    Hello,
This is regarding my mobile number [protected]. I had visited the Airtel customer

service desk on 19th December regarding my SMS monthly charges. I have the SMS

along with my monthly rental plan. But Apart from this, they are charging me Rs.

30 more every month from past 2 yrs for another SMS plan. This i didnt even opt

    for it.

When i had visited the customer service department in Person on Dec 19th. I spoke

to a girl called Asha. She told me that it will be adjusted in my next month's

bill. That was the 3rd time i had been to the Cutomer service department in Person

and complained about the issue. Inspite of all these, they are still charging me

    Rs 30 every single month.

As per the update on that day, she told me that Rs 500 will be adjusted in the

bill for January. as they cannot reverse the entire amount in one shot and the

Maximum they can do is Rs 500.

I got the bill for January and now for February month and to my shock, there are

no adjustment being made. Also I have been charged Rs. 30 more again for the “100

local sms Free then 50p Rent rs. 30.”

The total amount till Dec that had to be Reversed as discussed with asha was 660.

Now including jan and Feb, the total amount is Rs.720.

She also mentioned that she sent a mail to particular team to adjust the amount.

And i can send a mail to her next month to reverse the remaining amount. I have

already visited 3 times to the Customer Service Desk in Bannerghatta Road. And I

have been listening to the same thing everytime.

Please take an action immediately. I cannot wait for her to reverse the fee.

Instead please give me my money back in cash/cheque. Also deactivated the SMS

    plan.

Everytime I go there, they say that they have deactivated and then it appears in

    the bill.
I am paying for this pack, which I haven’t requested and this plan doesn’t exist

    with my Corporate connection.

I want this issue to be resolved immediately. Request you to help me with this.

I have a series of complaints about Airtel and my miseries do not seem to be ending. I still regret the date (19th Jan 2009) when I called Airtel regarding NDNC.

      Following are my complaints.

      1. SIM gets de-activated when I call to complain for unwanted calls despite being registered for NDNC service: I am an Airtel mobile service subscriber with the captioned mobile number. On 19th of January 2009, I called up Airtel Customer Care (121) to register my complaint regarding unwanted calls (as I was registered for NDNC, National Do Not Call services) on my mobile and within 30 minutes (circa) my SIM got deactivated. It was on 19th Jan 2009 at around 7:30 PM. When I called up Customer Care (from my Friend’s mobile) on 20th Jan and enquired why my phone was ‘not working’, I was told that everything was fine at ‘my end’ and I should get my phone checked. I called again and this time I was told that my SIM might have got corrupt and I should get it changed/checked from the nearest Airtel office. I registered a complaint stating that my phone isn’t working (must be there in your logs).

      2. Airtel Office in DLF Galleria market, Gurgaon asks for money to change my SIM
On 21st Jan (at about 6:00 PM, after my office) I went to Airtel DLF Galleria office and narrated my complaint but I was told that someone has put in a request to ‘deactivate’ my SIM. Believe me, I would never intend to put a request to deactivate my SIM given that I am steady user of this number since last 5-6 years. They agreed to give me a new SIM with a payment of rupees 100/- (an unwanted penalty and harassment because of no fault of mine). I was promised that my SIM would get activated within 4 hours; the promise was kept and my phone indeed got activated. But the story doesn’t end here…

On 9th Feb 2009, I got an SMS stating that my Airtel mobile bill had been generated and the monthly invoice was rupees 3558.9
I called Airtel customer care immediately but to know that servers are ‘down’ (circa 4:30 PM on 9th Feb 2009) and the executive promised to organize a return call to me ‘within 2 hours’. I could obviously not trust Airtel by then, so I called up myself after 2 hours. I was told that my bill was more than three thousand (and I was shocked to know this since my bill has never crossed rupees 1500 since inception) because I was on roaming in Mumbai on 21st!!!

A person who still regrets having to complaint about frivolous calls despite NDNC registration and who was not in touch with the world for two days (from 19th to 21st Jan, 10:00PM) was ‘roaming’ in Mumbai…(I am dead sure that circling Airtel offices cannot be regarded as pleasant roaming in Mumbai, which is what I was doing between 19th and 21st Jan).

The snapshot of the itemised bill is like this:

      1. 20:16 Airtel Mumbai to[protected]:30:00 330.00
      2. 20:17 Airtel Mumbai to[protected]:30:00 330.00
      3. 20:20 Airtel Mumbai to[protected]:30:00 330.00
      4. 20:21 Airtel Mumbai to[protected]:30:00 330.00
      5. 20:25 Airtel Mumbai to[protected]:26:38 297.00
      6. 20:27 Airtel Mumbai to[protected]:24:29 275.00

Every couple of minutes I have been charged for 30 minute call to single number. How can a person make 3 hrs call in 30 minutes??? Even if someone try to put conferencing logic, why would he conference same number for 5 times??? The bigger question is how will he make a call when his phone is NOT working and the complaint is duly registered!!! Also, do a credibility check on me and my account for last 5 years!!!

It exposes a big fraud where Airtel levies false charges on the customer to make money. I would not have checked it if this would have been a single call!!

The logs of my frequent complaints and calls are clearly reflecting in the Airtel records.

Airtel guys ultimately resolved the issue amicably. I had to send an email to Airtel's CEO :)
      sir,
i have been a subsciber of your network from the past 3 years and sorry to say but your consumer services are not friendly rather quite haraasing .sir i am facing a problem regarding false charges from the last ten days ..and i registerd my complaint twice in the very same matter and its very shamefull on a franchise that much huge in size that there dealing authorities are very rude and not worth satisfing the consumer problems .. sir earlier on 27 sep 2009 i called up on your helpline and talked to the consumer executive senior and he told me to go for a new network and was very rude.and last night i called the consumer services again and it was very emberrasing as he used cocky language and asked me to "go and sleep and let him sleep too" and got my number barred for further calling on your helpline
.Sir things like that lowers the moral of the consumer .
mailing u sir i expect a early action as it is very humiliating
rather i wont hav any option else than consumer court

        Dear Sir,

Prior to the previous complaint the following are the mails those are forwarded to bharti airtel limted, Both of the following mails are about my new outlet at vanastalipuram, for which they force me intentionally to put a mail of resignation as a channel partner after 15days of the inauguration of the ARC, for which i have invested lacks of rupees on arc named Surya Mahi Communications. It also clearly shows and given the information that i have invested on both showrooms at habsiguda and vanastalipuram.

        The mails are as follows:

THE FOLLOWING IS THE FIRST MAIL TO THEM, FOR WHICH THEY HAVEN'T GIVEN THE PROPER REPLY AND FORCED ME TO PUT THE SECOND WHICH STATES THE RESIGNATION

        Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your notice that the kind of investment happened at suryamahi from January 2007 to till March 2008. I have attached an excel sheet which has got all the information of the investment done by me in one year to create and maintain the presence of ARC at vanastalipuram with nil ROI, I even regret myself about this I never discussed with you. I also mentioned the details of the investment in new ARC.

The total cost incurred by me is Rs: 26, 84, 030.00 in the span of one year for the ARC. I hereby making a humble request to support me to get the refunds, which I supposed to get and also please extend your co-operation to get breakup on my investment. Kindly look into the attachment with clear comments.

Apart of this I have invested Rs: 9, 00, 000.00 on air conditioners at Capricorn, which supposed to be Rs: 5, 00, 000.00 (when you said Capricorn has to be finished in one month). As I didn’t get the permission to install outdoor units of ac’s from my landlord, I had to go with vrv module of ac, which really hiked the investment to 9lakhs. My rent was Rs: 6, 500/- before the renovation, you know very much sir for the purpose of renovation we have taken neighbor space 5months back and I started paying rent of Rs: 30, 000/- from the past 5 months, ARC not yet finished because of new problem which is road widening. I can say the total 2 arc’s investment put together is approximately gone to Rs: 37, 35, 000.00. Kindly understand my situation and extend your co-operation to prove myself as a healthy channel partner.

        Awaiting for your positive reply

        Thanking you sir,

        With Regards,

        Srikanth Shalivahana.
        CHANNEL PARTNER- CAPRICORN & SURYAMAHI.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE SECOND MAIL TO THEM WITH THE INFORMATION OF RESIGNATION (THEY FORCED ME TO MENTION THAT) FOR WHICH ALSO THERE IS NO PROPER REPLY AND EXACTLY FEW MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THIS MAIL THEY INTENTIONALLY FORCED ME TO RESIGN FROM HABSIGUDA LOCATION, THE REASON THEY IS FOR THE RESIGNATION OF HABSIGUDA OUT LET IS"IT IS BECAUSE OF THESE TWO MAILS WHICH I SENT TO THEM, FOR WHICH THEY TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND DECIDED TO SACK ME OUT AS A CHANNEL PARTNER"
BECAUSE OF THIS MAIL, THEY HAVE TAKEN ME VERY SERIOUSLY AND FORCED ME TO RESIGN AS CHANNEL PARTNER AFTER INVESTING HUGE AMOUNTS.

        Dear Sir or Madam:

As per the previous mail sent, the kind of investment done at suryamahi communications from the past one year without ROI is really affecting our financial status of both ARCs o[censored]s. We haven’t received any kind of feedback and support from the company on this. So, we hereby decided to resign as a channel partner of suryamahi communications. We are really glad and thankful to you, if you could refund us the deposits and the other kind of total expenditure incurred at suryamahi. We are sorry to say that we literally lost 26 lakhs in the process of maintaining suryamahi at vanastalipuram, which is really affecting our 7years old ARC at habsiguda, which we never expected.

The funds we have invested on suryamahi are those that we kept aside to support Capricorn that is why there were hardly cheque returns for one year till we have taken second ARC. Again the same is repeating recently from the past 3 months because we have poured the funds worth 13 lakhs with out getting single rupee to create the presence of ARC at vanastalipuram till December 2007, we lost our valuable money that would support to run two ARCs in a healthy way. If the same kind of money had been invested on Capricorn to support the financial discipline, Capricorn (even suryamahi) would be in best place by this time in all parameters.

So, at least in the process of supporting and avoid the financial imbalance of Capricorn, we hereby requesting you to cancel suryamahi agreement between us. If you look at the previous months commissions of suryamahi, it is highly impossible to pay 7 floor executives salaries (40, 000 approx), to pay the FOS salaries (75, 000 approx), rent 43, 460, power bill 20, 000, and csrb salaries 10, 000, security salary 13, 000, which we have been maintaining from the past one year.

We would like to get rid of cheque bounces happening because of the so many unexpected situations happened to Capricorn in the previous years, We even have reports which led us to financial imbalance for eg: 1. icici charged denomination charges for two and half years average 12, 000per month to the customer’s money which is deposited on behalf of Bharthi. 2. Amex credit card payments where we got the cheques on the name of Bharti instead of Capricorn that are given in finance dept. 3. The mistake of the Bharti assigned interior, which led us to invest 6 laks again on Capricorn because of the electrical disturbances. 4. Because of these all the penalties that we have paid so far etc. All these incidents brought to your notice long back but no one is helpful.

When situations like above-mentioned are simply bothering me and sometimes led to cheque bounces where I have been paying penalties for the same. As of today no one looked into it and understands my struggle being a channel partner. All these days whatever the penalties I have paid may not be because of my mistakes, it may be because of the incidents like shock circuits, denomination charges and Amex credit card cheques on the name of Bharti. Finally we have to sell some of our fixed assets, taken bank loans to clear all the dues. When cheque returns we can hear so many voices in different ways, but no one talked about my actual problem sir.

We never failure to give the best sales and service to our customers, for that matter we have consistent successful records and awards in this regard and it would be for ever. When we are proving our self as a best channel partner in sales, service and team building, why can’t we be the same in financial discipline, we are going to prove our self in all the ways.

Finally we request you once again to cancel the agreement of suryamahi and refund the backup funds of Capricorn, which we have invested on suryamahi. Now no one speaks about why you have given a second ARC to me. Please clear all my issues and please please refund my money where I can run Capricorn in a good phase. Please understand if we get that amount, why we would face the financial problems. Let us give a chak to cheque returns. Kindly do the needful.

        Thanks and Regards,
        Srikanth Shalivahana.

          Resolved

          Dear Sir,

I am one of the leading channel partner of Bharti Airtel ltd, and recently lost everything and become insolvent because of the false promises made by Bharti Airtel Ltd. The following is the mail which i supposed to put to ceo of bharti, but the employees mentioned below threatened me for not forwarding that. They forced me to resign as channel partner after they made me to invest lakes of rupees on the existing show room renovation at habsiguda and new showroom at vanastalipuram. Kindly read the following details and do the justice to our family. The mail is recently been sent to him and it is as follows. I have all the details of the case with me sir.

          Respected Sir,

Further to my mail to Mr.Sanjeev Jamba (ZM), Vijaylaxmi (CSD Head), Vardha (TM), Vijay Mahesh (CSM) of Hyderabad circle. Dated: I hereby request your kind look in to my problem, which is creating mental agony not only to me but also to my entire family. I have never seen rather expected this kind of treatment to me who is associated with your organization from last 8 years with your esteemed organization rather I would say as my own organization. Request you to kindly spare your valuable time for me in understanding the kind of problems I underwent from last 1 year.

          1. Sir, I was told that I have committed mistake in raising my voice & sending a mail informing my grievance 3 months back with a good intention of bringing my issue (Financial) to above most of the people referred above. I am under impression that our company policies are very transparent as it is with employees but now i am not in a position to accept after so many interactions with some people.

          2. Sir, so far I have invested 37 lacs as enclosed in the attached file and has not received any benefit against my investment rather i am constantly receiving threats of removing my dealership. Sir, you can imagine the pressure the people have passed to me & to my family that I got hospitalized 3times in last 6 months including my father since we are unable to bear the kind of discussion I had with Mr. Vijay Mahesh. I am not like to refer one person here, but there are some group of people including Mr.Vardha who is supposed to help me but rather made me to run in to severe losses. I would like to mention the following information for your kind perusal:

          • I have approached Mr.Vardha, Vijay Mahesh, & Mr.Jamba in the year 2006 December requesting to allot Vanasthalipuram franchisee as to expand my business which was running very successful till then.
          • Following which I was asked to start the business informally by accepting CSRB data by recruiting 2 executives with a salary of 5000 per months, which I have done immediately. This was told by Mr.Vijay Mahesh.
          • Later 2 months, I was called and informed by Vijay Mahesh that I will not be getting dealership and assured that expenditure would be refunded.
          • After 3 weeks of silence again I was called by Vijay Mahesh & Jamba and confirmed that dealership will be given to me at any cost and was asked to look for a location immediately.
          • Thrilled by this I started searching day & night for right premises for about 2 months (considering the day of first information of CSRB allotment)
          • Since the building is under construction and builder also confirmed that position would be handed over in next 4 months, I was asked to take make shift premises for this period which I have done with in 2 hrs along with manpower recruitment. By recruiting 8 executives.
          • I was also told to maintain 2 computers along with investment on VPN expenditure.
          • The major expenditure, which was incurred by me in this project at starting stage, was payment of advance of Rs.15 lacks to builder, which was discussed with Vardha, Vijay Mahesh personally. I was promised that this amount would be paid as per CLDO basis. Since there was no revert from these people I have paid Rs.1, 11000/- as a token amount in front of Vijay Mahesh as I was under terrible pressure from builder Mr. Kompali Ramu (mention owners mobile num). I was told this amount would be returned by builder as Vijay & vardha promised that they would be releasing 5 lacks as first phase of payment.
          • Nothing was getting finalized and I was under sever pressure from the builder to pay the balance amount, I was forced to pay 5 lacks totally with assurance from these people that I would be reimbursed soon.
          • There was no revert from company for a period of 3 months. As it was delayed, owner has made some changes in amendments since he has not taken any loan expecting 15 lacks from me as informed in the starting. The change is increase of Rent from 25, 000 to 43, 360/- with delay of handover of premises.
          • I was also promised on the day beginning of discussion that I will be given login id access including POS, Central AOL to kick start sales & bill collection. Even this was not happened till December 2007 (was given AOL access), which resulted in severe financial loss, as my entire plan of starting business is to gain extra sales apart from habsiguda ARC that will suffice my additional expenditure incurring in this project.
          • All these days I was paying rent for make shift office of Rs.3000/- per month & also for the new premises of Rs.43, 360/- + salary for 12 employees + electricity & maintenance charges.
          • Further to above issues, the other major setback to me was miscommunication on laying Electricity supply. Initially when builder came to me asking for power consumption load, I was told by Vijay Mahesh & Interior decorator that 10KV will be sufficient and when the work was about to finish, I was informed that we would be requiring 28KV due to which the entire plan got overturned and I was slapped with the difference cost of 2 lacks for transformer & 6000/- for 25MM cable. I have paid all these charges from my own pocket without getting any financial assistance from company.
          • Further to above wounds, I was asked to expand existing ARC-Habsiguda without considering my feedback of not and they have gone ahead & made me to expand the showroom where again I underwent with huge expenditure of another Rs.9, 00, 000/- for change of AC system due to unavailability of outdoor unit space. This was decided after series of trials from different AC company technicians drawn from LG, SAMSUNG, and ONIDA. Finally I was confirmed on the availability of new technology AC that was from O-General AC Company. This new technology AC is called as VRV module. Entire discussion on this was updated on time to time to Vijay Mahesh, Vardha & Vijaylaxmi Swami Nathan.
          • All these expenditures forced me to bounce my POS cheques, as I was unable to manage funds. I will accept this as failure morally but there was no scope or chance left to me. No one in the company came to my rescue till date even after witnessing so much disaster happening to me.
          • I was also unable to manage Surya Mahi store due to all these financial commitments thus where these people started blackmailing me or rather discouraging me to discontinue my business at vanasthalipuram and forced me to accept resignation of Surya Mahi and also to accept at minimum rate of 8 lacks and threatened to cancel even “CAPRICORN” if not agreed. Left with no choice, I have agreed & sold to Mr.Jatan of Nutech.

Dear Sir, Based on my above given information/facts you should have understood the situation my family & I underwent. There was severe personal vendetta towards me from so many people with no reason.

The only reason I was cornered is only because of:
          1. I was channel partner for last 8 years?
          2. Doing Maximum sales and standing NO1, 2 positions in sales?
          3. Awarded with so many awards like BEST ARC, BEST TEAM consistently?
          4. Accepting the whatsoever direct from sales head, CSD head without any hesitation and incurring so much expenditure?
          5. Knowingly not raising voice against Center manager who has indulged in extra marital affairs with my lady staff, settlements with customers whose accounts are deactivated with help of CSRB executives. Once upon a time he also manhandled customers and thrashed him very badly where I came to customer rescue and ensured with my contacts that there is no legal threat to him.
          6. Hearing all non-sense statements/comments from Mr. Vijay Mahesh like “you are unfit, not financial sound partner. Who knows that I was compelled to sell my land in native village, sold Gold of my mother, wife and my KID too. Even my dad pension was diverted to loans for what I have taken for clearing of these dues without having any help from this people.

Henceforth, request you to give me ONE chance to meet you. I became “NOTHING FROM EVERYTHIING”. Request, beg you to understand my current position where i am having sleep ness nights. It is in your hands to make me alive and show me “Way of life & hope to survive”. Currently if you ask me as how i am, I will in turn will ask you to ask this question to my wife who will see my tears………………………&he...

Finally the arc has allotted to somebody with out my formal resignation for their personal benefits…Now we have nothing, no shelter, no food, no livelihood and become insolvent to all my creditors and banks with no dues to Bharti Airtel Ltd., We don’t know where we are, we have left everything there and hiding our heads to protect our self from the creditors and roaming around with hungry stomachs

THANKING YOU & AWAITING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT,

          Regards,

            Resolved

            Sir/Ma'm,
I want to draw your attention towards the series of mails as under which I have been exchanging like a game of TT for a refund of some 1800/- against the surrender of my postpaid mobile connection in Kanpur, UP in the month of Feb 2008.
Its almost one year, I have not got the refund and most agonizing is the false committments I have been getting from Bharti Airtel on the issue as may be seen in the mails below.

This was not expected from a company like Bharti Airtel and I would like you to get the issue resolved and help me out...

            Thanx

            Bimal Kumar

                Hi,

I migrated my airtel broadband plan from 499 to 777/-, then later I asked to migrated back to 499/-.
As per my opinion, bill should be around 800/-. But it reached to 1946/-.
I send so many mail to customer and nodal officer, but no response on this query.
I got so many calls from Airtel with issue, which I didnt ask.

Dont knwo, how it will be resolved ?

                Complaint marked as Resolved
                Hello Sir / Madam,

                Airtel broadband connection # :[protected]
                Airtel Account # : 14291938
Address: D-232, Ground Floor, Sarvodaya Enclave, New Delhi - 110017.

I have a connection of airtel broadband from November 2008 and took 555 combo plan of airtel.
On my very first bill, amount was Rs.1273 from the period of Nov 12th - Nov 17th...
As a customer i was never told of my billing cycle and that the bill will be on pro-rata basis...
I called up airtel and got it sorted and it took me a month to get a resolution after myself calling airtel to collect the payment repeated number of times...

Each time the executives said they'll look into it and get the amount waived. I wasn't reassured though..I called up the customer care again after a couple of days and asked them the status of my previous complaint. The reply I got was that a mail has been forwarded to the requisite department and they're looking into it. I asked them to please call me up about the status of the complaint whenever there's an update.
I did not get any calls in the next 3-4 days. So I called the customer care again, and told them that I'm fed up and that I will only pay my normal monthly bill of Rs 785 and nothing extra. The person at the other end offered his apologies and said he'l surely get the amount waived and get me unsubscribed from the stupid service. Meanwhile, waiting for their call, the bill due date went off.and I got a call from the airtel billing department asking me to pay the bill. I told them that you first get my complaint resolved and then I'; pay the bill. he said.."sir, you at least pay your normal monthly bill. I'l definitely get the extra amount waived off in the next bill".

The bill for the month of Dec 2008 came as current charges of Rs.363.84 and a total of Rs.449.00... Reassured, i made the payment for that month...But that was not the end.

To my biggest shock the 3rd bill that i recieved in the month of January 2009 was for Rs. 7, 904.95.

On aksing for explanation, i was told that my internet usage was very high..on checking the statement i was also biiled for the times when i was not home...
My husband who has suffered from a massive Brain Haemmorhage and he cannot even use the internet as he was hospitalised and had vitereoues haemmorhage and was not able to see from both eyes.

I know that I have not used the same and airtel is demanding wrong money from me.

In that whole unpleasant experience of hospitals, i had to face this challenge with spending hours on airtel customer service departments, having being transeferrd from one deptt. to another and getting calls disconnected every now and then, telling the same whole story to different executives, asking for disconnection immediately but getting to hear a NO always... And on top of it, getting calls back (which was once or twice) by airtel executives and being spoken to me very rudely and getting harrassed by them.

As a regular customer of airtel, i don't think that i deserve all this at any cost, NO MATTER WHAT...

On 24th Of january 2009, i finally requested my connection to be disconnected and to resolve the issue, but till date no resolution has been given and neither has the connection been disconnected.

Can you please look into the matter. and get the bill corrected.

                Thanking you in anticipation..

                Warm regards,

                Harpreeet K. Chaudhry

                  Hi,

I would like to complaint regarding the policies change at airtel. I had applied for a airtel boradband connection and had taken the plan of 384 kbps with unlimited downloads. Just a few days back the policies have changed stating

As per forum sources, the limit on their unlimited plans are as under:

                    Hi,

                    My problems are following:

1] I was promised the following post paid numbers : [protected]/127.

2] These numbers were promised to me in the Airtel Campus promotion held at our company Mphasis an EDS Company.

3] Commitments were made by representatives Prabhu [Cell number : [protected]] & Vaibhav [Cell number : [protected]].

4] There were some internal conflicts between Prabhu and Vaibhav. Vaibhav took documents form me.

5] Without my consent they assigned 2 very different numbers against what was promised.

6] Those two number were also ACTIVATED without informing me. I did not accept the Sim card. And are still with Airtel employees.

7] I escalated to Ashu Agarwal [Airtel's Sales Manager] [Cell Number :[protected]].

8] He instead assured me that he would get those numbers corrected and instead would be providing me the following numbers :[protected]/62

9] When i received discouraging response from Ashu i escalated to Nodal Officer Abha Gupta at : Nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in, also tried calling on the number provided at Airtel web site : [protected].

10] I had also sent multiple SMS on the same number of Abha Gupta, because the number is most of the time unreachable. No response received to the SMS / E-mails. It has been more the 14 days. In Airtel web site response time promised was within 10 days.

11] On 23rd of Jan i get Vaidank "Nodal office", on the same number of Abha Gupta. On his request i send the escalation e-mail again to the same e-mail address
                    Nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in.

12] . Therefore, on 23rd Jan 09 i called Airtel 121 services [[protected]] representative "Somaya" that both the numbers as confirmed by Ashu Agarwal " Airtel Sales Manager" which were active on my name " [protected]/90] were activated on 25th Dec, and are NOT under my name {Kamlesh Jaiswal}. Instead they are under the name of Zaheer Khan. Whom i do not know

13] I get the post paid bill on 28th Jan. And the numbers on the bill are : [protected]/[protected].
                    [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected] -----
Kindly look into this. My contact number : [protected]. Anytime Mon to Fri between evening 4 to 10 pm
                    Sat-sun anytime.

                    Hi,

I have taken a new SIM card for my wife from Airtel. After using it for 2 weeks, I got a call from Airtel stating that the documents have not been correct and hence they de-activated the SIM card. I resubmitted the documents again and ensured that they activate the SIM within 24 hrs of promised time.

They did activate the SIM card, but however after few days, the SIM was de-registered from the network. The reason being that the documents are not available with Airtel and within a month of purchase if the documents are not submitted, they recycle the SIM Card without informing the consumer. However, 1 month duration is still not over, and they recycled the SIM card and also ate 222 worth of recharge I did on my new SIM card.

Can someone help me to know what can I do to get a justice from these folks?

                    Thanks,
                    Anees.

I had a post paid connection no. [protected]. I made request to Airtel to close the connection after making full and final payment vide receipt no. 2297496 dated 22.11.2008. The Airtel representative (Mr Pintu - [protected]) who came to collect the payment has given me in writing "Yeh number band kar diya hai". However I am still getting bill from Airtel to make payment against the above connection. I have been speaking to customer care executives in Airtel who have been confirming to me that the mobile connection no. [protected] is being closed and no more bills will be sent to me.

Kindly look into the matter and once again I request you to close the connection no. [protected]

I have taken Airtel prepaid number [protected] from a shop in Sowcarpet area of Chennai from where my number was activated. After few days I got a message from Airtel that I have not submitted my documents so I should do that at the earliest to avoid disconnection.

After receipt of the message and speaking to customer care executive about the same I resubmitted the documents at Winner Telecom, Phase I, F 31 A, Spencer Plaza, 769 Anna Salai Chennai-02. on 31/01/2009 along with my identity proof in the form of Copy of Passport having Delhi address and Copy of Running Bank Account Statement issued by Andhra Bank(A Nationalized bank) with form and Self Attested photograph as required by Airtel. The form number for the same is 3923142.

After that again I got a message from Airtel that you have not submitted your document so submit that to avoid disconnection on 09.02.2009.Thereafter my outgoing call was disabled without even informing me.

On 9th of February I personally went to the Airtel shop at spencer plaza to inquire that why they have not submitted my documents and I was told that since Running Bank account statement can not be taken as proof of address so it has returned from there.

Now following things need to be clarified for me :

1.If in the list of documents required to be submitted at the time of taking connection Running Bank account Statement is shown as sufficient for address proof then how can same be rejected as inadequate documents.

2.Why the number is activated at all without taking proper documents from the customers.

3.Do the customer have right to claim refund of all the losses that is accruing to him due to negligence or inadequate knowledge of either vendor selling the product of Airtel or its own shops?

4.Why the Winner Telecom where the documents was submitted is not willing to return the rejected papers.

                        5. How the outgoing calls can be stopped without intimating the customers.

I hope that I would be given reasonable answer for all the above points that I have raised failing which I have other options open.

First of all I want to communicate to everyone: DO NOT GO FOR NEW AIRTEL CONNECTION IF YOU REALLY THINKING ABOUT IT...

I had purchased one new SIM from Mobile Store, Sonari, Jamshedpur on 11th Feb'2009. All documents after consultation with AIRTEL officials related to new connection was submitted for activation like Voter ID card, Address Proof, 02 Nos. of pass port size photograph. For address proof I had submitted xerox copy, which was issued from my company in its letter head and duly signed by our HR head. The company where I am working is renowned internationally.

The next day from the AIRTEL office there was a call for submitting the original copy;they will not accept the xerox copy, inspite of verification done with the orginal by their representative the previous day and accepted for submission of xerox copy.

                          Now my question is:
                          1. When verification with the original is done and verified, What is the use of the Original? If still in doubt they can visit to the said address and verify the authenticity or contact my company?

                          2. Is it correct to harrass the customer, where most of them are busy and find less time for other purpose?

                          3. When most of the mobile service provider are accepting the xerox copy after verification with original why not AIRTEL?

Looking at this I immediately discard the SIM and asked the officials of AIRTEL to return my document and opted for other service provider who gladly accepted the xerox copy and activated the SIM - To everyone surprise it is a Goverment sector service provider whose rules and regulation is more stringent compared to other private owned service provider.

This is very bad from the part of AIRTEL. If this is the way of dealing with the customer then I will definetly put up this case study in my company for it to rethink about taking corporate connection. We were in the final stage of giving official order for corporate connection.
Dont hesitate put up the case in Consumer Forum and tell them about your harrassment...

There has been constant violation by Airtel postpaid marketing (mostly originating from Bannerghatta Airtel office) on my Airtel prepaid connection [protected].

I have filed a complaint to [protected]@airtelindia.com, on 20th Jan but still the situation has not changed. They do not have right to keep on advertising postpaid connections to all prepaid connections registered for DNDC. This is a case of harassment and violation of DNDC

This is ridiculous to receive sms and calls from the airtel customer care executives asking you for friendship...how cheap is that. But it looks that airtel has no respect or responsibility towards their customers' personal information.

I am a 27 years old married woman, called up customer care for some information regarding the recharge options. Three hours later(1:00AM) i receive and sms from the same customer care executive, asking for friendship...This has happened to me the second time. First time i assumed that may be it is one person's ill mentality, so why to blame the entire company for that...but after experiencing the same thing after fours years again in a different city of India, I am bound to think that its a very common and favorite practice in AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE CENTRES...very sad...there is one set of people who always fight for women empowerment in India and here is another set of people who can never rise above the mal-practice of women sexual harassment!!

Is there a single airtel representative who can expain this???

I am bound to share this experience with as many people as I can and specially with all the females whom i know to save them from this harassing experience and ask them to stop using Airtel Services...
