Hi, I have logged the request for shifting of my airtel landline number with broadband from my old house to new house ( which is only 1 km far from old house) Vasundhara, Ghaziabad in Airtel Costomer Care on 24th August 2011. The complaint number was 2877912 and got deadline 26th August 2011 by Airtel for completing the shifting. But till 27 its not done. I have called many times in Airtel customer care from 27 August to 29 August 2011 but always got reply this will be done today. One of Customer representative told me that my complaint was not logged correctly so she has raised a new complaint num 3163304 on 29th August 2011. She has given me the deadline 30 th August 2011 but still not done. Then after having fatique, i have called in Nodal officer of airtel ( to esclate the issue). I have also called many times in Nodal office but still not got any satisfy answer. Few of them also told me deadline but still not achieved by airtel. I am surprised what is the problem why it is delaying. I never expect such type of service by Airtel. Please some one help on this and resolved my problem asap.

Airtel Broadband — Shifting of Landline & Broadband connection

We have raised a request to move our Landline and broadband connection to our new home on last tuesday[protected].The dealline of the request was 48 hours.But even after 1 week its not yet done.I have called customer care on 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th of september and raised compaints regarding the same.But still nobody from airtel backend office have contacted us even regarding the location of new home.

We have to pay this months full rent also,even if we are not using the broadband service of last one week.
I have updated my new address to Airtel on Sept 5th. Daily twice to customer care has been no use just waste of my money and listening to the IVR. Noone has yet contacted me or service person in my place.

Please take the necessary action for the same.

Airtel — Issue with Landline shifting

Hi Friend,
I am having a Airtel landline and Broad band approx. for the past 18 months. Recently i have requested for my landline shifting to new location with in chennai (near to Ampa Skywalk) on Aug. 23 , 2011. They said it will be shifted in 3 days , after 3 days they said that it will take maximum of 10 days due to up-gradation process is going on in Airtel. After 10 days, i am keep on calling them to their customer care about my land line request status from that day onwards at least 2 times per day but they keep on responded me with your landline will be shifted "As soon as possible". After few days only i get to know the meaning of "As soon as possible" is equal to in-definite period. I got frustrated with their process and they harassed for one month . So, i have decided to make them pay for their bluffing game with the customer.
Note :- Even before requesting for shifting the landline, i taught of cancelling the connection because of earlier issues Airtel regarding billing issues but they made me believe that they will provide better service but after that it became too worst . Please try to understand by seeing this note, how much i got frustrated with Airtel.

Please do the needful and get back to me with necessary informaton about how to go further with them.

    That "free" internet access is perhaps applicable only for "Airtel Live" and not for general internet surfing. That's why you're being billed/charged for it. Same happened to me for Vodafone "3 days unlimited internet" package. I was being billed, later Vodafone told me its only for Vodafone Live and not general internet access.

    My suggestion: Try connecting with "Airtel Live" connection instead of "Mobile Office" connection => you'll find it in your connection settings.

      Dear Sir,
      I am getting msg from 555630, 50101 regularly. I can not understand that how this type of service automatically activate without any responds from me. This is so many time that, I have face problem of this type of msg. and automatically deduct my balance. I have also try to talk customer care so many time through 121, 123 and 198 but at end time the call has been disconnect automatically. By the msg “thank you for calling artel.”

      So I have try to start DND through online and I have get two time massage that your request has been accept. And the msg are :
      1. “Dear customer, please enter following unique identification code on Airtel’s DND registration page to complete your registration nT7b” and I did that but the result is zero. Dt-23-aug-11
      2. “Dear customer, please enter following unique identification code on Airtel’s DND registration page to complete your registration 0HDa” there after the result was zero. Dt-29-aug-11

      Thereafter my balance deduct one by one. So I want to know why your network is very irresponsible.

      So I kindly request to you please deactivate, if any service activate in my mobile “+91 [protected]”. And return my balance. Other wise I should be change my network

          Dear Sir,

          I bring to you a case o[censored]nauthorised charges levied on my Airtel cell no. [protected] (owned by Mrs. Vinita Maheshwari).

          From 3rd May 2011 till 6th May, I have been charged exorbitantly (Rs. 8910/-) for continuous internet usage. I had not used any such service on my mobile during above period.

          Airtel team is chasing me since then for ourstanding payment for the service that is not utilised by me.

          Kindly help me settle the case as I have not used any such service between 3rd May to 6th May 2011.

          I am able to access internet services on my mobile phone through my airtel sim card but it doesn't work on my computer when i use it with a modem. When i want to talk to the customer care executive, the call gets automatically disconnected.
          company was cheat with me and claimed for outstanding amount for decission taking time period late fee charge

          I checked in airtel site for 2G internet usage (2 GB) in airtel site and found that it is Rs199 and recharged my mobile for Rs.199. When I turned on my internet all my account balance got deducted.

          When I contact customer care, the representative told that offer is for Rs.198. Why don't u update ur site with correct details?

          My mobile number is [protected] and it is under 299CUG plan with internet usage of 1GB limit.

          My mobile credit limit is 3600 rupees.

          In the monthly bill statement, on 11-Feb-2015 it is showing high usage and it crossed 1GB without using internet from my side.

          For the overall bill cycle, it is showing 1.8GB as consumed. For the 0.8 GB, customer service is asking me to pay around 8000 rupees.


          The issue was reported on 11-Feb-2015 and customer service updated me through SMS on 13-Feb-2015.

          During internet limit crossing and amount limit crossing, customer service did not provided me any intimation till next 2days i.e 13-Feb-2015.

          From 14-Feb-2015 my outgoing is blocked and asking me to pay the bill for around 8000.

          Today, my SIM got suspended.

          I am using this number from last 3.5years and never my bill crossed 600 and never my internet usage reached 1GB.


          Airtel Customer service doing wrong internet charges in the bill and asking to pay 8000 for 0.8GB.


          Also in market, for 1GB cost is around 200 rupees. But for post paid customer, playing the GIMMICKS and asking to pay the mentioned amount.


          Kindly help me in resolving this issue.

          i am your regular customer for the last 7-8 years, i have 1GB, RS 150 Plan. my bill period is from 22 to 23 . my bill is very high.on feb 5 i stopped using internet when my data came near 1gb so that i will not have any extra charges includ into my bill, even i call 121 nerly 22nd feb to stop my internet services. but inspite of all my internet bill is high.kindly waveoff my extra amount, kindly left me with some option so i cannot terminate my all four numbers from your company.
          My Airtel no [protected], the net pack I recharged for 3g is taking away useless data usage only for simple browsing its taking away 40-50 MB data usage for single click. pls check this and do the needful.

            Dear sir,
            I had flexi recharge on my mobile no. [protected] by Rs. 110 on dated 25.07.2011 then talk vlue Rs.105 is not credited in my main acount ,it is credted in my dedicated acount . So I can not use this value .After this I contact to customer care airtel representative said you are further recharge from some small value then this dedicated value transfered to my main acount . I am again recharge by Rs. 35 on dated 04.08.2011 , yet this talk value are not transfer to my main acont . After this customer care / Sr. officer are not given proper response.
            Then I am contact through mail then he replied your talk value vaild for 15 days and have expired
            I want from airtel they extend my valdity next 15 days on same Talk value.

            The complaint is regarding online mobile recharge.
            I thushar v john with mobile no. [protected] had recharged online for a amount Rs 205/- .
            Then i got a message on my mobile saying the recharge amount is not correct and my recharge was not done and my acc was deducted the above amount. then i tried calling the customer care and twice my call was disconnected with out giving a solution pl help me..

              Airtel / Bharti Cellular — Services failure, poor quality of response

              Here is a copy of letter sent ot airtel ( Mr. Jadwani ) , Indore. Still company has taken no action.

              Dear Sir,

              This is to bring to your notice the worst quality of service experience that I have received as a consumer of your company in last few months. Please note my complaints as follows:-
              1. I requested Airtel call center to activate “Airtel to airtel” roaming on 1st Oct 2006. I confirmed after 5 hours from your call center, and I was informed that the same has been activated. Both of the above calls were from Indore. After reaching Mumbai, I realized that the roaming service was not activated. I tried calling your Mumbai call center but my call was hung up even before I could explain the situation. This was again repeated. Finally, I was able to talk to some one and explain my situation in third attempt. This person tried to understand the problem and then log the compliant. But he asked my at least 10 questions to verify that the right person is on the line. I believe that was just double of what a bank would ask me before money transfer. But still after all this the roaming facility was not activated for the whole day. Next day I went to Airtel office at Tardeo, Mumbai and requested the lady on the counter to help me. She asked me to contact Airtel Indore. This was just unbelievable. I left my number with her as she half heartedly assured “She will try, if it is possible”. Hence my roaming facility was activated only late in night on 3rd Oct’06. I could use the phone only on 4th Morning. This lead to a loss of important information and client calls for me. Therefore , I request you to pay :-
              a. Loss of Business (based on my salary) - Rs. 6,000
              b. Personal agony/ mental harassment - Rs. 10,000
              c. Taxi charges – Rs. 200
              d. Call charges – Rs. 20
              e. Total – Rs 16,220 only
              Please ensure the payment is done in next 10 working days.
              2. Following this, I called your call center on 9th Oct 2006 in morning. The Customer care executive did not know how long he was going to take so he had put me on hold. Then the call was forwarded to the senior executive who promised to get back to me with complaint no. and has not done the same. Please ensure that such complaints are redressed properly, and also inform about the action taken against both the executives (from Mumbai and Indore call centers).
              3. The signal from airtel is quite poor in our office area i.e. MPSEB, Polo ground, Please take immediate action.
              4. The poor service from Airtel is not a new thing. In July, on 6th and 7th i.e. my marriage day, Airtel disconnected my no. without intimation. The reason quoted was “Customer verification not done”. In reality your agent/ employee took an appointment with me three times and did not turn up at right time (even near to that). I think it is right time to include the same incident in the grievance list. Please provide a proper compensation for the same too (harassment and agony).
              Please inform about your intended action on all the items. In case I do not receive any correspondence in next 12 days, I will be free to exercise any legal action (including but not limited to Consumer forum).

              i have paid for usb datacard from airtel, tardeo and was promised delivery in 2 days. its been 2 weeks and still nothing has been done. i go there 3 times a day everyday and am told will be done in 3 hrs , 4 hrs. worst service and [censored]all mentality. a disgrace to india.               Airtel Mobile — Violation of the offer given by airtel mobile prepaid

              I have recharged my mobile in Aug with 196(approx).In that offer it was mentioned that they will charge only half rupee for local calls but now they are charging 1 rupee.I lost money because of the vilation of that offer by airtel prepaid services.when i called customer care they answered recklessly that they dont have any information of my number.My mobile no is :[protected].As telling Airtel services are good its not fair to do like that.Please get my offer back to me.

              Airtel — voilation of the offer given

              I purchased the airtel prepaid(no [protected]) in december2008 and recharged for rs 398 with 50paise local cal rate and 1rupee std valid for one year.but after six months with out my notice call rates incresed to 1 rs lacal and 1.50rs per std cal. so I contacted costomer care and also registred complant with nodal officer Bangalore circle. customer care dont have any answer and no reply from nodal officer.
              I think airtel cheated me. intially to attrct costomers they given the offer later withdrawn themselves. So please look in to the matter and take suitable action on the culprits.

              Prepaid Airtel service
              I purchased a Airtel Prepaid mobile connection(SIM Card) in the month of February, 2010 from the Airtel dealer – R. Naresh & Co, Chepauk, Chennai -600 005. Airtel Prepaid mobile number is [protected]. I was using the number without any issue till 9th of March 2010.

              On March 09th, 2010 I got a address verification call from the Airtel customer service representative and he told that the address verification is done and the number will be activated in 30 minutes. But it was not activated till next day morning and I’m unable to contact the Customer care from my Airtel number.

              Then I contacted from a landline telephone booth spending my own money on March 10th, 2010. The representative promised me that the number will be activated in next 1 hour. But it was not worked. So I called twice the customer care, but the problem was not resolved and I’m redirected to a manager, Mrs. Shanthi. She told that the address verification process is completed successfully and there is no issue with the verification. Then she promised me that the problem will be resolved instantly but it was not. Again I called Shanthi and she asked me to contact the dealer. I met the dealer in person by spending my own money for transport and explained my issue to him. But he is not ready to listen about my complaint and he ignored and insulted me.

              Again I called the customer care and asked for the Manager Shanthi but she was not available, so I explained my problem from the beginning to another manager Mrs.Sudha. She was also not able to resolve the problem. So she asked me to wait for next 24 hours and promised that she will resolve this issue within 24 Hrs.

              So I waited and After 24 hrs I called the customer care and talked to a manager Mr. J Dinesh. I explained problem once again from the beginning and He is also not able to resolve the problem. I asked for explanation about the problem and he was unable to explain the exact problem and answered like “May be this or that”. Again he asked me to wait for another 24 Hrs

              I’m frustrated and mentally dippresssed. I have the following complaint against Airtel:

              1. On March 09th, 2010 they are not verified whether the activation was successful. WITHOUT NOTIFICATION THEY DEACTIVATED MY NUMBER and when they activated the number, they IGNORED TO VERIFY MY ACTIVATION STATUS.
              2. Whenever I used to call the customer care they asked me to explain the problem from the beginning and they are not able to retrieve about my complaint history. So they not able to respond effectively. It displays about THE POOR QUALITY OF AIRTEL’S CUSTOMER COMPLAINT TRACKING SYSTEM.
              3. The Airtel Dealer (R. NARESH & CO, CHEPAUK, CHENNAI -600 005) ill-treated me and not responded appropriately to the customer. So He does not know or capable to hold the dealership for mobile connections. Action against the dealer must be taken after the enquiry. He should be banned to run the mobile communication dealership from all the mobile communication service providers. AIRTEL DOES NOT HAVE APPROPRIATE SYSTEM TO TRACK THE DEALERSHIP QUALITY.
              4. I have missed a very important business call which caused me a huge loss because of this problem. So AIRTEL NEED TO EXPLAIN ABOUT MY COMPLAINT AND THEY SHOULD COMPENSATE ME FOR MY LOSS.

              They should update me about the actions that they have taken on the above to me through mail.

              Its not my concern, I have raised a complaint against your service. I have asked so many question in this forum and also to your customer care representatives, nobody can able to give me the exact cause for this problem. the information I got from your side is redundent which worries me and I'm frustrated calling your customer care due to the false commitment given by your representative so far.

              And still the issue continues as follows.

              As told by Mr. J Dinesh, I have waited for 24 hrs. but he never called me to my alternative number as he promised (why are you people giving false commitments this causes really?) they never kept their word.

              Then I called the customer care and talked to a manager Mr. Gopi, He asked me to contact the same dealer who ill treated me and ignored to help me. So I wonder that Dinesh and Gopi's replies are contradictory. And after a long conversation Gopi redirected the call to another manager Mr. Anand Kumar

              Mr. Anand kumar asked me to wait for another 4 Hrs. and I wonder that If he has confident to resolve this issue within 4 hrs. then what thery did from 9th to 12th march on this issue? This raises a question that they are not giving much important and it displays the ignorance about my complaint.

              I waited for 4 Hrs as per Anand kumar request, but the problem not resolved, so I called him again. He redirected me to another manager Mr Vinoth.

              Mr. Vinoth asked me to wait for another 48 Hrs. i.e. till monday and promised that he will give the solution to the problem. (As per previous history on this complaint they never kept their word, so I'm waiting for monday)
              1. Mr. Rakesh will you answer me the above questions, and Don't you understand the importance of the communication device to a person?
              2. If you are taking 5 days to resolve a issue then who will compensate my loss?
              3. I have given my numbers to my clients, friends and other important persons. If they contact me during this period, then it'll give a wrong display about my responsibility. Do Airtel understand these kind of customer's communication importance as a service provider?
              4. Airtel don't have any alternative solution if the card is blocked for this many days? Isn't questions about your quality of service?

              Please answer to the all the above questions (including the questions on my previous comments)?
              i got post paid connection before 3 days and i never got the sim card they told me that they will give the sim card via curior bt i didnt recived yet, , , and even in airtel bharti they r not giving proper answer to me in ahmedabad...

              Bharti Airtel - Prepaid Mobile Connection — Poor Quality of Service

              It has been 4 years since me and my wife are using the Airtel Prepaid Connection.
              Considering the better offers on Airtek to Airtel calling we recommended the same to our other family member as well.

              However past 4 years is a journey of Pathetic Service, Clueless Customer Care Executives, levying of charges for services not subscribed, etc.

              It has happened atleast 10 times with us, that a particular VAS is activated like Spicy Jokes, Cricket Alerts, Daily Internet Plan, etc. It is atleast manageable for someone like me to speak to the customer care (who responds in a manner that default activation from Airtel is not their lookout and we need to understand them) and get it reversed. Think of someone who is 60 years old and handles mobile since it is conveneint to speak to his son / daughter. Older member fail to even notice the deducation in balance and it is highly impossible for them to speak to customer care and get the things reversed, resulting in loosing out on hard earned penny. Also imagine the pain I need to undergo to get reversed Rs. 5 - 10 deducation after holding for long time and making the customer care executives understand who are in their own world. The question isnt about Rs.5 - 10 but why do we suffer for Airtel's technical difficulties?

              In between there came a SMS pack which offered free SMS'es. We recharged with specified denomination and started using it. When I got to know that despite activating the pack my balance is getting deducted per sms, I called up the customer care. I got all possible answers - Switch off the phone and switch on after sometime, It will be activated by Evening, It will be activated in 2 / 4 / 24 Hours. At one point of time it was activated after 8 - 10 days. Reasons best known to Airtel itself.

              Last week I recharged in the Morning and evening when I saw the service reply my entire balance was eaten up. To check out on the same I called customer care. Now customer care were able to view a different Number instead of mine. When I gave the correct number he told me to switch off and switch on after sometime. Imagine my SIM Card being activated with a Different Number inspite of mine. I called up few others to check what that number was and indeed my SIM was automatically Displaying Another Mobile Number. The same problem occurred next day. Reasons when enquired, were in general and no constructive answer given.

              Last week all of a sudden Me and my Wife's outgoing was blocked stating that it was a Government of India Directive and that we needed to submit the Documents. Being a Banker I can undestand the importance of KYC in the current scenario.
              However I would like to know what happened to our Documents submitted earlier ?
              Whats the assurance that they are in safe hands, since now we are asked to resubmit the documents again?
              Still if its a government decision to resubmit the documents, why can't Airtel before blocking the outgoing call the customer and inform about the same?
              Even if wee do resubmit the documents is Airtel going to give acknowledgement of documents accepted so that in future we have a record with us?
              My wife called up Customer care and made a fair attempt to tell that we had submitted documents at the time of purchasing the SIM. But she was told to resubmit the same again with plain reply that its a Govt order.
              Strangely the next day our outgoing started (we didn't even provide any documebnts) and again after 3 days my Wife's outgoing was blocked for same reasons.
              Since we both are working and Sunday is the only weekly off, we decided to go on Sunday. To our surprise all Airtel Relationship Centre's were closed on Sunday.
              I know this issue happening to my friends having a Vodafone Connection. At that time, Vodafone kept the stores open till 12 midnight. Atleast they are lending a helping hand to customers painful agony.
              Here look at the Approach from Airtel.
              When we passed on the form throgh our family member the same was returned stating the photo was too small pasted on the form.
              Let me tell you that the space provided for Photograph is small only and we pasted what was manageable in that photo space.
              However the same was denied by Relationship Centre and now we again need to resubmit the same.
              Lets see what we have more in store.

              I feel writing about call drops, Network issues will be a waste of ink as Company feels it is the basic right since they provide the service to us.
              The DND aspect has been violated by Airtel Callers only who call and offer better Post paid plans.

              I am sure that there are many like us who suffer but aren't able to write / complain as we hardly get time in our daily routine and this is exactly what works in favour of such companies.

              Since I do not wish to change the Mobile Number, I am holding on. With Number portability perhaps we can look ahead and subscribe to other service providers, but even then am not sure if others will be able to better this as everyone is in the rat race to acquire customers and increase profitability with little or no attention paid to areas listed above.

              We together look forward to some kind of assistance from your side so as to make our pain reach the right person and it benefits to everyone in the society availing the services.

                I am Himanshu Soni (mob: [protected]) and want to log a complaint against Airtel Telemedia Services.
                I have took airtel broadband connection ([protected]_kk) 8 months back, there were no issues for initial 2 months. but dont know what has changed after that i stopped receiving my bills and receive it only when i log a complaint to airtel and that to duplicate bills not the original one after n number of follow-up.

                so, i stopped making payment as i was not receiving the bills, then they disconnected my line and then again i chased them like anything finally a person came to my house with the duplicate bills. I made the payment and then they released my line back and i received assurance from appellate officer that in future i'll not face the same again.

                But I again faced the same billing issues, they charged me rental for the time span when they had disconnected my line and had not received the bills for same as well. so have not made the payment again and logged complaints, worte to appellate officer again they took 8 day to respond with no solution but with problem ticket numbers like 2724542, 2443694... which got closed without any solution to me.they have again disconneted my line since 9th August and wantted me to make the payment, yesterday i received the duplicate bills for last 3 months. I had a talk with appellate officer asked them to release my line and i'll pay the money.but they dont agree to it, they want payment first... I dont trust airtel any more because they have no value for customers.
                they have charged me again rental for entire month, thought they have disconnected the services.
                Now i have gave-up and placed a request 2991786 for the cancellation of my line, which they took with no regret.

                  Dear All,

                  We are using the wi fi connection of airtel for the last 20 days. It is so sad that the service is so poor. We have connected two laptops and wireless conection for one is not working...and fore the other one its so slow that it takes ages to browse. There is no way that we can lodge a complaint on the toll free number as the message comes only in a regional language that we do not know.

                  The problems:

                  * One laptop can be used only via the lan cord...whats the use of the wireless service. The team is unable to configure and telling us that the drivers are bad..where as we have got it checked twice but there is no problem.
                  * The promised speed is not coming anytime.
                  * On one laptop to open one page it takes 5 minutes.


                  Dear airtel..we had so much faith in you.....and these simple problems cannot be fixed by your team...what shall we do please tell us.

                      This is with much agony and pain, I am writing the horrifying experience I have undergone with airtel department. Recently someone from Airtel bill recovery department is calling all my client s, friend and relative regarding for payment of my outstanding bill of telephone no[protected].
                      I would like to recall airtel that I have some issue going on with the bill department regarding the overcharging in my bill. I have mentioned to the concerned department that until and unless my queries will be sorted out I am not going to pay outstanding bill.
                      I am extremely disappointed and very shocked today when I discovered that someone is calling from airtel department or any other concerning department from airtel to whom airtel have given authority to recover bill are calling all my friends, client ,and to whomsoever call has been made by that number regarding my outstanding bill . The way they are speaking to them is very discourteous, unprofessional and they are threatening them too. Airtel Billing department is ordering them that they also have to face consequences for the same and infact they have to pay my outstanding bill.
                      This is really very horrifying experience that how dare can some one call to my clients, relatives, or my friends and ask them to pay my bill . I have gone through airtel agreement and there is not such kind of clause or terms and conditions are mentioned that without solving your customer’s query airtel are going to call your customer‘s friend, relative and client s to recover the bill.
                      Airtel attitude is really disturbing my mental peace. This is not the way that airtel are dealing with their customer. According to law you have to send legal notice if someone is not paying the bill and again I am reminding you until and unless my problem will be solved I am not going to pay any kind of outstanding bill .and the process your are adopting is really horrifying . if you not going to stop all these activities I am going to sue your company for such kind of irresponsible behaviour and for giving a dent on my social status by your stupid act.
                      I will take my solicitor assist if you are not going to cease all this immature way as soon as possible.
                      If things will not be sorted out immediately then I am sorry to say that I am going to take legal aid or media’s assistance for your entire unintelligent act.
                      Looking forward for clarification.

                        I regret to inform Bharti Airtel that your billing section/customer care people are hopeless & one day will come when customers like me shall be helpless to leave Airtel. I don't have any option left. Airtel people started activating unwanted services without my consent on my number & I objected this routine excercise. In some cases they refunded the amount, but their attitude was negetive. At last I decided to Port my number. Now the problem is that I'm unable to get PAC from Airtel. They have blocked my number & I'm unable to send massage on 1900. Even they have blocked 198 customer care access on my number. I had complained for this calling alternatevly through 1909 but another problem " our system is not working call after 24 hrs" from last two days I'm listening the same voice. What to do with Airtel?.
                        Summary of Problems:
                        1. Activation o[censored]nwanted services.
                        2. Unable to send MNP msg on 1900 & get PAC .
                        3. Unable to contact/call Customer Care through 198
                        4. When call through 1909, no solution find their system down, no help.

                        I request Airtel to kindly look into the matter & let me free from Airtel by providing PAC. I don't have any faith in Airtel.

                        Bharti Airtel — Charging for services unable to deliver

                        Yesterday, I spoke with Airtel customer care officer, after a long waiting in the queue, which is very usual for Airtel customers..... I enquired for NOP (Net Over Phone) services for my windows enabled Mobile handset and he provided me the required information and the plan details...
                        I went on with the activation process and with no delay in the requested time they deducted specified amount Rs. 99/- from my balance.

                        Now today i got all the settings from them to activate it on my set..... after a few trials when i found nothing workable then again i spoke to the customer care center and then i got the shock of my life... they said on my handset it cant be activated.... and the money which i have paid for services will not be refunded or adjusted......

                        What the hell customer service people AIRTEL have...., if they cant provide me serices then why they have activated it and deducted from my balance.... ?

                        Is there anyone in higher management who is listening to complaints of customers and get the justice done....?

                          Dear Mr. Sunil,
                          We had taken a Land line cum broad band connection from your company - Tel no.[protected]
                          at our residence in Jaipur Rajasthan in 2007.
                          In June 2011 we requested your office through help line no. to shift the phone to another address in Mansarover Jaipur. We were informed that Barti Airtel did not have a network in Mansarover so shifting was not possible. Hence we requested for disconnection.
                          Till date disconnection has not been done.
                          We have also been assured of disconnection in response to our e-mails to [protected]@airtel.in.
                          We have also requested for the final bill to settle our legitimate due up to 12 th. June 2011 when we shifted from the old address.
                          Till do day we have not received the final bill.
                          What we are receiving are numerous call daily at odd hours from different persons asking us to provide names of potential customers. This is very annoying & disturbing.
                          Today I have recorded the converstion with one Nitin Barwa ([protected]) at 3.30 PM & Kamal ([protected]) at 5 PM both the conversations were very impolite and annoying.
                          I request you to immediately send me the final bill for this connection.

                          I had been using an airtel broadband service and the connection was in the name of Sandeep Kumar Singh. I have shifted residence and had sent a mail for disconnection. I even paid a the bill balance of about ₹400. I had even called up the customer care and updated them about my disconnection request. As asked by the customer care i have even submitted a hard copy of my initial request for disconnection at the nearest Airtel office. However i still keep getting calls at all times even at 10pm at times.
                          i have reached the end of my patience and really dont know how to go about it. I just want an end to these phone calls

                              This is regarding Faulty Digital DVR provided by Airtel. I have purchase Airtel DVR on[protected] since than the DVR is giving horrible time to me

                              Complaint List is endless:

                              1. It remains hang most of the time.
                              2. Response time from Remote Command is over 5 Seconds.
                              3. Suddenly screen goes blank.
                              4.Can not record and says "Sorry you can not record this channel"
                              5. Between time of watching Subscribed Channel say's "You are not subscribed o this channel"
                              6. Takes over 3 Minutes to boot up.
                              7. Channel information not available on many channel shows after switching off and on.

                              Since I have purchased DVR I have registered 20 complaints and every time we try to register complaint Customer Care the Executive act like that we are STUPID and doest not even know about anything and even say we could not get your problem and this time your problem shall be solved once for all. Technician have no idea of problem and says DVR to replace.

                              This DVR of Pace is having hardware and software issues and you wont believe on me that it had been replaced twice in last 4 months but my problem is still the same. Is there anybody in Airtel who is listening to me. Please help ???????????????????.

                                Airtel Digital TV is not working for more than 10 days. After consulting with dealer we have registered a complaint on 21.08.2011 with Airtel as complaint no. 11142556. After 2 days one service engineer came and he says the dish to be relocate and cost of migration is Rs. 200. But he couldn’t resolve the problem till now. The attitude of Airtel dealers / customer care is very harsh and they are not bothered to look into the issue. We are now in so much trouble that the TV is not working for more than 10 days now and we do not have any other option. On 27.08.2011 we have registered another complaint 11355399. Please look into this. Awaiting for a positive response. Many Thanks in advance.

                                  I am facing some strange problem from Airtel Chennai, We cannot dial ISD to Austrian ( like Scheibbs city, code 7482) cities they(Airtel Account. Manager) are telling Austrian cities codes are not available in Airtel Chennai Landline Exchange system. Since my Company Head office is there. It’s useless to Using Airtel Landlines....
                                  and they have useless customer care. If you are sending any complaints. They will call you after 3 days and will ask what is the problem. It you are explain again they will sent. Will bet back to you before 72 hrs. It’ll go like endless service..... I fed-up with Airtel Service

                                    My airtel no is [protected]. I have been using the service for more than 8 years now and had opted for the DND facility two years back. Even then, i was getting a lot of messages from TA/TM services, which for the time being i managed to sort out after numerous approaches to the customer service. Off late, I started getting spam messages from various vendors registed under way2sms.com. Instead of complaining to airtel customer services, i tried contacting the vendor and requested to remove my no. This met success with atleast 10 of them. But, there is a sticky one who sends message every day at 5.00 am informing that i had won a BMW car and lottery of 5,00,0000 GBP. I cannot send messages to this no nor call. But it shows this number +91 [protected] and an email id of [protected]@london.com. This has become a real burden during the early hours of the morning. Kindly look in to it and take action against these vendors.

                                    Airtel — Spam messages are received after registering for DND

                                    I have registered for Do Not Disturb service. Lately I have been receiving spam messages from Hypercity, TVC, hair, DrBhatras,bop etc.and many many more Please deactivate all the services ASAP.
                                    I do not see the purpose of DND if i still get such spam SMSs.

I had purchased this card from Archies Gallery,N.A.C Market,Sector-2,Rourkela-769008.I dully completed all the required details and documents required by the Airtel. I had purchased this last week of July 2011.It got activated on the same day.Then after 10 days i got the message that my number got deactivated due to non submission of required documents.Again i went to the same shop and submitted the documents,then also after two days i didnt get my number activated.So,i went directly to Airtel Office,Udit nagar,Rourkela,Orissa to submit my documents.After submitting the documents to them my number got activated and next day i got the message that my documents got received in the office.After that i used for two weeks i.e till the last week of August 2011.Then again now i got the message that my "Sim Registration is Failed".Since then i am not able to use my sim.
                                        I dont know what is the reason for this message i tried to ask customer care and Airtel office people but they didnt reply me properly and they are saying that they dont know reason and i cant get the same number back.My number is having a balance of more than Rs.350.I want to know the reason why it is happened to my number i need a justice for this.I have suffered so much due to this in the mean period time.
