Dear Sir/Ma'am
1. I am an Army officer presently posted since 14 Aug on LOC (kashmir). I dont have a complaint as such against Airtel. I have a Post paid connection of Airtel since Feb 2009. I had being paying monthly bills on- line. For this i had registered my self with them. Few days back i wanted to log on but had forgotten the password. To get the password / reset the same they said that the same will be forwarded in sms form to my mobile no. Now the problem is that presently where i am posted Airtel signal does not come. Only BSNL functions.I am using bsnl gprs service to contact u. I dont know how to contact them that's why seeking u r help. May i request you to tell them to send the resetted password to my email address. My Airtel No is [protected]. The User ID for login is "samboy" .I dont want to default on the monthly payment which is due since last one week. Present contact no is [protected]. You are also requested to send confirmation on my email- if any action has been taken. Kind o[censored]. Thank you.

    I have an Airtel Prepaid connection and my number is [protected]. Recently, the EGDE or GPRS has been activated without any prior notice. I did not apply for activation. I lost a lot of balance because of that. I request an airtel customer care executive to contact me on [protected], as i took out the [protected] sim card from my phone as it keeps on using the internet, decreasing my balance. I will be waiting for the call.
    Thanks a lot.. Will be waiting for your call. And i also have a suggestion. I think talking to a customer care executive should be enabled on the customer care line for prepaid phones. It is a huge inconvenience having to go to the airtel office for every small problem.

      SUB: GRIEVANCE AGAINST NODAL OFFICER, BHARATI AIRTEL LIMITED, UDAIPUR.


      Dear Sir,

      I am ex-armed force personal and presently employed in Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur as Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. I obtained a mobile SIM card from Airtel on 5 Jul 2009 from Udaipur bearing No. [protected].I have submitted a letter from the University authority on the letter head for residential proof and copy of PAN card for photo ID. I have submitted the SIM requsition from filled up by own hand writing have received four telephonic calls from Airtel office for verification of address and I have responded to their call to the best of my satisfaction. After a gap of two months, they have blocked my SIM on 30th Aug 2009. I have consulted the custumer care centre at jaipur through mail. They repplied that my address is in correct. I have intimated that I have filled up the requisition for SIM with my own hand writting and I asked them to show the same and justify that my address is in correct. They assured that they will do the needful at their end and resolve the issue. Ten days after that they have intimated me to contact in Call Centre at Udaipur. I went to the call centre atUdaipur and the in-charge of call centre has asked me to pay Rs.49/- and take a fresh SIM. I have a balance of Rs. 750/- approximately in my previous SIM. I do not understand, how can they direct me to take a fresh SIM. Moreover, how can they block my number after producing all documents and responding to their telephonic calls? The in-charge of call centre has intimated that they have called me three times on 25th Aug 2009 and I have not responded to their telephonic calls. Further to state that I have not received any telephonic call from Airtel on 25th August,9009 nor there is any sign of miss call in my mobile. These people are intentionally harassing the customer to earn money through corrupt practices.
      The matter was reported to the nodal officer at (nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in). I have waited for ten days and received the reply from the nodal officer that due to negative verification of address my SIM no. [protected] has been blocked since 30 August 2009 and again I was directed to contact to the call centre at Udaipur. I have attended to their calls and my address is correct with all documentary evidences. Then how can they say that negative verification of address.
      Further, I have submitted my representation to the appellate officer(appellate.[protected]@airtel.in) and received the same reply. The appellate officer has intimated me that my number has been recalculated and the same can not be activated again and he has directed me to consult to the customer care centre again. Also the customer care centre has directed me to contact to the local call centre at udaipur.
      The issue has been represented to the following authorities.
      1.Sunil Bharati Mittal, CMD,Bharati Airtel Limited
      2.Tecom Regulatory Authority of India
      3. President, National Consumer dispute redressal commission, New Dehhi
      4. President, Rajasthan State Consumer dispute redressal Commission, jaipur
      5. Ministry of Information and broadcasting

      I request you to kindly help me to get my balance amout back or to restore my SIM at the earlist. Due to lack of communication I have already faced mental and financial losses.

      Kindly help me to resolve the issue. Finally, I may report the matter in local court to get rid from unwarranted trouble and harassment. People creating mean to earn money through corrupt practices must be penalized. Airtel company may kindly be directed to refund balance of my amount with compensation.

      AirTel — My sim Is Blocked since Two Months

      my sim is blocked by mistake. It show PUK blocked Contact Operator . Please help me out. my mobile number is [protected]. i am right now in Mumbai. this sim is of Maharashtra only.I called to customer care & went to Airtel Gallery But nobody Can Help .Please send me any instruction to starting my sim card imidiately on my email ID. My sim Card Is My Friend gave me in Gift. His Name is Santosh Kamble. He is Living in Subhash Nagar, Pokharan Rd. No.2, Thane West.The sim Is Registered in This Address

      I am ex-armed force personal and presently working at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur as Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have obtained a mobile SIM card from Airtel limited on 5th July 2009. I have submitted a letter issued by the University authority on the letter head as proof of residence and copy of PAN card for proof of Photo ID. The SIM requisition form I have filled up with my own Hand writting. From 5th May 2009 to 29th Aug 2009, I have received four calls from Airtel limited for verification of my residential adress and I have responded to all these call satisfactorily. However, I found on 30th August,2009 that my SIM card was blocked. I have consulted to customer care centre at Jaipur through e-mail, but they have intimated that my address is incorrect. When I asked them to show my SIM requisition form,then they said your documents are not proper.When I asked for the documents then they have intimated that I have not responded to their telephonic calls on 25th Aug 2009. Further to add that I have not received any telephonic call from Airtel on the said date and their is no sign of miscall on my mobile.Hence , I lodge this complain against' Nodal Officer,jBharati Airtel Limited, Jaipur ( mail. ID. [protected]@[protected]@airtel.in, Mobile-[protected]) to find a needful solution.The Airtel Company may be directed to return my balanne amount or restore my SIM at the earliest.

      Employees of Airtel are playing all foul game and intentionally harassing customers to earn money through corrupt practices. Due verification may be carried out and such employees should be subjected to law and order.

      Dear Sir,
      This is to infrom you that people working in the customer care centre of Bhatari Airtel are repplying differently at different instant of time. Now they have intimated that SIM No. [protected] is incorrect and I should provide 10-digit correct number. However the said number is correct.They are making fun of the issue. If the issue is not resolved, I will be forced to lodge a complain in the local court.This shows that law and order does not exist for the criminals and these people do what they like to earn money.
      I hope the consumer court will take right step to deal with such criminals.

      Time and again I have been intimated that the said number [protected] is not a valid number. Howeve r the said number is valid and correct. To the best of my knowledge the people working in customercare of Airtel, Jaipur are making fun of the issue.Airtel company may kindly directed to refund my balance amount, else I may be compelled to represent the issue to the local court udaipur.Expenditure incured in this process to be borne by Airtel Company.

I have submitted the SIM requsition from filled up by own hand writing have received four telephonic calls from Airtel office for verification of address and I have responded to their call to the best of my satisfaction. After a gap of two months, they have blocked my SIM on 30th Aug 2009. I have consulted the custumer care centre at jaipur through mail. They repplied that my address is in correct. I have intimated that I have filled up the requisition for SIM with my own hand writting and I asked them to show the same and justify that my address is in correct. They assured that they will do the needful at their end and resolve the issue. Ten days after that they have intimated me to contact in Call Centre at Udaipur. I went to the call centre atUdaipur and the in-charge of call centre has asked me to pay Rs.49/- and take a fresh SIM. I have a balance of Rs. 750/- approximately in my previous SIM. I do not understand, how can they direct me to take a fresh SIM. Moreover, how can they block my number after producing all documents and responding to their telephonic calls? The in-charge of call centre has intimated that they have called me three times on 25th Aug 2009 and I have not responded to their telephonic calls. Further to state that I have not received any telephonic call from Airtel on 25th August, 2009 nor there is any sign of miss call in my mobile. These people are intentionally harassing the customer to earn money through corrupt practices.
      The matter was reported to the nodal officer at (nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in). I have waited for ten days and received the reply from the nodal officer that due to negative verification of address my SIM no. [protected] has been blocked since 30 August 2009 and again I was directed to contact to the call centre at Udaipur. I have attended to their calls and my address is correct with all documentary evidences. Then how can they say that negative verification of address.
      Further, I have submitted my representation to the appellate officer(appellate.[protected]@airtel.in) and received the same reply. The appellate officer has intimated me that my number has been recycled and the same can not be activated again and he has directed me to consult to the customer care centre again. Also the customer care centre has directed me to contact to the local call centre at udaipur.
      The issue has been represented to the following authorities.

[protected] from past 4 years around.earliear this number was my airtel postpaid number and now i have just made converted it as a prepaid number dated 7th january 2010.i had submitted all the documents as demanded by your airtel executive and finally my number got converted to prepaid and started within two days.now within just a month airtel has cutted my number reason being due to lack of some reconfermations which airtel department genrally makes after starting any new number but there was no as such reconfermations made by me and there was no warning given by your side before cutting this number.

        Sir,
        I was charged antivirus charges despite my mail to not renew it as the antivirus could not remove a malignant virus.The company did not give credit after much haggling and instead stopped all outgoing calls.I decided to stop the connection and gave the request in june/july2009.On 1/7/2007 a request for disconnection was accepted but I continued t receive bills.I was approached for reconnection on 29/7/09 by their man but I told only if I get respite and only land line not internet connection.But on 1st of August,09 Airtel customer care did not oblige for rental waiver till reconnection as they said it is running in July and there was request though no such request made as I was away on assignment.I decided to finally disconnect the reconnection request in my Sept, 09 mail to them but they did not do it till now and I am being pushed against wall.I told them that I had out of sheer frustration decided to disconnect the reconnection offer on 1st of August,09 and mailed them again on 21st of August and 5th of Sept, 09 but they still are sending the bills though I removed all their equipments in July09 after their confirmation of disconnection.
        I wrote 20 mails in the process and wrote t Nodal office but they insist on their side of story and forcing me t pay for the period I did not use or request the connection.
        I request your help from agonising experience of chasing them for unwanted billing.

        I have requested the Airtel company to disconnect my airtel landline phone no. [protected] about three months back vide request no 902440 dated 22.12.2009 but they have still not disconnect my above phone till date. The company is harrassing me by sending rental bills regarding above phone which I never used after 22.12.2009. I have already deposited my all dues upto 22.12.2009 which may be checked by the company from their records. The height of hassassment is that I have received another bill no. 12034869 dated 10.03.2010 yesterday for Rs. 559/- for the above phone which I have already surrendered three months back. Now I am thinking to surrender my mobile no [protected] of the same company as the company's repersentatives are harrasing me by calling me repeatedly regading above landline phone. If my above landline phone is not disconnect immediately by the company than no option will left with me other than going to the consumer court. Immediate response soliciated.

        AirTel — I register request to disconnect my landline phone connection 3 months back but they don't disconnect it.

        My Airtel landline no is[protected]. I registered a complaint to disconnect the broadband connection in SEPT 2010 but they didn't do it and asked me that they will give me 2 months bill payment waver. But when I check my Oct 2010 month bill then there was no waver was provied. So Again I registed a compalint by dialing 198 airtel customercare. This time I strictly asked them to disconnect the connection. But they din't disconnect it. I registered 4-5 times complaint in Nov 2010, strictly asking them to disconnect the connection. But they didn't do. Again I registered a complaint in 1st Dec 2010 through customercare(198) and asked them that I will file case againt to Airtel then this time they told me that they will disconnect it. On 15 DEC they disconnected the connection. Now they are asking me for the bill payment last 2 months(NOV and DEC).

        Please help me on this.

        I had requested for deactivation of broadband connection. But my land line itself has been disconnected since one month. I have contacted repeatedly and received various complaint nos but no one seems to be acting on the complaint. The arbitrary disconnection of the phone by airtel has resulted in loss of business to me.

            sir, ihave a lifetime airtel connection from ap statei m roaming in gujarat and i wentfor a recharge of talktime
            i asked the dealer to charge rs.100 talktime and he did but the message sent didnot give any talktime balance but instead it said that i had to avail some hellotunes worth rs.90 instead subsequently i had recharge afurther rs110 and finally get rs90 talktime on my no.
            i am an old man of 64 and i need talktime not hellotunes
            ishould have been told that i will not get talktime, but that is not done by company dealer. he fought for his money and i had to pay as i would have been abused and maybe more in an unknown town.
            i cannot contact andhra customer care from gujarat so my money is gone fromunder my nose.
            is ther any justice mr. mittal can give his customers

            I am using airtel mobile service my number is [protected], I have not subscribes for any value added service but airtel activeted sheroshayari, cricket, jokes and hello tunes directly, here it is also notice to you that your 121 costomer service not responding and cheating with me.kindly discontinue the service of my mobile.
            I have a lifetime connection. Airtel had advertised a recharge of Rs 52 valid for 30 days under which STD was to be charged @75p/minute. I got the recharge for Rs 52/- but the echarge message showed recharge of Rs 0 and MRP 52Rs. I made STD calls but i was being charged from my old balance and not out of the 52 Rs recharged. what exactly is this scheme?

            Airtel — Recharged for Rs 90.00 but 0.00 talktime.

            i recharged for our mobile on yesterday(24.10.09) we received an sms stating "Recharge for Rs 90.00 and get Rs 100.00 Talk time". after that we recharged for Rs 90.00 but after the recharge the talk time was Rs 0.00. After contacting customer care they informed me as it is a booster pack and no talk time for this. Moreover i can cancel the booster but no refund or talk time will be added.

              I wanted to use GPRS service on my phone so I called Airtel 121 services there one Customer Service Executive said I can get GPRS service (Airtel Office) @ 199 with unlimited use. He also said that there will no other charges for it so I ask him to activate this service. but when I get the bill of previous month Airtel charged 1498/- for GPRS service. I called again 121 but they said they had not activated Airtel Office @ 199 Rs.

              I want to take legel action for this.
              My phone no. is [protected], Prepaid. My balance had got deducted twice of about Rs 100+ each time, while i was using internet services, although i had already activated that 50 mb free on Rs 5 scheme. n now m unable to use internet services also.
              also when i'm calling to custmer care no. [protected], they are replying as my phone no. is wrong prepaid no.

                am facing a negligence and lack of information from Airtel. I own a airtel postpaid corporate connection.. suddenly i am facing high bills from the last 3 months.
                whenn got it checked came to know that my service had been deactivated.
                i had a top up for which i was paying n its deactivated without my consent.
                i am using airtel for the past 4 years n this trouble is firts time when the customer care is nt reachable n everythin is ending in vain.
                i feel like going for a legal action against airtel n filing a rti complaint for lack of information on their part..
                i just want to know that is is also applied for multi national or only government offices..
                well i just want to be compensated by aitrel..
                i really want to make ware that first airtel will lure you by giviing you scemes.. n when you will be used to the number, or it becomes important for your business, then they will snatch services from you. you feel handicapped .. i am payong heavy bills n nop one is replying me from airtel...

                such a loophope from their end.. very poor services.

                    There is a cricket sms service activated on my moblile No [protected]. This service was not activated by me but a daily charge of Rs 5 is deducted from my balance. Inspite of many complaints to customer care the service is not deactivated by the company.

                    airtel says that recharge with 47rs & message 500 national/local sms daily for 30 days....but instead they cheat upon us & gives us only 100message per day. when i called customer care about it they told me about it as govt. rule being applied to give only 100message per day with effect from 1st march,but i haven't seen any such rule being brought out in the paper,even their website has the same thing that recharge with 47 & get 500message daily but soon i cross the limit of 100 message my main balance start deducting!!!!...PEASE HELP!!!

                          Sir,

                          I had airtel broad band connection[protected] from approximately June 2006 to somewhere in 2008.For first I used to get the bills correctly and I paid them without fail. But after one and one year I changed the house and updated the address to respective department. They shifted the connection also. But, then after I used to get bills ater due date, at times no bills received. Due to these reasons I was not sure about...

                          I am getting message from 10 days from 54321 saying - "You have been renewed for Bikinichartalert-3day free subscription service from Airtel. You have been charged Re1.
                          from 54321.
                          This message comes everyday and re.1gets deducted from my account.
                          OPTIONS TRIED -
                          I tried to stop it by calling customer care.....I got messages from 1210 saying....
                          "Your request corresponding to Comedy junction could not be processed. Please try after some time"

                          I have also tried with the options from AIRTEL website to unsubscribe the automatically renewing subscription.. using UNSUB <SERVICE NAME> to 54321... as a reply to this...
                          I recieved a message that - your comedy junction service has been stopped. If you want to laugh anytime call[protected] or simply SMS START TO 121.. charges RS 15 for 30 days...
                          THIS WAS DONE.. AND I WAS HAPPY THAT SERVICE IS STOPPED... BUT THE NEXT DAY AGAIN I HAD GOT THE SAME MESSAGE FROM 54321 WITH RE.1 DEDUCTION...

                          I also tried to send STOP to 121.... and got the message-
                          Kindly note there are no services active on your Airtel number. To START a service sms "START" to 121.

                          This is like a virus....for Prepaid....customers... without the permission.. or wish request... THE COMPANY is cheating the customers... This way no one will go for AIRTEL PREPAID...
                          I have seen many compliants with the same problem....
                          AIRTEL IS NOT DOING ANYTHING... ABOUT THIS SERIOUS PROBLEM

                          They say they have started 'Bikini Alert' or 'Matrimonials' and other assorted rubbish for Rs10 for 10 days and so on. And if I don't wnat I should sms STOP. You reply 'STOP'. They merrily inform you: 'Welcome. The service is started.' You frantically sms 'STOP STOP STOP'. They say they cannot process that.                           I don't know who runs this company but it is a shame that such a 'big' man should stoop to the level of a streetside pickpocket. And they do it better than any Fagin or the Artful Dodger.
                          It is like stealing candy from a child.
                          But at the end of the day I can't understand why I stayed with Airtel for as long as I did.
                          I have just given them the boot and switched to another service.. And for now 'Aall is well!'

                            Hon'ble concerned,

                            This is bring your attention regarding the aggressive turns of telecom operators for charging the customers unethically. I am a customer of bharti airtel postpaid service. My mobile number is [protected] and i belong to kerala. I am using this connection from the past 2 years. I have added their value added service called mobile office for using internet connection in my mobile phone. Airtel is having another service called Airtel Live for usage of internet connection which is chargable for per data. That is the reason for opting for mobile office. For one year unlimited usage i am paying Rs,1500 annually. For the last 1.6 years i had no serious issues with their service and that is reason for continuing the service. Now 2 months back i have been charged an excess amount of Rs.333 for usage of internet service. When i complained to the customer care i got a reply stating that the charge is for usage internet service through airtel live settings. But in fact i never used airtel live for using internet service and the settings was deleted from my cell phone at the time of opting for mobile office because i dont actually need it. After a long discussions with customer care executives i failed to proove myself as i have no proof to show them and suffered the money for my non usage. before paying the amount i requested them to stop airtel live service also i informed that i have already deleted the airtel live settings because i dont want me to be cheated one more time.

                            Now2 more month got over and the new issue got pop up. This time i was travelling to Kochin from munnar and i turned on my google map application to find out the route to cochin. The time is 4.40 PM. i got the actual route from google map and kept it in my car's dash board. I reached at Tripunithara cochin at 7.30 PM. All o[censored]s sudden i got a message from 64611010 sating that "Thanks for downloading Wallpaper from Airtel Live WAP Service. You've been charged Rs.10. Enjoy http://gclub.in. I got shocked when i saw the message. Now again i got another message from the same number stating the same matter. I got wondered and i thought to call the customer care. First time i got a reply that the network is busy and the executive requested me to call back after 2 hour. I said I may not be able to call after some time and requested them to log a complaint for me. hence she told that she will arrange a call back after some time. Then i said ok and waited for their call. This happned at 7.39 PM. I couldnt find out the reason for happening so. Anyhow i thougt to disconnect from my mobile office for that time and i did so. After 5 minute i got antoher message from 54321 stating that "Thanks for downloading Java Game from Airtel. you have been charged Rs.99/-. I got realled tensed this time. Becuase if i didnt get a proper resolution what shoud i do. I remembered my last experience. I got upset. I thought of calling customer care again. But the network jammed. I tried many times but i failed to connect them. and the funniest thing is i used to get the same message in 5 minute intervals. Now i got almost 1o message. I got very upset and tried the customer care again. this time it connected and got an executive. I explained everything. But she never beleived me. She told that she has track record i have downloaded two wallpapers from the site called hungama at 7.38 pm. then i asked the file name she told some name which even i never heard in my life. I tried my level best to convince her but she was not in mood to convince her self. She thought that i am lying. At last she transferred to the senior management team. One Mr. Shine attneded the call. I told him all the truth. Even he told the same story that i downloaded the wallpaper. I really lost my control but poor me what to do. I enquired about the games download this time they told that they have no track record of game download and it is not debited to my account.they told that only wallpaper is showing as downloaded. when i heard that my tension got reduced. Now i will come to the real thing, the message from the number 54321 is still coming to my cell phone. Now the count is 14. I told to Mr Shine regarding the story that i am still getting messages fom 54321. He said he will make a complaint to the concerned and i have to wait for my next bill to come for any more rectification. I spoke to him almost 26 minutes.Next day i checked my outstanding bill i couldnt beleive my eyes. They have charged 1406/-. I called to the customer care again. Another executive picked the phone and told me to wait for the next bill to come. They couldnt give me a proper resolution. I want to remove the excess amount charged un ethically. I never downloaded anything. My friends are witness for this. Now i lost the faith in airtel services. But if i go for de activation of my number who will be thelooser? Its not the company i will be the looser. I have given this number to all my customers, frineds and family members. So i cant change my number also recently i renewed my mobile office Annual package. I will loose all if i disconnect the service. I am in big dilemma.

                            Now the comapnies are very aggressive in the market and high competition is going on. Now there are some value added service which can kill the customers by debitting some money even for the non usage. If anyone enquire or complain to them they will tell that they have the track record. Poor customers cant show any proof becuase they are the end users. I request your help to identify such type of frauds commiting by the companies to collect money from the customers also i request your help to find out what has happned in my case which i described earlier. I am ready to do anything from my side to sort out this issue also to dig out all such issues.

                            I want an end to such type of stories and i want a resolution in my case at the earliest.

                            airtel turned on value added services without my permission and is refusing to credit me the lost amount. the most they will credit is Rs 15.

                                Given more than 100 reminders to customer care executives and their seniors for bills/ not received bill for June, July and August till date(24/09/2009)/ made the payment in June month without receiving bill/ gave endless remnders even requested them to send on my maid id/ given the mail id telephonically and send through message as per company procedure/ on (21st Sept to 24th Sept Morning ) company closed outgoing calls without intimation/ this time even paid payment without getting any bill/ even company service centres refuse to give the copy of bill/ here I would like to add that I am two years old customer of the company and paid the bills regularly/ how can company can harrash and affect the business of the cusotmer while the number is distributed/ this is totally blackmailing/

                                Request you to please look into the matter.

                                  I HAVE A CELL NUMBER FROM AIRTEL WHICH I DON"T WANT TO DISCLOSE PUBLICALLY, THEY KEEP SENDING USELESS MESSAGES AND DEDUCT HUGE CHARGES. ON COMPLAINING THEY SAY I HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO THEIR PLANS. MY SALARY IS JUST 5000/- MONTH. I HAVE TAKEN THE NUMBER FOR MY PERSONAL USE AND EMERGENCY, NOT PAYING USELESS CHARGES FOR WHICH I HAVE NOT SUBSCRIBED OR HAVE ASKED TO DEDUCT ANY MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT.

                                    In reference to the aforementioned subject, I Tejas Shah having Airtel postpaid connection (mobile no [protected]) have following grievance:

                                    1. No process/ procedure at the Airtel service centers to give acknowledgement copy / accept written request / complaints
                                    2. Non-conversion of my post paid to prepaid connection, consequence to which my monthly rentals are being levied

                                    Dear Sir / Madam,

                                    I had visited Airtel Goregaon center thrice including today for converting my post paid connection to pre paid connection. During my all visits my request was rejected stating the Airtel systems are down and they would not be able to help me, the only way I have is to visit them again some other day.

                                    On my first visit I took it as genuine problem and hence visited the same center on ---. On such date i.e. ----, I paid my outstanding dues till that date and again requested to convert my postpaid connection to prepaid. However, my request was rejected and I received the same reply to visit again.

                                    Mean while many times I had called ‘121’ customer service number for conversion, on which I was replied that such request could not be done on the phone and I will have to visit Airtel center only.

                                    Today for the third time, I visited the same Goregaon center and I got the same reply that systems are down.

                                    It is very surprising that the collection systems are ‘on’ and only other i.e. service systems are ‘down’. On my questioning this fact to the concerned officer (Mr Arun), he replied there is an IT error and there is some problem in MTNL leased line.

                                    I am common man not an IT expert, but can understand that if there is some problem in lease line then, no systems could get connected “nor even billing systems” (which were working in heir regular course.

                                    Being frustrated and irritated that I have to waste my time again and again visiting the center, I requested to Mr Arun, to accept my written request for conversion of post paid connection to prepaid and a complaint that for petty matters the customer has to visit service center again and again. On this Mr Arun reverted positively and hence I wrote a letter and asked him to acknowledge a copy of the letter. Reading the letter, he denied to acknowledge the letter. Also the Manager denied accepting such written request. They also argued that there is no system / process of accepting written request from the customers.

                                    On my requesting again and again to give me acknowledgment copy, I was also told to speak to the Nodal officer.

                                    From the same place I spoke to the Nodal officer (Ms Shweta), who also initially said that written request would be accepted, however subsequently to having word with Mr Arun, she denied and requested me to give verbal complaint.

                                    During the conversation with Ms Shweta, Mr Arun gave me the option to wait for 15-20 minutes and then they will proceed for the request.

                                    It is very saddening to inform that no adequate service is provided by the Airtel officers either at their service center or through telephonic means. Even the Nodal officer did not respond to the satisfaction answer.

                                    All the officers failed to appreciate that without any mistake or failure on my part I have to bear unnecessary rentals and charges for the mobile. Further, no body os bothered about the customer’s time. The only solution is to visit the center again and again

                                    Moreover, would please take a note that since today i.e. 24 September 2009, I should not be billed for any monthly rentals. (Why should I be burdened with financial losses since Airtels’ system are down???????)

                                    Hope my request / complaint is clear and I would get some positive response.

                                      I am Receiving unwanted and unnecessary push messages from Airtel live and every time i receive the message 1 rupee is getting deducted from my account . I have called up several times to customer service and spoken to Customer care officers, Each time i was promised to clear the issue but so far nothing is happened. I am still receiving the push message . i request the authorities to stop this immediately.

                                      My mother is using Airtel SIM and my mothers mobile number is [protected].She had receiving unnecessary messages from Airtel from numbers 55341 and other numbers starting from 55...... from more than one year. She has complaint this matter to Airtel authorities in Bhilai, chhattisgarh for 4-5 times and no action has been taken so far by the authorities to stop these incoming messages.Please take stern action against such authorities for their lousy approach and stop these messages immediately and give relief to my mother as earliest.
