      This is nothing but a ploy from Airtel to continue to bill a customer despite him placing a request for termination & having moved house thus being in no position to use the connection. I have even written to Sunil Bharti yet nothing has happened. Airtel is cheating its customers & its really sad how they have treated me.

                                      Airtel Broadband Disconnection — Broadband disconnection, 25 days gone but till yet connection not disconnected

                                      I have called on 17-Aug-09 at Airtel customer care for discontinue the airtel braodband. After that i had called many times to Airtel about the disconnection status, but everytime they give me reference no and so. No action has been taken till this date. I had planned accordingly for disconnection. Means my billing date is 24 Aug -09 or 24 of every month, so i had requested for early i.e on 17-Aug09 so that after this billing cycle no bill gets generated and airtel broadband will be discontinued. But Airtel executives are not taking any action, it could happen that they could generate my next bill. But i will not give any bill payment because i had already requested earlier and i had paid the bill for August. This is pretty disgusting service from Airtel.
                                      Please look into this matter asap, i will be thankful to you.

                                      I REQUESTED TO SHIFT MY BROADBAND CONNECTION[protected] ON 12-NOV-2010 TO UTTAM NAGAR, NEW DELHI AND I WAS ASSURED SHIFTING WILL BE DONE IN 15 DAYS UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE LINE AT UTTAM NAGAR AND THAT NO RENT WILL BE CHARGED DURING THE SHIFTING PERIOD. I WAS TOLD ON 7-DEC-2010, SHIFTING IS NOT POSSIBLE DUE TO NON-AVAILABILITY OF INFRASTRUCTURE AT UTTAM NAGAR & I WAS ASKED TO TRANSFER THE CONNECTION TO SOMEBODY WHICH I DENIED AND I REQUESTED TO CANCELL/SURRENDER THE CONNECTION. I WAS REPEATEDLY ASKING EVERY CALL FROM AIRTEL TO CONTINUE THE CONNECTION WITH "NO", BUT TILL NOW THE CONNECTION IS ACTIVE AND BILLING IS INCREASING.

                                        This is regard to my mobile no portability from Airtel to Tata-Docomo, the requested dossier's was been submitted as on 11.04.2011 to the customer care out let Tata-Docomo, Whereas the same got rejected on 16th of April.2011, reason for the rejection was legal reasons sent by airtel customer care through SMS, But i dont see any reason why the request was been rejected, despite not satisfied to continue with airtel network for last 4 yrs, its so frustrated that I'm not able to get a better service any point of time, and facing a challenge to find out the reason for the rejection, despite giving the right Id,Address proof & 1 photo graph, if that's the case, i don't understand why there is facility available to do porting any point of if customer is not getting the proper service. just to say the that I have been to Airtel out let for the same reason and they confirmed that they will approve my request if I will give once the documents to Tata Docomo with new MNP no. So again the requested dossier's was been submitted as on 27.04.2011 to the customer care out let Tata-Docomo. But It is a mater of regret that still It has not been port out from airtel end which has been confirmed by Tata-Docomo. I don't think it takes such a long time to intimate me about the same, whereas the Turn Around Time is around 7 working days. but i came to know only after 16 days,

                                        Again I went to airtel outlet customer care Koramangala, Bangalore and they told me to process after 3 months(90 days). then After 4 months I went to Tata-Docomo office to port out my airtel No. But When the person of Tata-Docomo is trying to activate this no. they are getting "internal error & please contact airtel customer care". So this problem has already been informed to airtel customer care people 7 times above. Despite that It's not been resoved at all even from my airtel no I can't able to talk to you peole also. This sounds so ludicrous that Airtel does these things with their customer. If i would have known that it takes such a long time to approve it, i would have found a different solution for the same.



                                        This is to confirm you that Please resolve my problem or else I will escalate and will complain in consumer court on a priority basis.

                                        Dear All,

                                        This is regard to my mobile no portability from Airtel to Tata-Docomo, the requested dossier's was been submitted as on 11.04.2011 to the customer care out let Tata-Docomo, Whereas the same got rejected on 16th of April.2011, reason for the rejection was legal reasons sent by airtel customer care through SMS, But i dont see any reason why the request was been rejected, despite not satisfied to continue with airtel network for last 4 yrs, its so frustrated that I'm not able to get a better service any point of time, and facing a challenge to find out the reason for the rejection, despite giving the right Id, Address proof & 1 photo graph, if that's the case, i don't understand why there is facility available to do porting any point of if customer is not getting the proper service. just to say the that I have been to Airtel out let for the same reason and they confirmed that they will approve my request if I will give once the documents to Tata Docomo with new MNP no. So again the requested dossier's was been submitted as on 27.04.2011 to the customer care out let Tata-Docomo. But It is a mater of regret that still It has not been port out from airtel end which has been confirmed by Tata-Docomo. I don't think it takes such a long time to intimate me about the same, whereas the Turn Around Time is around 7 working days. but i came to know only after 16 days,

                                        Again I went to airtel outlet customer care Koramangala, Bangalore and they told me to process after 3 months(90 days). then After 4 months I went to Tata-Docomo office to port out my airtel No. But When the person of Tata-Docomo is trying to activate this no. they are getting "internal error & please contact airtel customer care". So this problem has already been informed to airtel customer care people 7 times above. Despite that It's not been resoved at all even from my airtel no I can't able to talk to you peole also. This sounds so ludicrous that Airtel does these things with their customer. If i would have known that it takes such a long time to approve it, i would have found a different solution for the same.
