Dear Sirs,
Through this letter I wish to communicate you that my airtel prepaid No. [protected] is wrongly put in non-operation mode.
I have tried for an easy recharge of Rs. 200/- on 5th Oct,09 but the validity period 30 days was not transferred. Accordingly I had registered my complaint at Airtel Customer Support Centre and I was given an assurance that my query will get resolved in 24 hrs. But nothing happened and once again I had registered my query many times and each time I got an assurance that the same will get resolved in 24 hrs.
On 7th Oct, 09, the validity period of my number got expired and till date it is non-operation mode. On 9th Oct, 09 I have sent a detailed mail to Customer Support Centre and once again I got a reply from Ms Carol Voidhiva, Cutomer Care Executive, that my query will get resolved by 12th Oct, 09. But once again the assurance went in vain.
Again, I had sent a mail on 12th Oct, 09 with a threat that if Airtel people continue to harass me then I would go to Hon’able Consumer Court but once again they seemed to be not interested to resolve my query but to defer it for another 24 hrs / 48hrs etc. etc.
Sir, on 12th Oct, 09, I spoke to Ms. Poonam, the Appellate Officer of Airtel at [protected] and again I spoke to Ms. Poonam on 13th Oct, 09.
Sir, can I say;
(1) Airtel is deceiving the customers.
(2) Airtel do not follow the customers’ values in practice and whatever words they say is just a theory.
(3) Airtel means Air + tel = Telephone in air, don’t know the ground realitiy.
(4) What ever Airtel commits goes in Air and is invisible.

Airtel — RECHARGE FOR 77 NOT COMPLETED
MY NAME IS SANDEEP JOSHI. FIRST OF ALL THE AIRTEL PROVIDES THIRD CLASS SIGNAL SERVICE TO IT'S CONSUMERS. WHEN THERE IS ABSOLUTELY ZERO SIGNAL AVAILABILITY EVEN IN CITIES, THEN WE CAN ONLY PRAY FOR THE AIRTEL CONSUMRES IN RURAL AREAS. I RECHARGED THE AMOUNT FOR RS 77 TRANS ID[protected] WHICH SHOULD PROVIDE ME WITH 50 PAISE LOCAL/STD RATES. BUT TO MY ASTONISHMENT, THE CALLS WERE CHARGED AS 1RS/MIN. WHEN I CONTACTED THE VENDOR HE WAS TOTALLY UNAWARE OF IT . WHEN I CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE LADY WHO TALKED WITH ME TALKED IN A RUDE FASHION. SO I REQUESTED HER TO FORWARD MY CALL TO THE MANAGER. THE MANAGER MR KHAN OF BANNERGHATTA AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE(AS SAID TO ME BY THE PERSON WHO WAS SPEAKING TO ME) HE USED SOME FILTHY AND DIRTY WORDS. WHEN I ASKED WHY HE WAS BEHAVING SO RUDELY HE THREATENED ME WITH DIRE CONSEQUENCES AND SAID TO ME THAT HE WAS NOT AFRAID OF ANY ONE AND THAT HE WOULD CONTINUE TO CHEAT THE CUSTOMERS OF AIRTEL. I LIKE TO BRING TO HTE NOTICE OF ALL THE AUTHORITIES AND PEOPLE READING THIS MESSAGE THAT PLS DO LEAVE THE AIRTEL SUBSCRIPTION AS THEY EXPLOITING AND ROBBING THE INNOCENT CONSUMERS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT.
