      please allow us to switch the network cause airtel changing plans according to there profits. we are fedup with those business tricks please give coustmer option to switch from airtel network my number is [protected] i am using gupshup plan in that they offer me 10paise outgoing call to airtel mobile numbers now they are increasng call rates to 20paise to call on airtel number. please give consumer to freely switch network we are not satisfy with those business tricks
      please help me in deactivating my sim as i had lost my phone somewhere

        Hi,

        I was using an Airtel Internet Connection (at first, its speed was worst). But after sometime i moved to Delhi as i got a job there, so wanted to disconnect this Airtel Connection. I called customer care many times, visited their Customer Care Center many times but they always say drop a mail to airtel punjab.
        I dropped so many mails after that, escalated to nodal punjab and then to appellate punjab... but till date connection is not terminated.
        I called nodal punjab and they said it has been terminated in their accounts, but service is still not disconnected and i am still receiving bills for the same.

        This is the worst service i have ever used in my life.

        Sir i am in the Indian Army and last two years i am the customer of airtel punjab but this same no i have use Delhi but now i am come in sudan (El-obied-south africa) . only msg i have recieve. when i have call to any no then mobile showing the your call has to barring and number is blocked.plz sir i am request to u solve this problem because i am so trouble there.i have submit my document complete when i was taking the sim.sir my no. is [protected] plz sir this is major problem and solve this .I am so thankful to u i[censored] have solve when i will then i will again deposit the document.plz sir u will check my document and active my service

          dear sir,
          im a regular customer of Airtel ive never faced such problem from 2005 but nowadays ur deducting amount of 10/- from our balance always, even after complaining to the customer care excutive o[censored]rs, pl kindly stop this inconvinence as we are facing problem .will u pay back our deducted amount ? certanily not so why is this problem! pl kindly do something or else we have to do something.

            Dear Sir,

            I am Vishnu Malpani from Malegaon (Nasik) with mobile no. [protected]. We are facing total airtel network problem in our area and i had made complaint to the airtel customer care about this from December 2008 till now. Everytime they give me reference no. but no progress in the network. They are taking this very easy so please do something. Uptill now i have got total 10 reference nos. but no result.
            Also, i had made this complaint to the noider officer mumbai of airtel, but again no attention.

            Please, take some action against this company.

            dear sir,
            in my area there is no clear network. her other than airtel all service network is working. i m with airtel for past 7 years. i went to head office and complaint about to fix one tower in our area but there is no response. they are telling after one year we will set one tower now there is no chance. how you are marketing i dont know. when there is signal then only customers will stay but here no signal. aircel, bsnl and all towers are there. my number [protected]

              I m those one of the victims who use pathetic service of airtel.
              The problem really started when I wanted to disconnect my airtel postpaid account(Corporate plan199), so called 121 customer care number.Then I went to billing section & waited for customer care executive.I told him about my wish to disconnect the service. He(I dont remeber his name) told that your call has landed in Airtel enterprise service for corporates in Delhi .Your number is from Maharashtra & told me that he could help me & gave me Maharashtra Customer care no.[protected].I called on that number.Following same procedure as mentioned above, surprisingly call again landed in Delhi.Executive gave me same speech as earlier without helping me out.
              Since last two days I am calling on both the numbers but the call is landing in delhi.
              I really want to disconnect my connection as soon as possible but I am not getting any solution for that.
              Pls help me out ... Airtel should be dragged into the court for misleading & torturing the customers, wasting customer's time & money.

              I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER WITH AIRTEL FOR 10 YEARS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT / NODAL DEPARTMENT ARE HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY IN EFFICIENT - THEY ARE JUST CHARGING CUSTOMERS AND DO NOT INTEND TO GIVE SERVICE, THEY EVEN ENJOY SOME KIND OF CHEAP FUN THEY GET BY KEEP ARGUING WITH THE CUSTOMER ABOUT THEIR RULES .. BLAH..BLAH ETC. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GIVE ME A SOLUTION FOR THEIR MISTAKES IN PAT 7 MONTHS. GOD SAVE AIRTEL SUBSCRIBERS LIKE ME, I THINK I NEED TO GO ALL OVER TO RAISE MY VOICE AND FILE A CONSUMER SUIT AS WELL AS MAKE THE BEST USE OF ELECTRONIC MEDIA TO GET JUSTICE. ANY ONE WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH A SIMILAR PLIGHT WITH AIRTEL PLEASE WRITE ON THIS BOARD AND MENTION YOUR MAIL ID, I WILL GET IN TOUCH WITH ALL OF YOU SO THAT WE CAN MAKE A FORUM OR A BLOG WHERE WE CAN DISSCUSS THE ATROCITIES OF THIS SERVICE PROVIDER WHERE THEY ALWAYS TRY TO PROVE THE CUSTOMER IS WRONG, THEY CHARGE US HUGE AMOUNTS BY ALL MEANS, THEY AHVE SERIOUS FOCUS ON UNETHICAL AND UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES, THEY ARE VERY VERY GOOD IN GIVING FALSE PROMISES ETC. ETC.

              KINDLY WRITE BACK ON THE BOARD SO THAT WE CAN SEND THE LINK OF THE SAME TO TRAI, CONSUMER VOICE, CNBC UNCOVERED AS WELL AS WRITE TO CONSUMER MAGS / BLOGS / COMPLAINT BOARDS ETC.

              Airtel — Unethical & Unfair Practices

              I never activated AL Cricket. But it automatically or may be by the will of service provider got activated ( second reasons seems to be more valid). This really happened first time to me. I was really an ardent supporter of services of Airtel. But this event did let me down. My number is [protected]
              i call to the customer care executive to querry the online bill of my airtel mobile bill & while talking to the customer care executive he hold the line for almost around 10 to 12 min. For checking the payment of my mobile bill, the time of call was 06:11 pm to 06: 23 pm dated 17/09/2014. but the executive do not respond to my querry at all & without telling me anything he simply disconnected the line.

              I again call customer care executive &ask him to transfer the call to the senior so that i can speak to the senior for this harassement but he told that its not possible to talk to the senior at all. i just want to clear that im using this airtel connection for more than two years but the service i recieved today is simply horrible.

              I just want to clear that who was the customer care executive i was talking to & i dont think that he has a proper sense of his work as a customer executive and this type of guy will certainly bring a bad name for the AIRTEL make sure that he change his attitude in regards to his work culture.

              More over this call cost 50 p per min. and what did i recieved nothing Zero and as well as the harrasement.

              I have been trying to get a Broadband connection name transfer done for the longest time, I have send some 10 emails with all details and after i call they say we havnt received any emails.

              Its such a simple process i done understand what the problem.
              the customer service people really dont think they know what they are doing.

              Horrible service from AIRtel, will never recommend anyone.

                I am using Airtel prepaid sim card since last 1 year.From last 2 months i was in Qatar and whatever SMS i sent from qatar was delivered on my No [protected], but from here my wife can't reply to me.she call customer care so many times, Cheked message center no. which is also correct.Even Airtel customer Executive also unabel to solved this problem.They even don't know where is problem and they simply say it takes 15 days time.is it way to solve simple problem in fastest technology world?.

                i complain for missing my card to care office on dt.21/10/09 complain no.[protected] and again complain on dt.24/10/09 complain no.[protected] to block this number but your care office not a take action against this.still this card in working condition.

                so sir requested to you as early as possible block this number. it is harmfull to any miss use.
                after this complain your care center not take action.i will futher procuder for fir.

                  this is karthik.R. Am working in WIPRO, bangalore. Me and my friends have taken AIRTEL C.U.G connection.Our plan is H-17. We have unlimited c.u.g calls, but when i went and checked in the customer care office, i came to know that we dint have that benefit and our calls has been charged. Then i raised a complaint and now my connection got cleared. But still my friends number have not been included in c.u.g. I have attached a list of their numbers with this mail. Make a note of it and do the needful. After adding them in c.u.g revise all our bills and give us the discounts too, which can be later detucted from our bill.

SINCE OCTOBER 2005 I BOUGHT THIS CONNECTION FOR Rs.600(Rs.500 REFUNDABLE SECURITY + Rs.100 SIM & ACTIVATION CHARGES), ALSO I BOUGHT THIS CONNECTION IN INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY.FROM FIRST DAY I DONT RECEIVE BILLING STATEMENTS VIA MAIL, SO I CONFIRM BILL AMOUNT FROM CUSTOMERCARE AND PAID REGULARLY.BUT I RECEIVED BILLING STATEMENT IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2007, IN THIS STATEMENT MY NAME IS MENTIONED JAGVINDER SINGH HORA c/o H S R ENTERPRISES.I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE AND TOLD THE ISSUE, THEY TOLD ME TAT MY INDIVIDUAL CONNECTION IS MIGRATED TO CORPORATE CONNECTION, I WAS SURPRISED, AND TOLD THEM THAT I NEVER REQUESTED SUCH PROFILE CHANGE, HOW CAN THEY DO THIS WITHOUT INTIMATING ME, ON THIS THEY LAUNCHED MY COMPLAINT AND TOLD THAT THIS WILL SORTED OUT WITHIN 72HOURS.AGAIN I DO NOT RECEIVE ANY INFORMATION, I AGAIN CALLED CUSTOMER CARE AFTER 7 DAYS, THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS IS JUST A PRINTING MISTAKE, AND THIS WILL BE RECTIFIED.SO I WAS RELAXED.IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 2009, I WENT AIRTEL OFFICE AT PUSA ROAD TO CONVERT MY POSTPAID CONNECTION TO PREPAID AND I COMPLETED ALL FORMALITIES, THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A DUE AMOUNT OF Rs.1496, I TOLD THEM ALL DUES ARE CLEARED AND NO AMOUNT IS OUTSTANDING, AND ALSO TO ADJUST SECURITY DEPOSIT IN THIS PREPAID CONNECTION, NOW THEY TOLD ME MY ACCOUNT DO NOT HAVE ANY SECURITY DEPOSIT, I WAS AMAZED AND ASKED THEM HOWS THIS POSSIBLE, THEY TOLD ME AS MINE IS CORPORATE CONNECTION AND CORPORATE CONNECTION DO NOT HAVE ANY SECURITY DEPOSIT, I TOLD ME THAT MINE IS INDIVIDUAL CONNECTION AND ON WHAT BASIS THEY CHANGED MY PROFILE AND THAT TO BE WITHOUT MY CONSENT, THEY TOLD ME THAT MY CONNECTION TO CORPORATE WAS CONVERTED ON 23/07/2007, I TOLD THAT I AM HAVING THIS CONNECTION SINCE OCTOBER 2005.NOW THEY ARE DEMANDING Rs.1496 TO CLEAR ALL DUES AND THER IS NO SECURITY AMOUNT IN MY ACCOUNT, SO SECURITY WILL BE ADJUSTED.AFTER THIS THEY WILL CONVERT THIS CONNECTION TO PREPAID.THIS IS MY OLDEST NO. AND MY BUSINESS ASSOCIATES CONTACT ME AT THIS NO.                       I have purchased one AIRTEL Pre paid SIMconnection No [protected] since 7 days. At Aurangabad. Maharastra. India. But till date the same has not been activated. I have submitted all required documents & paid the value to the retailer at the time of purchasing the same. But till date ie on 8th day the same has not been activated. Neither the retailer nor the customer care is taking care to activate my SIM.

                      I therefore request you to help me in this problem & arrange to activate my SIM.

                        Cancel my airtel postpaid connection

                        Hi sir,

                        I have been using airtel post paid connection till dec 2008, as i planned to move to u.S.A, i requested to cancel my connection in airtel customer care center( indira nagar, bangalore) on 11 on dec 2008, but it was not canceled and i was receiving bills and i could see that the connection is still in active state. I raised a complaint about this on 3 of feb 2009, to the customer care center, somebody named sathish...

                        We are statysing in Sector 4 Dwarak for last 4 years and inside the house Airtel Mobile network is almost zero. Because of which we got landline also installed in our house .
                        Many a times we have complained to AIRTEL but no action is taken to improve the network range.
                        This is affeccting Dwarkalites and it may for force good number to people to switch to another network like IDEA has good receptibility inside the apartments .

                        AIRTEl should do somethign to improve this.

                          Hello,

                          I brought an USB data card on 12/03/2009, but so far it was working because of poor signal strength.

                          USB Data card IMEI No. [protected]
                          Mobile Sim No. [protected]
                          Package : Combo offer – Rs. 6600/- for 1 yr with USB.

                          From the day one, I was able to connect internet and always may signal strength is less that 3%. Tell me how I will work on this. I informed this to Airtel Sales man(Gopal Singh), he directed some one to look into this issues. But some peoples came and checked and said the same that Signal is 0% inside the house. Later promised me to increase the signal strength from their tower(Quality Bus stop)

                          I really taken trouble and pain on me by choosing Airtel for internet connect. Tell me what I do here? Two way out here.,
                          A) Increase signal strength where I stay.
                          B) Refund my money back immediately.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am Ritesh Kumar Gupta, PostPaid customer of AirTel my number is [protected]. i am existing user of AirTel Rs 222 / Month plan and now AitTel has launch Advance rental plz for 2 yrs in Rs. 995. and this plan is only for new connections. when i am asking to migrate my plan to this new plan they are asking for Rs 1495 for 2yrs + Rs 50 per month as clip charge. (in new 995 plan there are no monthly clip charges for 2 yrs and STD calls are Rs 1 /M )
                            as per TRAI rule which is telecaster on TV and Radio for mobile service provider i have already asked to AirTel customer care and outlet also but thy are telling me to buy new number then only they can give me that plan. i have talked to AirTel customer in this regard and they have given me reference number[protected] but not solution.
                            plz help.

                              Decreased credit limit without any intimation

                              I don't have any word for BAD Customer services provided by Airtel.
                              First they have decreased credit limit of my number without any intimation and then every month abruplty closes outgoing on my number saying that you have exceeded the credit limit. I know on average my monthly usage is more than 1500rs therefore whenI have taken connection that time I checked about credit limit and it was more than 3000rs but now they reduced...

                                Dear Sir / Madam,


                                It is very painful to express my views by going through Airtel Prepaid connection documentation.It all started from Planet M Office at Madhapur and hopefully will end at Airtel Extension counter at Madhapur.

                                Let me bring into your notice that myself Rohit Hunari - your so called contact no: [protected]// alternative no: [protected] had purchased a Nokia handset from Planet M, Madhapur.The documents were all submitted alongwith a photo, one Pan card zerox and local electricity bill where i am currently staying(Kiran Hostel).

                                My number was activated on 1st mar 2009.The were going fine, until an SMS was send on 16th Mar 2009 which confirmed that i need to siubmit the required documents to resume my mobile services.I went to Planet M, they internally spoke to Mr.James who told them that my signature was found mismatch and due to which again i will have to submit the docs. I gave all the documents once again to Planet M office.However, they never inturn submitted to Airtel.Dont know the reason why.Then i started following up with your customer care where i had met with almost every escalation manager Ms.Uma - She gave me full customer support and assured me that a callback would be given atleast to confirm what the case is..however, the callback never came.Then again some days later i spoke to Mr.Wali, he was so confident that my problem would resolve in few minutes and my call which i made @ 9.25 pm from Planet M office, Mr.Wali guided me to go nearest Airtel office @ madhapur and fill up a magic form and my number would get activated within 4 hours.When asked about the timings @ 9.35 pm around, he said it would be open.Your own escalation manager are not aware that the Madhapur office is open from 10 am to 8 pm.Frusted again, i had to leave the Airtel extension counter where there was no form available, i was asked to go at Begumpet office which is 24 X 7 working.Since i didnt had time and energy to go there, i then called @ callcenter and spoke to Mr.Jagdish.He asked another 48 hours from me and advised me not to go office and submit the required docs at Airtel office within your working hours.

                                Today i suddenly got a call from Planet M office where one of your Airtel executive was waiting for me to collect the set of documents which was already given to Planet M.When they asked me about my permanent address proof available, i informed that i can give the HDFC bank online statement.The executive agreed and was waiting for me.Since it was still office hours @ 5.00 pm and i was in a meeting, i said that all the documents would be picked up by my self and then will submit to Airtel office before 8 pm.

                                The documents were all collected and when i entered your Branch office, there was almost closing time and your employees didnt had the energy to resolve my case.Since i had been running from pillar to post for the only reason that my mother is hospitalised and this being my persoanl number, i am unable to make any calls was hurting me like anything.

                                Your branch manager Mr.Anand too did not met my expectations and informed me to take a recent electricity bill and sign of the Hostel owner without which for no reason even when i explained my difficulty was not addressed and i was asked to leave.

                                I was finally informed by Mr.Nagesh that i can submit the docs at your Extension counter and tomorrow morning the docs would be given for processing.The docs are now lying @ Airtel Extension counter, Madhapur which hoefully will gointo the right hands for further processing.

                                When i questioned the Branch manager that if i submit these docs will me number be activated within 4 hours, he looked at me in a bit of a surprise and asked me who said that.Then i refered the conversation i had with your callcenter escalation manager.

                                This is just what i am expessing as of now and appreciate that my number gets activated.

                                Secondly, for all the mental harrassment and physical stress that you guys have given, would like you to compensate on that by refilling my Mobile to an extent of Rs.1000/-.

                                I dont know whether this suggestion will work or not. The SIM cards which are sold alongwith the mobile are to be sold to the outlets where the vendors are explained about the MID(Most Important Documents)without which they cannot sell those mobile phones.

I Purchaed your Airtel Postpaid Corporate Number is [protected] last month 25 Jan, 2010. This is Corporate Plan 500 Rs for 2 Years. Before purchased the number your Airtel Distributer Javad ( [protected] ) Commit me all Information about call charges and 99 Internet Scheme. All my friends and me were satisfied. During the filling the airtel form i mention for Internet activation and also to Your Distributer. He tell internet activated after 24 hrs when your number will activated . But now 15 Days completed no Internet activatted and now your distributed Javed not attending my call. he attend call 2-3 time. and tell me active 4hrs, 5 hrs and tommorrow. He just giving me time last two weeks. Tell me its your way to deal your Customer. Actually i me also using idea. I purchased your number just to listen your better services. Kindly active my Internet 99 Plan soon and take action against your distributer Javad( [protected] ).
                                  If you don't have such kind of service why you give fake commitment.

                                    Airtel has ZERO customer service. Complaints are not addressed in time and their way of resolving something is to send legal notices and try to collect as much money as possible. After calling customer service many times, speaking to several people in collections etc., they are still hounding me for more money even after returning the SIM card and paying all dues.                                     At this point I am beyond irritation as to the amount of time I have wasted talking to people and explaining over and over what the problem is, which is a simple case of being billed on 2 plans for one connection. To avoid such pain in future, I will further be closing my landline and all corporate accounts as well in the next few days. If any further contact is made to me in this regard demanding further payment, I will be forced to post the entire correspondence, complaint numbers, and my bill detail clearly showing who is at fault to internet forums. Beyond that, I have no option but to approach the consumer court.

                                    I have an Airtel Datacard no [protected].

                                    Everything was fine until I asked my plan to be changed as my usage was low. At the advice of the 121 customer care, I sent the following SMS to 345 : “b activate 49 standard data card” on 5/26/2008. I did not get any intimation of when my plan was changed and continued using the data card as normal. The following billing cycle my bill was showing double the normal due. The detail charges showed that I had been billed on both plans i.e. the existing 350 plan, the 49 plan as well as for the 60MB that I had used.

                                    At this point I called customer care and lodged a complaint. Nothing happened and my bills continued to arrive with late charges (now mysteriously back to the 350 plan with no intimation to me). Every time I got the bill I have called customer service (about 5 to 6 times) and had to explain my case over again, with the promise that it will be resolved in 2 days or so, but no one calls back.

                                    Now I have bill collectors standing at my doorstep. The last time I was able to use the datacard was Oct 13, 2008 after which service was suspended. I regularly pay about Rs 5000 to 6000 on my Airtel landline without delay every month and would like to close this matter and resume service. However I do not know what amount to pay and I certainly am not going to be liable for a mistake of being on 2 plans which is not my fault, however small the amount may be.

                                    I would like this resolved immediately and in a proper manner, not some arbitrary amount being demanded failing which I will be forced to terminate the plan, close my landline account and my corporate accounts as well. I am writing from my official email so that I can be notified immediately.
