Hi,
I have applied for Airtel broadband connection initially in first week of August. In the feasibility check (took 2 days) the Airtel persons said it is not feasible to give a connection in my area (Madiwala). Then I dropped going for Airtel and thought of going to some other service provider.
But after few days I got a call from Airtel person saying that they can give the connection in 7 working days, and I said OK. They have collected the documents and Rs 150/- extra from me on 19th Aug 2009 and debited the deposit amount of Rs 1000/- from my account on 21st Aug 2009.
After one week I called the executive Anand and got the reply saying that it will take one to two days to give the connection due to some tag confirmation from his officer. After 2 days I called him again and again but got the same reply, after one more week also same reply. Even I checked with his manager Rajasekhar, he too delayed convincing me to wait for 2 more days as i have already waited for 2 weeks, but no use.
Finally i booked two complaints[protected] and then got the reply that it is not possible to give the connection for some stupid reasons. When I asked them to refund my amount, they said it will take 15 working days to refund. how funnyyyy? one more funny thing is even if i call the executive now he is saying he will give the connection in few days though it is not feasible. very funny... I had very good opinion on airtel earlier but lost everything now by seeing similar incidents to others also...
I didnt understand what the hell do these guys do in feasibilty check and why should they come back and commit to give the connection in 7 days if they cant. Because of this i wasted almost a month time....
i have recorded few of the conversations to book a cheating case against these for wasting my time... just wrote a mail to TRAI and waiting for reply.
....PLEASE DONT GO FOR AIRTEL BROADBAND NEW CONNECTIONS, I THINK THEY HAVE EXCEEDED THE LIMIT AND THE EXECUTIVES ARE JUST PLAYING WITH CUSTOMERS TO RUN THEIR BUSINESS...
