i had given 6 complaints to change my plan but no response at all from the company. Its worst customer service
I was airtel subscriber for nearly 9 years,though they did not have any good offers for the sake of number i did not shift to other provider,but due to there very very poor customer care service(worst) I have thrown away my airtel sim and shifted to reliance gsm.
PROBLEM I have encountered with the airtel is they have cross linked a docomo number incoming calls to my airtel number i.e. my airtel sim was recieving the incoming calls of another persons docomo sim,I have complained it in the december 25th to customer care airtel,they said it was the towers signal cross linking problem and they will rectify in 5 days.but they did not rectify the problem.
I have called customer care many times,they said they will rectify it.
On january 1st i called them and said seriously i will complain about them,they said they will rectify and there representative will meet me before 5th,but they did not rectify the problem,My airtel number was recieving the incoming calls of a docomo number.I have called several times,they said they will rectify but they didn't rectify,airtel customer care service is the worst i have seen.
Airtel is not at all concentrating on the consumer complaints,they just concentrate on adding new customers.if the airtel continues like this i think after some years they will have to loose many customers.
If the number portability comes,due to airtel worst customer care service,many customers will shift to other operators

I bought a new airtel sim b4 a month and after a week of tat I got a call frm customer care regarding my sim verification, I had given correct details and they said everthing is correct and each week they called and verified my details. But on saturday(30/4/11). My msg and call was blocked, if I try to connect a call it goes to cust care. They again asked my details and said after 24hrs my sim ll be activated, until tat cant use,my sim. Then next day also it was,still in hold. Again dey said sry for trouble , dey ll clear it quickly. But day 3 also started still I cant use my sim. I never seen such a,bad sim verification in any netwrk. All cc ppl saying it ll get ready soon, but no one is taking respobsible for this. First need to change my netwrk

THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. NOT CHECKING CASE HISTORY BEFORE CALLING CUSTOMERS, EVERYDAY REPEATING THE SAME TEMPLATE. I AM ONE AMONG THE IRATED CUSTOMERS.

Let me start the story what happened to me . On may 2nd 2012 I have registered a request for shifting my connection from Ekkatuthaangal to Thiruvaanmiyur, they sent a acknowledgement message as "we will get back to you by 07/05/2012". Again I got a call from a support rep requesting me to pay the existing bill for last month, then I paid it on the same day. I waited till 07/05/2012 no one responded me after that i was keep on calling them (for 1 and half week), more than ten times I called no support rep has responded well and never given solid answer on whats going on. I escalated the call, then a floor manager contacted me stating there is some technical problem in giving the connection (some box is not available in my new area, they have to arrange it). They were keep on postponing the connection, finally I got it on 22nd of May 2012.

Now I got a bill end of May month, obviously they have to reduce the bill for intermediate days (may 02 to may 22). They did not do it and got one more extra bill for previous month. I was wondering how I have to pay previous month bill since they will shift the connection only if you settle the existing bill also I paid it on May 02nd as well. There was a lot of confusion in the billing. So I did not pay the bill generated by end of May.

Through out June month I got some 25 calls (almost 10 support reps called) from customer care requesting to pay the bill. I explained everything, no one seem to be understanding the problem til end of June. One of the support rep was so rude over the phone. Finally one person clarified me that it was a confusion with their billing date and I have one more previous bill (duration April 11- May 10). Still I had no clear idea. June month was over. My connection was bared on July 4th or may be 14th.

Now collection team started calling me. A guy called Ravishankar called me and explained about billing, I compared all my previous payments via online and accepted that I will pay it. It was end of July So I wanted to pay it through my credit card. Total bill they generated was 2805 but actual bill is 2450. He has given all the reduction. Finally I visited Guindy Airtel office, a guy in that office told that credit card machine not working. I conveyed the same to Ravishankar.

Again they were keep on calling (4 times a day). Finally I was convinced to pay the whole amount Rs.2805 through online. The excess amount I paid will be reduced in next month bill, a lady called Laxmi promised and given her number ([protected]) for any more problems. I paid the bill on 08/08/2012 Wednesday. I have also requested the plan change to 599 per month with Laxmi. She told it will take another 3 more days. I complained about all the previously called support reps to her.

When I called Laxmi in [protected] on 10/08/2012 Friday. She did not pick it at all. so I called Ravishankar since I had his mobile number then came to know that the plan change request is not yet processed. Following is the reason.

Reason: LAXMI IS ON LEAVE

I got irated like anything. Already I am struggling without internet connection, they have wasted 2 days. Ravishankar requested me to wait for 4 more days. I shouted like anything. They don't even care about customers, not at all taking irresponsibility. Their Only responsibility is to collect the money from customers after that they wont care.

NOT AT ALL WORTH TO BE A CUSTOMER CARE


So I would suggest not to go for AIRTEL please.

    i am manorama yadav n my complaint pertains to my airtel fixedline no. 4080682. i want my broadband service to be snapped at the earliest.
    i am manorama yadav and my complaint pertains to my fixed line no. 4080682.
    i use the broadband service of rs. 250 a month but since i needed an unlimited sevice for a month (17 april 2011 to 17 may 2011) i enquired about the availability of such a plan.i was informed in the local office that such a plan was available n i will get an unlimited service for a month for an expense of rs. 750 which would be added in my bill for next month. but the next month the bill i received was of rs. 1464 n when i enquired about the excess amount to be payed i was told that no such plan is available and the confusion was caused by the mistake of an employee in the airtel office.i would have to pay rs. 1464 and not rs. 750 since past few days i have been undertaking several rounds to the airtel pffice but to no use.i wish that this matter be immediately looked into and addressed accordingly.

      This is Sunil Singhal,my airtel number is [protected].this is with reference to cbdmo [protected], my conversation with ur customer care executive Nand Swaroop.i got my phone recharged as follows
      25 may-Rs 50
      27 may -two recharges of Rs50 each
      28 may -Rs 20
      all of these recharges were sucessfulul and i even received the confirmation messages.but a little later each one of them was nullified.on contacting customer service ,ur Nand Swaroop rebuked me and called me a cheater and a liar and accused dat i hadnt got any of these recharges done.he even did not take into account the confirmation messages and clearly refused to lodge a complaint in this regard.people like him are a liability to the company and create suspicion on the goodwill of the company,pls take action against him.

      mysels sudhansu of prepaid no([protected])i am very disappointed by the service offered by Airtel and the worst is that no body is there to listen, all gives you the false statements.
      had so many complain no. i want to cancel my 460 plan, had talked to cust care, they told me it ll be cancelled after 24 hours. i wait for that,but there is nothing changed,but after that my cust care service is blocked by airtel. and the problem is still unsolved

      I would like to inform u that on 8th evening at around 2-3 pm, I recd msg from Airtel saying, " TKS FOR DOWNLOADING JAVA SCRIPT GAME " and had deducted Rs. 50/- from my account without downloading the game.

      I complained about this to one of your Staff "Ms. Bhanu" on the 9th morning, who said that I will get complaint No. But so far writing this letter, I hv not recd any complaint No.

      I would request you to look into this matter and revert the amount of Rs. 50/- to my account.

      Myself Dheeraj Gupta.

      I'm a resident of Shastri Nagar, Ghaziabad. I applied countless times in airtel broadband office for a new broadband connection. But every time I got a deny from the company's officials stating that I won't get it..

      On the other hand my friends residing in the same colony same area are using the airtel broadband for the last many months..
      I sent my application to the nodal offices also but in vain. There's no one to hear me.
      & whenever I contact them they refuse to provide me a new connection...

      my networt (voice clearity)disturbes and the call disconnects automecically.and i started new gprs connection.so i called customer care and despite of my calls some times i couldnt listen to the voice of customer care or couldnt connect it.after some tries my calls were autometically disconnected saying i had covered the call limit...this is a total harasment, they shouldnt be given this authority to disconnect your call when the actuall fault is theres...when u need the help the most for computer settings its just disgusting

      I am prepaid customer of Airtel mobile since last 4 years. I am not fully satisfied with service but now I am facing some other problem with them. I have recharge with their scheme of Rs.63/- in this scheme they told me that local A-A charge 0.40, A to Other local call 0.60 & STD Rs.1/- per min. But after recharging the call rate is different. After comlaint they told me that to u a special scheme is given but they never told me or never sms me for the new scheme. From last 2 days when I want to speak to customer exceutive on 121 - call center no or helpline no they disconnect my phone.

      Please help me how to solve the problem.

      This is to inform u that i converted my post paid connection to prepaid in feb.2008, there was some secqurity money deposited against that connection after this conversion that money which is approx Rs.750/-should be refundable.Inspite of regular visit at your local haridwar office, not geting a proper responce

      Now a days, Response from the airtel prepaid customer care is not at all good they are not valuing customers, they are just putting down the calls when we are asking queries and i think they are not well trained and they took the seat to response to customers this a bloody this is carried over in airtel, . this is a big issue and today i called so many times to customer care they done the same thing . and i thought to book compliant in consumer complaint iam booking this . if they are not suppose to understand the customer needs then why the bloody customer service they are providing and what is the need of that company "AIRTEL" many other services doing the better service compared to airtel. Customer is more important to survice in any buisiness. but the airtel prepaid is recruiting and not providing good services to customers.

      I tried to Airtel customer service and they put me on hold for at least 15 minutes. This is a real pathetic state of affairs. Is it because I am on pre paid? Do post paid users get more preference in Airtel? Of course I know the company staff would deny this. But generally is this what other users have experienced, I would love to know.

      I have been using airtel prepaid connection for almost 6 years. I have faced issues but over the years the customer care service has gone really bad.

I have reported the issue 4 times, they assured that it will be solved on 27th May 2009. sadly it has not, and i lost my temper when i called them on 28th after i received similar calls, one of the representative Naveen, just cut the call after i said i want to talk to your supervisor. Later i called again and made it a point to speak to Hemanth who is supposed to be the supervisor, i told him about the issue, but in vain, he said it will take another week to resolve.

      It frustrating to call the customer care, they hardly know their job, and dont even have the basic decency to handle a call. I have been receiving calls twice a day, i leave my important work and try to reach the phone only to realize that its the same stupid number.

      I am waiting to change my service provider once the new rule by the govt comes in where in we can still retain the same number.

      on 17.10.09 i e recharged my airtel delhi no.[protected] which was at thtat time on roaming, with 60 rs., after which 52 rs. talktime should have been credited to my account, but i recieved no talktime. when i called the delhi customer care, they told me that for diwali, there was a new tariff offer on recharge of 60 rs. when i complained that i hadnt been notified about such an offer through sms or other, i was told my no. was on DND service. i have never subscribed for DND service. and would like to have my money back as i want 52rs. talktime and not any stupid tarrif plan.

        This is to bring you to notice that Afxisi Technology Services Pvt Ltd., had subscribed the PRI number and leased line connection in January. Mr. Poovendran and Ms. Nivedhitha respectively. Also three people from the Bangalore head office came over to my office and convinced me to signup for your services.

        When we took Leasedline Airtel gave an offer to take PRI without any deposits and setup cost.

        The installation got over on 2nd of January 2010 but they got the sign stating it has been done by 31st Dec 2009 and frequent disconnections started with our Leased line and PRI connection this time. Whenever we get incoming calls there were disturbances on the line and it gets cut, there are also time when the full line was down till 2days. So we did not pay the amount for PRI from the 2nd month. But we pre-payed the leased line for three months for which the line didnt work for last 30 days. We placed a formal complaint to airtel regarding this issue and people came over to check the lines but nothing worked. So we took our complaint to the next level and they sent us some excel sheet of numbers to be contacted that was also of no use we are dogged here and there. When we tried to contact people who came by the office to convince us for the order, they had all quit their job and had switched over. We later did not pay even for the leased line.

        On last week of September 2010 an Airtel executive came to the office and told me that Rs. 23000/- was pending on the bills of PRI number; they also told that if we gave them Rs. 4000/- right away, they would close the account.

        Later, a person named Raj Singh called and told me that he was speaking from the high court and there’s a case on my company (Afxisi), for not paying the due bill to Airtel . He also told that I was to be in the court that day (Saturday, 9th October 2010) or he will send local chennai police and arrest me, and CK Roy was the advocate who Handels this case on my comany regarding this payment. When contacted Ck Roy and his assistant Sadhana was giving me 10min to 30 min time to pay the bill or else we will send a fax to chennai police to arrest me, when asked why they went forward with the case without even informing, she told me that, he had sent a notice to the office previously through the Tamil Nadu court and I did not respond to it, hence they took it to Delhi high court. They told me that if I didn’t pay the due money by 11.30 a.m Saturday, they would send a fax to the Chennai Police and arrest me. Hence, I paid Rs. 23000/- to the Airtel Showroom in Adyar on Saturday, 9th October 2010 around 12.45 p.m . Meanwhile I got another call from Sadhana ( CK Roy’s assistant) saying she is going to proceed the case with the Chennai police for I haven’t paid it still ( she called before I could pay the bill). I told her that I am already at the showroom to pay the cash and ended the call.

        I then paid and went to the T. Nagar Airtel Enterprises Services office and spoke about this issue to Mr. Santhosh, explained the whole problem and asked why did they do this to me. He said that they had no idea about all these things and claimed it to be fake and the collection agency had performed this drama. He gave me a contact and asked me to take this issue to them. I took this issue to Mr. Balagangadharan of PRI team on Monday 11/10/2010 afternoon he also said they have no connection with this drama, the collection agency has done this and asked to file a compliant formally in the police station.


        No response from Airtel and i couldn't follow it up for a long time.
        NEVER TAKE A CONNECTION FROM AIRTEL THEY ARE BIG TIME CHEATERS

            Hi sir, I am a happy customer to Air tel broad band services from the past two years. From Jan.2011, their call centre exe. called me and informed that i will receive bills to my email id. But I never got any bill from Jan to my email id. I have been paying my bill for an approximate amount for Jan & Feb.,requesting their call centre people to send normal bill but in vain.. They disconne the connection on 25th March on the pretext that i have not paid the bill. I changed my service provider from April 2011. I sent all this information to their appellate authority, requesting them to settle this matter. I paid the bill till March month but now every day their call centre people are harassing mr to pay from April month bills. They sent an email t me that they disconnected the connection in May. I request you to kindly involve in this and resolve the issue, as they are harrassing me for payment for previously disconnected connection.

                I am shifted my house on 10th June two days before I call to Airtel DTH Customer Care they booked the complaint and said that with in 2 days their techinician will come to my home and install the new connection. But still today i.e 16-06-11 there is no response. When I call to them they said installation already completed. Actually no one came to my home to install. I really feel bad why I choose the Stupid AIRTEL DTH?.
                Yesterday I called to customer care their executive told that I said wrong information for longing complaint. Actually I told them " I am shifting my home to another area. Please reinstall the dish". I don't understand whats wrong in that words.

                Overall I choose Reliance Digital TV. They give best service in DTH sector. The picture & sound quality is better than AIRTEL DTH.

                Very poor service. I recommened not go for AIRTEL DTH as their customer care is hopeless. Not giving proper response. Even I called them 5 to 6 time for reinstallation they never give me positive resposnse. So don't purchase AIRTEL DTH... Ganesh Yadav, Mumbai

                    if my recent problem of SM2 for cust id [protected] doesnt get solved soon then dat will be the end of airtel dish tv service as far as im concerned! I just recharged it with Rs. 400 few days back and suddenly SM2 problem is flashing on my tv screen... money doesnt grow on trees for anyone we work real hard for it... now its like i've flushed the money down the drain cos i have no hope whatsoever of getting the problem resolved...cos the last time i called cust care they were askin me yet some more stupid questions like wats my name and blah blah blah when i was in fact on an STD call as i dont have airtel phone connection, finally i was so frustrated that i ended the call without getting any resolution! dont buy stupid airtel people!

                      I recharged my phone with Rs. 36/- recharge option which was intimated to me via an sms from the service provider which said that I would be able to send local and national messages at 1 paise per sms for a period of 45 days. I got the same recharge done from an E-recharge service providing retailer.

                      Soon I realized that I was being charged 9 paise for some messages. On contacting the customer care executives, I was informed that the offer is applicable for only messages sent to Airtel customers and that messages going to mobile phones with a different service provider would be charged at 9 paisa per sms.

                      Since there was no disclosure about the conditions applicable to this offer either in the message sent to me by the service provider nor in the rate cards available with the E-recharge service providing retailer nor is any information available on the website of my service provider, I requested the customer care executive to deactivate this offer and return the amount charged. To my utter surprise, I was replied that there is a basic condition for any recharge option that they can be changed at any moment without any intimation to the customer and when a second request was made to the customer care executive, she asked if she could help me out for any other thing and then disconnected the call. [Request reference number being CBDVS[protected]]

                      This is something that is not expected from a service provider like Airtel which happens to be India's most preferred mobile service provider known for the quality of its premium services. The response given by the customer care executive was barely less than rude and a retail prepaid customer like me and the millions of people like me have no other option but to bear the brunt of the hidden conditions kept by the mobile service providers.

                      The number on which I recharged this amount is +[protected].

                      I would be glad if this message reaches the management of Airtel so that they maintain the ethical standards in doing their business. I understand that we all do business for money but it is not acceptable if it is to be done by duping the customers.

                      Airtel Mobile - Prepaid — Unsolicited messages

                      Hi,
                      I've a pre-paid mobile (of lifetime usage) of Airtel with no.:[protected].
                      1. I've been getting un-wanted SMSs, naughty jokes ,which started first with the message: you will be deducted Rs.10/week for jokes-a-day service, which was never subscribed by me.
                      2. Initial messages had contained a code for un-subscribing the service, which I promptly used. After
                      a break of 2 weeks these jokes started appearing again, without the option for unsubscribing.
                      3. On a particular week-end, another message proclaimed that I have been enrolled for 'audio movies'
                      broadcast; my immediate replies to that no. (54312), had an audacious prompt :' reply within 5 minutes'.
                      4. Airtel website gives me only local addresses, where one has to go there and complain.
                      5. Yesterday too a naughty,filthy joke appeared, without even the no. being sent.
                      6. I will switchover to another safe operator if this continues for another week.
                      7. Lifetime subscribers are being taken for a ride by Airtel.

                      My name is Khushbu Fuladi, living in Pune from last 2 yrs. I want to lodge a complaint against the Marketing Team of Airtel. Today 29 th Dec 09 at 10 Am I called Customer Care of Airtel by dialing 121, I lodge a complaint regarding sudden deduction in my balance due to subscription of Airtel Radio Service. I never want this subscription, in the sake of my money I called Customer Care Center. I talked with Ms.Ketana, one of the customer care executive, she told me that you dial the subscription number, that's why that scheme was activated, also she gave me request number for that, which is[protected]. But in the message i got my reference request number as [protected]. This shows the Airtel people dont know there work properly. But I never dialed that subscription number, as in i don't need that subscription, I have a proof for that also. These marketing guys deduct money from the customer's balance in sake to show increase in there targets only. But in between the customer's are suffering. We need to call the customer care all the time in between our busy work schedules. This is one of the kind of mental harassment for the customers. The marketing guys dare to do so just because of poor management, nothing else. Hope this will be sorted soon. Looking forward with Airtel.

                      Airtel — ethic less service

                      i have been a valid customer for Airtel for the past 4years and i have been paying the bill through ECS (direct debit) no one even ddares to do that with airtel.Though the bills are on higher side i never bothered. Recently Mobile number portability came (MPN) and i heve decided to move to bsnl, and i have applied for the same.All the process got completed and my mobile service changed to bsnl retaining the same number.Every thing was OK,i got a call from Airtel that final amount is not cleared stating that final payment was not debited from my A/C which iwas not aware. I paid the service and cleared the amount on 21 feb-2011 (due date 01-Mar-2011).But that ethic less person sent a message without my intimation to BSNL stating that i have not cleared the final payment ,Knowing that BSNL disconnected my service without intimation.And when i visited the concerned AIRTEL office they have simply denied that everything is clear from their side and they have given clearance.Whereas BSNL office members clearely showed us that they have sent msg on Mar-08, this indicates that AIRTEL is the best ethicless company and the cheating,fraud service provider.And he has done it intentionally with envy.
                      I totally agree with this. I was told by the customer care executive in a similar case that the company has a basic condition that the plans and offers it is offering are subject to change without prior notice. This means that the company can show a lucrative offer on one day and the next day, say that the offer has expired and not give the benefits to its customers.

                      Serious actions needs to be taken.

I have submitted my documents at Airtel – white field office which is just opposite to Bimal show room on 4-jun-11. Till now, I haven't got any update. When I call the Airtel customer care they told me that my number is not in their port-in database. So i went personally to that Airtel office and enquired them about the status.                             Dear Sir,
                            I got my blackberry service activated on my Cell no. [protected] in Mar 2011 under the Rs 399/- p.m. prepaid plan. I was told at the time that my plan will be renewed automatically every month as long as a balance of Rs 399/- is available at the time of renewal, which has always been maintained. However, every month it is getting deactivated and I have to go to great trouble to reactivate it. In the present case, the Tech Support team is asking me to go through the process of reactivation by SMS which is a time consuming process.
                            The very purpose of having a BB for mails is defeated in the process due to this unreliable service provided by Airtel. Would request Airtel to please address the problem.

                              Sir i would like to have your kind attention i have an airtel digital tv multi connection id [protected] one of the box is a dvr box. I wanted to change the dvr box to hd dvr box so i left my name and telephone number on your website. I got a call from airtel representative next day i enquired the same she said yes you can change your dvr box to hd dvr box and she informed that i have to make a payment of rs 3990.00 so i made the payment using my credit card my transaction no is[protected]. After 15 days i got a call from your local airtel service center that my hd dvr box have arrived i requested them to installed that box in my premises as soon as possible. After few minutes i again recieved a call from your local airtel center that there is no rules from airtel that a dvr box could be changed to hd dvr box, i was shocked that airtel sold be the hd dvr box with false statement.

                              I would like to request you to kindly look into this matter and solve the problem as soon as possible and activate the hd dvr box. If not looked upon the matter quickly i would be bound to move to the consumer form for the resolution of the problem. Hope you will solve the problem quickly. Thank you

                              I applied for the Airtel Digitel TV HD + DVR last week. Then I got a call from Vriti Infocomm, Noida giving me details n the product code. Then I made the online payment of Rs. 7750. Now they are telling me that the set top box is still not launched I 'll have to wait more for the product. Now when i call their office they are not receiving my calls. Please help me with the same. I have asked for the refund but I m not getting any response.
                              Do not buy Airtel dish. Their service is simply pathetic. Life afterwards will be miserable. This company has no ears to listen customer complain. I got their HD connection complimentory with my plasma TV but need to replace with some other connection.

                                The telephone num in regards is[protected], this connection was under my grandfather's name Shri. Late H.K.Khera, who passed away in nov 2010. I have been calling the customer services since dec 2010 to cancel the services and mailing the nodel officer, till date connection is not closed and these collection agents are calling day by day and asking for payment, which i am not lible for, I made the payment in jan this year after speaking with customer services, and they said that, its the final payment, I have been collecting ticket numbers since dec 2010 till date from nodel officer and customer services but the connection is still not closed.
                                My request to you is to please help me from this troma which me and my family is facing.

                                  I'd asked for Airtel Broadband at the below address:

                                  Aikya Apartments,
                                  Off Bannerghatta Road,
                                  Near Meenkashi Temple,
                                  Bangalore

                                  A guy came (Jagadeesh - [protected]), collected documents (CAF: 243375) and a cheque for Rs. 1099/- and promised a connection in 4 days. This was on 17 May 2011. The cheque was encashed on 20th May 2011. No news from the guy from there on. Called him many times. He gave vague responses and finally gave another guy's number and said it's his manager's (Rajiv - [protected]). This guy was not bothered at all and said he doesn't know when it will be done!!!! It's been a month now. I am tired of following up. And the two guys have stopped taking my calls. I don't want your broadband because if you are so callous about providing a connection then wonder what your service would be when you've hooked me up!!!

                                  Refund my money and I'll gladly get some other service provider to install a connection.

                                    I am seriously disappointed with the customer service that I have received in last few days. I am not receiving any signal since 11th June, 2011.

                                    11th June- I tried calling the customer service a number of times. But, most of the times, the agents disconnected my calls. After about 7 calls, I was finally told that my complaint cannot be registered as the system was down. I am OK with that answer, but that answer needs to be given at first call not after 7 calls. I had wasted about an hour on this day to no use.

                                    12th June- I again try logging a complaint in the morning. But only after a few calls, I successfully register the complaint. In the first or second call this morning, after I logged the call, I was asked to wait for complaint number. But the call was disconnected in the process. I call up again immediately, and was told there was no complaint registered. After successful complaint registration ( Complaint no. : 8971371 ), I was informed, that the engineer would visit my place before 3:30. I wait till 4:30, before calling up again. I am informed that the status is open, but it would require another 24 hours, as they would send the complaint once again. Why do you need to send the complaint once again when it has already been sent. And why 24 hours more when it has already crossed 24 hours once.

                                    13th June- I am expecting the engineer to be coming by end of the day atleast. I get a lot of calls from engineer saying they will be coming by EOD. But, they never come. I again call up customer care but no response.

                                    14th June- I try calling up customer care in the morning. Again the same story. I am informed that the status is open, but it would require another 24 hours, as they would send the complaint once again. Why do you need to send the complaint once again when it has already been sent. And why 24 hours more when it has already crossed 72 hours.


                                    I request you to check my call logs for these days and try to understand the events.
                                    1) My calls were abruptly disconnected so many time.
                                    2) Whenever I asked to register a complaint, I was asked to hold for long time without any response
                                    3) On 11th June, a certain Mr. Rajkumar asked me to perform some troubleshooting steps, which completely screwed my STB
                                    4) On 14th June, morning, I was told that this connection does not belong to you (Jitendra Doshi) although all other details were matching. Do check this call.

                                    I am fed up of this kind of service. I expect good quality of service especially from Airtel as I believe it is a good company. I have dealed with a lot of service providers in my life. I am sorry to say this, but the quality of service I have received from you is lower than even some of the government organizations.

                                    If you check my account for last few months, I have repeatedly paid service charge of Rs. 100/- almost monthly. It has become like a hidden charge of 100 Rs. per month.

                                    I have faced a large amount of ordeal, more so in last few days. I think I cant tolerate any more. In these days, not only I have lost 4 days of my service that I pay for, but also hours of my time calling the customer care. I don’t think it can be compensated.


                                    Hence, I would like to discontinue the services and request you to refund the remaining balance as I am not doing this by choice. It is because, I am left with no choice.

                                    I would appreciate a prompt reply.

                                      My mobile number is [protected]. It has automatically subscribed to a few extra services. For example, I was recently subscribed to BollyHindi at Rs. 10/day.

                                      I tried getting in touch with one of your representatives but couldn't get through.

                                      Kindly remove any such extra services from my number and credit the amount to my account as soon as possible.

                                        I took 3G Airtel Data card bearing the no. [protected] from Airtel outlet at G.S. Road in Guwahati. For the last four months or so, I have been paying an amount ranging from Rs 980 to Rs 1050 per month.

                                        The service was very poor. I realised that the company had been charging me for the 3G service which was not available in Guwahati at that point of time. I went to the Airtel Outlet in G.S. Road again on 14 April 2011 to discontinue the service as I felt cheated and I was amazed that the company would resort to this kind of mis-selling. However, I was told that I would not be allowed to discontinue before the completion of 6 months. Another arm twisting tactic which I felt was grossly unfair. The executive there admitted that 3G facility had not been extended to Assam. She requested me to change the plan. As I believed in giving a second chance to people, I filled up the form for the change of plan.

                                        Unfortunately, when I received the bill, Airtel had again charged me for 3G facility. Enough is enough. I got the data card disconnected. I will not pay this bill.
                                        I paid the earlier bills under protest. I want Airtel to quickly rederess this complaint.

                                        I feel : (a) Customers should be given the service for which they have paid.
                                        (b) Airtel should not take advantage of the customers by taking them for a
                                        ride.
                                        (c) Airtel should apologise for the mis-selling
