Sir/Madam,

My name is Amit Kumar Moria and i am having a airtel prepaid mobile phone number [protected]. As i have giving exams so i switched off my mobile phone during exam time. for the last two days of exam whenever i switch on my mobile i got message that i have missed some important calls and if i want to know the numbers i missed i should request at *321*887# dialing. As instructed i dial this number and i got the message that your request is under process and i will soon get the list of 5 numbers i missed. This has happened on the last two days of my exams but i haven't got any list of numbers despite of dedcuted of the request made amount. Airtel care is the most third class service in the mobile phones provider every time i called on that service it got autotmatically disconnected whenever i tried to talk with customer care executive.

You are, requested to kindly look into the matter.

    The salesman promised for internet and took the cheques of 699 INR. The amount got credited to BhartiAirtel and after 15 days I called the customer care and cancelled my request because they did not have any facility for broadband in my area and still now am waiting for my money to be credited back to my account. These people are cheating everyone in my area for broadband connection but they do not have the setup ready yet. Please take some serious action against these people.

      Hi , I bought an airtel calling card on April 22,2011 at Chennai Airport. To my utter surprise, I noticed that this person sold me a card dated June 2010 and valid for 9 months. I am totally taken back how such a reputed service provider like Airtel can do this at airport.

      The card was bought for Rs.500/- at Chennai International Terminal on April 22, 2011

          I am a Airtel Postpaid customer from March 2009. Actually I took this SIM in my friend's name at that time as I don't have address proof. Now I need to change customer name and Address for the same. What is the procedure for this. I contacted local Airtel office, they said it will be done in Bangalore, where I purchased the SIM. Called to Customer care, they are saying it can't be done. Please guide me.

                Hi,

                My name is Jasmine, and I am being harassed by Airtel Customer care. One of my know person was using the number ([protected]) Airtel post paid number. 1 year back she left Bangalore and discarded but later came to know that the number was be given to somebody else. Now after one year I received a call from an Advocate Naidu and he tells me that I used the number and have to make the payment. My question is how did he get my number? as I came to bangalore a month ago and the airtel number was dead a year ago. and this number is nowhere in the track record as I am using my friend's number. I am sure they are doing some illegal things and harassing me. I am not even an Airtel user. He even threatened me that they are going to lodge a police complain. So hw did they find my number? Its my security issue now. They r using illegal way for sure, I have come here to work and my number is becoming public and crooks like this are calling me HARASSING me. I hope somebody listens to my complain and they stop harassing me.

                    Dear Sir

                    I had purchased Airtel DTH Ultra pack HD on November 20,2010.

                    As per the company website and as confirmed by the various executives of the company, ultra pack was and perhaps still is the most superior package on offer (for north Indian languages) by Airtel DTH services.

                    Even at the time of installation, the company had misrepresented facts as Airtel only had 2 HD quality channels, DD-Sports and NGC. However, the company despite charging almost double the amount of money compared to normal ultra pack and promoting their product as HD pack with superior picture and sound quality was not providing any HD channels and the customer was supposed to pay extra money for each channel. I had to write repeatedly and struggle with various executives before finally they provided me 1 HD channel i.e., NGC.

                    Last month when i was away on vacations, i started getting text messages from Airtel DTH that my services have been disconnected due to balance getting over, i found it weird but could not have done much at that time. When i reached back to Mumbai, i realised that the only HD channel that i was getting was disconnected. Along with it other channels i.e., Ten Cricket was also disconnected. When i spoke to a company representative Mr. Jayant of Airtel DTH at [protected], he told me that Airtel had actually started few more HD channels but there was some issue with the new satellite or transponder positioning and all the channels with error SM1 and error 4 will start coming to my connection within half an hour. I was satisfied and i waited but nothing happened. I called Airtel again and this time i was told by another executive that i will have to pay for all the HD channels including NGC HD and to top it all, also Ten cricket.

                    I found this extremely unethical and lost my cool to which the executive banged the phone on me. Unfortunately, I had no option but to loose my cool and get answers to my genuine and most reasonable questions pertaining to the services that were not provided to me despite me paying the full amount in advance.

                    I list the questions here-in-below:

                    1. How can Airtel disconnect Ten sports, the channel i was getting before the India-West Indies series started?
                    2. How can NGC HD be disconnected when i was already getting it.
                    3. Which representative of the company was lying, Jayant? whom i spoke to at 20.20 hrs or the one i spoke at 21.35 hrs on 4th June 2011? Jayant told me that he has done the technical update and all channels with error SM1 and 4(digit) will start in 30 minutes of me speaking to him.
                    4. When i bought the most expensive package, how is it possible that i do not get all the non south channels? This is what was assured to me at the time of purchase of the connection.
                    5. When i bought the HD Ultra package, i was told that any and all the channels that will be added to the platform by Airtel in coming months will be automatically added to my connection. Why am i being forced to pay for additional HD channels and even normal channels and most particularly Ten sports - the channel that i used to get and only before the series started it was disconnected. Does it not mean that the company is getting greedy and not fulfilling its obligations even after charging entire years amount in advance.

                    I request response to my complaint at the earliest.

                    Airtel DTH — service for HD channels not provided

                    Hello
                    My name is Shamsuddin Hasnani and my Airtel customer ID is [protected] (Pune), i had requested for a HD channel package on 26 July 2011, I didnot get any response back for 3 days, So icalled up the customer Care, they first informed it will take 5 days , so i waited till 30 July , i got no response , I call 3 times the only anser I got that our systems ate getting updated so we can check your request, finally some agaent sent another request to get resolved the issue on 31 Jult before 12:00 noon, request number 10511591 . howevertill no there is no engineer who has come up, I tried calling the customer care , some customer Care agent Ronak who arrogant to the limit as if he didnot want to the call and was forced to do it , gave the same reply "our systems are updating " and when asked fora supervisor blank said "No" and on insisting cut the call, this happen again with me 2 twic i wasted nearly an hour (forget about the mobile calling charge i incrred i still didno get the service) ,finally I got the number+[protected] whihc belonged to some airtel enigneer , he said he would be sending someone by 3:30 PM , I waited till 4:30 PM got no answer , so i called again , he gave me a number for anther engineer Nilesh +[protected] , who had no idea of my request , so i called the first number again , who then sent a requst to Nilesh at 5:30 PM , However Nilesh said he can only come after 8:30 PM if possible or tommorrow , thats all , I tried contact the airtel service center, they are least bothered about it and directly discconect my call wthout any resloution, s this the customer service Airtle provided once the get the monety from the customers. I think if you cannot handle something then why do ou even promsie of giving any such services. Your customer has been made to repaet only one line like a parrot "our system are updating " , your engineer don't want to work.Airtel is least bother about the DTH service , when a request a which is profitable for airtel, takes 5 days to work upon or rather ignored.
                    Seriously if i would have not paid a lumpsum yearly amount , I would have just thrown the DTH in the Trash bin.
                    Please either give a refund (including my mobile bills which incurred calling your futile customer Care and engineers ) or the service ,
                    Hope someone would respond to this

                      I had applied for new Airtel DTH connection( ordered for south package) , based
                      on that I received a call from Airtel associate on 29 th May. Based on our
                      conversation on 30th May, I booked new Airtel DTH connection through my Mobile
                      number ([protected]) by paying Rs 1790 /- via Credit card through their IVR. The
                      Associate promised installation within 48 hrs but till now the issue is
                      pending. I have made number of calls to the customer care and the problem is
                      yet to be resolved. The amount has been debited from my Credit card in the name
                      of Airtel DTH Navi Mumbai MAH. This is really frustrating as daily I make many
                      calls to Customer care and get false promises that the issue will be resolved
                      today. Let me know if I can go to consumer court for this issue. I have
                      attached the credit card Transaction Details .

                      I made nearly 100 calls to the customer care but nobody responded properly .
                      some people even disconnecting the call without informing .
                      no proper service .

                        Deactivate the model view club service

                        i want to deactivate model view club service you have given one link http;//203.15.112.5/mvc/default.aspx?route=unsub on my mob no [protected]. I never asked for this service and Airtel on 03-06-11 just sent a link and charged Rs.99/month an illegal way. When I tried to deactivate, this link never worked. So i request higher authorities to look in into the matter and kindly deactive this service at ealiest and obliged me.

                          I have contacted the Senior Lead Officer -CSD Sri Amogh K of your Calicut Brach for the purpose of Inter Net – Broad Band connection as aforesaid and accordingly your staff visited the site and agreed to provide the connection. It is requested to provide a application form duly filled , address proof and a cheque for Rs 699/- towards the fee . All those papers were filed then and there and it was agreed to provide the connection on the said day ie[protected]. Unfortunately you have not turned up to provide the connection even after several enquires were made by me for this purpose. It is very unfortunate and shocking to see that there was no positive response from your side. Later on your Senior Lead Officer on my phone call it was replied that you are not in a position to provide the connection without assigning any reason. The proposed site for the connection is with in the Calicut (Kerala State) city and there is no difficulty for any body to provide the connection. Your advertisement and the propaganda made it very clear that connection will be given with out any delay has no meaning and you are in fact cheating the poor customers like me. I have spent my valuable time believing your words and there is absolutely no justification for not giving the connection . I have sustained huge loss and mental agony due to the Unfair Trade practice and delay in providing the service and the deficiency of service on your part as aforesaid. As a customer I will be constrained to approach the Consumer forum for the appropriate relief’s unless the compensation of Rs 25,000/- is given to me with in 10 days of receipt of this notice along with the cheque and other papers you have collected from me

                            I complaint for the No signal problem to the local office the compony the number was provided by the vendor of the product after complainting three time regularly the service engineer came and adjusted the disk,and charged money for that, as this type of service are servicable on company end, the componey is cutting money for the same period even I didn't avil the facility just becouse of componey's lazy service.
                            The management should think about all thease problems and the curtaiment for the period should be given back in form of recharge to maintain the faith of costumer. Otherwise the reputation of the componey will decay day by day.

                            Airtel — Low signal even after so many complaint

                            In my colony, all airtel users are not able to get signal.
                            As i have given lots of complaint to them there is no signal
                            no respond from them and they don't even care customer.
                            Its all bad service from them

                            DTH India Omega — Signal cut

                            I have already deposited Rs. 1800/- on 27.11.08 if my renewal date was 29.11.08. But your sub agent did not submit my 11 digit card No. and rupees in right time due to disconnect my channel.
                            I am very sorry without any information disconnect my connection. Your main dealer situated at ADRA in the District of PURULA, West Bengal
                            i stay at 2-3-142 ramgopalpet secunderabad or another name for this area is ranigunj nallagutta we do not get any signals here and it is very inconvienent to recieve calls or make phone calls i have many time given a complaint but they said it will take 3 months to put a tower but now after 6 months also we have the same bloody problem airtel has become crap now i have been using airtel from a very long time but never had any problem till now my airtel no is [protected]

                            Dish TV — signal problem

                            I was reinstalled dish TV on 20/03/09 by dish TV technician from that day dish was not working properly. I was complened in customer care so many times but any satisfactory taken by the company. My complaint no-2701196.

                            dish tv / set top box and antenna — poor signal

                            most of channels I have selected the disply will be 'signal not found'
                            Just check whether you have paid the subscription and also if yes then rescan or retune your STB and chak once gain. and still if you won't get required channels then contact customer care.

                            Dish TV — not receiving signals no proper technician is not coming

                            I have compalained many times technicians are coming after 4 days and not giving proper services when they are put the signals it is coming after going them with in off-an -hour signal is not founding what is the problem they are not understanding as well as myself so plsease kindly take a responsible action

Recently on 20/8/2009 my connection displayed message `Set Top Box is not able to receive signal'. I complained to Airtel on the next day. I was given complaint No. 958148 and told that it will be attended on 23/8/2009 at 1400 hours. Nobody turn up for attending the fault on 23/8/2009. I again called up at about 2000 hours to find out the status of complaint. I was coolly given another complaint No. 964026 and told that it will be attended on 25/8/2009. I am very upset that the complaints are not attended promptly. On the earlier occassions also I had experienced the same. If I am not able to see the television why the daily payment is deducted? I am seriously thinking to discontinue Airtel's services. I also appeal other not to go for Airtel's Digital TV

                            We have received the SMS from Airtel DigiTV stating that there is an offer
                            of Rs.999 for existing customers of Airtel with one month subscription free
                            To avail this we already put in the request to Customer care to install the Set top box at our home.
                            Four Working days passed, and till the time no one came to collect money from us, we are calling at 12150 on regular basis but with no positive response.
                            We even went to Airtel Outlet but that also left in VAIN as they said they can't help us in this regard as they are not authorized people.

                            Please tell to whom we should contact in this regard??

                            Air-tel D TH — Charges, signal quality and customer service

                            Hi,

                            I have purchased Air-tel d th south-ultra pack few days pack. From then on hell broke loose. First the guy who fixed the dish told that it would take 24hrs for every thing to set and he will come afterwards to come and check whether everything is all right. Things didn't settle and he didn't come.40-50 channels where either not coming or braking off due to signal problem. Next, the top-ups which I requested weren't coming. And finally I get a message that my account is in negative even after paying in full. The package cost is Rs4290 on the net on the official Air-tel website, it was sold to me for retail price of Rs 4550, which is clearly evident on the big hording, on the air-tel d th vouchers and retail guys selling at that price.

                            Called the call center guy, They tell me that I have to recharge again or my connection will be disconnected as the info given to them says it is for Rs4950. Imagine the frustration of being told that, when there own website, hording, voucher and the retail guy say one thing and after buying and paying for a whole year. You are being told to chuck in more money or you will be cut-off.

                            After 20 heck tick phone calls of giving details and explaining everything repeatedly to different people. And after registering couple of complains ( got a message that the problem is solved while my connection was cut the same day) and asking couple of times to talk to there senior. I finally got to speak to their senior today. Only after I sat down from 5:00 in the evening continually calling them, speaking to different guys requesting to speak to their senior. Finally got to speak to their senior at 9:00 in the night. ' 4 hours of repeated phone calls and requests' to just talk to a senior. Will any guy buying a TV connection want to go through this. And one week of continue phone calls and a 4hr continue session, think you can get work done even in govt office in the good old days.

                            And you know what the funny part is. The problem is not yet solved, I only got a promise from the senior that it account balance problem would be resolved on '24hrs' (like his juniors repeated promises earlier). Only after which I had to register a separate complain each for signal quality and the missing channels.

                            So anyone buying an air-tel d th has to be ready for a long test match. Wait!!! did I say test match, that is only for max of six days. This is indefinitely longer, tougher, requires immense patience and you might hit the jack-pot couple of times of rude call-center guys.

                            airtel digital set box — set box not working since last two month

                            I raised a complaint about my Airtel Digital TV set-up box not working and functioning since last two month.
                            By the time of registering the complaint, the executive told me that the problem would be reloved on next day.

                            Before one month two time your enginear visit our home and check this set box and second time because of problem in set box this person has change this set box. but after two three days this problem is running and we call this enginear but this person say that y will call to airtel office and tell new set box reqier because last time set box is old.

                            No one has turned up by the given resolution time. after that i call on airtel toll free number.I told them that no one has come to my home to solve the problem. Then that person told me that the problem would be resolved by 12 noon the next day. Already 24 hrs passed and still I have to wait for another 15 hrs. It's 12:30 in the afternoon, and the problem still persists. No engineer has come to look into my problem. this type of cheating every time occure.

                            last two weeks i call everyday to airtel office and your executive tell me that next day your problem is solved. at this time my problem not solved.

                            I am able to resolve the issue. It has come twice, Once the Airtel DTH ( ADTH ) guy came second time I was able to resolve it myself.
                            diagnose:
                            you can diagnose if you are at this issue or not ?
                            Signal Quality -- ( > 197 )
                            Signal Strength -- ( > 20 )
                            And you are not receiving the signals just black screen with program info or 108, 283, 284 -- channel says error code B001..

                            Solution:
                            Then the whole problem lies in the Antenna. Antenna has a dish and the some small black protruding on a stick outside the antenna where the cable is connected to setup box. The signal sent by satellite is received by the dish and reflected back to be captured at the black protruding object on a stick outside the antenna where the cable is connected to setup box. Now the signal is captured by this black object and sent through cable to the setup box.
                            Here lies the problem the dish is capturing the signals as seen by the signal quality and the strength . but the problem lies in the signal being received to setup box through black protruding object on a stick outside the antenna where the cable is connected to setup box. Hence the black object attached to stick need to be rotated. it has some lines on it which can be rotated clock or anti-clockwise. Now adjust this black round plastic object anti-clockwise or clockwise such that the middle arrow in the black is pointing to the center of the point shown on the fixed black object.

                            if the signal strength/quality is low, then first you have to adjust the dish to get the proper signal strength and the quality.

                            if all the above seems to be correct then you must reset the setup box.

These MNC's are taking customer for a ride. A cable operator would have attended the problem with in an hour.

                            I have airtel digital TV since last 1 year.But from last 10 days my digital TV has some problem thats why it is closed complitly.I have complaint at AIRTEL DIGITAL TV three or four times but my problem is not solved yet.My complain no is 5991594 and 6006905.

                            Do not join Wirkle Technologies situated in Gurgaon, Haryana. It is run by 3 fraud people who have malicious intention to corrupt the future of young people. They will take you as trainee and will change you for the offer letter and will tell that you have stolen company's property like laptop and mobile devices. They do not give the salary promised and then make excuses by saying that customer is not happy so why should company pay.

                            AirTel — no signals

                            today 19.03.2011 in the morning when i opened tv there were no signal from Airtel digital tv.
                            I comlained to customer care (mr. arihan jain) at Airtel digital and he asked me to restart tv after switching off and removing the plugs from main i did so but no response and the screen showed that no signal being provided by the service provider . Mr. jain immediately said that complaint is being forwarded to service centre and engineer will charge Rs.100/- . This was told before mr. jain could check at his end about the relay of signals or recharge or any other thing at their end. Mr. Jain put forward my complaint to another his colleague stating that she was supervisor, but she repeated the same story. they were asked to give me the number of higher up in this regard but they did not respond.

                            Please see that I am the sufferer since I am not able to utilize the service since morning and not sure when this will be set right and also have to pay Rs,100/- which is unjustified and uncalled for .

                            Through this column i would bring to the kind notice of management to look into this problem of customers.

                            I have called airtel toll free call centre number more than 50 times since yesterday and unfortunately have got the opportunity to speak to the call centre executive only 5 times as most of the times the call gets disconnected after waiting for more than 10 mins…But since I am stuck up with airtel digital TV connection I am left with no option but to try again…

                            My problem:

                            The cable connection has blacked out since yesterday morning...Had I been using any cable operatoir service then he would have been at my doorstep in 30 mins max....

                            My futile attempts:

                            Customer request number generated : 6352332 on 27th March stating service personel will attend to it by 4.15 p.m and still none
                            Customer request number generated : 6376773 stating the service personnel will attend to it by 3.30 p.m and still none have attended to the same

                            I just spoke to someone in your service team @ call centre, Gurpreet (Identified as Senior supervisor) wjho assured me that by 7 p.m the same would be sorted at any cost....

                            Its 7.40 p.m and none from Airtel digital dept have either contacted me over phone or visited my residence...Would sincerely suggest that non to get a airtel connection as its a harrasment of top order wherein you pay the money and they gobble it up comfortably...On top of it I have got 3 phone calls form their automated no,s advising me to recharge as my expiry date is due in next 3 days time....

                            It was a big mistake in removing the local channel service and installing airtel digital in the very first place.The service provided by them is pathetic.The set top box provided by the company is not working properly and i m unable to view any channels since last 6 days.In spite of calling them for around 10 time the company engineer comes after 4 days and that too without the set top box..I have been given a new complaint no. every time i call them.The executive attending the call says its a very small issue.I dont understand when the service providers consider the complaints to be small issues,how the problems will be solved?

The management should understand one thing only sales person will not bring the business now-a-days, service is the main tool. if the service is poor, it like suicide.

                            The managment should concentrate on service to maintain their good name with cutomers, Really i thought to have AIRTEL Brondband for home, but if the service is like this, will I think for that????

                            So calling up Customer Support 12150 from last 7 days, I almost made 21 calls to this customer support .Every time they will register new complaint for the same problem and will be telling problem will be resolved within 3:30 PM tomorrow. No body turned from last 5 days to resolve the problem.
                            Even they are disconnecting my phone.They are giving fake phone numbers with the complaint registartion number, Which they will messge to our Mobiles.
                            When tried to contact local manager here in hyderabad (Phone No :[protected], they are telling manager is not avialable and even they are disconneting my call.
                            This is the once of the WORST and HOPLESS Servcie ever i saw.

                            is software problem in the SET BOX.

                            After that problem remain same and there is no any action they have taken

                            My subsciption # 3000699XXX, Airtel DTH TV connection has not been providing signal since 2nd Apr'11, my subscription expired on 23rd April'11...they call , take appts but the engineers never turn up.

                            Every day , all they do is call up for renewal but no one is keen to fix the real problem of signal.

                            Your tall claims of having better service are all foul and useless.
                            1) I have lodgged complaint for 4 times every time giving the problem.
                            - Surprisingly airtel loggs complaint ans also closes complaint without attending.

                            2) My connection is not working properly (note properly) as sound / movie is breaking since 3/6/2011.
                            Every time I am assured that this period (till the connection is made workable) will not be charged but I find daily debits from a/c.

                            3) I am given some complaint no. & phone no to contact your dealer but the deleaer never comes on phone :
                            either it is out of range or no reply.

                            4) I am also advised to go and request to the dealer who is 2o KM away from me however there is no system in air tel to solve problem of customer.

                            5) One day engineer comes says the dish needs to be re-directed due to setallite issues : but he can not help as that job is handled by some diff. dept.

                            6) Everytime I discuss with new person on help line _ assured that with in 24 hrs the problem will be resolved with is yet to come true after a gap of 9 days.

                            I am totally dis-satisfied customer and hence sending this mail to media coverage also.

                            The person on helpline do not want to understand the problems of customer and every time repeadely ask address, pin code, as they are not having the same despite calling from the registered mobile nos.

                            If some responsible person (other then helpless line people) is reading this mail then they should ocmeforward to solve the problem.                             Hi,

                            I have been an Airtel Customer for past 12 years which includes 3 mobile numbers, 1 landline connection and 1 broadband connection.
                            So it feels terrible now to be at this end and have to write an email on the pathetic behavior shown by Airtel people towards their old customers.

                            I had logged a complaint with the Airtel ( Complaint no. mentioned above ) regarding my landline not working properly.
                            Following were the consequences or I may say punishments of being an airtel customer :

                            1) 20 days, 6 follow up calls,6 different customer care executives and 2 floor managers involved and still no action has been taken.
                            2) 2 times the complaint got closed by itself and I had to reopen it and had to fight for it so that it can stay open.
                            3) Wrong and incorrect comments were entered to close the complaint which were not uttered by me during any of the calls ( like the instrument is personal
                            and hence the problem is mine and not Airtel's etc.In reality, the instrument is provided by Airtel only )
                            4) Every time an assurity is given to me and the irresponsible behavior has driven me crazy.

                            No one is ready to take this complaint as their responsibility now since no one wants to take this responsibility Fault on their heads.
                            Cowardly, every one is sneeking out of this

                            It feels pathetic to be an Airtel customer now and I have decided to change all the Airtel products that we are using since I guess they have their
                            enough share of customers now and they are making more than enough money and hence they don't need the old customers now.

                            I purchased a Sony Bravia and received a connection of Airtel DTH as an add-on gift. When contacted Airtel, they said that I had to pay Rs 1750/- as recharge in order to get the connection. I paid Rs 1750/- for recharge for which they didn't provide me any invoice mentioning that Airtel doesn't give any invoice for recharge. Govt.should make rules that company should provide the equipment, cause if they do so they will provide good service, otherwise they don't care about the customers.                             after the cyclone, today the power got restored at sagar nagar. when I
                            switch on the set top box, it stays with orange color light and on tv it
                            sayys there is no signal. when pressed ok it shows signal strength as zer0.

                            Then after waiting for another 36 hrs, I called them back on 24th Oct. 5:47 PM to the
                            customer care number [protected] and lodged a complaint stating the problem. When I asked
                            them that I have complained earlier on "my airtel app", they said they do not have any
                            reports of the problem (even though the above two messages say they have received my
                            complaints). Anyway after reporting my problems they provided me a reference number (which
                            is[protected] and said that it is going to be solved within 24 hrs. They also provided me a
                            number to call to [protected] (I have tried several times to this number but it hardly
                            connects, so i stopped calling this number after two days) and also said that one person
                            is going to call me on this.

                            After I did not receive any response from anyone, I called them back once more on Sunday
                            26th to [protected] at 10:26 AM to which they give me a false promise that the person is
                            going to call me on the same day for checkup. I waited and waited and even did not went
                            to shopping thinking that at any moment they might call me. But nobody turned up on that day.

                            on 24th Oct 5:50 PM, to which they replied it is going to be solved in 24 hrs. I waited till 26th
                            and when I did not got any one I again called them up on 26th at 10:24 AM. They said that one person
                            is going to come there on that day and will look into the matter. It is already 29th Oct 2014, I
                            neither get any person to look into the matter nor any reply from them telling when they are going
                            to correct it. And that also happens in the city of Visakhapatnam. So pathetic customer service and
                            I suggest everyone to boo booo airtel products.

                            I think after they read it they called me back asking "if my video peoblem got solved or not". The
                            call was from the number [protected] (once at 12:00 PM when I was on exam invigilation duties, so i
                            cancelled it) and another time at 4:25 pm. When I picked up the later call, they said some one is
                            going to come and correct it and he will call me back. It is already 31st 3:07 PM and so far no one

                            Almost 12 days have been passed since my first complaint and so far no solutions have been provided but they keep asking for more time (exactly how mach more only GOD knows) . Not only that they everyday, are deducting Rs 12/- per day from my digital TV account.

                            So I am providing this complaint against Airtel digitla tv, not only to restore my service freely as soon as possible but also restore my balance in my digital tv account plus a Rs 5000/- fine to me for providing false promises

                              This mail is in reference to the discrepancy in my airtel bill of my mobile number [protected] since last two months. ( March and April, 2011)
                              Since the month of April, I was charged for WAP_ALL via airtel live which I have not utilized. I had lodged a complaint last month with Airtel customer care for the same, since May month bill did not have the usage details as it’s always mentioned. So when I requested for duplicate bills twice I was given 1 month old bill twice. When I complained again, I was asked to pay the bill and my issue would be resolved but no one responded after I paid the bill. Also after that I requested for the deactivation of the airtel live service.
                              Since my bill is generated on the 12th of each month, a customer service message o[censored]nbilled amount which starts from rupees zero is always received, however this time it did not happen and it continued billing with the existing Rs. 3148.49 amount. I called Airtel consumer service centre and lodged a complaint and they told me that there is a glitch in the system and it will be restored.
                              Now for the month of April - May, I received the message that my unbilled amount was Rs. 8204.2, since I have not received the hard copy of the bill I went online to check that I have been charged Rs. 6852.70 for the month of April to may 2011 only for the internet usage on phone which I have not used. Within a span of 10 days that is from 11th of April till 21st April I have been charged this amount. Since I suffered the last month’s bill issue I purposely did not use the service till it was deactivated. I also checked with then whether any other service like 3G or GPRS was activated and they told me it wasn’t. Also the usage is not possible since I am at home and I use my wireless most of the time, hence I have a very limited usage of Airtel Live. Moreover I have been charge some 1500 rupees on WAP_ALL on the days when I was not in DELHI as well.
                              My past bills, you will see that the internet usage has never exceeded 200 rupees since I am using my wireless most of the time, its only the facebook application that I use with airtel live.
                              Post the March- April bill, I was constantly kept lodging complaints to their nodel office as well as their appellate office. I was called twice by the nodel office, they told me once that by default the Airtel Live option has been opening. This is a glitch in their system. Since I am not even using the service I am being charged. I was sent a message that the bill has been sent to my residence, but I did not receive the same. Post which I kept lodging complaints for them to contact me and resolve my issue. Its been so long and there has been no resolution at their end. They are providing me with a waiver but why should i pay the amount for the service that i have not used. I am being charged wrongfully. Kindly assist me in the same.
                              I humbly request you to please oblige me with the same.
                              Please find attached the bills of the last two months.

                                This complaint is regarding my broadband connection with number [protected] from AirTel.
                                I was a user of Broadband service from AirTel for past 4 years and in Dec 2010 I shifted to a new area (HSR Layout in Bangalore). Since there was no feasibility of the AirTel broadband in the new area (due to technical limitations from AirTel), I requested to cancel my connection so that I can go for some other broadband connection. Even though there was no feasibility of the Airtel broadband in that area the people from AirTel asked me for time to check the feasibility again and again (atleast 5-6 different persons contacted me and told me that they will check the feasibility, this whole process took some 1-1.5 months and my connection was still active, and I WAS BILLED ON THAT. in the end however everyone of them had the same response that the feasibility is not there in that area).

                                In the meanwhile, airtel did not forget to generate bill (for a broadband connection which I was not using at all). For past few months I have been harassed by AirTel people for the bill payment.
                                One day I received a call from the AirTel asking me to pay the pending bill and an additional amount of approx rupees four hundred. This guy promised me that once I pay this amount the remaining amount will be waived off and the connection will be terminated. As suggested I went ahead and paid the bill as well as the additional amount. Once done, I informed AirTel that I've done so and that guy promised that within a few days the connection will be terminated.
                                But after a few weeks I again start getting the calls from AirTel regarding the new bill payment (and I have not being using this connection since Dec, 2010). Now I get a call everyday by a new person for the bill payment and I have to explain this problem to them in detail.

                                Can someone please look in to this and save me from this harassment and get my connection terminated?
                                I really do not understand why AirTel does not disconnect the connection on several requests and continues generating the bill.

                                Airtel Broadband — Billing and Disconnection Problem

                                I have an Airtel Broadband connection phone number [protected] (Account no[protected]. I am using Airtel Broadband for more than an year now but facing lot of problem for last few months.



                                It all started when I bought Blackberry and opted for blackberry services through Airtel and I requested for Airtel Broadband disconnection however they suggested a plan of 250 Rs and I took it but after a few months I realized that it was costing me more then my earlier plan so I again requested for disconnection, Again they said that we will give you a 450 plan with 20% waiver for 6 months with no charges in first month. I liked the plan and opted for it.



                                But to my surprise I got a bill which had no discount no waiver and addition of Airtel PC secure so I did not made the payment I also called customer care and told them however my net was disabled but I continued receiving bills. October end I got a call from Mr. Sahil and he asked me to make a payment of Rs 1564 outstanding bill and I told him that I will not be making any payment as I was not using the net for last 2 months but he said that he will deduct all the charges (waiver, discount and Airtel PC secure) and asked me to make a payment of Rs700 as final settlement.



                                I did not want to be involved much so I made the payment but lately I have started receiving calls for payment of outstanding bill so daily I got 2-3 calls and every time I had to narrate the whole story. What am I supposed to do? It’s been almost a month since I have asked them for disconnection however they are not disconnecting the broadband and the bill is keep coming. They also told me that they will not disconnect the connection unless I will make the payment but why should I make the payment. I want action against Mr. Sahil who took 700 RS from me as I was not even willing to make that payment. He lied to me and then made no action for disconnection of my services.



                                I would also like to mention that I have submitted ‘N’ number of complains sometimes I got the complaint number and sometime not most of them I don’t even remember. However I have two complaint numbers for reference F[protected], #25734914.



                                I would like to file a complaint against Airtel Broadband and Mr Sahil for the mental harassment they have created.



                                Please suggest how to proceed. I am in no mood forgive them, they have already created a lot of problems for me.



                                I am evening planning to get my blackberry services disconnected I will go with Vodafone. I don’t trust Airtel and not willing to pay 25-30 thousand Rs annually to them.



                                P.S. I forgot to mention the language and behaviour shown by airtel’s staff. If this is the way they treat their customers then soon airtel will no longer be number 1.

                                  I have booked Airtel DTH from airteldth.info website which is not Airtel website and is owned by some Mukesh who is not taking any responsibility. He promised me to get the installation within 2 days while after making payments he was not answering my calls and after 3 days still installation is pending.

                                  Now again he is not reachable and nobody is listening to my problem. Please beware of such dealers and Airtel should act against them.

                                    I would like to file a complaint against Bharti Airtel Ltd. for harassment and
                                    mental torture for the following matter:
                                    It is proved that airtel broadband customercare is trained only for telling lies.
                                    I am a 4 years old customer of Airtel Broadband and have made the shifting request once in the span of 4 years.Recently,I requested for a shifting again on May 12th,2011 and guess what,it hasn’t been done yet!!
                                    On May 13th,2011-The day after my request,the line got disconnected and I am not using landline and broadband services since then.
                                    After my repetitive calling and request,they said shifting to your area is technically not possible and hence the shifting is getting delayed.It was a sutle way to say “NO” to the customer that please look for another broadband service provider.
                                    I have stopped tracking and remembering my service request number as the moment I call airtel customer care they immediately open one complaint but sadly,none of them have been actioned upon.On my repetitive requests,I got the line finally shifted to me new place on May 29th,2011.
                                    I confirmed with the service engineer who visited my place about the status of the request and he said there is no technical difficulty in this area and everything is fine!!!
                                    To my utter shock, although the line got shifted, but I realized that my internet and landline is not working at all.The engineer who came for shifting said I’ll come back again to do the final shifting. He never came back nor he is picking up my phone also.
                                    Needless to mention that the service engineer has also forgotten his own list of customers for whom the shifting is required.Poor all of them, who will struggle like me to get the things done from a company like AIRTEL.The service executive earlier too were very condescending and rude to me. I have NEVER been treated this way by service executive of any professional company EVER! For the employee of Airtel India Pvt. Ltd to condone such behavior doesn’t say much for the reputation of their company.
                                    The irony of the fact is that still my landline doesn’t have any dial tone nor I can use internet services.When you call from non-airtel mobile to the airtel customer care,they say please dial our toll free number 198 or 121 from your landline.Can I ask how???? Esp when your landline doesn’t work and this is how you pay the price when you are not an airtel mobile user!!!
                                    I have more than 15 complaint numbers opened and not sure if they have been closed without being auctioned upon. Neither I have heard anything from Airtel yet.
                                    On top of it, the montly e-bill was generated “on time” with the fixed monthly charges and there was no mention of waiver on the bill.
                                    Please suggest the best course of action in such case.I do not want to call Airtel again to get one new complaint number.

                                      AirTel — Airtel Cables Laying

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I would like to bring to your kind notice that your Airtel cable was laid in 3rd Cross street, and your staff have fixed a cable outlet on my house main door pillar and taken the cables to the rear street houses through my house tying the cables to my balcony grill without any information or not having the courtesy to ask permission.

                                      When I questioned your man working he did not reply properly. Hence, I request you to kindly remove the cable from my house grill and make alternative arrangements to take the cables to the next street.

                                      In the absence of which any damage to the cable I shall not be responsible and I may have to take the complaint to the authorized authorities.

                                        I'm ditched by VRITI info. They took my money online and never gave me a receipt. They promised that the installation would be done within 24 hrs, but its been 4 days, no response and they have switched off their mobiles. I don't understand why AIRTEL keeps these falthu guys in thier association. We tried calling their service numbers and no one picked up calls, but intermittently getting busy on those numbers. My bank statement shows the payment info:
