I Had given a Complain regarding my POST PAID no :- [protected]. I had got a bill around 12,000 and the reason for that is the 3g usage, i was given a wrong information by an AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE PERSON regarding the 3g,he gave me the plan as follows :- 1.25 gb for the cost of 675 and after 1.25 gb ,vbc is at 1p/100 kb up-to the max(shield ) amount of 2000.post hitting 2000 it will be unlimited . and he told me to send msg and some other plan was activated which i was not aware.

The second reason is my credit limit is 3500,so how can they charge me more than 3500,if the billing amount is getting more than 3500 the service should have been stopped immediately,why it was continued ?

i spoke to customer care person called lokesh on 31 st may and he gave me the assurance that the bill will be waved of but it was not waved off have and not heard anything from the airtel .on june 8 th when i again called i spoke to person call Mr Taj and he told he to send the mail to airtel .they gave me complete negative reply. so i am giving this consumer complain .

i even told them IF THE BILLS IS NOT WAVED OF :-
I HAVE ALREADY PORTED OUT FOR AIRTEL AND JOINED VODAFONE,I AM USING OTHER SERVICE OF AIRTEL WHICH WILL ALSO I CANCEL, LIKE I AM USING THE AIRTEL 3G MODEM INTERNET AND NO OF THAT IS [protected] AND I AM USING AIRTEL DIGITAL T.V ACCOUNT NO OF THAT IS [protected]. I WILL BE FORCED TO MOVE AND CANCEL THOSE 2 SERVICE ALSO.

IN spite of that i got a complete horrible negative response from them.

I HOPE THIS LETTER REACHES THE CORRECT person and some immediate action is taken.

Dear sir,
This is to inform you that just because the missguidence of your executive i got a big amount in my bill.As per his information he told me that as a good costomer my phone no.[protected] got selected for free downloadings from 11 of feb.He told that i can download any game,songs wallpapers.e.t.c.just for Rs. 16 per day and if i want it for the whole month it would cost me 500Rs.With my permission i told him to activate the service for two days(in betwen i called again on 12 feb to confirm that if i will activate for two days it would cost me only Rs. 37 approx. that time also he didnt told anything to me.) as it would cost me only Rs.37 approx.(according to him).But he didnt informed me that this offer is valid only if i download GPRS,none else.According to me my bill should come Rs.37 approx,but it was Rs.713 for downloadings as i hav downloaded from airtel live not from GPRS.I didnt knew this because ur executive didnt told any information like that as mentioned before.This much amount would be difficult to pay for me,so kindly deduct some amount or i[censored] can make some adjustment for my bill as its a fault from your side not mine.Just a communication gap created a problem for me.I would be thankful to you i[censored] help me to get out of this.Thanks.SHILPY SHARMA.wAITING FOR UR REPLY.
I had given consumer complain regarding my bill for the phone no [protected], i got the reply telling that it has been resolved but i am still getting calls from some airtel person regarding payment. plz look into this matter and make sure i dont get calls regarding this any more...i am copying and pasting the reply i got..

    I have an Airtel postpaid connection, the connection details are as under.

    Mobile No: [protected]
    Relationship number:[protected]
    Bill Number:[protected]

    There are erroneous internet usage charges in my Airtel bill for the period of 05th May 2011 to 04th June 2011. The total bill amount for May 2011 bill is Rs 122117.43 whereas my credit limit is Rs 5000 only. My average bill per month is Rs 1500.00 only.

    The breakup of bill is as under:

    1 one time charges: Rs 0.00
    2 bill period charges: Rs 279.00
    3 usage charges
    Call charges: Rs 828.10
    Value added services: Rs 1,09,822.10
    Roaming: Rs 14.00
    4 Discounts: Rs -229.30
    5 Last bill period late fee: Rs 0.00
    6 Taxes: Rs 11,403.53

    Total charges Rs 1,22,117.43

    I have been charged Rs 1,09,822.10 for Value Added Services. I would like to mention that I have never requested for activation of internet services on my mobile. As per the TRAI guidelines "No chargeable value added service shall be provided to a customer
    without his explicit consent."

    The bill shows internet data download of 6.9 GB out of which 6.2 GB was downloaded in a single day on 12th May 2011, which is practically not possible on a mobile internet connection. I am not a frequent user of internet on my mobile. The Data counter in my mobile is showing total data download of 7MB however the bill sent by Airtel is showing the data download of around 7GB, which is a huge difference.

    The credit limit on my connection is Rs 5000. As per the TRAI guidelines, "The service provider shall intimate a postpaid customer (1) in advance about his credit limit and
    (2) whenever he reaches 80% of the credit limit.
    I was neither informed on reaching 80% of my credit limit nor on reaching 100% of my credit limit, even the number was not blocked upon exceeding 100% of my credit limit.

    I have contacted the Airtel Nodal Officer on 7th June 2011 (Complaint Number[protected] but I did not get any satisfactory response from them. I have also written a mail to the Nodal Officer but there was no reply. I contacted the Airtel Appellate Officer regarding the same and did not get any satisfactory response from them. I have requested the below mentioned details from them.

    1. Date on which Value Added Service (internet service) activation was requested on my connection and by whom.

    2. The total volume of data download (in GB) as per your records.

    3. The break up of Data Download and what all was downloaded from which websites, provide the website wise data download, time duration and time of download.

    4. The rate at which data usage was charged.

    5. How did bill exceed the credit limit of Rs 5000 on my account without any intimation upon reaching the full credit limit.

    6. Why the connection was not stopped upon exceeding the credit limit.

    The Airtel Nodal Officer and Airtel Appellate Officer have not been able to provided me the above requested details so far. They are just saying that the charges are valid and you will have to make the payment.

    It has been 10 days since when I filed the complaint with Airtel and seeking resolution to the problem, however, nobody from Airtel is ready to look into it seriously.

    It is causing a lot of mental trauma and harassment to me.

        hi,
        i am vincent i have a airtel digital tv connection for the past 2 years, i have shifted my house from velachery to thirunindravur ( near avadi ). i called the customer care people and informed that i have shifted my house kindly shift my airtel digital tv connection to my new place, but there was no response for 1 week.
        then i called again this time they said the address where i have said is not available in airtel digital software so we cant help. for the past three weeks i am following up, but nobody responds. and they are not taking this as a complaint.

        my airtel digital tv customer no. [protected].
        the person who i spoke last is Mr. Waseem in the call centre, he said he can help anything since its a software problem.

        kindly help to resolve the problem, as soon as possible.

          Dear Sir/ Madam,

          To state I am Ramakanata Behera living at Begumpet, Hyderabad is a Airtel customer (Postpaid Service) having number - +91-[protected].

          My alternate contact number[protected]

          Recently I lost my number and blocked the SIM and requested for a New SIM today from Airtel Showroom at Begumpet,Hyderbad.

          After geeting the new SIM the manager in Chargerge given 4 hour time to activate the SIM and make it operational. but after 4 Hour it has not been activated.

          After this I amde a call to the call center and asked to wait for 30 min more so that it will be activated - Reference discussion number with Airtel customer care[protected]

          Again afetr an Hour I made a call to the center and was told the card which has been given to me is a damage card and to ne replaced and again I have to go through the same process - ref. discusion and complain number[protected]
          Due to this I suffred a lot missing all importnat calls from offices and faced lots of problem - need due of the damage caused for not meeting the deadlines during service.

          Dear Mr.Rakesh,

          To inform now my SIM is working, But the kind of treatment / reply we get from your staff at Begumpet, Hyderabad Airtel center is realy pathetic.

          The response was like they do not care for the customers problem. I can quote the name of the manager whose resonse was so pathetic, as if I felt Airtel has done some favour to me by providing the SIM to me.

          Being a older customer, I do not expect such attitude when customer is in problem.

            Hello Respected sir/madam,

            My name is Jignesh H. Tamakuwala. I am from Surat, Gujarat. As you might know that in Gujarat, MNP (Mobile Number Portability) is started from 20th Jan, 2011. My mobile no. is[protected] which is from Airtel, Gujarat. It’s a post-paid number. I had been using this number from December, 2008. Due to bad network reception, poor services and rude customer support, I have decided to port my given number from Airtel to Tata Docomo. When I have given request for porting, my request was rejected 3 times due to Legal reasons. When I tried to inquire about the legal reasons, Airtel outlet at Ghoddod Road, have told me that my number is a vanity number and I need to pay charges of Rs.1000 for that in order to leave Airtel. Now my point is when I bought this number, I was not told that this is some kind of vanity or special number and I did not paid any extra charges for that except Rs.300 for new connection and activation. When I argued this at Airtel office at Ghoddod Road, the executive named Krupa, gave me irresponsible answer that at that time, MNP was not in effect.

            I truly believe that Airtel don’t want to let go any old customer to other company as it may bring bad reputation to them. I met many people at Tata Docomo office whose requests were also rejected just like mine by Airtel. They are charging this money so that many of the people would not leave them. This is my business number which I cannot afford to change as it is given to many people and if I do so, I would suffer a big business loss.

            I have recorded my last conversation at Airtel outlet at Ghoddod Road, Surat with executive named Krupa. These people are handling more than one customer at a time. She has told me to pay Rs.1000 for vanity charge. When I argued the same as above, she has replied the same answer.

            Please help me, as I am want to leave Airtel and their services.

            Hello,

            On 21st June, 2011, I had a call from Airtel inquiring about this complaint and wanted to have some information regarding it. I gave the correct information.

            Today morning when I saw the comment from Airtelpresence, I called 121 number and tried to inquire about the solution given to my complaint. The tele-executive was unable to answer so she asked me to visit the Airtel Relationship Office. So I visited the Airtel office at Sahara-darwaja outlet.             At Sahara-darwaja outlet, I spoke with executive named Anuj. He confirmed that my complaint is solved and now I can give request for porting of my number. He added that I should make payment in excess in order to avoid rejection due to insufficient funds. I reminded him about my deposit which I have paid at the time of purchasing new connection and activation so he said he would tell me exact amount I need to pay deducting the deposit. After looking at his computer screen, he told me to pay Rs. 120. The bifurcation of this amount is my last month bill is Rs.221 + my unbilled amount Rs.86 + monthly rent on prodata basis Rs.80 + service texes around Rs.15 – my deposit Rs.300 = Rs. 102 so I should pay Rs.120 in excess of Rs.20. I have paid Rs. 130 as I it is going to take a week period to process MNP request. And I will continue to use my number as I cannot stop using it. So in future, I may pay another Rs.50 keeping eye on my unbilled amount.

            Today I have also given porting request to TATA DOCOMO. Now let’s hope everything should be done without any rejection. I will report back here, once I successfully port my number.

            On 27th june, I have deposited another Rs. 100 to my account as my usage in this week has been more.

            Today is 8th working day from the day I have requested for MNP in TATA Docomo. Still I have not received any message or call regarding acceptance or rejection of my request. I have been to TATA Docomo to inquire about my status of MNP, the executive told me that it has been rejected. According to her system, the reason is either my number is blacklisted or unsettleled overdue. Then I have been to Airtel office at Sahara Darwaja road, and I have talked with the same guy, Anuj, whom I have talked before. He said there is nothing in his system about rejection or acceptance of my request. He asked me to wait for another two days as there might be some delays. He also checked my status about my dues, and confirmed me that I have Rs.8 still in credit to my account. Please look into this matter and try to solve it to my favour.

            Still I don't understand what takes long to process my request.

            Today is the 10th working day and still there is no sms or call about my MNP status. Still the executive named Anuj at sahara-darwaja outlet asked me to wait as he wants to have clear acceptance or rejection. He has given me his contact number to inquire on phone tomorrow. He is really helping guy. Wish whole Airtel company would be like him.

            Today i have received one call asking about my complaint here but i was in middle of a traffic so i asked him to call again after 5 mins, but he didnot.

            I want quick solution now.

            It’s been two weeks since I have applied for MNP and still no news of its acceptance or rejection about it. Airtel is really testing my patience now. I have contacted Anuj, an executive from Sahara-Darwaja road, Airtel outlet. Still he is saying he cannot do anything till he gets clear rejection or acceptance. In his language he is waiting for a closure of my request. Again he ask me to contact him on Monday.

            Update -------
            Today, i had a call from Delhi from Airtel. He said i have to first clear my bill which will generate tomorrow and make some excess payment as it is going to take one week. I reminded him that i have already made excess payment at the time of my last MNP request on 24th June. Then i told him that you guys are taking so long that my UPC code generated on 24th June is already expired on this 8th July. So he caught this line and wrote on my MNP request closure note that my UPC code is expired and my unbilled amount was not cleared. What the heck??? One guy from Airtel saying i had enough excess amount at the time of MNP request and other guy saying totally contradicting to that???

            Now when i asked him what to do now? He asked me to generate new UPC code for new request tomorrow and let him know about my it plus he will tell me the bill amount which will be created on 12th July (tomorrow), then he make sure that i port-out successfully.

            Lets see how truthful he is in his promise.

            Update---

            Yesterday evening my new bill was generated of amount RS. 183.99. Today morning when i called Rahul, guy from Airtel from Delhi, he again asked me to clear my outstanding and my unbiled amount. so i have paid Rs. 400 against it as later after succesfully porting out, i will get my refund as my Rs. 300 is still with Airtel as deposit. When i asked him that if he want my UPC code, he refused to have.

            So today, I have again given request for MNP in TATA Docomo. Now lets see what happens next but i am sure about one thing, IF THIS TIME IT IS REJECTED, I WILL OFFICIALLY FILE A SUIT AGAINST AIRTEL IN CONSUMER FORUM, SURAT AND WILL SEND A LEGAL NOTICE REGARDING THE WHOLE MATTER VIA MY ADVOCATE. THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE I HAVE GIVEN TO AIRTEL.

            Finally, Good news came today morning when i saw my phone is not getting the signal reception so i inserted docomo card and to my surprise it is working now. It surprises me because i didnot received any sms about the switchover. Anyways everything is fine now.

              My name is Mallesham K, my Airtel prepaid No. [protected], today(17/06/2011), an amount Rs. 15/ has been deducted from my account and I have received an SMS from 50505, saying" Thank you for registering. You have been deducted Rs 15/- for Kajol event. Call 50505 at 2p/Sec on 17June T &C apply." Where as I have not registered for any such service. When I received a junk(crap), simply I disconnected. This way Airtel cheating the customers like me. When I tried to contact Airtel Customer care 121, I could hear only their adds, I can't talk customer care executive.

              This type of attitude of service providers like Airtel should be brought to the notice of the Media and public. We should condemn such behavior from Airtel.

              I am K.Mallesham an Airtel Pre-paid customer with mobile No. [protected], Today(17/06/2011), an amount of Rs. 15/- has been deducted from my account, I have been sent an SMS from 50505 saying "Thank you for rgistering. You have been charged Rs 15/ for Kajol envet. Call 50505 at 2p/Sec on 17th June 3.00PM terms and conditions apply" Where as I have not registered for any service like that. When I got some advertisement call(crap), I simply disconnected. This way Airtel is cheating the customers like me. When I tried to contact customer care 121, I couldn't get customer assistant on that line.

              I felt very bad, for such an act from Airtel. I condemn such behavior, I couldn't contact customer care personal, only junk adds, I have hear on 121 no.

              I hope such things are to be brought to the notice of Media and public, so that Airtel or any other service provider will not cheat customers.

                Hi,
                Airtel broadband has charged Rs 500/- online for new broadband connection in Bangalore (details below) claiming that if the connection is not feasible or Airtel fails to connect within 3 working days, money would be refunded. It's about 1 month (32 days) and I am yet to get the new connection or the money refunded on my account. I have tried reaching Customer care, Airtel escalation matrix, etc with false promises and wierd reasons.

                I was trying of a private operator expecting to be a better service but this incident completely changed my opinion.

                Below are the details of my application:

                  I want to complian about the poor customer service provided by Libra Communication. I applied for getting the prepaid SIM ownership changed for the no. [protected] and then subsequent change from prepaid to postpaid. However, I have been undergoing an "indefinitely delayed" experience with Libra Communication people. In my case, I have been interacting with customer care execs Ms Pooja and Ms Harsha. It has been almost a month now and after every alternate day I try to follow up with them and I am still being told that it will happen "shortly". I hope I can get some kind of response from Airtel Presence soon.

                    Airtel is deducting my hard earned money unnecessary.

                    earlier ther deducted money for govt jobs service and when i compaint they said me that they will refund my money but they not refunded even a single rupee.

                    Now I am using Mobile office on my mobile wuth Recharge of Rs 60 for Internet but they also deduct my money.. I lost Rs 40 in 2 days when i compained airtel they are saying that airtel Live.

                    But i am using only Mobile Office.
                    why you people deduct extra money when i already activated Internet.

                    Every month i loose 50-100 rupees because of these automatic activation of services,

                    Frnds please suggest me any realiable service proivder other than these cheater airtel.
                    Now airtel is forfing me to port my number to somewhere else.

                    we use more than 50 airtel numbers at our work.
                    so we are loosing a Big money. we need to shift all these to any other service proivder. and we suggest to all that not to use Airtel.
                    Today i face 1 more problem they charged me Rs 22/- for GPrs of 1 week.

                    I not activated such service whereas i am already using Rs 60 Internet.

                    airtel just cheating customers. those who not track there balance they are cheated by Airtel.

                    i suggest all airtel users to check there balance regularly and you will come to know this.

                        i am giving you some information of idea cellular its call rate for idea 2 idea are 30 paisa and for other mobile is 50 paisa without any extra charge or any recharge.
                        Than why cant airtel provide the same if this continiues no one is going to contine on airtel .Airtel is not competiting with other services.

                        It is so sad to say that Bharti Airtel is no more customer friendly. We students used to spread the message of "Use Airtel, Its the BEST''. But due to recent hikes in callrates, especially the the substantial reduction of SMS Pack from 450 to 250 (in the case of 45 recharge), we have decided to switch over to Idea.
                        We are pointing out the fact that Airtel is going to loose the best part of its customers soon.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I am using my airtel number prepaid [protected] for few years now. I am struggling with the kind of call rates airtel is providing to its existing customer. I am almost shocked to know that Airtel is providing 50p/min(not interested in per second scheme) to its new customer along with 100 of sms free while 60p to old customers (without any free sms). Now when all providers are competing with each other with such a low call rates(tata 30p/min, reliance 1 rs for 3 mins, vodafone lots of national sms free) and other free services, airtel is harassing it customers with such a high call rates just in lieu of retaining old number. Anyways number portability is coming on Jan 20th and I don't have to get harassed by airtel. I am interested to know the statistic of lose/gain customers from other providers for airtel.

                        Please take it as my last complaint as a airtel user if you can resolve it (I am sure you can't:))

                          i had given 6 complaints to change my plan but no response at all from the company. Its worst customer service
                          I was airtel subscriber for nearly 9 years,though they did not have any good offers for the sake of number i did not shift to other provider,but due to there very very poor customer care service(worst) I have thrown away my airtel sim and shifted to reliance gsm.
                          PROBLEM I have encountered with the airtel is they have cross linked a docomo number incoming calls to my airtel number i.e. my airtel sim was recieving the incoming calls of another persons docomo sim,I have complained it in the december 25th to customer care airtel,they said it was the towers signal cross linking problem and they will rectify in 5 days.but they did not rectify the problem.
                          I have called customer care many times,they said they will rectify it.
                          On january 1st i called them and said seriously i will complain about them,they said they will rectify and there representative will meet me before 5th,but they did not rectify the problem,My airtel number was recieving the incoming calls of a docomo number.I have called several times,they said they will rectify but they didn't rectify,airtel customer care service is the worst i have seen.
                          Airtel is not at all concentrating on the consumer complaints,they just concentrate on adding new customers.if the airtel continues like this i think after some years they will have to loose many customers.
                          If the number portability comes,due to airtel worst customer care service,many customers will shift to other operators

                          I bought a new airtel sim b4 a month and after a week of tat I got a call frm customer care regarding my sim verification, I had given correct details and they said everthing is correct and each week they called and verified my details. But on saturday(30/4/11). My msg and call was blocked, if I try to connect a call it goes to cust care. They again asked my details and said after 24hrs my sim ll be activated, until tat cant use,my sim. Then next day also it was,still in hold. Again dey said sry for trouble , dey ll clear it quickly. But day 3 also started still I cant use my sim. I never seen such a,bad sim verification in any netwrk. All cc ppl saying it ll get ready soon, but no one is taking respobsible for this.                           THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. NOT CHECKING CASE HISTORY BEFORE CALLING CUSTOMERS, EVERYDAY REPEATING THE SAME TEMPLATE. I AM ONE AMONG THE IRATED CUSTOMERS.

                          PRESS 1 2 3 options when you call customer care "its simply to avoid customers calling them"



                          Let me start the story what happened to me . On may 2nd 2012 I have registered a request for shifting my connection from Ekkatuthaangal to Thiruvaanmiyur, they sent a acknowledgement message as "we will get back to you by 07/05/2012". Again I got a call from a support rep requesting me to pay the existing bill for last month, then I paid it on the same day. I waited till 07/05/2012 no one responded me after that i was keep on calling them (for 1 and half week), more than ten times I called no support rep has responded well and never given solid answer on whats going on. I escalated the call, then a floor manager contacted me stating there is some technical problem in giving the connection (some box is not available in my new area, they have to arrange it). They were keep on postponing the connection, finally I got it on 22nd of May 2012.

                          Now I got a bill end of May month, obviously they have to reduce the bill for intermediate days (may 02 to may 22). They did not do it and got one more extra bill for previous month. I was wondering how I have to pay previous month bill since they will shift the connection only if you settle the existing bill also I paid it on May 02nd as well. There was a lot of confusion in the billing. So I did not pay the bill generated by end of May.

                          Through out June month I got some 25 calls (almost 10 support reps called) from customer care requesting to pay the bill. I explained everything, no one seem to be understanding the problem til end of June. One of the support rep was so rude over the phone. Finally one person clarified me that it was a confusion with their billing date and I have one more previous bill (duration April 11- May 10). Still I had no clear idea. June month was over. My connection was bared on July 4th or may be 14th.

                          Now collection team started calling me. A guy called Ravishankar called me and explained about billing, I compared all my previous payments via online and accepted that I will pay it. It was end of July So I wanted to pay it through my credit card. Total bill they generated was 2805 but actual bill is 2450. He has given all the reduction. Finally I visited Guindy Airtel office, a guy in that office told that credit card machine not working. I conveyed the same to Ravishankar.

                          Again they were keep on calling (4 times a day). Finally I was convinced to pay the whole amount Rs.2805 through online. The excess amount I paid will be reduced in next month bill, a lady called Laxmi promised and given her number ([protected]) for any more problems. I paid the bill on 08/08/2012 Wednesday. I have also requested the plan change to 599 per month with Laxmi. She told it will take another 3 more days. I complained about all the previously called support reps to her.

                          When I called Laxmi in [protected] on 10/08/2012 Friday. She did not pick it at all. so I called Ravishankar since I had his mobile number then came to know that the plan change request is not yet processed. Following is the reason.

                          Reason: LAXMI IS ON LEAVE

                          I got irated like anything. Already I am struggling without internet connection, they have wasted 2 days. Ravishankar requested me to wait for 4 more days. I shouted like anything. They don't even care about customers, not at all taking irresponsibility. Their Only responsibility is to collect the money from customers after that they wont care.

                          NOT AT ALL WORTH TO BE A CUSTOMER CARE


                          So I would suggest not to go for AIRTEL please.

                            i use the broadband service of rs. 250 a month but since i needed an unlimited sevice for a month (17 april 2011 to 17 may 2011) i enquired about the availability of such a plan.i was informed in the local office that such a plan was available n i will get an unlimited service for a month for an expense of rs. 750 which would be added in my bill for next month. but the next month the bill i received was of rs. 1464 n when i enquired about the excess amount to be payed i was told that no such plan is available and the confusion was caused by the mistake of an employee in the airtel office.i would have to pay rs. 1464 and not rs. 750 since past few days i have been undertaking several rounds to the airtel pffice but to no use.i wish that this matter be immediately looked into and addressed accordingly.

                              25 may-Rs 50
                              27 may -two recharges of Rs50 each
                              28 may -Rs 20
                              all of these recharges were sucessfulul and i even received the confirmation messages.but a little later each one of them was nullified.on contacting customer service ,ur Nand Swaroop rebuked me and called me a cheater and a liar and accused dat i hadnt got any of these recharges done.he even did not take into account the confirmation messages and clearly refused to lodge a complaint in this regard.people like him are a liability to the company and create suspicion on the goodwill of the company,pls take action against him.

                              I complained about this to one of your Staff "Ms. Bhanu" on the 9th morning, who said that I will get complaint No. But so far writing this letter, I hv not recd any complaint No.

                              I am prepaid customer of Airtel mobile since last 4 years. I am not fully satisfied with service but now I am facing some other problem with them. I have recharge with their scheme of Rs.63/- in this scheme they told me that local A-A charge 0.40, A to Other local call 0.60 & STD Rs.1/- per min. But after recharging the call rate is different. After comlaint they told me that to u a special scheme is given but they never told me or never sms me for the new scheme.                               I have been using airtel prepaid connection for almost 6 years. I have faced issues but over the years the customer care service has gone really bad.

                              For the past one month i have been receiving promotional calls from an Aitel Number [protected]. I have reported the issue 4 times, they assured that it will be solved on 27th May 2009. sadly it has not, and i lost my temper when i called them on 28th after i received similar calls, one of the representative Naveen, just cut the call after i said i want to talk to your supervisor. Later i called again and made it a point to speak to Hemanth who is supposed to be the supervisor, i told him about the issue, but in vain, he said it will take another week to resolve.

                              It frustrating to call the customer care, they hardly know their job, and dont even have the basic decency to handle a call. I have been receiving calls twice a day, i leave my important work and try to reach the phone only to realize that its the same stupid number.

                              I am waiting to change my service provider once the new rule by the govt comes in where in we can still retain the same number.

                                This is to bring you to notice that Afxisi Technology Services Pvt Ltd., had subscribed the PRI number and leased line connection in January. Mr. Poovendran and Ms. Nivedhitha respectively. Also three people from the Bangalore head office came over to my office and convinced me to signup for your services.

                                When we took Leasedline Airtel gave an offer to take PRI without any deposits and setup cost.

                                The installation got over on 2nd of January 2010 but they got the sign stating it has been done by 31st Dec 2009 and frequent disconnections started with our Leased line and PRI connection this time. Whenever we get incoming calls there were disturbances on the line and it gets cut, there are also time when the full line was down till 2days. So we did not pay the amount for PRI from the 2nd month. But we pre-payed the leased line for three months for which the line didnt work for last 30 days. We placed a formal complaint to airtel regarding this issue and people came over to check the lines but nothing worked. So we took our complaint to the next level and they sent us some excel sheet of numbers to be contacted that was also of no use we are dogged here and there. When we tried to contact people who came by the office to convince us for the order, they had all quit their job and had switched over. We later did not pay even for the leased line.

                                On last week of September 2010 an Airtel executive came to the office and told me that Rs. 23000/- was pending on the bills of PRI number; they also told that if we gave them Rs. 4000/- right away, they would close the account.

                                Later, a person named Raj Singh called and told me that he was speaking from the high court and there’s a case on my company (Afxisi), for not paying the due bill to Airtel . He also told that I was to be in the court that day (Saturday, 9th October 2010) or he will send local chennai police and arrest me, and CK Roy was the advocate who Handels this case on my comany regarding this payment. When contacted Ck Roy and his assistant Sadhana was giving me 10min to 30 min time to pay the bill or else we will send a fax to chennai police to arrest me, when asked why they went forward with the case without even informing, she told me that, he had sent a notice to the office previously through the Tamil Nadu court and I did not respond to it, hence they took it to Delhi high court. They told me that if I didn’t pay the due money by 11.30 a.m Saturday, they would send a fax to the Chennai Police and arrest me. Hence, I paid Rs. 23000/- to the Airtel Showroom in Adyar on Saturday, 9th October 2010 around 12.45 p.m . Meanwhile I got another call from Sadhana ( CK Roy’s assistant) saying she is going to proceed the case with the Chennai police for I haven’t paid it still ( she called before I could pay the bill). I told her that I am already at the showroom to pay the cash and ended the call.

                                I then paid and went to the T. Nagar Airtel Enterprises Services office and spoke about this issue to Mr. Santhosh, explained the whole problem and asked why did they do this to me. He said that they had no idea about all these things and claimed it to be fake and the collection agency had performed this drama. He gave me a contact and asked me to take this issue to them. I took this issue to Mr. Balagangadharan of PRI team on Monday 11/10/2010 afternoon he also said they have no connection with this drama, the collection agency has done this and asked to file a compliant formally in the police station.


                                No response from Airtel and i couldn't follow it up for a long time.
                                NEVER TAKE A CONNECTION FROM AIRTEL THEY ARE BIG TIME CHEATERS

                                  i am idea priveous user now i m go to mnp request to airtel provider my mnp request in airtel is accepted but 2 days my idea number is barred and airtel sim show tower but no incomming and outgoing this is my busniss number and i loss my busniss

                                  note i am calling 198 airtel custmer care my new mnp airtel sim the custmer care officer not responce to me and cut the phone i hardly disturb
                                  now i request to u plz activate this number immediately otherwise i go for new solutinos

                                    Hi sir, I am a happy customer to Air tel broad band services from the past two years. From Jan.2011, their call centre exe. called me and informed that i will receive bills to my email id. But I never got any bill from Jan to my email id. I have been paying my bill for an approximate amount for Jan & Feb.,requesting their call centre people to send normal bill but in vain.. They disconne the connection on 25th March on the pretext that i have not paid the bill. I changed my service provider from April 2011. I sent all this information to their appellate authority, requesting them to settle this matter. I paid the bill till March month but now every day their call centre people are harassing mr to pay from April month bills. They sent an email t me that they disconnected the connection in May. I request you to kindly involve in this and resolve the issue, as they are harrassing me for payment for previously disconnected connection.
