    Hi, This is Roosevelt from Vizag, AP.

    I am shifted my house on 10th June two days before I call to Airtel DTH Customer Care they booked the complaint and said that with in 2 days their techinician will come to my home and install the new connection. But still today i.e 16-06-11 there is no response. When I call to them they said installation already completed. Actually no one came to my home to install. I really feel bad why I choose the Stupid AIRTEL DTH?.
    Yesterday I called to customer care their executive told that I said wrong information for longing complaint. Actually I told them " I am shifting my home to another area. Please reinstall the dish". I don't understand whats wrong in that words.

    Overall I choose Reliance Digital TV. They give best service in DTH sector. The picture & sound quality is better than AIRTEL DTH.

    Very poor service. I recommened not go for AIRTEL DTH as their customer care is hopeless. Not giving proper response. Even I called them 5 to 6 time for reinstallation they never give me positive resposnse. So don't purchase AIRTEL DTH... Ganesh Yadav, Mumbai

      hai, i am facing problem with airtel prepaid karnataka circle, my number is [protected] i am using bsnl since last 8 years ago but now i port( send all necesery documents to airtel ) with airtel last 4 months ago, no problem upto last week, but now my connection is deactivated from airtel no incomeing & out going i am conact with cus care several times they says incorrect documents so disconected, but i send 3 times for documnets but no solve from airtel please help to save my number to use i want it, & solve this airtel worst services please contact me [protected]

        if my recent problem of SM2 for cust id [protected] doesnt get solved soon then dat will be the end of airtel dish tv service as far as im concerned! I just recharged it with Rs. 400 few days back and suddenly SM2 problem is flashing on my tv screen... money doesnt grow on trees for anyone we work real hard for it... now its like i've flushed the money down the drain cos i have no hope whatsoever of getting the problem resolved...cos the last time i called cust care they were askin me yet some more stupid questions like wats my name and blah blah blah when i was in fact on an STD call as i dont have airtel phone connection, finally i was so frustrated that i ended the call without getting any resolution! dont buy stupid airtel people!

          I recharged my phone with Rs. 36/- recharge option which was intimated to me via an sms from the service provider which said that I would be able to send local and national messages at 1 paise per sms for a period of 45 days. I got the same recharge done from an E-recharge service providing retailer.

          Soon I realized that I was being charged 9 paise for some messages. On contacting the customer care executives, I was informed that the offer is applicable for only messages sent to Airtel customers and that messages going to mobile phones with a different service provider would be charged at 9 paisa per sms.

          Since there was no disclosure about the conditions applicable to this offer either in the message sent to me by the service provider nor in the rate cards available with the E-recharge service providing retailer nor is any information available on the website of my service provider, I requested the customer care executive to deactivate this offer and return the amount charged. To my utter surprise, I was replied that there is a basic condition for any recharge option that they can be changed at any moment without any intimation to the customer and when a second request was made to the customer care executive, she asked if she could help me out for any other thing and then disconnected the call. [Request reference number being CBDVS[protected]]

          This is something that is not expected from a service provider like Airtel which happens to be India's most preferred mobile service provider known for the quality of its premium services. The response given by the customer care executive was barely less than rude and a retail prepaid customer like me and the millions of people like me have no other option but to bear the brunt of the hidden conditions kept by the mobile service providers.

          The number on which I recharged this amount is +[protected].

          I would be glad if this message reaches the management of Airtel so that they maintain the ethical standards in doing their business. I understand that we all do business for money but it is not acceptable if it is to be done by duping the customers.

          Airtel Mobile - Prepaid — Unsolicited messages

          Hi,
          I've a pre-paid mobile (of lifetime usage) of Airtel with no.:[protected].
          1. I've been getting un-wanted SMSs, naughty jokes ,which started first with the message: you will be deducted Rs.10/week for jokes-a-day service, which was never subscribed by me.
          2. Initial messages had contained a code for un-subscribing the service, which I promptly used. After
          a break of 2 weeks these jokes started appearing again, without the option for unsubscribing.
          3. On a particular week-end, another message proclaimed that I have been enrolled for 'audio movies'
          broadcast; my immediate replies to that no. (54312), had an audacious prompt :' reply within 5 minutes'.
          4. Airtel website gives me only local addresses, where one has to go there and complain.
          5. Yesterday too a naughty,filthy joke appeared, without even the no. being sent.
          6. I will switchover to another safe operator if this continues for another week.
          7. Lifetime subscribers are being taken for a ride by Airtel.
          Dear Airtel Customer Service Team,

          My name is Khushbu Fuladi, living in Pune from last 2 yrs. I want to lodge a complaint against the Marketing Team of Airtel. Today 29 th Dec 09 at 10 Am I called Customer Care of Airtel by dialing 121, I lodge a complaint regarding sudden deduction in my balance due to subscription of Airtel Radio Service. I never want this subscription, in the sake of my money I called Customer Care Center. I talked with Ms.Ketana, one of the customer care executive, she told me that you dial the subscription number, that's why that scheme was activated, also she gave me request number for that, which is[protected]. But in the message i got my reference request number as [protected]. This shows the Airtel people dont know there work properly. But I never dialed that subscription number, as in i don't need that subscription, I have a proof for that also. These marketing guys deduct money from the customer's balance in sake to show increase in there targets only. But in between the customer's are suffering. We need to call the customer care all the time in between our busy work schedules. This is one of the kind of mental harassment for the customers. The marketing guys dare to do so just because of poor management, nothing else. Hope this will be sorted soon. Looking forward with Airtel.

          Airtel — ethic less service

          i have been a valid customer for Airtel for the past 4years and i have been paying the bill through ECS (direct debit) no one even ddares to do that with airtel.Though the bills are on higher side i never bothered. Recently Mobile number portability came (MPN) and i heve decided to move to bsnl, and i have applied for the same.All the process got completed and my mobile service changed to bsnl retaining the same number.Every thing was OK,i got a call from Airtel that final amount is not cleared stating that final payment was not debited from my A/C which iwas not aware. I paid the service and cleared the amount on 21 feb-2011 (due date 01-Mar-2011).But that ethic less person sent a message without my intimation to BSNL stating that i have not cleared the final payment ,Knowing that BSNL disconnected my service without intimation.And when i visited the concerned AIRTEL office they have simply denied that everything is clear from their side and they have given clearance.Whereas BSNL office members clearely showed us that they have sent msg on Mar-08, this indicates that AIRTEL is the best ethicless company and the cheating,fraud service provider.And he has done it intentionally with envy.
          I totally agree with this. I was told by the customer care executive in a similar case that the company has a basic condition that the plans and offers it is offering are subject to change without prior notice. This means that the company can show a lucrative offer on one day and the next day, say that the offer has expired and not give the benefits to its customers.

          Serious actions needs to be taken.

            Hi,
            I want to shift from Docomo to Airtel. My number is [protected]. I have submitted my documents at Airtel – white field office which is just opposite to Bimal show room on 4-jun-11. Till now, I haven't got any update. When I call the Airtel customer care they told me that my number is not in their port-in database. So i went personally to that Airtel office and enquired them about the status. They told me that they will call me in an hour. However I haven’t received any cal from them til now.

I understand that the bill needs to be paid but there is a certain way of dealing with things. I would like ot make it very clear to airtel and anyone related to it...I AM NOT PAYING ANY OF THE PEOPLE ANY MONEY, I WILL ONLY AND ONLY PAY TO THE AUTHORIZED AIRTEL KIOSKS"

                Dear Sir,
                I got my blackberry service activated on my Cell no. [protected] in Mar 2011 under the Rs 399/- p.m. prepaid plan. I was told at the time that my plan will be renewed automatically every month as long as a balance of Rs 399/- is available at the time of renewal, which has always been maintained. However, every month it is getting deactivated and I have to go to great trouble to reactivate it. In the present case, the Tech Support team is asking me to go through the process of reactivation by SMS which is a time consuming process.
                The very purpose of having a BB for mails is defeated in the process due to this unreliable service provided by Airtel. Would request Airtel to please address the problem.

                  Sir i would like to have your kind attention i have an airtel digital tv multi connection id [protected] one of the box is a dvr box. I wanted to change the dvr box to hd dvr box so i left my name and telephone number on your website. I got a call from airtel representative next day i enquired the same she said yes you can change your dvr box to hd dvr box and she informed that i have to make a payment of rs 3990.00 so i made the payment using my credit card my transaction no is[protected]. After 15 days i got a call from your local airtel service center that my hd dvr box have arrived i requested them to installed that box in my premises as soon as possible. After few minutes i again recieved a call from your local airtel center that there is no rules from airtel that a dvr box could be changed to hd dvr box, i was shocked that airtel sold be the hd dvr box with false statement.

                  I would like to request you to kindly look into this matter and solve the problem as soon as possible and activate the hd dvr box. If not looked upon the matter quickly i would be bound to move to the consumer form for the resolution of the problem. Hope you will solve the problem quickly. Thank you

                  Airtel Digital HD DVR — Not able to get the st top box after making full payment

                  I applied for the Airtel Digitel TV HD + DVR last week. Then I got a call from Vriti Infocomm, Noida giving me details n the product code. Then I made the online payment of Rs. 7750. Now they are telling me that the set top box is still not launched I 'll have to wait more for the product. Now when i call their office they are not receiving my calls. Please help me with the same. I have asked for the refund but I m not getting any response.
                  Do not buy Airtel dish. Their service is simply pathetic. Life afterwards will be miserable. This company has no ears to listen customer complain. I got their HD connection complimentory with my plasma TV but need to replace with some other connection.

                    The telephone num in regards is[protected], this connection was under my grandfather's name Shri. Late H.K.Khera, who passed away in nov 2010. I have been calling the customer services since dec 2010 to cancel the services and mailing the nodel officer, till date connection is not closed and these collection agents are calling day by day and asking for payment, which i am not lible for, I made the payment in jan this year after speaking with customer services, and they said that, its the final payment, I have been collecting ticket numbers since dec 2010 till date from nodel officer and customer services but the connection is still not closed.
                    My request to you is to please help me from this troma which me and my family is facing.

                      I'd asked for Airtel Broadband at the below address:

                      Aikya Apartments,
                      Off Bannerghatta Road,
                      Near Meenkashi Temple,
                      Bangalore

                      A guy came (Jagadeesh - [protected]), collected documents (CAF: 243375) and a cheque for Rs. 1099/- and promised a connection in 4 days. This was on 17 May 2011. The cheque was encashed on 20th May 2011. No news from the guy from there on. Called him many times. He gave vague responses and finally gave another guy's number and said it's his manager's (Rajiv - [protected]). This guy was not bothered at all and said he doesn't know when it will be done!!!! It's been a month now. I am tired of following up. And the two guys have stopped taking my calls. I don't want your broadband because if you are so callous about providing a connection then wonder what your service would be when you've hooked me up!!!

                      Refund my money and I'll gladly get some other service provider to install a connection.

                        I am seriously disappointed with the customer service that I have received in last few days. I am not receiving any signal since 11th June, 2011.

                        11th June- I tried calling the customer service a number of times. But, most of the times, the agents disconnected my calls. After about 7 calls, I was finally told that my complaint cannot be registered as the system was down. I am OK with that answer, but that answer needs to be given at first call not after 7 calls. I had wasted about an hour on this day to no use.

                        12th June- I again try logging a complaint in the morning. But only after a few calls, I successfully register the complaint. In the first or second call this morning, after I logged the call, I was asked to wait for complaint number. But the call was disconnected in the process. I call up again immediately, and was told there was no complaint registered. After successful complaint registration ( Complaint no. : 8971371 ), I was informed, that the engineer would visit my place before 3:30. I wait till 4:30, before calling up again. I am informed that the status is open, but it would require another 24 hours, as they would send the complaint once again. Why do you need to send the complaint once again when it has already been sent. And why 24 hours more when it has already crossed 24 hours once.

                        13th June- I am expecting the engineer to be coming by end of the day atleast. I get a lot of calls from engineer saying they will be coming by EOD. But, they never come. I again call up customer care but no response.

                        14th June- I try calling up customer care in the morning. Again the same story. I am informed that the status is open, but it would require another 24 hours, as they would send the complaint once again. Why do you need to send the complaint once again when it has already been sent. And why 24 hours more when it has already crossed 72 hours.


                        I request you to check my call logs for these days and try to understand the events.
                        1) My calls were abruptly disconnected so many time.
                        2) Whenever I asked to register a complaint, I was asked to hold for long time without any response
                        3) On 11th June, a certain Mr. Rajkumar asked me to perform some troubleshooting steps, which completely screwed my STB
                        4) On 14th June, morning, I was told that this connection does not belong to you (Jitendra Doshi) although all other details were matching. Do check this call.

                        I am fed up of this kind of service. I expect good quality of service especially from Airtel as I believe it is a good company. I have dealed with a lot of service providers in my life. I am sorry to say this, but the quality of service I have received from you is lower than even some of the government organizations.

                        If you check my account for last few months, I have repeatedly paid service charge of Rs. 100/- almost monthly. It has become like a hidden charge of 100 Rs. per month.

                        I have faced a large amount of ordeal, more so in last few days. I think I cant tolerate any more. In these days, not only I have lost 4 days of my service that I pay for, but also hours of my time calling the customer care. I don’t think it can be compensated.


                        Hence, I would like to discontinue the services and request you to refund the remaining balance as I am not doing this by choice. It is because, I am left with no choice.

                        I would appreciate a prompt reply.

                          I tried getting in touch with one of your representatives but couldn't get through.

                          Kindly remove any such extra services from my number and credit the amount to my account as soon as possible.

                            I took 3G Airtel Data card bearing the no. [protected] from Airtel outlet at G.S. Road in Guwahati. For the last four months or so, I have been paying an amount ranging from Rs 980 to Rs 1050 per month.

                            The service was very poor. I realised that the company had been charging me for the 3G service which was not available in Guwahati at that point of time. I went to the Airtel Outlet in G.S. Road again on 14 April 2011 to discontinue the service as I felt cheated and I was amazed that the company would resort to this kind of mis-selling. However, I was told that I would not be allowed to discontinue before the completion of 6 months. Another arm twisting tactic which I felt was grossly unfair. The executive there admitted that 3G facility had not been extended to Assam. She requested me to change the plan. As I believed in giving a second chance to people, I filled up the form for the change of plan.

                            Unfortunately, when I received the bill, Airtel had again charged me for 3G facility. Enough is enough. I got the data card disconnected. I will not pay this bill.
                            I paid the earlier bills under protest. I want Airtel to quickly rederess this complaint.

                            I feel : (a) Customers should be given the service for which they have paid.
                            (b) Airtel should not take advantage of the customers by taking them for a
                            ride.
                            (c) Airtel should apologise for the mis-selling

                              I was not getting TV reception from 20th April 2011. After repeated complaints, (complaint nos7312982, 7344089), a technician called Sanjay from Dharmasagar Enterprises( supervisor Baburao, [protected]) determined that TV Set top Box was not working and that it would be relaced. It was not replaced for 3 more than days ( earlier in January 2011, I had the same problem. it took 7 days to replace set top box and I did not have TV reception during those 7 days). So I asked for disconnection and refund of my subscription that I paid for 1 year in February 2011. Airtel calculated the balance and said an amount of Rs.3210.31 was due for me.
                              By complaint no 7377784 they intimated me that the complaint is resolved and money will be refunded. It was not refunded. On 11th May by another complaint no 7841388 they said again the complaint is resolved and money will be refunded in a week. It was not paid. on 27th may2011 I wrote to [protected]@airtel.in that they should pay me 3% per month interest as they are holding on to my money. They have not replied me so far.
                              On 28th may I contacted their local customer care cell phone number[protected] and requested for satish kumar their manage. Insted a gentle man called Salauddin, came on line, talked to their accounts department and said that money will be refunded by end of may 2011 by a cheque. to day is 14th June I have so far not received my refund.

                              I was trying to disconnect my Airtel DTH connection after a series of disappointments with their service and the way they are handling customer requests more worse than a local vendor. Not sure why Airtel is not focusing on the maintenance of its DTH service. If they cannot maintain, why not shut it off.

                              Now the great thing I have learned is that they will not refund money for the STB and antenna, i[censored]ser requests for a disconnection. While giving the connection they told that my money will be refunded for STB and antenna.

                              So, not just a bad service, but they have also grown to cheat people.

                              My customer I'd no[protected].STB not working.Service person attended at my request and without touching stb said it to be replaced and collected rs150 saying he would comeback in a moment and replace the stb.It is five days.Iam calling him and office many times daily.Every time he says that he would come and replace the stb.I requested that the stb cost would be borne by me.My problem is not solved.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                I have tried my best to find a solution to my problem through Airtel GPRS Helpline but it is of no use, they always say that everything is okay from their side. My problem is that whenever i leave my state i.e WB my GPRS stops working and a message saying "Packet data connection not available" pops up whenever i try to connect to internet through Airtel GPRS (i.e Mobile Office). I am using Samsung Galaxy Fit (S5670) as my handset. Its OS is Android Froyo, connection to data while roaming is activated in my handset menu. I have also tried it with nokia E5-00 handset but the problem persisted. My mobile number is [protected].
                                Please find me a proper solution as early as possible.

                                  i got the worst service from the bharti airtel

                                  mobile no:[protected], i am not got the expected service from you.
                                  i have made compaint on the month of Noveber-2009 about my service
                                  issue such as call drop, call failure, network problem their is no
                                  action is taken till date i used the number.

                                  1: i made the complaint on Novermber 2009- service issues( call drop,
                                  call failure, network problem).- no action taken.

                                  2: i enquired in month of the december-2009, their no action is taken
                                  on this issue. again i made the request to correct the issue.

                                  3: Feb/march once again enquired about the issue no action taken.


                                  * beceuse this issue, i lost couple of my business deals which is
                                  worth of 2-3 lacs rupees.
                                  i am in station, but i am not reacheable to my mobile because of this issues.


                                  * i wanted you to notice another thing here is that i am making
                                  payment of 80-90% mobile bill. assuming that aleast u will get noticed
                                  and rectified my issues.

                                  but no progress happened only i am getting the payment reminder.


                                  * u can think how much i lossed business because i changed my mobile no,
                                  but their is no another option.

                                  * sad part is your not rectifying the service issue only asking for the payment
                                  if this things continues i will look into other services, which i
                                  am taking from the Bharthi-Airtel.

                                  On 16th Dec 12, I called on this no. *****23104 around 10:30pm for 8.52mins, where I got charged 1Rs/min i.e. 9Rs as per 8.52mins,
                                  But till 16th Dec 12 my calling charges were 1paisa/sec.Since 16th Dec I don’t know why I have been charged 1Rs./min. and don’t know why airtel has provided customer care number 121 and 198 where customers are unable to reach customer care help desk whenever I call to Help desk, system (auto system) disconnects my call, I have already complained about help desk service now I am very frustrated with this services.

                                    I had paid forAirtel Digital HD TV with recorder online on 06.06.2011 & as per the website installation was promised within 72 hours.

                                    As I did not get any feedback I called their customer helpline number , where I was told to send a mail as they could not help me ( find attached the mail sent on 10.06.2011), I recieved a call from airtel side on 11.06.2011, where I was promised that the installation will take place in next 72 hours.

                                    Again there was no intimation on time/date of installation till today i.e. 13.06.2011, so I called the customer care , where these people told me to contact there SDE on 020 - [protected].

                                    On asking for my refund back ( I would not have anything to do with such a company as if thats how they treat new customers , you can understand the plight of a regular subscriber) , I was told by Rashmi , Escalation Superwiser that they would need my transaction details, where I provided them the details from Credit Card account , but they still need transaction number.

                                    I would appreciate if I can get my refund back.

                                      It has been a hell out of experience with Airtel Customer Service this time. I was promised to be given a WIN CUG 149 Plan activated by 1st June on my 4 Airtel mobile numbers however the promise was not kept for my Airtel number [protected]. I would have requested them to resolve this issue by sending atleast 20 e-mails and double the number of calls. However, there has been no resolution given.

                                      Hope, through this I may be able to reach the higher authorities and get what I wanted.

                                        my cust id :: [protected] this is to state that the so called service provided by airtel is amatuer and needs revamping immediately! Crappy service was what i have always got...when i called cust care to solve my installation problem and they gave me a local number of a renowned shop in my town who did not receive my calls when in fact i called up the man two days in a row, probably at least about 20 times but to no avail. I was left with no other choice but to call in another mechanic who finally fixed my dish tv.
                                        Towards the end of every 30 days when my top-up for the month is almost over, airtel cust care calls me up repeatedly unnecessarily and asks me stupid questions like..."why arent u recharging ur dish tv? is it because you have no money?'...i was absolutely stunned and irritated with such idiotic conversation that i hung up the call... who is airtel cust care to question my decision to recharge my dish tv or not...dont i have my own free will to decide as to when i want to do so? arent we living in a democracy here? i got Dish Tv connection at home and we got no problems of any sort with it whatsoever, if my recent problem of SM2 doesnt get solved soon then dat will be the end of airtel dish tv service as far as im concerned! I just recharged it with Rs. 400 two days back and suddenly SM2 problem is flashing on my tv screen... money doesnt grow on trees for anyone we work real hard for it... now its like i've flushed the money down the drain cos i have no hope whatsoever of getting the problem resolved...cos the last time i called cust care they were askin me yet some more stupid questions like wats my name and blah blah blah when i was in fact on an STD call as i dont have airtel phone connection, finally i was so frustrated that i ended the call without getting any resolution! people please beware of airtel dish tv i hope y'all dont make the mistake of buying one like me!
