DEAR SIR
I PURCHASED AIRTEL DIGITAL TV SETUP BOX LAST YEAR SEPTEMBER MONTH (SEP' 2010), NOW SUDDENLY THE POWER IS OFF, I MADE A COMPLAINT TO CUSTOMER CARE, THEY SENT A ENGINEER FOR SERVICE, HE SAID THE SETUP BOX IS GONE, AND I HAVE TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE, I ASKED HIM THE ONE I AM HAVING IS EXACTLY 12 MONTHS OLD, WHY SHOULD I NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE BUT HE IS NOT IN A POSITION TO ANSWER, HE SAID THE COMPANY RULES WERE LIKE THAT, AND EVEN THOUGH I AM PURCHASING A NEW ONE IT WILL NOT COME UNDER WARRANTY, I DON'T UNDERSTAND, FIRST THEY SHOULD GIVE ME A REPLACEMENT OF SETUP BOX, BUT THEY INSISTING ME TO PURCHASE A NEW ONE, WHICH WILL NOT COME UNDER WARRANTY
I ASKED THE CUSTOMER CARE TO GIVE THE AIRTEL NODAL OFFICER NUMBER, BUT THEY PUT MY CALL ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 15-20 MINUTES , FOR EVERY TIME TO CONTACT THE CUSTOMER CARE IT GOING INTO THE AUTO ANSWER OPTION AND FINALLY AFTER 15 MINUTES ITS GET DISCONNECTED.
I AM PLANNING TO SURRENDER THE SETUP BOX

Airtel, please understand that you are not a Local website and this is not the standard for a Company like Airtel.
Please think before you were moving out of airtel.
Unmatched network coverage, very good 3g internet speed is the strength of airtel.yes it is having lot of issues in cutomer care.
but if you switch to anyother network provider only for cost, my advice is dont switch.
if we getting something cheap, we cannot expect quality in that.Most of the network providers, apart from airtel and vodafone were not good.
If you really want to swtich switch to vodafone. airtel and vodafone were always good.
