If you are thinking of getting DTH satellite TV, I would suggest stay clear of Airtel DTH!

For the simple reason: if something goes wrong (and it frequently does), you will go completely bonkers trying to get in touch with someone to register a complaint, or to find out why no one is the least bit bothered to solve the complaint.

They have toll free number, but believe me, it's absolute bull**t. It takes a long time before it gets to any option to 'speak to a customer executive', and then you will be on hold forever. Actually, it is not forever, since after 10 minutes, it will simply disconnect you, without even saying 'Goodbye' And for 10 minutes you have to listen to Airtel telling you how important you (customer) are to them, and to please hold on. What a F!&3*g joke. I have tried calling from different numbers, different phone operators (to make sure it was not a problem from my side), but the same result. In between, the IVR will tell you to press 9 to speak with a living person, but when you press 9, it will say 'invalid option'.

So the bottom line is...go with Tata Sky. Apparently, the best thing about them is their customer service. If that is the case, even if they are a bit more expensive, believe me, you'll thank me for this advice later.

Airtel Digitel TV — Pathetic after sales service

Airtel is pathetic at their after sales service. I have paid INR 4500/- for Airtel DTH connection for the year of 2011. Connection got activated in mid-Jan 2011 after sevaral reminders. My Airtel digital TV account number is [protected]. On 15th March'11 came the first surprise: My connection was disconnected without any notice on account of " low balance". When i contacted the dealer, he demanded INR 1000/- for activating the account without any logical reasoning for the additional money. However with the help of my building secratery we contacted a person in Airtel named Kartik who helped to activate the connection.
Again now in August connection was off on account of "low balance". I have been chazing Airtel person for activating the connection since last 5 days but no action has been taken from Airtel. Every time I call that Airtel person i hear a standard reply that the connection will be activated within 15 minutes. Its 5 days now and nothing has been done.
In spite of paying full money in advance, consumers are being cheated.

There is an addition to the misery.
Today morning I got a call from your dealer Sanjay Khandelwal's office where i was asked the customer ID. Upon sharing the customer ID i was told that they will get back to me within half an hour.
Post that I have called them minimum 10 times (in 5 hrs) but no response has come in.
Dear Team,

Exactly after a month, again the same issue has re-occurred. Again a message saying "LOW BALANCE". After these kind of series of miserable events I do not want to continue with AIRTEL DTH any-more.
Please arrange for an Airtel representative to pick up the set top box as I shall be switching to TATA SKY.
In case an Airtel representative (and not the dealer who has cheated us in the connection) does not turn up in two day to pick up the set top box, I shall throw off the box in dust-bin.
I would recommend to all to not to opt for AIRTEL DTH as the dealers cheat you and Airtel is not at all concerned about its consumers.

    I got a message from "AD-54321" stating that "You have been renewed for Eurofighter subscription service from Airtel, You have been charged Rs. 5. Get latest games at http://gclub.in/ea"

    What is this eurofighter, is it a game? I never subscribed for it and more surprisingly how can it get renewed, this is ridiculous. I want this subscription taken away immediately and all charges waived off towards this subscription. This is happening without my knowledge the not the right way.

      Airtel-Prepaid — Message Sending Failed

      I have been recharged with BOOSTER 61 which has 100 free sms daily. But now the messages are not getting delivered. It simply shows "message sending failed".
      Hi team, I'm also facing the same problem from last 3 days. Whenever i tyies to send any message it says "message sending failed". I have experienced this problem time to time. And it fix on its own sometimes. Could you please resolve this issue ASAP.

      Further, i would also like to know, why this problen often occures. Is there any bug/fault in sysetm or what?

      Hello my airtel mobile number is [protected].After sending certain number of messages approx 100 iam unable to send sms after that even though i know that sms is limited to 100 per day,,After sending 100 they could have taken money from main balance but thats not working it says "Sending message failed"...please help me...also nobody is answering 121 or 198 all i hear is the recorded voice fed up with this airtel connection

        I am just fed up with these massages I have already mailed to Airtel but they are not bothered to revert back & still massages are coming.

          Sub : Complaint reg broadband connection,
          REf : Application vide subscriber enrollement form Sl. No. 109081 dated 07/06/2010 , SEF No.RSP109081


          I had, vide my application cited above applied for an Airtel broad band connection for my residence at Flat No. B2-602, Lunkad Colonnade, Viman Nagar, Pune 411014, on 07/06/2010, furnishing therein, all necessary documents , viz. id and address proof. I had opted for a 6 months combo package ( 6 months tariff for 550 plan and DSL modem , as indicated by the sales executive), by paying Rs.3033.00. ( inclusive of taxes ), vide IDBI cheque No. 533595 dated 07/06/2010 for the amount. The application was submitted to the sales executive
          Mr. NITIN DEDGE, FSO Code 37463, having mobile number [protected]. He had assured that the connection shall be activated within 96 hours.
          The connection was not provided even after completion of the stipulated time. Itried to contact Mr. Nitin Dedge continously, but i didint get any response from his number. Subsequently I got a call from the modem provider, BINATONE, indicating that I have to make payment for the modem by cash and takle delivery of the same. As I was told that the package includeds the cost of the modem, ( as also indicated in the application form), I tried to contact Nitin , however, no reponse could be obtained. Subsequently, I tried to contact another executive Mr. Santhosh and Mr. Chetan, group leader for Airtel broadband services, Viman nagar, but none of them gave me any response. I approached your Broadband customer care centre in Viman Nagar on 13/06/2010 to enquire about the problem but they said they couldnt provide help either.

          I have been running from pillar to post for the last few days for getting the connection activated, however, with out any success. I had opted for Airtel to other cheaper alternatives thainking that you shall be providing better and faster services. I am utterly dissappointed the way your personnel has treated me. Further, it is observed that the payment has been duly debited from my account, but none of your authorised personnel has found time yet to even call me up and apprise me the situation, leave alone providing the connection.

          I request you to please attend to the problem at the earliest and redress the grievance before i am constrained to pose the problem to concerned applelate authorities.

            I have an airtel prepaid connection.
            I received an automated call from airtel customer care that my address proof is not verified and i should re-submit the documents within 24 hrs failing which my outgoing calls will be barred. As i was out of station at that time, 2 days later i went to an airtel office in Koramangala 4th block (Bangalore) and submitted the documents. They told me the services will be restored within 48 hours. By this time both my incoming and outgoing calls had been barred.

            Even after one week the number continued to be "invalid". I kept calling the customer care. First time they told me that they had received the documents and that it is being processed and will be restored in 24 hrs.
            Again after 2 days i called them again because there was no progress, the executive then took the complaint and told me that all my problems would be solved by 7th of june 2010.
            By the 8th of June and i had lost my patience and called them again, this time the executive told me that the number has been recycled and i had to take a different number. After expressing my annoyance at their customer service he transferred the call to a senior executive. Now this guy tells me that I was supposed to take a duplicate sim on the day of submitting the docs itself – point to be noted neither the airtel office people nor the ‘n’ number of customer care executives I had called before this had mentioned this. I think they expected me to “assume” that I need to take a duplicate sim.
            Forgetting the past, I went to the same airtel office (Internet Point, koramangala 4th Block, Bangalore). I told them all that had happened. He had no answer to why they had not processed my re-submitted documents. Then I “re-re-submitted” the documents and took a duplicate sim which was supposed to be activated in 48 hrs ie on June 12th 5pm. Now its past 89 hours – and my number is still invalid. I called up the customer care after 48 hours and they are telling me that they have not received the documents yet and have asked me to get in touch with the airtel office again.
            As if to assuage my fury, I learnt that I was not the lone victim of the irresponsibility of Airtel customer care. My friends who were trying to convert their postpaid to prepaid connection had faced similar problems. Also my relatives using Airtel in Kerala have also had such issues. Airtel might be good in coverage but our experiences give a very good picture about their customer service. Hope atleast after this complaint my number becomes “valid”. 

              hello sir,

              It is not relevant that Airtel is now applying charges to talk with customer care executive. Last night, I called to customer care to know about special offer for sms. After talking with CCE, I realized my balace was reduced. it is wrong that u are taking money to talk with CCE.In telecom sector no one is applying charges
              to talk their CCE
              So please remove these charges ,and customer can resolve his/her problem frequently.

                I am Sanjeev Nair, NRI from Abu dhabi. I have taken a pre-paid mobile phone connection from Airtel from a shop in Mallapally in Pathanamthitta Dist, Kerala in July 2009. I have paid Rs. 2500/- for my fancy number [protected] as demanded by the shop owner. He told me that this is a life time SIM and I have paid upto April, 2012. The message from Airtel also confirmed the validity of the SIM. When I left India, I had a balance of more than 2000 rupees and after coming to Abu Dhabi, I use to get messages from Airtel. Few days back, this SIM got disconnected, and i contacted my cousin to find out the reason. He says, there are some conditions for this connections, which was not told to me or informed me either by SMS or by any other means, in which if this connection is not active for more than 3 months, it will be disconnected by default. This is a total injustice to me as an NRI, who use to visit his home once in a year and spend lot of money on my mobile. How can
                Airtel disconnect my SIM which had an expiry upto 2012 and have balance of 1160 rupees, without informing me by SMS or Mail or Call ? I want to continue with my airtel with my same number, if they allow me to do so or get back the my money and take a new connection. Will you please consider my request?

                  Airtel's friend locator is a farce. The SMS confirmation doesn't work and says 'Keyword not found'!!! How are we supposed to add friends otherwise? The call centre does not even know that such a VAS product exists leave alone knowing how to handle these queries!!! The call drops since they can't fix this. I've been charged 10 rs with no result.

                  I completley agree with the above complaint. I too get the same message and the and the call centre guy named Karigalan(escalation dept) does not even know what this service is, he first denied that such a service exists and then he said that it is a 3rd party service and has nothing to do with Airtel at all..I had asked for the complaint call number[protected]. I even have arecording of the conversation. He said Airtel customer service will get back to me today... and I am still waiting.

                    My airtel mobile no. [protected] got recharched with Rs.98/- (Unlimited GPRS Pack) on 11.06.2010, which was activated on the same day and i used Mobile Office settings to surf the internet. Every thing was right till sunday when i tried Airtel live to brows the net and wrongly subscribed Yahho Mail (Hovever it was not required) which costs Rs. 10 for 7 Days. OK I have no problem for the payment of yahoo subscription but i lost Around Rs. 20 for that and i need clarification for that from airtel. Immediately i chaged my phone setting from airtel live to mobile office and surfed yahoo mail through application which was downlodaed earlier. Within 5 minutes i lost Rs. 15/- from my calling value. As per airtel portal browsing is completely free for airtel live and charge of 30 Paies/20 KB is taken for internet browsing through airtel live and there should not be any caharges for internet surfing/browsing when unlimited GPRS pack is activated. Then i called customer care around 1430 hrs. with request reference no. [protected] where i found Mr. Deep who was just trying to make me fool by saying that u browsed net with airtel live settings throuhout. This is very obvious that i better know what setting i am using. Anyway he did not give any clarification regarding the issue and refused to provide surfing details which means there is some hidded cost livied.
                    This is requested to provide my surfing/browsing details (Usage Data) and sunbscription information on my prepaid number.

                    AirTel — Unlimted internet surf

                    I got an offer " Unlimted internet download for just Rs 174.00 recharge". on that day i recharged the mobile with Rs.174.. there after, no internet acitivities and called the customer care and said "it takes 48 hours to get active".
                    after 48 hours still it is not working. again i called to Customer care and said "it takes 48 office working hours to get active."
                    however, after one months, internet connection is not working. They are cheating the customers by sending offer messages. Same way "Missed call alert" is not working properly.

                    Airtel — GPRS charges are levied

                    my mobile no:[protected]. I activated GPRS on 3rd March. I am using
                    Rs.98/- monthly plan ( 2 GB ) download.But whenever I am using mobile
                    net sometimes charges are being levied .On same day few times
                    deducting from my free 2GB data. Why its happing, i try to call to
                    customer care(198) to speak to service executive after five to two
                    minutes IVRS saying dial *121# from mobile and disconnecting
                    automatically. After trying lot of times to contact over Ph:198 for
                    lodging the complaint the staff is hanging the phone for 10, 15, 7
                    minutes respectively. the complaint ref No: CBDMO2o[protected] is given
                    respectively. But still the problem is not resolved, money is
                    deducting from my balance some times.
                    Hoping my problem would be solved and waiting for a positive response


                    on 11 th March it was deducted Rs 8.50 around 10PM, It is one exemple

                      What I have received for a couple of days now from Airtel DTH is the most disgusting and worst I have ever encountered. The ill-fated day that I chose to purchase this product has given me agony and stress.

                      The product was purchased from a dealer (Sri lakshmi - Hyderabad). The product was installed but the Activation was not done until 76 hours. After the Activation (after a lot of phone calls) the package was incorrect as I paid Rs.1750 (All packages for 3 months). However, I was provided with limited channels which is South Value. I then contacted the dealers again (Kapil - [protected], Kiran-[protected]) who have declined to help me and asked me to contact the Customer Care. I contacted the customer care and spoke to Vandana who by the way is deaf to my hearing. However, after a little persuasion she said that the package will be changed by the end of the day all of a sudden. When I asked for a reference number she denied providing me that and then hung up. I then waited for 48 hours and contacted again. This time it was Roshini. A little worse than Vandana she informed that my subscription was changed by the dealer from South Value to South Jumbo and that is the reason my balance now shows negative. I called the dealers back to enquire but no response for the past 3 days.

                      I am at a stage to destroy the DTH setbox and the dish in front of an audience of all Airtel employees just to prove my disgust towards this company's response to customers grief. I abuse myself everyday for purchasing the product.

                      I have already taken an oath not to purchase Airtel products in future and will educate everyone to do the same.

                      I hope this can be resolved sooner before I destroy it.

                      First of all Airtel customer care service representatives are too rude without any soft skills in them.. How ever i have subscribed to a Internet package of 750Rs on my line. Before activating i had contacted Airtel CC for the information related to 3G packages, the information communicated to me from CC was in 750Rs i will get 4GB 3G data and 2G unlimited. but today i.e. on 9/7/2014 i again called CC as i am still facing the problem of not receiving emails on my handset. However the agent was not able to resolve my complaint and she transferred my call to supervisor named Azmath who was rude on the call however he gave me a different information that in 750Rs package i will get 4GB 3G and post to that my speed would be reduced and i will be charge 3paise/10kb. Now i would like to know whether my problem on emails will be resolved or not and secondary i also want you to take an action against the person who has communicated the wrong information regardless its agent or Azmat supervisor.

                      First they give you a special offer which we can't activate via mobile.. I got an offer 126 re 3g 1gb on 5th of June.. Since it was not possible through my currency, I had to again go to d shop. There he says call customer care. N I've called them 20 times minimum but no one has responded to my ring n they have deducted their charges for calling customer care even though they don't lift d phone n talk.
                      I called them from numerous other numbers they give stories n put ur call on hold n never respond again.
                      This is d worst possible service. I request the requires action to be taken.

                        Every customer care executive have different and incomplete information about their services. They never give the full information and if we call again to confirm then they disconnect your call. I am very much dissatisfied by their services and new schemes they launched time to time.
                        case 1:
                        I called 121 to get the information about message voucher, they provided me info about 2 topups.. 1st Rs 50 and and 2nd Rs 64. & in 64, you will get 100 SMS daily.I recharged my mobile sim with 64 and then send the message, but my balance is deducted from main balance, then I call to airtel customer complaint at 198, they said, there is no recharge available for Rs 64 and disconnect the call. Then I call them again to reconfirm, they said service will be activated in 4hrs, so wait. That is how they deceive their customer.

                        there are so many cases in which they deceive me and my friends too by providing incomplete information.

                        never trust to airtel prepaid services.

                        Airtel prepaid mobile service — poor customer care services and misleading customers

                        i hav been using airtel for past 9 years, though i hav been using different numbers.as a customer i hav been feeling cheated a lot many times. they charge u multiplpe times for the single time service usage
                        they will deduct money from ur account i[censored] click for sum download on GPRS but wont deliver u the contact. at first i tried multiple times to bring this to the notice of company, by calling their customer care centers, but the executive sitting there are just FOOLISH people, or i shd call them OVER SMART. they are just too ignorant, and too mis-guiding.. every time u will call them they will tell u abt some new rule and will feel sorry for the inconvenience and will ask u to wait for another 48 hrs to get ur problem solved, after 48 hrs wen u again call, a new executive, explain ur problem again in full to him, and expect another lollypop of 48 hrs wait, and then call again after 48 hrs... sumtimes they just dont enter ur complaints ... they just do the formality of hearing u and keep playing with u as i[censored] r a football...

                        wen u ask them to provide u the number of appealent authority, they wont give u...

                        Myself Gunjan Sinha and i have done a biggest mistake that i have bought your airtel connection no. [protected] (prepaid) becoz you can automatically deduct an amount from prepaid mobile a/c and giving reason that I downloaded that and I activated what i never done.

                        The complain what i lodge on 17th July no. [protected] against Rs.25 had been deducted from my a/c and at that time my a/c balance was Rs.25.89 Paisa only and now your customer care telling that i have downloaded that Java game while i am using Nokia 5233 (Symbian) and the amount is going to refund.

                        And again on 19th at 12:44AM Rs10 has been deducted for 100MB free usage of internet while i have already done a big mistake to activate Rs.98 Monthly plan of mobile office on which i am getting NO GETWAY REPLY error since 2nd july it's complain has been already lodged which is not been cleared yet.

                        So Guys as customer i am saying that your all the services are ridiculous and all you are and your Airtel are a very big hacker who hack the amount from customer prepaid mobile a/c.

                        I am saying that refund my Rs 35 and apologize becoz Rs.35 is not very big amount but the way you are taking is a very much poor than a beggar type and airtel is not getting profit that's why they are trying to get the money like this.
                        And never try to buy Airtel connection if you want to buy for mobile internet purpose then Aircel is doing very fine becoz i am also using their services.

                          I, Rutuja Dabholkar, would like to complain about our internet service pro vided by Airtel bearing a/c no.: 15586787 & telephone: 42667664. Last month I had placed cancellation request for internet service at the Customer Care, request no.: 160186 (for telephone) & 160187 (for internet). From day one they have annoyed me, no installation on given date, wrongly charged for telephone service.

                          Their pamphlet stated that I could get 3 month's rental waived off. But they charged me month on month. At the time of installation their Sales Executive, Mr Manish Upadhyay (contact no: [protected]) FSO Code: DSA MUNFLS08 told me that this is a prepaid plan (wherein it was postpaid), being a prepaid plan I need to give an advance cheque of Rs 1650/- (monthly rental of Rs 550). When I asked for a discount, as I was paying 3 months in advance. He said for time being I give him the cheque of the asked amount and later on (after a week) he will return a cheque of Rs 150 (discounting Rs 50 per month) provided I don't tell his Senior, Mr Sudhir Jha (Contact no: [protected] ).

                          The very next day of installation when I called your Customer Care I came to know that I have been given a postpaid plan (mis-selling). That's when I approached my bank and asked them to stop the cheque payment (as in postpaid, first the bill gets generated and then the payment is done). As a result they charged me Rs 100 for Cheque Bounce Charges.

                          Mr Manish Upadhyay, told that as per Value Combo 550 plan every month I can get Rs 100 of calling free (which was not). When I exceeded my usage limit, their Customer Care Advisor asked me to upgrade the plan to Browser 699 (unlimited plan), again where I was suppose to get Rs 325 of calling free (utter joke). Month on month I'm being charged for telephone service. When asked, I was been told by their Customer Care Advisor that its free only if you call Airtel no. (which was again not informed to me).

                              I applied for Airtel DTH .I showed some interest on a airtel DTH website.. and next morning I was contacted by an agent from Vriti Infocom .He called me ten times to get the money and once I gave hiM the money he didnot even give me a bill. I got a bill on third day after requesting him/calling him 5 times .

                              He promised that an Airtel Engineer will come in the evening and install Airtel DTH and also activate it before he leaves.

                              But its been 7 days now. No one has come to me. Vriti people do not answer my phone call neither do they reply the emails.

                              Mr. Punit Saxena is the incharge here and he has stoPeed taking my calls too.

                              I am affraid that they might have cheated me and taken my money (4040/-).

                              I have completely lost trust in AIRTEL DTH and i m regretting my decision of chosing them. No company should make false claims if they can't stand upto them.

                              I won't be recommending Airtel DTH to any one.When i call DTH customer care I keep waiting for 10-10 mins and my call is kept on hold and no customer care representative responds.

                              DONT GET STUCK WITH VRITI. DONT GET STUCK WITH AIRTEL DTH too.

                              AIRTEL DIGITAL TV HD - VRITI — Payment made-no installation

                              I applied/express interest for Airtel Digital TV HD through airtel website on 10/08/10. Within 2 hours, I got a call from Mr. Harman Deep who told me that Airtel Digital TV HD is available only through vriti-interactive.com and provide me a link. I enquire him about the authenticity of his offer following which he provided me another website link where an airtel page opened and it showed that vriti-interactive is a partner of airtel.

                              He promised me that by 13/08/10 installation would be done. Accordingly, I made the full payment for mega pack and gave him the reference no.

                              After that , the person just vanished. He doesn't pick up phone despite numerous calls.Today is 13th august the deadline for installation as promised by Vriti but no sign of action either by Vriti or by Airtel.

                              I am planning to take suitable action against them both legally and through public forum/social networking site. After googling about these two companies, I found many complaints against them. So I have no doubt that both are hand in hand in cheating people. They believe that common people is too busy to seriously pursue the complaint. So time has come to show them some action from consumers side.

                              Similar to Mr. Jaspinder, I am having a similar experience. I reside in Panipat and provided my contact details on Airtel website as I was interested in buying a Digital TV HD.

                              Withing 2 hours (date 10.08.10) I got a call from Mr. Harman Deep who informed me that Digital TV HD could not be bought online through normal Airtel website. The same could be procured only through VRITI INFOCOM.

                              As I was skeptical about the issue, Mr. Deep send me a link of airtel website where it was shown that VRITI INFOCOM.is a partner of Airtel for selling in tier 3 cities.

                              As per given link by Harman Deep I made the payment and gave him the reference no. generated during payment. I was promised that installation would be done by 13.08.10.

                              However, I have not received any communication regarding installation of Digital TV HD either from VRITI INFOCOM.or from Airtel.

                              I have sent 3 mails to airtel but I am yet to get any answer (apart from computer generated acknowledgement mail).

                              Today is 13.08.2010 and if no desired action is initiated by VRITI INFOCOM or by Airtel, I would be forced to look for legal action and protest through public forum & social networking sites. There is already enough such incidents of fraud/cheat by VRITI INFOCOM/Airtel in various forums and a co-ordinated effort needs to be done to highlight these issues.

                                receiving blank calls from [protected] every hour on number [protected]. Please do something about this. I have been receiving all unwanted calls from different numbers. I have called airtel and they asked me to give a compliant to the police. As I searched google found that it was spam number. Please do look into this matter. I am fed up with the calls. If airtel does not take any action I will switch my service.

                                This call was from Citibank I recently took a citibank savings account(not a credit card) and they are giving me blank calls.Finally a guy spoke to me and said I have signed up for a credit card. This is a verification call Also the guy who spoke from this number said that I have signed in the column of credit card in the application form which I did not do.( Told him that I will file a case against the banking officer for forgery).

                                  I have been dialing 12150 tto connect to the custmer service Rep to get my Airtel DTH complaint registered. But every time I dial the option 2 after listing to the IVR - the IVR says transferring to rep and the call is dropped. I have now tried this more than 50 times but it seems they have programmed it that way to ensure their is not mouch of load on the customer support dept.

                                  AIRTEL DTH Custmoer Support is Screwed up - I suggest all to not buy it.

                                  Sadly, I experienced the same thing as mentioned by the poster.

                                  Airtel DTH customer care is truely pathetic. When I actually managed to get through after god knows how many attempts, the person starts talking in Bengali. This, after I have gone through the process of pressing 1 for English, entering the account number, etc, etc. Then she asks for the account number...duh, I already entered it...for what?

                                  I tell her, problem of no signal for past 4 hours. She says, how is the weather now. I say, it was fine 4 hours ago, but it is windy now. She says, that is why no signal. . Weather was fine 4 hours ago. Finally very reluctantly she logged a complaint and gave me a ref. number. An SMS sent confirms this, the SMS also has a mobile number to all in case of follow up. Guess what, the mobile number 'does not exist' Why am I not surprised.

                                  Every time it gets a bit windy, 'No Signal'. WTF. At least it should get better when the wind stops, but no. Some engineer has to come to fix, which will happen only tomorrow. Pathetic.
                                  Screw you guys.. Vinay and Airtel. You guys suck BIGGG time...

                                  I am disgusted and frustrated with how your customer call center is setup. Each time I call, it takes an average of 10 minutes to connect to someone and even then my complaint is not addressed. Only today, I booked for a movie on Channel 180, and though I got an SMS confirmation, I was not getting the channel. So I called up and finally got through at 10 pm. Already 1 hour got lapsed, and since there was a technical error on the side of Airtel, i asked the Customer care representative to address my grievance. He said he will connect me to the Manager and just went away. the phone was ringing for almost 7 minutes, and no one addressed the call.

                                  Obviously frustrated and feeling insulted, I called again and my call is answered in the 7th minute, and the same rigmarole continued.

                                  You guys really SUCK big time. My earlier DTH was Tata Sky, and I never had any problem with them. I seriously regret having shifted to Airtel.

                                    My Roaming incoming remained blocked in spite of repeated complaints to airtel complaint center. On friday(11/6/10) your respectful executive suggested me to contact the headquarters which fortunately gets closed by 1900hrs.....The next day ie on Saturday your esteemed headquarters remained CLOSED being a HOLIDAY!!!!! Wah kya service hai boss! I wish i could join the Airtel and serve the nation the way you guys are.... PROMISE NOT TO TAKE AIRTEL FROM NOW ONWARDS. Believe me I,will spread the word among my doctor community across armed forces.

                                      hi i m using airtel mobile office for internet connection since 2 months. since last 1 month speed is very very slow. after complainin they told to solve problem in 7 days i.e. till 7th june but still no solution now when i m trying to contact cust. care they r charging 0.5 rs every time for every 3 minutes but call is getting disconnected without any conversation with cust. care associate.there is no fault in my set as i m able 2 connect to net with TATA DOCOMO gprs with very hansome speed. my no.is [protected].

                                      airtel customer care sucks.. they use to say for transfering d call n disconnect d call after some minutes n charge for it without any help.. that sucks change ur sim to vodafone thats good,

                                        In march end gave a cmplaint that call drop, zero signal frequently happening and that we are not able make or take any calls-flat a 106,natrajan residency,padmaraonagar-secunderabad- the whole of the residency-especially south side, west side n east side the signals are weak....the signals from idea, dokama are clear........

                                        after the complant no action has been taken ad after few weeks we have called again and we are told that the issue is sorted out- how can jissue sort out without anybody coming and inspecting our home and premises? after my 2nd complaint people came and verified and gone...no information to us. on 29th april i have written to ombudsemen on the same issue and also that generally whole of hyderabad airtel is becoming weak and many main roads and buiding signals are zero and still airtel is expanding and wants more subcribers without addeing service level......

                                        after the complani 2-3 calls came and updated me and finally in may mid peole from ericsson came and tested and suggested that signal boosters/enhancers have to be kept and that airtel concerned people will come and so far no one came......meanwhile i canceeled my 3rd airtel mobile-[protected] in lei of bad signals/services and i got calls saying 2nd june is the dead line and requested me to keep the sim..i was adamant and cancelled the sim...now we are at 11th June and problem is same and no body from airtel bothered.

                                        now i have planned to canacel other airtel sim and switch to Dokomo immly.

                                        Please see that the company is penalised for negligance, carelessnes.

                                        AirTel — NETWORK - CALL DROP

                                        The AIRTEL services in delhi are by far the most irritating and disgusting. The amount of Call Drops is crazy the customer care is another bunch of fools. I have been facing this problem of Call Drops in the East of Kailash Area in New Delhi for over a year now. Even though I took the pain of reporting this to the customer care but the complaint has been open ever since.

                                        I also noticed another thing that the call drop always follow a pattern in my case.. the first call gets dropped in abt 20 secs and then the second cal to the same number would get disconnected after 50 seconds and so on. Logistically AIRTEL charges us for each call that we make irrespective of its duration or even if it was dropped due to their network problem.

                                        The amount of money spent on misleading advertisements about their unbreakable network coverage. If they spend this money on their network quality it would be worthwhile. I hope this reaches the right eyes and ears.
