Hi,

This is the fourth time I have lodged complaints regarding Airtel. I would like you to please take strong action against Airtel as they are continuously deducting my recharge amount. Without making any call i see at the end of the day atleast Rs 50 has been charged and deducted from my prepaid recharge. Without any information they download wallpapers/ screensavers and activate other services and deduct money from my account for which I am not at all aware. This is not at all acceptable. How can such big companies be fraud and cheat people.

One of the Aritel Executive Named Senthil came to my House on Friday 24.06.11 for getting my details his number is [protected] he asked me to fill the form and asked to pay the advance rental for my plan its Rs 1400. I paid that to him he gave me a copy form the Airtel form and told me that i would get connection in 2 days. But still now no update i tried calling is number but it was switched off all the time. When i called airtel customer care they asked for the form number i gave them they told the form details are not logged in. Don't know what to do and how can i get my Money Back.

    Airtel — Fraud Executive Cheated

      I am the consumer of Airtel Mobile company having mobile number [protected].
      he company without use of airtel tv service recoverin the charges of Rs. 150 per moonth since month of April 2011.
      when message was sent to see/deactivate the services fo my connection it shows that " NO SERVICES ARE ACTIVE ON OU NUMBER" and when bill comes it reflects the charges of Rs. 150 under the title of "SMS OTHERS".
      Even after various complaints[protected] the amount has not been adjusted as promised.
      kindly do the needfull.

      Postpaid Airtel Servide — Payment

      I have credited to my Airtel Account through online ICICI account before the due date.
      Without giving any prior warning Airtel has cut my mobile service on 16th Jan 2007.

      AIRTEL POSTPAID MOBILE SERVICE — Overbilling and rude behaviour of staff

      Dear Airtel manager of customer care
      I am a professional working in top Institution of the country. My OCtober and November bill are overmade. My monthly bill has never crossed 500-600 except when I am roaming. A girl from airtel calls me to know whether I am staisfied with airtel services or not.I tell her that please get me duplicate bills as my address has changed and I am not getting bills . I need the bills for reimbursement. That was probably my biggest mistake as the next bill she sends me is of more than RS 2300 and 2500 SMS have been charged to me. A busy doctor like me who doesnot have time for lunch, I fail to see how I could have sent so many messages. Moreover half the numbers donot exist and every minute messages are there.
      I have made repeated requests but to no avail
      Right now I want to specifically make complaint against Mr Lakhbeer Singhfrom Chandigarh who is very rude and abusive. I donot know how airtel can have such employees.He rang me up to tell me that last payment I made was 500 rs in Sep . I have proof (receipt form airtell that I paid 1050 in October and 652 two days back
      My OCT and NOV bill are overmade and Under no circumstances I am going to pay a fat bill to airtel .
      So, please tell your people to be courteous and make aproper bill . I also want to get rid off airtel. You are the worst service provider that is I am going to tell everybody if same kind of behaviour goes on.

      Then, I call to customer care dept then they replied me” you will pay your only call charge which is used by you in the next month the blackberry charge will be definitely deducted". So i paid my call charges Rs.800.

      But in the next month i received my bill of Rs. 17041.13, they again added the charges of blackberry and late fees so i again call to customer care and i came to know that the blackberry request is not given by my mob this request is given by another mobile no. that is [protected] and this no. is not of mine & the Lady who having this no. she is already accepted that I have done this mistake.The Collection Dpt. of Airtel always harras me about this matter.

      So kindly look at this matter as soon as possible.

      Airtel Postpaid — behaviour

      my airtel no [protected] (panipat).last 20 days i have lost my no in other city .some personaly reason i was not deposited my bill sum of rs 1144/-. past few days a airtel franchise its name mahalaxmi and city chandigarh [protected] call me and talk but its behaviour like a cheap . and she trace my calls and calling them and say if rohit not pay the bill then u submit him bill sum of rs 5000/- and many use abuse language like tum khana to khate hoge , bikhari , stupid and many word .. i will be paid my bill its not dout but firstly action against this company pls take a action and revert me asap.

      AIRTEL POSTPAID MOBILE SERVICE — Malappropriation of payment

      Sir,

      I had paid my Airtel postpaid mobile bill amounting Rs.134.68 on 26th december ,2009 through online banking from my ICICI bank a/c. This transaction was done through Indiaideas.com ltd and my token number was[protected]. My bank a/c statement is showing a debit amount of Rs.134.68 paid to "Indiaideas.com ltd/airt". However Airtel is claiming that they have not received any kind of payment from me on that date. Morever the site Indiaideas.com is found to be not existing. This whole incident seems fishy to me as my bank a/c is rightly showing that the transaction has been completed whereas Airtel is claiming of non-receipt.
      Thereby I request you to investigate the mode of transactions carried by Airtel and clear the doubts about the existence of Indiaideas.com ltd.

      Airtel — Unused charges

      I am Mrs. Sarala using the Airtel mobile connection vide no [protected] for the past 7 years. Though the service has been poor for quiet a while and today i received a startling message that i''ve been using internet from my mobile phone which is not true.

      Repeated calls to customer care proved futile and the casual attitude of the Airtel customer care executives did not help me in completing the complaint to them. The arrogant way the calls being disconnected (Ms. Geetha, Ms. Revathi, Mr. Gnanamurthy) does not argue well with the company.

      Now, since i did not subscribe for the internet through my mobile and also i have been charged erroneously. I want the service to be withdrawn with immediate effect and also credit the charges levied unauthorisedly into my account without any further delay failing which i will be constrained to initiate legal proceedings against Airtel.

      Airtel — Mobile Overbilling

      I took the postpaid mobile connection no.[protected] under corporate scheme. On the cofirmation call i conveyed him to reduce the credit limit to Rs. 800 and same been also reduced being handled by my kid 10 year old i.e. the used beyond the credit limit the services will the cut off by the service provider. But i got the bill of Rs 1301 only for 16 days. When i approached the costumer care -121 and also to Mr. Rahul Chabra (.....Manager) by mail and been replied that the credit limit can never be fixed it depend on your credit history. It is very irresponsible answer because it was my first bill so there is no question of credit history.

      Airtel — Abusive behaviour by billing department

      Today on May11,2011 at 13:32, I got a call from one of your executive. The number was [protected]. She was asking me whether I know Mr.Ankush Bajaj or not. She was saying that he didn't pay his bill and he called me someday and she got my number from his bill details. She wanted new number of Ankush Bajaj from me. But when I denied and told her that I don't know any person by this name, then she started behaving rudely. She also used abusive language with me.

      If Ankush Bajaj didn't pay his bill then I am in no way connected to that. I don't know why I was involved in that and want to make a serious complaint on this matter.

      Airtel — Unused service Charges

      Hi Team,

      I have been regularly charged for Gclub and Video vouge. I dont know what this is and being charged.

      And I need to call customer care and pay for the call for them to listen to my complaint. and still no action from them.

      Can some one get this charges reversed.

        Sub : False Bill By Airtel

        Dear Sir,

        Mr. Manoj ( [protected] ) visited my house and asked to get Airtel Broadband connection. He said that I have to pay only Rs.250 for connection. The package also offered a free landline phone connection.
        I gave him the cheque and CAF.

        Later, when Airtel persons came for installation of phone line. They informed my wife ( I was not present at Home ) that there are many other charges which were not told to me by Mr. Manoj. My wife refused the connection.

        I received a bill later from Airtel for the connection which we never had.

        The account number is [protected]. Related Phone number is as per Mr. Nilesh ( [protected] )is 41231402.

        I received many calls for payment and many Airtel reps visited my house for demanding the outstanding bill.

        I have explained them and also visited Airtel office at Lake city Mall, Kapurbavdi, Thane and explained the issue. I met Mr. Lalit Pandey ( [protected] ) and one lady working there. I have been told that the bill will be condoned and I need not to pay any bill.

        Later , I received a reminder letter No. PRN_09TH_APRIL2011_3323 dated 9th April 2011 notice for paying the bill.

        I talked to Mr. Nilesh and Mr. Lalit Pandey several times and they said all bill will be cancelled but nothing has happened.

        On 23rd / 24th Jun 2011, I got a call from Mr. Dinanath ( [protected] ) regarding a case is being filed against me in Tis Hazari Court, Delhi for payment with Penalty of Appox. Rs. 49000.


        I spoke to Mr. Nilesh on 27th Jun 2011 and he promised that all bills will be cancelled.

        I have talked to Mr. Nilesh Rane again on 28 Jun 11 and he confirmed me that bills will be cancelled.

        You are requested to lodge my complaint for disturbing me with false bill , reminders, phone calls and persons visiting for collection.

        Please send me the cancellation letter of all bills.

        If , not , I will be forced to lodge FIR.

        Thanking you in anticipation. Your help will be highly appreciable.

          Hello Sir,

          I got a message saying "you are charged 10 Rs for downloading Hungama content game from Airtel", even when I have not clicked 'ok' when I get advertisement messages or followed any links, as I have already experienced such deductions.

          This is repeatedly happening, and it is for the fifth time I being deducted of money like this. Just a week before I was charged for activating "rural IVR".

          When I call customer care to inquire about this I get the same disappointing answer-"you have activated the service, hence you are charged" I really have no idea when do i subscribe for all these. More over the Airtel customer care executives(Mrs/Ms Savitha, #55 Divyashree complex, Opp Jayadeva hospital. Bangalore) are as irresponsible as one can be while answering. She is like " Go and tell who ever you want, I can't do anything. You opted for it and you have been charged for the same, thats it", I never expected somebody to speak like this.

          Please help me what I can do in this situations? I will always be speaking to some unknown voice if I call customer care and I have realized it is again wasting money(50 ps for 3 mins).

          airtel/ airtel live — activation of airtel live service

          i purchased an airtel mobile connection on 29 sep 08. i requested for the activation of 'airtel live' service to access internet on my mobile on 29 sep 08 by sending a sms 'FUN' to 54321 as i was told to do.Despite calling and complaining about the issue to the customer care of the company, till date my service has not been activated. it has been about a month now and i am facing much trouble due to the carelessness of the company. please help me out.

            I left bharti airtel chandigarh on 9th oct 2007 and joined Genpact delhi on 10th oct 2007. Applied for pf transfer in genpact, which is not yet transferred. Its been 4 years now and it has caused svere mental trauma to me. As a last resort i am writing into your forum and expecting a positive turn to end this trauma.

            My pf accumulation from Bharti Airtel ltd a/c- PB/CH/21346/001371 is to be transferred to Genpact India employees pf trust- E/DL/20546/56769.

            Genpact has written to bharti for transfer of PF ACCUMULATION in letter ref no. JRFS/4000/004000/23 SEPT-08. In reply i got to know that Airtel has stopped the transfer.

            No company can hold an employees PF since it is illegal. I need your help in resolving this because at RPFC chandigarh is neither replying to my courier sent on[protected] nor answering anything properly on phone calls. its been 6 months of painfull follow up with them.

              Dear Sir,

              I am Khader Basha, i stay in KR Puram, Bangalore. I am an existing customer of airtel digital TV (Customer ID : [protected]).
              Last month i subscribed to an addon channel 'E24' for which i have paid 5.52 rupees on[protected]. When i checked my account in the airtel digital TV web site portal last time i found that another 5.52 rupees has been deducted towards negative ballance payments on[protected].
              I am sure that my airtel digital TV account has never gone in negative ballance.
              I have given a complaint to the customer care of airtel digital TV (ticket number :[protected] but i have not received any response yet.

                My Mobile No: is [removed], - With out my concent you are deducting the amount from my main balance my activating Airtel talkies etc. In future please do not activate and send any promotional messages in this number. Please reinstate the amount which you had deducted from my account on 28/06/2011.And Every time whenever I recharge with Rs 50 I will get only Rs 38. where actual talktime is Rs 40. many times i complained to customer care.but the problem is not yet solved. please help me in this regard.

                      Meanwhile I am paying airtel DTH on daily basis to view the DTH-service, which I am in no case getting due to apathy/callousness of airtel digitalTV service department.

                      Now please advise me how to get my money back along with compensation if airtel digitaltv is not able to provide me service.
                      Today i.e 28th June 2011 is the last deadline for airtel to start my service, else they may withdraw the connection permanently and compensate me suitably.

                      My right to claim compensation and/or damages by way of legal wrong remains intact.

                          that is why i had generate unique id,on 9/6/2011 after one day I have received call from AIRTEL on 10/6/2011 he told me if you retain with Airtel will get best call
                          rate .30pase local and 40pase std and 120 min. free airtel to airtel per month for two month these offer will aplicable within 24-48 hours but till now my call rates
                          have not been changed I have also called to costumer care many time they
                          told me your complained has been raged and problem short out within 24 hours
                          but till now my problem has not been resolved, since when I am trying everyday to
                          to costumer care and 198 but my call is not receiving, i have called and mail many time to nodal officer every time they told me your problem resolve within 24 to 48 hours but till now my problem has not been resolved

                          And another matter related to balance deduction my balance has been deducted many time about Rs.600 I have tried to call costumer care but call has not been received when i call nodal officer they credit some part of amount in my account and they tell me some service activate in your account due to some tacnical fault after that again my amount deducted i have called many time to nodel officer and appallate office and told them all servicees deactivate from my no. til now i did not get any resolution

                          Airtel — Calling Rate Problem

                          Hi,

                          I am continuosly facing problems with calling rates to STD. I recharged three times past 3 days( 34 Easy recharge) even calling rates still the same as previous. I reported several times to customer care 121 regarding my situation didn't get rectified. Please please make this rectified as soon as possible. I should daily call about 100 outgoing STD calls. Understand my situation rectify problem as soon as possilbe

                            I had recharged my airtel number with 1000 INR, which was filled under dedicated account 4 instead of main account, when I contacted airtel costumer care, they behaved negligently and did not pay any heed to my requests. I therfore was forced to report the matter to you. I request to look into the matter urgenty as the validity of the dedicated account 4 is just 1 month.


                            Hope action will be taken against it.

                              This is for the pthetic service provided by AIRTEL. I have been charged rs 5/- , Rs 25, Rs 55 for some stupid services like Hungama, Airtel TV, which i never activated. DEACTIVATE THE SERVICE FROM MY NUMBER ASAP.

                              Also , one suggestion, can you pls close your customer care centers???? coz the dont realy care for the customers!!!! The worst service provided i have ever seen AIRTEL

                              Hello!

                              Airtel has been deducting money from my balance for some service called "Hangama" which I never ever activated. When called the customer care they say we have taken a complaint and it will be deactivated on 4th Oct 11 at a very specific time, so you mean till then my money will deducted from my balance. They say they deduct Re.1/- which is never true it is always more than Re.1/- for sure.

                              And your customer care service is sometimes good because some really put themselves in our place and understand us. But some, that too a supervisor just cut the call abruptly when I was talking to her. How bad! is that what she is there for. Is that what is called a "Customer Care".

                              When your customers call you for some problem please try to help them at the earliest and Please stop deducting money unnecessary. And one more problem is that you charge more for 1 p/s.

                              I hope there is a way out.

                                I want to report a cheating by Airtel Telemedia services in Bhopal,M.P.
                                I am a customer of Airtel Broadband services since 7-8 years and paying my bills every month.
                                I am facing severe link drop problem since 3 months(the day i was migrated to new plan of 2 mbps speed).I am not even sit for a single day because of this link drop.I made 100s of complaint to customer care/field staff/Nodal/Appellete,but all wane...
                                Now,the bill is coming...see there are so many branches of Airtel...no branches have any linkages/cordination..One branch is stick to marketing,one sticks to billing,one stick for feedback and no one sees the thing that whether the customer is getting there services or not....Really it is a fact.
                                They have disconnected my connection due to non-payment, and i receives dozens of calls daily from airtel company for new plans offerings,there good services feedback etc etc...but no one knows that i am not getting services since 3 months till date and my connection is disconnected.
                                But,when i discuss that please me services,they tell that i will forward it to the department...& as usual no one turned back.
                                No one is serious in problem solving,all want bill hhahahha.
                                I am not going to give single penny to them because i havn't got any services.

                                  I Have a mobile connection in Ahmedabad , from customer care i had got the information that i can add a new Airtel connection to my CUG plan if the name and address dosenot match but the plan matches, I confirmed the same on the customer care 3 to 4 times On 14th June and the asked me to go to the Airtel shop for furthur formalities, on reaching Airtel shop They denied for the same and told that the information given by customer care executives were wrong!!! HOW CAN 3 TO 4 EXECUTIVES GIVE THE WRONG INFORMATION ON 198/121???

                                  It was a commitment given by the Airtel Executives that the number can be added to my CUG Group, I complained the same on the NODAL Desk, Appelet Desk, And from there i just got a reply that "WE ARE EXTREAMLY SORRY FOR THE COMMITMENT GIVEN, BUT WE CAN NOT PROCESS THE SAME"


                                  Its Our commitment to Aitrel that we will pay the bills on time and if we give the same excuse which they gave me I think it will work!!!!!!!!!!!


                                  IF AIRTEL CANNOT PROCESS THE COMMITMENT GIVEN THEN WHY SHOULD WE???????


                                  I am financially hurt by their mistake!!! I had to call up Nodal and Appelet desk where i was charged! Till date i have not received any reply from Nodal Desk!!! I had lodged a complain on 20th June 10.20 am talked with Lokesh ([protected]), and was given 24 hours feedback time, on not receiving the call from the Nodal desk i called the Nodal desk again and i was told that they need some more time to check the case and asked me to wait till 12.30 wednesday i.e. 23rd June, I did not get the reply from Nodal till 24th of June then again i called up the Nodal desk at 1.33pm, again I had to give all the details to a new nodal Officer and she told me that she will get back to me within 2 hours after getting details from Lokesh still the 2 hours are not over!!!!!


                                  PLEASE STOP ALL THIS NONSENSE. IF THEY CANT REVERT BACK STOP FOOLING THE CUSTOMERS BY GIVING NODAL DESK NUMBER!!!!
                                  ALSO CHECK HOW MUCH TIME DO THESE OFFICERS TAKE ON EACH CALL!!!


                                  I want Airtel to revert all the charges for which I was charged on contacting Nodal officer and even want the third connection to be added to my existing CUG group for which i was been told by Airtel Executives.

                                  I have purchased a new sim 4days back and my retailer named as ATLAST MOMENT(mira road) told me that i'll get 150 free sms for 1st month after sending 2 sms to any local airtel user which was fake information.Till that things were bearable but wen i called customer care executives for activation of my internet settings on my nokia handset it took them 5days but till date i didn't recive any kind of internet services from them. on top of that when i tried calling customer care one executive named ATHIKESH was so much in hurry that when i was asking about some solution on the same problem he interrupted me in between and started giving me his closing greeting when i interrupted between his closing greeting and ask him to give me a proper solution for that he ask me to call back again after some times because he wants to attend other customer as well.This is not the only Specimen there are more in Airtel like him namely Chirag, Kapil,Rahul,Chitiranjan Patil And more 8 People whose name i dont remember. One of the executive ask me not to call the customer care centre again and again for the same reason which was so pathetic & dissapointing.This is not Over after that i had a word with the concerend person who gave me internet setting manually but even that was incorrect so this means that the customer care executives working in AIRTEL has no knowlege about the AIRTEL. IT IS A KIND NOTICE YTO TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL OR ITS CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE.THEY DONT HAVE ANY INTEREST IN SOLVING CUSTOMERS QUERY INSPITE OF REAPETEDLY GIVING THEM COMPLAINTS AND SUGGESTION ON THIS I TOOK THIS STEP AS THERE IS STILL NO RESPONSE FROM AIRTEL.                                   i recharged an offer on my airtel mobile in kerala on an offer they send to my fone, am yet to get the balance they claimed. i tried 100 times to their customer care (121) and they dont give an otion of talk to customer care exec or to register complaint, there is no such option in their website as well. this is pure cheating. i called from land fone in their other number([protected]) a lady responded and asked me to complain in [protected]. but that number never gives an option to talk to customer care executive. they r just making fun of customers. am sure that the moment the number portability is implemented, i will be sitching to some other network

                                    I have a postpaid Airtel mobile connection ([protected]) in Bangalore and I activated 3G services in the month of May2011. The plan promised me broadband internet on phone for a monthly rental of Rs.450/- and a monthly upload/download limit of 600MB. I even paid the applicable bill for the usage in June2011.
                                    Then suddenly in the 3rd week of June Airtel barred all my outgoing calls. I contacted customer care several times to find out what was going on, and I was repeatedly told that my current usage billing was Rs. 16771.50/-. They asked me to make a payment of Rs.8,300/- to continue using the phone.

                                    I was shocked to find this and I questioned them, if my 600MB monthly plan costs me Rs.450/- and I had not used more than 400MB (they barred my outgoing calls/data traffic), how could the bill be more than the rental...? None of the customer care representatives provided me with details o[censored]sage/MB of data downloaded, charge per MB added on my bill, etc. They all repeated the same old story like a tape recorder and asked me to pay Rs.8,300 or they would not lift the bar.

                                    Not only did Airtel KK cheated me of service and my money, but they also put my official work/business at irreparable loss as I am still not able to communicate with my business peers for over a week now. They din't provide me the details that a consumer has rights to know, and they are extorting money from me to reactivate the connection. They din't provide me any grievance redressal and all their customer service people are hopelessly uselss, nobody even bothered to find out what went wrong.

                                    It is not possible to estimate the actual loss I have suffered, but I believe whatever bill amount they are asking me to pay itself is the loss plus my traveling expenses trying to reach-out to Officers.

                                    I hope this forum will help me get justice and let thousands of other victimized consumers know how Airtel is cheating us.

                                      Bharti airtel land line connection no [protected] with intercom no 5444 was installed at our premises.Last four nos were the intercom nos. of all the subscribers of this area.Airtel on their own alloted this no to someone else & changed our intercom no. to 6444 without our consent & information.Service provided was very poor in all aspects,be it installing,starting of intercom service,fault repairing,to contact the responsiblle person.Later they said it was due to technical reason.In the third week of feb 2011,the sevice to this connection went out of order.we submitted complaint and got two e-mails that the company is trying to fix the problem on priority basis to resume the services.after a wait of 10 days we connected to airtel.They informed us that there is a cable fault which can not be repaired without the approval of BSES.They also assured us that they will start the billing only after the service resumes fully.In the mean time a bill was sent to us by courier,the deleivery man mis behaved and tore off the letter,containing the bill for Rs 205/= which was paid by us in feb end.Same was the case with the other users of the area.After that no body from airtel bothered to contact us.It was presumed that airtel is either not able or not interested in continuing the service in the area.market association also informed its members that airtel is not able to continue intercom service.Now for last few days we have received the e-mails,that we have not received the payment of Rs.349/=(towards the sevice not provided by us,not availed by the user).We request the land line service provider company to send their responsible person to our shop to settle the matter.We are still interested to avail the service ,if fully functional and faultless,otherwise we are not using the same for last four months,they can see the records.
