My name is Ravi Kumar Tiriveedhi. My mobile number is : [protected]. I am a aircel customer and requested for mobile porting on 6th May, 2011 at airtel showroom.. They informed that porting will be completed by 13th May,2011 at 10pm. But number was not migrated to Airtel. I called aircel customer care and they said that they have granted the porting from their end and there's problem from airtel end. Airtel customer care executives have taken many complaints. One of the complaint number is : CDAMN[protected]. They said that porting will be completed by 16th Nite. But till now the problem was not solved. Please check and update me about the status of my complaint and resolve my issue at the earliest as I am a AC mechanic and I am losing my business as my customers are unable to reach me on my number. Appreciate your immediate action.

      On my above phone, I was neither able to receive nor make calls from 4th to 24th February 2011. During this period, I was without a mobile phone connection. Daily I made a number of complaints to the Customer Care Centre, the Nodal Officer and the Appellant Authority, but nothing was done to put the phone right. All these complaints were made from my landline phone, incurring expenses amounting to Rs.595.51 on all these phone calls. I talked to Anuradha Ref. [protected] requesting that this amount be reimbursed to me, but was told that they would not reimburse the money, and I could approach TRAI or the Consumer Court.

      Following are the details of my complaints in this connection:

        Complaint under:Telecom Consumers Protection and Redressal of
        Grievances Regulations, 2007 (3 of 2007) dated 4.5.2007]

        Dear Sir,

        For the last three weeks I have been repeatedly complaining by e-mail & telephonic calls that under the 2 Mbps UNLIMITED scheme I am not getting more than 1.2 Mbps download speed.
        Test reports of reliable sites (Your Broadband Speed Test Site: speed.tn.airtelbroadband.in is down) done at various times from 4AM to 11 PM gave the same results. The variation in speed was from 500Kbps to 1120 Kbps i.e 25% to 55% of the CONTRACTED Speed.

        While I was repeatedly doing the above I get a warning mail from Airtel that I have downloaded over 16GB (80% of the FUP ceiling of 20 GB & the speed would be truncated to 8% of 2 Mbps i.e. 250Kbps after hitting 20 GB)

        I highlighted this absurd notice to you all. On one hand you are never delivering 2 Mbps but on the other hand , very high handedly, cutting the speed to 8% of the contracted with the alacrity of a guillotine. HOW FAIR IS THIS ? My connection is in the 2 Mbps UNLIMITED category with the FUP rider (fairness of which is another story of lobbies getting better of the individual customer rights)- YOU NEVER KEEP YOUR PROMISE OF 2 Mbps BUT HAVE NO SECOND THOUGHT IN REDUCING THE SPEED AFTER the 20GB notional limit in the UNLIMITED connection?

        I DEMAND RESTORATION OF NORMAL SPEED (I am not saying 2 Mbps because that is a chimera of AIRTELs sales pitch and eminently qualifies as unethical practice).

          Dear Sir,

          On dt. 14th May 2011 when I"m checking my Balance I opt. on my mobile *123# than I got a massage on my mobile for Hello Tune song press 578785(tollfree).
          And I press the same no. and after listening some songs I disconnect the phone without pressing any option. After sometime my balance reduced by Rs. 20/-
          When I called to Airtel customer care [Mr. Ajay] ref. no. chtwc[protected],
          he rudely said you had pressed the 2 and choose the hello tune. and I said to him that I had not pressed any button but he did not listen me. when I asked him for any other customer care service no. he said in hindi "Yahi ek customer care service no hai baki Aagge Khaaee Hai" the way he was talked I get upset and I request him to deactivate my hello tune right now.

          Kindly suggest me what to do?

            This is to bring to your kind notice that i had an airtel mobile connection with the number [protected] with the internet services. i used this number for almost 4 years and paid all the bills regularly. it was about 8 months back when i discovered that out of the bill amount of 10500, more than 8000 is being charged for the internet services. after that i requested customer care executives about 5 times for the change of internet plan which was 299 for the same amount o[censored]sage.
            They didnt changed the plan and again i kept paying the bills regularly till february 2011 and after that i stopped paying it as it was enough of making requests time and again and your persons not acting on it.
            And now your guys are regularly harassing my friends and my family for the pending amount, which i will not bear anymore.
            You are requested to look into the matter and do the needfull.

              This is Anbu Saravanan. I have already register with complaint that I couldnt able to view few channels which I have subscribed. That issue was taken care of and the engineer came to my place and resolved. But after that, I couldnt view many channels properly. Most of the primary channels ( 500, 501, 502, 503, 505, 508 are not working ) .

              When I asked the same guy who resolved the previous issue, he asked me to register a complaint again. It is the issue that HE caused, HE has the SOLE responsibility to solve it. but why shoudl I register complaint again and again

                Please be informed that I won't be paying the rent as the connection is not working and nobody has turned yet. I called him 'n' number of times and false assurances that he will rectify it in 1 hour, 2 hour, before 10 PM, etc., is he the customer or I ?

                A I got fed up raised a service request[protected], when I checked the status it was closed with out resolution. The reason mentioned was already another request is in progress, I don't know what was that ?

                Again called up and raised an interaction request which was not attended.

                Is this is the way you handle customer ? You don't have any value for customers ?

                  Hi, I am facing problem with the HDMI.. sometimes LG LCD (connected thru HDMI from Airtel HD) shows No Signal. after switching Off and On after 1 hr the problem resolves but again appears after sometime. At the same time Component works smoothly...
                  I am confused whether its the problem of HD STB or LG LCD??

                    Hi, in Airtel I am not able to divert the calls to my BSNL sim. I wanted to divert the calls when busy from Airtel. When I called the customer care they told it is deactivated now. Why they are doing like this when BSNL allows their number to divert. We can divert BSNL calls to Airtel. But Airtel is not allowing. Please do take some action.

                      On 14.5.2011, we have booked the POP Material ot he following Cities Merrut (Con No.=J[protected], Dehradun (Con No.=J[protected], Noida (Con No.=J[protected]

                      The same load was forwarded by the FFCL PanDariba, Charbagh, Lucknow Branch (Br.Manager, Mr.Asif = [protected]) on Saturday itself, and as per Mr.Asif, the Load of Agra & Bareilly will be moved on Monday 16.5.2011, and we have instructed by him to collect the Consignment Notes on Monday.

                      My Representative make the FFCL Staff counted all the Contents of Parcels, and the FFCL Staff put the Company Seal alsoand kept the Load in the Branch only, and today when my staff went at the branch to fetch the Consignment Notes, he found the Agra Parcel Opened and from it 2 Shirts, 2 Collar T.Shirts, & 8 Round Neck T.Shirts short in Quantity.

                      Please ensure the Prompt & Nurtured Functions, reason we have hired you and revert how this happened from such an esteemed concern.

You have been charged Rs.5 latest games http://gclub.in". I contacted customer service but it is of no use.. This thing is being going on for months.. i kindly request you to stop this services i have'nt subscribed for and remit the money which has been deducted from my balance..

                        Airtel — subscribing/renewing services without request

                        on mobile no. [protected] daily I receicev SMS from AD54321 that you have been renewed for GamesClubSubscriptionforrs subscription service fro Airtel. You have been charged Rs 5. get latest games at http://gclub.in/ea.

                        Every dar Rs 5 are deducted from my balance. This process is going on from Jan 2011. I have made several complaints to 121 and email to nodal officer but no fritfull results came out.

                          I purchased Sony Barvio 32 inch LCD at vijaya sales chinchwad-pune on 09/05/2011 afternoon.i got Airtel HD-DTH connection with it for which i was asked to reacharge 1000rs after it only service engineer comes and installs at my flat.
                          I generated my Cust ID with hell struggle with customer care(after calling 8th time)..each time when i call it will kept on hold for more then 15mins or line used disconnect...
                          after 4 days of purchse finally i got confermed that service enginner is booked for installation.on 13th service engineer installed DTH..he said activation will be done after 1hr....leave about 1hr...its 3rd day no activation.. :(...i am fed up calling Airtel customer care(however they never care)...
                          i think i spent more then 600rs on calling customers care..
                          please take action to activate my account.

                          i am sorry to tell,Airtel-DTH is first ever customer care which i seen so irrisponsive and non ethical.

                            I'm getting a Low balance message on screen. Number of times i have called to customer care, reported my issue. They are telling few tips & tricks but it not works. From 02nd April'-11, I have start facing the problem. Spend lot of time to report this call to Customer Care and done lot of calls. When i asked them about complaint number, they said we don't have complaint number system. you can send mails.
                            After discussing on phone from last one month, when i send mail on 2nd may and done lot of follow-ups then they replied me on 14th May with same tips& tricks story and saying that they don't have any complaint for this. I'm facing a problem from one month. Called on Customer care more then 10 or 15 times and they say their is no complaint. Pathetic Customer Care. I told them that i will recharge only if you will solve m y problem. But still they don't care about their customer pain. I called again on 15th May
                            repeated complete story but still same story. I discussed with team lead "Mr. Gajinder". After listening my problem that he will revert back within 30 minutes.But no response. I called again after one hour and asked executive to connect me to Mr. Gajinder. They pit the cal on hold and after few minutes it disconnected. I have discussed this case with their number of team leads. Few of them i remembered, like Maninder, Perminder (boss of Maninder), Ruchika, etc. I told them i will not recharge untill you resolve teh problem or you can disconnect the services. Instead of resolving the problem, they have disconnected the services. Now, I'm start thinking to file a complaint in consumer court. I will not let them go. they have wasted my of time and given mentally disturbance. I suggest everybody, i you have sufficient tiem and mind to take bodrashen then go for airtel then choose any other. My few mails are attached below that i have sent them.

                            During every call, new executive, new team lead but old story. After passing one month my story is same. Still i'm getting same message on my tv screen number of times a day. Everytime i have told your executives that its very im-braising that if somebody is sitting in your house watching the
                            TV then this message comes. I done lots of requests but no response.

                            It was my first experience with Airtel digital TV. What a pathetic customer care. I'm sending this mail to you just to tell you that now airtel has reached a growth where one or two or few dissatisfied customer will not impact. but this story will increase to the number where it will impact badly.                             of social media sites are there, where each negative impact makes sense and gives second thought to customer to thing about before going or it. Earlier due to poor services, i have switched from my airtel mobile number to IDEA. i think now its time of digital tv. i dont now how you can retain, but i'm very

                            Daily two or three times i'm getting a message "to renew the account otherwise it will be disconnected. I'm waiting for disconnection after that i will start a legal action against you.

                            Now stop sending such non-sense mails. and act for my problem that is pending from 03rd 0r 04th April. Now its more then 40 days for registering my complaint and you are saying you have not received my complaint."

                            I have not received any solution or reply for my problem. It's very strange that after raising the problem and mentioning your clearly that if this problem is not soled then you will loose your customer. Still there is no action and i'm getting the messages that renew or it will de-activated.

                            if this is your attitude then please go ahead and de-active it. i'm not going to renew if problem is not solved. I was not expected this behavior form AIRTEL.

                            i think this solgan fits you. "UNNCHI DUKAN FIKKA PAKWAN". I will not let you go. "
                            Nothing is resolved. Matter is not settled. How you can say its resolved. and what do you mean by resolved. Problem is still there and my connection is not working. My set of box is off from More then a month. i'm using it due to bad services.
                            Still My problem is not resolved. I have given my concern to resolve the issue. But still there is no action. Its more then 5 months and my purchase worth Rs3050 is wasted. Please take your product back and refund my amount. I have opted for cable option due to your bad response and service. So, please refund my money.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I am a existing customer of Aitel for last 5yrs with a post paid mobile number([protected]). Last month I wanted to convert my Postpaid number into a prepaid on date 09/04/2011. For the same I had submitted all the desired documents at the Airtel outlet near to my house (Twice at AEO-Sanghvi and Once at ARC-Aundh).But rather than getting a solution I did receive a mail that my number has been permanently deactivated & have been marked to provide any other customer.

                              So may I here to raise a concern, how come this number can be deactivate for me though I am a existing customer for this number for last 5 years and I need to keep this further.

                              I request you please take this concern as priority and provide me the resolution as soon as possible.

                                I just click a link on my some mobile application,after that i got a message that I have been charged Rs. 150 for subscribing for MOBILE TV,and without prompting me for this,how would i know that,i will be charged for just clicking. I want my money back in any circumstances.

                                I agree they have charged 150 automatically even after unscribing and on the top of that they have chaged 40/- for a week.

                                why two amount is is charged when already one month validy and mony is chaged.Can it be reverted either 40/- or 150/- my number is [protected]
                                The same thing happened to mine and my wife's airtel postpaid connections this month. Neither o[censored]s subscribed to the airteltv service. We didn't click on any link either.

                                Calling up the customer care got the charges reverted, but not before arguing for 15 mins with customer care representative.

                                This had seriously damaged my opinion of airtel. I am also an investor in Airtel stock, but am going to dump Airtel and port my number to a service provider with some ethics.

                                  customer complaints AIR TEL BROAD BAND UPEAST
                                  This is preposterous. All through the month not even for a single moment did I get a download speed of 2 Mbps (the contracted rate upto 20GB) - it was always below 1.1 Mbps.
                                  And now I am being told that we would reduce your speed under FUP to 250kbps.
                                  FIRST KEEP YOUR END OF THE COMMITMENT of 2 Mbps that is implicit in FUP. Without ever giving 2 Mbps you have no right to truncate my speed. Fare Usage Policy is a two way street and the sooner you understand this the better.
                                  You have no right to reduce my speed to 250kbps after 20GB if you never gave 2 Mbps in the first place.

                                  You can see my complaint mails all through the month in this regard and the speed has still not been restored. (Complaint mails sent on May 3, 2011, May 6, 2011 & May 9, 2011 plus four or five telephone one even today afternoon but to no avail.

                                    I hereby wish to submit a formal complaint regarding poor reception and transmission of RF signal within our Coverage area (Old Minister Hill Area, Nagaland,Kohima.) Recently, there has been a storm and ever since then airtel service users are experiencing poor and irregular audio quality as well as the cellular Link.
                                    Kindly, informed the concerned technical team and fix the issue.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      For payments made through cheques towards the phone bills, the customers are asked to drop the cheques in drop box and the staff in the 'Airtel relationship centres' refuse to give stamped acknowledgement.
                                      there are no answers given for the query as to who will be responsible for the loss of cheque after it has been dropped.
                                      I called up the airtel call centre who also confirmed that NO RECEIPT WILL BE ISSUED FOR CHEQUES DROPPED IN DROP BOX.
                                      I think the consumer has every right to demand the receipt for a cheque placed in the custody of a service provider. My telephone no is [protected]

                                        I have an airtel prepaid connection since 2006. Its a 999 life-time connection. Since the past 1 or 2 months, a 'cricket score pack' is getting activated automatically. I have tried deactivating it many times. It gets deactivated and the activated again the very next day. I called customer care. Their opinion is that I have responded to VAS promotional call, as a result of which, the pack has been activated. But, I never even listen to these calls, I just disconnect the call. Moreover, DND is also activated on this no. The last time I deactivated this package is[protected], 7.40pm. But this afternoon[protected], the pack is again activated and my account balance is deducted. I didn't even a single promotional call, I didn't send a request for activation of any VAS; then how did this pack get activated? Moreover, I cannot contact customer care as this facility has been blocked on my no. by Airtel. I want relief from this problem, please help me, Airtel officials, if you can.

                                        i started gettin cricket alerts 4 th ongoin ind-sl cri series, 4 which i didnt even subscribe to.At first i thought that it was a free promotional offer.but them i realised that i was being charged three rupees Per match day.all in all i have been charged 35 rupees till now without my choosing to subscribe . Please remove the pack and be kind enough to refund the mentioned amount ..
                                        I am also facing the same problem. When ever I recharge my mob i get an SMS of amount being credited to my account, but the balance shows zero or 5 paisa only. On checking with Airtel Customer care Service...the reason is given that it is because of some tech problem at their end. Will be resolved in few days. Since 25 Feb 2011 the time limit has been changed three times. Now I am told it will be credited in my A/c by 1800 on 28 Feb 2011. Mr Sunnil Mittal are U aware of it. Pl do some thing.

Thereafter, I continued to try for deactivation of this services on your *121#, 198 etc. But, till date this is not deactivated. Pl, do the needful as early as possible as I am no iterested in cricket.

                                        sir , i have been debited a sum of rs 36 from my account , a msg was delivered to me stating that you have been renewed a sum of 36 for your sms booster activation pack. but i have not activated any booster pack. pls credit me my balance as soon as possible.
