Hi Airtel

There is no doubt that you people have lost 40% of market.

Am pleased to inform you that I have faced worst service from airtel and am tired of telling the stories again and again.

Here the crap begins. I was a postpaid customer and I have paid the bill through card on Saturday and requested them to convert to prepaid near kormanagala outlet.

Person named Ramya she was so irresponsible that she told me it would take twenty minutes to reflect system .It took almost 72hours to reflect that was on Monday evening she confirmed me that it had been done on Monday evening. L had provided all the documents on Saturday itself to airtel office to convert to prepaid .Tuesday evening I had recharged and got validity for one year. Unfornately on Thursday it got disconnected due to documents was not submitted. One Saturday 01/10/2011 I had been to kormangal an outlet they informed me that due to signature they did not submitted the documents.

Why the hell I did not get the call then was my question. No answer from them.

Later I resubmitted the documents and they had given me 3 days of time. So for three days I was not able to make the call. Why the hell does it takes three days just to update the information THEN WHAT IS THE SLA THAT YOUR COMPANY HAS.

EVERY TIME I CALL CUSTOMER CARE EACH BUNCH OF FOOLS PROMISES ME. RAMYA, team LEADER KALID, MANAGER SATISH, EMPLOYEE YOSAHDA, SUMATHIRA.

NO DOUBT INDIAN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORST. PERSON CALLED HIMSELF SATHIS CLEARLY TOLD THAT WE CAN ESCALATE IT AND HE WAS READY TO GIVE ME THE EMAIL ID. WHY THE HELL THESE GUYS ARE THERE HERE AND Y U CALL UR SELF AS BEST SERVICE. DUE THIS BUNCH OF FOOLS AM CONVERTING TO VODAFONE OR BSNL. SORRY TO TELL YOU I HAD FOUR CONNECTIONS WITH AIRTEL ALL ARE BEEN CHANGED.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. LOSSING A CUSTOMER IS NOTHING BUT LOSSING A BUSINESS VALUE PLEASE DONT SAY IN MEDIA ABOUT THE BULL BUSINNESS ETHICS OR VALUES WHEN U PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THAT VALUE OF CUSTOMER.

    aise ghatiya service mene dekhi nahi, mere paas dusre network ke bhi seem hai lekin aise 420 airtel walone mere saath kiya hai ki kya

    ab kya mere paise milenge ?
    koi saaf zawab bhi nahi milta ke mera balance gaya kaha..
    airtel walo ko kya itna lost ho raha hai ki kisi ke bhi mobile se bina puche balance kat le.

    Airtel — cut 20 to 30 rupees from my balance

    My phone no is [protected] two days ago my balance 111 rupees now it is 83 rupees today is 29-dec-2010 and last two days i m not use my phone so much that they cut my 28 rupees.
    And i m not take any service.
    Airtel also not inform me way they cut 28 rupees.

    Tomorrow evening when i checked my balance, it was about 39.?? Rs. but at night when i checked after calling 12131(it is a toll free no.) it was cut down to 0.03 Rs.. When i checked why this deduction has took place(by sending "Last" to 121) it shows me for 'value added services' deduction of 39.04 (0.30+ 10.84 + 0.90+ 27.00,all deductions as value added services). There is no value added service being activated on my cellular phone!!
    Tell me for what service my balance has been reduced to nil and i want to deactivate it too.

Sir, on 24th January 2011 I recharged for talktime balance with Rs.20 and I got Rs.15.13 balance and my mobile balance became Rs.15.29 . Next day morning, I checked my balance, it was only Rs.0.29 balance left. I called my dealer help line and they excused some kind of value added pack which I never activated.       I want to give them a Warning that to stop immediately otherwise I will take legal action under the follwoing law:--

      1. Case of Fraud under IPC 1908,
      2. Give me the reason with proper proof when I applied for the same. under Right to information act.

      and other Low of Fraud under other section......

      take the action immedittely and refune my money................

      AirTel — wrong charge on hello tune

      company has cheated me more than 3 times by their hello tune service. i havent copied any hello tune from any number but they cherged a huge amt many times by saying that i hv copied the said hello tune.
      now they are simply started chaetin on name of copyin the hello tune just by pressing the button
      n i marked that i havent copied the hello tune bt they always cheatd me they have charged around 150 rs by their server and data base fault

      I have songs, which is not available in Airtel Hello Tunes. I wanted to updated the songs i have. Please let me know the procedure. how do to this.

        Mailed following to Airtel multiple times, received auto acknowledge mail assuring response within 24 hours. Only Recoveryt team is calling me, still waiting to hear from Customer CARE (what is that) team.

        I had requested to shift my connection to Airtel on 20th August but they asked me to clear all my bills. So I paid on 23rd August Rs 690 to clear the bills and raised request to shift on 23rd August itself. Airtel committed shifting within 10 days (top), charges Rs 350.

        FYI, I have shifted at walking distance from my old home. Hardly a distance of 200 meters. Despite multiple calls, innumerable requests they never shifted but when it was time for billing cycle they remembered to call me. Airtel is now asking me to pay Rs 851 for phone and internet usage for the period when they ensured that I don't use the service.

        I had informed their escalation managers Mr Santosh/Mr Sajan to cancel my connection and have sent multiple mails to that effect. They won't disconnect and won't shift but they will charge.

        Airtel Broadband — Non-Existent - Customer Service

        Hi Guys

        I don't know how many of you have noticed it, but I have tried reaching the Airtel cutomer service many times over the internet.

        First of all, they don't have a TOLL FREE number.

        Secondly, nobody replies on the email.

        There is not way of reaching them free of cost if you are availing their services, apart from calling them from their mobile or landline.

        Isn't it a deviation from the rules laid down by the regulatory authorities like TRAI ?

        Airtel — Payment done but still Harassing by calling

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I am Airtel Customer. I have many complaint about Airtel

        Complaint No 1.

        I am not getting Bill copy every month. Once in a while I am getting. Many times I have given complaint but no use.
        Complaint No. 2.

        Airtel is not updating their System. I am using my Number since last 1 year. Immediately getting Airtel connection, I got legal notice from Airtel that I have not paid previous dues. I am workig lady. Post office was not delivering the Legal notice to others. I got intimation from post office to come & collect the document. It wasted my lot of time to go to post office and collect the same. I later came to know that It was the previous user's legal notice for not paying the amount. But It was sent to my address in my name. really disgusting.I got 2 to three legal notice and later it stopped.

        I have paid my December 09 Bills by cheque Ref:020988 Amout Rs.558. cleared on 2nd January. Bank statement copy is attached herewith. We have dropped the cheque well in advance even though we dont get the bills. But From January 2nd every day I use to get 2 to three calls that I have not paid the Bill amount. I was saying them that it has beed paid already pls. check from your end. But No. Airtel is Airtel. They know how to herrase people without any reason. Till date I am getting calls to make payment. And their Bill collection executives are so rude. They are saying I have to go to their Airtel Centre to show the proof that I have already paid. Why I should waste my time even though I have paid.
        It is realy disgusting and from the very beginning my Airtel Experience is very bad.

        Kindly look into the matter

        Airtel Broadband — Wrongly billed for non-existent connection

        Six months back I had applied for shifting of my Airtel broadband connection. The request was taken and there was no response from Airtel after that. After my repeated attempts to get the shifting done, finally after two months these guys admitted that the connection was not feasible at my new address. Airtel Broadband does not have any kind of existence in the vicinity. But I was billed during this period and the billing has not stopped even now. I had called the customer service to rectify this issue but nothing has happened yet.
        I am still receiving phone calls from Airtel asking me to pay the bill for a non-existent connection. If somebody from Airtel happens to read this, please fix this issue.

          Airtel is not providing NOC without any reason for my numbers [protected] and [protected].
          I sent an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com and called customer care, but they refused. I have also visited AirTel relationship centre Aundh, Pune. They refused me and said that we do not have authority to give you the NOC letter. People at relationship centre do not even interested to talk to me.
          I have already paid my bill amount in advance.

              It has been very very bad experience with Airtel Customer Service with me. I want to change my service provider & go with docomo. I tried 3 times for MNP & get PORT numbers. But every time I got call from airtel. I was promised to be given a WIN CUG 149 Plan activated on my 2 Airtel mobile numbers [protected] & [protected] time (within 4th Sept'11 to 3 Oct'11), however the promise was not kept yet. Mrs.Rashmi, Mr. Nitesh was given promises to me. They said according to Win CUG 149 Plan- Airtel to Other Mobile .30 paise per minute. But when i check airtel website about that Win CUG 149 plan, nowhere that type of plan occured. Pls I am requested them to resolve this issue as early as posible. However, there has been no resolution given.

              Hope, through this I may be able to reach the higher authorities and get what I wanted.

                For nearly the past 2 months, I have been struggling with frequent Wifi disconnection issue at my place. It was installed by Vijay who represented AirTel/Beetel who was in a hurry and did not give any specific details and also failed to get me the voucher while he got away with the modem that I had earlier (as he replaced it with Beetel 450TC1). When I initially placed a request to convert the physical connection to WiFi, Aritel did assign that job to Srikanth who closed the request the very same evening without even turning up after 10 days. When queried about the delay with Airtel, this incident was brought to my notice and they sent Vijay for installation who collected Rs. 1500/- without providing the voucher and vanished with the modem that I was using. It was told to me that Airtel will have the records of when the instrument was installed and will act as a warranty should there be any complaints with the instrument. They sent multiple so-called engineers to check the issue here and it was once again Srikanth who was assigned the job and never turned up, but he did ensure to close the case as he did earlier. Then came Mudassir (who was understanding and helpful) who was unable to rectify the issue and stated that the problem is with the instrument itself. Since then, I have been struggling to catch hold of Airtel team (Raghavendra, the floor/team manager did promise to help and is unavailable now while Shivaranjini, the floor manager, refused to take responsibility here) who are now singing a different song altogether and are unwilling to take any responsibility here. I am also unable to get in touch with Vijay/Srikanth/Deepak (supposedly the Team Manager) as they are either not picking the calls or the mobile is switched off.

                Please help.

                  I have put request for MNP, Airtel has rejected it for no reason. When I am checking back with them they gave me multiple reason in the following order.

                  1. First they sent a reject message saying that the PORTING CODE mismatch. Which is incorrect if anybody checks it.
                  2. When I called they came up with second reason of not completing 90days. Executive Nataraj said, it is some day 90+ days, not 90 days accurate for all the time. I have ported out to Airtel on 2011 June 15 and porting back to my initial provider Vodafone on on after september 20th 2011.
                  3. I showed them TRAI circular on MNP, now they changed there stand to a different argument. Started saying I had outstanding amount when porting request from Vodafone was received. I did not have any outstanding billed amount, All i had cleared. All i had unbilled amount which i can not clear unless it is billed. In a postpaid connection clearing unbilled amount is something live paying more amount than actual usage. My bill plan benefits wont get counted unless it is billed. When i did MNP from Vodafone, I had unbilled amount which I got cleared later after billing date.
                  4. Now here is there next argument, I was in a CUG Plan of a corporate. Yes As per me I was, I know without moving to individual plan MNP is in not possible, so I raised a request on Airtel Customer Care(121) to put me into 149(least amount) plan on 2011 SEPTEMBER 20 by 8:00PM. Executive Maria took the request and she gave me a confirmation on the same saying that it would be done in another 4hours of time i.e (12AM).
                  5. Now they say that the request did not complete of some unknown technical issues and they are holding me for another month. They also said Changing bill plan can not be taken from customer care. If that was the case, why did they take my request and gave me confirmation of plan change in next 4hours time.
                  6. All irrelevant answers while asking details.


                  Can any one tell me how to go with Department of Telecom/TRAI (Govt India) complaint on this.

                    SMS from AD-54321 without my knowledge and deducted 99/-

                    Hi Airtel customer care,

                    I got an SMS from AD-54321 saying "Thanks for downloading java game, and you have been charged 99/-".


                    What I wonder is, I never sent any sms or link to activate this service.

                    And also when sent sms stop to 121 i got message that no services are active in this mobile then how can they deducted 99/-

                    I guess is this a new strategy to get more money from innocent customer

                    I called customer service also, i didn't get correct answer

                    this is second time i faced this problem earlier they deducted 10/- now increased to 99/-

                    earlier also i cmplained customer care but till now no there is no rectification

                    Please resolve this problem.

                    I am getting following message from AD-54321 on regular basis deducting Rs 3 by each time. I didn't ask for any such service and in spite of my repeated complaints, you people didn't do anything to stop that.

                    "you have been renewed for mod_vod_of_day_airtelwithalt subscription from
                    Airtel.You have been charged Rs 3. Join GamesClub at http://gclub.in".

                    Please stop this thing. I am fed up of repeated complaints. Otherwise, I will be forced to change the service provider instead.

                    I already complained on 2nd earlier about deduction of 99/- please find the link below, i guess that problem solved and i have been credited with 99/- at 11.59am again by evening 9.15 pm they deducted 99/-from my account.

                    Could you please tell me why Airtel is targeting my mobile ([protected]) for deducting the amount, when i never downloaded any games, i use mobile for only talking and email purpose i never used the mobile any other purpose.

                    And also, Today total day im in meeting, i never touched my mobile from 11.45am till i have seen the second deduction sms for java game (which i never downloaded)

                    I am facing same problem of deduction within 6 days, (first one on 2nd Oct and second one on 7th Oct)

                    If there is some problem with Airtel system please correct it as early as possible, don't harass customers like this

                    on 7th October at there was deduction of 99 for downloading java game, i never downloaded anything,

                    i received another sms on 12th October that it is not possible to refund as i downloaded some najara java game (i don't know what game it is)

                    again i called customer service to find the reason, they told to cancel all the active services by sending sms - MASALA CANCEL - surprising that when i sent i received another sms you are not currently active.

                    that means this is Airtel's new strategy to increase the sales by cheating the customers. Mr Airtel if you are in money crunch just beg for charity but never cheat customer.

                    if you cheat like this it effect your business totally (i don't know how you boast yourself that you are number one in customer service)

                    O!!! I got it it is by providing unnecessary services to the customers and earning money and torturing customers by providing with this type of services, yes i do agree all these services, services only.

                    i don't want this type of nonsense services for my mobile number ([protected]) and already requested for it and when i am sending sms to stop these type of services its telling its not actives but then i don't know how money is getting deducted

                    I guess i need to go to consumer court and TRAI, as i have my mobile with me with no java games installed and i have other proofs also, Dear all other customers of Airtel please and consumercomplaints.in help me in the process of lodging the complaint against Airtel. its no for rs99 but its for mental torture they are giving to us.

                    I guess it is our duty to make customers aware about this type nonsense facilities been given to customer forcibly.

                    Every day hen some sms comes from Airtel, i Fear this time how much they will deduct in the name of some nonsense service

                    Or I planed to shift to other mobile service providers, at least i will have peace of mind that nobody will deduct money without knowing by me.

                      On 23rd Nov.2010 some Mr.Dharam Veer contacted me to install Airtel DTH connection at my home and gave me a DTH Connection Customer ID [protected] under Mega Pack. But this connection was given from a Dish of my tenant Mr. Shakeel Ahmed. He charged me Rs.1290/- but no receipt of money was given to me .In march 2011 they charged me Rs.400/- for shifting the Dish owing to no signal vide receipt no.92314 dtd.10.3.2011. On leaving my tenant Mr.Shakeel in 05/2011 when we contacted your dealer at Central Road,Bhogal,New Delhi, he advised us to give Rs.600/-to Shakeel and the same connection would be converted to you but ID WILL NOT CHANGE .We comply with the advised and gave Rs.600/- to Shakeel.On dtd.21.7.2011 they took away set-top box/remote etc.of Cutomer ID [protected]-001 of Mr.Shakeel vide receipt no.230399 dtd.21.7.2011.
                      In July 2011 I received a message on my cell phone [protected] asking Rs.600/- for recharge I enquired /worte complaint through e-mail for aking Rs.600/- for recharge while just 20 days back I recgarge it by Rs.350/- as I am paying since installation, now they diconnected it and on complaint thier Engineer visited and asking Rs.400/- for setting dish antena to somewhere else to get proper signals. I also tried to install it but unable to find any transmission on my television.
                      Kindly arrange to continue my services in my name and excess charges may please be adjusted in my future bills. If there is any signal probllem then my money should be returned to me alongwith balance as on date in my account to me.

                        I have been activated for friends and family package with out my notice. where Airtel is charging 1rs per day. In that package they added one number as my friend which unknown number to me ([protected]). I called the customer care they told me to call
                        12141/ 5/3 [protected]/ 1 to deactivate the number and plan. But this IVR is not at all working. I called customer care again they started telling another process. which also not working. Please some one help me to deactivate this number.                           I have 5 airtel postpaid connections and am facing problem. Airtel Saharanpur head office name Pearl Communication (Relationship Center) send people for collecting bills for my all 5 numbers and i found them doing fruad in bills for examble they give me reciept of rupees 1500 as per the bills but they deposit 1450 rs. like this way they frauding sumwhere around 250 - 300 rupees per month sometime they used to come twice for same month bills bills. I caught them at the end of September and i did telephonic complain to 121 but 5 days has been passed but i did't get any responce from the company.

                            I have a airtel corporate no [protected] of bill plan RA10 Cug 300, which was on 0 rental.
                            Today I got a sms stating that your plan has been revised now your monthly rental will be rs 199.
                            This is a clear cheating, first of all company had given 0 rental then after sometime they are charging 199
                            without any prior notification. Please look after this issue.

                                    I had a broadband connection from airtel which I discontinued two years back after paying all dues. But I kept getting calls from Airtel to pay my bills for the same number. After contacting relationship centre, one week back, I find that the number is still operational at a different address but under my credentials including Name, mobile number and email ID which is why I was still getting the mails and call from Airtel. I tried contacting the customer service but to of no avail, they say that the number or account number is not valid. The relationship centre guys tried but could not solve my problem. I tried contacting people at Airtel office in Indore but they are not available. I got calls from some advocate in Mumbai saying that a case has been filed against me for not paying bills which amounted to around 7500 INR. I hold an airtel mobile number also which has been with me for the last 4 years and never can anyone find any instance of me not paying my bills. I had always been very prompt at paying all my bills. This is classic case of identity theft that can happen to anyone. Also shows the negligence of Airtel at guarding the information of customer or verifying the addresses.

                                      This is Mohammed Mujahid Khan
                                      from Hyderabad.
                                      my airtel num is (+91 - [protected])

                                      when i purchased a new airtel 2g simcard and activated of Rs.98/- Gprs plan i get 15-20 kbps insted of 30 kbps speed,
                                      but after a month again i activated this plan I am getting average speed of 2-3 kbps instead of 30 kbps here.
                                      i am using Nokia 6300 handset. The gprs speed is very poor. I complained customer care.
                                      but these persons are just showing their blank faces and also doing nothing. Is this your services.
                                      and i tried 3g also on this same number in sonyericssion k800i 3g handset in this 3g plan also i am getting 15-18 kpbs instead of 3.6 mbps
                                      day by day the speed is decreasing.
                                      there is a average grps speed in 2g is 30 kbps, and in 3g 3.6 kbps. then why you people giving 2-3 kbps in 2g and 15-18 kbps in 3g.


                                      i hope you will solve my problem as soon as possible

                                      how much time you people taking to solve a problem? i complained on 30 sep. 2011 but now the day is 4 oct. 2011.
