      Its Me Ajeet Singh. I have been using airtel Broadband connection since last year My tel ph. no is -[protected],

      I have been using the airtel 999 Combo plan with 6GB of free DSL usage with 2Mbps speed for past one year or so. My average bill amount always has been in the range of INR[protected].

      The bill generated for last month however is exorbitantly high, the amount is INR 11835. Airtel has recorded very high DSL usage for last billing cycle and the DSL usage split up which has been shown in the bill is highly impossible.

      I had raised a complaint regarding this around last week (compplaint number:24892722, executive name: amrita). I was told that I would be contacted by 08th. of October by the customer executive, but noone has bothered to call me back about my query yet.

        I did not activate any type of cricket subscription pack still it activated automatically all the time, and it charges of Rs. 1. I want to deactivate the service foreover. The sms I got from the number 64611001; as "you've been renewed for (cricket sub pack, subscription) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You've been charged Rs. 1.http://gclub.in"
        Plese deactivate this service forever, I don't want to continue it.

        AirTel — Starting Cricket pack without request

        Respected Sir/Madam, I am Airtel Prepaid Customer since more than a year ([protected]). on 13 Sep 09, I received an SMS interestingly thanking me for choosing Airtel Movie Gossip and simultaneously, an amount of Rs. 30/- was deducted from balance. I lodged a complaint to customer care and I got my rerfund very next day on 14 Sep 09. But, within some hours, I was shocked reading an SMS this time thanking me for choosing Cricket pack and this network started deducting an amount of Re 1/- per SMS sending me cricket scores unnecessarily without my request. I tried to contact Customer care. But, this time smartly, they have stopped my facility to contact customer care. Till today, an amount of Rs. 13/- has been stolen this way from my prepaid balance and God knows how much more I'll have to suffer and I can't even make a complaint to anyone. Is there any solution to stop this theft?

        Services like cricket updates jokes SMS pack are automatically activated on my AIRTEL no. even i havent requested for that and my account is decreasing.firstly Jokes SMS pack was activated on my no. after deactivation of it cricket updates were activated unnecessarily.SMS are coming constantly from the nos.52906015, 54321.I have been charged for rs1.50for each message from 52906015 and rs 10for each 5or6 message from54321.Kindly deactivate it immediately

        My Dad is using Airtel no : [protected]. He is a retired Govt Employee and is at home all the times. But on the day of cricket match Airtel cuts 3 Rupees unnecessarily from his prepaid card. He complained to Customer Care many times, they agree that the issue is resolved and next day again they start deducting 3 Rs per day. It has become daily task for him, he starts his day with 121 call.

          Hi,

          We requested for broad band connection. A guy came at our door took the documents, PAN card photo copy, house rental agreement and took Rs.1000/- He assured to get connection by 4-7 working days. He collected it 4 weeks back. After a week we didn't hear anything, then we tried to call (his AirTel number [protected]) him but his number was disconnected and AirTel customer care doesn't have any information about this.
          We often called customer care but didn't get any response.

          Please anyone suggest me how to get either connection or my money back.

          I completely agree with you, i am facing the same problem (applied on 25th Oct 09), and the pain is that and no body is picking up the call they even don't bother to reply back... these are the ppl who were calling many times before... and now not at all concerned about the customers, don't even have courtesy to respond to the calls. I have made 3 months advance payment and still waiting for the connection.

          on 19.11.09 a person called for broadband connection from adyar kasturibai nager 3 rd st...i am dwelling in bharathi nager 3rd street thiruvanmiyur ch 41...for that the person approach me and got rs 1000 from me for broadband but now they told that is no network coverage area..but wn they called me i gave my address on that day he told me it was in network area but now thay refuse to provide connection and he gave the receipt for that paid 1000rs that SEF number is 958565...peson name sahid his number is [protected]..pls kindly take action for the above request else let me know by call or email the status...

          I requested for broad band connection. To fill up the forms for sign up, an executive came within 15 minutes. He took the copy of PAN card photo copy, house rental agreement and took Rs.3995/- for the monthly 799 plan for 5 months. He also assured to get connection by 4 working days. After a week I didn't hear anything, then I called his number at [protected]. His name is Shankar. He was just buying reasons and time.

          I went to the Air Tel Office at "Arden Fair" Old Madras Road. I met the installation Manager. He promised to get back to me by next day. As expected he didn't and when I tried to call him, he didn't pick up. (Now I know the reason why he took my number when I met him- NOT TO PICK MY CALLS?) His number is [protected].

          I expected AirTel to be the top service providers in this industry, but unfortunately, they are terrible. I would not advise anyone to try them. I have had one VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

          I booked a broadband connection by your customer enrollment form No.1973601 as on 29.11.2009 against cheque of rupees one thousand of corporation bank Paschim Vihar, new delhi.
          The guy who was came for documentation name is Parmod Kumar and his Phone No. is [protected].

          in this connection their persons put a phone instrument and wired but the connection is not connect till today as on 2.01.2010.making complaints on 121 they assured they do in this matter. But nothing to be done till this time.

          No body told what is the causes behind that.

          Do the need full in this matter.

I have called several time to your office and concern rep then i went to your office they are told me your area there no permission for us to give connection so we have cancelled your order. i was booked on 22.08.2009 my id no:PY0004804 without any information your staff had been cancelled my valueable order and their assured the advance amount they will return with in a month time, but still the date they have not return my money back. Being a big organization how you are treating your customer these kind of seating way. if your company will leave this much amount to any one of your customer without interest are penalty this habil will spail your company image. I think your organization don't have any educated and meatured employee.

          Airtel Broadband — FALSE PROMISE AND NON RETURNING OF ADVANCE PAYMENT

          this is saurabh khurana from meerut.i have applied for the airtel broadband connection. they take 2300/- Rs from me in advance for this.now they are saying that its not possible for provide a connection at that place although they had make complete fitting with wire there. as i had also the another connection of BSNL broadband but due to confirmation of this i had rejected the BSNL plan.
          and when i said regarding for my Ammount 2300/- Rs for returning then the answer was that we will return your amount after 45 days. so please help for this matter.
          i will claim 50% interest for this matter as i have lost my one project that was completely based on internet service that i was expecting from them.

          On 23rd November, 2010 a person called for broadband connection which i requested earlier for my residence: 783, 14th cross, K R Road, Jayangar 7th Block, Bangalore 560082. He came to my office and taken all the documnetaion and rs 1500. ( Application # TBLR0082754). At the time of application he confirmed that they feasibilty study has been done and they can give the connection within 7 days. On 25th November i got a call from Airtel again for address verification and they told that tehy will do the feasibilty study. I am quite confused why again feasibilty study would be happened? On 25th November whne i enquired about ny application status by calling customer care they said that it is no network coverage area.

          I do not understand then why they told that they can giove the cooonection within 7 days on 23 rd November. Mr M S Hariprasad approced me, took all the desired documnet and confirmed that they can give the coonection within 7 days and feasibilty is there in my area on 23rd november.           My landline number is 4262187. I had made ECS request By submitting original application form duly certified by my bankers to your frenchise office at sibin complex Lalbagh Mangalore on 5th december 2009. I have been told by the employees working there that they do not have any system of giving any acknowledgement for having received the application and they only forward all such applications without even entering in any register to Bangalore office for necessary action. I donot know what they ment by your Bangalore office . It may be a call center or a frenchise outlet not managed by Airtel. I do not know whether you have any office of your own in Bangalore to approch for getting our grevence redressed.
          Sir I observe that your Mangalore office at Sibin complex works like a petty kirana shop .They say all ECS applcations received are promptly forwarded by then . There bis no trace of my ECS application. The employees feel they can fool me by giving some reason every time I approch them to enquire about the fate of my ECS request.
          December 2009month billof Rs 661 is paid by me & gave them one more set of ECS ( copy as original is already given in December2009.) with a fresh assurence by one of the officer that it would be done & I need not payJanuary 2010 month bill as my Ecs will be activated by February 26. I have been told by him there is a cooling period of 45 days and it will be done on 26th February. But bill amount is not debitted through ECS to my A/C and I made the payment of the bill Rs 690 when he assured me late fee will not be collected & ECS will be activated immediatly . Please look in to the matter and reply me.
          Two days ago i faced the same problem. An airtel agent wearing his ID collected Rs. 600/-. He asked for a xerox copy of PAN and my office ID. He said connected would be given after two days but till date no response. On calling his mobile some tunes only keeps on coming but not able to get him.

          Same kind of scene occured with me as well. On 16th Sept an airtel executive Named Vinod Maheshwari came to my house and promised for airtel borad band connection. He promised to setup connection by 21st Sept. But when I called him on 22nd he told me to wait for couple of more days. That was last time he answered my phone call. After that day I repeated called him for next 5 days but there was no response from him. Finally after getting frustated I called the customer care number 44444121 and to my surpise I saw same behavior from them. Few executives hang up my call, few promised me about refund, few told me they cannot do anything as case is handled by back office (mentioning complaint number 80526 ) etc etc. Finally after almost a month I gave up and stop calling them.

          To New Customer: My suggestion - Please don't go for this companies broad band connection. Even after reading all this complaints you want to go for it then take the connection use it for one month and then pay. As I am damn sure there quality of service related to anything is very bad.

          i had the same problem. they promise that they will do within 3-4 working days. more than 7 days have gone by and nothing is working ( or rather no one in airtel is working)...i guess they work only once in a year so that we can get our connection only after 4 years

A guy came at our door took the documents, PAN card photo copy, house rental agreement and took Rs.500/- He assured to get connection by 2-4 working day Its been more than a week.when we called the customer service they said there is no connection in my area and it might take one month i am very frustrated because i need to spend more hours in my office because i was not able to access my office computer from home. i was thinking that i will get the connection in 2 days the guy took the money promised me this and he gave me a phone number they are not giving proper answers.

          My name is Jacob based at Cochin. I had approached the Bharti Airtel Chnnel Sales Manager for a corporate broadband connection Mr. Sumesh K S at their Panampally nagar office. At the start i had received a smooth treatment the person collected lot of documents and finally a Cheque after which we were given a tentative date. On said date when I contacted Mr. Sumesh he said there some technical issues which will be sorted out in a weeks time. Now on he has stopped answering our calls.
          Since we had no response we connected with the customer relations office and spoke to officer there who gave as the following ref: no: 43040760 dated Feb 15.

          The entire process started on 31 Jan 2011 and we are yet to hear from Airtel regarding the same. Could anyone let us know how we can get the cheque back.
          I have applied for a new broadband connection on 23 nov 2010. the executive named "Kumar" ph. no. [protected] took 1900 cash (500 for connection and 1400 for wifi router). Later he said he wont be giving connection so will refund the money. I got a refund of 500 only. The 1400 is gone and i have raised many complains and have got more than 6 complain numbers till now. Mobile of the executive whom i have given the money is switched off.

          I am very frustrated of this Airtel thing.

          Two weeks back I requested for broadband connection 899 unlimited plan. One guy came and collected the documents with Rs 500. After that I was keep on calling customer care but they were not responding well. Lastly they told there is no feasibility so your application has been rejected.
          I'm really unhappy with this response from airtel after waiting for 2 weeks to get the connection. The reason I opted for airtel was only because of their customer care.

          This is Vijay we have lodged 2 Time complaint that our land line is not working. once they gave Complaint no 6295664 by 6.15pm it will be solved, next day i called they said ur problem is rectified by the truth is not yet solved they lodged new complaint no is 6348934 by 7.18 pm it will be solved still the problem is not solve, please do not commit false promise being in service industry, the same problem with spice they close in shot time, i do not accept from air tel this service

          I agree. same thing happened to me. it has been 10 days. I can't reach the guy who took my PAN card details, address proof and paid him Rs. 500. His name is Venkatesh with mobile number given to me was [protected]. I contacted customer service number [protected]. Instead of helping, they asked me to launch a complaint at 121.

            I bought airtel plan-799 broadband connection at jun'09 chennai location (its a 256kbps, unlimited plan). I look into the usage of bandwidth for couple of months, it not exceeds 8Gb. So, i plan to move to Plan -749 (its a 256kbps in day and 1mbps in night, bandwidth limited by 8Gb/month). I had it, but my broadband usage goes beyond the limit. Again, i plan to go back to my previous plan. for that i request in customer care. But they reply back to me as, the plan is not available now. We have the same 256kbps unlimited as Plan-899 (ie. rs. 899/month). but, initially the customer care guys said, any time you may come back to previous plan. but, its not there. they said you may switch to plan-899 only, its Rs.100 more for me. They act as monopoly in market.

            Broadband plan changing — plan changing

            we are using airtel Broadband limited connection more then two years so still we are like to Unlimited plans so change my connection limited to Unlimited plans.....
            then we are using only one Pc not for more then that so pl change my connection as soon as posisible ... .....

            Airtel — Too slow for changing broadband plan

            Dear sir/madam,
            I have requested Airtel to change my broadband plan on 23rd September 2011. They said that my plan will change from my next billing cycle (i.e. from 11 October 2011). But my plan was not changed yet.

            I called Airtel customer care. But their executives were talking irresponsibly. They do not have proper information regarding plan change request etc. Most of the time they says that server is down this time please call after 4 hours. At last 1 of their executive says that your plan will change in November, which is too late for me. I don't think that plan change take 2 months. Its RIDICULOUS.

              I had an Airtel post-paid mobile connection in Bangalore. Since I moved of Bangalore, I decided to terminate my connection. This includes de-activating my number and cancelling the authorised direct debit from Citibank credit card. I got on line with a customer service agent and cancelled the connection. I was told that everything will be settled correctly.

              I believed that they will be doing their job sincerely since I did not have any unpleasant experiences with Airtel before. But then, four months later, when I happened to go through my credit card statement, I realised that they had been debiting money from it in the order of INR 1500.00 every month. I immediately called up the customer care regarding this and told them the situation. They took time and told me that they neither had any information on when my number was cancelled nor any information about my number in their database. Every customer service agent I spoke to gave the same response. So I escalated the issue to a Lead, and then a Manager. Since none of them were to offer me an explanation, they once again escalated it to Nodal Officers (Divyashree Towers, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore). These nodal officers are supposed to resolve issues much faster than their counter teams. They said they will look into it and get back to me in a week. In the mean time, I called up Citibank to terminate all direct debits on my credit card in a hope that no further direct debit will be made. But to my disappointment, the Citibank customer service told me that they have no such options to cancel direct debits and it is up to Airtel to cancel it. At this point I should say that Citibank is a useless bank that offers to no protection to its customers against such misuse of the cards.

              After a week, I decided to call up the nodal officers in Bangalore and they still hadn't done anything about it. After this call, I called them every three days to know of the progress. I was so frustrated by what they were doing to their customers. This went on for about 3 more months. By this time, I almost lost INR 8000 on my credit card. At one point, they started terminating my calls, the moment they realised they were speaking to me. Now, I am planning to sue Airtel for fraudulent use of my credit card and Citibank for not offering any sort of protection to its customers despite bringing it their attention.

              Please avoid using Airtel if you do not want to be cheated like this. It is high time you start taking a look at your credit card bills.

                    I have bought this phone in Airtel Lobby Hyderabad Model is Blackberry 8900 in June 2009. In the month of July one fine morning key pad of the handset stopped working and I had taken it to Airtel the problem was rectified and given back to me after 12 days. Now again in October I have the same problem with the handset and I am now transferred to Visakhapatnam.

                    I have visited Lobby Vizag and they are not willing to listen to me and say if the handset is purchased in their showroom then they are responsible and I need to approach Hyderabad. Looks ridicules to me afterall I have purchased the handset from AIRTEL and its still under warranty.

                    I am still a gold customer of IDEA and taken a Airtel connection just for their blackberry services ( IDEA was not giving the same when I took Airtel connection ).

                    A prompt response will be greatly appreciated. Hope AIRTEL responds.

                        I have a weekly subscription for yahoo zone in airtel live. It charges me Rs. 10/- only (rupees ten only) per week. Other than this , I was never charged by airtel for using yahoo zone , but since 07/10/2009 I have been charged on using the same service . Despite calling customer care , there was no hearing to my problem .Besides this, the customer care executive literally knows nothing about airtel and its services .

                          I have airtel prepid connection and has opted for booster Rs.245/- for 3 months(Till 09 Dec 2009). The problem is airtel is beduting Rs. 1 for all the calls I make to airtel (As per booster 10 paise) or other mobiles(As per booster 50 paise).                           WRONG INFORMATION BY AIRTEL CUSTOMER-CARE : CUSTOMER SUFFERS

                          I talked to Airtel c.c (customer care) on 26th dec 2010 regarding the information of message pack and the information received to me by them was “make a recharge of Rs.11 and get 100 local + national outgoing sms daily with a deduction of Re1 for the 1st outgoing sms daily and the validity is of 30days. I made the recharge of Rs.11 on the same day.
                          On 9thJan 2011 I made a recharge of Rs.130 of F.T.T. with 15 days validity and the remaining balance on 12th Jan 2011 at around 6:30pm was Rs.70+ . The entire amount of Rs.70+ was deducted on the same day at 7:00pm, when talked to Airtel c.c the reason I got was my validity of sms pack has expired and because of the failure of system the balance was not deducted at the time of messaging
                          So entire amount deducted collectively. When told to c.c that it’s the fault of your department who gave me the wrong information and if my balance would be deducted at the time of messaging I would hav recharged the message pack again as I ever do. At this my call was disconnected saying that we don’t have the answer so we transfer your call to our senior executive. Same thing happened for the next 4 times the same day. When talked with c.c. 6th time a request was registered reference no. CBDCC [protected]. And was told will get a call back from c.c on 14th Jan2011.
                          No call back from c.c on 14th & 15th Jan so I called 198 Airtel complain department and again my call was disconnected saying your call is being transferred to our senior executive. I made the 2nd call directing asking for the senior executive and talked to Mr.Aakask who introduced himself as senior supervisor in Airtel, he listen the entire case and concluded that it was a mistake from their side but he could not return my deducted balance and added if I want to get my balance then call to Mr.Manjeet of Airtel nodal office on [protected] or log on to nodaloffice.[protected]@airtel.in
                          On 17th Jan2011 at 11:00am I made my 1st call on the above no. and talked to Mr.Abhishek and got a response can’t help you now as our system is down so please make a call after 3-4hrs. I made the 2nd call on the same no. at 2:00pm and got the same response from Mr.Abhishek. I made the 3rd call at 5:30pm and this time Mr.Ankit gave the same response to me.
                          I have been a loyal customer of Airtel for last 5 years, 4 ½ years in pune and using Airtel in Meerut almost for last 6months but what the service am I getting of my loyality could be seen here. All such thing show Airtel has not only changed his logo but also the way to serve his customer for which it was known.

                            On 31.08.09, I buy a new Postpaid connection from Amrit aircon, ( AIRTEL OUTLET ), Dilshad colony, Delhi ( Vipin Gupta ).

                            On 28.09.09 my phone is being disconnected due to Address Proof. I submitted Address proof on 28.09.09 at Amrit Aircon.

                            On 29.09.09 my phone start working OK.

                            BUT Again on 06.10.09, my phone is being discconted due the same problem. I went to Amrit and ask for the same, they told me that they misplace the address proof. ( THIS IS VERY RIDICULAOS AND CARELESS WORKING )

                            I'll again Give my Address proof to amrit aircon on 06.10.09. NOW they are not able to send the mail because they are not trained they do not SCAN the paper properly.

                            Please feel the urgency of the matter as I could not work without my phone.
                            Please any body can help me out.

                            These Amrit Aircon People are not very good to face they very unskill person. My suggestion is that pl. give training for customer dealing and use of equipment.

                              Hi,

                              I have called up the Airtel Broadband toll free[protected] last to last sunday to book a new connection. The person who answered the call, somehow managed to speak english after putting me on hold for like 10 mins on and off, clarifying with his colleagues and finally gave a request no. The representative then assured me that the connection would be provided at your residence within 4 working days.

                              I didnt hear from anyone till Friday and hence called up again to enquire about the status; i was told that there is no network connectivity in my area and hence a connection is not possible. when I told them that the DP for Airtel in this area resides in my house and so far only 2 connections has been provided, he changed the topic saying that its pending for field executives to come. Finally a so called Mr.Deepak from Airtel comes home and says, since I dont require a modem, wi-fi router and the cabling also is done, I need to pay only Rs.1000 (god only knows how much other wise it would have been). If I can provide my BSNL bill original copy, then they can provide a Rs.500 discount. Since there was no other go, i sacrificed my original bill valued at Rs.1100 to Airtel guys (re-imbursable from work) and issued a cheque as well for remaining amount.

                              This guy also assured me that since Sat/Sun they dont work (wat customer service) the connection will be provided by Monday for sure. I like an took a leave and was waiting for these divine people to come. By 6, I called up and asked for status and this guy says tomorrow somebody may come. I told him to cancel my connection and return my money back. Today I see the cheque being cleared from my account and Deepak the executive switching off his cell as well.

                              GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! GREAT DUPING!! GREAT CONING!! THATS AIRTEL :-)

I have called up so many times to customer and they have one single line answer “ Sorry Sir , will escalate the same “ but I don’t know where they have escalate , as still after 5 day’s problem is not resolved .Most difficult part is whenever I call to customer , I have to explain issue with different people and all are have one line answer “ Sorry Sir , will escalate the same “.

                              First time I call up on 13th may , they said will resolve the issue within 4 hours and we waited till 14th May (More than 30 hours ) evening but there was no response from anyone , then again called up on 14th may 2011 and they said tomorrow morning will someone attend your call but nobody turn up ……then again I called up and I have asked them can you please connect to your manager .. for that I was on hold for more than 25 minutes and result was , we will raise this issue sir and tomorrow morning by 11 AM someone will attended the same ….

                              Now I have no word to say as Airtel is brand name and support you can see.. one more thing I am living in heart of the Bangalore .. so I think there is no problem for communication also

                              Would somebody from Airtel, please save me from this mental suffering because of the unethical practice and an highly unprofessional approach of your people?????

                              Ok... How many month you will take to resolve this issue one more thing, when called to customer care they i formed me your call has been closed ...

                                I was user of PREPAID connection,Cosequent upon explaining me for your POSTPAID Plan by your Airtel services/outlets-Maninagar(Mobile no.[protected],[protected]), I was Tempted to convert my existing Prepaid into Postpaid Plan-GOG99 & was also willing to take two/three more connections also.My activation from Prepaid to Postpaid was affected on 18/08/2009.
                                I am user of SMS facility more & I had been told that your sms -balance in existing Prepaid will be continued alongwith your Main Balance in your New Plan.,Not only that you will be able to have SmsPack of Rs.102 in New Plan. On this information I entered in PostPaid Plan.
                                But on receipt of First Bill & Inq. with customer-care:::
                                (1) I came to know that No Sms balance Transferred to me.Nearly Rs.2021/- sms balace has been forfieted.&Rs.74/- charges made for sms in the bill.,which I was under impression that it is being done from my sms balance.
                                (2) No sms pack is avilable in the plan.
                                (3)My Main bslsnce was nearly Rs. 39/- also disappeared.
                                (4)My HelloTune discontinued, which was subscribed/paid by me for 6 Months in advance.
                                It is very painful to inform you that I am very much dissatisfied with wrong ionformation provided to me for the sake of getting New connection Benefit..I have been deprived of all the FOUR Items described as above.
                                Pl. get me recover all the Losses made to me URGRNTLY.Viz. my main balance/sms balance/hello tune.. and Convert Back me into Prepaid Plan without paying further more anything.
                                On receipt of your reply I am just paying my all Dues under postpaid plan.
                                Hope You will not give chance to remind me.
                                Anticipating your Quick Action to resolve my Comlpaint.

                                  Hi,

                                  I have registered for a new airtel digital TV connection . The customer care executive told me that the engineer will call 30 min before and come on sunday 5.00 pm. But since i didnt receive any call from airtel, i called again on 5th oct 09 and they registered a complaint ( no. 1168511 ) and the maximum resolution time given was 7th oct 09. But till now i didnt receive any call from airtel related to this ( no engineer calls/ no customer support calls) . I called customer care several times today and spend lot of time to explain to customer care executives, but before completing calls , most of the calls got terminated and nobody called back. One couple of calls which were successful, they told me to wait and when i asked about time frame, they said they cannot say that. When i asked about why this is not done, they said they dont know, it will be done, but cannot say time frame.

                                  I am a customer of airtel for mobile, broadband personally and purchased two leased line for my company. The support used to be good for those devisions. But with digital TV i feel the customer support team's response / handline is very very bad.

                                  Dunno where to excalate this since they are saying there is no escalation available further.

                                    One of Worst hit Customer :-(

                                    I had 4 Postpaid connections on my name and I had an internet connection. All from Airtel.
                                    Now that I had shift from the current residence to other.

                                    Before shifing, I had requested Airtel to shift my Broadband to the new address. Customer Care executive commited 3 working for the entire process. After 3 days, when I called up to know the status, they told me that it would confirmed in 2 days time.

                                    After 2 days, they told me that it is not feasible for 1 week. I told them, I can wait for 1 more week.
                                    Finally after 3 days, They called me and told that it is not feasible. In total, I had to wait nearly 10 days to get to know that I wont get a Broadband connectivity.

                                    If that is not feasible, why did the Customer Care commited for shifting within 3 working days. This is my 1st complaint.


                                    Now my second complaint is on the process followed by them.

                                    I wanted to change the billing address for 4 post paid connections I have in my name. When I called the customer care, they confirmed me that a HR letter from my employer would do.

                                    When i visited the nearest airtel showroom to change the address with a letter from my HR in my company letter pad, They told me to get a GOVT authorised Address proof.
                                    They are not willing to accept a recognised company's letter.

                                    The truth is that, when i took these connections, I gave a HR Letter, ID Proof. They sweetly accepted it. When they can accept it while taking a new connection, whey can't they do the same for address change.

                                    This is completely ridiculous and there is no point in following such a process. I wanted to register a complaint against them as i had undergone mental tension due to this.

                                    1 final thing i would say.............AIRTEL IS GOING FROM GOOD TO BAD.WORSE TO WORSER AND AM AFRAID, SOON IT WILL BE THE WORST ONE.

                                      Airtel Broadband connection

                                      I had called airtel broadband customer care and requested for a broadband connection in the flat to which i am shifting in Bellandur - Req No. TBLR 0035236.
                                      An executive called Shankar called me and informed me of the required docs. Right from here our problems started with them. He said he would call me and come and inspect the house and confirm if they can give connection and collect docs. But he never would call. On repeated calling he inspected the house on 26th Sept and confirmed that they can give connection. On 26th Sept he came and collected the docs from me for the connection. I would call him everyday atleast 10 times for update and he always would promise "It will be done today or tommorow i will call back and inform" but no call from him. I escalated the matter to his boss Om Karish, but even he turned out to be equally irresponsible and same thing repeats promise callbacks but no calls and no connection.

                                      On 3rd Oct I was pretty irated and when my husband called him he says they cant give us a connection as the distribution point is overloaded. I asked him to return my Rs2397/- so that I can get the connection from someone else and also informed him that though he cant give me the connection i will escalate this matter to higher authorities and even in papers. He then replies that he will try again and get back to us by tuesday (6th OCt). I got no update from him. I called Customer care and raised a complaint against Shankar and Om Karish. Complaint number[protected]. Also the customer care exec informed me that the connection was sactioned to me on 30 sept itself and the request which i had raised was also closed. Hence I should have had got the connection on 30th sept itself or max on 1st Oct. I got a message on my ohone that someone will get back to me by 7th oct regarding this. No one from cust care got back, instead Om Karish got back to us and tells us i will come and give the connection on Saturday( Oct). My husband asked why so long and he just replies "It is like that only. I cant give you before that".

                                      I feels like we are dealing with some govt office. We had a BSNL connection in our old house. We opted Airtel because BSNL will take more time to give connectiona dn I was in a urgency. I work from home and Internet is the first thing i reuire before shifting. Now because of all these I cant even shift to the new house and I have to pay rent in bith places. I have incurred a loss of Rs15000/-. I am repeatedly calling Airtel customer care but no one calls back. Only promises that i will get connection today or tommorow.
                                      I can feel your pain... dear. But I am thanking my luck that I didnt get the call from Airtel Executive.

                                      My Story goes like...

                                      I have called Airtel for a broadband connection a month back and was informed that a representative will get back to me. Some one from airtel called me up within 48 hours and asked me about the location. I had given all the information whatever he needed. And that was it... they do not have the courtesy to call back a customer to inform him if it is available or not...

                                      Guess what... I tried second time... the whole process mentioned above were repeated... I must agree they have a proper process in place to deal with the customer...

                                      You are right... I tried third time... because I am someone who does not lose hope so easily... and then, , , ... History repeats itself...

                                      There is a saying "The one who does not remember history is bound to live through it again" ...

                                      However, I am very pleased that I did not get the connection... May be I would have gone through the same pain...
                                      Update on the issue is that I again called customer care and a lady informed in will get connection by 3:30p.m when i didnt get a call by 4:30 i called again and the guy informed that OmKarish and his team have updated that connection cant be given to us till saturday due to "Technical reasons". Now I wonder if there is any good muhurat on Sturday or what and if they have "Technical difficulties" then how are they sure that it will be resolved by Saturday. This time the guy who spoke was very courteous and really understood my pain and passed the call to his supervisor( this rarely happens at the call center). The call center manager said he will personally follow up and see that it is resolved soon.. I wonder how soon..
                                      Also during this call I was informed that they cant do anything against Om Karish as he is the sales incharge of that area.. So i suppose the customers complaints against him are of no use coz the customer is at his mercy now..
                                      If they truely have any technical difficulties they should have checked it before taking my money and why make false promises?? who will compensate my loss now??

                                        2. The customer care executive told me that it was not credited into the account of AIRTEL
                                        But the amount of Rs.290/- + Rs.290/- have been debited from my bank account
