I am a Airtel Dth consumer from past few months holding the customer id: [protected] with registered phone number: [protected].
Last week an airtel engineer named Praveen approached the registered phone number with current offers present in Airtel Dth, as the offers sounded good and feasible i asked the guy to come to my home and i took a six month package offer wherein Airtel Dth was providing me 5% discount on monthly rental charge and additionally one month extra.
He made a receipt (PFA) and i paid him Rs. 1850/- , he left my home saying the offer will be activated on your id within next 1 hr. From that day whenever i call on his provided number it either leaves unanswered else in switch off mode, the provided office number being fake.
Having tried for n number of times, i registered a complaint with Airtel Dth customer care[protected] with complaint number[protected] and i was said i will get a call back in next 24 hrs, i called up post waiting for 24 hrs and in the process i was put to (wait/hold) for 25 min' s and since i saw no reply i disconected the phone.
Also attaching the receipt the engineer gave along with this complaint.
Now the main things here are that
1) The guy who approached me had complete details of my connection and from what i could see he was the same person who installed the set up box few months back.
2) Is it not the responsibility of Airtel Dth which is such a big reputed organization to sort out and help a consumer who has registered a complaint.
All i am hoping for is a fair justice.
