Hello My self Gururaj Gaddi Air tel cust ID:,[protected]
I purchased Sony Barvio 32 inch LCD at vijaya sales chinchwad-pune on 09/05/2011 afternoon.i got Airtel HD-DTH connection with it for which i was asked to reacharge 1000rs after it only service engineer comes and installs at my flat.
I generated my Cust ID with hell struggle with customer care(after calling 8th time)..each time when i call it will kept on hold for more then 15mins or line used disconnect...
after 4 days of purchse finally i got confermed that service enginner is booked for installation.on 13th service engineer installed DTH..he said activation will be done after 1hr....leave about 1hr...its 3rd day no activation.. :(...i am fed up calling Airtel customer care(however they never care)...
i think i spent more then 600rs on calling customers care..
please take action to activate my account.

i am sorry to tell,Airtel-DTH is first ever customer care which i seen so irrisponsive and non ethical.

    I'm getting a Low balance message on screen. Number of times i have called to customer care, reported my issue. They are telling few tips & tricks but it not works. From 02nd April'-11, I have start facing the problem. Spend lot of time to report this call to Customer Care and done lot of calls. When i asked them about complaint number, they said we don't have complaint number system. you can send mails.
    After discussing on phone from last one month, when i send mail on 2nd may and done lot of follow-ups then they replied me on 14th May with same tips& tricks story and saying that they don't have any complaint for this. I'm facing a problem from one month. Called on Customer care more then 10 or 15 times and they say their is no complaint. Pathetic Customer Care. I told them that i will recharge only if you will solve m y problem. But still they don't care about their customer pain. I called again on 15th May
    repeated complete story but still same story. I discussed with team lead "Mr. Gajinder". After listening my problem that he will revert back within 30 minutes.But no response. I called again after one hour and asked executive to connect me to Mr. Gajinder. They pit the cal on hold and after few minutes it disconnected. I have discussed this case with their number of team leads. Few of them i remembered, like Maninder, Perminder (boss of Maninder), Ruchika, etc. I told them i will not recharge untill you resolve teh problem or you can disconnect the services. Instead of resolving the problem, they have disconnected the services. Now, I'm start thinking to file a complaint in consumer court. I will not let them go. they have wasted my of time and given mentally disturbance. I suggest everybody, i you have sufficient tiem and mind to take bodrashen then go for airtel then choose any other. My few mails are attached below that i have sent them.

My account balance is sufficient. But i was getting the message. I have reported this issue on customer care. then as per their instruction i have done some solutions but still problem was their. From continuous few days i'm regularly calling to customer care, registered my complaint, every-time i got new instructions, i followed them discussed with three or four team leads but same story.

    During every call, new executive, new team lead but old story. After passing one month my story is same. Still i'm getting same message on my tv screen number of times a day. Everytime i have told your executives that its very im-braising that if somebody is sitting in your house watching the
    TV then this message comes. I done lots of requests but no response.

    It was my first experience with Airtel digital TV. What a pathetic customer care. I'm sending this mail to you just to tell you that now airtel has reached a growth where one or two or few dissatisfied customer will not impact. but this story will increase to the number where it will impact badly. Now lot
    of social media sites are there, where each negative impact makes sense and gives second thought to customer to thing about before going or it. Earlier due to poor services, i have switched from my airtel mobile number to IDEA. i think now its time of digital tv. i dont now how you can retain, but i'm very
    dis-satisfied.

So, don't get into it otherwise i have enough time and resources to legal fight against you for harrasment and mentally disturbance to your customer. I have record for every call in my bill and all the mails.

    Daily two or three times i'm getting a message "to renew the account otherwise it will be disconnected. I'm waiting for disconnection after that i will start a legal action against you.

    Now stop sending such non-sense mails. and act for my problem that is pending from 03rd 0r 04th April. Now its more then 40 days for registering my complaint and you are saying you have not received my complaint."

    I have not received any solution or reply for my problem. It's very strange that after raising the problem and mentioning your clearly that if this problem is not soled then you will loose your customer. Still there is no action and i'm getting the messages that renew or it will de-activated.

    if this is your attitude then please go ahead and de-active it. i'm not going to renew if problem is not solved. I was not expected this behavior form AIRTEL.

    i think this solgan fits you. "UNNCHI DUKAN FIKKA PAKWAN". I will not let you go. "
    Nothing is resolved. Matter is not settled. How you can say its resolved. and what do you mean by resolved. Problem is still there and my connection is not working. My set of box is off from More then a month. i'm using it due to bad services.
    Still My problem is not resolved. I have given my concern to resolve the issue. But still there is no action. Its more then 5 months and my purchase worth Rs3050 is wasted. Please take your product back and refund my amount. I have opted for cable option due to your bad response and service. So, please refund my money.

      Dear Sir,

      I am a existing customer of Aitel for last 5yrs with a post paid mobile number([protected]). Last month I wanted to convert my Postpaid number into a prepaid on date 09/04/2011. For the same I had submitted all the desired documents at the Airtel outlet near to my house (Twice at AEO-Sanghvi and Once at ARC-Aundh).But rather than getting a solution I did receive a mail that my number has been permanently deactivated & have been marked to provide any other customer.

      So may I here to raise a concern, how come this number can be deactivate for me though I am a existing customer for this number for last 5 years and I need to keep this further.

      I request you please take this concern as priority and provide me the resolution as soon as possible.

        I just click a link on my some mobile application,after that i got a message that I have been charged Rs. 150 for subscribing for MOBILE TV,and without prompting me for this,how would i know that,i will be charged for just clicking. I want my money back in any circumstances.

        I agree they have charged 150 automatically even after unscribing and on the top of that they have chaged 40/- for a week.

        why two amount is is charged when already one month validy and mony is chaged.Can it be reverted either 40/- or 150/- my number is [protected]
        The same thing happened to mine and my wife's airtel postpaid connections this month. Neither o[censored]s subscribed to the airteltv service. We didn't click on any link either.

        Calling up the customer care got the charges reverted, but not before arguing for 15 mins with customer care representative.

        This had seriously damaged my opinion of airtel. I am also an investor in Airtel stock, but am going to dump Airtel and port my number to a service provider with some ethics.

          customer complaints AIR TEL BROAD BAND UPEAST
          This is preposterous. All through the month not even for a single moment did I get a download speed of 2 Mbps (the contracted rate upto 20GB) - it was always below 1.1 Mbps.
          And now I am being told that we would reduce your speed under FUP to 250kbps.
          FIRST KEEP YOUR END OF THE COMMITMENT of 2 Mbps that is implicit in FUP. Without ever giving 2 Mbps you have no right to truncate my speed. Fare Usage Policy is a two way street and the sooner you understand this the better.
          You have no right to reduce my speed to 250kbps after 20GB if you never gave 2 Mbps in the first place.

          You can see my complaint mails all through the month in this regard and the speed has still not been restored. (Complaint mails sent on May 3, 2011, May 6, 2011 & May 9, 2011 plus four or five telephone one even today afternoon but to no avail.

              Dear Sir,
              For payments made through cheques towards the phone bills, the customers are asked to drop the cheques in drop box and the staff in the 'Airtel relationship centres' refuse to give stamped acknowledgement.
              there are no answers given for the query as to who will be responsible for the loss of cheque after it has been dropped.
              I called up the airtel call centre who also confirmed that NO RECEIPT WILL BE ISSUED FOR CHEQUES DROPPED IN DROP BOX.
              I think the consumer has every right to demand the receipt for a cheque placed in the custody of a service provider. My telephone no is [protected]

                I have an airtel prepaid connection since 2006. Its a 999 life-time connection. Since the past 1 or 2 months, a 'cricket score pack' is getting activated automatically. I have tried deactivating it many times. It gets deactivated and the activated again the very next day. I called customer care. Their opinion is that I have responded to VAS promotional call, as a result of which, the pack has been activated. But, I never even listen to these calls, I just disconnect the call. Moreover, DND is also activated on this no. The last time I deactivated this package is[protected], 7.40pm. But this afternoon[protected], the pack is again activated and my account balance is deducted. I didn't even a single promotional call, I didn't send a request for activation of any VAS; then how did this pack get activated? Moreover, I cannot contact customer care as this facility has been blocked on my no. by Airtel. I want relief from this problem, please help me, Airtel officials, if you can.

                i started gettin cricket alerts 4 th ongoin ind-sl cri series, 4 which i didnt even subscribe to.At first i thought that it was a free promotional offer.but them i realised that i was being charged three rupees Per match day.all in all i have been charged 35 rupees till now without my choosing to subscribe . Please remove the pack and be kind enough to refund the mentioned amount ..
                I am also facing the same problem. When ever I recharge my mob i get an SMS of amount being credited to my account, but the balance shows zero or 5 paisa only. On checking with Airtel Customer care Service...the reason is given that it is because of some tech problem at their end. Will be resolved in few days. Since 25 Feb 2011 the time limit has been changed three times. Now I am told it will be credited in my A/c by 1800 on 28 Feb 2011. Mr Sunnil Mittal are U aware of it. Pl do some thing.

                  i use a airtel prepaid no [protected],. .today 15.05.2011 i am top up Rs 250 first via SBI mobile banking service , then i check the balance by *123# it shown only 1 rupee in my main balance . I am too confused try another time top up same again 250 this time get 2 rupees talk time only .all of a sudden i got a message from airtel that i have no balance in my account.i contacted their customer care, and found out that the money is being added to my special account and my main account dosent have any balance.i dont know how much is charged for the call as when ever i talk i got a message that my account has a balance of 0 rupees, ,even my special balance have 500 rs . still i cant make any outgoing calls as my main account is very low and in a negative balance. all i have to ask airtel is, why you people want to cheat customers by saying a main account, a special account, even tough i have money as balance i cant make a call. is this called service?

                    My number [protected] is contactable.My other number is [protected].The speed improves and increases when i move out of home and reaches 30-34kb/sec in the morning.But at home the speed is 2-4kb/sec which is very annoying as i spend most time at home.Why is it so?
                    U called me on 21st n gave me 27th as the last date for solving this problem but the speed is where it was.Whats the use of filing the complaint here?
                    from last 6 months i use airtel internet but in last month price of internet pack goes to 145 (2GB) and 98 (1GB), but i still get slow speed about 6-7 kb/s. which is same as in 98 (2GB) pack.
                    i want to know that airtel increased price of their internet pack then why not give speed according to price.
                    speed of airtel is 2-3 kb/s greater then other companies but we pay about double then other.
                    if we belive in airtel then they should not loose their service......
                    sir, mene airtel sim me internet ka 199 ka plan activate kara ya h muje internet ke slow speed aa rahe h. aur disconnect bhi ho raha h.

                      I had a post paid connection from airtel for six months, in second month of service i call to cutomer help line to change mi billing address, an CCE ask me to walk up to airtel relationship center with one photo add proof and add id to make change.... i submitted my document twice in two months ...but nothing changed then i made 7 copmlaints and request to change my billing add... they always said that give us 7-10 days it will be changed after 6 months if srvice i told them not to call me againg for any kind of bill paymnet as i am fedup with your services, then after i stop using airtel service,, this is worst service from nations leading mobile service...

                          AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Excess deduction from my Recharge amount

                          I had got my account having customer ID [protected] recharged on 09.06.2009 by paying Rs.2500.00. I had subscribed for Value pack. Subsequently when Color channel was ousted from Value pack, I requested to top up the same also. My monthly charges should be around Rs.145.00 P.M. thereby making my recharge sufficient enough for more than 18 months. But I received an SMS on 18.12.09 that my digital TV a/c balance was only Rs.19.45, valid till 23.12.09. I got my account recharged with Rs. 1000.00 on 18.12.09 to avoid stoppage of service to my account.
                          I have sent email twice to '[protected]@airtel.in' requsting them to clarify as to how my account has been debited to last for only 6 months where as I had paid for more than 18 months. I have not received any reply from them. My last email was on 3rd January,2010.

                              I am suposed to get 6 sms from icici bank customer care between 10th to12th of this month. icici bank officials are asking me to complaint to service provider (Airtel, India). At the moment i am in UK. When i am getting sms from others why i am not getting from icici bank.

                                SINCE 12.02.2011 I HAVE BEEN CHARGED BY THE AIRTEL FOR THE SERVICES WHICH ARE NOT REQUESTED BY ME AND I HAVE LODGED WRITTEN COMPLAINT. SO FAR NO ACTION WAS TAKEN BY THEM. I HAVE VISITED THEIR AIRTEL OFFICE IN GANDHINAGAR BUT THE RESPONSE WAS POOR AND THE PROBLEM WAS NOT RESORTED. TODAY AGAIN THEY HAVE DEDUCTED FROM MY PREPAID MOBILE BALANCE A SUM RS.45/- TOWARDS CALLER TUNE WHICH WAS NOT REQUESTED BY ME. SO FAT THE AMOUNT DEDUCTED FROM PREPAID BALANCE WAS MORE THAN RS.300/-. EVEN I CALL ON COMPLAINT NUMBER I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR THE CALL AND THEY SAY THEY DONT HAVE ANY FREE COMPLAINT CALLED NUMBER. THE OUTLET PEOPLE ARE ASKING ME TO APPROACH THEIR OFFICE IN BANNERGHATTA ROAD. THEY ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO UNDERSTAND THE CUSTOMER'S PROBLEM AND THE VALUE OF THE CUSTOMERS TIME. THEY ARE CHEATING THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING THE SERVICES WITHOUT THEIR REQUEST AND DEDUCTING THE AMOUNT FROM THE PREPAID BALANCE WITH THEM ASSUMING THAT THE CUSTOMERS ARE FOOLS.                                 To whom so ever it may concern

                                An amount of Rs 300.00 has been deducted from my prepaid mobile No:[protected] on 9th Monday 2009. I called up the customer care on same day Morning 5 am; there is no proper response from your side. Again I called up the customer care for 3 times, they said the amount is deducted for the Caller tune songs--. More over the amount is deducted by around 3.30 am early morning; I do not know what's going on with the AIRTEL people and their service. I expect a fast solution to this problem by bringing it to your notice. If you could not, please let me know to whom it should be addressed to.

                                  I am using Air tel dish for last year and i was really impressed with it and with your service, but the recent experience which i had with your people made me to thing that i have chosen a wrong service.

                                  Here is my problem,

                                  Recently i heard that air tel provide movies now channel for the customer at 11.03 rs/m( sorry if i am wrong with the charges).i was interested in that and called up the customer service on 26 April in order to activate, the agent who attended my call checked with my account and said that it might take 5 business days to activate the channel since i am an existing since i am an existing customer. i was comfortable with that and ended up my call thinking that it might be done in the given time period , but that dint happen.

                                  Here is my second interaction with your people on 6th of this month. i made around 5 call to reach your agent and i got the information that your engineers will get back to me in another couple of days to fix the issues, but still i dint receive any calls from you guys and really fed up with this.

                                  people who are responsible for this , kindly address to this ASAP or i might need to change the service.

                                  Airtel Dish — set top box turns green in 20 minutes

                                  i have airtel dish connection. I installed it in aug 2009. but from last 2 months its sattop box taking 20 minutes to start or to get gteen light . so please get it repaired . mycustomer id is [protected] & my mobile no is [protected]

                                  i got an airtel hd activattion voucher with my sony lcd having s.no 1006695 and model no.46ex300 and the last date of its activation was 31st may. so on 31st may i called the helpline no. to activate it and they immediately generated an customer id for me which is [protected] and asked mew to recharge your id with 1000Rs. and call us back we will activate it within 15mins. so i recharged my account and called them but they said our system is upgrading so please call us after 1 hr. again i called after 1hr but the response was same for them about system updation, so called again and again with the gap of 1 hr until 8pm. then they answered me that all the information has been gathered from you and i have mailed to the concerned department so you do not need to be worried even if the 31st may passes away your activation can be done even after 1st june, so he assured me about its activation. then i again called at 11:30pm, that person replied that your connection will be activated now but while giving him all the details again about the packages and all he suddenly transferred my call to his senior executive named Sachin kumar mauraya. he answered me that its already 12:020now and your connection will not be activated now and even disconnected my call without even ansering my queries.then, again i called at 12:25am it was krishan kumar who answered me that it will be activated because your mail was been sent to the concerned department.
                                  on 3rd june at 12:05 ami i talked to mr ritesh who even generated an order no. for me which is 15787574. now today its 4th june i enquired about it again and they said your order is not been booked and you have to go an airtel dealer and another person gave me sony helpline no and talk to them..what is the matter sir, why everyone has different views, why they ask to recharge your account if its such a long process to activate it?.. please reply sir

                                    I have a subscription of Airtel Broadband 4 Mbps connection. I have been having technical problems with my broadband for last 30 days. The technician has been unable to repair the fault completely. The repair doesnt last more than 2 days and the problem again comes back. i have registered more than 10 complaints in last one month.

                                    The technician gave me his phone number but whenever i call him he never picks. He turns up only after we keep calling him for hours or sometimes even after 2 days of registering complaint. I am really tired of this problem. This is the worst service any customer could receive.

                                    I have also tried to talk to a senior person but none picks up the call. I do not know what to do.

                                    Please take care of my complaint as soon as possible or disconnect my connection so that i can shift to some other company.

                                    airtel customer care service are very poor my internet is not working since last 10 days and when i will call they never pik the call airtel provided very worst service to there customers
                                    Technician came on Sunday (15th May) and repaired the connection but again the same problem came on Monday morning. After that I have registered a complaint but still no one has turned up till Tuesday evening to repair.

                                    What a service Airtel... Keep it up...

                                      I was in the beginning [protected] tata number but before three months starting in February, 2011 the number [protected] as MNP plan ported from tata to bsnl and during the three months the problem faced in bsnl network, I have decide to ported my nos. as Airtel and applied the same and after that dated 04.05.2011 I received a message from no. 59110, time 20.06 "Your request for porting the [protected] to Airtel has been received." after that I received all the message which are in the time of porting when confirmation received in the old sim of bsnl. Your porting have sucessfully done, next day I collect my SIM from the shop, where I applied for porting and fill application form. When I insert the sim in my cell I already got 2 sms from my son's school from Airtel new sim but not possible to do call or receive call. I have suffering from heavy losses during time, I have already aware the problem ti Airtel customercare through email and call the same.
                                      I want you see my problem and take action to recover my loss and facility.

                                        This is a classic case of FRAUD by airtel. I am a consumer of Airtel fixed line & broadband services since 2007 and has been fully satisfied with the services till this incident occured. Due to my needs I felt like subscribing for new fixed line connection, and i thought, based on my previous experience, who better than Airtel. The sales team response was quick. The executive, Mr. Ajay Shukla Ph. [protected], handeled my case and I paid him the Cheque of Rs.500/- drawn on Bank of Baroda, which was encashed by the bankers. My new connection was installed and I was provided with a connection no. as[protected]. All was well till now. Suddenly after 15-20 days the connection stopped working. As a routine procedure I booked my complaint on the customer care. On doing so I was informed that this connection is not in my name as it is registered with the IT department of the company. I was flabbergasted because I had invested a lot on the new stationery of the firm and the above number was widely circulated through web and stationery of the company. The line man informed me that he is not able to configure how this number was provided to us and that there is no way in which I can get this number back again. Now I am running from pillar to post but to no avail. This has caused us great financial setback as well us unmeasurable loss due to non working of this number.
                                        Now I intend to approach the Consumer Court with my case.
