Dear Sir/Mam
I have a Airtel connection for Punab Region No [protected].Which was with me foe the last five years.I have taken validity till Decemder 2012.Suddenly last year i moved to delhi as i got transfered to Delhi.As i not use my number for around 3 months when i check my sim it got broker.I contacted on cm care for the issuance of new sim but i got shocked to know that the number is transfered to another person.My issue is
1.How can you transfer it without consuling me.
2 As i have paid for valadity which is till 2012.how can you deactivate my number.
I request you to kindly help me out to activate my new number.I shall be very thankful to you.

    I have been airtel customer for the past 3 years.
    Always I think Airtel gives the best customer service. That why I also got Airtel Broadband connection too.
    But, Now a days I have some problem with their service.
    Without my request, they activate friends chat service and immediately charged Rs.30pm.I call to customer service and they said this service is activated becuase of your request. I said i dont need that service atall and request them to deactivate immediately.
    They promissed to deactivate the service. But Again I charged Rs.30.
    Again I call to Customer service, Again they give the promise.
    Later I make a call to confirm the status, they said that the service still in active and again they give the promise to terminate.
    After that I have charged Rs.10 for 10 days regarding this friends chat service. This time i got more angry and make a call to customer care and express my angry mind. They terminate the call.
    After that they activate Hellotunes immediately and charged for Rs.10 for 10 days to revenge me.
    If i not getting proper action I decide to go for Aircell now and shy to said as airtel customer.
    Today most of the connections are closed because of poor service.

      Sir,
      i am vijaya deni working as a deputy jailor in central prison, visakhapatnam and using airtel prepaid connection with number [protected] for last 8 years. Recently on 20th december i have recharged with Rs.401/- for getting 1000 airtel to airtel minutes and 400 airtel to any GSM sms. i have received the above amount and using it. On the same day i have recieved a message from airtel that i have been given 30 airtel to airtel free minutes for using Rs.125/- talktime in one day as privilage on 22nd all of sudden my airtel to airtel balance of Rs.878/- has been cancelled and the message balance only remained. On 23rd december i have given a compliant at about 3.30 pm regarding my balance with request number [protected], the cse told that its not their duty and it is the duty of technical support people and they will call me and rectify the problem by 28th december. i gave another complaint on the same day with request number [protected]and the cse told the same story. On 24th december afternoon i received a call from tech support and they told my recharge details is not available with them and advised me to contact customer care once again. Then again i called the customer care and the cse has connected my call to the supervisor he told that my problem will be rectified by 29th december with request number[protected]. Then i kept silent till 29th and on 29th december at about 11-30am the cse mr.Jagajeevan babu with out listening to me he told that your problem will be rectified by 4 pm today and disconnected. i made 2 ,3 call s that day the response is same. Again at aroung 3 pm i received a call from tech support people and they promised that my problem will be rectified by 5 pm today. Then i waited till 7-30pm but nothing was done, again i made calls to customer care and spoke to mr. vinod, cse and he is not giving correct information i have requested him to transfer the call to his supervisor then mr. venkat, supervisor spoke to me and told that it will take another 48 hours and your need not call next time for this same problem and it will be rectified by 31st december with request number [protected]. but nothing was done. On 31st again i made calls to customer care and asked me to connect to the supervisor they just keeping on line for some time disconnecting the call. this was happend twice. Again and again i made calls to them then supervisor Srinivas came online and said that your was not rectified and it will take some more time and i have to wait till monday that is on 4.1.2010 then i requested to transfer my call to him manager then mr. pavan kumar, manager came in to line and told that your problem might have been cleared by this what happend i dont know i will check call you back and your problem will be rectified soon i will take this problem with highest priority. Then i have waited till 7-1-2010 because of my busy schedule and made call to customer care again and spoke to mr, suresh and and requested him to connect me to mr. pavan kumar, manager he kept me online for 15 minutes and disconnected the call. Again i made call and spoke to mr. kiran cse he also asked me to be online and connected to escavation manager shahin spoke to me and proper response was not there she simply told that your problem will be rectified and pavan kumar is not in the office and she told that she will get back to me by pavan kumar within half an hour. but till nothing was done. Hence i am forwarding this message for kind perusal and immediate action. Because of this i am unable to wish my friends and relatives for christmas and new year, and the validity of the recharge will alos expires by 19 th jan 2010. Hence i request to kindly take immediate action on airtel and to instruct them to solve my problem and extend the validity period from date of first compliant to date of rectification time (more than 15 days). That may be included in my validity of that recharge voucher.

        Hi Sir,

        I have been charged with Rs 30 for Audio Movie pack which I have never subsrcibed for. It is not abt 30 Rs but airtel is giving me such services with out asking. Also when I tried to stop the service it is not reaching to the destination Via Online replies.

        Also, whenever I try to Call up Call Centre, either there service is down or they are not able to find the details.

        Please advise.
        Sirs,

        Now days i have been charged without my knowledge by different service prescribed by Airtel. Last month Rs.70 after complaint to call centre, I got only Rs. 20 refund for Airtel Radio service pack.

        Again this month Rs.30 for Audio Movie pack which i didnt activate, for that i given the complaint, This shows their mistakes by Known.

        Please advise as a consumer

          i have seen many times customer service of airtel is not upto the mark.on 8th Jan i was trying to send mms,but some how it was not sent may be because of network problem or any other reason.then when i checked my balance,it showed 20 Rupees deduction from main balance and when i tried to call customer care number,no option was available to customer care executive.this is something not acceptable from the company like Airtel.it was also happend earlier but i did not complain.now it is too much,so i had to complain.

          I HAVE A AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION WITH ACCOUNT NUMBER 14566993 HAVING TARIFF PLAN 599 Rs. NOW I CAME TO KNOW FROM SOME OF MY FRIENDS THAT THERE IS ONE MORE PLAN OF Rs. 499 HAVING DOUBLE SPEED AND DOUBLE NO OF CALLS SO I CALLED YOUR 121 SERVICES FOR CHANGE IN MY PLAN. SOME OF MY OTHER FRIENDS ALSO DID THE SAME. THERE REQUEST WAS ACCEPTED AND THEIR PLAN WAS CHANGED. BUT MY REQUEST WAS REJECTED REQUEST NO. 30753450 AND FIRST THEY ACCEPTED MY REQUEST AND SAID THAT IT WILL BE ACTIVATED IN 3 DAYS BUT NOW THEY ARE DISAGGRING TO IT??? WHY IS IT SO???WHY IS YOUR COMPANY NOT STABLE ON ITS COMMITMENT???? PLEASE ANSWER?? I WILL NOT HESITATE TO KNOCK THE CONSUMER COURT FOR THIS.

            Dear Sir/ Mam,

            This is to inform you that me Mr. Vishwanath Roy gifted this no.([protected]) to my sister n she was using this no. since last 2 years, but have never faced this problem, of not receiving the Bill on time. But since last 10-11 mnths she is not getting the bills on time. We have complain abt the same many times to airtel, bt all in vain. Everytime they come up with a new excuse, but they admit thet the fault was 4m there side.
            On the contrary still they were bothering my sister by calling up every day in every hr, inspite of our informing the same that we have not received the Bills n now we need a waiveoff of Late Bill Chrgs which is around Rs. 50-Rs75 per mnth.
            But no action has been taken on the said. More over they have cancelled my registeration once b4 n even now. This cancellation was done two mnths back from date, n again today they came to my place with the oustanding. While conversation with them abt the same they are threatning me that if i dont make the payment of till date then sever action will be taken against me & now they are openly saying that what ever the reason of not receiving the Bills they dont care.
            Hence, we humbly request you to kindly look into the matter & help us.

              I am from Chennai and a long time user for AIRTEL. Occasionally I have to visit Bangalore and so require national roaming. ie. I must be able to receive and make calls without interruption.

              In the past, I had problems. Even though Airtel is a big national player with all India presence and in Karnataka too, I could not get the comnnection. When I took my complaint to the Airtel office in Malleswaram, they told me that I have to contact Chennai Airtel office. THIS IS THE FIRST COMPLAINT. ie. not responding to customer and disowning responsibility.

              Yesterday (07/Jan), I had to be in Bangalore for a planned visit. So day before yesterday (06/Jan) I went to the local Airtel office - in Chennai, before my visit - to confirm that national roaming is available and I would have no problem. They confirmed that national roaming is available and I would have no problem. But the same problem occurs again. ie. no connection. It is very emabrressing and I lost time and opportunity. This is the second complaint. ie. PROMIING BUT NOT PROVIDING SERVICE IN OTHER STATES - WHEN OTHER PROVIDERS ARE ABLE TO DO SO.

              Even i have the same issue with my mom's number. She is using a Airtel postpaid and whenever she comes to Bangalore, there is no connectivity in her mobile. Roaming should automatically get active, but why this issue is often occuring. Please check the issue. If this continues then there is no use of having a mobile in the emergency case.
              I have the similar problem. I reside in Srinagar and am using airtel number [protected]. I am a frequent visitor to Delhi and other north Indian states. Recently on a visit to Delhi my number didn't work.
              Previously I was using an Aircel number that worked throughout the country.
              Please let me know what am I supposed to do to get roaming on my number. Otherwise I have no option but to switch over to some other network.

                my i.d no. is [protected] this set top box was installed in the month of oct. 2009 . Right from day of installation one or the other defects cropped up . Numerous complaints made to the local dealer were never attended to by the company"s engineers . On 24 of dec. a complaint was made to the company representative Mr. Bhagvat who promised to rectify the defect but till today nobody has turned up . A complaint was today launched with customer care cell of Airtel and assurance was given that the complaint would be rectified by 1600 Hrs today . Again no action has been taken which now forces me to take the matter to Consumer Forum at your costs and consequences arising there of shall entirely be the responsibility of Airtel DTH meanwhile i m throwing out this junk provided by the company.

                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                  I have Airtel Digital TV (DTH) connection. When I have taken the connection, I have subscribed the package 125+tax (South Value).

                  After 6 months without informing to the customer (me), they have changed to 325+tax (South Mega Plus package (come to know after discussing with the customer care service agent)). I recharged the my digital TV account 2 times with amount of 300. Within a month I received the message my account balance is low, then I verified and come to know that, they have changed my subscribed package without my knowledge.

                  I am facing different kind of issues with Airtel Digital TV (Some time not working at all), I complaint many times, it is not resolved properly.

                  I asked to connect to their manager, they are kept me to wait for long time(nearly 1 hour many times) after that no one will come over line or if some one in line, some irrelevant answers.

                    my name is achla singh n i use ur company airtel prepaid card. i have recharged my prepaid with Rs 225 isd low rates voucher but have not still got my balance. i have registered the complaint with customer care so many times but nothing has happened. my complaint no. is[protected]. i want my isd balance. its more than 2 weeks now but nothing has happened.
                    I have also recharged my prepaid with Rs 225 isd low rates voucher but have not still got my balance.I cant even Check my ISD Bal because they didn't even Msg me the A/C No after Recharging .We are Frequently Calling Customer care but they are not responding.

                      this is komal harchandani from jaipur. i have Airtell Braoadband Internet Connection . My complaint is that i received a call fromm Airtell Broadband Collection Departyment from mention number[protected] due to some reason i couldnt pay my bill which is 1162 Rs. so these people called me on 6th Jan 2010 at #.30 pm in afternoon and Mr. Natvar who works in Airtell spoke to me in a very bad manner and started shouting on me whereas i was talking to him very politelly and when i lost my patience i told him that kindly speak to me properly dont you have manners then he said that then why dont you guys pay your bills? we are not your servents. This is our job to speak to our customers like this so they pay the bills . And i didnt say no that i wont pay my bill i said yes i will pay but you send me your concern person to collect the money but he didnt listen to me and he was continously speaking false language to me
                      Kindly take this matter seriously and just need an apology call from that person and i will pay the bills.

                      sir we made a complaint to disconnect our broadband service in september but stillyou didn't take any actions about our complaint and sent bill of amount Rs.2033/.yesterday i.e on 19/11/2010 and asking for bill payment but we madecomplaint before 2months itself.we can't afford to pay the bill because we didn't use any services from the date we made complaint.so please take immediate action to disconnect our broadband service

I made a payment of Rs. 4000 by cash to an Airtel executive and got a call from Airtel office in Bannerghatta road where a representative confirmed that the payment of Rs.4000 by cash has been received. But it is not posted on to my account he also confirmed the receipt number over the call which I have recorded. Even then they have disconnected all my incoming and out going calls. When I went to Airtel office in RT Nagar branch they are asking for the photo copy of the receipt which I have lost it. So, please do the needful I want to sue Airtel for lack of communication.                                 I have used 139 railway enquiry for getting information, for that i was charged Rs.3/- per minute. Is this number is not toll free? please reply me. If it's toll free please refund the amount charged for me.

                                If the number is not toll free.. Could Govt will think it to make it as toll free, since its has to be Value added service for its customers. will the related authorities think about that.

                                there is only one number available for airtel customer for railway enquiries. this number non interactive with limited informations with Rs3 pmt. Request airtel to provide adequate railway enquirey facilities for frequent travellers.

                                  I have an airtel connection no [protected] (Maharashtra Activation) its on my Father name taken 3 years back. From the last 22 Days, i am facing connection problem.I have received incoming call/SMS,but i can't make outgoing calls. Whenever I am in Mumbai (Roming area) I was able to make Outing call.I have continuously making this complain from the last 21 days in the customer care and they always assure me that necessary action will be taken within 24-48 hours but nothing happen till date.And also I have face another problem from last 9 months to 16 Dec2009 when the accedient hapened at their network exchange of catching fire, when i make call recorded cassete play i.e. "Your outing calls has been restructed,so please contact with our costermercare on 121" & then after call was connect & it was completed sucessfully.And also I am not able to contact to customer care no 121,123 or [protected] from 9 months.

                                  From 16th Dec to till date I was not able to make outing call,and when i make call recorded cassete play i.e. "For low tarriff rate call our customer care on 121" & then aftercall was not complete.

                                  I request you to please help me.

                                    I am J. Nataraju and my number is [protected].
                                    I took this postpaid conection few days back for which they asked for address verification. I provided with everything and gave them a day to come and veruify the address. I put everything correctly but they enetered my address incorrectly in their database. Some person from Airtel called me and told that we came to your hoem but you was not there so please give us time when can we come and verify address. I gave them time. After few days they send me a letter to my office about the postpaid plan and my rental things on which there was wrong address. I complaint to customer care that addres you wrote is wrong then where you went. They said sorry and corrected the address in their database. After 2-3 days I got a call for address verification and when I will be available. I told them to come on weekend and specifiy the time. Nobody came to house to verify my address. Now suddenly they barred my outgoing service. I went to Airtel outlet and tell them the problem. The desk people talked so rudely and asked that your address was not verified and so service barred, I told that nobody came to address verification for which they replied that a person came to your house on Monday (which was a regular working day and which I dint metnion to meet me) and he dint find you. I tried to explain that it is my office day how can I be at home and also dint come on my told time, for which desk people replied very rudely and said no change can be done to your service and we are cancelling your number. Even its not my mistake but those guys are putting all things on my head saying why was you not there, give some a thought that how a bachelor working person can be at home on workign day.

                                    They are not ready to help for anything. Its like a mentla harassment, I just cancel my old number and gave this number to everybody and if they cancel again I have to cahnge my number. Is for this type of service BHARTI AIRTEL will be proud of ?

                                    Nothin has been done to resolve my issue. The worst part is that my service is suspended but they have generated the bill. They are asking to pay the bill. I had already paid 700, even when the bill was not generated. By providing this type of service do they have the rights to say that they are the best in service provider.
                                    I doubt they have read my complaint.

                                      I am writing to you after receiving a very bad response and taste from Airtel employees.

                                      On the 28th of Nov 2009, an executive from Airtel came to my house for a broadband - wifi connection. He made me fill the form and took, photograph, residence proof and a 1500 rs cheque on the condition that he will get the internet up and running maximum by 30th Nov. He first said that it will be done in the next 24 hours or maximum by 30th nov.

                                      Till 1st Dec, I did not get the connection. Then I spoke to Mr Parikshit Sharma at customer care . He told me that the executive had committed a date of connection by 12th Dec and that it will be done by 12th Dec.

                                      I was given a complaint number: 27190006 by customer care and confirmed that it will be done by 12th Dec. I then wrote to Mr Sandhu, Nodal Officer, NCR region of Airtel and asked for his immediate attention on the matter.

                                      After receiving no response, I cancelled my airtel wifi connection application on 6th Dec. I was promised by an executive Ms Preeti Sanjeevan that she will cancel the application and that the refund will be made withing a weeks time. She also assisted me in getting an airtel data card connection which is horrible and doesnt work at all.

                                      On 24th Dec, I called Preeti who was not avaialble and spoke to the Team Leader Mr Joginder (mobile: [protected]) who confirmed that the application was cancelled and because of the slip up of his executive, the refund was not made. He promised that the refund will be made by 1st jan 2010.

                                      Today, 6th jan, I called Joginder again who said that because of some executive's fault, they caould not send the payment and now he wants me to wait for another week.

                                      I am sure such goo[censored]ps are only made by AIRTEL. I have used a reliance datacard and currently have two vodafone connections, where I have never ever called the customer service as I have never faced any problem.

                                      I have sent this mail to assist me in dealing with AIRTEL exceutives as I am mentally harassed by calling them and requesting them for help on a daily basis.

                                        I having three postpaid Airtel connection has no coverage in Mahul (at Chembur in Mumbai), but other services have full coverage. This problem I am facing since one month we cannot attendant any calls because of this coverage problem. Moreover, I 2nd time sending for mail for Indian consumer but no replay so please take immediate action.

                                        I reside at Bikarnakatte / Jayashreegate area in Mangalore. We used to have good signal in our area. But now since the last 8-10 days, there is no signal at all. All Aritel customers in our area cannot call or receive any incoming calls coz of no network coverage. People are beginning to change their Aritel SIM cards and buying SIM's of other providers. Please address this issue at your earliest convenience.

                                        This complaint regarding Airtel network coverage. I have been complaining to Airtel people for last 4 months that network coverage is bad in my home & surrounding area. Every time they have been saying will install tower in your area but till now never happened.

                                        Hi,
                                        I have 2 airtel connections (1 prepaid and one post-paid). airtel does not seem to have any network coverage in my area i.e. Crossings Republik, NH-24, Ghaziabad. Inside the flats its very hard to get even a single network. So when at home the person either has to go out to make calls (that also does not ensure network will be there) else the number will always be OUT OF REACH (because no network)
                                        Do the needful in this regard. There are around 50-60 families here facing the same issues.

                                        My complaint is airtel has short coverage in my village( kottarakara, poovattoor east). The tower situated atleast 4 km in my home. Pls install airtel service provider in village(poovattoor).
