I am tanmoy chatterjee forom past five years i m useing Airtel sim card,recently i went to cacutta for a vacation i kept my mobile there with my wife & i came back to Goa,almost one week back see tried to call me from her cell but its not going through some how when i call i came to about the same,i contact customar care they said within four hours time your problem will be resolve,but after seven days also nothing happens,finally i call yesterday (18.5.11)for the same but now they saying go to local Airtel office they will solve the problem..........i just want to know what kind of service it is? what is the use to take mobile .my mobile no is [protected] .........kindly rectify the problem as earliest.

    today 1;30pm I have received unwanted call from the airtel No. [protected] on the pretext that he is calling from Airtel Customer care centre. He is gathering information about name, address,salary,annual income,bank a/c, etc. from our mobile No.[protected] I want that the owner of this cell may be made known to me and he may also be sacked from the Airtel Company and his connection may be cancelled forthwith. sk tomar

      I have purchased a Airtel Digital and my consumer no is [protected]. Last week i have contacted the customer care for registering a compliant saying voice output problem. I got a compliant number from airtel saying the problem will be resolved in a days time. But the call was closed on the same day saying that problem resolved without resolviing the issue. I was surprised and called the customer call and registered a complaiant again. Like same way all my compliants (total 5 complaints) was been closed without attending the problem.

      i want to bring in ur notice the poor standards of customer dealing services o[censored]r company.

      we bought airtel digital tv connection by the name of my father mr s.k garg (customer id no. [protected])

      we 've been facing problems wth the set top box fr over a wk nw.the problem is that it fails to turn on most of the times. however since yesterday it has stopped working completely.

      we lodged a complaint wth ur customer care executive yesterday evening at 5 nd wre told that one o[censored]r engineers wud b calling within n hour or so...The call came only in the morning nd since i ws busy i gave ur executive another contact no. however he never called there. today at 3 in the afternoon i called up again to inquire into my complaint status nd again i ws reassured of getting the matters resolved within an hours time. It is 8 in the evening nw nd i ve recieved no response frm any engineer or executive frm ur syd.

      this is highly disappointing nd unexpected frm a company wth such high standards in customer satisfaction nd public dealing
      i only hope that the matter wud be looked into nd resolved as soon as possible..

      My Customer Id no is [protected] (Airtel Digital TV). Those who are reading this, would request you not to buy Airtel Digital TV. Believe me it has the most pathetic Customer Service. It is very difficult to get through & even i[censored] are able to they will keep u on hold & eventually disconnect ur call. I have no respect for their knowledge about the process & trouble shooting. They will ask u to run through weird processes will ask u to press the cursor & OK buttons (which is quite impossible) simultaneously for 10-15 secs, they will ask u to unplug the power source etc. They are never able to give u a permanent solution to ur problem for which I had to miss the World Cup Final Match. Such a poor support network is obviously not expected from AIRTEL. Therefore guys would request you all (those who are planning to buy a dish tv network) plzzz plzzz plzzzzz do not buy AIRTEL. ur life will be hell.
      I AM A CUSTOMER OF YOUR AIRTEL DIGITAL COMPANY FROM LAST 2 YEARS BUT NOT SATIESFIED WITH YOUR SERVICES. 6MONTHS BACK I LOGGED A COMPLAINT IN YOUR CUSTOMER CARE THAT OUR TV VOLUME BECOMES VERY SLOW WHILE USING YOUR DIGITAL TV (ON 80% IT BECOMES AUDIBLE) BUT ON LOCAL CABLE CONNECTION IT GOES SMOOTH. AT THAT TIME WE HAD NOT RECIEVED ANY POSITIVE RESPONSE FROM YOUR SIDE SO WE DISCONTINUED THAT. NOW AGAIN WE RECHARGED IT BY TODAY ITSELF (RS-250) AND AGAIN WE ENCOUNTERING THE SAME PROBLEM AND CALLED UP CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY SAID WAIT FOR 1/2 HOUR AND NEEDFUL WILL DONE. BUT SORRY TO SAY THE SERVICES ARE VERY PATHETIC AND FINALY WE ARE PLANNING TO DROP YOUR SERVICES.

      I want to escalate this complaint to the highest level possible.

      I had recently moved to my new apartment in Nov 1 and had shifted my Airtel Digital TV to the new address. From the day one onwards, there were issues in the connection where I was getting B001 error for select channels. I had notified this issue on the same day to the technician named “Murugan” his phone number is . Ever since I had lodged multiple complaints and the issue never got resolved.

      There were many times your technician promised to come at a particular time and never showed up. I had even postponed my office going time expecting your technicians. However, they would call back after 3-4 hours of the promised time. I had taken an advance rental plan of 12 months ( Mega 12 HD 12M ADV Rent Sep-12) @ Rs. 5200 on 12th of Nov and have not been very fortunate to use your service.

      Despite multiple escalations, I have not seen any response from your side.

      Now when I decided to cancel the service, I have been told that I’ll not get any of the refund amount I had paid towards the advance rental plan! Now what kind of logic is that? You don’t give me a proper service first, and you take away all my money! Now your customer service guys are also not answering to queries! This is completely ridiculous!

      You either give me money back or give me a proper service and rectify the issues at the earliest!

      Guys, whoever, is planning to buy a Airtel Digital TV, please refrain from it!! What they say is true "Jo tera hai who mera hai and jo mera hai wo mera". They only intend to take from us and not giving us anything in return! Please refrain from these modern day Dacoits!

        I had an Airtel fixed line connection no. [protected] till Nov 2010. I asked for its discontinuation on 26 Nov and was told that the needful will be done in 5 days. I kept on receiving your calls but the number was not discontinued till 12 Dec. On 12 Dec I was told that i have accepted to keep the connection though I couldnt remember giving such an approval. I again asked to remove my connection. I again got your calls on every alternate day and then they stopped. Again in Jan 2011 I wrote a mail to discontinue my connection and again got a few calls and a reference number. I kept on getting the bills too though I was not using the phone anymore.
        After some days i got a call from Airtel saying that my bill has been wavered off and phone will be discontinued. Somewhere in April i got a call asking whether i have submitted my modem back to Airtel. They said they will send their representative to collect the same, though no one came.
        Now I am getting some calls from Airtel saying i have Rs.1200 bill due and cancellation will follow as soon as I submit the bill. They were trying to finesse me to pay the amount and not go to consumer forum saying that "it is just 1200 only" and "do u have the time to go to consumer forum". I don't know what kind of marketing strategy are they following but it is no way consumer friendly.
        If this issue is not resolved within 5 "working days" I will have to take some action

          dear sir
          due to connectivity problem I recently applied for number portability to transfer my connexion whereabouts from airtel to Vodafone on 28th March this year.
          airtel had sent the unique portability no on the same day bearing no AK861282 with the expiry date,12/04/2011.
          on the same day I fulfilled all the formalities to have the Vodafone connexion.
          to my utter astonishment I found airtel didn't forward any grant to Vodafone.
          the conspicuous result is here: I didn't get vodafone with the same number.
          when contacted, the cce redirected me to do the procedure once again .so I applied and my new u p id is AK585658 and the expiry date is 27/05/2011.
          sir,i do need your sincere attention into this matter.as a whole sale medicine distributor mobile connectivity is my priority.

          Airtel Prepaid — Lifetime not done

          My mobile no [protected] .

          18 th april 2009 saturday air tel send me a sms that if i have recharge with Rs. 48 then my no is coverted in lifetime validity in 72 hrs. I have recherge my mobile with Rs. 48 on the same day i.e 18th april 2009 but till the date airtel does not convert my validity please help me.

          I have contact Airtel Help line but result is nill till the date.

            Without verifying my address, they are saying my address verification is negative.
            You can understand what they are doing by the conversations i had with them.
            When once i called customer care, they said we don't log verification date and time.
            Other time i called customer care, they told they came for verification on 7th May, 2011.
            When i called nodal officer, he said they came for verification on 9th May, 2011.

            This is how, Airtel's pathetic service is.

            Airtel Mobile Connection — Disconnect without any intimation

            Reg. Mobile no. [protected].

            I have bought this connection on 16th May, 2008 and I have already submitted ID Proof and Address proof alongwith registration form. And after a week Airtel companies executive has also collected again ID proof and Address proof and made verification. and on Monday 02nd of June, 2008 I have received Bill of this connection and a complantory letter from the Airtel company.
            But, from tuesday 3rd of June, 2008 I try to call on this number (At residence). Than I have been getting a message " This number dosen't exist".
            and Today 05th day of June, 2008, When I wanted to know about problem from its customer care number [protected] & 121 Than they told me, We unable to access this number and Its already disconnection and Its not allotted and you may go at your nearest outlet from where you have bought it.

            Airtel Mobile Connection — Charging my Credit Card after two months of service discontinued

            I have discontinued my airtel mobile connection taken in Bangalore in the month of June'08 as I got transferred to Mumbai, Subsequently I have checked that the mobile no is not active, but to my surprise I found that Airtel has charged in to my credit card account through auto debit facility in the month of July and August.
            I have written a mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com as I couldnot contact customer service over phone, but I have not received any information on what they are charging my credit card and not even received any confirmation for discontinuing auto debit facility as it was done through standing instruction to Bank the autodebit facility has to be stopped by airtel.

            Airtel Mobile Connection — Persistent verification problems and resultant trauma

            I have taken an Airtel Mobile Connection (Pre-Paid) bearing number [protected] during the month of July 2008 from Nasik after duly submitting all the required documents as prescribed by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.

            I had received verification calls from Airtel and have provided the details as required by the Verification Agency. Later I received a string of SMS from Airtel on 5.8.2008, 6.8.2008, 7.8.2008, asking me to resubmit the required documents stating that my verification has been unsuccessful. Although I had taken the trouble to resubmit the documents, the Airtel services to my number were cut for almost a week. I am not a native of Nasik and am facing problems in accessing the Airtel Relationship Center too. After persistently requesting the sales agency from where I had bought the SIM, my services were restored.

            On 21.8.2008, I received an SMS from Airtel saying I would receive a verification call. I did receive the verification call and provided the required details. Again on 25.8.2008, I received an SMS from Airtel saying I would receive a verification call. This time too, I received the verification call and provided the required details.

            Yesterday, 16.10.2008, I received an SMS yet again saying that my verification has been unsuccessful and that I am required to resubmit the documents another time. I had contacted the Customer Care at 1600 hours (Mr. Praveen) again to report the difficulties I am facing. But I was told to resubmit my documents to ensure uninterrupted service.

            I am constantly put at unease by the SMS and verification call from Airtel. Also at this juncture, I would like to mention that Airtel has been activating Chat and other services that I have not subscribed to and charging tariff from my talk-time balance for the services I have never used nor intended to use. Constant follow up ensured that the amount debited from my balance was credited. After verifying with the Customer care officer, I had also sent an SMS to activate “Do not Disturb” to which I had received an SMS stating “You have not been registered in NDNC category”. I have been receiving promotional calls and SMS which are unwarranted.

            I had even bought a Reliance Mobile Connection owing to the fact that I am constantly troubled by Airtel and its services. Also adequate Airtel network coverage is not available in certain areas and most acquaintances have reported that my number is unreachable most of the time.

            I still am retaining the Airtel Connection since I have given this number to innumerable friends and acquaintances of mine, most whom are in South India and abroad and it would be hard to retrace and provide another new number to everybody.

            I am thoroughly traumatized and disturbed by the services of Airtel.

            I hereby request you to provide respite from these troubles I have been facing. I would be most grateful if the services are set right.

            I AM RECEIVING A MESSAGE FROM STAR OF THE MONTH SERVICE AFTER EVERY TWO OR THREE DAYS AND I HAVE BEEN INTIMATED THAT YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED RS. 10 FOR SEVEN DAYS FOR PROVIDING ME THE SERVICES OF START OF THE MONTH.

            BUT SIR SORRY TO WRITE I HAVE NEVER REQUESTED FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE. KINDLY STOP SENDING ME THIS MESSAGE AND DEDUCTING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT.

KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND RESOLVE MY PROBLEM AS I AM LOOSING MONEY DAY BY DAY.

            Airtel Mobile Connection — careless customer care

            Respected There,

            My team and me woking in a project at IIT kharagpur. We have taken postpaid corporate connection from Airtel. We work for Wipro and the mobile bill is paid by our company. Since we started our project at IIT Kharagpur we experiencing horrible network connection. Even after repeated complain at customer care it seems airtel is least bothered on paying any sort of attention to this problem. Currently from 14 th of September we are not getting any network. We would request to you look into this and help us in this regards..

            Airtel Mobile Connection — Unnecessary charged of WeeklySub Subscription without my consent

            Today I got a SMS from "AirtelLive (AL) 54321 at 09:15:56 dated 28.09.2009" for deduction of subscription service from Airtel of renewal for WeeklySubscription service, WHICH I HAD NEVER APPLIED OR REQUESTED FOR.

            Earlier also many times I had complained that the company is charging for the services of anything which i am not using or demand till date FOR MMS AND OTHER OFFERS.

            REQUESTED TO NOT ADD ANY UNNECESSARY CHARGES FROM CUSTOMER,,,,,,,,,,,,,,IT WILL RUIN YOUR COMPANY NAME TOO IN THE MARKET..........

            Airtel Mobile Connection — unwanted sms

            I am getting sms jokes from 55382 in my mobile no. [protected], perhaps it has been subscribed unknowingly by kids. I would like to discontinue this service with immediate effect.
            I am also facing same problem, When i call to cc they tell me your phone will be activated in 24 hur. but after 72 hurs. it is still not working. no staff is taking responsibility to get my work done . so now i am also thinking to take an actoin against Airtel company.

            Dear Sir,
            I would like to complain against Airtel Customer Care services for npt solving my problem and keeping me on hold and my complains no action was taken. I took airtel sim card to get better services(phone line and internet services) From day one i was not able to reach any of customer care for any guidance i needed. Every time i called them my phone was put on electronic messege ""please dial 121 to get..." First of all i wanted to complain for very frequent disconnection of internet on my phone.Second complain is 3G s not working on my phone. When i choose dual mode in network connection,it says i dont have 3G service and when i select 3G option my phone line is disrupted. Third complain is from today morning my account is getting deducted, Evrry minute i get the messege that sms/call cost either 30 piase,60 paisa etc. I didnt bother much because it was some paisa,but last messege deducted 43 rupees,this is too much. U can imagine,every minute if it deducts 30 or 60 paisa,how much it might have deducted till now. And once 43 rupees.To whom should i complain to????I cant get through121....by luck i could get through it 4 to 5 times today and everytime i was put on hold by customer care,they cannot even communicate with us in proper English and when i tell them to transfer my call to their supervisor,they just put me on hold and disappear. What should i do with my complains???THis type of service they provide us??? My phone number is [protected]. I did try to reach customer care from other airtel mobile phone,they did promise me to check my problems,but i didnt recive any call or any response from any of airtel customer care...

            Please suggest me what to do with this connection now? Should i swtich to other service providers????

            I contacted everyone in Airtel, final conclusion they had given is "There is no fault from Airtel". If you want to continue Re-Apply. My mobile no is [protected].
            This is the kind of service.
            Another pathetic service by Airtel.

            When i contacted everyone in airtel, they asked me to pay the outstanding amount and re-apply for new connection.

            I had gone to Shapeinn Televenture, Airtel Relationship Center, S.V.Road, Malad West, Mumbai-64, stand in a Queue for 1hr and paid my outstanding amount by cash on 25th May 2011, 12:05PM. Till now, the amount didn't got credited.

            This is really pathetic and worst service.
            When we contact customer care, they will say it is Relationship Center's problem, so contact them. When we go to relationship center, they say it is system problem, go and contact customer care.

            Even, the same happened with my other Airtel No in bangalore, [protected]. I submitted all required documents, after 2 weeks, airtel barred all my outgoing and said, you haven't submitted the documents. It is not our problem, go and check in the relationship center where you submitted documents.
            Hello there,
            This is to my utmost dissatisfaction that my sim is not yet activated. I had gone to Shapeinn Televenture, Airtel Relationship Center, S.V.Road, Malad West, Mumbai-64, on 28th May and got an micro sim issued for the same number. The customer care representative assured that the sim will be activated within 24 hours (normally i dont think so much time is required, in general it is done on real time or at max 4 hours), though not satisfied with the time i agreed. Next day i.e. 29th May the sim was still not activated till 1 o clock, and i again went to the customer care and asked the reason. They said that they have to mail and that too will not happen today as it was sunday so he said that it will get activated latest by monday morning. Its now 8.00 clock (30th May) in the evening and it is still not activated. When called the customer care, it said that i have to go to the galary. My job timing is 10-7, which normally extends to 7.30 - 8 i will probably not get anytime to visit it at least for the weekdays.

            Really disapointed with the service and that too being an airtel customer for more than 3 years, and i think the customer care is not at all responsive to the customers and it is not the first time, in recent times i have faced such type of issues too, no really sure to continue with the service.

            Once again Airtel proved that their service is worst.

            On June 1st 10pm, they barred my out going.
            1) I called customer care at 10:30pm and asked why my out going is barred, he replied that system is down call after 2hrs. Then i asked customer care, i have to wake up till midnight 1'o clock and call, then he replied yes. While i am asking the question, he cut down the call.
            2) After half-an-hour, i called customer care again and then asked the reason, he replied address verification is negative, then i asked what is the reason, he said, i don't have information.
            3) Today (June 2nd) morning again i called customer care and asked the reason, he also said i don't have information.
            Not the end of the worst service:

            1) I got a call from Airtel for verification. The guy asked me Date of Birth i answered, then he said my system is getting updated will call you after sometime.
            Before calling the guy doesn't know his system is getting updated?

            2) When i had taken connection, i asked for one plan and they had given me another plan. It is more than 10 days, i mailed, called customer care, done everything. Till now no change in the bill plan.

            3) Customer care people doesn't know Corporate connection plans, then whom to contact for that?

              Dear Sir,

              We have asked for cancellation of fixedline [protected] on 14/2/2011. The same has not been cancelled till now.
              We have been getting the calls from the service provider on daily basis for bill payments. We even told them we shall clear the bills for all the call charges only & not monthly rentals as we have asked for cancellation three months back. The customer care have agreed for settlements of bills minus rentals.

              But again today they have asked for bill payments in which they have included the rentals.

              Please resolve this issue at the earliest. It has become a torture to us from the service provider as we are getting the calls on regular basis daily & the problem is still unresolved.

              I hope that consumer forum will look into the matter & will provide the solution for us.

                dear sir,
                i have a prepaid mobile connection no [protected] in which i have activated gprs data plan of Rs. 98/2GB valid upto 18th may 2011.
                i used the gprs connection on 18-05-11 at 8:35 pm around for approx 10 minutes and i got a flash msg that Rs. 21/- has been charged from my balance and just after that again more than Rs. 33/- has been deducted from my account balance. while on other side my data a/c balance is showing 900 Mb approx left. airtel has deducted my whole a/c balance of Rs 55/- and i left only 0.17 Rs. with my a/c.
                i contacted at 09:10 pm on balance deduction complaint helpline no. 198, but they put me on hold saying that they are connecting me to some senior person and after 13 minutes, customer care executive cut the line. after thet even nobody is picking up my call on 198 till now.
                this is not the first time airtel is doing that but i know four another persons also personally, who suffered from the same problem of not picking up the customer care no. from the subscriber and then they switched to another service provider.
                very soon the day will come when the airtel will remain with its employees only. because no one is here to listen the customer's issue here.

                Myself Mrs.Sushmita .C would hereby like to bring to the notice of the concerned authority that since last month Airtel has been deducting Rs.5 each day for 5 days from my prepaid account for nothing that is within my knowledge and when I tried repeatedly to contact the customer care, my line was disconnected whenever I was on the verge of getting a connection to a customer service executive,thereafter I lodged a complaint with the nearest Airtel service centre and for 10 to 15 days it stopped,today,in the evening once more Rs.10 was deducted from my account and when my husband talked to the customer service executive she replied that an upgradatiopn programme was going on,hence she could do nothing,same has happened with my Father who is also an Airtel customer,my husband has been an Airtel subscriber even before Airtel was launched as a company in the Indian market,then it was known as Spice;most of my family members are Airtel customers and this is what we get for our long term relationship with the company;so please suggest what should I do in this regard.
                I've been complaining about the same issue.
                airtel has sucked me to death.
                I face the very same problem.one time it deducted around Rs.80, n again Rs. 30.
                Technically incompetent they dont even receive complains at 198.
                Is not there any legal recourse against this fraud company????
                the last 5 details of deducted amount from my prepaid a/c and dates are written below:

                1). Rs. 24.40 /- on dated[protected] at 9:05 pm
                2). Rs. 0.30/- on dated[protected] at 08:54 pm
                3). Rs. 33.30 /- on dated[protected] at 8:54 pm
                4). Rs. 21.60/- on dated[protected] at 08:44 pm
                5). Rs. 0.30 /- on dated[protected] at 7:54 pm.

                total Rs. 79.90 /- has been deducted from my a/c balance for gprs data while Rs.98/2GB data plan was activated at that time and some 900mb was showing left in my account.
                yesterday i got one phone call from airtel saying that we will refund the amount soon. but till yet it is not refunded. lets see...

                  I am a student studying outside India currently. Since I will be coming back to India after studies , I wanted to retain my old airtel number and hence was adding currency to my number every year to retain validity. Being outside India, I dont receive or make calls from this number, nor do I sms anyone. Since September 2009, airtel has been activating/deactivating caller tunes at their will(even though I had deactivated caller tunes before September 2009) and deduct amount everytime they activate the caller tune and take monthly rentals too. When I call the customer care, they tell me that it has been activated only once in March 2011. However, when I mailed them in March 2010, one of the customer care people has mailed me with the following details,
                  Deactivation dates Activation date Charges taken
                  17/2/10 8/3/10 Rs.45
                  15/3/10 15/3/10 Rs.45
                  27/3/10 27/3/10 Rs.45
                  29/3/10 30/3/10 Rs.45

                  This shows deactivation and activation within 24 hrs! And they tell me there is no option for reimbursement for the mistake they have done. Also in March 2010 , they had promised me that my caller tune will not be activated again on my number without consent. However, they have been continuing the same trick again. Seems like they loot people whenever and however possible.

                  Caller tunes in my prepaid card was activated without my knowledge. Previously also some airtel marketing person tried to cheat me by forcefully trying to convince me for activation of caller tunes on my card.

                  my airtel mobile no. is [protected]. last year when my hello tunes on my phone was activated automatically, i contacted austomer care and registered myself for DO NOT DISTURB ME.despite dis hello tunes were activated and airtel was deducting monthly charges.in April 2008, i contacted customer care and asked for the deactivation of hello tunes. i received a message for deactivation but in the month of may, after i recharged my account, they deducted monthly rent for three months for hello tunes.wen i contacted customer care, they agrred for the refund of amount and make a promise for refund within 24 hours.nothing happend.again and again I contacted customer care but no satisfactory reply. I feel cheated. please help me.

                  Airtel Prepaid — Unapproved Deduction of Balance

                  My mobile number is [protected] (Airtel) I have been using this connection for last three years.

                  SUMMARY:
                  My complete balance is getting deducted everytime I recharge. I get a message from AD-54321 saying "Thanks for downloading ChopperRescue from Airtel. You have been charged Rs. 40. Join GamesClub at http://gclub.in" (Received at 21:45 on 20.10.2010) I NEVER downloaded any such game or anything paid for that matter over the net. NO APPROVAL for any such transaction was taken from me before the deduction. I am too afraid to recharge my phone now because all the money gets deducted right after I do so!

                  I recently purchased a GPRS enabled phone (Nokia C3) And there On which I access the basic Sites like facebook and gmail from which I access the free content. I never accessed GClub.in. I don't even know what is that. On 19th January, I had Rs. 8 on my balance and then out of the blue I get a similar message as stated above saying Rs. 10 has been deducted (Received at 12:31, on 19.10.2010). I ignored it for some reason for it was a huge amount and I received the message right after some browsing I did.

                  Today on 20th I just went to Facebook and Gmail and thats it in the morning. In the evening at around 8.00pm I recharged my phone with Rs. 50 and after a few calls my balance was Rs. 41. Now at 9.30pm I again get a message from AD-54321 that I stated above saying they deducted Rs. 40 from my balance!!!

                  I am too afraid to recharge my phone now. What if it keeps deducting ALL my balance everytime. I have been using this number for such a long time I cannot even afford to change it so suddenly. My work and my personal connectivity is severely getting affected.

                        I have been using airtel broadband since 3 years but now it has become really difficult for me to continue. my landline is not working since last 45 days and my internet is not working since 1 month. Everytime i put a complaint i get a mesaage that my concern has been resolved but no one even comes to check, i really wonder how the company comes to a resolution without even a visit. finally i put a request for connection closure on 15th may(req no.[protected] and today when i checked the status it said the request has been closed when no one has even contacted me.                         There are some local guys who look after complaints, i have trying to call them since 1 month but they do not respond. I would like to add that i have always been very happy with airtel but things have changed now. i am totally fed up.
                        Please help me get rid of this connection.

They informed that porting will be completed by 13th May,2011 at 10pm. But number was not migrated to Airtel. I called aircel customer care and they said that they have granted the porting from their end and there's problem from airtel end. Airtel customer care executives have taken many complaints. One of the complaint number is : CDAMN[protected]. They said that porting will be completed by 16th Nite. But till now the problem was not solved. Please check and update me about the status of my complaint and resolve my issue at the earliest as I am a AC mechanic and I am losing my business as my customers are unable to reach me on my number.                               On my above phone, I was neither able to receive nor make calls from 4th to 24th February 2011. During this period, I was without a mobile phone connection. Daily I made a number of complaints to the Customer Care Centre, the Nodal Officer and the Appellant Authority, but nothing was done to put the phone right. All these complaints were made from my landline phone, incurring expenses amounting to Rs.595.51 on all these phone calls. I talked to Anuradha Ref.                                 Complaint under:Telecom Consumers Protection and Redressal of
                                Grievances Regulations, 2007 (3 of 2007) dated 4.5.2007]

                                Dear Sir,

                                For the last three weeks I have been repeatedly complaining by e-mail & telephonic calls that under the 2 Mbps UNLIMITED scheme I am not getting more than 1.2 Mbps download speed.
                                Test reports of reliable sites (Your Broadband Speed Test Site: speed.tn.airtelbroadband.in is down) done at various times from 4AM to 11 PM gave the same results. The variation in speed was from 500Kbps to 1120 Kbps i.e 25% to 55% of the CONTRACTED Speed.

                                While I was repeatedly doing the above I get a warning mail from Airtel that I have downloaded over 16GB (80% of the FUP ceiling of 20 GB & the speed would be truncated to 8% of 2 Mbps i.e. 250Kbps after hitting 20 GB)

                                I highlighted this absurd notice to you all. On one hand you are never delivering 2 Mbps but on the other hand , very high handedly, cutting the speed to 8% of the contracted with the alacrity of a guillotine. HOW FAIR IS THIS ? My connection is in the 2 Mbps UNLIMITED category with the FUP rider (fairness of which is another story of lobbies getting better of the individual customer rights)- YOU NEVER KEEP YOUR PROMISE OF 2 Mbps BUT HAVE NO SECOND THOUGHT IN REDUCING THE SPEED AFTER the 20GB notional limit in the UNLIMITED connection?

                                I DEMAND RESTORATION OF NORMAL SPEED (I am not saying 2 Mbps because that is a chimera of AIRTELs sales pitch and eminently qualifies as unethical practice).

                                  On dt. 14th May 2011 when I"m checking my Balance I opt. on my mobile *123# than I got a massage on my mobile for Hello Tune song press 578785(tollfree).
                                  And I press the same no. and after listening some songs I disconnect the phone without pressing any option. After sometime my balance reduced by Rs. 20/-
                                  When I called to Airtel customer care [Mr. Ajay] ref. no. chtwc[protected],
                                  he rudely said you had pressed the 2 and choose the hello tune. and I said to him that I had not pressed any button but he did not listen me. when I asked him for any other customer care service no. he said in hindi "Yahi ek customer care service no hai baki Aagge Khaaee Hai" the way he was talked I get upset and I request him to deactivate my hello tune right now.

                                    This is to bring to your kind notice that i had an airtel mobile connection with the number [protected] with the internet services. i used this number for almost 4 years and paid all the bills regularly. it was about 8 months back when i discovered that out of the bill amount of 10500, more than 8000 is being charged for the internet services. after that i requested customer care executives about 5 times for the change of internet plan which was 299 for the same amount o[censored]sage.
                                    They didnt changed the plan and again i kept paying the bills regularly till february 2011 and after that i stopped paying it as it was enough of making requests time and again and your persons not acting on it.
                                    And now your guys are regularly harassing my friends and my family for the pending amount, which i will not bear anymore.
                                    You are requested to look into the matter and do the needfull.

                                      This is Anbu Saravanan. I have already register with complaint that I couldnt able to view few channels which I have subscribed. That issue was taken care of and the engineer came to my place and resolved. But after that, I couldnt view many channels properly. Most of the primary channels ( 500, 501, 502, 503, 505, 508 are not working ) .

                                      When I asked the same guy who resolved the previous issue, he asked me to register a complaint again. It is the issue that HE caused, HE has the SOLE responsibility to solve it. but why shoudl I register complaint again and again

                                        Please be informed that I won't be paying the rent as the connection is not working and nobody has turned yet. I request you to refund the money I have paid for connection, modem and the phone. I paid for a new modem and your engineer Mr. Tharanath ([protected]) has cheated me and have given very very old modem. I called him 'n' number of times and false assurances that he will rectify it in 1 hour, 2 hour, before 10 PM, etc., is he the customer or I ?

                                        A I got fed up raised a service request[protected], when I checked the status it was closed with out resolution. The reason mentioned was already another request is in progress, I don't know what was that ?

                                        Again called up and raised an interaction request which was not attended.

                                        Again raised a service request[protected] and no response.

                                        Is this is the way you handle customer ? You don't have any value for customers ?
