Ihave digital services of airtel.it is not working since four days(error code B001) . we made several complaints but it is unattended.Your Kota service head Mr.Sanjay Mishra is not taking the matter seriously.
Complaint was lodged on 30/06/2011 through cc, ref no.9563321 for "video problem".
message recieved is that problem is resolved.
Inspite of contacting your local Kota(rajasthan) office, no proper respose was recived.
Company like Airtel is doing this type of thing!!!!!!!!! Its. Shameful.
Service Head should look into the matter immediately & its a humble request from a customer that "Please keep professional & dedicated staff".

    My query is still unresolved but you (Airtel) writes that it is resolved! I strongly disagree with your comment. I have't downloaded any game @Rs 99 but you deduct my money mischieviously and refuse to refund it. I feel i have been cheated. I used to be a great admiror of Airtel's service and honesty but, sadly, from now on my opinion is going to change totaly.

      This is for the information that we had purchased 31 connections for Delhi ,18 connections for Maharashtra and Gujarat & 10 Sims for other states of north India.in the month of January.

      Our Director had personally written severel letters to Mr Deepak Sharma(Executive airtel [protected] & Mr Rajat Gupta Executive Airtel [protected](the main people who matured the deal)in Airtel for activation of connections.

      After a extreme struggle we got activated the Sims for Delhi, Maharashtra & Gujarat.

      Very Sorry to say 3 connections for U.P & 2 connections for Punjab and 2 sims for jaipur are still pending for activation.Airtel people are not intreasted in activating them also.

      Our people had contacted their executives for number of time either they ask for some new more documents for every time .

      Mr Vijay Kumar (Our Executive) contacted Mr Jagmohan(Contact No. [protected]) & Mr Sukhwinder contact [protected] ( Sales Executives Airtel) They replied Our Madam Mrs Bindu Gupta [protected] does not clear documants in One go, You submit you Id proof then we will tell you what all we require.(They are particularly not intreasted in the deal all three of them)

      Mrs Jaya (Our Coordinater) have mailed the documants to Mr Ambar(Executive Airtel UP)contact no.[protected] for activation but he is also following the same procedure as his collegues.

      Regret to say we have still not revceived any SIMs for jaipur yet.

      This kind of behaviour is never expected from the executives of a company like airtel.They have made a corporate conection so fussy that our company has generated new problems instead of reducing them.

        Dear Sir,

        From Monday[protected] I am contacting on Airtel customer care helpline [protected] to solve Technical error but no one providing any solution. I call them for atleast 30Itimes in this week but every time they commit to send engineer on same or next day. But fact is that no one visited my home untill 20-06-11. And after visiting on 20-01-11 they installed old and defected piece of setup box. Again I start calling and registring my call to customer care and also at the same time I am calling there Nodal officer Mr. K Rao. But the responce and service I am getting is entirly unsatisfactory. Even for the period when there is signal problem, airtel deducted my account at the rate of Rs. 9 per day.
        One request no. which is registered is 9102873.
        Now on today they instaled new setup box again.
        For the same i already in advance deposit Rs. 350 in my account. As you see there no delay from my side but the way Airtel giving service is unsatisfactory.

          Dear Sir,

          I am Mr. Gourav Krishna Parab., holding a postpaid mobile connection of Bharti Airtel Ltd. My Mobile number is [protected]. I was having prepaid connection of this number previously, which I have converted to postpaid. This service has activated on 25th of April 2011. I had checked my bill and paid the same on 19th May 2011 of which due date was 24th May 2011 and Amount was Rs.1050/-

          Even after paying the bill I got call from the airtel for non receipt of payment on 24th May 2011. So I gave the details of receipt to their representative. But after that also I got the call from airtel next day itself. I again shared the same details with them. They could not resolve the issue yet and thereafter I am receiving a call from them every day for the non- receipt of bill. Initially twice or thrice I shared all the details patiently but those calls were not stopped.

          Those calls were going on daily for that whole month almost and I was giving the same information about payment receipt. In the next month I paid the bill for the month of May, Rs. 2400/- after informing the details about the last month payment receipt to the airtel representative on 24th June 2011 which was due on 24th June 2011.

          Even after paying the bills on time and giving the details about the receipt, airtel has stopped my outgoing and GPRS services for four hours. There is another problem I faced during this transaction that their outlet/gallery where I made the payment is closed for so many days. So I could not even trace what happened with my payments. I don't feel that it’s my duty to trace for the payment with their outlet and I am not having that much time for that.

          Now, still airtel representative are calling me and taking my valuable time every day (almost 15 minutes). I am facing this problem for last whole month. I want compensation for the harassment, loss due to the stopped services and time of mine which they had taken. Could you please help me out regarding this? I am sending herewith a scanned copy of the all payment receipts.

            Reason for Termination - Verification Failure due to Customer Out-of-Station

            I purchased Airtel Broadband datacard modem for use during outstation travelling while on move. datacard activated on 24/5/11, while I left town for extensive one month travelling on 25/5/11. On 29/5/11, my new connection was terminated and de-activated for no apparent reason or intimation. I returned home 3 days back and upon enquiry, was told my connection was terminated for non-completion of verification process.
            Surprisingly, while the broadband services were denied to me during my critical travelling, I received a bill for Rs.300.00 odd.
            My complaint -
            1. If the company is unable to complete verification due to non-availability of customer, does it entitle them to terminate services when customer spends 2500/- for availing broadband services?
            2. Company does not bother to intimate customer before terminating connectivity?
            3. Company keeps its billing meter activated while daring to terminate services and keeps charging customer even when broadband services denied?
            4. If such pathetic and irresponsible customer services come from primium institution like AIRTEL, what is the services level with lessor known institutions?

            Dear madam,

            I have been customer of Bharti for last 4-5 years using basic landline and broadband service. There was some problem in Wi-fi modem (provided by Bharti) which resulted in inflated usage of braodband service. I made complaint to you customer care bu to no avail. When protested when I got the inflated bill, your ececutive threatened me to disconnect my connection and his behaviour was very rude and unacceptable. They disconnected my connection without even informing me further.

            Such things cannot be expected from a esteemed company like Bharti. I am sorry to say but I am very frustrated and irritated over the issue. I am a chartered accountant and this number was given to my clients. Disconnection of my phone without any intimation has resulted in a huge loss for me as regards reputation and inconvenience to my clients.

            To pacify the situation, now I have made full payment of the inflated bill on 5th Nov, 2009 on the promise from your executive that my connection would be restored. Since then I have been following-up with your executives but they are not in a mood to entertain me further. They now say that all the lines in my area are busy and this connection cannot be restored and I need to apply for a new connection. I fail to understand as how a new cooncetion can be given on a busy line while an old connection cannot be restored.

            I am feeling harassed and humiliated by the callous and irresponsible behaviour of your staff. Request you to look into the matter seriously and revert with a positive reply.

            Hoping for a quick and positive action for a long-lasting relationship.

              Hi, my name is Vinayak. This complaint is regarding the messages that I am getting daily from 56660 and AM services. Every day I get 2-3 messages from 56660 and 3-4 messages from AM services. From 56660 I get discount offers message and from AM services I get for Airtel services messages. From last 6 months I have called Airtel customer care and given complaint more than 10 times but nothing is working out. I am really getting irritated by this. Every time I call customer care they tell they will resove this, but nothing is happening. This is happening only in Maharashtra. I am from Bangalore and service of Airtel there is excellent. I am using Airtel from last 10 years, but now I am planning to shift to other service providers as I believe service of Airtel in Maharashtra is pathetic. Always they say it will get resolved in 45 days and my DND will be actviated, but till now nothing has happened.

              I just want messages from 56660 and AM services to be stopped.

                I am using airtel digital tv, customer id [protected]. i purchased a new tv for my drawing room, i wanted to shift my airtel digital tv connection from bedroom to drawing room, for this i requested to airtel digital tv's customer care number [protected] on date 21/06/2011 & they promised to fulfill the request by 23/06/2011. This didnt happened. I again called them on 25/06/2011 & they promised same to be done by 27/06/2011. Again this didnt happened. Once again i called them on 30/06/2011 & talked to their senior & he promised to fulfill the request by 01/07/2011 by 4 pm. Again this didnt happened. Each day i had to call them hold the line-explain the whole matter to them-talk to them for near about 15-20 minutes. Its just a waste.
                Their customer care number is very poor, the call disconnects many times talking to them, again one has to call & repeat the same story to them. If you select option for a new connection then one is able to speak to customer care executive that shows they are hungry to sell their products but do not bother at all for after sale services & customer care services.
                Kindly solve this matter & put a heavy penalty on them.

                customer care and the distributors of airtel tv are worst to worst , i got my airtel hd but it was not activated for nearly two days but they got the amount fully . I complaint nearly eight times but no response. airtel tv customer care and mainly their distributors are waste its better to buy sun dth or big.

                  Hi,

                  I'm a AIRTEL (karnataka) user and am on Raoming in hyderabad. Accidentally i got subscribed to Airtel Mobile Tv and have been charged Rs 40 for one week. I thought i will be unsubcribed after that week. To my surprise i have been charged Rs 150 for continuation of the mobile TV service.

                  As i'm in roaming and cant call customer service (as i will be charged hell lot of money again to call karnataka Customer care) i tried Unsubscribing the service by sending TVUNSUB to 54321.

                  I didnt get any confirmation message from them. But thought it got unsubscribed. After a month ,today again i got charged Rs.150 for the same.

                  What the hell is happening. can anyone tell how to bring these guys to justice.

                    My airtel fixedline no.[protected] not working since 20/06/2011 and have made several complaints but all in vain as every new day I am promised to resolve by day end but that is not happening.
                    Further since last 3 days tha airtel complaint no. 198 has also started playing tricks as after 5 minutes of waiting and after reaching the copmplaint by going through all the options the no. simply disconnects making a mockery of my time.

                      I purchased a DTV connection online from Airtel on 28th.

                      Your person has not installed it till now.

                      Your technician came once on 29th and fixed the antenna. But did not install it saying he did not have enough cable.

                      He promised to return on 30th evening by 6.30 pm. I called him at 6.30 and he asked me to buy cable and keep. I bought cable and waited for him till 8pm.

                      since he did not come , i contacted him and he said he cant come and asked me to do what ever I can .

                      Is this Airtel service to customers? I have been using airtel mobile since 2003. never had such bad experience.

                      I have been calling calling your customer care for the past 3 days and I am getting very bad response from there too..

                      please tell me how I can cancell my connection. I WANT TO CANCEL MY CONNECTION AND MY MONEY REFUNDED.

                      Dear Mr.Ranga,

                      I have made 34 calls to your customer care in the past 4 days all in vain. I have been providing all these details to all people.

                      Your person came and installed the connection last evening by around 7pm. But with an error message no:6 saying that I need to recharge to watch channels !!!

                      Its a new connection taken and I was told that if I pay 1590, I will be getting the channels as per the package free for 3 months and that I will also be getting a cash back of Rs.250/-.

                      But then, its all sounding funny and stupid...with a customer taken for a ride ..four days and when I call your customer care last night at 9.30 ( call went up to 10.45 your person taking details and checking and connecting to senior people and like that all in vain and to make fun of the customer ). finally he said that there is no balance in my account and I need to recharge my account !!!

                      I have bought my connection and not even installed and he says I have no balance and should recharge.

                      I was a customer of Airtel since 2003 and never had such a problem.

                          On the 19th June, 2011, I recharged my Airtel Prepaid account with Rs.200/-. This was the message I received:
                          " RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL on[protected] at 08:06PM.Talktime Rs 1.00.MRP Rs 200.00. TransID[protected]. Send 3G to 121 to activate 3G Services

                          20:06 19/6/11 "

                          I got a talktime of Rs. 1.00/- when I recharged my account with Rs.200/-.
                          My phone wasn't on roaming and I had rarely used my phone for outgoing calls, the account balance became zero within a few days, ensuring that there was no error in the above-mentioned message I had received from Airtel on recharging my mobile.

                          On 26th June,2011, I again recharged my Airtel Prepaid account with Rs.100/-. This is the message I received:
                          "RECHARGE SUCCESSFUL on[protected] at 04:25PM.Talktime Rs 0.10.MRP Rs 100.00. TransID[protected]. DIAL 55255(tollfree) for special offer!
                          From: ERecharge
                          16:25 26/6/11 "
                          I got a talktime of Rs. 0.10/- when I recharged my account with Rs.100/-.
                          As in the previous case my account balance became zero in about a single outgoing call, ensuring that there was no error in the message I had received on recharge.

                            I am using a no [protected] and i have ported my number from vodafone to airtel on 25/2/2011 at the time i submited my documents at airtel relationship centre i requested to convert my postpaid no to prepaid but they refused to do so that u cannot convert postpaid to prepaid. u can convert it only after 90 days. after 90 days i went there but they are now saying me that there is no such process to convert a postpaid to prepaid. Please let me know will my number would ever be converted. varun

                              my customer ID is [protected] (Rohin Raina ) mob. no [protected]
                              on 27/06/2011, my tv screen show a message "no signal" & i lodged a complaint with customer care centre ( request No 9492130 for video problem ) and they gave me assurance that the problem will be resolved by 4 pm 28/06/2011.
                              on 28/06/2011 , i received a message that your problem has been resolved while as any body from airtel has neither visited my house nor the problem was resolved and then i contacted customer care again and they answered that they have raised a fresh request ( request NO.9511161 for wrong resolution domino), and the same will be resolved by 1pm 29/06/2011.they also provided me a mob. no .[protected] and told me to contact them, but no body was answering my calls despite my repeated attempts . aat arount 4pm some one attended my call and said that the engineer has already left for my house to resolve the problem....at around 6.30 pm i again contacted them but there was no reply to my call.inOn 30/06/2011 morning i again cintacted them and i was told that within 1 hour my complaint will be resolved .....now its alredy 9pm and no body has attended the complaint and no body is bothered to pick my call ...

                              sir i want to know was it my mistake to choose AIrtel Digital TV because i am using my aitel mobile sim from last 5 years and i thought that they will provide better service and also plz let me know is there is body senior with whom i can lodge my complaint . plz give their contact no.

                                Before 3 months I submit one complaint regarding Airtel rejection of MNP offer, after my complain here They called me from Airtel and they gave me an offer A-A 10 ps and other mobiles 30ps for a daily rental of Rs.1/-. They said to give this offer for 6 months, but before 10 days(ie exactly 3 months after the day they gave me the offer) they send me a message that the offer which I availed will be cancelled and I will be charged 30ps for airtel nos and 60ps for other network, I was shocked. now realished that the offer is a trap to prevent me from porting to other network, the Airtel guys are fakers and I realised that Airtel is very worst deceivers.                                   Sir, I have registered my mobile number on DNC and I am continously being hounded by at least 10 phone calls from the following numbers: [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] all pertaining to AIRTEL CABLE TV. This has been happening since about two months and it is a computer generated voice. These calls come at odd hours or while I am driving. I want your Authority strict action against these people...

                                    Problem started from[protected] when Airtel started charging me for using AirtelLive despite i have activated Rs. 98/- monthly GPRS plan on my mobile a complaint was made by to various airtel authorities and consumer forums on June 1st 2011 and the issue was resolved by refunding Rs. 100/- (on[protected] and Rs. 50/- (on[protected]. That is a total sum of Rs. 150/- was refunded to me against my complaint. Afterwards they started to recover the same by some other means i.e. fraudulently in the name of airteltv. On[protected] at 14.09.19 I got a message from AD-54321 that "Thanks for using AirtelTV subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 150. Latest games http://gclub.in browsing @30p/20kb." After complaint to airtel and copy to trai, different consumer forums etc. I got back Rs. 150/- on[protected]. Again on[protected] Rs. 150/- was deducted from my balance i got similiar message for subscribing aiteltv on my mobile and again after complaining i got back Rs. 150/- on[protected]. Afterwards again on[protected] they deducted Rs. 150/- without giving any reason and after lodging complaint i got back Rs. 150/- on same day and was told that for audit purposed that was happened and will not happen again. But on[protected] again the deducted Rs. 150/- without specifying any reason. After several complaint over e-mail i was not getting any reply form anyone. Finaly after sending various complaint through mail, as reaching cusotmer care was already blocked by them from my mobile, finally got reply on[protected] that Rs. 150/- deducted on[protected] was justified as using airteltv from my mobile earlier which was wrongly credited to my mobile and hence they have deducted the same.

                                    Now the conclusion is that they finally succeeded in deducted Rs. 150/- which they gave me on resolving my complaint on June 2011. This is to be noted that i have never subscribed airteltv and never requested for any such service from airtel by any mode of communication exists. How can I be charged for something with i was not requested and never used.

                                    It is my request that please help me in getting back Rs. 150/- plus compensation for continuosly harassaing me.

                                    As per the justification given by Airtel authorities regarding deduction of balance in the name of VAS named airtelTV is "the value added service namely Airtel TV got activated via clicking on Wap banner link". In this regard I have to say that WHETHER AIRTEL HAS SPREAD ITS VAS SERVICES LIKE DEADLY VIRUSES OVER THE NET IN THE FORM OF WAP BANNER LINK??? FURTHER THOSE WAP BANNER LINKS ARE NOT VISIBLE OR NOTICIABLE TO USERS AND THOSE LINKS GOT CLICKED WHENEVER ANY USER VISIT THE INTERNET AND AIRTEL AUTHORITIES IMMEDIATELY MAKE DEDUCTION OF BALANCE AND SUBSCRIBE THOSE VAS ON CUSTOMERS MOBILE WITHOUT EVEN CONFIRMING THE SAME FROM CUSTOMER. THIS IS UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE, FRAUD AND CHEATING WITH THE CUSTOMER.

                                    Dear Rakesh Ranga,

                                    This is to inform you that my concern listed on 30th June 2011 has not been resolved yet. I have not got my money Rs. 150/- back which was deducted fraudulently. As told by Airtel that I was charged for subscribing AirtelTV by clicking on link in WAP banner. As I told earlier I have not clicked any link on any banner however if the banner was invisible and inadverantly clicked by surfing any other site the god say how the Airtel cheating its customers in the name of VAS.

                                      This is regarding series of billing discrepancies because of which we went to the extreme of disconnecting airtel.

                                      We had the issue with the bill for more than 7 months and the exact issue being the Night usage (post 9PM) has been charged ,which is supposed to be unlimited (we are in Turbo 256 plan taken 3.5 years back where the night usage was unlimited).

                                      And Every Month after making (series of ) calls to Airtel CCR and explaining them the situation , Waiver was provided. Note that this cycle was carried on for more than five months continuously. And for the recent months bill issue wasnt resolved despite making too many calls to the CCRs and this made us decide to cancel airtel connection and had requested for the same !
                                      on 26th JUN , Paul (Santhome Office, Chennai) from Retention Team called up and informed that the retention team understands the issue with the billing and he promised that his team will esculate the issue to Billing department and this issue will be resolved by 3 days.
                                      When i called up Airtel Customer care after 3 days , i was told tht the connection has already been barred and there is no way that retention team would have given such a commitment !
                                      Also i was suggested by the same representative to mail [protected]@airtel.co.in and i would get a response with in seven hours , and as expected no response from their end !
                                      Had also mailed Nodal office and Airtel Presence team regarding same issue and no response from them too.. I still wonder how they can expect loyal customers when they treat ppl this way !!
                                      I am highly disappointed with their entire service and specially Retention Team for giving wrong commitments. I would want airtel team to study the case and fix the issue. Now that if the billing discrepencies are sorted out at the earliest, we would still consider retaining airtel..but failing which we aren't going to care about the cancellation procedure nor the outstanding payments !!

                                      Airtel Broadband — Awful customer service and billing issue

                                      On a real sad note I am writing this complaint but I have been left with no other option. I am a native of Lucknow and had real high aspirations from Airtel before I opted for a broadband connection from them but within a span of 2 and half months my whole perception about the company has changed. Airtel once famous for prompt customer service and action has disappointed me big time. My internet services were bothering me from past 15 days as the speed was not up to the mark but I ignored assuming there might be some technical reasons and problem will get resolved but one fine day the line got completely down.I spoke to the local engineer who initially came for the installation and he committed me that issue will be resolved asap. But after 2 days of non action I spoke to the customer care who committed me that within 4 hours the issue will be resolved but to my shock it took almost 4 days to resolve the issue. During this period I had to constantly call the customer care department and local staff and get mentally harassed. On asking for compensation for all the mental trauma faced by me for the period when the services were down nothing was offered. After everything was finally resolved just day before yesterday local engineer's team came to my place and and no idea what they did and who had asked them to make a visit my internet again stopped working. Once again I had to repeat the entire process of calling the customer care and local team but to no avail.
                                      Another issue that I am facing is that of billing. Since day one I have been telling the Airtel team that I do not require any antivirus pack but they started charging for the same since the first bill. I spoke to the customer care and they told me to make the payment after deducting that amount and they will be de-activating that service and necessary waivers will be done. But again in my second bill the same amount was charged and no waivers were done for the previous charges. I again spoke to the customer care that again I was asked to make the payment after deducting 2 months charges and necessary adjustments will be done. I also have the reference numbers for these requests. But to my horror I have just recieved my third bill and no waivers have been posted and once again the same charges have been again added.
                                      I have spoken to every possible local staff and their so called customer care but at this point I dont know what should I do coz its a real mockery of the customers since I have been following their process to no avail. I demand some serious action, apology and all the compensation for the mental harassment caused to me by Airtel.

                                        i am using Airtel 3G on mu mobile Nokia 5230.i did EC recharge 675rs data plan on jun20th .The plan was activated but their is no 3G speed .the maximum speed is 5kb/s only.in my mobile i am getting 3.5G full signal .21 st i called customer care they said before 28th we will solve your problem.on 28th evening they called and said we r solved your problem now u can get 3G speed.after the call end i tried to connect net the speed is only 5kb/s only.almost 10 days over in 30 days validity .y i did 675rs recharge,to this speed i can do normal 98rs recharge .now i try to call customer care now i can't contact then i tried 121 and 198 the call end. see their is no good response from Airtel. my uncle said to me to file case at consumer court against airtel.675rs is a big money,they have to provide good service for the money.but they r not doing that service.they don't know customer value , money and time.
