My Name is Abhishek Gupta . I Got Airtel 3G Dongel activated on 19/05 /11 . My Sim no. is [protected]. I have opted for 2GB PLAN @750/- On using the services for 18days my connection was barred on 05/06 on inquiring I was told that bill amount is 30, 000 so unless i make the interim payment the connection can not be activated .On telling them the statistics which one can see while using the dongel it was showing usage of only 1.24GB but seems logics does not work in Big Companies like Airtel and I was told that I have to wait till the final bill is not generated ... Which means company has not allowed me to use 0.75 GBS which was balance in the plan . <br />
Now once I have received the bill there was another shock for me as the amount was showing 16, 000 even though the itemised bill which they have sent is showing the consumption lower than 2GB . I am in touch with their diffrent offices - Nodal, Appelete asking for reasoning of this sort of inflated bills and the discrepencie in the statistics which is being shown in Dongel ( Live usages ) and bill which is as high as 61% .<br />
I have again told to wait till few more days time untill someone got to attend the reasoning right . In between my dongel is useless for nearly 20 days and since it is post paid connection - I am paying for the rental without usages ...<br />

Will any senior officer from Airtel will take note of the same and resolve the issue and customer dissatisfaction ..

I got a call from someone named Mr. Rahul from corporate office but the discussions were devoid of any logics and merly an attempt to eyewash that how the billing was correct .



I have asked very simple and logical questions during the conversation which were :



- I have Subscribed for Rs 750 /- plan which allows me for 2gb consumption .



- Now as per the stastistics which is being shown in ur Airtel 3g dongel is only 1.24 GB while as itemised bills are showing the consumption of little lesser than 2GB ( 2160221 KB'S Precisely ) then How come there is so huge discrepency between live usages statistics and your itemised bills - It is more than 55% ( I would have accepted if it is +_ 10 % )



- Now even going by your itemised bill also the consumption is lesser than 2GB then how come the bill was made of 16, 000/- odd Rupees which actually should be of of Rs 750 / - + Taxes .



- I was told that the company billing cycle is from 8th to 7th of every month so the Bill period changes are calculated on prorata basis and so as the consumption - I simple argument is why this information on billing cycle was not provided at the begning when I have subscribed for this plan - It Clearly indicate the complany malintentions for the customer to fall into the Trap ...

Otherwise I could have been more stingy in the usages ...



- Even If you will calculate it on Prorata basis then from 19th May to 7th June makes consumption period of 20 days which means I should have been charged 500 /- for Bill period charges and subsequently on prorata basis the data consumption would have been 1.33 GB - Which is covering my data consumption of 1.24 GB ( As per the Dongel statistics ) .



But seems no body from corporate office is willing to buy these logics and what in return I was told very rudely that the way bill is generated in correct and you need to pay this much of the amount ???



So I feel lucky that the amount which is being shown here is only 16, 000/- and not 60, 000/- or 6, 00, 000/- as if you want to justify your stand then every thing can be calculated accordingly even though it has nothing to do with the Logics.



I request you to please look into it and depute someone who can seriously look into this issue and help to resolve the same and keep the customers intact .

        I am Abhijnan Dasgupta User of Airtel Broadband and landline phone for last 2 1/2 years.

        For the last 2 month my net is not working properly, form last 2 weeks it has stopped working, my landline is dead for 2 weeks. Everytime I lodge a complain your engineers respond to the call but in the end the problem persists. Every month I am paying the airtel bills as per my plan but for the last 2 months but I am unable to use my broadband nor my landphone. Today I have received a message from airtel that my problem is solved, but reality is nothing has been done not even a engineer has visited my site. Please explain how can you send such a message??????????. I have also complained in care.[protected]@airtel.in
        but no response

        I HOPE SOMEONE FROM AIRTEL SHOULD READ IT AND HELP ME OUT

          I am holding your connection no.[protected] since 1995. From last three months I am harrassed by airtel
          by deductjng balance by activating unwanted services. I have made my complaints about this before also.
          Only due to this I have deactivated all my 3G services from last month
          And now again on 20th june2011 they have deducted RS 60 from my balance I lounged a complaint on 198
          at 7.00am then they send me the message of deactivation of service but my balance was not refunded.
          and again on 21st june 2011 my balance was deducted by RS 60 by making complaint they told me that I
          have activated 2g internet service and also told me that this money will not be refunded.
          Just think as I am having 3g smart phone why would I activate 2G services.
          So I am fed up from your malafied services and this is the last warning before going to the appropiate
          consumer courts as I am having full records of our communication and evidences.

              I am Naresh kumar sharma having mobile number [protected] from past more than 2
              years but due to some irresolvable issue i want to port this number having ref
              porting ID AD884371 at the earliest.



              As i had submitted the request on 03/06/2011 but that was rejected on
              11/06/2011 stating reason "subsisting contractual obligation" So i am totally
              dejected with the response from your side which provided from your side. Today
              had contacted airtel customer care as per them that request has been cancelled
              and duration for the same has been expired so they needs to take new request on
              13/06/2011 for the same,And before closing or rejecting the request no intimation has been provided to me
              So this time I am planning to file a complaint in consumer court for compensation.

              I contacted my airtel customer care about this issue no one has respondig

              Hello Concerns,

              As this number [protected] still not ported under ref AD884371. On waht basis this is infered that issue is resolved. My resuest AD884371 is generated with airtel on 03/06/2011 not on 21/06/2011 as stated above.

              This request AD884371 is now 30 days old for porting the mobile number [protected].

              No one from airtel is bothered to look into the matter, problem still laying as it is. Even though customer service agents are not able to provide any concrete update when i call them to know the status of my porting request.

              I think airtel totally lost its customer satisfaction value, They are leaving me with no option to take some extreme steps.

                Below is the last mail conversation I had regarding this and I did not get a reply from airtel after that.. can you please look at the trail to find answers..
                it is basically a service i dint use for 6 months that you are charging (you can check the outgoing and incoming calls... there would have been none) and when I approached for disconnection 6 months back, I was basically shuttled saying someone will call back etc., the disconnection was not done because of airtel's inefficiency.

                This is the nth time this happens with Airtel. Now you will ask me to prove that I called with request number and everything. You can check my records to see if I have used your service.. has there been any calls received or made in the last few months?
                I basically have not used your service and I have made a request for cancellation as well - just that I dont remember the request number.. why do u make things difficult for your customers..

                I am pretty sure your guys promised to call me back regarding cancellation and you can also check the bulk payment I made of around 4000 Rs in Jul/Aug time frame for a similar request as below - I was asked to pay off my dues and then airtel promised to cancel, I paid and then nothing has happened but for this mail I got.
                You have to understand that I wont be aware of your processes.

                  Off late I have been getting messages from airtel that my documents are not complete and I need to send some more documents. My connection is in the name of my company hence when I talked to a airtel officer they told me some company documents which would have been difficult for me to get from the company. I started getting the message everyday starting from 16 jun 2011, I visited the airtel outlet on both 18th/19th, but every time they tell me different documents to be submitted. On 21st jun they disabled my out going services. They are telling me that they have sent me 4 sms on it and they are bound by dot guidelines. I asked them does this give enough reason to block my outgoing calls. I have important meeting in the evening and I cant attend them. Now they tell me to visit an outlet, but I am working and cannot do so in the weekdays. This means everyday I am missing my meetings. Who will pay for this loss. Also if stopping my outgoing call was a solution then so should the airtel be stopped from providing the services as they are not able to follow the dot guidelines for last 6 months.

                  Airtel Postpaid — outgoing of mobile is barred

                  my airtel mobile has been diiscontinued due to negative verification whereas it was verified successfully and i have also cleared all my account...nodal officer is also not picking the phone

                  My SIM was blocked. It is asking for PUK code.
                  So i need the PUK code so suggest me what to do?

                  For past 3 days I have been talking to customer care officer, Nodal and appellate office I finally got a consolidated list of document to submit to outlet. I take a leave from office and go to outlet and guess what the CRO just refuses to agree to those documents. I tell him to get me the nodal office number and talk on that. He gives the number but asks me to call. I tell him my outgoing calls are debarred I cannot call anybody. Still he does not do anything and I return back with my leave wasted with no work done. Do you think airtel is worth losing my business meetings for past 4 days and one day of leave. I do not think so. I am ready to shift to other service provider.

If you still not deactivate the MMS and if any other options activated to me i will surely call and scold like anything.

                      I ported my number from Vodafone to Airtel towards end of May. But to my surprise, i noticed that the services of Airtel has gone down considerably. Everytime i try to connect to customer Care for help, the call automatically directs me to some IVR and the call gets disconnected. Even on dialling 198, i face the same issue. My mobile number is [protected].
                      I am also facing same issue

                      We have call to customer care at the same time call not to be connected so we are not able say the errors and suggestion about their product and process.

                        with regards, it is submitted that i have connected a airtel DTH connection on 15.03.2011 vide ID No. [protected] but since 12.06.2011 the connectivity was going very poor with an error code mentioning error code B001. for this i have made a complaint on company's customer care No.12150 they gave a contact No. of nearest Engineer i.e. [protected], he told me that the problem be soon rectified but he didn't do the needful till date. this creates a lot of mentally disturbance to me. i tried several time for this complaint but no response has been received at their till today. now i last time requesting for this problem otherwise i will knock the consumer court.

                          I am an airtel prepaid customer (Karnataka connection) . Last week , while in roaming (kerala) I did recharge of Rs 444 for availing full talk time of Rs 444 . I did Rs 444 recharge based on the information provided in official Airtel website (Please see the attachment) but the amount credited was only Rs 402 .

                          I dialed customer care and updated my concerns to the executive who attended the call . He transferred the call to his supervisor Mr Rajesh since he was not able to provide a satisfactory explanation for the difference amount .

                          I got an answer from Rajesh that there is no full talk time for Rs 444 recharge . I asked him to visit official website of Airtel which informed me of 444 full talk time recharge offer . But to my surprise I was told by him that Airtel website is blocked and not accessible for him from his office.

                          IT IS REALLY SURPRISING THAT AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE'S DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THIER OFFICIAL WEB SITE !!!!!!!

                            SOMEONE USING MOBILE NUMBER CANCELED BY ME

                            I, Srirama Sarma Kothuri, took the Airtel mobile connection [protected] may be in 2006. But cancelled the same 2 years back by filling a form at Airtel Relationship center Franchisee PVS Herbals , Vashi Navi Mumbai. But Airtel center did not provide me the request number at that time ( I do not have details of the same). Because I have given for cancellation, next day I destroyed the SIM card . After one year , I used get calls from airtel that I have to pay Rs1350 and even sent people to home for payment. In order to avoid further embarrassment , I paid Rs 1350 at Airtel Relastionship center Franchisee PVS Herbals , Vashi Navi Mumbai. ( concerned persons Mr. Suresh / Mr. Sarvajit) and told them to cancel it immediately. They gave me receipt # 15116 Dt 22-Jan-2011 for Rs 1350 /- and raised request for cancellation # 35417856. Even after that also, today I have received phone call from Airtel office stating that I have to pay pending amount. It is really frustrating and shows the bad quality of services from Airtel.

                            On 18-Jun-2011 late evening, I talked to many customer care executives through 121 service . But they have not registered a compliant and advised me to send compliant to the above mentioned e-mail address. Very pathetic situation.

                            After I spoke to your customer care executive I came to know that it was activated, after getting confirmation to SMS sent by you to the mobile number [protected]. This number never belonged to me. It looks like that the person in your Airtel Relation ship Center franchisee center (PVS Herbals , Vashi, Navi Mumbai) who made / created the request number intentionally played a foul play and took the advantage. When I destroyed my SIM 2 years back , how he got the SIM and used it. Even with in 2 days of my request for cancellation, on 24- Jan-2011 GPRS was activated and limit extended from Rs 1800 to Rs 3000 in Apr-2011.


                            Today I visited your ARC at Vashi, and talked to Airtel executive over 888. Here also they are not interested to entertain me and not registered any compliant . Simply washed off their hand by giving nodal officers e-mail address.I came to know that , connection activated, when they contacted me on cell # [protected]. But the same SIM card was destroyed by me two years back. I do not know how come they contacted. What 121 person informed and what 888 person informed , both are contradictory. One says confirmed through SMS and another says responded to call on [protected]. It is horrifying to hear that, billing e-mail address is [protected]@yahoo.com. I never have this type of e-mail address and it never belonged to me.


                            I do not know what the hell is going on.The way it is happening looks like that big scam is going on. There is someone's hand within AIRTEL.

                            Please confirm per return that number is canceled forever, I need have to pay anything. Other wise I will give legal notice and also go to consumer court. I want your immediate action and confirmation per return.

                            Airtel — Charged me for the postpaid connection which was canceled in January

                            I got an airtel connection from Bangalore when i was working there. They used to do ECS debit for my corporate account for the standard bill amout of the month. In December i moved to ahmedabad. I send them an email to cancel my postpaid number. They never bothered to reply stating whether my mobile number has been cancel or not. I the outstanding amount was paid through ECS for the month of January in Feb first week. Then again this month they debited my account for the same amount. I emailed them about it but never got any response. This AIRTEL SERVICE SUCKS...
                            Please confirm per return that number is cancelled forever and I need NOT have to pay anything.
                            Still someone is using the number. How he changed the e-mail address from [protected]@yahoo.com to [protected]@yahoo.com. This I came to know through your 121 service Ms.Bhavana. She also told me that someone had paid Rs 6410 /- by cash. Receipt #[protected] Dt 22-Jun-2011.

                            NEVER ACTIVATE THAT NUMBER. MATTER IS VERY SERIOUS.
                            I do not know which contact number you are taking about. I have not received any SMS from you. If you are still contacting me on [protected] ( which I have destroyed my SIM card 2 years back), it indicates that you have not gone through fully my problem.

                            If you have contacted me on [protected], I have neither received miss call nor SMS from you. It indicates the bad quality of AIRTEL coverage.

                            Anyhow note my details as mentioned below.

                              Airtel is charging for services which are not subscribed and provided. one such is hello tune which I never subscribed but automatically forced on my mobile and started collecting Rs 30/- for 30 days in the past 2-3 months. repeated sms messages and converging with customer care didn't yield result. I lost Rs 70/- for the service called "Ishqkiya", which I don't what it is. This not a first instance. Previously they charge around Rs 90 for the service called Cricket SMSs, for which I had not subscribed.
                              Today Airtel closed my spouse's call in the middle saying low balance, although she charged with five coupons of Rs. 20/- each. There should be a balance of around Rs 70/-, but these mad customer care operators are saying the balance is valid till 17tyh Jun. So frustrating and very annoying.

                              Customer care 121, 198 are not customer friendly and do not respond properly to enlighten customers in stopping unwanted sms and calls.

                              Please let me know if I can do something to sue Airtel. I am willing to file PIL in the court or TRAI if needed or as per RTI act.

                              Airtel is harassing the customers like anything.
                              People are already facing other issues related to bad governance, corruption, Inflation and living with great stress, and Airtel like mobile operators adding additional stress.

                              Certain VAS were started in my airtel prepaid mobile no: [protected] (Noida) without my asking for them. I just got a message that this service (caller tunes and lately job alerts). Trying to contact customer care failed repeatedly without any result. I have never requested for any value added services for this number. Kindly get the company to stop starting such services unilaterally and charging for these. The amounts charged thus should also be credited back. I tried to register this complaint through airtel consumer complaint website also. But this seems to be totally an eyewash / farcial setup. The customer care (do they care?) and complaints are non-existant. Kindly also direct me where one can get a solution.

I bought a new sim card from Guru Kirpa Telelinks, Kapurthala at[protected].                                     I have raised request to install Airtel DTV in my house in Bangalore, Whitefiels 9 days ago and before its been fixed the complaint has been closed and so far from Nov 1 to till day I have been calling their customer care on a daily basis, atleast 3 times a day.. And so far 4 complaints has been raised and everything has been closed with out any resolution.. I recharged my account with Rs. 700 based on the advice given by the customer care executive.. Rs 300 for re-installation and Rs. 400 for viewing the TV. But before installation Rs. 300 has been taken away and I have been losing Rs 15 a day which takes the total to Rs 135 so far and so the grand total I have lost so far is Rs 435.. Every time I call their customer care I get a response saying it will be fixed in 2 hrs and when I call after 2 hrs another 2 hrs and this gets repeated till 8Pm and when I call by 8Pm they say 12Pm the next day and back to the same ways..

                                    If an appointment is fixed it should be done and I have been given an appointment for more than 10 times.. I have canceled all my other works and was waiting for the whole day for the past 2 days and also on 31st Oct 09.. This is not fair..

                                    If this could not be done their people could have told me and I would have gone for someother provider and I would not have lost the money..

                                    I have given them a mail too and no response for that..

                                    What could be done??

                                    I recently shifted my home and a technician was called in for Un-installation where i paid 250rs and the guy removed the dish/cable and informed me, after shifting my home i was supposed to give it to the techenician who visits my new home for installation.
                                    The Tech at my new home came in and just installed the Dish but the cable which he was supposed to install(Airtel), he just installed local cable which was wall mounted already and took 300rs. He also informed me that i will get good signal and there will be no problem in using the local cable.

                                    Now the issue is will the Local cable.

                                    I am unable to receive signals for few channels where the customer service says that the issue is due to the local cable.

                                    I requested CC to send tech but the said they will charge me 150rs again due to local cable issue.

                                    Moreover the CC reps to whom i spoke were very rude to me. they have closed my complaint number as Resolved.

                                    Why should i pay to Airtel for their fault and Should i continue using Airtel DTH????
                                    This is Kiran.I have Contacted Airtel customer care for new HD + connection. The customer care executive told me offer of South value sports package with 17 HD channels including Gemini TV HD for 24 months and I have paid Rs 7050.
                                    After activation only 16 HD channels are coming but Not the Gemini tv HD as they told earlier.
                                    So I have contacted again they told this only 16 HD channels only. How cheaply they are behaving Before activation one package and after activation one package.

                                      I have received the following SMS on 06 June, 11, from Airtel (Sender : AT - 650003):-
                                      "50% Cash back on RC 69! Recharge with Rs. 69, Get Local mob calls @ 30p/Min,STD [protected]@60p/Min for 30 days PLUS Rs. 35TT (in 48hrs) in main A/c! Call 121311".
                                      Accordidngly, I have recharged for Rs. 69/- on 10.06.11at 6.26pm. TransID[protected]. But even after 48 hrs, I have not got recharges for Rs. 35/-, as mentioned in the SMS.
                                      Since, my balance was too low, I have agained recharged my mobile for Rs. 60/- on 14 June, 11 at 11.42am.. TransID[protected]. But, no Talk Time was recharged to my mobile. When I contacted Airtel Customer Care Executive, I was told that Rs. 60/- recharge is for SMS pack, which either my self or the retailer, who recharged was knowing.
                                      Hence, I lodged a complaint with Airtel. Complaint No. CBNRA [protected]. I was told that within 48 hrs my complaint was resolved. On 16th June, I received a SMS which read as follows:-
                                      "Further to your concern on recharge, we wish to clarify that the disputed amount has been credited to your account."
                                      But till date I have not received any credit into my account. Please help me to resolve this problem.
                                      I want that Rs. 35/- and Rs.60/- (less service charges) be recharged to my account immediately.
