Respected Sir/Madam,

Subject- Compliant against Mobile No-[protected]( Airtel Services Punjab)

Myself Vinay Gupta having connection No.[protected].This airtel connection [protected](Youth Pack)in this connection i was availing the service of GPRS(Mobile Office)@ Rs.99 Unlimited access .

Airtel has deactivate my GPRS(Mobile Office) on 14/05/09 at 8:55pm without my information.On 17th May 2009 The balance of Rs. 84 has been deducted from my airtel account without any use.

i have done many Email & Compliants on [protected]@airtelindia.com and Nodal Officer also but still now didn't get any resulotion.

In last year airtel has deactivate my Mobile Office service without my information. but on behalf of My complaint again activate my service.

i request to please help me for activation of my Airtel Serivce of GPRS(Mobile [protected]@Rs.99 Unlimited) or Youth Pack & Refund my Deducted Balance Rs.84

hi, i m using airtel pre-paid, at least once evryday 20 rupees are dedcted frm my account for using Airtel wap..but i hv nvr used or subscribed such service.When cøntctd they say at 121 we r v.sorry, this wl not happen in future bt same thing s repeating again n again
Dear Sir:

I am from Konark. Your authorised dealer "Talktell" at Rupali Square, BBSR (Infront of IDCO Tower) is misguiding customers. For example, I went to them for replacement of a sim card of my relative in village, which was not working where they informed me that there is no sim card available and to checke after one day. While I checked today, the Talktell personnel told that the concerned person required to come who is now village near Konark.

Pl see the difficulties since there is no provision to be present while replacing a damaged sim card except the identity proof which I already show to them.

Therefore u r requested to instruct your dealer called" Talktell" in BBSR for not to harass.

    Sub:- No action taken against my complain made with Mr. Sagar Kulkarni, executive, Airtel, Aurangabad regarding non coverage of Airtel network at our residence since last eight months, using six phones by us under corporate plan scheme of your company.

    Sir,

    We had made a complain at your Aurangabad with Mr. Sagar Kulkarni, your Company Executive,
    On 15/01/2009 regarding non coverage of Airtel network at our residence using six phones by us under corporate plan scheme of your company and also with your customer care – 121.

    Further we had requested you to give us credit of monthly rent and fixed charges since November’2008.

    Our network problem has been verified by your technical team staff and executive from time to time but no actions are taken yet. You can check the same with your technical official Mr. Bhusan [protected] in Aurangabad.

    The old complain is also enclosed herewith.

    Please go through with the same and take immediate action and refund last eight months rent.

    Sub:- Non coverage of Airtel network at our residence since last four months using by us under corporate plan scheme of your company.

    Sir,

    We undersigned using six post paid connections under corporate plan of your Company since more than one year. All the services were quite good enough but since last four months we are unable to get Airtel network coverage at our residence. We had made number of complaints with customer care and local outlets of your Company for the same but unfortunately still the problem is live as it was. We got number of assurance from your side to tackle the problem time to time but the same is unsolved.

    Further we got assured from your customer care that your monthly rent will be waved off for all the periods charged during non-coverage on all the six phones using by us under corporate plan. But unfortunately these charges are still billed to us and no credit for last four months for these monthly rent charges were given to us.

    Since the problem is still live and your commitments are continuously failing, we would be forced to surrender all these numbers as on last day of our billing cycle if the network coverage problem at our residence is not solved and also the credit for such monthly charges were not allowed to us in up coming bill of next monthly billing cycle.

    Hope you will consider this grievance at most urgent basis and take immediate step to resolve these problem. Please note that we would not get you recollect back as we got fed-up from your side.

      I'vea Airtel landline 4079225 in Lucknow. I had taken a Broadband plan of Rs799/- PM. On 17th March'09, i requested Airtel helpline that i don't want broad band any more. I was informed that a combo plan of Rs 250/- is available which can be used for land line as well as internetas and when reuired to which I had agreed. The request no 625089 dt 17/03/09 was registered and I was informed that it would take 7-10 days to effect the change in plan. It was also told that for such period pro-rata bill would be raised out of Rs 799/-plan and before implementation of new plan i would be informed.

      On 21/03/09, I had inquired with Airtel helpline but I was told that it wouldtake few more days. Reference number of interaction was given as 70268651.

      Again on 25/03/09 I had enquired but same reply was repeated by call center. Reference number 70866049 for above request.

      Finally on 4th April'09 I was informed that theplan is implemented.

      To my surprise, when I received the next bill, it shows excess use of Broad Band and a bill of Rs 1100+ only on account of DSL charges. On enquiry the call center informed that plan was changed on 19th March'09 itself. All details were given to Call center and thereafter every alternate day some one from Airtel is calling us asking how much amount wouldw pay. But the billed amount is not getting changed.

      Now Airtel has disconnected the telephone without any resolution of the compliant.

      Airtel Landline — Billing complaint

      For the last 4 to 5 months, have been complaining to Airtel on their 121 and till date they have been billing for the services "Gaming Calls". It is a pity that they do not respond to the complaints made nor cancelling the facility which is not required.

      Airtel Landline — wrong commitment

      i cant call std call in my landline phone of airtel landline.i call coustmer care in 100 times.but they reply wait 4 hours .some complate number is<[protected]> name yogender.and 2nd is<[protected]> name dipali.

      Airtel — landline bill plan was not changed

      This is regarding my complaint against airtel for not changing the bill plan on
      time.

      I had requested for migration of bill plan last month. and it was supposed to
      get effected on 6th.
      I also made a payment of Rs 3000 for my internet usage according to old plan till 6th.The guy assured me that bill plan will get changed on 6th.
      But on sat, we got a call saying that , this change was not done..


      The worst experience was when I called the customer service yest to enquire
      about it.. and there one rude guy took the phone and gave bad service. He
      rudely mentioned that there is not request made. But I am sure that I made a
      call on last week of may to change the request plan. it either on
      23rd/24th/25th may for sure..

      I just got shock when i saw in airtel.in that from 5th to 11th, only the dsl charges are
      4500..This is definitely a mistake by airtel and I request to you check into
      this matter with top priority.
      I definitely don't want to pay so much amount for mistake which I have not done.

      AirTel — Update in Billing Plan

      Hi
      I got an email from Airtel that my billing plan has been updated from 799 to 899 .

      I called back the customer service and they told that we dont call anyone and will provide the update via email , I asked to revert back to me to my old plan but they said that it was not exsist any more and cant be gvien . The customer service was not helpful at all .

      I asked to xfer my call to next level , while transfering the call the they disconnected and never called me back.

      Not sure what to do now since to call customer care again I have to pay the calling charges .

        I am using Airtel Datacard since December 2008 and since from then I have faced the problem 6 times. Even now the net connection is getting disconnected every after 5 minutes. I have registered the complaint with the Airtel Customer care on 13th May 2009. It was told that it will be resolved within a week. Still the problem exists. I think the Airtel Data Card is the WORST data card in India. I would recommend the other users for staying away from it.

        airtel data card give me a very bad service. this card give a very slow data and always seen as page can not be displyed which is very bad... at its server always down and fail...
        Hi,

        I have purchased Airtel data card almost 2 + weeks back. Card number [protected].

        I think this was really a bad decision on my part. I raised complain same day when connection was activated mentioning that this does not give me speed to work.

        Most of the time it does not connect ( as signal is really weak). After I raised the complain I was told that this will be resolved before 30th of May. Someone from Airtel visited my house on 26th May and said there is no signal in this area.

        I waited for 30th and called your customer care almost 15 times since then but everyone says please talk to my manager. When I talk to manager he says he will get back within 2 hours. This has happened almost 15 times and looks like no one cares after selling the instrument.

        I really need help here else I don’t have any other option other than going to consumer forum to get my money back (Instrument cost).

        Before purchasing instrument I called your customer care and they said me “if your Airtel mobile has signal data card would have and they gurantee it to work”. I also asked from showroom on ITPL road to tell me the speed, they said minimum 2 mbps. While for me any web page does not open – I just keep refreshing it.

        My house location: Flat number 20011, Prestige shantiniketan. Whitefield road, near ITPL Bangalore.

        I tried to connect every time from above address.

          Airtel Bharti Limited — Network Coverage

          Dear Sir,

          This is now going beyond limits. Nobody is taking my complaint seriously. I have been suffering for last 12 days. I am loosing my business and image just because of such bogus companies.
          This is completely contrast to their tv advertisement.
          Any ways, I believe that there should be a hard punishment for such companies who is playing and wasting customers money, time and reputation.

          Airtel Limited — Network Coverage

          I am using an Airtel post paid connection by the No.[protected], almost more than 1 year back I had called the customer care and registered the complaint regarding non receipt of network coverage and there was no response from the company for next 3 months I used to call every day & every time I was assured that the network problem will be resolved in next week.....and that never happened. I had visited the Airtel office for more than 3 times and lastly for fighting for 3 long months some of the Airtel executive visited the residence and checked and found that the area of Banashankari II Stage has got some serious network issues to be addressed.
          After 15 days of the visit a network booster was installed at my residence. Soon after i had given my feedback, regarding non satisfaction of the service of network booster.
          Subsequently I had also met Mr. Sanjeeb Kalita the customer relations head of Karnataka region. He had assured me that the complaint will be resolved in next couple of months and new site will be installed at the Banashankari II Stage.
          Till date there is no progress on the same & I have been following up on the same on a continuous basis. Every time I get an answer that the complaint will be escalated to the technical department. Now I wonder that is there any technical department in the Airtel office??
          For the last 3 months I have not paid my Airtel mobile bill and have asked the company to rectify the problem faced and to provide a permanent solution for the network coverage issue.
          Now I have noticed that the outgoing call facility on my mobile is barred and I cannot do anything. I had also asked the Airtel officers to waive off the last one year billing against my no. There were numerous telecom conversation on this issue but all unheard.
          Is it the responsibility of the customer to make the timely payment of the mobile bills and the service providers to ignore all the complaints and to disconnect the facility for the mistake of their own? Till now I used to make my payment on timely basis, but an attitude like this by a service provider is not justifiable at any point of time.
          I am complaining in the forum against the activities of the service provider Airtel, for the unethical practise of the service provider.
          The outgoing calls from my number was barred from 15th May 2010 & now the incoming calls are also barred from 8th of June 2010 for the negligence of the service provider.

          I hereby plead the court to kindly issue the judgement to the service provider to restore the network service to my number & also to resolve the network coverage problem faced.

          Airtel — Non Responsibility for poor Network in our area

          Airtel Bharti Ltd — Complain for poor Network

          Dear Sir / Madam,

          I am Jatin Gondaliya, working at Utran Power house(GEB),Utran,Surat. I (and my most of colleagues) have Airtel post paid connection since long time, but we(all my Colleagues) are suffering from very poor Network of only Airtel in our Area. Due to this problem, we are troubling with our work in day to day office time period.

          Though we have given so much complain to Representative of Airtel Customer Care, but no any Satisfactory solution is given from your end and Problem is still persist. If this problem will not solve with some period, then we will change operator (MNP).

          we are expected little positive response from your end as soon as possible.

              Hi,
              I have a sim card the no is [protected].i had given a request 3 times at your call center for deactivating the card as im not using it any longer.But no action was taken against it, then i recd a call from your care centre stating that your request will be processed.Then suprisingly i recd a bill of Rs 1421.58 in the month of April 09.When i called up ur customer care a guy named GANESH said, no request for deactivating card is recd and if i do not pay the bill then all my other AIRTEL No's will be deactivated is this the way your call centre guys are trained...
              After asking his seniors contact number he disconected my call without any further communication...
              this is how you guys satisfy your customers needs...
              I will not be paying the bill for the No [protected] when i have not used for last 3 months...


              looking for a revert on urgent basis...

                Airtel is a fraud company.I have a postpaid number.At the time of recession some payment of mine is not clear.I carry the service of airtel for last 2 years.I am a heavy user.Every year i paid the full bill.My to tal due bill was 3200 INR.I paid 2500INR.On very next day they inactive my SIM and claim that if you will not paid the full the sim will be inactive.Please tell me how can i tolerrate it.In airtel terms and condition paper no where...

                  This is with reference to my mobile no [protected].( This is a 9year old connection. )

                  I has this individual connection and when I came to know that my company HCL has a corporate plan toe plan with Airtel.
                  I had a send a mail to Airtel inquiring about the documents and method of documents submition in April.
                  I got a mail from Airtel that three documents were required: Salary slip, Company icard copy and employment letter from HCL in April.

                  Please find mail below from Airtel service center which states that I can send the documents on email to get the service activated.
                  It was mentioned in the email that all documents need to be send to Airtel at 121 email id in PDF format and only email would suffice ( This email is attached below by shankar Sathyanarayanan ) .
                  When I send these documents for conversion, the plan was converted.

                  Now Airtel has disconnected my connection after 1.5 months and the reason given to me by customer care is that the documents were not submitted .
                  Now I am being asked to go to service center for corporate connection.
                  Neither the customer service outlet, nor customer service nor their Nodal officer, no one respond to my query.

                  What I don't understand is that if my documents on email was not enopugh then why was the no converted into corporate. And if documents were enough, then why am I harrassed now?

                  Why was such a misleading mail send to me ad now I am being harrasssed by deactivating my no. without any information. Is the written email has no santity from Airtel?
                  I have contacted Airtel officer at HCL, Airtel service center, Airtel service center, but no one is able to help me.

                        Sir,

                        I have purchased an Airtel Digital TV connection 10 Apr 2009 for a sum of Rs 1750.00 with three months free service as per company's policy. On 13 May 2009 the said connection was unable to receive any channel. I contacted to customer care set by the company to lodge the complaint. But even after repeated trails I could not succeed to contact customer care executive. Very next day I again began to contact the customer care service. After lot of trails I was able to contact the customer care executive and I told the problems I was facing. He assured that the engineer of company would contact me after a day, ie, very next day. After three days, a representative came to my home and examined the set top box. He told that set top box got deffective and it needed to be changed and assured that very next day it would be changed by their company.

                        Since then I have been trying to contact the customer care or the company representative, but neither any reply nor any action has so far been taken.

                        In view of the foregoing, I earnestly request that the set top box including accessories fitted by the company may please be got removed and a suitable penalty be levied upon the company and I may please be paid the amount so that I will purchase the same system from another reputed company whose performance in the market is good enough.

                          (1) Broadband connection was running for more then 1 yaers or so. Without confirming the customer, Airtel has disconnected my Broadbvand connection. And for reconnection, Airtel has given me the time of more than 8 days which not acceptable. Here are two issues which need to to be investigated - first why Airtel has disconnected my Broadband connection without the customer's consent and second is even if by mistake they have disconnected it then why they are taking s long time to restore it.
                          Already VOICE is working right now. All wiring is alreayd is in place. All Hardware is in place. Then why Airtel is taking 8 days to restore my Broadbnd. Following are the impacts due to this diconection:
                          (a) Impact on my son's study who is in class IX. Internet was a great help which he can not access it. His home work is suffering due to this.
                          (b) My company is Global and my role is global, therefore, I need Internet access at my home which is impacting my work righ now.

                          (2) The fact is that when Airtel had given me the new connection at my house a year back, I had subscribed the combo PLAN of 499 where I had facility o[censored]sing Broadband as well as VOICE. After some time, I had requested them to upgrade my PLAN to 899 with high Internet speed. After 4 months I requested again to degrade my subscription PLAN from 899 to 499 FLEXI PLAN where both the facilities are there VOICE as well as Broadband. But somehow AIRTEL has wrongfully deactivated my Broadband Account.

                          (3) My experience so far dealing the customer care is not ver happy and with no positive results. The customer care team has shown no sign of any sympathy towards my case not they have given any commitment nor exhibit any transparency in the whole case. No ownership. No accountability. I have been calling them daily to do follow-up to find the status of the my Broadband but all of this of no use.

                          (4) I have also tried to called their Floor incharge Ajay Bansal and Sumendra at Custome Care and the Nodal Person but so far there is no relief on the case.

                          Lastly I am pleading all of you concerned again to resolve the above problem ASAP.

                              This is to inform you that inspite of several reminders & request given to airtel to deactivate the post-paid connection of airtel no.[protected], nobody from airtel took the matter seriously & of recently i get a call from airtel that i have a 2 months pending bill amount to be paid, (when i have already paid all my previous bills). Now the executive from airtel (MANISH) tells me that i have my last bill payment pending, so i requested him to either give me some discount or wait for a few days/months because i have lost my job due to all the recession that is going on. Then there was a call from (ASHOK ) saying that he is the Advocate of Bhoiwada Court, Barrot no.4, Byculla (E) hired by airtel company. He says that i have to pay the total amount & later he started aruging & then he went into the abusive language. On 21st April, 09 at 2.15pm he calls on my fiance's no. & tells HER that he doesn't want the amount but he wants my fiance's & that he is coming to the billing address at 5.00pm.(in the sense that Ashok wants to hit my fiance).

                              So I highly Obilge you to look into this matter. If anything happens to my fiance (be it anywhere) I will file a complaint against your reputed Airtel company.

                                I have Airtel Prepaid connection having number [protected]. I was out of station from 5/5/2009 to 19/5/2009 for a visit on official duty. I require the bill against the same period to submit for reimbursement from my employer. I approached Airtel Center for it, the attendants there turned down the request for the printed bill, saying it's against our policy. Please arrange for the bill. Even soft copy of bill will do at email 'prabodh.[protected]@tatamotors.com'.

                                I think we should approach TRAI to make it mandatory to give detailed bills for prepaid customers too. The telecom operators has the information so they should be able to give it to the customer. The Airtel CC told me that only if Police commissioner request they will give the call details. They cheat the customers in the name of instant bill details. Who knows what all they have already deducted . People will not always keep track of the last balance and all of a sudden one will find entire balance over.

                                  Here is the copy of the first mail I sent to the Airtel customer care web service. Useless to say that it has been of no use at all...
                                  First I was very upset about the employee who didn't give a damn about my issue, then after seeing that everybody was just behaving the same I decided to go further as I think it's not acceptable for a company as Airtel to treat the customers in this way.

                                  I would like to know how can I find an association or a lawyer to get justice on my case.

                                  Today I'm a very upset Airtel customer. I've been a client for more than one year now, with the same number, and it was perfectly fine.

                                  3 days ago somebody stole my mobile phone during a trip in Kolkata.
                                  Yesterday evening I came back to my regular Airtel shop in Lajpar Nagar 2 (O-9, Lajpat Nagar-II, Below Union Bank of India, New Delhi- 110024, tel: +[protected],[protected] and I ask for a new Sim Card with the same number.

                                  My number is 9717******. At that moment a woman checked on the system and she told me the number didn't match with my name. I explained that it should be a mistake because I have this number since last year. Then M. Raj XX came and checked, and told me the system was not working so I should come back today. So I did. Same problem, and this time I could check by myself that there is an issue in the system because the number indeed was not a my name. I told M. XX that it should be an error from the system because I perfectly know what is my number. He said: "I can't do anything, this is not your number". After staying and explaining that it had to be an error, he told me I could fill the frequently called number and that it will work but it will take at least 2 weeks.

                                  I came back home to get the numbers of the last people I called before I got my phone stolen, wrote it down on the paper, and I even found my sim card box, the one I got in 2008, june, after somebody stole my phone at that time. So I also wrote down the simcard number.

                                  I went back to the shop, showed everything, M. Raj XX checked on the computer (he still didn't have any doubt about the possibility of an error from the computer) and told me that he could find only one number above the one I provided and that it was not enough. I told him about the SIM No, he said it wasn't matching (makes sense, as the system is wrong since the beginning). He never proposed to check in the paper documents that I provided last year when I subscribed to Airtel.

                                  I'm very disappointed about the behavior of that person, who wasn't even respectful and didn't try to help at all neither to look for a solution.


                                  My request, is first of all to get a new SIM Card with my old number (9717******, Jean-Yves MICHAUD) as fast as possible. And for the prejudice and the time lost at the Airtel shop I would like M. Raj XX to pay for it (it's rather symbolic, but he was very impolite in his way to not care at all about the problem.)


                                  Looking forward to hearing from you soon, as I'd to get my mobile number back as soon as possible.
