my customer id is [protected] i have problem with airtel dth set top box from 10.05.2011. regular complaints have been made and tll today 26.05.2011. They are also asking for 350 rs to be submitted to change my set top box. everyday there customer executive is saying that your problem will be resolved today but till now nothing has been done when we ask for the no. of higher officials they are telling it's against the policy. my mobile no. is [protected]

Airtel DTH — problem in set top box

i am residing at charmwood village faridabad.my airtel set top box is not working properly... 5 days has been passed since i've complained for it..my complain no./reference no. is 1924193...but no one has came to fix the problem. i regularly call at the no. [protected] and everytime they assure me that a representative/technician is on the way,but i dont know what's their problem? such an irresponsible behaviour..very bad customer service.
Dear Sir, I have puchased airtel DTH connection on 24.10.09. My Customer ID is [protected]. My settop box is not purforming well. I have made so many complaints to your Customer Care. but problem is not solved. you are requested to please take necessary action at your end.
set top box power is not coming.
I have made complaint 20 times for last ten days .But nobody come to solve.

I will switch to tata dth .
bloody airtel.

better to switch in tata or reliance.

for da new user i am surely saying or suggesting u to all plz dont go for airtel dth . its a worse class of connection or services.. its better to go for tata or reliance.

    Hi,
    Im a Airtel Mobile subscriber for the past 6 years. Recently I got a 3G activation done by airtel when i Just called for enquiry, They pushed me into getting a 100 Rs plan for 100 MB, I'm using GPRS for the past 3 years and my usage have never crossed 100 MB, I was using it for a while and got to know from my friends that the the 3g Billing is not structured and asked me stop using 3G from airtel to avoid any trouble. Within three days of getting alerted by my friends, I get a SMS from airtel saying that my usage has exceeded the limit and my current usage is for Rs 6637, I was shocked and called Airtel CC right away. When enquired about the same the agent on call told me that my usage as on that date is 229 MB and I would not be getting bill about 6000+, and the alert I received was without discounts and my bill would be close to[protected], I got shocked and asked her to disable the 3G service right away, and she did the same. Now I get a bill from airtel on 9th of June saying that I have to make a payment of whopping Rs 7882. It said the bill that total usage time is 80 mins, when I called CC they said that its for the usage of 510 MB, (Which is untrue and ridiculous). Now i sure that i could not use it for 512 meg in 8 days approx. This is insane that Airtel is trying to make joke out of their users. I have decided not to pay this bill, and when calling CC with respect to this problem all they do is say that they will transfer my call to Billing dept, which never happened, Once I waited even for 45 mins to get to and person from billing which is insane I lost my trust in airtel and They are one foolish company who think they can play with people's money initiating a new service.

    If airtel if going to disconnect my number or gonna harass me for payment, I would ensure that I take it to the top. And also going write and article about the same issue in India Today.

    Dear Sir,

    Arrange to issue a Legal Notice to Airtel and intimate them legally about the problem. Unless you issue a legal notice, there is every possibility that you may be held liable for the bill amount.

      I had requested for change of package on sunday 22nd may 2011. I changed my package to "A la carta pack" using airtel dth website. After request submission I got message it will be changed within 24 hours, but it was not changed. So I called customer care and they told me they will change it. The service request number was 8259339. Next day I got SMS that my issue has been fixed. I checked and I found only free to Air channels are visible ( ie DD channels). I called again customer care and told them I don't see any of the channel I selected in "A la carta pack" they told me they can't solve my problem and directed me to send an email about the issue to [protected]@airtel.in.

      I sent email three emails in two days but there was no response. I'm getting blank calls from [protected] which I pick up and no one speaks.

      Today 25th May 2011, time 1:30 PM and still i have not received any message or call to resolve the issue.

      Please try to resolve my problem.

          My mob no is [protected].I had recharge the same on 24/05/2011 at 07:51 PM and got a talktime of Rs 87/-(total 87+04=91/-,Rs 4 was previous bal) vide Trans ID[protected].At 0800PM when i send one sms of Rs 3/- my balance was Rs 58/- only.This not first time,Airtel is doing this type of business with me science last 2/3 months.198/121(compl cell /cus care) are another bogas dept of Airtel.They will simply tell"sir,technical up-gradation is going on, pl call later" or your call will cut in between after listening you some EVR instruction for 5/6 minutes.This my advice to all INDIANS pl d'nt take connection of Airtel,your mental peace wil be disturb.

          I have activated GPRS on 27 Jul 08 at 1230pm. They deducted Rs.30 at 1:30pm and got message Rs.14.99 is deducted for ur last VAS download. Through out the day no service was available. I was able to access the GPRS from 11:00 am on 28 Jul onwards. Same thing has happed till 30 Jul 08 and no action from Airtel other than a refund of Rs 15, eventhough I complained about it so many times.
          Reducing balace
          They deducted Rs.30 last week as coller tune & Rs 15 against deducted on 14.07.2009 saying caller tune activated. But caller tune already I have discunnected. Please take necessary steps to reimburse my amount.
          I got a SMS from AIRTEL on 30/08/2009 matter containing "You are important to us ! We offer you Fullest Talktime on all topup recharges for 90 days!! Extra TT will be credited in 48hrs of recharge. Happy Recharging". After getting this SMS I got facilitated 2-3 times of full talk time. But, on 15/09/2009 I recharged Rs. 150.00 and got only Rs. 135.99 talk values. Till now I complained several times. But, I am getting only assurance of "Sorry, please wait 24hrs/48hrs". This is really a typical harassment.

          Hence take necessory action on this and do the needful.Due to these type o[censored]nwanted actions from your end i was forced to cut your connection, Expcting your speedy actions in this regard. Expecting your favorable reply from your end within 2 days, to avoid the discontinue your connection, I would like to inform you that I am using u r connection more than 8 years.

          My Name is Rajeev Gupta. My Mobile No. is [protected] and I am the user 5 to 6 years old. Today I was surfing in my mobile and when we finished our work then one message come to my mobile and this message is " Thanku for subscribing Game Zone and your balance is deducted from Rs. 99". I am surprising how the co. do such type of act and I am not understanding why the co. deduct my balance when we didn't subscrible any game zone. So kindly refund my money in to our account and hope co. again do not work like this.

          for this types of complaints just send a mail to the nodal officer of the Airtel.
          Once they got any written complaints they takes necessary actions.
          All customer care representatives are fools they don't know anything and they also don't have any authorities. They are paid for making fool to the customers...

          So mark a mail to the nodal officer of the Airtel.

            Hi

            I am writing this mail in a capacity of a customer and I held high regards for Airtel prior to the experience I had since I have applied for a Broadband connection on 19th May 2011.
            I have filled the form for broadband connection on 19th May 2011. And i was promised that the connection would be installed by 21st i.e. Saturday but no one came for installation.
            I was in constant touch with your sales person Mr. Piyush Saxena whose email id is piyush1.[protected]@airtel.in and his mobile number is [protected]. He committed to me that the connection would be installed by Saturday i.e. 21st May 2011. But nothing happened on that day.
            I gave him a call on Sunday morning i.e. 22nd May 2011 and he assured me that the connection would be installed by Sunday evening. In afternoon 2 guys from Airtel came and did the wiring for the connection and confirmed that the engineer would be coming to install the switch but no one came.

            Next day i.e. Monday Mr. Piyush said that there were some technical issues that’s why my request cannot be forwarded so he will get the installation done by evening 5 pm. But to no surprise nothing happened and after that Mr. Piyush has stopped responding to my calls and messages. He has not reverted to me on this till now.
            I have kept all the messages from Mr. Piyush for reference for further action.
            Today i.e. 24th May 2011 I got a call in the morning at 11:14 am from landline number: - [protected] and I was told that engineer will be coming to install the connection and Rs 1500 is to be paid to the engineer towards Wi Fi modem. But again to no surprise no one came.
            Today at 8 pm i called up your customer care at number [protected] the call was received by Mr. Joy he apologized for the inconvenience and confirmed that the connection will be installed by tomorrow i.e. 25th May 2011. But my call got dropped so I was not able to speak to him.

            I have again called up your customer care and this time Mr. Aditya answered the call and he confirmed that my DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFUCULTIES my connection will be installed latest by 29th May 2011 again my call was dropped.
            On again calling this time it was Mr. Adnan he was very smart as he didn’t have answer to my query so he said OUR SYSTEM ARE UNDER UPGRADATION SO HE CANT CHECK ANYTHING SO CALL AFTER 1 hour.

            I again tried your customer care this time it was Mr. Mayank he was so irritated by my complaint that he warned me in threatning way stating that i will disconnect your call if you keep complaining and he said that due to TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES IN DP YOUR CONNECTION WILL NOT BE INSTALLED AND WE WILL RETURN YOUR MONEY IN 21 DAYS. Then the call was transferred to Mr. Sanjeev he repeated the same thing.

            I just want to know that is this the customer service AIRTEL is providing to his customers. 5 People giving me 5 different versions.

            Why i have to chase people to get my thing done. THIS IS HIGHLY UNPROFFESSIONAL ATTITUDE. Its not the matter of 500 Rs. but its the matter of mis commitment. I have all the messages with me which states that “Thank you for choosing Airtel Broadband. Your Request is being processed and we will revert to you in 48hrs post ascertaining the TECHNICAL Feasibility. “And I get a message after that to keep the all the documents ready for your sales guy.

            I would require a Solution to this ASAP.

              My mobile no is 9oo4802845 with a prepaid connection. I have never ever told Airtel to activate sms alert from [protected] "Dictionary on mobile service". But Airtel itself started the service without my permission and deducts money for my prepaid balance.
              Airtel "MUST" ask first to start the service as well as to keep the provision to "unscribe the service" if not required. This is a kind of LOOT from Airtel. This should be stopped immediately.
              Please stop this soon and add the deducted amount back into my balance.

                I HAVE RECHARGED WORTH OF RS.200/- TOWARDS ADD HD CHANNELS ON 16.04.2011. I HAVE REQUESTED TO THE SAME ON 20.04.2011 BY MY REGD. PHONE NO.[protected] AND I GOT COMPLAINT NO. IMMEDIATELY I HAVE RECEIVED A SMS STATING THAT WITH IN 72 HOURS A TECHNICIAN FROM THE COMPANY WILL COME AND ALIGN THE DISH FOR ADDING HD CHANNELS. I GOT DTH HD RECEIVER AND I AM WATCHING THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL HD BEFORE I MADE REQUEST. I MADE SEVERAL CALLS TO THE TOLL FREE NO AND I MADE REQUEST TO ADD HD CHANNELS. BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN.
                RECENTLY, ON MAY 10 I MADE COMPLAINT THROUGH THIS CONSUMER FORUM. AFTER, THAT I USED TO RECEIVE CALLS FROM THE HEAD QTRS OF THE COMPANY (DELHI) STATING THAT THEY ARE SENDING A TECHNICIAN TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. BUT NO TECHNICIAN HAS NOT COME TILL NOW.
                THE STAFF OF THE HEAD QTRS OF THE COMPANY IS TAKING MUCH CARE ABOUT PURSUING THE PROBLEM AT DELHI LEVEL. BUT, HERE THE LOCAL STAFF OF THE COMPANY I.E. AREA MANAGER AND OTHER STAFF WHO ARE WORKING IN VISAKHAPATNAM ARE USE LESS FELLOWS AND THEY ARE SIMPLY TAKING THE MONEY FROM THE COMPANY WITHOUT WORKING. I CAME TO KNOW THROUGH MY FRIENDS THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED BY GIVING BRIBE TO THE TECHNICIANS.
                NOW, I BELIEVE WITHOUT GIVING BRIBE AREA MANAGER & OTHER STAFF DO NOT WANT TO ATTEND THE PROBLEM.
                HOWEVER, KINDLY ARRANGE TO ADD THE HD CHANNELS IMMEDIATELY, OTHERWISE BY RTI SUPPORT I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE INFORMATION FROM THE COMPANY THE TOTAL CALLS I MADE TO SORT OUT THE PROBLEM AND I RECEIVED THE CALLS FROM THE COMPANY BY SAYING USELESS ASSUANCE AND WASTING OF MY TIME.                 Consequent on receiving of my concern listed on 24 May 2011, the Airtel Presence (Airtel Customer Service Team) is on the work i.e. to arrange to add HD Channels. 2 weeks has passed but, the problem still remain.
                Mr. Naveen, one of the top official also promised me to solve this problem but no action has been taken till now. The work of Add HD Channels is not a big problem, eventhough a simple work did not arrange to solve. Mr. Naveen should feel a shame for not keeping his promise. I feel local authorities and other service team members are taking salaries from the company without doing proper work in time.
                Mr. Vaibhav one of the member of Airtel Services from Delhi is taking much care and pursing the problem.
                Higher officials should concentrate this lapse and penalyse the incumbents who are responsible.
                I want to wait for one week to solve this problem, other wise I will take this issue to the media and top officials.

                  Hi,

                  I am facing issues with airtel customer care executives often, they don't respond to your queries properly, worse thing they do is put your call on hold and simply disconnect after some time. This has happened to me not once or twice. This is how they behave if you call to Airtel customer care from Bangalore atleast. They record your call for "quality monitoring pupose", I doubt is there someone reviewing these calls.

                  I called up Airtel Customer Care twice on 24/5/2011, both the times they put my call on hold for 5 mins or so and hung up after some time (for this they are charging 50 ps per min). My complaint was regarding the GPRS plan. I am using 98 rupees plan which has one month GPRS connectivity with 2GB download (I know that some prepaid customers are getting the same plan for 65 rupees or so). My Rs 98 GPRS plan got expired on 23/05/2011 it didn't renew itself because there was no sufficient balance. So I thought of recharging next morning.But I got a bad surprise next morning - a message from Airtel telling you have subscribed for rs 19 GPRS plan for 3 days and it will be autorenewed. That was utter nonsense, how can they activate this plan by there own without consulting me.. I called cutomer care for this reason and the treatment I got from customer care was horrible..

                  I even thought of cancelling the connection, but I know my friend who is struggling to get the number portability done.

                  Please provide a soution for my problem and compensate my loses.

                      My Airtel mobile No. is [protected], i have been facing the problem of no network at home since 15th May 11. i have given the complaint on 16th on airtel customer care and they did not provide a compalaint number to me and on 21st May 11, after repetitive calls they gave me a complaint No. [protected] and then on 23rd May 11, i received a message from airtel stating my complaint is resolved although they did not resolve it nor they have communicated with me.
                      when i again called up they are saying that there is a problem with the handset although i have the network in all other areas. (I have 4 airtel numbers at home and none of them are working at home)
                      Further, i get the network in my building compound but no network on any of the floors of my building even on the 1st floor although till 15th May 11, the network was very good but iam facing the problem now.
                      Also, on many occasions customer care executive had disconnected my call (3-4 times) when asked about my status.

                        i have a airtel digital tv connection since last 10 days i m facing the problem of "no signal" and have comlained on their toll free help line number but no action has been taken i've complained them more than 5 times but daily they ask me for 24 hrs time but no enggineer comes on asking them they lodge a fresh complain keeping the previous complain unattended plzz look into the matter.

                            Hi,

                            I have applied for MOBILE NUMBER PORTIBILY from IDEA postpaid to AIRTEL postpaid (MOBILE NO: [protected]) on 09/05/2011 and i was told that it would be done within 7 days as per TRAI RULES AND REGULATIONS. Today is 24/05/2011 and my no. is not yet completely transferred to AIRTEL. Both Outgoing & Incoming calls are active. I have called to the MNP HELPLINE NO. = [protected] but there were not able to provide me clear instructions, they just provided me with complain nos. 37453485, 37588370 and MNO Order No. 38660340. I went to IDEA CUSTOMER HUB as well but they said that there is no rejection from there side. Everytime, i called in AIRTEL MNP HELPLINE NO. = [protected], i was told that i will get a call within 24 hrs or 48 hrs, but i have nver received any call from them yet.

                            I also went to your AIRTEL CUSTOMER HUB at Mahadevpura ,Bangalore several times and there the manager Joy told me that its approved and should have happened by now. Though Joy was helpful but there was no resolution to my problem. I want you to please take proper action on it and get my issue resolved within 24 hrs.
                            I have opted for Postpaid Subex Ltd (Also known as Subex Azure) corporate plan.

                            This is the last time, i am requesting you to take action on it and if my problem persists, I am ready to file a complaint with the CONSUMER FORUM as I am protected under the CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT of 1986.

                            The consumer complaint will be at your cost and expenses, and I will seek compensation for the mental agony caused due to the deficiency in your services.

                            i had applie for change of my operator frm airtel to vodafone..my port code is ad 712675.....on 30 jan 2011 i had applied fr it....on 4th february i received a msg frm vodafone saying my request has been approved by my current operator...but to my surprise airtel discoonnected my number on 4th feb...wen i called d airtel customer care dey told me dt my nmber has been permanently deactivated...airtel is getting insecure about its users lately...dey told me dt dey hav discnnecred my number due to incomplete documents...i hav used my nmber fr 8 years wd airtel,dey never had any problems den but wen i opted to change my operator,my documents r now incomplete...pathetic!!!!!

                            I just has a discussion with the Idea nodal office person, he said the UPC submitted my Airtel guys at mahadevpura branch was wrong, that the only reason for the rejection.

                            So according to Idea its a complete goo[censored]p from Airtel's side. You need to resolve the issue at the earliest, else I need to seek help from TRAI.

                            Mobile no. portability reqested for - Airtel

                            Reason - Idea's network is not good in my area.





                            1) On 9th May 2011, I requested for MNP by sending PORT [protected] to 1900 (This no. generates MNP unique code)

                            2) In sometime I got a sms from 1901 with the unique porting code "IX325565" with expiry date of 24th May 2011.

                            3) Same day I went to Bangalore Mahadevpura airtel centre to apply for MNP from Idea to Airtel.

                            4) Airtel representative "Joy" was handeling the request. Another Airtel representative filled up my form, collected passport size photo, Pan card copy, electricity bill copy, got the form signed and handed over the sim card with the no. "[protected] H2-WD".

                            5) He ensured that the process should take min 4 working days and max of 7 working days,

                            6)I got a MNP update on 12th May 2011 from 1901 that " Request for porting to Airtel has been received and the application is in process"

                            7) After this there were no updates and hence two times I visited Mahadevpura Airtel office and Joy kept telling that it is under process and I should wait. On my second visit she also provided me with her mobile no. ([protected]) so that I can ask for the updates.

                            8) Mean while I was constantly doing follow ups with Airtel MNP help line no[protected] and Idea help line no.[protected], but I failed to get any information regarding my MNP status. Airtel customer representative kept saying that they can see an MNP request for 12 May 2011, so i should wait for sometime. The also provided me with few ticket Ids[protected],[protected] Also with MNP Order No. 38660340.

                            Where as Idea Customer care was totally unaware of any such request generated from my number.

                            9) After constantly messaging Joy shereplied few of my texts, saying

                            24 May 2011 - Sir today I did not go for work.

                            25 may 2011 - Your order got rejected and they are telling to apply for a fresh reqest, please send me a new MNP code as the older one got expired. You can sms me the new code, no need to visit the showroom. )I forwared a new MNP code "IX346623" with expiry date 9th June 2011)

                            26th May - Sent mail yesterday to the MNP department, still waiting for the reply.

                            27th may 2011- Its in process, the account no. is [protected].

                            10) I have also raised a complain againt Airtel at http://www.consumercomplaints.in, same can be traced using the link

                            http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/mnp-not-done-c580455.html. This was submitted on 24th May 2011 and I got a vague reply from some Airtel representative Rakesh Ranga on 28th May 2011 & 29tth may 2011 that the issue has been resolved. There was no detail about the resolution, my idea sim is still active and MNP has not happened.

                            11) Mean while is send my complains to Airtel, Idea, TRAI email ids ([protected]@trai.gov.in, [protected]@airtel.in, Corporate Accounts <[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com>) to resolve the issues but there were no solutions provided, they did not even replied back, except TRAI who forwarded complains to the following email ids ("ajay.sharma" <ajay.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com>,
                            "Hemant.Coomar" <Hemant.[protected]@airtel.in>, "rahul.vatts" <rahul.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com>, "ajay.sharma" <ajay.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com>).

                            12) I aso sent couple of emails & sms to Ashish gupta who is the manager for Subex Idea corporate accounts, but her did not even replied to mails and gave fake commitments by replying the SMS (Gupta Ashish <gupta.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com>, [protected])

                            13) I was also constanty following up with syed from Idea Nodel office to give the reason for MNP rejection as Airtel faild to provide the same. I got to know that a wrong MNP code was submitted by Airtel MNP dept, due to which Idea has rejected the request.
                            14) On 30 May 2011, I again went oto Mahadevpura Airtel shop and asked for an update from Joy, she said that she has forwared a correct MNP code to the Airtel Sales/MNP team but they entered the wrong code in their system. She also made me read the email and check the code that she sent, it was correct.
                            15) On 01/06/11 I got this account no, from Joy (Person at mahadevpura Airtel showroom) [protected].
                            17) Anil from Appelette office also confirmed that now everything is fine, and in another 7 days MNP will happen.
                            16) But when I called up Airtel MNP helpline, Customer executive said that this is just an account thats created in your name, there is no mibile no. associated to it. Even MNP tracker can no list my mobile no. So till now there is no Update on MNP.


                            I have all the emails and SMS backups exchanged between Airtel, Idea and TRAI.

                            Do let me know if anything else is required.

                                I am having an airtel connection bearing number [protected] which is a prepaid lifetime connection. I have lost the simcard of this connection when the phone was given for repair. the number is registered in the name of my husband V.K.Krishna Kumar, resident of B-7/33(GF), Sector-15, Rohini, Delhi-110085 (now changed to 110089). I would be very grateful if the simcard is blocked so that no one else can make use of it and i would also like to know the procedure as to obtain a new sim card for the same number. i shall be grateful if you would let me know at the earliest.

He has also met Mr. Niket, CRO at your Dombivili Office and requested him to cancel Sim card no. immediately.
                                Kindly cancel the Sim card immediately in order to avoid misuse by anyone. He wont be responsible for any call made on this mobile from 23/07/08 at 1230 hrs IST.

When i lost the mobile phone, i lost the sim card as well. i informed airtel that the mobile had been lost and therefore the sim needs to be deactivated. after 3 months i received a lawyers notice stating that i need to pay the service charges for all these months, though i have not received a replacement nor utilised any of their services. is there anyone who can guide me as to what action is required on my part ?

                                  Dear Friend,

                                  I am exposing the illegal activities of Airtel (most unethical company, I have seen) and will describe how they forcefully deduce money from consumer's prepaid accounts. I am giving the details of company's modus oprendi to cheat consumers.

                                  In short I am thinking to go to lodge a legal complaint (also posting to every website) against Airtel on account for following illegal activities
                                  • Even after activating DND service sending messages to customer and violating the personal privacy and putting customer in extreme mental torture.
                                  • Illegal backend activation of services without customer’s permission and illegal transfer of money from customer’s account to Airtel account.
                                  • Extreme mental harassment by doing financially illegal activities against customer every now and then since months.

                                  It started couple of months back. Company started deducting money from my account in the pretext of "Java game downloads" (which were never downloaded) and Value added service (forceful activation without my permission). I am going to give the recent example (one of the many) in chronological order,

                                  Date: 21-05-11; 23:07 message from AD-54321- "Thanks for downloading Java games you have been charged Rs99/=
                                  Date: 21-05-11; 23:09 message from AD-54321- "Thanks for using weeklysub subscription services you have been charged Rs15/=
                                  Date: 21-05-11;"PUSH MESSAGE": enjoy 1 day trial of model of the day for free, charges will be Rs 50/= month will apply after free trial, to stop click on the link xyz (which does not work)

                                  I already have activated DND and it is illegal to send such kind of “Push messages” to me and harass me. I did not download any game or any such things. I did not subscribe any service. After calling to customer care at least 100 times (going through extreme mental torture) they accepted their mistake (complaint no. CBDAL[protected]& 79 & CBDAL[protected]) and returned my money.

                                  BUT the same day again
                                  Date: 22-05-11; 17:19 message from AD-54321- "Thanks for downloading Java games you have been charged Rs50/=
                                  Date: 22-05-11; 17:45 message from AD-54321- Thanks for using weeklysub subscription services you have been charged Rs20/=
                                  Date: 22-05-11;"PUSH MESSAGE": Get cricket alerts at Rs 3 day/= and then it was activated (without my permission, forcefully)

                                  After calling to customer care again at least 100 times (completely exhausted and frustrated) they again accepted their mistake (complaint no. COVWC[protected] & COVWC[protected]) and returned my money. To stop messages I again fought with customer care for at least 1 hr complaint no. CBDLA[protected] and get the assurance that these things will never happen again.

                                  BUT again
                                  Date: 23-05-11;"PUSH MESSAGE": Get daily video at Rs 30/week to unsubscribe click here…. (a link which never works)
                                  Date: 23-05-11; 21:25; message from AD-54321- "Thanks for downloading Java games you have been charged Rs90/=

                                  I called customer care again and the gentleman sitting there (Mr. Ranjeet at 198-11, time-21:13, date[protected] told me not so politely that I will never return your money irrespective of whomever mistake. I told thanks and final goodbye to Airtel.

                                  This is only one of the many same events in the recent past. After this very event, I finally decided to cut myself off completely from Airtel forever. Moreover I am thinking to file legal complaints against the company for its un-lawful behavior towards customer.

                                  In summary I am thinking to go to lodge a legal complaint (also posting to every website) against Airtel on account for following activities

                                  • Even after activating DND service sending messages to customer and violating the personal privacy and putting customer in extreme mental torture.
                                  • Illegal backend activation of services without customer’s permission and illegal transfer of money from customer’s account to Airtel account.
                                  • Extreme mental harassment by doing financially illegal activities against customer every now and then since months.
                                  Me totally agree with the complaint...forceful deduction of money from my prepaid number has really turned a fun for those ...i gz...now i am losing rs 10 for every 10 days ...when i call up to enquire they end up saying u hav subscribd to airtel talkies...i dont know is that a gene or something that plays with ma num...huh...

                                    Dear sir/madam

                                    I have sent request to port my BSNL card to airtel on the promise that my card will not work only for 2 hours... Now they say the card will not work for 7 days when the service from bsnl is stopped and airtel card is accepting messages but no calls.... now I am losing my business for their false commitment and irresponsible job.... Kindly probe into this matter

                                      I HAVE BEEN USING THE HELLO TUNE OF "OM NAMAH SHIVAYA" SUNG BY SHRI. MADHU BALAKRISHNAN, MALAYALAM PLAY BACK SINGER, SINCE THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS IN MY AIRTEL MOBILE CONNECTION. CONSEQUENT UPON MY OPTION OF TONE FOR A LONGER PERIOD, I HAVE RECEIVED A MESSAGE ON[protected] STATING THAT MY HELLO TUNE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO OM NAMASSIVAYA ABSOLUTELY FREE. BUT THE CHANGED TONE WAS NOT GOOD/APPEALING AND SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN REQUESTING TO SWITCH OVER TO MY ORIGINAL "OM NAMAH SHIVAYA" SUNG BY SHRI. MADHU BALAKRISHNAN, MALAYALAM PLAY BACK SINGER WHICH HAS NOT MATERIALIZED SO FAR. KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM GIVING SPECIAL ATTENTION FOR THE REASONS BEHIND THE DELIBERATE CHANGE OF TONE WITHOUT MY CONSENT AND THE MOTIVE BEHIND IT.
