I had been with the airtel for more then 03 years, but due to negligence in the services and poor commitments, I requested airtel for a disconnection on 13 th July as my prepaid account was expiring on the 25th July (This is well before 07 Days (required as per TRAI Regulations) before the actual date of connection).
Also I received the retention call from the Airtel Side, which I denied and asked for proceeding for the disconnection.
On the 07th August I received the Bill again which was supposed for asking for payment of the bill again for next billing cycle. Which when enquired the appellate person said that i was "retained" which I denied. And asked for instant closing of the account. Also I as had already migrated to some other ISP, I was not using their internet services, but still they persisted that I was using the internet. And from that movement ahead, I am being harassed for calls/msg/mails for payments.
Hence to protect myself Also to have action all the harassment caused by this incident, I had to prepare to file court case.
I went to their office and provide a signed letter a notice , which they had to accept, but still, there were no people who were ready to talk with me.
On visiting Airtel website, there is supposedly a person that called Surendra Sen who should be the actual appellate authority present as per the documents submitted to TRAI. BUT the appellate team accepts that there is no appellate member called as Surendra Sen. So AIRTEL HAS CHEATED THE TRAI? As it is submitting false personnel's details in its documents?
Whenever I call the appellate, I have spoken with nearly all the agents, I ask where can I meet your appellate person as I have to hand over the Notice as required by the Consumer Court directives. but I have never received the reply for the same. The appellate officer says that they have to check for the details in their system. funny?? they sit in the Vega Center swargate...?
Also as per the TRAI mandate, it is essential for the customer to easily connect to the appellate officer. YOu can try, and all you will have an IVR, which will leave you only disappointed and clueless. This is a violation of the TRAI guidelines. ( I have recorded the options and my dialogues with the apellate desks, can provide to whomsoever interested).

Kindly note that I have asked for the address where I can forward the legal notice also I have asked you to arrange a meeting with the appellate/authorized personnel for the discussion of my compensation and signing the receipt for the communications.
The proceedings are essential as we as customers have to pay "installation/activation/processing fees" and of course the "late fees" also bear disrespects of Airtel's Commitments that are made to us during the sales.
Be aware that Airtel has been duely informed for the same and there is ongoing harassment from Airtel Side for payment which is not justified.
(P.s :- Meeting for the same can be arranged on weekends).

i had already made a lot of complaints to the airtel, but no steps has been taken by the company to resolve it.
almost all the airtel customers are facing this problem in our area.
The reality is this that they told me Airtel has the latest 1800 frequency network (i thought it was awesome) which actually works against a city like Mumbai because we have so many by-lanes and deep indoor restaurants and shopping areas. Inside any by-lane you will never get a full signal - you can check. Unless a Airtel tower is above your head. Whereas the others use the GSM 800 which works wonders for small gallis.
Atfirst I bought the connection with loads of good promises. Most of which were revealed later. So bottomline is this that in a place like Mumbai an Airtel connection will always remain useless. Its difficult to keep changing numbers thats the reason most o[censored]s are still not changing it. But please DO NOT BUY AIRTEL. Its my advice to you guys in purely good faith. So get yourself anything ... just anything in Mumbai other than Airtel.

I had put many complaints against this to the customer care but what i got was only assurance
and no action.
It's really difficult to use Airtel here in this area as the voice is never clear on phone, calls get
disconnected in the middle of a conversation since the network becomes zero and many times you see
zero network bar in the mobile.
There are many customers of Airtel who now are switching to other services like Idea and Vodafone because of their
great network(i.e. the network bars are always 5 out of 5).
I don't know where to lodge a complaint so that an action will be taken.
This has been reported to customer care department several times but all in vain

I have using an airtel no since 4 years, the network has been very weak and the calls are not getting connected when I am in indoor network area. I am residing at a place name muvattupuzha, kerala and the house is situated within your tower area. I have changed recently my handset, thought it is a problem for my phone, but no use after bought a new one.
When i approached the customer care services many times they told me that soon such problems would be solved, but even after months of complaints and e-mails and the tones of complaint lodge no’s, the result is zero. I am completely fed up of the service to my no-[protected]
For getting whoever called me when I am in indoor, I have activated the missed call alert, now you can assume how much I fed up with this connection
I would like to know why I should be paying for the calls that were not connected or not fulfill my use for the connection. Should I be pay for this?
I would request you to please intervene the whole issue and do the needful at an early date.
Take some action against them so they can't make us fool.

When I go to out side from my home location (trans yamuna) my mobile is stop working due to network problem and the massage display on the my mobile screen is Emergency call only .i had make lot of complaints on your customer care and I visited many times in your airtel center but till date I have no received any solution and any information regarding my problem from your side.when I go in airtel center and the executive told to me that I have to purchase a new sim because this sim is not working properly they charged rupees 75 for a new sim. If your sim is not working properly why I afford to pay Rs.75 for new sim instead of you because its your sim fault not mine .my sim is2 months old only . I am purchasing new connection for my benefit only but now I feel that I made a huge mistake by purchasing airtel connection
I observed that your service is very poor and the persons setting in airtel center are careless and bed behave persons. They don’t know the value of customer I am talking about dilshad coloney center,

I, RAGHUVEER, ph.no.[protected], have a complaint on poor network of my AIRTEL sim in my residence.I have been using AIRTEL since 2 years.AIRTEL had the best network when I purchased the sim card but now,sorry to say, it is the worst network when compared to other service providers...
I stay at VASAVI NAGAR, RAMANTHAPUR, HYDERABAD and I am a student of Osmania Medical College which is at AFZAL GUNJ...I can find a good network nowhere in the above said areas.Frankly speaking network is very good outside my house and in the terrace...but If I go outside everytime to attend a call or to make a call,then what is the fun in using mobile phones..instead I would have used land line happily sitting at home.Please do not say that there is some problem with my cell phone.Even my brother ([protected]) has the same problem.I request you to consider this as early as possible.
My problem has not been solved yet and you have posted a comment stating that my concern listed on 15th sept has been solved.Thats a blunder.
I will wait for few more days for an alien to come here to improve my network and I'l change to some other network.Changing the sim is not a big deal.Nowadays buying a sim card is as easier as buying a chocolate.So now Iam left with only one option ie changing the sim and keeping my AIRTEL life time sim card aside in my showcase.

i am from kerala, i am using airtel's mobile service. i am getting poor network coverage inside my home. there is full coverage outside . while coming to the interior signal strength weakens.due to this i am unable to make calls from inside.i have complainted several times against this problem. but got the same reply "we will solve it soon" from customer care.

I made the call to the customer care representative, he transferred the call to the technical team. They told the final decision as "We are not able to do anything .
Again I made the call and the person named "Harish" talked with me. I told everyting from the top to bottom, but he disconnected the call. Every body doing like that, always disconnecting the call.
For Example, try to check Vodafone Network. See how they are talking with the Customers. how Nice. Airtel always using the word as "I am sorry. I am sorry". Whats the use in asking Sorry.. There is No use. Take the Action. Dont ask dummy sorries.
Regarding that i given two more complaints. they put my complaint in Dust Bin. (i think).

We are not getting Mobile network signals of Airtel since 2 year months. We have raised several complaints to the Airtel customer care regarding the issue, but no response we got from them. Infact there are Airtel connections with in the same apartment, and none of them are getting proper signals. It is the situation to stand in the Balcony when we need to talk to any one.
I don't understand, why airtel can't place a booster in our apartment. , I got the call from the customer care, but as per them the tickets were resolved as there is no problem with the signals. But none of the person reached us in the apartment, and we don't know whether they checked the network on the road or with in the apartment.

Iam Sriram Pakkala,the resident of Karnoor,which is in Nettanige Mudnoor village of Puttur Taluk,Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka.My problem is regarding the very Weak Signal from our Airtel tower.The tower that iam mentioning has been erected by GTL Ltd,around 4 years back.It was working fine ever since its installation till 4 months back as it had a good network coverage for around 3-4 km radius.But since last 3-4 months the signal has reduced vastly that even at a distance of 500mtrs from the tower we get not reachable replies from Airtel side.This has affected a lot in day-to- day activities of the local residents who are dependent on this tower.There are approx. more than thousand users around this area who are entirely dependent on this tower.As this area is located in the border of Kerala state,due to roaming problems people here are unable to use any other network services.We have complained regarding this to all regional Airtel authorities of Puttur Taluk.But sad part is that no action has been taken regarding this issue. So I kindly request you to set right my problem as soon as possible as it is affecting our daily business very much.
