My Problem: I requested to reinstall Airtel Digital TV in Kharghar. Finally it has not happened and it has been decided that amount will be refunded around Rs 1500+ after I hand over airtel digital TV instruments. I was told that executive will come to my home and will give cheque and take back all instruments.

So far no executive has come to my home, I followed up many times their CS, but no proper response. It is utter worst experience in my life time with AIRTEL. I need someone to come forward from AIRTEL DTH to resolve my issue at the earliest.

Airtel has the most pathetic service among DTH TV providers in Jaipur.

I have this connection for the past one year and I have been consistently facing problems with the broadcast (Signal loss in fair weather when other DTH services are working perfectly fine)

The money you have invested in buying the service is a total loss since there is no refund if you disconnect. (As per their terms and conditions, even the dish antenna and STB are owned by Airtel and they take it away of you disconnect.)

Also, when I compare Tata Sky packages - I am paying more for a similar set of channels in Airtel than what I am in Tata Sky. Not that TSky is perfect, but it is miles ahead in terms of customer service and service quality as compared to Airtel.

Sorry Airtel, you need to get your quality up and invest a little more in getting quality customer service personnel in place.

    This mahesh from andhra pradesh but right now i am staying in banglore. I had a prepaid connection of airtel from AP. My mobile was theft on Oct 22nd 2011 around 19:00hrs. Please block my sim immediately . It seems to my no. is using by some body.How Can i get the list of out going and incoming calls from my number ([protected]) between 20:00hrs of 22nd oct 2011 and 24th oct 2011. And is it possible to take the new sim with same number in banglore.

        Till date I did not get any channel to visualize. Please stop deducting money on daily rate basis till the resumption of getting channel and refund the money you have already deducted since 16.10.2011. Else I will take the matter with the consumer grievance cell of Govt. of India.

        My digital airtel TV ID is [protected], airtel service being availed since 3 years.charged for one year by paying 3000 and odd on 23 rd april at visakhapatnam but no signal is coming.lodged complain on 25th Apropil and service engineer visited and said that set box needs to be changed and it will come from Bangalore.till today same reply is given that they are waiting for setbox to come from BANGALORE.The very purpose of running in hot sun with Rs 3000 and recharging got defeated since the grand children and the family are not able to see the TV.we have requested to borrow a set box from the other service centre and provide, they agreed but did not do.IF nothing is possible kindly refund the money and terminate the connection so that we can go to other service provider.I am working as a principal associate in GMR H/Q LOCATED at Bangalore and my company is availing the services of AIRTEL SIMCARD AND AIRTEL DATA CARD and if I have to suffer so much in my house because I preferred to take airtel service for my TVit is more painful and pinching.My service centre is located at GAJUWAKA, VISAKHAPATNAM with service technician Mr Subramaniam.MY registered mob. is [protected] and [protected].I may be contacted on [protected] [protected]@yahoo.co.in and devendra.[protected]@gmrgroup.in.         I am surprised to see so many complaints of similar nature from all parts of the counrty and I can not believe that these complaints are not reaching to the top officials and the owner of the AIRTEL GROUP.then why they are not taking action.A similar story is happenning with ICICI BANK where to recover the dues BANK has appointed recovery agents who are GOONDA ELEMENTS.They come with wrong details shout, try to humiliate the customer in front of neighbour so that they get some money.NO bank in India is following this method..this gives a bad reflection on the company head CHANDA KOCHAR and she will pretend as if she doesnot know.I hope it is her job to know and remove such uncultured practices.DR.D.P.SINGH

          I am using TamilNadu Airtel for last 5 years. But still i am receiving some unwanted message from your side. That is AT-OIALRT. Already 3 times i am complaint to Customer Care. They are said registered the complaint and within 7 days. But till the message is not stop to my number. Again i will call to Tamil nadu Customer care, then she is registered the DND Register no. W[protected]. I request to plz register my mobile number to DND. And one more thing any queries plz send to mail confirmation only. Because I am in out of station.

            I have had an Airtel Sim card for 2 - 3 days. The card is activated as I can dial and receive calls as well as SMSs. The thing is, lately I have been getting random calls from different numbers. I called back a few numbers amongst which one was dialed while the other said 'The number doesn't have incoming call service'. In the one I was able to dial, the person who had called me said that his cell was lost and that Airtel people gave him my number to call on. So the question is, is Airtel giving away random numbers to anyone who calls them up or what is the matter exactly? This is really irritating. Secondly, I am trying to send BIS model number to 121 to activate Blackberry Rs.399 plan, but every time I get "We cannot process your request. Please try again after 24 hrs if you are a new Prepaid Customer." and if I call up on 7070, the system says that 'This scheme is not available for this number.' Please resolve this problem soon.

            Airtel — Random calls

            I have been getting these frequent calls from [protected]. When I dial back it says the number does not exist. I want a resolution or I'm going to appeal to your nodal authority.

            I see that many people have complained about the same number, but Airtel is reluctant to divulge that this is their own number (telemarketing?)
            I am waiting for a response. Do you have any updates?

              I have tried many times to register my number as a member in your mobilecampus airtelworld which is a social networking site for fun and entertainment, but all I get is the message,"SORRY YOU ARE NOT AN AIRTEL USER".

              I have several Airtel sim numbers which I use but non is accepted by the registration and log-in site of mobilecampus.airtelworld.com
              I am truly surprised when I get the message mentioned above. How can an airtel sim user not b an airtel user???

              Kindly guide me in this connection so that I could register myself in the social networking site of Airtel mobilecampus which I truly enjoy.

When i called customer care they told me that i had activated hungama wap content which actually i havent activated on 23rd i have surf internet aferwards they transferred my call to their senior then he told me that i had activated hungama wap content by browsin Airtel Live which i havent opened and they also told me that the money will not be refunded to my account and they are forcing me to accept that i had activated the service. When i told them to deactvate the service they deactivated and after their confirmation i received a message that Thanks for using Pack Purchase subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs 99. So it is my humble request you to sort out my problem. Thank You

                I m saroj parida I have a complaint i.e.On 25.11.2011 10 rs was deducted from my account from mobile no [protected]. When I called to customer care they told me that I had activated AIRTEL TALKIES_10 which actually I haven't activated from my side anythings for that, so how can it possible. And they also told me that the money will not be refunded to my account and they are forcing me to accept that I had activated the service I thing this is one type of torture so plz stop these type of things else openly You told us U have much more customer U no need any more then we will remove from your network but please U do not do like that. When i told them to deactivate the service they deactivated but I m not sure it will be really deactivated or not so let me check next month I also don't know from how long it is activated .Actually I have also have another number with other company but there was some network problem thats why I took this airtel no for better service but now I realized that actually I was wrong Actually if you will do with the customers like that then one day will be come all users told that AIRTEL is a Cheater company, so please stop that type of bed service otherwise we will be bound for change the no to other network. So it is my humble request you to please stop that type of things, other wise who is take the responsibility .

                  Kindly organise to unsubscribe it immediately.

                    My mobile number is [protected] I am using rechare of 34 for 500 mb regularly till 14.10.2011. On expiry of day validity I recharged Rs 34 on 15.10.2011 and I thought I woukd get 15 days validity but suddenly on 22.10.2011 when i connected internet Rs.40 has been deducted from my main balance what a cheating by airtel! Even I checked their net tariff on 22nd it says 15 with 500 mb when I recharged on 22 it gave valdty till 28 with 300 mb!

                    Total loss from 15 is balance 800mb as on 15, 34 recharge on 15, Rs.40 on 22nd, Rs.34 recharge on 22nd total Rs 108 plus 1800mb and validity.

                    Will any one do some thing or airtel services are becoming now a days worse?

                      I recharged my Airtel 3G balance for 750 Rs. from their site. The money was deducted from my account but the recharge did not happen. When I called the customer care they denied that the transaction was done. After a few calls they even stopped answering my phone.

                      I have a copy of the receipt which I have attached here. Please take some action for my complaint since I have paid for the service which i did not receive. Even their customer care centre is not ready to help.

                        My name is Major SB Singh. on 21 Oct 2011, i contacted airtel customer care and asked for procedure to get call details of last 6 months of my mobile. As told to me, i send messages EPREBILL <MONTH> <e-mail> to 121. Rs 50/- per request was deducted from my prepaid account(total 250/- for last 5 months). i was told that i will get details on my email within 6 hrs but it has already been 48 hrs but i have not received anything. i require details on a very urgent basis. i even contacted customer care yesterday( reference number CIBIL[protected] dt 22 oct 2011). i request that details may please be forwarded to me at my e-mail. Also, the amount deducted for request is too heavy. Rs 50/- overall is enough and not per month. its just a call detail that too soft copy and not paper bill. this point may also be considered and if possible, money may be refunded back.

                                Hello All

                                I am a software engineer working for TCS and I am really dissatisfied with Airtel pre-paid connection.

                                I had applied for Airtel pre-paid connection at Airtel office (ITPL, Whitefield, Bengaluru) on 12th Oct and my connection got activated on 13th Oct.
                                Mobile No: [protected]

                                However on 22nd Oct suddenly my outgoing got blocked.
                                On calling customer care I was informed that there is a mismatch in my document. However no clear information was provided on what was mis-matched.

                                Please note that I had applied for pre-paid SIM at Airtel office and had submitted all required documents and only after that I got Airtel SIM.
                                If there really was a mismatch then why was I issued Pre-paid SIM in first place??????

                                This seems to be a blunder on part of Airtel staff who filled and submitted my document.
                                Shouldn't Airtel contact it's office staff in Whitefield office to verify who made mistake?
                                Why customer has to suffer in such scenario??
                                Why customer is not provided any clear information????

                                I am being asked to re-submit my documents and wait for 3 more days after document submission to get outgoing re-activated which is a crap.

                                I am not a fool to keep submitting my documents again and again.
                                Instead I will go ahead and buy SIM from some other Telecom company which is more customer friendly.

                                I won't recommend anyone to take Airtel pre-paid connection.

                                Airtel Prepaid Connection — AirTel Prepaid connection Blocked??????

                                My son got admission in JMIT-Radaur and he applied for a Prepaid connection with AirTel Haryana. At the time of application we attached a Bonafide certificate issued by JMIT-Radaur. Connection started working properly and after one month of functioning he recd. a message for recharge and for that he will get full talk time of recharge value. Accordingly he got recharge of Rs.333/- from delhi outlet. After recharge, connection started creaing problems and when he discussed and checked with the outlet from where he got the connection, the outlet vendor told him to submitt address proof. He submitted the same to him but after 2-3 days connection got blocked and when my son contacted AirTel Haryana, the customer care said the connection is permanently blocked and now nothing can be done. Like this we lost connection charges+Recharge balance+additional Recharge, a total amount of nearly Rs.700/- (250+85+333) and harrashment.
                                Please advise us to do the needful.
                                I got airtel connection with no.[protected]. I lost my phone along with airtel sim on[protected]. When I reached authorised airtel dealer for blocking my sim and to issue a duplicate sim, I was surprised to find that the sim was issued in the name of some Naveen Kumar with annoynyms address. Now the airtel dealer is not providing me a duplicate sim nor the sim has been blocked.

                                    I just recharged my phone ([protected]) by Rs. 110, and it has only got recharged by Rs.1.
                                    It says that Rs. 100 is added to the "power balance". Just a month ago when I had recharged it for Rs. 110, I had got full talktime. Now just Rs. 1.
                                    Please look into the matter, as no details of this power plan were given (and I can't even find it on the web, or anywhere). It is just come out of nowhere.

                                    AirTel — Grievance against illegal deduction from my talktime

                                    Sir,
                                    I have a prepaid Airtel connection bearing no. [protected].
                                    That Sir, during december i have accessed yahoo zone through my mobile via Airtel Live.
                                    For that reason I have been deducted Rs.10/- for accessing Yahoo zone.
                                    From that time after every 10 days @ Rs. 10/- are being deducted as subscription for each of Yahoo Zone, True Tone, Zodiac. Althogh I am not using Yahoo Zone, True Tone, Zodiac from January, 09 onwards any more. The acknowledgement is coming from 64611010, 64611015 and 58243.
                                    I have contacted with local Airtel dealer at Motorstand, Agartala for deactivating /unsubscribing Yahoo zone, True Tone, Zodiac etc. Taking my mobile, the receptionist sent some sms ( i think to Airtel) and then told me the problem is resolved.
                                    But to my utter dismay, after some days i found that Rs. 10/- again are being deducted from my talktime for each of Yahoo Zone, True Tone, Zodiac.
                                    Moreover I have personally tried to contact with Customer Care Executive of Airtel by dialing 121. The line seems to be too busy to contact with him/her. Although once i got connection, either the line breaks or the person cut the line.
                                    In view of above, I request you to please look into the matter so that the sites mentioned above can be unsubscribed from my mobile bearing no. [protected].

                                    Writing posts here won't do anything. No one from airtel is watching this site. Your way and mood suggest that you are thinking it to be an airtel customer care site.Obviously it is not ! !

                                    The first thing you should do is that go to the wap site of yahoo zone which is charging you from your mobile browser.You might be having the links, If don't then search for the links or ask it from the customercare. In the yahoo zone search for unsubscribe link. If you don't find then go to each link and search them thoroughly searching for deactivating or unsubscribe link(while doing so be careful to not click a link that may charge). If you don't get any thing then you are really unlucky. But still there is an another way, but that one is difficult and requires more skill and understanding(I solved my problem with this method).I can't explain now because from next week my board exams are starting.

                                    Don't Panic, I had faced similar situation and know how to solve it. I faced much more severe problem from airtel in which Re 1 was deducted everyday from my account.I contacted airtel customer care 12 times and they did nothing except giving me false promises. Lastly they stopped taking my calls and I was badly frustrated.Even I tried 60-70 calls per day to customer care, they didn't picked any one of them. So I decided to do it myself and succeeded.

                                    I am a customer of reliance prepaid service at GURGAON since last year and my no. is [protected] recently an amount of Rs 75 approx was deducted from by balance on 24.04.2011 and again they have deducted Rs25 on 25.04.2011, without any consent from the consumer.

                                    I have a airtel prepaid bearing no +91 [protected] and I have 2 complaints:

                                    (1)A few days back(dated 23/07/2011 to be precise) I recharged my balance with a sum of Rs110.00.
                                    Soon after I started getting some notifications conveying that a specified sum of money(it varied every time) has been deducted from your balance for your last call which has a call duration of 00:00:00. What the heck is going on??How come my balance is deducted without me even making a call. I itself says that the call duration is 0sec. Not even a week has passed and I find myself having a sum of Rs.0.02 balance in my mobile from which I hardly have used up more that Rs10.

                                    (2)I was at the receiving end of an another horrendous case. I recharged my balance with a sum of Rs100.00 in Lucknow on 16/06/2011 at 09:19PM. As usual, I instantly got a message saying that the recharge was successful. But it further said that the talktime I received was Re1 and MRP Rs100!!
                                    On checking the balance by dialing *123# I found out that this was indeed the case but it also said that I had received a power balance of Rs100. I asked the shopkeeper about this 'power balance' to which he replied that he did a recharge of Rs100 talktime and he was unaware of this 'power balance'. But to my dismay I found out that I wasn't able to make even a single call!! I tried contacting customer care for this issue, but that too went in vain because the guy at the other end told me that he would connect me to the customer care in Guwahati and asked me to stay on line. But, even after 7-8 minutes what I heard at the other end was an airtel tone. That guy just left me stranded.

                                    This is extremely intolerable. I want my precious money back!!
                                    It's been a week since I have posted this complaint n still I haven't received any sort of assistance except a phone call confirming this complaint. I haven't recharged my balance just because I fear another fake deduction and thus, for more than almost 10 days I haven't been able to make a single call to any of my friends leave alone my family members.

                                    Having been a loyal customer to Airtel for 7 long years, it suddenly pains me extremely to notice its apathy towards us!!!

                                    I am one of the "Pre-paid" customer of your valuable services. I am using the 3G services provided by your company for the last several months. I was using this facility with a great satisfaction till few months back. But unfortunately for the past 2 months I am facing some genuine problem while using 3G.
                                    With a recharge of Rs.255 I have been authorized to use 1 GB of data. But for the last four recharges I couldn't make it's full use. While the data counter on my account shows 11MB remaining, still I have been charged for using the remaining 11MB & extra by the deduction of money from my prepaid account balance, resulting which I faced problem while travelling.
                                    So far there are several complaints lodged with your Customer Care service, but yet not received any positive response. I have lost an approx. amount of Rs.100 for the use of the aforementioned 11MB.

                                    You are therefore requested to look into the matter and get some corrective action, so that I can get the refund of the amount deducted from my prepaid account balance for the last four 3G data pack recharges.

                                      I have purchase Airtel Digital Tv. After use of 1.5 - 1.7 year, it's not functioning now.
                                      I complained 2-3 times to the department to check and correct that, they replied that you need to pay 400 - 600 Rs and we will change that. After 1.5 years this is the natural problem.

                                      Now, My issue here is that the industry standard for such big company like Airtel ? can't they develop the electronic gadget which work at least 3-4 years without an issue ? even they don't have time to check and their department know the issue very well that's why they instruct us to change without checking even.

                                      This is not the issue with me only. even here my 2-3 friends with the same around 1.7 years have same issue with and same answer from company.
                                      my i d no is [protected] i am using your dth connection for last 2 years but i am suffering a very complaonts from your side i.e sometimes the connection was disconteded from your end, bad signals, techincinan does not come in time he take upti 1 to 2 weaks to resolver the problems then also the problems does not solved after complaing several times in custmer care exceutive did nnot help me getting the my problems to be solved when ia asked my money is to refund some exective say the balance money is tranfered in your account and some say the balnce amount is not be transfered or refunded i am very much exhausted from the connection of airtel dth now i want my connection is to disconnted
