The airtel topup was been done through online banking on 17/Mar/2009. The money was deducted from the account for recharge but the recharge was not done. On putting a complain for this n the Airtel customer care, the other floor manager Akshyat committed (on 18/Mar/2009) that recharge will be done by 19/Mar/2009 at 1430 hrs. But when it was not done and i called up the Airtel customer care again but this floor supervisor "Shree" to do something on this matter quickly then they told me that the amount will be refstored in 4 working days and do the recharge again. On asking why nothing has been done till now and if they could do the recharge instead of refunding the money i was told no we cannot do it as we dont have the transaction Id. I told it was already provided by me yes'day they bluffed saying we are working on these issues i said this happened before with me some 1 year back and you are still working on it. The floor manager replied with a harsh response nothing will be done neither the money transfer nor the service will be provided and i was challenged if i could do something. On telling about the consumer forum they said do it and slammed the phone.

The amount may not be huge for which i did a top up (333), but apart from this it was more like a challange given by the company executives to me on asking for my rights to get the service for which i've done the payment.

This was the proper harassment that was done by the Aitel executives which are the face of airtel to the common people.

Could anyone help me for this.

    sir,
    this for your kind notice and information that i have taken one moblile connection from airtel on 26th febuary 2009, paid an amount of 1299.00 wide reciept number6751963 dated 26-02-09 towards yearly 1299 plan and i got connection with number[protected], as i havebeen recieving irrelevent calls from variuous persons, i have asked the executive to change the number and consequently on the same day that is on 3-03-09 i was given a new number[protected], and i have been using the same since then, but to my surprise the amount paid earlier has not been credited into my account and there is continuues calls from airtel asking to pay interm payment and threatening to baar the out going.every time i have been repeating the information and asking the called person to resolve the issue but all my efforts are invain. hence request you to kindly do the needful for which i shall be thankful.

    Airtel — AMOUNT PAID IS NOT CREDITED TO ACCOUNT

    DEAR SIR,
    I AM AMIT KUMAR SUMAN A CUSTOMER OF BHARTI AIRTEL POST PAID CONNECTION. MY MOBILE NUMBER IS [protected]
    ON 27 FEB 2008 I HAVE MADE PAYMENT OF Rs 1350.98 FOR MY BILL USING CREDIT CARD NUMBER [protected]. BUT THE AMOUNT IS NOT REFLECTED TO MY ACCOUNT AND SINCE 27 IS LAST DUE DAY AND BEING A REGULAR CUSTOMER WHO ALWAYS PAID THE DUES IN TIME I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT USING ANOTHER CRAD NUMBER [protected].
    ON WATCHING THE STATEMENT OF MY CARD I SEE THAT BOTH OF THE CARD HAS BEEN DEBITED BY SAME AMOUNT BUT IN MYAIRTEL ACCOUNT I SEE THAT AMOUNT IS CREDITED TO ONLY ONE TIME.
    IT IS APPROXIMATELY TWO MONTH BUT NEITHER THE EXTTRA AMOUNT IS ADJUSTED NOR REVERSED.
    ON CALLING TO BANK THEY SAY THAT AMOUNT HAS BEEN PAID TO AIRTEL AND IF AIRTEL WILL RETURN THE AMOUNT THEN IT WILL BE CREDITED TO Y ACCOUNT

    Airtel — payment made but not credited

    A payment of RS. 514 had been made from borivali(wEst) mangal kung through debit card but the company is saying theyhave not received any.

    I WAS RECHARGE OUR ACCOUNT DTAED 24/10/10 FOR THE AMOUNT OF 55/- AGAINST OFFER RS 55/- GIVEN TO 65 BUT WE HAVE RCD ONLY RS 47 NEXT 17 RUPPES NOT RCD TO TILL NOW. I HAVE COMPLAINE AGAIN AND AGAIN WITHIN 15-20 TIMES BUT WE HAVE NOT RCD CALLING AMOUNT. MY MOBILE NO. IS [protected]. MY NAME IS NAGDEO KUMAR.

      hi!

      i have airtelpost paid connection bearing mobile number +91 - [protected]. and i have opted the auto payment from my credit card for my airtel connection bill.

      On 26th december 2008, 100 rupees is debited from my credid card towards the BHARATHI AIRTEL LTD, you can see this in the attached word document.

      The conversation with AIRTEL as follows:

      Initially i would like to say that my issue is not yet solved. And Mr. Zaufer Sadiq, Customer Care Executive.,
      promised me that he will reach with the solution for my issue raised on 20th Jan.

      After this i made so many calls to the customer care, and i spoke to so many people but i didnt get any solution from them.

      Finally i spoke with the floor manager Mr. Sai chand (on 6th Feb 2009, this you can see with yellow high lated text) . he promised me solve my issue with in 2 working days.
      I am providing the call log to the customer care from my end from 27th Jan 2009 to 20th Feb 2009 as below with time stamp and duration i spoke to the customer care executives.

      if i do not get solution for this issue in 7 days (including sat and Sundays), i am going to suit a file in consumer court on behalf of misusing my credit card.

      this is the last chance i am going to give for resolve my issue.

      if i do not get any reply form the any executive or concern depot.(auto reply is not consider as reply), i will consider as that you have agreed for misusing my credit card and i am going to file a suit on air tel in consumer court.

      Bharti Airtel Pvt Ltd — Unethical Billing & Harassing Calls.

      I purchased a Airtel Wireless connection with 999 unlimited plan. However changed to Rs49/month + 10paise/KB on the eve of 15th July 2009.
      However, since I was under the unlimited plan as on 15 th morning, I dowloaded around 1GB of content.
      But Airtel has unethically charged me for that 1GB download at the new rate, even though I was under the old plan at that time & now they are not ready to adjust the amount.
      A bill of Rs 300.00 has been made of Rs 2, 500.00.
      Also the claims department has been giving harassing calls at the landline number that I gave of one of my relatives in the town.

      Bharti Airtel Pvt Ltd — PF AMOUNT NOT YET RECEIVED

      Hello sir,
      This is just to inform you that i have worked with your client bharti airtel pvt ltd chennai (santhome branch) for a period of 1 year and 5 months. I quit the job on may 2009 and they asked to submit all the necessary documents in adecco office t nagar habibullah road which i submitted to Mr.Gafoor ([protected]).They promised that it will get credited after 6 months but still not.Last month i called to adecco help line number they told they are going to submit the form in a few days and they told it will get credit to me in 2 or 3 weeks. Its almost one month but not got .
      Hence i request you to take the necessary steps to process the pf amount and let me know the status asap.Pls find the pf number details below.

      Bharti Airtel Pvt Ltd — did not change my plan after 48 hrs

      i m using airtel sim card since last 1 yr... on 24 Oct they give asseurity to me for changing the plan but till they did not change prepaid plan for my number.... if they giving assurity for that then they hav to cahnge that plan in atleast 72 hrs...if they will not change preaid plan then i will switch this network to others...............
      pls do needful help....

        I am using an Airtel Prepaid. I had complaint many times about poor network/call drop but no response from the other end. I am paying average 2000/- per month for this worst services.
        The Network very weak and the calls are not getting connected when I am in indoor network area. I am residing at Moulali KOLAKATA and the house is situated within the tower area. I have changed my handset many times and have about 10 airtel connections in my house still no network and call drop in all of them

        After months of complaints and e-mails and the tones of complaint lodge no’s, there is no result I am completely fed up of the service to my no-[protected], [protected], [protected] and many more

        WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR CALL DROPS??

          I have been trying to get the billing name changed for my mobile no.[protected].This postpaid connection is presently being billed for my husband Dr Bharat Gopal and we are trying to get the billing name changed to Dr Mamta Gopal[wife].We have completed all formalities and submitted relevant forms at the local airteloffice and made numerous visits in past three months but no result .The no.121 is a farce becauseeach time after wasting half an hour to get to the official they simply dissconnect the line!!My previous complaint nos. for reference are[protected] dt 3/3/09 &[protected] dt 16/3/09.I hope after putting up this complaint some action will be taken & airtel would at least be professional enough to get back to me and solve this simple issue.

            I have changed my ECS account in the month of December 2008 from Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) to Canerara Bank. My bank details are updated to Canera Bank as per Airtel back office/customer care.
            But all my bills are still going to OBC. I called the call centre over 50 times. I always got the stock reply of getting new complaint ID and promise for resolution in 48 hours. Sofar nothing has happend. I am forced to maintain the OBC account by depositing some money every month to handle the Airte's reckless way of managing ECS.

              Airtel and Bharath matrimony are cheating the customers.

              And mentioned to deactivate the service and credit the due amount which is deducted.

              I received acknowledge mail with in 15 min. with unique ref. no.

              And after 3 hr. I got another mail in which they have mentioned that they have deactivated the service and due amount is credited to my balance.

              I have checked my balance and the amount is already credited.

              Airtel — deduction of fees for some matrimonial service that i never activated

              [protected] that is my number in delhi which i have been using for the last about 8 months. A couple of months back i received a SMS message informing me that i have subscribed to some matrimonial update service for which some amount had been deducted from my prepaid balance. Now i am getting regular SMS's about renewal of this service for which Rs 1 is deducted from my account every day. The problem is i never subscribed to this service in the first place even by mistake as my mobile device has got some software error which makes it incapable of sending any SMS's. I tried unsubscribing by dialing 54321 but there is no unsubscribe option in the voice menu. Why does airtel have to cheat?
              Same thing is happen with me. I am living in Pune and auto subscribing for Matrimonial done on my airtel connection...If we tried to contact customer care, its also paid service. Airtel is cheater...

                I had an airtel postpaid connection and i have converted my this postpaid connection into prepaid connection on 9.02.09.I submitted all document i.e license copy and passport size snap to the vendor and on 17.03.09 they close my connection without any notification.and when i approach to the customer care they said we call the confirmation call to you, due to not received our call we closed your connection but they are not called me this confirmation call or any other message as they say, sir i'm a businessman due to this i'm suffering lot of problems, also i recently recharged my number with Rs.555, therefore please activate my connection as soon as possible, i also give my documents again to the customer care. i shall be very thankful to you when you reactivate my connection as soon.

                  I hereby want to inform you about the worst customer service offered by Airtel which cannot be imagined at all...
                  I just got a simple problem regarding the VOIP port releasing. When ever i call the customer service i am getting different stories.

                  The worst service ever we have seen on this earth. Never responding legargic, lazy, however very keen in plans to cheat public by all technicques. We are situated 5 Kms away from coimbatore city keep on complaining to attend a broadband conectivety problem. It seems all the service engineers are dead. Ultimately our line is dead throughout the day. Okay regarding mobile service also they very clervly cheat and act most inefficiently and no one equals AIRTEL. I have a mobile connection for more than 6 years using the same number and now when i check it is in the name of other person and they keep on asking for my identity details. It is very clear their system has a grave problem then they should go to grave.

                  I have a prepaid connection with a balance of Rs. 83/- once i use it up i will throw away AIRTEL once for all. Meanwhile cursing my fate i submitted all the papers to AIRTEL office Ramanathpuram- Sundaram Buildings 10 days ago and all the staff there seems sleeping or lost my paper and again and agaian they ask thro SMS (STUPID MESSASING SYSTEM) ME to submit the papers other wise my number will get disconnected.

                  Is there any chance for AIRTEL to improve ----- to do some service for the money extracted????/

                      i am using airtel prepaid mobile no [protected] in charkhi dadri haryana
                      i have debited recharge of rupess 333 on march 5, 2009 at 7:54 pm
                      i am using airtel Monthly gprs service, according to this service balance of rupess 299 should be credited from account, but all my debit balance is credited
                      and after renew of my service i am unable to use this service
                      i asked from customer care about this they asked for some time now 11 days is passed but there is no good response from them
                      on march 8th a complaint(no. 386978) is also registed in company they said we will update your balance till march 12, but till now my balance is Rs. 0.16 and my service is also not renew
                      customer care said the amount is credited from my account is detail:-

                      March 07{ Rs. 3.60
                      Rs. 74.00
                      Rs. 67.00}
                      March 08{ Rs. 5.40
                      Rs. 1.80}
                      the detail is given by customer care the total of this is n't equal to the our previuos balance
                      now they are n't talking with us everytime they said that the system is n't okay
                      now 11 days is already pass
                      but my balance is now Rs 0.16 and my airtel monthly gprs service is also not renew

                        The airtel network services in this area are regularly absent /not available .Hence airtel cell phones are non-entities/non functional. Many a people have already changed over to other co's mobile phones, thus adversely affecting our communication.

                        AirTel — Pathetic Network!!!

                        I have like loads of friends and relatives in Bangalore... but it's such a hassle to contact the ones using Airtel!!! There's no network all though the day... By chance if I get through, be sure the phone will disconnect in some 47 seconds!!! And then they claim that they have unmatched network and all... I wonder why they don't take any action instead of repeated complaints from everyone I know and everyone they know!!!

                          The telecom service provider companies should ATLEAST enquire about the purpose of SUCH registrations, and what UNEASYNESS would it causes to the consumers, but unfortunately, all they care about is MAKING money... B***** CORPORATES...!!!

I called the number and it charged me about Rs. 9.50 per minute... They talked for about two minutes... The person said something in Hindi, that they couldn't pick up the call if i call them back now and asked to authenticate stuff (couldn't understand properly because of my bad Hindi understandability)...

                            Dear Sir, I have a Air Tel Postpaid Mobil connection bearing No [protected] since Jan 2009 but till date no any bill has been delivered by your company. I have sent so many sms on 121 for sending the bill but no any action has so far been taken by your firm. Only they sent reply by sms that bill has already been delivered on 11 Feb 09 which is not true. If I have not received the bill how can they said for delivering the bill. I also sent two times my mailing address to send the bill but no response. Ultimately yesterday(25 Feb 09) at evening your service provider has blocked the outgoing call on my mobile which is against the rules. When I am ready to pay the outstanding any amount how you blocked the outgoing call. My only request is to provide me outstanding printed bill on my mailing address and immediately take the amount by cash or by cheque . This is my earnest request to send the bill immediately by 27 Feb 09 otherwise I will take legal action against you how you dare to stop outgoing call facilities of my mobile . This is a warning .                               Until today, I thought Airtel must be giving value to the customer complaints and high value is given to Customer Centricity/ TAT and the other values that Airtel/ Bharti puts up in commercials. To my earlier mail dt: March 04 (attached below) explaining that the connection that is not working since Dec' 2008 and have had problems pertaining to frequent disconnection etc, I had received a call from an Assistant Manager, Retention Team, Noida thereby promising that the line would be working very soon(24 hrs), but nothing has been done in terms of getting the broadband cable changed/ replaced.

                              I am highly dissatisfied with the response and explaining the whole case every time I call up the Customer Care. The engineer comes in every time saying we need to change the cable and nothing is done there-after. I do not have any single point of contact or any updates regarding the same.


                              As the issue is from the Airtel side with not been able to get the broadband cable/ wire replaced, please disconnect it with immediate effect.

                              Please disconnect my Airtel Broadband connection Account No. 12589581, with the reasons being that my internet connection is not working from Jan 2009 (no dial tone/ no connection). I am highly dissatisfied with the service now as have raised the issue couple of times at the customer care.

                              Few caseID's : 16296850,[protected]. Same thing happened earlier also but was fixed temporarily. The person from Airtel taking care of the Sec-20, NOIDA, UP area updated in Jan that the underground cable is faulty due to water logging and it would take approx 10 days to resolve. Still the line is not working properly.

                              Please Disconnect my connection as I have other connections that are more reliable and at least working.

                                My cell number is [protected]. I am having postpaid CUG connection in the name of "Inoda Health Care". Till January 31st 2009, we were receiving SMS message stating the amount to paid for that particular number alone. So it was helpful for us to pay the bill. Now we are receiving message totalling the amount of all cell numbers. So we have to contact customer care to know about bill amount of that particular cell number alone. For February 12th bill, the same kind of message was received. Hence I contacted customer care and they told the amount to be paid for my number and the below mentioned number. For March 12th bill, I contacted Customer care again and they could not give the bill details of particular number alone. So it will be helpful for us to send the SMS message stating the amount to be paid for that particular number alone.                                     Dear Officer,

                                    This complaint is with regards to an unposted Bill amount at Bharti Airtel Limited.

                                    The bill payment was done by cash for an amount of Rs. 920/- on 29th November 2008 at the Airtel Marketing Pvt. Ltd at Koramangala 7th block, Bangalore at approximately 5.00 pm. Once the payment was done and I asked for a receipt, and they refused saying that I would get an SMS confirming the payment. I did get a message, but instead of confirming the payment, it said that the transaction id of '75891645' was not posted. I did not bother to go back immediately to check with them hoping that they would rectify it themselves and it was a temporary issue.

                                    But apparently, the amount was still not posted until the next due date, which is a month later around late December and I had been to the same outlet to pay my bill. They were going to charge me two months bill plus late payment charges of the previous month. I tried explaining to them that I had made a payment last month but did not get posted due to some problem from their end. Though they deducted the amount, it was after a lot of heated discussion and they behaved very rudely.

                                    A month later, some time in January, the problem was still not resolved. I have visited their outlet again, this time spoken to their manager. This time around, he gave me his personal phone number assuring me that the payment would be done, but in vain. Initially when I used to call him up to follow up on the issue, he would at least pretend to be interested in the problem and give me fake assurances. But eventually, when I would call he would claim he is busy in a meeting or out of station and eventually stopped picking my calls. When I would call from another number he would pick up and was so bugged with me that he used to actually refer to me as Rs.920.

                                    Following up with them is not the only trouble, I have also called up their Customer care department at least 5 times placed at least 4 complaints. The Customer care center have also given up saying that they have visited the outlet, but the outlet have denied that a payment was done at their outlet and asked me again to go check with them.

                                    And that’s not all, I would also get at least 3 calls a week for the past 4 months from the collections department asking me when I would pay the due amount. And each time I would have to start explaining the problem from scratch which is a time consuming factor. Nobody in the collections department would bother to go through all the complaints that I had registered with them. I cannot start to explain the trouble and the irritation that I have gone through in the past 4 months due to this payment not being posted.

                                    I just got married 10 days ago. The day before the wedding was also not spared of the trouble these people can cause. They have barred service on my phone and this is not the first time they are doing it. In the midst of all the preparations this problem would be the last you would want to deal with and not having a phone with you can be really crippling. Giving them a call, explaining all of this to them again was the last thing I wanted to do that day, but was forced to do it, thanks to their Robust-insensitive-dumb collections department.

                                    Mind you, I have not spoken a single foul word or abused them whenever I was talking to someone at the outlet or the customer care center. I am good paying customer and was happy with their service for the past 5 years, until now. I am really disappointed with their methodology of working and their insensitivity towards the issue. For me Rs. 920 is not a big amount, and can pay the amount again, which I did because I was fed up with all the rude collection calls who treat me like am stealing service for free, talking about the same problem over and over again to different people at the service center and following up with the manager at the outlet. I did try coping with all of this for the past 4 months hoping the issue would get resolved, but in vain.

                                    However, before making the payment I gave a call to the Manager from the Airtel Outlet once from my phone, which as expected he did not pick. And then from another number which he did pick. I told him who I was and like reflex he referred to me as Rs. 920. Even more annoyed, I told him that I was fed up with this entire issue. I will pay the amount not because I give up, but because I need my peace of mind from all the phone calls, and that I am going to register a complaint against them in the Consumer Forum.

                                    So here I am, asking for justice. I hope all of the above explains the problem that I am facing. Request you to please look into the above matter, get the payment posted and that I get the additional bill payment and the late payment charges that I have done for my account.

                                    we have corporate connection for all our employees and we had made the payment on 10th october 2008 at the Jayanagar outlet and they have not posted the payment and we are getting continuously we are getting harrased calls and messages from the Airtel. we have even given complaint and produced the documents pertaining to the payment to customer service and to the nodal officer. they had promised the issue will be sorted out even today on 21st october 2008 also we got annoying messages from Airtel and they have given the amount raised everyday


                                    please someone take care of this issue or we should refer to the customer greivience.

                                    Hello,

                                    I have made payment in cheque for July 08 Month Mobile bill in 13th August 08. The amount has been debited from our account to Bharathi Ltd. But Till date this is not reflected in my statement and Airtel has been charging me huge amount as late payment fees and besides this many days phone connection was disconnected. I have faced great in inconvenience due to disconnection and it has huge impact on my work and Business. I am Black berry customer and due to disconection there is no reliabilty on this service.

                                    I need Airtel to immediately reflect the amount in to my account and revert back all late payment collected and also the monthly charges needs to be waived off for the days my phone was disconnected. Compensate the loss in T&M I had to followup the customer care

                                      We purchased Airtel Data Card in your Agency Show Room X-Squire Communications (P) Ltd. #14, Second Line Beach, Parrys, Chennai - 600 001. on 26.02.09 vide Receipt No. 10361 For Rs. 2999/- (Two Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninty Nine Rupees Only) in the name of Seair Shipping Services

                                      For your kind information we have 4 CUG Connection also and the number is[protected] & so on. I have taken this connection from the year 2000 by paying Rs.3000/- Security Deposit. The Same has not been refunded or recredited to me so far.

                                      We have been running this company for the past 10 years and so far we have taken Car, Housing & Official Loans from several banks who were willing to give us more and more Loans seeing our prompt payment and our transactions.

                                      To be more specific we have no single cheque bounce in our transactions which we have in Bank of India for several years.

                                      At this stage We are putting up this complaint.

                                      The above data card which we purchased for laptop is not working and we receive a message statting that " No Service" .

                                      When I contacted the show room which I purchased & Airtel Customer Care they said that the verification person who came to my office stated that our company is on "Low Profile".

                                      We clearly put up the complaint that the person who came to our office for verification has give a wrong statement which we could not digest.

                                      We request you to send the same person again to our office and give us explanation for the statement he has feeded in your system.

                                      We are not satisfied with your service.

                                      We are waiting for respond to this complaint from your part as early as possible.

                                      airtel data card — Not working.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I purchased one data card from Air Tel on 7th of January 2009 and it worked well 1 month after that I changed rental plan to unlimited one. After changing to this plan, data card speed drasticallly reduced and finally not connecting to Net. I registeered no. of requests and all gone to vain. From last one month I am struggling a lot and no responce from Air Tel side. During this period I also lost my great carrier oppurtunity i.e my Post doctoral studies and mentally tortured and wasted my time by taking to customer care people.
                                      Please suggest me what I have to do under these circumstances.
