    I have recived the airtel SIM No[protected] H1
    aginest my old SIM and the mobile no is [protected] . Bhubaneswar costumer Care Centre(Airtel) located at Janpath nagar not able to acive the SIM after reminder of several times . Today also i have visited the center and they told me with in a hour it will be activated. But yet it is not activated.I realy dissartisfied with the costumer care centre are located at janapath nagar,Bhubaneswar.And requst to active immidate.

    I have purcahsed a mobile from subhiksha on 10.05.08 and i have submitted all the required documents for the SIM activation on the same day. The subhiksha guys informed me that it will one day to activate the mobile and its almost 2 days now still the mobile hasn't been activated.

    I have also called up the customer care guys of airtel twice and i have to different answers.

    1. One guy says that the there is no balance avialable in the mobile i recharged the mobile for 125 rupees earlier i had done for 95 rupees.
    2. Secound time when i called them up they say that the documents for sim activation have not been recieved.

    These guys are playing around and no body nows what's happening. The mobile no is [protected].
    I am Nalini Hasgekar, Resident of Mumbai. On Sunday 14th June 2009 Two gentlemen One Named Mr. Prashant Sawardekar came to my door with a New scheme of Airtel. I took two SIM cards by paying Rs. 500/- per card(Total Rs. 1000). Mr. Sawardekar said the SIM will get activated after 24 hrs. On Monday 15th June I received a call from Airtel asking permission for activation. Since I had somemore queries regarding the charges, the officer online said she will keep the activation on hold and I should contact Mr. Sawardekar. Next day i.e. on Tue. 16th June 2009 a person came to my residence for varification. On Wed. 17th June I received again a call asking permission to activate the card I agreed to it. The officer online then explained me the way of their billing and said in the beginning I will get a bill for 15 days to adjust the next bills monthwise. I said ok. However since that day to date my both cards are not activated. when I try to call, I get answer that the outgoing call facility is not available. Since that day I tried to call at customer care no. and also to Mr. Sawardekar . The two times he said he will see and solve the problem but therafter he is avoiding talking to me and gives messages through other staff that he is busy or he is not there. If he has given his personal mobile no.to me, how can in his absence his moblile is picked up by others. According to me if 200 min. are free per month, I should have 100 mints free for 15 days. If now I get the bill for 15 days, then what about the free calls ? Will they be get carried over . In any case I am very much disappointed with Airtel and also heard enough from my friends and relatives. I wish to discontinue and money should be refunded back

    I have purchased a PREPAID card from retail Shop. This was on 11.01.11 The mobile number given was [protected]. He told that within a half hour i will activation for your connection

    Now its almost 1 days still the connection is not been activated.

    I was re-issued my lost SIM (SIM NO.[protected]H3) on 09/02/2013 and was told that the SIM will be activated within 4 hours. But till date (15/02/2013) i am waiting for the activation of SIM.
    I have called up Airtel Care and also the Vasai Airtel Gallery several times but there is either no reply or no satisfactory reply.
    Airtel Care person also confirmed that Airtel has received my documents based on which the SIM was re-issued.
    I am disappointed with this ignorant behavior of the personnel of Airtel
    sir/madam i have perchased new sim on 18/11/2014 of rupees 100 since these days my sim was inactive i contacted shop member they told that they have submitted my document . but it s in active my mobile no s [protected] and sim no[protected] H2SYS1408 and my alternative contact no . [protected] plz sol my prbm

      NUMEROUS TIMES SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS THAT MY POSTAL ADDRESS IS DEPARTEMENT OF POSTS AS POSTAL ASSISTANT OF HOSHIARPUR AND PRESENTLY WORKING AT BANGA ROAD, PHAGWARA POST OFFICE.

      Sir,

      I, Mrs. Manjit Kaur, Govt. Post office, Banga Road, Near Police Station, Phagwara-144401 (Pb) had corporate Connection No.[protected]. The said connection had been purchased from the agent on door to door visit. As per the agent’s requirement I furnished all the required documents as per the guidelines of Airtel. As per my purchase in Nov 2010 the said connection got activated in the end of Nov 2010. Then the tale of harassment within a week started. I was told to submit the Verification documents once again. Which I submitted as per customer care executive directions to the Hargobind Nagar, Phagwara’s Airtel Gallery. The said documents furnished. But my connection could not be activated. On continuous harassment by not getting the connection activated I keep on waiting but again the verification had been done by the person from Jalandhar. When I talked to the Customer Care at Airtel I was told that this number has been disconnected, so I had been debarred to receive and make calls from that number within seven days of activation. Again I visited the office of Airtel at Hargobind Nagar and talked to the customer care through the representative of that office that said number has not been activated since long so get it disconnected permanently. The Customer Care Executive directed the concerned official to send the Request.

      On 18th Jan 2011 the request for Permanent Disconnection was sent by Airtel Gallery of Hargobind Nagar, Phagwara. Due to the harassment and continuous problem I made several SMS to permanently disconnect my number.

      I regret to inform you that due to continuous harassment I got connection of from IDEA No.[protected]. With continuous harassment when I shifted to IDEA the Airtel activated my number though I had given request to Disconnect permanently.

      Now Airtel is demanding the charges from me and keep on sending Bill and I received the said Bill, when I am not availing the said connection then the bill raised by the company is WRONG.

      It is requested to waive the bill immediate affect and kindly permanently close my account for God sake. When the company has not restored the number after my so many requests then why now I am being harassed to pay the Wrongly raised bills.

      Now I have in my possession two Mobile connection Nos.[protected] and[protected] and both are in working conditions so kindly don’t harass me unnecessarily by sending wrongly raised bills.

      Bharti Airtel — No address of offices where to submit documents

      Yesterday I recieved a call from[protected] that my number [protected] does not belong to me. I should rsubmit the documents within 72 hours or else my phone will be disconnected. I wanted to know as to where the documents can be submitted ut I feel that the message was pre-recorded and therefore, did not answer me. He also informed me that the ohone is in some other person's name. The documents are to be submitted within 72 hours.

      Why don't these people send the SMS and inform as to where the documents are to be submitted.

      I submitted all the documents of my connection got activated once Dec 2009 and again I sumitted the documents appx.       Dear Mr. Rakesh Ranga,
      The customer care executive called Mrs. Manjit Kaur and to me as well. One day the executive lady who called me at[protected] said that I am viewing on my screen that no calls have been made by the consumer so I am getting the wrongly raised bill waived. From the next day the unscruplous calls started and the consumer got harassed on irrelevant points, viz. The company failed to prove any sort of details about the calls made by the consumer. On repeated requests the company provided the details about the calls made. Again the details are irrelevant. The company provides that the customer made calls on that and that date, within circle and outside circle and the duration of calls. The company keep on harassing the consumer and not provided details based on any material on record. The two grounds the customer care executive says that the consumer has availed TADKA offer. What is this the consumer don't know. Secondly when the connection was out of order then how this irrelevant offer had been ordered. The customer care executive raised second point that the internet connection has been used. When the connection was not in order and the calls have been debarred and there is no detail of calls the company keep on harassing by making one or other excuse to extort money from the consumer.
      This is the case of advanced stage of HARASSMENT --WHICH HAS BECOME CANCER NOT THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THE COMPANY IS TO ADMINISTER CHEMOTHERAPY AND RADIOTHERAPY TO ADMINISTER FURTHER VIRUS. OTHERWISE EVERY MOMENT A FRESH VIRUS WILL ATTACK TO THE CONSUMER. WHEN THE DISEASE WAS NOT THERE THE SURGERY LIKE DEBARRED OF CONNECTION HAS BEEN DONE BY THE INEFFICIENT DOCTORS (EXECUTIVES) OF THE COMPANY. WHEN THE PATIENT DIED THE COMPANY STARTED TO ADMINISTER NEW THERAPY ON THE DEAD BODY. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT AIRTEL COULD NOT SAVE THE PATIENT WHO HAS HAVING NO DISEASE DUE TO INEFFICIENT SURGEONS THOSE MADE SURGERY WITHOUT ANY DISEASE, WITHOUT ANY TEST AND WITH INEFFICIENT STAFF THE CONSUMER DIED. NOW AT THIS STAGE IT IS PROVED THAT DUE TO NEGLIGENT STAFF THE RELATIONS OF CONSUMER AND AND AIRTEL DETERIORATED. IN PLACE OF GETTING THE CONNECTION OF AIRTEL THE CONSUMER WILL RECOMMEND TO THE OTHER CUSTOMERS AS WELL THAT IF YOU LIKE TO GET SURGERY WITHOUT ANY DISEASE THEN OPT FOR AIRTEL OTHERWISE SAY GOOD BYE TO THEM WHENEVER YOU COME ACROSS SUCH A FRAUD COMPANY. THE LEGAL NOTICE HAS BEEN SERVED TO THE COMPANY. SO DON'T HARASS THE CONSUMER UNNECESSARILY AND KINDLY DON'T MAKE CALLS TO HER, WHATEVER YOU LIKE TO SAY SEND YOUR REMARKS IN WRITING AND DON'T MAKE IRRELEVANT CALLS. AS YOU PEOPLE ARE HARASSING THE CONSUMER WITHOUT ANY CAUSE.

        Dear Airtel Management,

        Myself is Mr. K Nagaraj Adiga, who is having an airtel broadband connection ([protected]) Since last One Month I am trying to Lock my landline to restrict all out going calls, but it is not happening. I have tried all the proceedure told by your customer care executives , but it is not working . I have also asked for the assistance of your local executive, which they told they are not coming to our place to help us.

        I am fed up of your services, I 3 offices, one at UDUPI, another at Bangalore, I have taken airtel BB for Bangalore office also[protected]. But I wont do this mistake for UDUPI, I will go for some other service provider.

        Now kindly tell me how many months/ days/ hours it will take to solve my problem?

          AIRTEL broadband bill is not appropriate.

          I have a 2MBPS broadband connection with number 42040019 , with Rs 1000 rental.
          This is an attempt to let you know the issues that we are facing in customer care.
          On march , the internet didn’t’ work for half a month, I raised a complained and followed up for straight 10 days .
          The complaint I logged, is closed the next day, without fixing the issue. I went to Indiranagar office next day to reopen it, which they promised me have reopened.

          I followed up that complained for next 10 days.

          Now when in April I got the bill for full month, however internet didn’t worked from half a month in march, I raised a complained for prorated bill generation, and only Rs 90 is deducted, as they say the system shows the complained is resolved in 2 days.

          This is gross cheating from airtel part or indiranagar sub branch is cheating there superior. In any case customer is at loss, along with airtel.

            I am Senthil from singapore, we bought airtel prepaid card on month of May 2010 in india, I started to use the card from 12th June 2010 two days later the connection was terminated we dont know the reason so i went to local airtel agency i wonder after receiving their reply that she said this is very very normal and usual in AIRTEL CONNECTION, you are not lucky to get the connection continously and we are not only getting one compliant, everyday receiving these type of complaints, then i dial customer care number one of the lady service provider attend the call she dont know how to explain and not able to tell the answer so she pass the call to her supervisor officer then he also not able to tell the reason the same thing he also asked me to wait for while...............................they dont know the meaning for while...........................after a long time they cut the call......... Really i laugh when i see the airtel advertisement........................

            till the line not activated ......money is in account..............how they executing their business...wonder....Try your best to get it....

Since then my airtel sim is not working and I am not able to use any services. I called Customer Care and they said the no is not registered and my retailer has told me that upon a previous complaint my no. has been duly ported in to airtel.               dear sir

              last year i.e. on 14th November,2010, i was using GPRS services on my mobile phone and while checking reservation status on www.indianrail.gov.in (hardly a page of 100-200Kb) i was charged over 60 rupees. When i registered repeated complaints, i was told by the officials that it was being charged for the net surfing only and denied refund of the above mentioned amount. Later after some days i received a message that my subscription of Internet(costing about Rs.60) is about to end. Then i realised that the money which was deducted from my account in november was this amount of which i was unaware and not told about.

              Recently today (25th May 2011) i received a message wishing me thanks for subscribing to Airtel TV pack and Rs.75 were deducted from my account without confirming the activation. When i called airtel complaint toll free no. 198 then they told me as i was on roaming thus they cannot entertain my request. They further asked me to call on a certain number in bihar to get my solution(on which i was to be charged at Rs.1.50/min to tell them their fault). Let mention that currently i have Rs. 0.86 left in my account and thus unable to call on this number.

              My situations are:
              1) in first situation i had not activated the internet connection but charged for it, in place of the charging it on per kb basis.
              2) No request for activating the Internet TV was given but it was activated.
              3) Why a person in need of help is directed to a phone number that charges his pockets for telling the fault of the operators

              I would like the Consumer forum to help me and get me my balance refunded.
              I will be highly obliged

              Airtel Mobile — Random Activation and charge of unnecessary services

              Dear Sir ,

              I havebeen unnecessarly charged for some Kingfisher Girl Subscription service ,for Rs.5 each time.
              Even I havenot activated it. I get this automatic message of renewal of also. Please Deactivate it.

              Airtel — random unnecessary deductions

              On 7th Feb 2012 , I recharged for my airtel prepaid with INR 395 + INR 22 (STD pack) @ 6.45 PM . The immediate next morning @ about 7.05 AM , I had to make a very important business call , and to my utter surprise my account balance had been cut down to INR 5 , which within an hour or two was brought down even more to 0.08 paise . I repeatedly filed innumerable complaints with the customer care people , visited the head office @ Dharampeth , Nagpur but they never ever reverted or refunded any of my money saying that I have used internet on my phone . I never ever use any internet services on my phone !!!. Who on earth will use 4GB of data overnight . SICK !! after a week of sheer harassment , I had to give up and i re-recharged my account with INR 395 on 20th Feb 2012 @ about 7PM . And they strike me yet again @ 3.10 AM (what a stupidly odd time) with a random deduction of INR 30 in favor of airtel cricket fever which I have never on earth subscribed for .
              Kindly get back to me with a solution for the same .I am really disappointed , rather furious over these airtel-ites .

                Airtel DTH — problem in set top box

                i am residing at charmwood village faridabad.my airtel set top box is not working properly... 5 days has been passed since i've complained for it..my complain no./reference no. is 1924193...but no one has came to fix the problem. i regularly call at the no. [protected] and everytime they assure me that a representative/technician is on the way,but i dont know what's their problem? such an irresponsible behaviour..very bad customer service.

                  Hi,
                  Im a Airtel Mobile subscriber for the past 6 years. Recently I got a 3G activation done by airtel when i Just called for enquiry, They pushed me into getting a 100 Rs plan for 100 MB, I'm using GPRS for the past 3 years and my usage have never crossed 100 MB, I was using it for a while and got to know from my friends that the the 3g Billing is not structured and asked me stop using 3G from airtel to avoid any trouble. Within three days of getting alerted by my friends, I get a SMS from airtel saying that my usage has exceeded the limit and my current usage is for Rs 6637, I was shocked and called Airtel CC right away. When enquired about the same the agent on call told me that my usage as on that date is 229 MB and I would not be getting bill about 6000+, and the alert I received was without discounts and my bill would be close to[protected], I got shocked and asked her to disable the 3G service right away, and she did the same. Now I get a bill from airtel on 9th of June saying that I have to make a payment of whopping Rs 7882. It said the bill that total usage time is 80 mins, when I called CC they said that its for the usage of 510 MB, (Which is untrue and ridiculous). Now i sure that i could not use it for 512 meg in 8 days approx. This is insane that Airtel is trying to make joke out of their users. I have decided not to pay this bill, and when calling CC with respect to this problem all they do is say that they will transfer my call to Billing dept, which never happened, Once I waited even for 45 mins to get to and person from billing which is insane I lost my trust in airtel and They are one foolish company who think they can play with people's money initiating a new service.

                  If airtel if going to disconnect my number or gonna harass me for payment, I would ensure that I take it to the top. And also going write and article about the same issue in India Today.

                  Arrange to issue a Legal Notice to Airtel and intimate them legally about the problem. Unless you issue a legal notice, there is every possibility that you may be held liable for the bill amount.

                    I had requested for change of package on sunday 22nd may 2011. I changed my package to "A la carta pack" using airtel dth website. After request submission I got message it will be changed within 24 hours, but it was not changed. So I called customer care and they told me they will change it. The service request number was 8259339. Next day I got SMS that my issue has been fixed. I checked and I found only free to Air channels are visible ( ie DD channels). I called again customer care and told them I don't see any of the channel I selected in "A la carta pack" they told me they can't solve my problem and directed me to send an email about the issue to [protected]@airtel.in.

                    I sent email three emails in two days but there was no response. I'm getting blank calls from [protected] which I pick up and no one speaks.

                    Today 25th May 2011, time 1:30 PM and still i have not received any message or call to resolve the issue.

                    Please try to resolve my problem.

                        My mob no is [protected].I had recharge the same on 24/05/2011 at 07:51 PM and got a talktime of Rs 87/-(total 87+04=91/-,Rs 4 was previous bal) vide Trans ID[protected].At 0800PM when i send one sms of Rs 3/- my balance was Rs 58/- only.This not first time,Airtel is doing this type of business with me science last 2/3 months.198/121(compl cell /cus care) are another bogas dept of Airtel.They will simply tell"sir,technical up-gradation is going on, pl call later" or your call will cut in between after listening you some EVR instruction for 5/6 minutes.This my advice to all INDIANS pl d'nt take connection of Airtel,your mental peace wil be disturb.

                        I have activated GPRS on 27 Jul 08 at 1230pm. They deducted Rs.30 at 1:30pm and got message Rs.14.99 is deducted for ur last VAS download. Through out the day no service was available. I was able to access the GPRS from 11:00 am on 28 Jul onwards. Same thing has happed till 30 Jul 08 and no action from Airtel other than a refund of Rs 15, eventhough I complained about it so many times.
                        Reducing balace
                        They deducted Rs.30 last week as coller tune & Rs 15 against deducted on 14.07.2009 saying caller tune activated. But caller tune already I have discunnected. Please take necessary steps to reimburse my amount.
                        I got a SMS from AIRTEL on 30/08/2009 matter containing "You are important to us ! We offer you Fullest Talktime on all topup recharges for 90 days!! Extra TT will be credited in 48hrs of recharge. Happy Recharging". After getting this SMS I got facilitated 2-3 times of full talk time. But, on 15/09/2009 I recharged Rs. 150.00 and got only Rs. 135.99 talk values. Till now I complained several times. But, I am getting only assurance of "Sorry, please wait 24hrs/48hrs". This is really a typical harassment.

Today I was surfing in my mobile and when we finished our work then one message come to my mobile and this message is " Thanku for subscribing Game Zone and your balance is deducted from Rs. 99". I am surprising how the co. do such type of act and I am not understanding why the co. deduct my balance when we didn't subscrible any game zone. So kindly refund my money in to our account and hope co. again do not work like this.

                        for this types of complaints just send a mail to the nodal officer of the Airtel.
                        Once they got any written complaints they takes necessary actions.
                        All customer care representatives are fools they don't know anything and they also don't have any authorities. They are paid for making fool to the customers...

                        So mark a mail to the nodal officer of the Airtel.

                          I am writing this mail in a capacity of a customer and I held high regards for Airtel prior to the experience I had since I have applied for a Broadband connection on 19th May 2011.
                          I have filled the form for broadband connection on 19th May 2011. And i was promised that the connection would be installed by 21st i.e. Saturday but no one came for installation.
                          I was in constant touch with your sales person Mr. Piyush Saxena whose email id is piyush1.[protected]@airtel.in and his mobile number is [protected]. He committed to me that the connection would be installed by Saturday i.e. 21st May 2011. But nothing happened on that day.
                          I gave him a call on Sunday morning i.e. 22nd May 2011 and he assured me that the connection would be installed by Sunday evening. In afternoon 2 guys from Airtel came and did the wiring for the connection and confirmed that the engineer would be coming to install the switch but no one came.

                          Next day i.e. Monday Mr. Piyush said that there were some technical issues that’s why my request cannot be forwarded so he will get the installation done by evening 5 pm. But to no surprise nothing happened and after that Mr. Piyush has stopped responding to my calls and messages. He has not reverted to me on this till now.
                          I have kept all the messages from Mr. Piyush for reference for further action.
                          Today i.e. 24th May 2011 I got a call in the morning at 11:14 am from landline number: - [protected] and I was told that engineer will be coming to install the connection and Rs 1500 is to be paid to the engineer towards Wi Fi modem. But again to no surprise no one came.
                          Today at 8 pm i called up your customer care at number [protected] the call was received by Mr. Joy he apologized for the inconvenience and confirmed that the connection will be installed by tomorrow i.e. 25th May 2011. But my call got dropped so I was not able to speak to him.

                          I have again called up your customer care and this time Mr. Aditya answered the call and he confirmed that my DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFUCULTIES my connection will be installed latest by 29th May 2011 again my call was dropped.
                          On again calling this time it was Mr. Adnan he was very smart as he didn’t have answer to my query so he said OUR SYSTEM ARE UNDER UPGRADATION SO HE CANT CHECK ANYTHING SO CALL AFTER 1 hour.

                          I again tried your customer care this time it was Mr. Mayank he was so irritated by my complaint that he warned me in threatning way stating that i will disconnect your call if you keep complaining and he said that due to TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES IN DP YOUR CONNECTION WILL NOT BE INSTALLED AND WE WILL RETURN YOUR MONEY IN 21 DAYS. Then the call was transferred to Mr. Sanjeev he repeated the same thing.

                          I just want to know that is this the customer service AIRTEL is providing to his customers. 5 People giving me 5 different versions.

                          Why i have to chase people to get my thing done. THIS IS HIGHLY UNPROFFESSIONAL ATTITUDE. Its not the matter of 500 Rs. but its the matter of mis commitment. I have all the messages with me which states that “Thank you for choosing Airtel Broadband. Your Request is being processed and we will revert to you in 48hrs post ascertaining the TECHNICAL Feasibility. “And I get a message after that to keep the all the documents ready for your sales guy.

                          I would require a Solution to this ASAP.

                            My mobile no is 9oo4802845 with a prepaid connection. I have never ever told Airtel to activate sms alert from [protected] "Dictionary on mobile service". But Airtel itself started the service without my permission and deducts money for my prepaid balance.
                            Airtel "MUST" ask first to start the service as well as to keep the provision to "unscribe the service" if not required. This is a kind of LOOT from Airtel. This should be stopped immediately.
                            Please stop this soon and add the deducted amount back into my balance.

I GOT DTH HD RECEIVER AND I AM WATCHING THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL HD BEFORE I MADE REQUEST. I MADE SEVERAL CALLS TO THE TOLL FREE NO AND I MADE REQUEST TO ADD HD CHANNELS. BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.
                              RECENTLY, ON MAY 10 I MADE COMPLAINT THROUGH THIS CONSUMER FORUM. AFTER, THAT I USED TO RECEIVE CALLS FROM THE HEAD QTRS OF THE COMPANY (DELHI) STATING THAT THEY ARE SENDING A TECHNICIAN TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. BUT NO TECHNICIAN HAS NOT COME TILL NOW.
                              THE STAFF OF THE HEAD QTRS OF THE COMPANY IS TAKING MUCH CARE ABOUT PURSUING THE PROBLEM AT DELHI LEVEL. BUT, HERE THE LOCAL STAFF OF THE COMPANY I.E. AREA MANAGER AND OTHER STAFF WHO ARE WORKING IN VISAKHAPATNAM ARE USE LESS FELLOWS AND THEY ARE SIMPLY TAKING THE MONEY FROM THE COMPANY WITHOUT WORKING. I CAME TO KNOW THROUGH MY FRIENDS THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED BY GIVING BRIBE TO THE TECHNICIANS.

                              Consequent on receiving of my concern listed on 24 May 2011, the Airtel Presence (Airtel Customer Service Team) is on the work i.e. to arrange to add HD Channels. 2 weeks has passed but, the problem still remain.
                              Mr. Naveen, one of the top official also promised me to solve this problem but no action has been taken till now. The work of Add HD Channels is not a big problem, eventhough a simple work did not arrange to solve. Mr. Naveen should feel a shame for not keeping his promise. I feel local authorities and other service team members are taking salaries from the company without doing proper work in time.
                              Mr. Vaibhav one of the member of Airtel Services from Delhi is taking much care and pursing the problem.
                              Higher officials should concentrate this lapse and penalyse the incumbents who are responsible.
                              I want to wait for one week to solve this problem, other wise I will take this issue to the media and top officials.

                                I am facing issues with airtel customer care executives often, they don't respond to your queries properly, worse thing they do is put your call on hold and simply disconnect after some time. This has happened to me not once or twice. This is how they behave if you call to Airtel customer care from Bangalore atleast. They record your call for "quality monitoring pupose", I doubt is there someone reviewing these calls.

                                I called up Airtel Customer Care twice on 24/5/2011, both the times they put my call on hold for 5 mins or so and hung up after some time (for this they are charging 50 ps per min). My complaint was regarding the GPRS plan. I am using 98 rupees plan which has one month GPRS connectivity with 2GB download (I know that some prepaid customers are getting the same plan for 65 rupees or so). My Rs 98 GPRS plan got expired on 23/05/2011 it didn't renew itself because there was no sufficient balance. So I thought of recharging next morning.But I got a bad surprise next morning - a message from Airtel telling you have subscribed for rs 19 GPRS plan for 3 days and it will be autorenewed. That was utter nonsense, how can they activate this plan by there own without consulting me.. I called cutomer care for this reason and the treatment I got from customer care was horrible..

                                I even thought of cancelling the connection, but I know my friend who is struggling to get the number portability done.

                                Please provide a soution for my problem and compensate my loses.

                                    My Airtel mobile No. is [protected], i have been facing the problem of no network at home since 15th May 11. i have given the complaint on 16th on airtel customer care and they did not provide a compalaint number to me and on 21st May 11, after repetitive calls they gave me a complaint No. [protected] and then on 23rd May 11, i received a message from airtel stating my complaint is resolved although they did not resolve it nor they have communicated with me.
                                    when i again called up they are saying that there is a problem with the handset although i have the network in all other areas. (I have 4 airtel numbers at home and none of them are working at home)
                                    Further, i get the network in my building compound but no network on any of the floors of my building even on the 1st floor although till 15th May 11, the network was very good but iam facing the problem now.
                                    Also, on many occasions customer care executive had disconnected my call (3-4 times) when asked about my status.

                                      i have a airtel digital tv connection since last 10 days i m facing the problem of "no signal" and have comlained on their toll free help line number but no action has been taken i've complained them more than 5 times but daily they ask me for 24 hrs time but no enggineer comes on asking them they lodge a fresh complain keeping the previous complain unattended plzz look into the matter.

                                        Dear Airtel,
                                        I have nver subscribed Hot Joks SMS still airtel sending me that joks and deducted my 10 Rs.

                                        I would like to unsubscribe this facility.
                                        Write to the Economic Times. Let investors know this company is a SCAM.

                                        I am receiving "Pick up line" SMS messages every day from 54542 everyday "WITHOUT SUBSCRIBING" for. And Rs.1 is deducted from my pre-paid amount. "PLEASE STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY".
