I had surrender my AIRTEL Postpaid connection in Month Oct. with paying all the sttandby bills. After that I have recieve the Letter to pay the balance paymnt of Rs 548. Mob No :[protected].

As all are aware AIRTel never surrender or disconnect the services until and unless they reciev the full payment from customer. Although Airtel customer service team is thretening for to pay the bill.

Pl Note. stop all your nonsesnse activities niether I will launch complaint aganist AIRTEL for mentaly harrasement, unnecessary disturbance. hence clear the matter from your end and stop calling of sending letter Immediately.

    I had taken a broadband connection for telephone number [protected] in August. One of your executives (Chetanya #+91 [protected]) came got me signed up for a connection with a speed of 2 mbps, informing me that it had a download limit of 400 GB. Since I am an employee of Deloitte, I was told that I would have to pay Rs 400/- per month under the corporate plan. However, at the time of installation I was informed that the plan had a download limit of 2 GB. I immediately asked the executive to not install such a connection and told the people who called me for a confirmation call the same. Then at the request of the executive who had misinformed me, I let them give me a connection with a speed of 256 kbps, unlimited download and a monthly payment of Rs 799 per month. I got the installation documents, paid Rs 1500/- as installation charge and got a confirmation call for the same.
    However, at the end of the first month I was sent a bill of Rs 36,000/- and the connection was cut off. I started making calls to complain but all I got were promises that someone would get in touch with me. The call never came and the call center executives refused to let me speak to a manager in charge. I even went to the customer care center but I was just directed to a telephone line there and was informed that there was no manager in charge who could hear me out. The gentleman who installed the connection said that it was a problem in the system, that someone just didn’t update the correct details. After a month of receiving the bill and the connection remaining disconnected I got another bill for Rs 50,000.
    It has been almost 6 months and nothing has been resolved. I have spoken to executives repeatedly who promise to call back in a day and don’t follow up. The manager I was speaking to, Praveen Chaudhary (# [protected]), I am informed has left your organization and a gentleman called Anil Kumar now answers to this number and has no clue about the matter. So has the representative from your legal dept. who goes by the name of Rajesh (#+91 [protected]).
    I have been lied to, cheated for my money I paid for installation, billed for a connection I never wanted to begin with and harassed endlessly. And still it seems that nobody besides me cares about the problem since I am the only one still wasting my time trying to have this resolved. I have no idea how your company is still working when executives are lying without a conscience, call center employees aren’t competent to even understand a problem let alone resolve it, representatives and managers don’t care about a bill of Rs 50,000 outstanding like it is the most trivial thing and the ones that do just quit. I have finally decided to stop trying so this is the last time I will be doing anything about this matter and after this if I am still harassed any further I would have no choice but resolve to a more serious action.

    I too noticed that there has been unauthorized download from my Airtel Broadband. I too am a employee of Deloitte Hyderabad and the plan has 2 GB download limit. I am shocked to see that 4GB of download has been done on my account. I called customer care but as you said its of no use. I am waiting for my bill to come and I am sure its going to be in thousands. There is some problem in the system of Airtel because of which this kind of bills come.       Please note below the complete history of my complaint. Till date there is no response from the Appellate & Nodal authorities, other than automated acknowledgements. I am sure this is the result of arrogance due to market dominance by Airtel. But will it last long with such attitude??? I wish not!!

      I would like to bring to your notice a serious grievance regarding the above subject which is pertaining to Gurgaon Haryana. I am writing to you since I do not have the email i.d of the Gurgaon nodal officer. I would request you to either handle this complaint yourself or forward to Haryana officer for his express action with information to me.

      My son Ashwath Ramdas has recently shifted to Gurgaon to join company X from 15th January; hence he wanted to change to a post paid connection from his present Tamilnadu prepaid connection ........ which he had obtained after returning from the U.S. after post graduation. His old post paid connection (discontinued in 2007 August) was ..........

      When he went to an outlet in Gurgaon (mobile no. [protected] I do not know the add.) they insisted on his giving the temporary rented room address near sector 25 even though he gave them company address with document proof of the appointment letter.
      Of course he showed them his passport for his permanent address in Madurai.This happened on 17th Jan. sunday. He was issued a simcard (no. [protected]) with phone no. [protected]. He clearly told them to come for address verification after 5:30 in the evening only but they came on monday, tuesday at 2:30 pm. There was no helping response from the local cus service or the above outlet no ([protected]).

      But till date his no. has not been activated even though we have spoken daily to cus service ([protected]) - Prema, Ajay, Mandeep, Vandana are the call recievers who assured that the activation will happen within 72 hrs ie. 20th evening. Yesterday Vandana has given me a complaint no. 30559488 assured that the complaint has been forwarded to higher ups!

      Today when I spoke directly to the outlet no in the afternoon I was assured that I will be called back soon but there is no response till the typing of this letter (9:50 pm). On the contrarfy when I called again again I got either out of range or switched off response!!
      You can understand how many STD calls I have wasted for trying to resolve this since my son is still holding Tamilnadu prepaid card.

      I am disgusted with this attitude from Airtel of which I am subscriber since 2002 03 in both landline (0452-.......) mobile-98940....... I also have an add-on connection 99449........ Is this what we get despite being part of the Airtel family since its inception !! Is this the result of being a dominant player in the market I am sure you understand that the tide can swing other side if this attitude persists in the organisation.


      I would request you to resolve this dispute along with your Haryana counterpart immediately. I am marking a copy to my son s email i.d.

        Dear Sir I am Jitesh Panwar, I am the customer of Airtel Prepaid Services, with mobile no [protected] from Rajasthan , on 27 Jan 2010, I went for recharge of no. first I Recharged with 100 and I got the balance of 10 Paisa, Then with Rs. 333 in which we get full talktime and I got the amount of Rs 166.43 with Trans ID [protected].
        After keep on trying for a lot of time to Airtel Helpdesk I got no answer and I was charged for the same.

But mere oh schme 1 month ke pahale hi khatam ho gaye hai. to maine customer care se bat karke pata Keya to oh bole ki kuch technical problem ki wajahse yha scheme band ki gaye hai. To use time mujhe oh 8 Rs. wafas de gaye the. or bola gaya tha ki app aye scheme chalu rakhane ke liye 26 ka recharge karo to apko 1 sal tak ye scheme calege. to maine 25 Dec. 2009 ko 26 ka recharge kya tha. oh mere scheme 4 Feb se band kar di gaye hai. to maine customer care se bad kari to mujehe bola gaya ki ham apki oh scheme chalu karenge. our jo balance apka 4Feb-8Feb tak kata hai oh wapas kar denge . iske liye mujhe 4 din custome care ko phone karma pad iske liye mere 5 rupees cut ho gaye.officer se bat karne ko bola to oh phone kat dete hai.             I had already submitted the document for Ownership transfer and connection relocation which was suppose to be done in 3 to 4 working days. Its already 8 days now and i have no idea about the status of my request as no one picks up the call. Some how if i get the number of any executive they keep me pending saying that they will call me back to tell the status but neither they call back nor do the respond to my next incoming call. Even after the urgent shifting request they don't understand the importance of it. And at the end of the month i need to end up paying the bill of this month in which i haven't used the net for last 10 days. One option given by one of their executive to me is to go for new connection to avoid the delay. This is cheating on the part of company to get ride of customer problems and earn more money.

              My mobile phone no. is [protected] (chennai). I have suscribed to Airtel Prepaid. For the last several weeks I am pestered by messages from 543216 and 543216plus some additional numbers inviting me to chat or send sms to them. They indicate they are 22f, 23f, etc. signed with female names. I havenot responded to a single one of them except once to say that I have not subsribed to this service. The nuisance continues. Airtel has a customer complaint number where they direct you to another number (an official actually speaks to you here) but this other number has no provision for me to voice my complaint. It is all very tiring and nerve wracking to get to nowhere after all thisl.
              A few days ago there was a call from [protected]. As soon as i responded it said thank you for becoming a subscriber to hello tunes. I have never asked for hello tunes either.
              I'd like to know what i should do.

I want my itemised bill for the month of Nov and Dec 2009 with all the details of incoming and outgoing call that i have made for the 2months, though I have cleared all the previous dues but still, I would like to see the detailing of my bills. Since i am receiving a huge amount of credit balance where and then I haven't made as such calls.                   I am a customer for last 7 years ([protected]) Recently , I got the message from 543212 that the Audio cinema service is active on my number and you have to send "STOP" request for deactivating, On sending this request they are saying that we have have not recd any feedabck in last 5 minutes. The company is cheating the customers now by activating one or other service on their mobiles without any information or acceptance and keep on charging monthly rentals. Even after sending STOP request they still continue to debit our account. I THINK THAT COMPANY IS RECOVERING THE MONEY OF SUBSIDISED RATES DUE TO COMPETITION BY THIS WAY.

                    Subject: Wrong recharge on my Mobile of Rs. 17 by some unknown person.

                    Dear Sir,

                    With reference to above I have to state that my Airtel to Airtel charges 40 paisa. was and with Airtel to other 60 Paisa charges was but by wrong recharge of Rs. 17 on my mobile by some unknown person. Now call charges charge at Rs. 1 per call. How it happened I could not understand. For these I already lodged complained to Customer Care but till today not cared. So please do the needful in the matter restoring under original scheme Airtel to Airtel 40 Paisa and Airtel to other 60 paisa.
                    Your prompt action in the matter will be appreciated.

                      Respected sir/mam

                      I activated sms scheme of RS 102 on 24/01/2010. i used the service for the same till 25th jan but on 25 jan evening my sms started getting charged from main account.
                      I complained in customer care about 4-5 times but did not get any proper response.
                      now its about 4 days i am suffering with this problem.Company just says that your complain has been taken. you will be directed shortly.
                      but there is no solution to this problem yet.
                      kindly give me some suitable solution.

                        i have an airtel broaband connection my present plan is 1099. in sep 2009 changed my plan to 745 and my bill was Rs7500.i was complained to airtel office that the summary received about the internet usage is wrong.after that they commit to pay Rs2600 for the month.but after 2 days of payment my connection was terminated and airtel costumer care call me and told me that your unbilled amount of Rs1426 is remaining.after a small conversation with they commit that to pay Rs1000 and remaining Rs426 is less from your next month billing amount.but my present billing amount is Rs1869(including disconnection charges and previous balance).first they committed to me that less the remaining balance but at last include the money band also charge for disconnection.this is not fair.
                        so i requested to you that please solve this problem.

                          sir,
                          i have been using airtel postpaid for 5 months. two months ago i decided to change it to prepaid...so i filled up all the necessary documents..to the dealer. But my number was not shifted and is now closed for more than 1 month. I made a complaint regarding that but no one gave me a satisfying answer. Now i have decided to go to consumer court...let's see if AIRTEL cares for their customers.
                          ....please suggest me the right way to get my number start again.

                            I bought a new SIM card from one of Airtel's retailers on 19th Jan. The card was not activated and I was told that I had to visit the relationship center to get a new SIM card as this SIM card was 'faulty'.
                            When I visited the Airtel relationship center in Koramangala, I was asked to pay Rs.49/- to get a new SIM card, which I felt was preposterous. Airtel customer service guy, Ameer told me that the SIM card which I had bought was packed in June 2009 and it is not valid beyond 3 months and the retailer should not have sold that to me. I obviously was not aware of this as there was NOTHING on the SIM Card which said 'activate before 3 months of pack date'.

                            Airtel relationship center guys asked me to go back to the retailer and ask for a new SIM. I went there and the guy made multiple enquiries to Airtel only to confirm that I cannot get a new SIM unless I paid another Rs.49/-.

                            The retailer promptly recommended me to return my Airtel SIM and he gave me a Vodafone SIM. I think he may have lost about Rs.49/- in the bargain, but that was his customer service offered to me. Now, I got a Vodafone SIM!

                            I have been Airtel's postpaid customer since the last six years and also have Airtel broadband at home but this experience has not been very good for me.

                            Guys, beware. My suggestion is to get the SIM activated IMMEDIATELY before going out of the store.

                                i have an airtel PostPaid connection([protected]) before 4-5 year, i cut my phone on delay of payment, but the Bill collector promise me that yt pn will not discoonect i paid him 2,500 rupee but my amount is 3500 approx, and the date is before two days from my birthday, i much suffer from it , but no one come to me to ask the reason, but they never try to find out the reason and now after 8 month they take legal action on me, and his advocate says to me the fine is 32000, i dont know what i do, please help me i[censored] can or give me the concern person contract details

                                Can anybody help me out to take a legal action against the worst telecom service provider "Airtel"

                                Since last 2 months they are continuously charging me 10 rupees for every week and I need to mail

                                  Hello!

                                  I want to inform you that one of Airtel retailers from Nagpur Maharashtra has cheated me and I may launch legal action police case for cheating if its not resolved by Airtel.


                                  Since last few weeks I was getting call from [protected] [protected] and [protected] and from this call they offered me new connection for choice number. I never visited to the place from where the call was originated. The persons calling from this number were Piyush Nikita and their senior team lead (as they said) and they forcefully placing offer to me.

                                  Mr. Piyush and 2 other guys visited several times to my place and finally he said that I will get desired number (last five digits in cell number as 74926 and it is not a premium number) in Rs. 500 which he collected from me with address proof photo photo ID documents along with Rs.500. No one gave me intimation about the number so after 3-4 days I called on [protected] (received by Nikita) to know the status but she said we don¿t know put the SIM and know yourself by calling someone (Is this the way followed by Airtel ). But to my surprise the information I got the last week was:

                                  1) The number was activated without my prior notice

                                  2) The number was not informed to me

                                  3) The number allocated to me was not the same against which Rs. 500 taken.

                                  4) On enquiry to 121 I got information that they (Kuku Mobile Nikita Piyush) deposited only Rs.300 to Airtel for this till date no receipt is given to me

                                  5) Immediately last week I informed to 121 to deactivate the unwanted number but still its status is unknown.

                                  6) On complaint the customer care executive available on [protected] (name- unknown) was arrogant and was not ready to listen to me about all details and disconnected call immediately by saying `do whatever you want do we will not help you¿.

                                  It is clearly a cheating case and I may seek legal action against involved parties. I have no intention to harm Airtel reputation or careers of marketing executives. If Airtel itself start internal enquiry I guess several thousands lacs rupees fraud will be exposed made by ARC Retailers in the name of Airtel damaging Airtel market reputation; for example i.e. Rs.500 - (or more) taken by customers against false commitments promises on behalf of Airtel and only Rs.300 deposited to Airtel; such a way cheated with at least 1000 customers a month will be 200x1000 = Rs.200 000 per month fraud by people like Kuku Mobile Nikita Piyush. It is serious and I will make aware all the existing Airtel customers and prospects through newspaper and media putting all this facts and demanding legal enquiry against cheaters.

                                  Also the customer care executive appointment by Airtel; are they for `Customer care¿ or is it `Customer scared¿ Please don¿t appoint such arrogant CC Executive in the scenario of business competition who tries to keep themselves stress free instead of making their employer organisation tension free as a primary duty of their designation and for what they are paid for.

                                  I need your co-operation and help to get refund my all paid amount ASAP. I cannot compromise on less than that!

                                  Airtel India — Fraud and cheating!

                                  I have been observing that whenever i make calls, especially ISD/STD calls & try to terminate the call 1-3 seconds before the next pulse starts, it invariably carries forward to the next pulse & I end up paying for the full pulse even though I have not used any talk time for that pulse.

                                  Initially, I did not notice this, but now it is quite evident that this is how the software has perhaps been written to "increase" the billing!!

                                  Has this been bought to the notice of TRAI or OMBUDSMAN or MRTPC? The erring company(AIRTEL) should be asked to pay damages/penalties worth a few hundred crores, as they would have made much more than that with a minor "adjustment" in the software.

                                  committed me STD: Rs. 1, Local: 50paise, No CLIP charge.

                                  Today, when I received my first bill, i was surpurised.
                                  My STD was charged Rs. 1.49, CLIP charges: Rs 78.
                                  I want to drag them to CONSUMER COURT. That is the only solution to stop this type of frauds.

                                    We stopped using our landline number[protected] in December 2010, however the bills are still being generated and we receive calls for payments. The call was made to the customer care for surrendering the number then, however it seems that the number was ON and it was used by someone. The calls and messages regarding the payments have become very disturbing. Our repeated requests of disconnecting the number, were un-attended and it has been 5 months that we are facing problems because of the executives bad language and repeated calls regarding making payments.They are also calling all my relatives and friends saying that they have a courier to be delivered.                                       i have been using a maharashtra circle airtel connection in mumbai for the past 7 years, bt starting from sept 2008, m facing a connection error problem to many a friends using other network connections.i have complained atlst 28 times but no consideration has made from the customer nor the technical dept of airtel.it is so pathetic that a company like airtel is running out of thr duties..amin why are they given top 10 position in most trusted brands of india.why???

                                        I am buy a new prepaid connection of Airtel company in Punjab circle, I am submitted all our necessary documents to our dealer from where i am buy our this connection. But now the Service provider (Airtel) was close my this connection permanently without my any mistake. I am go to there showroom for re submit our documents but the workers of this showroom says to me that your connection is permanently closed and this is not started again in future.
                                        Sir/ Madam, there are no any my mistake, this is a mistake of Dealer or company workers. I am facing very big problem due to our this closing of connection. I am requested you to please take any necessary action to the company and start my this connection again, i am ready to submit our documents. There are nearabout Rs.500/- balance in it and many Value added services are start with one year validity by paying the rent of all these services in advance. This number is very important for me. Due to closing of this number, there is very big problem for me and there is very big loss to me in my bussiness and in my daily work.
                                        I hope that you are taken necessary action on this company on this matter and solve my this problem immideately.

                                        Airtel Mobile — Connection Closed without any information

                                        Hi,

                                        I was using Airtel mobile - postpaid corporate connection in Bangalore. Due to my transfer, I logged a request for connection transfer to the new city Gurgaon.
                                        These guys promised me to transfer the number after 2 weeks. I logged request on 12th and 14th Jan, 10 (Before that I used to call but of no use). Request numbers are: #[protected]th Jan and #[protected]th Jan, 2010.

                                        Despite of two requests, my connection got closed on 19th Jan, 2010 without any information. I took 1 day to realize that it's connection problem, not phone problem.
                                        I request you to please take strict action against such an irresponsible and freewheeling behavior.

                                        My Mobil connection[[protected]] has been dis connected without information .It is my business no.I have called customer care but they tell your no. will not be activated as you have not submitted your I D prof . I have not received any information to do the same other wise i have submitted the paper .I am using this no. long time .I have RS.250 balance in this no. and i have recharged it two to three days ago.My business will suffer a lot if this connection will not be activated.
