I have a airtel post paid number i am using it since last 4 years but i am never satisfied with the servies by the services operator dnt know why does Airtel does it

is it that airtel has got many customers or Airtel does not value the old customer

In fact i am fed up with airtel but i cant change my number that is the reasons why i am with airtel still now

Can any 1 give me a solution to this

Airtel Postpaid Number — POOR Response Airtel Cust Care-38216046.

This is with regards to the issue which we are facing for the past 48 hrs. I have been calling various people and talking to multiple executives in airtel to get this problem rectified but nothing is working. Each time I call and ask for the next level of escalation, I don’t get a proper response. The executives are not willing to send any sort of e-mail response about the problem and not even ready to share contacts details for the next level of escalation.So much so as I talked 5 times to 5 exacutives...evertime it started from the start of the page inspite of having allotted a complaint No i.e. "Manual settings" check the settings ,,,swith-off th mobile,,,remove the SIM & swith-on & will be perfect although IT NEVER RESOLVED THE ISSUE TILL NOW.

Really disgraceful to know that what is the SLA for this type of issue

Best part is I registered the complaint on 29th with a response that The service request no is 38216046.We will get back to you by 06-JUL-2011

Still now I have not received any call from AIRTEL afer even 48 hours even though Yesterday & today I talked to exacutives to expidite the process still no response.

My porting code will expire on 06th hence I am just waiting for couple of days. Really disappointed for the treatment with a Corporate customer.

Totally agree with you guys, they just been thought with few template, just mugged up and keep on repeating the same thing, specially i am disappointed with back office.

      Sir/ Madam,

      I regret to complaint that i purchased a post paid SIM No [protected] on 04 Jun 09.

      On 11 Jun 09 the SIM suddenly vent out of service.
      on contacting service center they said that since they made a call to my mobile to check my credentials and i did not answer. As such my no has been blocked.

      On further asking them that OK i am now giving my credentials please release the blocking! They said that this is not possible.

      I find the system non conducive to a customer.

      Please help opening the number at the earliest.
      I am holding 4 Airtel connections and i will be forced to discontinue the nos if my SIM is not opened at the earliest.

        pl unsubscibe wap services for my mobile no [protected]. immediately . as i am in no need of the same presently. thankyou
        i have a problem with my prepaid account whenever i recharged my prepaid with any denomination. after the refill i have a problem of deduction of amount. on that type of message that you have been charged Rs.30/- text & subscripition base service on airtel wap. but i am not using airtel wap since last 3 months but the message from service provider is very quick when im again refill my account again balance deducted. after whole when we complaint to the customer care the customer care executive said on our system no service activated on your no. so what can i do to get free from this complaint. tell me the reply or any talk to officer other wise right now im think that i loddged a case against airtel in consumer corm.

          I had Airtel datacard Number [protected], which is purchased on 13.04.2009 activated on 20.04.2009.I have recd only welcome letter.So for no bill summary hard copy.Several times contected airtel authorities thro' message also customer care number 121/[protected].But in welcome letter they have shown last date of payment 25.05.2009.Also they have reg the complaint, for that replay " Thank you for calling Airtel Customer Care, your Service Request reference number is 27413220. We will get in touch with you by 20-MAY-2009 09:30:00.Time: 18/05/2009 09:19:24 " In that case what I have to do?

          I was struggling for miss calls and abuse SMS from online web services .I have register the case against criminal (it is online, NO FIR) to www.cybercrimepolice.com and problem has been solved in one day.

            I purchased a new SIM from a nearby shop run by one Muruga at Reddiarpalayam in Pondicherry, who in turn had purchased the card from a dealer at Reddiarpalayam on Pondy-Villupuram Main Road and the phone number [protected] allotted to me was also activated. I also filled and handed over necessary APPLICATION FORM, MY PHOTO IDENTITY AND PASSPORT XEROX COPY about 20 days back, but all of a sudden, my connection to the above number has been severed and any call made to that number is REJECTED. It materialises that the dealer was asked to send the application in bulk to the AIRTEL Head Office and till then I am asked to wait for reconnection. I have made all the payments. THEREFORE, I HEREBY CALL UPON AIRTEL COMPANY EITHER TO HONOUR MY APPLICATION AND RESTORE THE CONNECTION FORTHWITH ON RECEIPT OF THIS MESSAGE OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE RETURN BACK THE FILLED IN APPLICATION FORM ALONG WITH ENCLOUSRES AND THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF Rs.500/-, so that I may seek connection with any other company.             it is infom you that i bought an airtel prepaid connection at manipal karnataka MIT Campus(campus stores) under student scheme connection about 11/2 yrs back dated 14/[protected] &issued no. [protected].As address verification we deposited necessary documents asked at that moment. Now after 1 1/2 yrs they (airtel office at tiger circle, manipal)inform me that the number held by daughter is illegal & invalid .Initially they barred the incoming &now outgoing as well.When I contacted Mr Asif customer care technical executive at [protected] he informs me THAT THE ENTRIES ARE NOT MATCHING. if the fault lies on the person who enters wrong details &mixes up all the entries then why the consumer be held responsible for such a deed.Besides the balance which was around Rs400/- has become ZERO when a new sim is issued onthe same no.I categorically regret the dictatoriol behaviour of such arenowned company like yours on genuinine subscriber. As I have been informed that nearly 1000 no. are suffering with the same fate. Isn't that the person has mixed up all the entries because of the rush on the addmission day at MIT MANIPAL.Kindly see that the subscriber is not harasssed on no fault of his/her.I wiill feel happy if the things are put in normal order as previously with the balance &good sense prevails.Inform me at above Email addressOR mob no.[protected].

              I AM USING AIRTEL POSTPAID CONNECTION. ONCE I CALLED TO 121 FOR CHANGE MY HELLO TUNE, WENT THRU IVR PRESS 9 FOR TALKING WITH AIR TEL CUST CARE EXECT. I COULDNT CONNECT WITH THEM, SONCE THAT DAY I COUDNT CONNECT THE CUST CARE.
              ANOTHER COMPALINT FOR NETWORK, ITS NETWORKING FOR CONNRCTING, AS I AM PAYING THE BILLS PROPER WAY BUT EVERYDAY 10-20 CALLS GET DROPS... AND STILL I HAVE TO PAY THE BILL
              WHAT THE SHEET IS THIS CREDIT LIMIT? UNTILL 19TH MAY, MY PHONE WAS WORKING FINE, IN MORNING I CHECKED THE OUTGOING IS BARRED, I TREID 121, NOT WORKING. I TOOK MY ROAMING PHONE CALLED TO 121 AND GAVE THE COMPLAINT. NO ONE IS BOTHER TO TAKE THE COMPLAINT. ITS HELL SERVICE I HAVE SEEEN?

                Our website www.packagingconnections.com does not run on Airtel Broadband network most of the time. The reason we understand that our DNS is not getting updated on their servers. It runs well on Reliance/Tatindicom/Airtel Mobile. When we colplain then they just say check your server but when we explain that its working on other service providers then they just give one complain number and do nothing. After following up, they chnage our laptop/pc settings to open DNS so that sites will run even nothing is done on their side and other people on Airtel Broadband continue to face the same problem on this site. Ours is the business site and our company runs on this so we can not afford to have the site not running. When we tried to call them so many times, sent emails, lettrs, we got few phone calls says that they will be soling the problem and would visit the office but nothing happens. Its terrible to deal with 121 of Airtel. They do not want to listen and solve the problem.

                Can anyone help me to get the right contacts at Airtel to solve this problem. Our connection is[protected]

                I am also facing the problem of airtel net connection. It is not working properly. Sometimes it is very very slow and sometimes the connection is not getting. I have called airtel agent to come and look the problem. But he is not responding. So what I have to do .. Please say the solution.

                  hi,

                  i hd requested for F n F facility for one of my family airtel number..but in my previous months meance in 1st bill that facility is not reflecting...i shld be charged 10 ps aer min according f n f facility but that is charged 50 ps per min, , , this is very disappointing.

                  plz correct this poroblem n send me clearification for this along wth corrected bill amount on my mail id

                    Hi,

                    I have got the message for Airtel Validity of Rs 43 for 3 yrs validity, 24x7 10 paise A-A calling, 10 paise A-A msg, 25 paise other msg. and 38 Rs. talk time.

                    I recharged with this plan, I got 38 Rs talk time but now I am being charged Rs 1 / min, even when I call to my friends group. To this group previously a/c my basic plan I was being charged 10 paise/min anf to others Rs1/min

                    When I wrote mail to them and called their hot line no 999 from airtel office or 121, I got the same response that my problem will be rectified within 24 Hrs and I'll refunded my deducted money. But as you can guess, nothing has happened till now. I have almost lost my 100 bucks.

                      I got a top on my account around mid May. Things were going smoothly when until 4 days back I got a SMS stating my HELLO TUNES service subscription will be renewed within 3 days. What do you mean?
                      I never availed your this service and got Rs 30 dedcuted for that. Things dont end here. Today afternoon i got a SMS saying my subscription has been renewed and Rs 30 have been deducted.!!!
                      I immediately discontinued the service. But my 60 bucks have gone down the drain. That too for what?/?
                      'Airtel hello tune'. Which sane guy would use airtel tune as its hello tune.
                      I want my Rs 60 to be refunded asap.

                      prepaid service — airtel radio service without consent

                      My Mobile No.is [protected]. Today at 10.42 i recharged my mobile with rs.100 (Transaction ID[protected]. At 10.56 a message from 543213 has received mentioning that "Airtel Radio has been renewned on your mobile and you have been charged Rs.30." Without having request from me your company have debited the charges from my account. I have contacted customer care 121 and I am helpless.
                      I don't need the Airtel Radio service. Arrange to credit the amount charged atonce.

                      Airtel Prepaid — hello tunes subscribed amount deducted

                      on 29 11 09 i got a call from airtel i have lifted and listen the call it is about Hello tunes i have not selected and the call ended . after some time i have received message saying you have been charged Rs.30 for 30 days and i saw my baance there is a reduction 30 rupees in my account. i have unsubcribed but my amount not received.
                      cheap guys.. makes money worst than a begger does... it happens to every pre-paid offer.

                      I haven't subcribed for Airtel Jokes , for which they are deducting 1 Rs Daily. Even after complaining this to a customer care person called "sentil nathan " this is still hapeening.

                      without my knowledge Airtel Radio has been subscribed and they have deducted rs 30 from my account.

                      I don't know why Airtel is providing such a poor servies to customer .the Person who interacts with people is not good .

You have been charged Rs.10 for 10 days of service". So also, on[protected] at 08.42.35 am I have received a message" Thank you for subscibing to Matrimony on Mobile @ Re.10 for 10 days.
                      WHAT IS THIS NONSENCE ? WHEN AND HOW I HAD SUBSCIBED SUCH USELESS SERVICE ? WHO HAD GIVEN U SUCH RIGHT TO DEDUCT AMOUNT FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT ?

                      I am a prepaid customer of Airtel. I have two prepaid sims. One with No.[protected] and the other with [protected]. I am using Airtel services for more than four years. The later number was added just six months back.

                      Last week, on 09.12.2009, from my [protected], I received a message stating that Rs.30 deducted from my account for subscribing the Airtel Radio services. I did not ask for it or send any SMS requesting to subscribe the service. But the company deducted Rs.30 from my prepaid account with out asking my permission.

                      When I asked your customer service Executives, about this problem one said the money will be credited back to my on 11.12.2009. (With great effort I could get their services) So, I waited, but it was not credited back. Hence, I called the customer services again on 11.12.2009 and was informed that no money will be credited back as I had requested for the services. I was shocked and told them that I did not asked for any such services to subscribe but she was not in any mood to listen to me. She repeatedly told me that the money is deducted only after my request.

                      I very much clear that I did not ask for any such services or send SMS requesting them. I am a 54-year-old person and a simple user of the cell phone. I don’t ask for any special services offered by your network and I never used any one so far. And there are no children in our house to play around. It is a pure game played at their end. This service is activated to my phone at their end with out my consent and the money also deducted for the services. I

                      I don’t know how many innocent people would have affected like me? Out of which how many would complain? They are taking this as an advantage.
                      Please take necessary action against them and ask them to stop the practices like this in future.

                      "Matrimonials on Mobile I have received a message" Thank you for subscibing to Matrimony on Mobile @ Re. 10 for 10 days. WHAT IS THIS NONSENCE ? WHEN AND HOW I HAD SUBSCIBED SUCH USELESS SERVICE ? WHO HAD GIVEN U SUCH RIGHT TO DEDUCT AMOUNT FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY CONSENT ?                       I have also not subscribed for any career tips nor health tips, for which they are deducting 1 Rs Daily. According to the given msg I tried deativating by dialing *321*665# but on return I get a reply saying "Sorry we do not understand your msg"

                      I really do not understand without our consent and knowledge how one can deduct money from my account. With this reason I am unable to call neither send any message. So far, without my knowledge Airtel has been subscribed and they have deducted rs 20 from my account.

                      I don't know why Airtel is providing such a poor servies to customer .the Person who interacts with people is not good . I seek an immediate resolution for this.

                      Airtel/Prepaid Service — Deduction of amount

                      Its a small amount but need to rectify with Airtel.
                      The situation: Deduction of 60 paise for using of Airtel Live services.

                      I have not registered or asked them to provide this service to me.
                      Further I requested them to stop these services to me. They state I should disble the service on my phone.
                      I fail to understand why should i make any changes to my mobile phone.

                      The Airtel Live service should check if I have paid or asked for the service also they should state/alert that you would be charged if the service is utilised.

                      I know its a small amount but am tired of these deductions from the side of Airtel.

                      Have earlier been deducted for amounts Rs 40 and Rs 5. these were credited back. But am tired of doing these rounds to the Airtel gallery.

                      AirTel — Hello tunes deduction

                      Hi,
                      I had to deactivate the Hello Tunes activated on my mobile no [protected]. But the amount Rs. 60 for 2 months was deducted without any warning. I called the customer care and asked them to stop the service and refund me the money.I was told that the money would be refunded in 20 minutes and the Hello Tunes service was deactivated.It has 4 days since I called and I have not received the refund though the Hello Tunes service has been stopped. I cannot even talk to the customer care executive now since that option is not coming now. Please look into this matter as soon as possible.

                        dear concerned,
                        i lt col r natarajan have a prepaid internet connection , sim no [protected]. this is a 450 Rs plan and payment for which is reqd to be done on the 20th of each month. i have this connection since feb 2010. i have done the last payment on 20 nov 10. however the connection never got activated. a no of complaints followed thereafter which are available in your records. i was told that a zero rental plan has got activated by mistake.
                        each time i give a call the customer care would assure me that the 450 plan would be activated in next 4 hrs. this never happened and thanks to the lackadaisical attitude of the airtel customer care who care no less, that i gave up since i was only given false assurances. however i now want my connection to be disconnected and my pre paid amount be reimbursed at the earliest.
                        I am a aietel prepaid customer. Few days ago i called customer care and activated internate facility on my mobile. but from yesterday whenever i tried to access internate it is showing INVALID GATEWAY IP.
                        Kindly help me with my problem and allow me to access internate.

                            I have airtel net connection with phone no.[protected] with account no.14333081 at Plot No.740, Secretariat Colony, Puppalaguda Village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Rangareddy Dist:500075, Andhra Pradesh, when we are in india the panchayat people laid drainage line in our area. In that process the net cable is damaged as per our tenents. I asked them to file a complaint over phone. though they have given complaint, no action was tekn so far. I am returning to india during this month. I, therefore, request you to take immediate action for reconnecting the damaged net cable connection so that i can use it immediately on my return and there will not be any problem in using the internet connection. i have arranged the bill payment during my absence and the payment is made regularly.                               One fine day, suddenly received a sms on my cell saying thanks for subscribing to cricket alert services and they reduced my balance by 30 Rs. After repeated complaints at 121 and also sending STOP sms to 121 and UNS to 52906 they r not stoping the serevice and keep on cutting money from my balance. Pls. tell me what to do???
                              The sms r a headache for me at the night. Should i stop using Airtel connection???

                              I have got sms saying that please call this number to dactivate the service, When i call that number after too many trials also, i have not got any option to deactivate the service.

                              Just type (stop & send to 121) and folllow the instruction,
                              And enjoy its totally deactivated!!!

                              Many times Airtel cuts our valance without any information. Like if we don't want Hello Tunes then also they just send message that your Hello Tune is activated for 10 days for 10 Rs. What is this??? If you are in loss then inform in Medis they will help you to take out some richest person to help you. First inform customers then cut their balance.
                              Same problem..they are literally *looting* 5 Rs. per day from thousands or lakhs (hopefully not crores ) of customers everyday without their consent. This is unacceptable. We send 'STOP' to 121. We get a reply from 1210 saying reply with the serial number of the service to stop.

                              They slyly make the message confusing :

                              1.Cricket updates listed as a '2nd' option and there is a number '543212' beside it. Not sure which one to send(and forgive me for not maintaining a database of airtel utility services which I later discovered that it was a hello tunes number..I have much more important things to worry about in my life) ..and by that time ..they are probably billing us for messages to 121 or any godforsaken airtel service number.

                              2. Reply to 1210 or 121 or 543212 or ??? etc..( maybe 911 or 100 should work from next time )
                              By the way, MANY phones (including sonyericsson models) cannot send sms to 1210 ...(Does airtel know about this..infact, they should.. because they are a mobile network and should have some knowledge about devices using them...so is this is an intended scam?? god knows. ) If i send an SMS
                              as 'STOP 2' to 121 ..i get their favorite reply: "Unable to process request" ...but magically you can "process " 5 Rs. a day from all o[censored]s very efficiently without letting us know or do anything about it !!! great job!!

                              3. Now they even started a 'job service sms' to my phone ..(why airtel why? I never subscribed to anything..stop bugging ( read harassing) me with all your updates ...nobody cares! ...why are you pushing me and thousands of others to sue you?)

                              4. Their email service is horrible. The only reply they know is " We cannot process your request" ..(was your site written by third-rate programmers who cannot recognize the phone number even if it is the only word in the subject???? or are your "higher level engineers" third-rate programmers who know *NOTHING* about giving proper instructions in the email???? ..are they even programmers ?? god knows.)

                              For the sake of other readers, Here is your "prompt" email..atleast thats a flimsy reason stopping me from ranting about the speed of your service although I cannot say anything positive about the quality of your service.

                              What is the exact format? DId you clearly specify what is the format? Is it just the number or some string with "number:98xxx.." form ? Is it not enough if the subject of the email is a single string, with no spaces, containing only numeric characters corresponding to my mobile number???

                              This is the situation for educated citizens in developed cities. God knows what diabolical plans they have in their development teams to exploit people in rural or under developed areas (particularly in andhra pradesh) where most of them don't even know how to send sms and prepaid is their preferred choice of payment .

                              Learn to provide better service, airtel...(or rename yourself to 'con'-tel ) ..you have serious usability issues ( usability disasters is an apt substitute) to fix..( start from giving other "working" non automated email addresses to your firm ..in replies from [protected]@airtel.in )

                              Honestly, I cannot wait for that number transfer option to other networks like idea..I Will most definitely lose my airtel connection like a disease.

                              "My attitude towards complaint" : ("Agree", "Neutral", " Disagree" ???) .. "Agree" would be a gross understatement...be prepared to hear from my lawyers soon at the consumer forum if this is not solved or replied to as soon as possible.

                              And I WILL NOT give you my email or phone number in public ( I hope you understand asking for a person's email id or contact details to be published in public is a violation of their privacy and security) ...

                              Answer my questions here. Why can't you Build an online interface for stopping services??? Afraid your scam will not work anymore? Even if you have such an online service, its poorly publicised I could not find it anywhere...(I don't want to ask if it is done intentionally.. i already think I and everyone others know the answer)
                              This user "airtelpresence" ..does he/she respond only to the first complaint ??? Not getting the reason for this nuisance and the solution to my problem described in the above post will further aggravate my anger.

                              I will be forced to soon send this(the previous post) to all leading newspapers in andhra(before I approach the court) where they have a section for user complaints. Hope I find a larger audience there which should help solve my (and the majority of other customers especially in rural areas who do not have much of internet access or a medium to voice their opinion ) problem... praying earnestly for mobile number portability to pick up in andhra ...for readily apparent reasons described above.

                                  I hold airtel no. [protected]. In the past few months i have been harassed by Airtel employees at every level where they fail to resolve my queries. I had a dispute with your company for around Rs.2000 which was charged to me by airtel for a service not used by me. Your 646 service was activated wrongly and on knowledge of the same i called back to deactivate it. But it was not deactivated and my number was charged with Rs.99 every month for 17 months.

                                  I blindly paid my bills with a trust in your company as i hold the number for more than 5 years now. When i was organising my bills one day i found this charge. I immediately called your call centre to resolve the same. They said they have taken the complaint and i will get a call, but nobody called. I only started receiving calls when i didn't pay the bills then because i already had a Rs.1700 credit with the company. I explained the same to all the people who called but nobody could resolve my matter. They only took a complaint and never replied. Even the ARC couldn't help. I just kept waiting for a call. The bill was 2 months due and late fees had amounted but no resolution. Airtel even disconnected my incoming and after that i have sent so many mails to the nodal at nodal.[protected]@airtel.in but no satisfactory response. I then received a letter stating to speak to Mr. Sanjay Narang at [protected] or [protected] to resolve the matter. On calling the numbers i never could get Mr. Narang on the line. I was put thru different people who either were fired or were on a leave or vacation when i called back for them.

                                  It so happened that one Mr. Dixit called stating that he was from Mr. Narang's office and told me to come see him at the Interface office which i did later to realize that he does not even sit there and belongs to an agency for collection connected to airtel. On repeated requests to meet somebody to resolve the matter i was put to Mr. Mehernosh Sanga, Assistant Manager, Legal Recovery who after a long wait(nearly 1 1/2 hours) very kindly at that moment resolved my matter to an extent and approved of a waiver of 750 and told me to pay Rs.1000 and re apply for my number as it was in PD. The matter i don't understand that if i have taken this matter with the relationship centre, the nodal officers how can you permanently disconnect my number without even informing me. Mr. Mehernosh also stated that the no. will be put forward to a retention department who would give me a further waiver of Rs.1000 but dint confirm anything. I went to the ARC to reapply but due to limited documentation had to wait a day.

                                  Now is where the cheating and false promises start. I received a call the next morning and one Mr. Rohit Sharma stating he was from the Retention dept was on the line. I quickly remembered that Mr. Mehrnosh had stated the same. Mr. Sharma told me that he was at a senior post and could take a decision as my no. was not in PD but TD and he could start it if I made a payment of Rs.1450/- towards the number. He also stated that Rs. 500/- waiver would be given on my number in the next 3 bills to cancel the payment i made. I asked him time and again if the no. would start immediately and the waiver given. He approved the same and told me to even send a letter so he could keep records for the waiver. The very same day that's Friday 29th, 2009 at 1.35 i have made a payment to Md.Adil who was from an agency. When inquired he said payments are collected by them and confirmed that Mr. Rohit Sharma was on a Senior post, senior than Mr. Mehernosh. On confirmations of the same i have paid the amount in cash in anticipation that my number would be restarted. That evening nothing happened, i called the dept again and they said that the system was down and it will start in some time. Its been more than a week and this matter is still in pending.

                                  The latest news being received today with Santosh Narang that Mr. Rohit Sharma has left the job and was not on a senior post at all and Mr. Santosh Narang who was now available on the phone is just putting his hands up and says he can't do anything in the matter. I am sure that there was no Mr. Rohit Sharma and they are just impersonating names and designations. This is a pure case of cheating, false promises, impersonation. As a respected citizen of this country i make a final claim to you after which i don't get a reply i will take the matter on legally. A huge company like Airtel with so many awards and recognition stoops down to such levels is no right. This might not been known by the higher authorities.

                                  I need the same number which is available to me as per my discussions. I am going and reapplying for the same. I only want a waiver of rs.500/- on my future 3 bills as promised to me.

                                  I request AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE for the same.

                                    Did you get any relief? I also have reg number beginning with F started in 2007 and am getting at least 15 smses daily. It's getting worse and I've tried complaining (maybe that's why it's getting worse) I also have airtel landline (more fool me) both mob and land have such bad reception in vasant vihar- apparently one of the mittal brothers lives a few doors from me but he can afford a 10lakh booster on his premises and doesn't give a damn about the rest o[censored]s. Why oh why are the mittals going to take this crap service to africa? can't they sort their own country out first? I get dropped calls, recorded messages and junk smses all day long- got to the point I don't want to answer my calls even if they were genuine...there's alot of harm in that. If we do register our complaint on the website you have to go through a long winded form entering your reg numbers and each sms separately EACH time- sorry airtel but I'm not alive for you only. Think I'll change to docomo!!!

                                    The best way to get rid of these messages is to call the mobile numbers, mentioned in the message, in the middle of the night and irritate them by asking some stupid questions or ask them that you would like to see the property they are offering and also instruct them to pick you up from your house in that middle of night itself. I did the same and was able to reduce 50% messages..

                                      Airtel Prepaid — Several Problems

                                      I am a Airtel Customer(no:[protected])from Sahibganj,Jharkhand
                                      Whenever any of my problem/s rectified by the C/Care they
                                      require my feedback which I give invariably.
                                      But whenever any/some of my problem not rectified or temporarily
                                      rectified,I have only option to complain & wait & repeat it,
                                      though the result is zero.
                                      As you check from record that I frequently recharge,use spl.
                                      tarrif,sending messages,using GPRS,and go out of home net work
                                      and giving bills in roaming call/msg etc.
                                      I have some bitter experices which is not rectified till date,
                                      some times I replied by C/Care in a rough tone and even as
                                      "Aapko jo karna ho kar lo,main kuch nahi karungna"
                                      This is the feed back from your side,though this is not in all
                                      the times.
                                      Now I narrate problem/s and left to you to takeup the matter
                                      if you feel that my grievances is correct and genuine,please
                                      rectify it under intimation to me.
                                      (i)I regularly recharge spl.tarrif(presently valid upto
                                      27.09.09,in which call charge is 0.30 for A to A,0.60 for
                                      other local(Bihar & Jharkhand)and all STD 1.00.It is several
                                      experience that even within validity of spl.tarrif,all on a
                                      sudden the billing is normal as if I'm not availing spl.tarrif.
                                      After several complaint the future billing is corrected without
                                      refunding the excess amt.It is difficult to view all call bills,
                                      though I'm giving one example.
                                      On 21.08.09 at about 10.40 a.m from Patna(i.e not in roaming)
                                      I called a local bsnl No:([protected]) for 2 mts.Tarrif will be
                                      Rs1.20,charged Rs2/-
                                      (ii)Whenever I go to W.B particularly at Kolkatta,my cell not
                                      accessing Ind Airtel automatically.In every 5 to 10 mts I have
                                      the only option to search network mannually which again not
                                      accessing after 5 to 10 mts.
                                      C/care flatly said to contact local(i.e Jharkhand)C/Care and
                                      also informed that from there I have to pay normal roaming
                                      rate while I call to local C/Care.
                                      In this problem I remember some day in Nov'08 or Dec'09
                                      there is some unwanted reply as I quoted above.
                                      (iii)From last 10 to 15 days I am in local network but my cell
                                      is accessing 'Ind airtel' instead of 'Airtel'
                                      For all the above problem I have complained
                                      several times by call and messages to 121 and 876,
                                      BUT NO RESULT.
                                      I will not say any thing more,if you think
                                      the matter is genuine please takeup.

                                      Am a airtel customer for the past 2years. My mobile number is [protected] - Prepaid connection. due to friendship day Airtel have been charged me Rs.64 for sending sms without prior intimation. I agree that airtel will charge money for sending sms from most of the airtel customers, but they will initimate to everyone that they will charge 50p per sms if you send for deepavali, pongal, new year, etc. but for this friendship day i am not aware of that they will charge. Because I didn't receive any sms from them so me too used SMS facility. Now I need my Rs.64 back. I raised a complaint on airtel customer care and they said, they will call back within 24hours. Still I didn't receive any msg or calls. Because of this i faced lot of problems. Then this case is not for me alone. My friends also faced this same type of problems. Need a Valid Response for this.

                                        SIr/Madam,
                                        MY airtel connection was converted from pre-paid to post paid since last two month.
                                        Since then i haven't recieved any bill (ebill on my mail id [protected]@rediffmail.com) even though last month i had paid the bill to continue my service. yesteday i speak to customer care lady told me you will get the bill by mail with in a hour also you will get an sms for the same. but since then i found no sms no email.
