i am gowtham frm madurai tamilnadu my mom hav a mobile with airtel number she had recieved a message before four days it is mentioned in tat message tat her mobile num is selected for a huge awesome prize money (250, 0000 gbp) in a mobiledraws and to get further details they asked us to visit [protected]@live.com .i hav visited tis but i dont get any details abt prize money...i dont know how to claim my prize money so plz kindly help us to know whether tis matter is true or not...tis kind of messages disturb us a lot...plz kindly contact me by [protected]@gmail.com & [protected]...

    Dear Sir,

    We have received a phone call from airtel no.[protected] on my friend's phone who holding the airtel connection on 6th may 2009, the lady on phone telling us that she is the airtel executive from Borivali branch Mumbai and offering us a RCUG group plan which provide rental 49 & free intracalling in group. As the offer is good our group of five agree to take the offer.The lady telling her name as Varsha & ready to send her another executive to fill the form & collect the cash. The boy, whose name was Rakesh Singh holding the Airtel Identity Card come to Bombay Stock Exchange as we work for BSE, & collect the cash amount of Rs. 3600/- & fillup the two forms and give us the acknowledge copy for the same, during this process the Varsha is continuly in contact with us & assured us that the plan is activate by a message received from airtel after 2 hours & the new two sims will be provide on next day. But after 3 hours when the message of activation not receive from airtel end, we contacted on [protected] but it continuously ringing.When we also call from our group phones no one pickup the call from above no.But when we call from our office landline a lady telling her name as Nikita pickup the phone and tell us that it is a Airtel Office & Varsha is gone for lunch when the time is 5.00pm.

    We sure that we are cheated by the group of Airtel Dealer who holding the dealer card( information from customer care of Airtel).So we register a complaint aginst the above no. on 121, complaint no is 21565945.The customer care executive assured us that they will trace the cheater within 48 hours but they not reply again.And the above no.is still live and possible to cheat other people also

    It is possible to trace the people who involve in this racket if airtel take interest as they having the all detail information of this no.If airtel is fail to do so that means they are not concern with the security & trust of people & the contry.

    Friday I have perches airtel sim mob no [protected], and card no[protected] for my wife name –minal s.nimbhorkar from airtel shap shegoan naka amravati (franchises owner airtel) date 5/11/09 at the time of perches card I have submitted all relevant document with 100 ru perches prepaid life lime card but from Saturday my card not working so I complet in office they give me assurance with in ½ hours card is activated but that day not activated my card so Monday I again go this shop their vivek keshrwani (franchises owner )give me again assurance but not activated, so again I go shop 2 o’clock 9/11/09 that time Mr. vivek keshrwani using ruff word and quarrelling with me he abuse me so I complaint him in near gadge nager police station. And now I decided to publish this matter in news paper and lodge complaint in consumer forum Amravati about the mismanagement airtel

    When I got this mail from airtel customer care and I informed Saturday (vikrant keshrvani owner of airtel franchises dealer)shegaon naka v.m.v. road. amravati. he given me only assurance that within ½ hour your mob. will be activate but that day not activated again Monday I informed vikrant keshrvani, same reason he given me.
    2 pm. again I informed office but that time keshrwani use ruff ward and told me complaint to sunil mittal owner of bharti airtel company, that’s why this incident happen. if any member of franchises owner told this problem politely with me this thing is not happen no one till contact me or solve my problem.
    At the time of purchase sim I submitted all document its responsibility of owner to submit my relevant document in your head office no other retailer take my Magic Enrollment Form(MEF) they guide me submit your form over to porches dealer.(kesharvani shop) its not my mistake, ask your dealer submit my form to your office
    Now I don’t want your sim. I will reply you thought customer court soon.

    AirTel — Cheating Case

    Dear Sir,

    I am a broadband/airtel customer a/c no: 15956419.

    I had opted for five month Plan with 6th month Free. The Line was activated on 28/7/2010.
    1. I received a Bill no:[protected] for period 26/Dec/2010 to 25/Jan/2011. Which I shouldn't have received in the first place since the billing period is for the 6th month which was FREE. This SERIOUS LAPSE from the billing department. I was vigilant so I could recognize this as an attempt to De-FRAUD customers like me.
    I am sure this was not an isolated case a lot of people might have fallen for this FRAUD and paid unnecessary bill amount. Such attempts to CHEAT customers are not expected from companies like Airtel which call themselves the leaders in telecom industry in India.
    I hope that the Ombudsman seriously looks in the complaint to check if other customers were also cheated using this FRAUD.

    2. I had registered a complaint no: 559360 on 29/1/11 immediately after the receipt of the bill. I was told that the bill be wavied off and I need not pay a penny. As a part of complaint closure I received a call and I was told that the amount of 980 Rs. is being waived off. Note the bill amount was 1079.84. The amount of 980 does not make the full bill amount which was agreed to be waived off. So I had told the CSR to keep the complaint open since this is not what was agreed on.

    There was no follow up from customer serivce after that.

    3. Today I received bill No. 15956419 which includes the previous bill amount. So I had called the customer service number to check status of complaint number 559360.
    I was on the call for more than 40 minutes. The first attendant said that the complaint can’t be reopened since there is a comment in resolution that complaint is closed and do not reopen this complaint.

    I would like to register protest on the following points.
    a. I was surprised when I had given unsatisfied feedback how come the complaint was closed
    b. If the customer says that he is not satisfied with the resolution and asks to reopen the complaint why is he given lame excuses.

    After much perusal the CSR agreed to transfer the call to his manager. It took more than 10 MINUTES for the supervisor to attend to my call. This shows the kind of commitment of Airtel towards the customer service. I was told that there is some prorated charge of 100 rs. Since my plan was renewed on 22nd of dec. !!!

    Note the facts:
    My service was started on 28/7/10 even a fifth grader would understand that 5 months if any would be over by 28/12/10. Where does the MAGIC date of 22nd DEC come in play.

    When I questioned when my service was started I was put on hold for 10 minutes after which I was fed up to know that it takes more than 10 minutes for Customer service to find my service start date!!!! When it is right in from of him on screen. I had to hang up the line since I would eventually end up paying to my telecom operator for the 40 minute call… I was hoping in vain that the supervisor would call me up to clarify about the delay as part of curtsey. But such things happen only in a dream.

    There are following points to ponder.
    1. Is this the quality of customer service acceptable from one of the top 3 telecom operators in India’s ?
    2. How do the MAGIC dates come in existence for an invalid or a FRAUD Bill?
    3. Why should the customer pay for AIRTEL’S FAILED ATTEMPTS TO CHEAT CUSTOMERS ?

    I am totally FRTRATED by this the kind of service and CHEATING ATTITUDE of airtel towards CUSTOMERS.

    I can't say who's right or who's wrong but these things do happen. It's a pity for you to experience this but these culprits must be brought to books ASAP. To speak frankly, I have received countless calls with the callers stating their identities as airtel representatives. I always give them the "tape recorded" reply. "How do i know that you are really an airtel representative??" Can't trust people these days!! However, airtel should take this matter seriously if they really value their customers.

      Dear Concerned,

      This is to draw your kind attention towards the poor service provided by Airtel mobile. It has become their regular practice to add un-necessary charges in the mobile bill. I have recd no call/sms from airtel about the same but without any consent given by me they add Rs. 60 for 180 mins free local @60 scheme, twice or thrice in the same bill.

      Every month, they are adding this and on making complain they adjust this amount in next bill. In this busy life, I have no time to call customer care again and again and stand in queue. Find attached herewith all the details and reverts from airtel customer care.

      But the problem is still intact. My bills are still showing due amount without any adjustments. I am receiving 2 different sms from airtel. One is showing my due amount as 236.42 & in other sms total due is Rs. 810/-. Bill is showing due amount as 2044. I am totally confused.

      It has become your regular practice to charge Rs. 60 on a/c of 180 min local free @ 60 scheme. When I have never applied for this scheme than why everytime you include this amount in my bill. In last two bills also you have charged the same and on my complaint the same is adjusted. I failed to understand why this is happening again n again !!!

      Now, I am totally fed up with the services of airtel. Pls do the needful done.

      Regarding billing Plan controversy & complaint against CCE




      Dear Concerned,

      This is to inform you that, I am having Airtel Mobile connection ([protected]) since last 4 years. Previously my billing plan was India Home 149 Plan (Advance Rental) which was supposed to be completed in the month of March.

      I have recd a call from Airtel, and a lady explained me that since my Advance Rental Plan was going to complete, Airtel has a new offer for billing plan, she pitched me another plan for which monthly rental was Rs. 299 and I confirmed her to activate this plan from now onwards.

      Surprisingly, On 13th March, I received a message from customer care stating "Adv. Rental 999 (24 months) Disc. has been activated on your Airtel Mobile with effect from[protected]." for which I have never applied...

      On 17/03/2009, I received another message from customer care stating " As per your tele-confirmation, Bill Plan for your Airtel No. will change to Magic 299 wef next bill cycle." I got relaxed because this message was as per my telephonic confirmation with the lady.

      Today i.e. (On 19th March), I have received a call from your customer care ([protected]-VIVEK), he asked me if I have any issues with the services. I explained him about the problem as it is mentioned above.. He was just compelling me that I have consented and confirmed to AMIT (I dont know who is he), to activate 999 Advance Rental Plan. I told him that I have never given any consent to anybody for 999 Adv Rental Plan. In reply, he told me that I have to pay 999 very sarcastically. I told him that I will not pay 999 otherwise I will deactivate my Airtel Number. He again told me that he is forwarding my request for cancellation.

      Is this the way your CCE deals with customers ?? I would suggest you to please throw out these kind of executives (atleast in the recession time), who even don't know how to retain the customers and who don't know how to talk with them.

      I am having some more Airtel Nos just because I was having a good faith in Airtel's services. But with this kind of services and behaviour, I am depressed.

      Further, this is to clarify again that I have not applied for Adv 999 Rental, and interested in Magic 299 plan only.

      Bharti Mobile Service Provider — Un due charges asked to pay

      I have received a letter from Bharti Airtel Limited regarding Outstanding Dues on my Airtel no [protected]. In this connection yesterday I had discussion with Mr. Rashid (Airtel Executive) to resolve the matter Mr. Rashid has commit me to arrange a call back to me within that 1 hours to know the status of Cell Number but till date i have not received any call from Mr. Rashid (Airtel Executive) several time i had give call to the given no. but every time the no. found busy or not responding. I have already paid all the dues in respect of my disconnected no. i dont know why they asking for dues of Rs. 886/- please help me to resove the problem.

      This is a complian regarding my Airtel Post paid no.-([protected]) bill. I have taken the Airtel connection before 2 & half month, but till time I have not recieved a single bill. For this i called to customer care centre, appelette officer more than 25 time but they always given false statement. and still the problem is same. I am getting my other bills on same address, but I do not recieved the airtel bill till time . I have also told them if they can not deliever the bill than they disconnect the number but they do not doing that.

      I receive reimbursement from my company after providing them original bill, but due to not availabilty of bill I am paying from my Pocket. thats why i want to take other servises...

        I am a Customar of Airtel Mobile services from Andhra Pradesh. From recent months ie from six months onwards without subscribing to any wap services also I am being Charged With soomuch money. Eventhough I complainted several times also the same thing is being happining.

        For instances From Airtel Wap services on massage came to me for one trial offer If I am interested in the Offer I may be charged Weekly Rs, 10/- But without my permission without my concern I am beeing charged nearly Rs, 50/- without using the services.

        Massage comes from 64611010 that "Thanks for downloading wallpaper from Airte Live serveics. you have been charged Rs. 10/- Enjoy wap mobifun.in"I got this massage on[protected]at 6.30pm .

        2)Message from 56363and64611010 "Thanks for using (arche-comics-wa, Comicsstrip) Subscription services on Airtel Wap. Youhave been charged Rs.10/- On[protected] at 7.13pm

        withot any subscription to biknirichaler daily iam getting message that you have been charged Rs 5.It may have been subs cribed unintentionally but when contacted to customer care they told no service is active on ur mobile pls help.

            I have been using Airtel postpaid connection for more than a year and after every month or two, I was charged unnecessarily Clip Charges of Rs. 50. I raised many complaints in this regard, but nobody cared.
            For past four months, I am being charged at a different rate plan. I have been raising complaints/ sending emails to them everyday since Feb., 2009 and infact I have a long list of complaint nos. which nobody bothered to resolve. In the month of March, I got a call from Airtel saying that I will be getting a waiver of Rs. 500 for all this mess, but till date I have not got any waiver. I did not pay my mobile bill for the month of April (which was Rs. 290) assuming that I am getting a waiver of Rs. 500 and hence I did not need to pay the bill. Now they have disconnected my number and when I talked to customer care people they are saying that it is disconnected because of non-payment of bill. I don't understand when I am getting a waiver of Rs. 500, why should I pay a bill of Rs 290. Same thing happened with my wife as well. I don't know whether Airtel has found some new ways to cheat the customers. There services have become really bad. Now, I advise everybody to think twice before taking Airtel connection, because they are big cheaters. It has happened with many of my friends also.

            Airtel — waiver of clip charges

            I have to make requests on 121 for reversal of clip charges repeatedly. Inspite of repeated calls and promises that no clip charges will be levied I recieve the clip charged to my account every time. Kindly ensure that this charge is not levied again and all previous charges are adjusted accordingly.

            I went to the airetl showroom in the month of septmember to change my bill plan.i filled in all the relevant documents which was necessary so that the paln could be changed however to my surprise this wasnt chanded till december.
            I had been using Airtel Services since 4 years and had been paying the charges on time.Being an old customer, my request for compensation on the charges is not being granted.Inspite of calling the Customer Care Unit everyday regarding this matter, the Unit is not responding properly.Is this the kind of service Airtel gives to its Customer who has been paying bills regularly since 4 long years ?

            I hope my request will be considered and please reply me as soon as possible.Hope that you will take right steps within a small span of time and oblige me.

              This is regardig and illegal construction of a mobile tower in a residential area by Airtel Mobile Company,
              We have even filed a case in the court and while the case in in court the owner of the house is doing the construction, he is least bothered about the case, now being court vacation he is doing all this work. We have tried to stop the work by the muncipal authorites but he will stop for the movement after they leave the place he will again get into work. He has kept the generator on second floor violating rules.
              The tower is being constructed on the second floor of the building which is not strong and it is sorrounded by houses, there is a school nearby, two temples, one mosque. After knowing about the ill effects of mobile tower radiation we have opposed the construction. The owner of the building says I am constructiong tower on my building what is your problem. Our house is an old building which is tiled house and we dont have any other place to go. The owner of the building has got own house and property in a place 8 kms away from our town. Please help us.

                Airtel Mobile Post Paid — Statement of Bill for May 2008

                Airtel Mobile — bill not received

                Airtel Mobile — BILL NOT RECEIVED

                I did not receive my March 2009 bill dated 06.03.200 for my Mobile Number [protected]. I lodged the following complaints with Airtel:

                1. Complaint No. 21414237 dated 20.04.2009
                2. Complaint No. 21502716 dated 29.04.2009
                3. Complaint No. 21656078 dated 18.05.2009
                4. Complaint No. 21746639 dated 29.05.2009
                5. Complaint No. 21759855 dated 30.05.2009

                Despite all these complaints, I did not receive the Bill. Incidentally, I received the April 2009 Bill which was duly paid by me before the due date.

                I followed up continuously with their Call Center (No.121) but there was no satisfactory reply from their side.

                Whenever I would call up, I would receive a standard reply that the bill would be sent within 5 working days and then the executive would hang up without any further communication. Subsequently the complaint was also closed without delivering the bill.

                Then one fine morning, the outgoing facility was barred.

                I took up the matter with their Nodal Officer at nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in and with their Appellate Authority at appellate.[protected]@airtel.in. I was given the following complaint reference numbers by them:

                2.[protected]
                3.[protected]
                4.[protected]
                5.[protected]
                6. 21759855

                I was assured by Mr. Satish Pathak & Ms. Poonam Sharma that the serices would be restored and the bill would be delivered within 5 working days. They had also conveyed that I need not make the payment till the time I did not receive the Bill.

                However, the services to my mobile phone were terminated on the night of[protected] without any warning.

                I'm quite distressed as it has caused a lot of inconvenience and embarrasment.

                Airtel Mobile Post Paid — Non updation of payment made

                I paid an amount of Rs.600/- against bill of Rs. 578/- on 12th September 2009 ( Due Date till 14th September 2009) at their Customer Relationship Center, Sector-18, NOIDA vide reciept no.2422663.

                This was a off-line reciept as their on-line system was not working. This has not been updated despite several complaints on their mail address [protected]@airtel.in, care.[protected]@airtel.in and nodal.[protected]@airtel.in. Also, the calls to 121 didnot provide any solution.

                On their suggestion, I visited their Customer Relationship Center which took a copy of my reciept and told me that the same will be updated. It has not been done so far.

                Airtel, instead of interacting within their network is time and again asking me to go to Relationship Center and enquire.

                I donot know what kind of service they are providing.

                I'll suggest persons to think twice/ thrice before going for Airtel as I have faced problems in all their dealings. There is no body who owns responsibility in the company.

                I am not able to attach the copy of bill and enclosing reciept copy also.

                Help, if you can.

                    Dear all,

                    I am using the corporate cug connection for last three and half years under plan of rs.299/-. Now i have given a request for change of plan the same has been rejected by airtel team. Please find the case details below.

                    One of my friend told there is a 249 plan is going on in airtel, then immediately (Last two months back) i called customer care 121 they told me to visit our nearest branch or visit splendi towers in begampet along with id so that they will change the plan. Then after one month i have visited splendi towers in begampet, i have spoken to one lady she told me their systems are not working right now, she informed me to visit their branch after 16th because there is system down. Then asked to take a request for change plan she advice me to sumit id card and company pay slip. After 16th. Again i visited their branch along with id card and pay slip, they told to pay whatever outsanding amount on that date and deposit of rs.500/-, on the same day i have paid the amount they have given receipts also. They informed me your request will be executed after 15 days automaticllay. 11th of may one lady call back to stating that your request has been denied, she told me you are using cug connection due to this for change of plan you need to submit company letter head for change of plan.

                    Again on the same day i have given online complaint for the same they called back to me today stating that your request has been denied. I am fustrated now i have informed them to cancel the connection then they told me to submit the company letter head stating that " please cancel the my post paid connection" is it possible to provide the company letter head these type of small issues. If they want my address proof of any other thing i will sumit, it is not possible to provide the company letter head

                    This is the very very very poor service given by airtel, in the front office has know newledge about the product.

                    Why they have not informed me all the formalaties when i visited their branch.

                      I had recharged my account with Rs.250 Voucher about 8days ago.And I had got the message that my account is valid till 13 July, 2009.But when i got a topup of kids Plus for Rs25 about five days ago.I got a sms from TA-DTH that my account balance is in negative so i should recharge it.And today morning it got suspended.I am surprised why my my account has been suspended though it was recharged a week ago.

                        Airtel — mobile bill date 8.08.09 period from 008.07.09 to 07.08.09 not received by mail or by post

                          I did not receive any satisfactorily reply from the Airtel on the same and requesting you to please look in the details and provide the resolution.


                          I am mentioning complete details of the persons I have interacted with in the Airtel Customer care regarding this issue:


                          · 21-March-2009 with Mubashir: I inquired about the International roaming rates in the USA; and also asked for any plan Airtel has to save on my International roaming outgoing Call rates. He informed me to use the Airtel Prepaid WCC (World Calling Card) to make any calls to save on my international roaming.

                          ::: This clearly mentions my intention o[censored]sing my cell phone in the USA for which the resolution was to use the Airtel WCC to make any calls while on international roaming.



                          On 30th April I received an SMS that my usage is Rs 7076 and make payment as this amount is near my usage limit.



                          · 2-April -2009 with Zeb Fatima: I inquired about the details of the whopping Rs 7076/- as I did not made any calls directly from cell phone but via Airtel WCC from my cell phone. She told me that my bill has not generated and she cannot provide me the details on the same. I was curious to know, if the bill amount came as a result o[censored]sing Airtel WCC to make calls through my cell phone.

                          I asked her, Madam “Do you agree that using my cell phone on international roaming and making any calls via Airtel WCC will not having any effect on my postpaid bills.”

                          Reply I got was “Yes, call charges are very nominal if you use the WCC through your cell phone”.



                          · 13-April-2009 with Mushfiq: While discussing my problem with him on my international roaming charges, he had no clue whether I have to use my cell phone or not. He was sure, that using my cell phone on international roaming with WCC will not have charges on my post paid bills which he accepts in the call and he asked me to log a complaint for the same to [protected]@airtelindia.com. He accepted the charges are incorrect because he did not have the knowledge that making calls on international roaming via Airtel WCC through cell phone will have higher charges.



                          · 20-April-2009 with Pankaj: He analyzed and discussed that quickly come up with the resolution that, cell phone should not be used to make calls while using Airtel WCC on international roaming. He discussed with his manager and asked for investigation on the said conversation details. He told me that all the calls will be monitored and proper reversal will be provided, if found the mistake from Airtel. As per his call made to me on 21 April, they were investigating the call records.

                          · 24-April-2009: Received a call from the collection department of Airtel. Informed that they understand that mistake has happened from Airtel but cannot help because they don't have authority to reverse the charges. Informed me to contact Nodal Officer.

                          · In the mean while I was writing to Nodal Office to get the satisfactorily resolution of my problem.



                          · 5-May-2009 with Gaurav Mishra: He understood the problem and the pain I was going through and investigated few of the recording happened between me and Airtel after provided the details. Discussed with his manager and come up with an offer to help Rs 3000/- from his side. As he is not authorize to provide any major relief more than this. He told me to escalate this issue to higher authority in Airtel to get the full refund.


                          Even though, Airtel executive accept that charges needs to be reversed back I am being harassed constantly.

                          All the Outgoing calls while on international roaming made to "[protected]" need to be reversed. This is the same number which is there on the booklet. I have made all the calls by dialing this number only from my cell phone.



                          Even though the information on the booklet says “Making calls from cell phone and mobile phone will have higher charges”



                          But to get any latest and updated information, you always call customer care for all necessary information, which I did.



                          Airtel insist that you call our customer care 121 for all the latest information. Which I did, but the customer care executive did not have the sufficient knowledge on the same and provided the incorrect information.

                          I am raising this concern for almost a months and Airtel has accepted that they have provided the wrong information on the same.

                          Don't you think this is a total case of Harassment? I hope you can understand the pain I am going with.


                          Hope to receive a fair justice on the same.

                          does it mean when u make calls from this access code u pay something more than u should pay. in other words do u get charges on ur cell phone from ur cell phone company? do u get the same minutes the card tells u when u dial this number? thanks

                          Airtel is helpless because the US Network has charged airtel for using their network
                          Foreign networks will charge you for everyconnected call. They are least bothered whether u use a callin card or not

                          But the blame goes to airtel customer care and you too should be blamed for making outgoing calls without any sense. You should have a common sense that international calls are too expensive so same would be in the case of roaming

                          And avoid postpaid connections while roaming, WHY TAKE A RISK>>>!!!

                            Purchased Airtel prepaid connection at Patna 2 weeks ago. No [protected].from local landline .The no cannot be reached.Message is' this facility is not available on your phone.'From local and outstation mobiles the connectivity is poor and even local calls have to be prefixed with 0 sometimes for calls to materialise.
                            I have taken up the matter with airtel but despite assurances there is no redressal.

                              Dear All,

                              After a long ordeal of around eight to ten months i was forced to write to the nodal officer. My Airtel Mobile number is 9967662XXX. and i have been using this number since early 2007

                              Let me bring to your notice when my problem began. Since Aug 2008 when a fire broke out at one of your towers in south of mumbai the coverage at my residence in Andheri West got worse.

                              Since then i have been calling 121 almost every 15 days to solve my network issue.

                              We are in May 2009. so for the last eight months i have been diligently calling 121 and raising a complaint almost every fortnight. You can imagine the number of customer service executives i must have spoken to. At least 80 to 100.

                              And each time that i have called i have only received the "We apologize for the inconvenience Sir, We are raising an issue on priority" reply.

                              However the priority never was really a 'priority' because i am still waiting, Eight months is not a short period.

                              Let me also bring to your notice that I have never in the last two years delayed any of my monthly dues. I have been diligent in paying the bills.

                              Hope you understand what a traumatic experience have i had in the last eight months. FYI, I am an advertising professional handling a leading telecom brand and so I am updated on how the trade works.

                              Call drops, low network coverage have caused me immense trouble. there have been times of emergency when i wanted to make a call but i couldn't because of the poor network coverage.

                              I am writing to you in hope that something will be done about my complaint.

                              I would also like to narrate my experience at the Airtel Relationship centre at fort, mumbai.

                              When i described my problem to one mister Abhilsash all he said was the same "sorry for incovenice" line.

                              I requested him to see if he can unbar my outgoing since i have been regular in paying my bills every month. All he did was nod and say that he cant do anything.

                              To add to my irritation i saw the entire counter passing some electronic messages on each others' screen and laughing. That’s quite unprofessional and extremely un-friendly for a customer service executive to deal with an already traumatized customer.

                              Let me just be fair to you and your organization and tell you that i soon will be filing a case against Bharti Airtel in the consumer court for "mental trauma, agony and monetary loss."

                              Airtel — Pathetic coverage and service

                              Airtel is India's worst private telecom services provider. Few problems that customers face are: 1.the calls get disconnected. 2. a person has to redial a number b'coz the calls do not go through for the first time. 3.For post paid users, they never send the bills on time, becoz then they can earn more money in the form of late fees (fine).

                              Airtel Postpaid Connection — Pathetic Network & Services

                              Respected Sir/Madam,
                              I, Naimil Shah, residing in Ahmedabad, am having an Airtel Mobile Postpaid Connection (2 No.s) including [protected] as a primary number & [protected] as an Add-On number. For the last 10 Months, we are facing a Network Problem ('D' Grade Network) in Naranpura Area, for which we have been reporting to the co. for the last 8 Mths.
                              Initially, the complaints were verbal, but when we didn't get a reply for 4 Mths., we went for a written complaint. But, we didn't get anything other than the Ref. No.(s). Finally, we went to Bharti House and again we were provided the so called Ref. No.(s) & a date as a deadline (07-jan-10) for at least a move towards a solution. Till now, nobody has either visited the site or called up for the solution.
                              In this kind of dissatisfaction, the only thing the customer will do is not making a bill Payment. When it comes to it, the co. just bars the services.
                              We were also offered 10% discount on the forthcoming bills February Onwards, but now they have given it only on Voice Usage on just One No. When we asked them, we were told that the complaints were raised for just One No.
                              Isn't is Pathetic when both the No.(s) are used by One Family, they are having the same billing address?
                              Pathetic way of treating a 7 Year Old Customer.

                              airtel/postpaid — Pathetic Customer Service

                              I was an Airtel customer and promptly ported out of this pathetic Service provider as soon as MNP option was made available.
                              There was a final payment that was required to be made which I did on 8th February 2011 at the Relationship Centre at Koramangala. On repeated confirmation with the exec if the amount was the final, he answered in the affirmative.
                              Just 2 days later and till date I have been receiving 'reminder' calls from Chennai for a payment of 256/- else my number will be deactivated permanently by my current Service provider.
                              I have written emails to their [protected]@in.airtel.com ID asking for a statement or explanation on the break up but to no avail. Other than a system generated acknowledgement i have not received any response from this poorly run company. The lesser said about the quality of the execs calling me the better. There is no updation in their system of what the customer requires and different agents keep calling to whom I am forced to repeat my requirement.

                              I am thankful that I have ported out of this PATHETIC service provider and would suggest all other users who are subject to the SUB STANDARD & DEFICIENT service that AIRTEL provides!!!

                              Airtel Postpaid mobile connection — customer care pathetic

                              We have been trying to disconnect our Airtel post paid mobile connection for the past 3 moths, but the customer care is not being helpful or there is no one to guide as to what we should do regarding deactivation.

                                Its Regarading from Hello Tune Rental. December 10th automatically activation Hello Tune on my number ([protected]). i dont know how to activate the Hello Tune and one thing i am not asking or request to customer care regarding Hello Tune. And December 10th my balance is 19.59 INR. But you have charged rupees 20 for 20 days. How is it possible. Then i am calling Airtel Customer Care and they are not solving my Problem not only this i cant contact with customer care. To block this facilities. i think these all problems on your staff. Because Dec 8th & 9th i having one problem. so i am claim my balance. But they are telling this is not in my side problem. so sometime i am argument to your staff. So thats why i telling your staff activate my hello tune. So immediately cancel my hello tune and refund my balance. so i requested to solve my problem as soon as problem as it is very important for me.

                                  4 months back I switched Airtel PostPaid to Airtel Prepaid becoz of poor network in my office as well as home and stopped using services from Airtel.Kept the number only for few imp calls. Sent SMS to stop Missed Call Alert service thrice.But in vain. inspite of recieving a confirmation sms that the service MCA has been stopped I am charged Rs 15 everymonth. I have all the sms saved as a proof and I am going to the head office of Airtel in Malad.Pls dont take Airtel connections.

                                  For this MCA service, Aircel has charging Rs. 15/- for each month. As per the service, I am not getting Missed Call Alerts from Aircel. Several times I have complained to customer care and lodge complain through email. They are saing there has no problems for MCA service. But I am not receiving Missed Call Alerts...

                                    Hi,

                                    I have been with Airtel for more than 8 years and now the issues is that, they are not able to resolve my queries or provide proper compenstaion for their mistake.

                                    In the month of Jan - Feb '09 they disconnected my mobile connection without any intimation nor reason. I am still get the bills for payment.

                                    This issue was started due to network issue in and around Bangalore.

                                    I have been in touch with one of the escalation manager (Mrs. Bhanu) for more than 3 months now but with no proper explaination nor resolution for my issues.

                                    I would like to know how to proceed with this and get my issues resolved.

                                    I am sure that people in bangalore have been facing this issue with Airtel.

                                      Hi,

                                      It is almost 4 weeks and my request to convert my Airtel prepaid connection to postpaid is not yet processed. Everytime I contact the person from whom I got the connection or Airtel Customer Service, I get a reply saying wait for 24 to 48 hours.. Got damn you guys it is almost 4 weeks now... how many days still to go???????? The rep who sold me the postpaid connection says that Airtel is migrating to a new s/w which is delaying this process.. can't believe that a company like Airtel needs so much time to migrate their s/w's and they don't even have a backup plan.. I asked my Sales rep to refund the deposit amount and he says he has no prob doing that but it would land me in prob id the post paid connection gets activated.

                                      I think your 24 hours are over. Do we have any resolution yet I think it would make sense for me to convert this number into lifetime prepaid and switch to any of your competitor for postpaid connection. It does not make any sense to wait for 4 weeks to get a postpaid connection.

                                      I am very disappointed by the service offered by Airtel and the worst is that no body is there to listen, all gives you the false statements.

                                      It is almost 1 month and my request to convert my Airtel prepaid connection to postpaid is not yet processed. Everytime I contact the person from whom I got the connection or Airtel Customer Service, I get a reply saying wait for 24 to 48 hours. Got damn you guys it is almost 1 month now... how many days still to go???????? The rep.([protected]) who sold me the postpaid connection, he is not lefting the phone, when i went to airtel hyd corp.office there also said 24 hours to get connection but still now i have not, please sir when i will get the connection,

                                      I am following up since last 7days 2 get my fwp no[protected] converted from post paid to prepaid.

                                      In the process i have paid outstanding amt of rupees 851 on 6 nov 2009 and requsted several times by contacting customer service(*222) but no responce is observed till now.

                                      Kindly confirm forward path immdtly.

                                        Hi,

                                        I have taken ...Airtel postpaid connection by Feb 2009, After so manytimes request by mail or call...
                                        I am not able to get my monthly bill soft copy by email not even AIRTEL sending me hard copy.

                                        recently they sent it on wrong email, i again put the request to correct on email, but still I am not able to get my monthly bill on correct email.
