I AM NOT GETTING ANY RESPONSE FROM AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE FOR THE LAST THREE DAYS I AM CALLING CUSTOMER CARE REGARDING THE ERROR COE B001, THEY ONLY FOOL ME SAYING THAT THEIR SYSTEM IS HAVING PROBLEM. EVERY TIME I CALL THEY ONLY SAY THIS EXCEPT YESTERDAY WHEN I CALL AROUND 12 NOON, THEY NOTED MY COMPLAINT AND SENT ME REQUEST NUMBER AND SAID THAT THEIR ENGINEER WILL VISIT AT 6:50 PM AND WILL CALL HALF AN HOUR BEFORE TILL 8:38 AM ON 3rd JUNE 2011 I.E TODAY EVEN NOT A CALL CAME. WHEN I THEN CALL CUSTOMER CARE THE TOLD THAT YOUR DATE IS 6th OF JUNE 2011.

BEFORE THEY TOLD ME THAT AND NOW THIS
WHAT SHOULD I DO.
AIRTEL IS ONE OF THE FAMOUS AND REPECTABLE COMPANIES BUT THEY ALSO DO LIKE THIS TOWARDS THEIR CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS.

    My airtel no. +91 [protected] was automatically Charged (twice in a day) for some "Mitti Ke Rang" service without my confirmation. I've been charged twice -- Rs.20/20days and Rs.10/10days on 01-Jun-2011 for the same service, my balance amt. was in -ve and I WAS UNABLE TO MAKE AN IMPORTANT CALL.

    It always happens like this:
    - I get a call from the airtel
    - I hear a song or something, and I end the call as quickly as I can
    - At the end of the day, I've been charged for some useless VAS service I didn't ask for
    - My balance gets in negative amount
    - I'm unable to deactivate the service

    The above incidence has happen to me more than 30 times and I've lost MORE THAN 1000 RUPEES. And it's intolerable now.
    I want from Airtel to DEACTIVATE ALL VAS SERVICES & WAIVE ATLEAST RS.30 TO MY NUMBER and stop fooling its customers by such childish policies.

      I am using airtel broadband connection (Number:[protected]. My line was dead from 27th of mar’11 to 18th may 2011 due to some fault in cable. I registered a lot of complaints to 121 by call and by, when airtel replaced my cable i request them to waive off the amount during non working period (27-mar ~18 may 2011), but airtel disconnect the line on 19 may stating that i have to pay all the amount. Because they do not have any complaint registered on 27 mar-2011. On 27th mar i complaint for not accessing airtel website not for broadband issue.
      I want to know if i have not registred any complaint on may 27 then how airtel replaced my modem on 29 may 2011. But problem still persist.
      When i complaints to airtel for not working of broadband by mail they replied me as below “

      Airtel website www.airtel.in for your airtel mobile number [protected].

      The number given in this reply was not mine, when i called to this number i found this number belongs to one of the airtel broadband employee.
      I have many times complaint to :

      I don’t have such a free time to be involved in this ridiculous matter and i am now off repeatedly contacting airtel for very small matter.
      This is very poor service and i advise to everyone who read this post, plz don’t buy any broad band connection of airtel.

      Airtel — FUCKING IPTV

      This is regardind the new service (IPTV) launched by airtel. I am facing hell lot of problems just because of this service.

      My broadband was disconnected by same day (when i posted above massage)
      and i don't get any resolution from airtel..
      My concerned is still same.. and unresolved...
      in my recent bill i checked my itemized calls
      i talked to airtel 175min last month for resolving this issue.
      but issue not resolved yet..

        Hello ,

        I bought a sim from ghaziabad on 21st june. Sim is of Airtel.
        2-3 days later i got a missed call from +92 series , as i was not on my seat so i thought to call it back...but no reply , instead a song started playing....I think lots of subscribers are being pranked so please take the matter seriously....Do something.

          hi,

          i m the mr kartikeydesai from surat

          my business is xerox & mobile recharge.
          yesterday someone call me and say that i m from airtel company and plz. follow up what i aske u.
          i follow this person instruction.
          after some minute i check my airtel lapu balance i lost my rs. 555/- balance.
          he used trick and i lost my mobile lapu balance.
          in surat i m not only one person that this person chited me.
          but some other also airtel retailor also going this way and lost airtel lapu balance.
          in surat only airtel company retailor are lost them lapu balance.

          i apply to rander police statation but he can not support me in following matter.
          airtel distributor and company not support me in this matter.

          please reply me positive answer.

            I have Airtel landline & broadband connection #[protected].
            Its landline number was not working for many days and I contacted its customer service at 121 and as well at email Id [protected]@airtelin. They acknowledged the mail evrey time and assured to get it disconnected in maximumof 7 workings dasy. When this was not done, I again wrote to them on 1st June and they replied that with 24 hours the problem will be solve. To get to some person to talk to us is matter o[censored]phill task. Computersied voice will go on asking options and then put the call on hold and start the hold music for several minutes and even after that the persons they don't try to resolve the problem
            But to my dismay none of airtel have contacted me or visited me to take back the eqpts for its disconnection.
            Now I am taking help of this consumer forum to let the persons know that airtel customer service give s a very response to its customers. They don't follow it up. Without providing the service they go on sending the bills .

              My customer id is [protected], on 28th may 2011 I tried to change my economy pack to ala carte pack from your website www.airtel.in/digitaltv and I received an auto email that we will contact you shortly but nothing happened then on 31st may 2011 again I tried to change it and again I got the same email. Finally I called up your customer care on 1st june 2011 about this problem then someone told me that it will not get change with above mentioned website they told me a new website to change the package i.e. www.airtel.in/topups/topups.html since morning I am trying to open this website but all the time it gave me erroe page cannot be displayed...4 times I have contced customer care but nobody gave me answer, they were aying its opening up here on that also I said I am telling you channels you plz do it for me will give ypou all the info but no call was a getting disconnected again n againand the last person whome i spoke was a really rude person his name was prashant and I was not expecting such a rude behaviour from airtel..I think you guys are making money but loosing out customers trust.
              I just want my problems solution bcoz i am getting frusteted from all this since last 4 days I just rying to change the package and its not happening such a waste of time with airtel dth. I regrat I opted for airtel dth.

              My customer Id is [protected] in Airtel DTH. I am subscribed to Economy Sports Standard package, Rs. 254.69 pm. As per the package Star, ESPN was included in the said package. but it was discontinued from 1st December ,2012. When I asked to customer care by email they said that the package has been updated and i will have to subscribe star, ESPN top up separately @ Rs. 25/month. They changed this package without any consent or prior notification.

                Hi,

                This is Kamal Sharma, my customer ID is [protected]. I have raised a service request with Airtel Customer Care ([protected]) on May 30, 2011 around 05:00 PM for de-installation (removing) of my DTH. I have requested to get it done sometime on May 31, 2011, but I have been informed that slots are not available during the requested time, so customer care executive booked a slot for the same on June 1, 2011 and I have been told that it should happen before June 01, 2011 11:00 AM. I have raised my concern that as I am moving out so please make sure that this should happen within this time frame, then I have been assured that it should happen.

                On June 01, 2011, I have waited for the engineer till 12:00 PM and then I moved out from the appartment with the wire and set top box. No one has turned up this morning and surprising thing is that I got a message saying "Dear Customer, your service request reference no. is 8529045 for relocation request has been resolved. If the issue is unresolved please call [protected]. From AD-DTH".

                I called up Airtel Customer Care ([protected]) today (June 02, 2011 08:40 AM) asking for the status then I have been informed that I will happen today before 04:00 PM but no one has turned up till 12:00 PM, I called up the number ([protected]) given in the SMS then I have been advised to call on [protected], I have called on [protected] and asked him about the request, so the person told me he is the area manager for Pin Code 500048 and he assured me that Engineer will call me to get it done today.

                So as per the process of relocation, engineer will remove the dish and handover that to the customer, but in my case I have already moved out from that place and Airtel Engineer has missed the timeline to resolve this request.

                Why should I go back to collect the dish from engineer when engineer missed the appointment which was June 01, 2011 before 11 AM. It's not my fault, Airtel should bear it now, I need re installation of Airtel DTH at my new address.

                The worst thing: I have spoken to Customer Care Executive asking that de install it from there and ask your engineer to carry dish to my new address and install it, she is constantly saying 'sorry for the inconvenience caused' but as per the process you would have to carry the dish now I ask her to connect me to her manager and repeated the same thing, I asked her for a workaround like de install that dish from there and keep that in that service area and provide me a new/ used dish in my service area but she is not ready and was telling me the same process, I asked her to connect me to her manager then after a good waiting time of 10 - 15 min I was able to talk to Priya and she was repeating the same thing "Sir as per the process you would have to collect that dish from there".

                All these guys are telling me the process but one of the process which is follow the timeline given to the customer they are not ensuring.

                What kind of service is it ??

                I am made to believe that I have done a big mistake by trusting Airtel over various other DTH service providers. Now I want my re-installation to be done very urgently.

                Also I would like some one very responsible to call me from AIRTEL AND NOT FROM AGENCY CALL CENTRE who is sensitive about the customer's problem & "can get the things done". Its already been 24 hours and no future action has been taken to my satisfaction, I am thinking of to initiate a legal action in this regards.

                  I paid Rs 4800 by cash via Vriti infocomm services for airtel dth ( HD Recorder TV) on 27/05/2011 and I was told that an engineer would call me and the installation would be done by evening or latest by 10 am the next day that is 28th......on 28th afternoon after wasting my whole day i realised that nothing is happening....i tried calling customer care which did not generate any request no for complaint and told me that system is in updation....i called again agter an hour....system in updation .....6 pm evening system in updation.......i got sms that my customer id is [protected], but no one called for installation....today is 30th (4:00 pm) still there is no response from airtel customer care or the engineers.....i am calling customer care since morning and they are telling me since morning to 4:00 pm that system is under updation.....when the hell is my dth going to be installed.......and i hope you will bill me after the date of installation........is it going to take a week?????
                  Today is 2nd June and i was told by the engineer that he was not informed and that he has got an HD box instead of the HD recorder box and he was supposed to come early morning today........no response....his mobile is switched off. No help from airtel helpline.....what do i do?
                  I had similar experience with Airtel DTH service.

                  I had bought a Sony LED TV 3 weeks back, and was offered a free Airtel Digital TV set-top box. Didn't realize the price of the free box at that time!

                  After getting the TV installed, I was asked to pay Rs.1000 as the initial recharge which I did. After this I called their Bangalore customer care number[protected] around the 23rd and was told that the technician would come over within 2 days around 5 p.m. After waiting for 2 days, I called up on the 26th I called them up asking why the technician didn't call me.
                  The executive told me that an order number would have to be generated first. After the lady generated the order number, I asked them to book a slot on 30th May around 5 p.m. Also told them not to come on the weekend since I would be out-of-station.

                  On Saturday and Sunday, I got repeated calls from the engineers saying they wanted to install the set top box and where was my address (no confirmation whether I was at home etc)? I told them that I was not at home and asked them to come on Monday on the appointed slot.

                  On Monday, 30th May, the engineers didn't call me. When I called up Airtel office on Tuesday, May 31, and complained, they escalated the call to their manager, Sagar R. He said that the appointment has been fixed for Wednesday BEFORE 6 p.m. He also added that if the engineer doesn't call me, I can call him up directly.

                  On Wednesday, June 1, I waited until 4.30 p.m. and then called up the customer care, asking to be connected to Sagar R. After 10 minutes of music, I was told he IS NOT AT HIS DESK, and he will call me back in 10 minutes. Until 5.30 there was no call.

                  On Thursday, June 2, I called again and demanded my money back. This time, I was connected through to another person named Naveen. He promised that I would get a call within 2 hours. I did get a call within 30 minutes (around 12.45 saying that an engineer would come and install today). However around 4 p.m, I get another call : first the person asks if the installation has taken place (as if he doesn't know). Second, he says the installation will happen TOMORROW and just puts down the phone. All calls to this number and the engineer's number (had taken it down during the 12.45 call) are either ignored or disconnected.

                  Around 4.30 p.m, when I ring up the call centre and ask for my money back. They call me back and inform me that the installation would happen WITHIN 2 DAYS.

                  Today, Friday June 3, I call up and ask for my refund. I cut short their 'sorry for the inconvenience caused (inconvenience? this is harassment!) and ask them to refund my money. They give a standard 'your request has been forwarded to the concerned department and we will get back to you soon' reply.

                  All in all, a few points about this company:
                  1. There is NO co-ordination between their call centre and installation teams.
                  2. The installation team is a law unto itself, and will call you at THEIR convenience, not yours. If you need to call them, they will either disconnect your call without answering, or not pick up your phone at all.
                  3. The company thinks they are doing the customers a favour by giving them a free set top box. However, the customer should realise the amount of pain they have to undergo to get the connection sorted out.
                  i just want to have an airtel dth connection i ordered on 20pril 2011, they told me the installation would be in 24 hrs but they did on 22april at that day i was going abroard the connection was for my family.i am contacting to the office but there is a poor response from there side my account no is[protected].so i humbly request the management to do as soon as possible.my contact no is [protected] OR [protected]

                    1. I am writing this complaint in connection with airtel TV services which is activated on cell phone without my approval. I have contacted airtel cuctomer care but they are not able disconnect the facility. I am staying in a place where there no 3G facility of airtel. They are charging Rs 40 per week.
                    2. May request you to help me in deactivating this service from my mobile phone and refund the money. Plaese take some stirct action against airtel company for fooling around with the customers and making money.

                      I want to immediately recharge/top up my account online and continue my packages to my account as well.
                      For that purpose i registered on Airtel DTH Customer Portal.but that URL (https://auth.airtellive.com/central-authn?bharti-net&https://ebpp.airtelwor... is not opening, i spend so much of time for recharge my account through online.
                      buffering is going on continuously, but web site in not open.
                      What is the reason that, why this happens again and again.Why your web site does not work properly and slowly, Please clarify. please give any other web link which is working properly.

                        my airtel landline connection is disconnected from a long period of time and no action was taken by the company inspite of constant complains..!

                          i got this connection near 1 months ago...i chose to activate mobile office...i've been trying to activate it since the past three days but it is not gettng activated....its been three days m calling customer servive and everytime i call them they say ur call is landing the department that is for new cusomers and m not calling 121...i do not understand when i call 121 y it say that "thankyou for calling 121"...and also m not able to set my telephone password ...THIS IS SO PATHEIC.......after calling for so many days and after spending so much time on my phone i got a manager who really followed up with me BUT AGAIN OF NO USE ..because he could not get anything activated and also he told he will get IVR changed for me but nothing changed..its been 1 month now m having this issue ....i always used to recommend everybody to buy airtel connection just because of good customer service but i am so much tired with them that i dont think so i would ever buy an airtell again..

                          I purchased an Airtel Data Card last year in October with SNR: ML36C5083 and IMEI: [protected], bearing the number [protected] for rupees 6099/-. I opted 599 plan as per the plan posted on www.airtel.co.in/datacard. Since then every month I am getting a bill in excess of 700 irrespective of my low internet usage. I was dealing with supervisors in Airtel regarding the incorrect/excessive billing, in April this year as suggested by one of the supervisors I have changed the plan from 599 to 999 which is supposed to be an unlimited plan. Unfortunately the plan change was never updated and I continued to get the excessive amount of bill irrespective of my less utilization of internet service. One fine day Airtel has send me a bill of about 6000 rupees and discontinued my internet services, I personally met the so called supervisor Mr. Gyaneshwar from Airtel in their office located in the Whitehouse building, begumpet to discuss about the same, after multiple reminders this gentleman send a request to wavier the excessive amount they have billed so far.
                          After all this drama, my number still remains to be barred. I have now decided to discontinue this pathetic service of Airtels and opt for a better service provider. I sincerely request all not to opt for Airtel data card especially as their plan is not transparent and moreover it gives lots of mental pressure. Airtel customer service is the worst as their agents doesn’t know what they speak and to my surprise they don’t know what a DATA CARD is. I have undergone the pain and mental trauma, I request other’s not to.

                          I am Gagandeep Puri and my Karnataka Airtel Prepaid Number is [protected].

                          I have a number of complaints against Airtel:

                          1. Customer care is horrible. Lack of information, improper communication and call disconnection after ever 2-3 mins is what I get when I try calling 121. Every time I try calling CC, I have to wait for all the announcements to complete before I can press 9 to talk to an executive. This itself takes about 1 minute. During the call, after you have explained the problem to the executive, the call gets disconnected!!! I wonder if the customer care executive himself disconnects the call!!! Not once or twice this happens almost every time I call Customer Care.

                          2. I recharged with a 249 recharge voucher and was told that 3 months hello tune would be free (no monthly rental). As told by customer care, hello tune would be activated within 24 hrs...
                          Even after 5 days the service was not activated. After innumerable calls, Customer care told to active the service by sending an SMS. After sending an SMS, 45Rs were deducted from my balance (30 for monthly + 15 for song selection). On calling customer care, a complaint number was given which is still not resolved even today after 2 months.
                          The only answer I get is monthly rental was charged because I activated the service by sending an SMS. But this was exactly what I was told by customer care to do!!

                          3. I requested for Mobile office to be activated on my cell, after sending the SMS, balance was deducted but the service was not activated. The customer care is useless as mentioned in point 1.

                          4. I tried recharging with the mcheck (Mobile recharging). It was successful for the first 2 recharges on different dates. When I tried to recharge for the 3rd time, my credit card was charged but balance was not credited to my account. On calling customer care, he told me that recharging/payment thru credit card is not available on prepaid!!! Then how did it recharge for the first two times? Any how the hell was it registered at the first place?

                          5. I was informed by customer care that Airtel live and Airtel Online cannot be used with HTC mobiles. But I have been using Airtel live n my HTC for 1 year now!! (Both in Andhra and Karnataka)

                          I am airtel customer since last 4 years, I am from Bangalore, I am suffering call drop from airtel, network is very worst and poor, suddenly the call failed and most of STD and IST call are drop at after completion of 60 pulse, I am not shore airtel blocking the network or dropping the call or Pulse jump from airtel. I sent many complaints to your customer care centers, But this problem did not solve, i sent many e mails also, even I ask them I will making payment for actual usage they said they don’t have option for reversal of call charges.
                          Always airtel customer care officer confirm there is no problem from their network alright, my question is if I call up to other network I to agree due to technical problem call can drop, but I calling up to same service provider who using airtel at Chennai .

                          I applied for conversion from postpaid to prepaid for [protected] on 7/7/2008. On 8/7, the postpaid was disconnected. Today is 12/7 and the prepaid is not activated yet. Three trips have been made to Silverline at MG Toad Adyar after waiting for an hour each time with a token. They say "within two hours" every time. When I call[protected] their helpline, the phone is picked up and kept aside. I have not seen this kind of ineptitude, incompetence and pathetic standards of service in any industry anywhere.
                          I would suggest every one not to take Airtel connection.

                          There is lot of difference between their advertisement and actual service.

                          My connection has been blocked despite payment of bill for Sept, 09 Rs.1690/- vide Chequ No.03993 dated 27.10.2009 cleared from my account with BOI, Panchsheel Branch. Your officials Sh. Bharat and Ms.Anadha kept on harping for non updation of payment account. The payment was made immediately on reciept of telecon on 25/26 oct as no bill had been recieved for the month. Same is the fate of bill for the month of oct.09 which is showing the previus bill amount paid of Rs.1690/- Strangely your cutomer care officials are insistent the the connection shall have to wait till the next due date for payment of the bill yet to be recieved by me. The due date as per your system voice masseges is 12.11.2009 and the total amount is about Rs.2900/- which includes Rs.1690/- already recieved by you.Hence ist it prudent on the part of your officials to blosck the connection and insist to wait till I pay for the current month bill yet to be due on 12.11.2009 ! Further why your officials should not locate the payment for Sept., 09 already made as per details made available to them ! Is it proper for an organisation like that of yours to have such officials in customer care who are non supportive sor reasonable and logical expectattion of your customer base rather than behave like an immune entity. I have been associated with Air Tel for over 7 years and all my family/friends have your mobile/intedrnet connections. It is really hurting that connection should continue to be blocked despite payment inspite of non reciept of bill. This has happenned on three occaisions in the past also when you customer care officials were advised to take whatever corrective steps were to be taken. But is it seem that there again it is the same immune approach. You are requested to look in to the matter and exercise proper check on your customer care and courrier service to make them supportive to customers' reasonable expecttations.

                          I have got run around with Airtel for a long time. I have registered a complaint plenty times and never got a resolution for my problem. Here is what happened in 3rd week of November 2008; i called to check if there is any deduction if i go to Mumbai. Answer from your representatives No! I was in Mumbai and there was a deduction of Rs. 1.50 thrice or four times a day, i was there for one week. Now the problem is I lost about a sum of Rs. 50 to 52 and I called may 50 to 60 times. Please know that each time I called your representatives were trying to either stop me in between and would put me on hold for a long time without informing me which is very very pathetic customer service which I think. I am a college student and i cannot bear this amount when i went to see my aunt who was very ill. The matter of fact at that time I was billed a Rs. 15 for some sort of nonsense sms subscription service which i never did and was refunded back when I called your customer service. I was been promised that i will receive the Rs. 50 or what was the total deduction which I still haven't got. I called on 20 March, 2010 for service issue and one of your Representatives in Mumbai office named Amit was on the call and for talking to 15 minutes he again cut the line. Horrible customer service. I have a reference number for bad network i encounter which I have registered a complaint in regards. The reference number is [protected]. I urged to get a confirmation call but have,nt got one very bad again. I know reading such a long mail is pain in the but but not getting a appropriate response would be a negative impression of your company it,s not a huge ask from but for the time wasting in this case is unacceptable.                           I have taken a new airtel prepaid sim card. I was a new series starting with 789xxxxxxx.

                          Since day one, i have had n number of problems with this network provider. I am into manager role of a MNC and hence receive international official calls. But due to this network provider i have missed my important meeting calls and hence had lot of issues. I have raised N number of complaints, but that does not do any good.
                          I cant ever recharge this fir for nothing number online, when enquired abt the same with the customer care executive, they tell me that this series is new and so it cant be recharged online, they have been telling me the same crap for last three months.

                          IF AIRTEL can not manage there services, they better pack there bags and go do something else.

                          So for everyone who thinks Airtel is good at providing service , please tale my word and never go for airtel again.

                          I bought Airtel SIM Card (phone number: [protected]) in Lucknow on 2nd July 2010. Around 24th or 25th Aug the services of my number were abruptly stopped. I called the customer care and I was told that my number has been blocked because of address verification reasons, even when I had submitted all the relevant documents at the time of purchase of sim card. I stay in IIM Lucknow which is in Prabandh Nagar and surprizingly the address against my number was of some person in Hamirpur which is astonishing!
                          The customer care was highly uncooperative. I was asked to visit the nearest Airtel Relationship Center. I went to the address given by the customer care only to find that the address given to me was incorrect. It was a very frustrating experience. After relentless effort and a lot of complaints the Territory Sales Manager, Mr. Vivel Grover gave me a new sim card on 18/09/2010 with the same number. Such is the level o[censored]ncooperation that I had to travel to TSM's home to collect the sim card. Airtel didn't take up the responsibility to deliver it to me. However, the misery doesn't end here. In my first sim card there was a balance of approx. Rs. 300 which, I was told by the Territory Sales Manager, will be transferred to the new sim card, which has not been done. I recharged my number with Rs. 50 only to find that the services of my number has not been activated. It has been an extremely frustrating experience with Airtel. This problem has caused me a lot of loss in business. I am still not sure whether my number will start working again.

                          My advice to everyone: If you are in Lucknow, be cautious if you are planning to buy an Airtel number. The customer care service is pathetic and Airtel people are uncooperative.

                          I have a airtel dth connection since june 09. The main challenge is the customer service. I don't understand how they can have such a pathetic team of customer care team. Airtel doesn't bother to resolve the complaints. their team of executives just put you on hold most of the time searching for answers. it is a very horrible experience to call the dth customer service department. There are multiple instances of the rep disconnecting the call. the only small ray of hope is the nodal office. once you write to the nodal office it usually gets resolved but there are lots of folow ups needed. to all who plans to take airtel dth connection think twice. the response worse than BSNL, when you hve a problem it takes ages to get a resolution. you may contact me at my mail id paul.[protected]@gmail.com.

                          Documentation:
                          Regarding documentation, I have submitted my documents comprising of PAN card, Driving License, Govt. of India Identity Proof, Govt of India authorized personnel (Chief Manager as well as Assistant General Manager) Attested Declaration letter and proof four times in past two years by running to their AUTHORIZED OUTLETS (service centres) and duely filled up form in my own handwriting. Despite this, for past 15 days I am being harassed by calls and messages stating
                          "The documents submitted by you while buying your Airtel mobile connection are not valid as per the latest documentation norms laid by the Govt. of India. We request you to kindly submit the fresh documents at the nearest Airtel Centre within the next THREE days".

                          Further to this, they barred my number as well till the time I didn't confirm that I will be submitting the documents.

                          Problem: If the aforementioned docs are not valid, what other docs are possible and if these docs are required once again, what happened to the docs I have already submitted?
                          Solution: Why is Airtel asking me to go to their nearest centre, they must send their executives to my place. this will serve the purpose of verification as well.

                          Unauthorized Charge Deduction:
                          Since the month of July/August, I started receiving friendship messages and stotra messages & calls. When I realized about the charges being deducted from my account, I requested for the refund and to stop the service. The service was stopped, but till date I have received no refund.

                          Problem: If I have never requested for any such service, who authorized Airtel to provide me this facility? I am quite sure, I never press 1 or 2, etc for such kind of offers, rather I use to disconnect such calls in the beginning itself.

                          Service:
                          To this what may I say..........I am speechless!!!!!!!!!!!! I made more than 60 calls to Airtel customer care (121) but Alas!! I just lost the money and nothing happened. The CCE can't resolve my issues and every time I request them to connect to their supervisor, I just wait and learn the music. In all I have wasted more than 6 hours trying to reach a supervisor and am still trying. The date is 21st October, 2010 and 22nd October, 2010.

                          Customer Care:
                          My God!! Horrible collection of Customer Care Executives...........No Sense, No Intelligence, No Manners, No Thoughts, Rude, Adamant..........and a long list.                           This is Aman from Chennai and i am Airtel Prepaid subscriber. On 14/jan/2010 6pm i had issue with Airtel recharge that day, so i called Airtel customer care 198 and 121. I said to that the recharge was not credited on my account and requested for the information. But they did not provided the information they disconnected the call. I contacted another time and reached on agent. I informed him that the recharge was not updated on my balance. Hence requested the agent to check. The agent said that i have contacted previously to disconnect the hello tune service. I said to the agent that i did not called to disconnect the hello tune previously, just called to get the information about the balance. But he said that previous technician have documented that i have requested to disconnect the hello tune service. I said the hello tune song is my favourate song and i never wanted to miss the song. But he said its deactivated and no longer be available. I asked for transfer the call to manager he placed me on hold for 12 minutes and disconnected the call. I tried 3 times but all the Agents are disconnecting the call and are canceling the outgoing call from my number to Airtel Customer care 198/121. Never seen service like this before awefull and are no more usefull. They charged me for the service and giving nothing. Before i make any decision ahead i want my song back to number or else i need [protected] Rupees as compensation.
                          I am fed up from the so called customer care srevice given by Bharti Airtel, I have 3 airtel nos. even then i cannot get to the customer care executives, as the people over there have blocked all 3 nos.
                          I simply don't get why company forms such customer care units if they wan't to care for their customers.

                          This is regarding landline and brad band connection.

                          Last year in the month of sep 10, I called up customer care to disconnect my connection as i was going away for 2 months. one of their executive advised me that instead you can keep your connection in safe custody by paying some charges and resume it back once your back. I agreed and it worked fine. but I didn’t know this gonna turn into nightmare for me in few months

                          Suddenly in Feb'11 I realized my broadband is not working. on enquiry I came to know that airtel has disconnected my connection based on my Sept'10 request. Firstly how come they acted on such old request. Anyhow they gave me new connection as it was there mistake. In the mean time I called many times to customer care to get my previous connection closed so that bill shouldn't mount up. I received more than 10 calls from different people asking the confirmation to close the previous connection. I was literally fed up explaining same thing again n again to these people. But now I realized it was all in vain as now I have received the bill for the month of march'11.

                          I need to know these corporate companies actually try and understand the state of customers. They have kept such untrained staff who just know to call and do nothing. it has been more than 2 months and I am really fed up with these guys. I would request proper action from your side.

                          I was using Reliance BIG TV for past 2 yrs & i was not satisfied with a service so i changed to AIRTEL , now i realise Big Tv service provider where much much better than this use of nothing AIRTEL ,, i just control myself busting out my anger bcos from past 45 days am facing a problem & still thr is no responce from their side .. i would have called atleast 5 times to customer care requesting for d activation of new HD channels , n d response will be from the CSR the engr ill be in my place within 72 hrs , but still i didnt even got a call regarding tat , n last time i specifically complained to the supervisor directly last weak still d same status , n i dont believe thgis email would also do some improvement , just wanted to rate ur service is pathetic
                          Since past 4 days there is no signal for airtel dth. I have already complained thrice (7154170, 718339, 7216401). Everytime I call customer care, they raise a complain and cut the phone. No technician has visited till now. .The customer care doesn't have any answer to this problem apart from raising a new complain. The local mobile number ([protected]) provided by the customer care is of no use. Nobody picks the cell even once.

                          I advise everybody not to buy airtel dth. I myself am going to dump this box and will check for some other alternative.

                          Why the connection was deactivated without my information ?

                          I got it working after many follow ups, escalations. telephone calls and
                          emails - then how will I submit a request for deactivation ? Who did the
                          deactivation ?

                          Why are you irritating the customer like this ?

                          I have been using Airtel DTH since last 1.5 yrs. But since last 6-7 of months I am facing lot of issues with it.

                          -set top box has a problem: One fine day all of a sudden the set top box stopped working and the Airtel customer care ( 'So Called') told me that I have to shell out Rs 500 to get that set top box repaired (which was very strange). And the guaranty of the box will be 3 months. And soon after I completed 4 months with that set top box , it again started giving problem and again I was asked to pay for the repairs.

                          Second with the service: Satellite position has been changed and for which they have hired some 'agents' (seems they are not even 10th or 12th class pass outs). They have no manners and basic etiquette's in dealing with customers. They behave in such a manner as if they are doing some kind of charity or Favor to the customer.
                          And the customer care people have only one thing to say " We will take your complaint and act on that and please forgive us for all the problems you have faced".
                          Its been 3 continuous days I have been calling to these people and they keep on repeating the same thing.
                          There is no senior manager or Team Lead available at call center pune.

                          Still there is no resolution from Airtel side. Its been more than 5 days since my connection is not working. After getting frustrated I asked airtel customer care to disconnect my service.Next day I got a call from back end team and they requested me to not to disconnect my service and they will resolve my problem. Its been 2 days since the backend team had agreed to resolve the issue. And till not a single agent has visited my house...STRANGE!!! how this compant works !!!
                          Airtel is a company known for good service...But their service is pathetic. We receive their bills 10 days after due date of payment and we start receiving calls/messages/emails for non payment of bills..And when we come to know of this every month we go to deposit the bill for the amount stated in the message...But afterwards we come to know that they have added penalty/interest for late payment. And this happens every month. Secondly we registered a request to get an extension of phone and were told that it will be done by 13th April but still no one has turned up..Thirdly we had two connections from which we asked to disconnect one seeing their miserable service and it was disconnected but we received bill with additional 15 days of phone usage even after the phone was disconnected. On calling customer care, they listened our first complaint and when we told our next complaint, they told us to wait and then hung up on us..this is really pathetic.
                          Sir, your customer care is also pathetic..Whenever i call, they are very rude...i have to waste an hour on phone..they keep me waiting always and never even try to solve the problem...I am really pissed off with your company..Regarding my details, if you cannot solve problems when i call you, i do not think it possible that you can solve problems any other way..thank you
                          I regret to inform you that I have received extremely bad service. I am your customer of Broad band and fixed line with the telephone number[protected]. I had registered the request for change of installation in the same premises on 23rd June at 7.46 PM. I was assured that your call shall be attended within 8 working hours. To my surprise no one came to attend the request for 4 days.

                          Subsequent to which I called at the your customer support number once again on 27th June at 4.47 PM. I was stunned to listen hat your request has been closed by the engineer stating shifting done, however no one had visited. I asked who was the engineer, there was no answer. So, they again registered the complaint with the same old reference number. Ref no is 17654658.

                          Again no one turned up for 2 days. So I called today at 7.33 PM, again the same fate the call was completed by your staff on papers however no one has visited my house. On top of it, the Broad band which was working has also stopped functioning. Today's complaint registration reference no. is 17942582.

                          I am wasting my time, energy and effort in making complaints, writing mails to you. This is really unfortunate that company with the sound name called Airtel....the engineers and servicing department is so low on integrity that they will falsely close the complaint. This is really very surprising.

                          I am forwarding this mail to various people in media who take care of consumers from the atrocities committed by so called multinational companies boasting themselves to be clean. I shall also file consumer complaint. I have suffered a loss due to non functioning of my internet.

                          I am also logging complaint at TCCMS portal regarding the same.
                          The service of 3g that I receive has been pathetic and adding to my woes are your customer care executives.Whenever I call I only get directed and asked to call other numbers.
                          I dont know the what is the problem with AIRTELI trusted AIRTEL a lot but to my surprise it similar to BSNL services.
                          You people are NO1 when cost is the point , but , what about the matching service???

                          It's very serious issue that's why I am writing this mail directly to you.When comes to know on 12th July morning that the Number [protected], which I am using since 1.5Yrs amount deducted INR-1900/- ****** As i was using unlimited Internet plan charged INR-198 every month. ** ** Now story start on 10 th July i received a message from Airtel that my account will charge INR-198,so need to maintain sufficient balance. As i have already recharged my number with amount INR-2000/- with extra talk time inr-2200/- on 2nd July. So i was sure that i have sufficient balance and service will continue . .**** On 11th July i Download only one MP4 song around 5 MB data. When i wake up on 12th July, i was shocked that my balance almost gone .. **** Airtel deducted around INR-1900/-, Can anyone explain why ?**** I was out of station and Due to an emergency, i need to call but i don't have balance cause of Airtel only . **** I felt my guilty there .                           Line got cut on airtel on Sep-28-2013. My parents have called local # + went to airtel office to complain the same. No one attended to resolve the issue.

                          Thats the reason I called Airtel Customer Service on Oct-01-2013 twice asking to cancel the service. They said that cancellation department will call back in 4hrs (Raghavendra) and 1hr (Nagabushan, interactionn #[protected]. No one has call me.

                          Today, again I called customer service to cancel. Finally, got the cancellation #[protected]. But, said that it will take 7 working days to cancel and I have to pay till that day. If the line got cut and I am not using the internet, then what’s the need to pay. Hence, I complained back with this reason - interaction#[protected].

                          Hence, I want the service to be disconnected ASAP and not to bill from 28-sep-2013 as internet usage is not available.

                            I have got a call from airtel for caller tune, i disconnected the call, but i got a sms just after, that inform me "you have been charged for caller tune downloading", Now i just want to know how the bloody caller tune get downloaded,when i disconnected the call. Though i am also from telecom dept., it seems that administrator hasn't configure the server properly. i have an existing caller has now changed.When i tried to inform the same to customer service, first it took long time to get the executive then he suddenly disconnected the call.i want my existing caller tune back with money. My call time is 21/12/10 17:23, i am requesting you to please refund my money asap , i will be grateful to you.

                            I have complain 5 times, but there is no response, every executive i told to gives a different answer, all liars and chors.
                            I am fed up all this chori from there side.

                              I subscribed to the above plan from Airtel last year in Gurgaon, Haryana. My phone number was[protected]. Under the plan, I get the first 3 GB data download free and then get charged 0.20 rupees for every subsequent MB.



                              I moved out of Gurgaon on the 23rd of March 2011 to Chennai, since I got a job here. I called up their customer care number 121 on the 22nd of March 2011 and spoke to Mr.Suresh and requested him to terminate my account. He informed me that there was some amount due on my account for March 2011 and that the account cannot be closed until the payment was made by me. I requested him to e-mail me a copy of the itemised bill to enable me to scrutinise it before paying. I gave him my gmail address, (which Airtel anyway had at the time of my subscription) and he promised to scan the bill soon.



                              In the meantime, I got 2 calls from their collections team on my Gurgaon mobile number[protected], requesting for payment. I again reiterated to them that I am awaiting for a copy of my bill to make
                              the payment and gave them my e-mail id again. I discontinued my Gurgaon number in Chennai since I was on roaming and took out a new mobile connection. Last week, I got calls from at least 5 different friends and relatives stating that they have been getting multiple calls from Airtel representatives (+[protected] enquiring about my whereabouts and stating that I have unpaid dues of Rs.8,300. AIRTEL HAS APPARENTLY DUG INTO MY CALL RECORDS CRIMINALLY WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND OBTAINED THEIR NUMBERS WITH GROSS DISREGARD FOR MY PRIVACY OR THE CONSEQUENCES. This is in spite of the fact that they already had my e-mail id / mobile number and I was corresponding with them for details of the amount due.



                              They are claiming that I downloaded 35 GB in two and a half months when I have not downloaded any song / movie. I asked them to provide date wise details of the websites visited and the corresponding bandwidth usage, which they are refusing to. Their website conveniently has no usage statistics for the user unlike BSNL. I have been using BSNL unlimited broadband connection in Chennai where I have 8 GB of free usage and I have still not been able to exhaust this. Airtel has an obligation to prove that they have sent me accurate bills if they have data to back it.



                              Instead of working on my request, Airtel has resorted to arm twisting me by calling my relatives and maligning my reputation. I answered a call from their recovery team (Shikha, Sheetal and their manager Rakesh) on the 29th of May 2011 at 11.10 a.m. The number they were calling from was +[protected]. I explained to them that I cannot make the payment until they provide me the details to back their tall claims. Their manager Rakesh offered to settle my dues for half of the total oustanding which I refused, because I have done nothing wrong. At this point, he started speaking rudely and began abusing me. He even threatened me that my relatives will contine to be pestered / harassed by Airtel until I pay, in spite of the fact that they have my e-mail address and phone number and I am already corresponding with them.



                              I have e-mailed their nodal, appellate and compliance officers to no avail. I have even e-mail Sunil Bharti Mittal but he doesn't care to respond. Please suggest what legal alternatives do I have?

                              Airtel — privacy violation and harrassment

                              I had an airtel postpaid connection for almost 20 months....my every month bill use to be an average around 850/- around 600 more than the rental..i paid this all the time since i spoke for those minutes....but then during mid of January i used my wi-fi mobile to access my broadband i did this for two days without any other devices being used on my only wifi....after two days i got a message stating my unbilled amount which hiked up about 1500/- than the previous amount which was sent to me couple of days ago..
                              I immediately called CC and explained the issue and informed them prior where the problem might and they understood and they said not to worry i will not be charged..i informed them very early almost couple of weeks earlier before the bill would be generated..i clearly mentioned them that they mistaken that i have used my gprs but wherein i was really using my broadband..i kept reminding them but everybody said they'll take care..but no body did because my bill was way too high...i called them said about the complaints i have raised explanations i gave before the problem they said it will be resolved they said it will be taken care they asked me to send a mail i have even send a screen shot of the two dates at which both my broadband and mobile details shows the data downloaded spoke with appellate send mail to couple of other people i was stating them i would not pay the bill until my complaint has been solved and my bill gets recalculated they said they'll solve the issue they made me run through all their departments none helped...lot of floor managers and executives harassing me and speaking rudely and saying i have no other go other than to pay the amount were the final things to happen..
                              i waited for 2 to 3 months then got pissed off and threw away the connection unfortunately all the details i had about this problem got deleted when my phone got formatted...now after 3 months i receive call from airtel stating i have to pay the amount of 4700/- his person who contacted me doesn't even know what my issue was i had to explain him again that would have been the 150th time i was explaining the issue he was not even letting me to go in to the office he was so blunt on his duty...he was agreeing to deduct the amount and asked me to pay 3178/- which twice than what i would have used the mobile for after the issue occurred i said after all i have gone through for past three months and getting humiliated i said i would not pay....and he said i have to face the legal issues..i said ok ill..

                              then after two days the airtel traced my call history when i used their mobile service and called all the numbers i called at that time and threatened them asking about me telling me as fraud to everyone is this the legal way of facing the issue..do they have authority to access one's personal records and use it for their purpose without their permission and saying as my friend and calling me fraud...they are threatening me saying that they,ll put me in jail... i knew what civil and criminal law is but then i can pay the amount but the true amount for which i have used the services not before they compensate me through proper apologies and money for the harassment and humiliation i have gone through before and after the issue...tell me if i am wrong some where i am just trying to acquire my rights as a consumer..guide me if i am wrong

                                  Have gone through a very bad time on 1.06.2011 with the Airtel DTH
                                  1 .How can the subscription been cancelled for my Customer ID , when i have a balance of INR 238.54 and validity till 27.06.2011 ?
                                  2. Since morning 9.00 am of 01.06.2011 my Airtel DTH box is not working
                                  3. After office hours .. when i reached home found the issue was not resolved . then thought of getting a solution from CC by dailing [protected] @ 10.43pm, After a long wait with the repeated announcement ( Apka call hamareliye mahatyu purna hai .. kripaya line meain bane rahein ) the executive picked up the call with some unclear words ... The Executive intruduced himself as sandip and answerd me out of the world . after certain time he had confirmed that there was a technical problem at my setup box end . he had confirmed that he has done the necessary changes at his level and told me to try changing the channels ,and then to wait with switching on the DTH for 30 mins

                                  My understanding from the conversation is
                                  1st > " the Executive attended my call was not trained "
                                  2nd> he was not at all intrested to listen the query
                                  3rd > if not the office boy who had picked up the call ... reason when my prefered language was hindi ..why the hell did he exchange the talk in hindi


                                  Need an end to end resolution ,

                                    I beg to say that I am a prepaid Airtel user. My no. is [protected] . In December, 2010, suddenly it was shown that the registration of my number had been failed without the prior information. When I went to the Airtel Office situated at Bombay Plaza, Bareilly, UP, I was asked for submit my ID and get my no . I submitted my ID . But the number had not been activated . Then I again went to the office and I found that my submitted ID had been lost. Then I again submitted two IDs one by one. But the status was same. My no. is still not activated.

                                    My total business is being finished slowly-slowly because the Airtel no. is my business no. I have a lot of loss of money and time. A lot of time has been spent. Six months has been passed.

                                      Sir,
                                      My brother had been trying to port his mobile connection number [protected] from airtel to Uninor and he'd been sent a unique porting ID by Airtel authorities. The ID is AL239415 and is valid till 01/06/2011. Meanwhile, Airtel had asked their customer care executives to convince my brother bcak to using airtel in which he was least interested and he had once rejected their offers. Later on, he was asked to submit the ID proofs at Uninor office and had done it. It was then, a second customer care executive called in and started convincing again. He said, if he wished to saty, dialing a specific number would do and that he will be recieving atttractive offers. But my brother informed him that he was so certain about porting and wanted it immediately. The person at the other end hanged up and then my brother got a message saying, his ID proofs submitted were rejected. But he'd not dialed any number nor asked the customer care executive to activate any offers to make him stay...

                                      This is denial of the customer's freedom.

                                        Hi,

                                        This is Ramya Koneru using Karantaka Airtel connection. I got a message recently saying 'thanks for subscribing MMS subscription service' and they started deducting 2 rs daily when i didnt subscribe for anything. And i have been trying to call customer care since this started(more than a week) and how many times i call its getting cut in between. When i try with option "STOP" its saying you are presently not registered with DND service. Cant i do anything about this other than simply waiting for them not to cut the customer service call or not to deduct money from my balance? I mailed to [protected]@in.airtel.com also, but no reply from them.

                                        Hoping to find a solution atleast by complaint.
