I have recived the current bill I compared the bill with the previous bill and suprisingly I found that there was an ISD charge on my bill.
First of all I have never asked for activation of ISD fecility and I have never made any isd from my phone and I am being charged with the ISD call charge .
You need to check your conection and your network and how can you cheat people by charging wrong bill amount .
I want the bill to be checked througly by your seniors and I am not liable for the misuse made by my phone number.
I want all unnesesary charges that has been bill to be waived off and make sure this thing should not repeat in future

Yes.. Even in my add-on connection (used by my wife) had the same problem. And, without knowing this we were making the payments promptly. Later realized by looking at the itemized bill reading and found such fake charges being charged. I got upset and it made a big rift in personal life and I did not expect this from AIRTEL, which I generally recommend to others.

Later I did not find any help from AIRTEL in this regard and my wife said that she had thrown away the SIM. Then, I went on to cancel the connection.

I have not yet waived off from the extra charges (which they claim as valid from their IT dept.). I have lost thousands of rupees paid to AIRTEL which are fake to us. I feel AIRTEL is not trust worthy.

I am Pankaj Kumar Kaushik and my nnumber [protected] working for Sun pharmaceuticals as a Field Sales Manager, wherein i ge calls from doctors and patients for medicine orders. If i could not receive the call i need to call them back thats my work.

I am a honest and sincere customer of airtel from 2004 till date i had no complaints but now on May 2011 i received a call from [protected] please check the bill as on date 28-MAy-2011 bill dated 3-Jun-2011 and bll date3-Jun-2011 bill dated 3-Jul 2011 it says ILD call but I had not given any request to activate my ILD. Why is it actvated without my consent?

I had a missed call on my number as per my work i tried the number back but i had a doubt on the series but I was sure that ILD is not active on my number. Hence I called and they said they are calling from airtel mobile company and as I am paying bills regularly and a very old customer and recognized as a premium customer and want to give a gift from the company hence decided to give a samsung galaxy mobile with airtel postpaid connection free of cost only thng is they need proof of address and spouse photograph for which i agreed.

Now Firstly why my ILD is activated without my consent?
IF so you can check my bills previously there is no ILD calls charged in any of my bills for years.

Secondly Why is such rubbish calls from company side. Is to make bills higher?

Finally I paid the bill because it was lasting the due date hence without seeing the bill i had just paid online also you can see the complaints that i was not receiving bills properly.

Now I want the amount of Rs.1440 as per bill date 3-Jun-2011 charged as ILD charges and Rs. 270 as per bill date 3-Jul-2011 charged for the same number [protected] total of Rs. 1710 must be waived off or else will like to disconnect my connection.

Also i have been telling this to each and everyone who calls me from airtel but still no action taken. Request you to kindly look into this.

    Your modem should have a reset button at the back of it.

    Hold that button down for 10 seconds and the user name and password will reset to their default.
    You can restart your modem and use the default password and username is both "admin"

        I am following up with the Airtel Gallery at Panvel since 20th Sep '08 for switchover from post paid to prepaid. I had cleared the bill in cash on 20th sep '08 and I was handed over the new SIM card also by the staff at the galery. However till date the job is not done. Every time I am told that the system is not working and it will take 48 hrs. The staff at the Panvel Gallery never bother to give me the complaint number untill today till I raise my voice. I was given a number [protected] for registering the complaint which is continuely busy since morning. Even they do not bother to callback by seeing the missed number on the mobile.

        Beleave me, we are at the murcy of the staff at the Gallries of Airtel and there is no one who can controll them.

          When I recieve calls from VODAFONE(Rajasthan) Calls get mute especially in evening hours. I have observed this problem from last 10 days.

            I am staying at magarpatta City, Pune(411 028). I am using Airtel for the last 7 months and the network is really
            pathetic in this area. When I am out of the office building, the network bars are full(5 out of 5) but problems
            still exists in incoming and outgoing calls(Voice distortion). And the situation really gets bad when I get into
            the office building(Tower 11 in Magarpatta city). The network bars always fluctuate between 0 and 3.

            I think it was a mistake to switch to Airtel as other services like Vodafone and Idea are really providing great
            network. I have given complaints to customer care also for atleast 4-5 times but nothing has been done.

            I think its better to switch to some other service provider. Everyone working and staying at magarpatta City thinks
            in the same way. But the big question is why this company is providing SIM cards when it can't provide the network.

            i have a airtel connection and my no is [protected].i believe the airtel network is a pathetic network ...there is no good service at all...whenever try to call someone it says no network coverage...try to recharge no network...and from past two weeks it is like hell want to do any urgent call it doesnt allow because there is no network...having a mobile we have to go and call from pco ...its been really hectic ...hope you will take a immediate action or i would prefer to discontinue...

            I’m yet another loyal customer of airtel using your services from almost 6 years now. But yes for my observation at my residence at Magarpatta City, Iris Building is the same. I have been facing network issues from day one.
            Working with an US MNC and handling domestic /international customers/clients have become a nightmare for me when I’m at home. Somewhere in one website Your thread shows your teams work in Dec2010 but the issue is yet to be resolved.

            I hope you can make our lives better with better connectivity at MP city. It’s a matter of second and you might loose yet another loyal customer due to MNP
            We have verybad network in our area. I have complained ample of times to customer care but still no improvement.
            The service provided for 3G and 2G are pathetic in the area of Electronic City Phase I&II, Bangalore India. The network sometimes is so outrageous that not a single message is sent or received in time bound manner. Reuest you to look into this ASAP, or else you would be loosing quite a lot of customers to this poor, marketted fancy network
            Hi, Airtel claims to be providing the best network but I have been facing so much of problem...can't play anything can't download anything...such a waste thing what is the use of giving various offered when there is no connectivity...tried trouble shooting tips provided that is super waste none of the options really help . I live in Kaggadaspura, Blore. Please if something can really be done in this area or do I really have to port.

                MY MOBILE NO.[protected] IN CHENNAI. for the past one week the signal at Kalmandapam, Royapuram, chennai is very very low, unable to make a call. Even though I have tried the following Nos.121/198 nobody is responding to my calls, it is a recorded version asking the customer to wait, wait, wait and no reply. The Airtel Customer Care is only fooling us. Someone may please take up the matter at the appropriate level and action can be taken. The last resort is that this matter can be handled by TRAI or some other organisation for putting the customer to such an inconvenience. Thanking you.

                I think in jubilee hills, Hyderabad net work is very bad. Our office is near to Jubilee hills club. Number of our employees are having airtel sims. All are expressing the same problem. Net work problem will not be solved, we will be changed other company sims.

                I have an above no mobile from 4 years. (Parched for a life member after deposited the Rs 1000/ ) But now since 21-5-09 outgoing /incoming facilities withdrawn without any prior intimation. It is also inform you balance of Rs 95.00 on 20th May, 2009.

                I think in ROSERA SUBDIVISION( SAMASTIPUR, BIHAR), net work is very bad. My village is very near from airtel tower only four km distance. But always signal strength is very bad and all people having airtel sim card.

                    I am residing in Hyderabad. I took a mobile on 22.5.2008. The shop keeper put a sim card of AIRTEL bearing No.[protected] stating that it has got "LIFE TIME INCOMING FREE". I paid around Rs.195/- towards sim activation charges. I have taken a card of Rs.333/- and using the mobile. The message of validity was coming as three years i.e. upto May, 2011.

                    Since the amount was exhausted I asked my daughter to recharge the mobile. She did so with Rs.98/- on 24.7.2008. With this recharge, I lost the life time incoming facility and the validity of my connection was restricted to 30 days, instead upto March, 2011. That means by making a payment of Rs.98/- I have lost Free incoming for 3 years and got only 30 days incoming validity. (They have allowed me Rs.9/- talk time and withdrawn the life time incoming facility).

                    I wanted to complain about this. Only Customer care people were answering me. They stated that I have done a mistake by taking Rs.98/- card whose validity is only 30 days. By taking this card I lost the facility of 3 years free incoming, they added. They finally replied they cannot do anything in the matter and again I have to pay Rs.295/- to get 3 years free incoming facility once again.

                    This is ridiculous. When they have allowed life time free incoming facility once given, how can it be withdrawn when the RC card of Rs.98/- is taken by me knowingly or unknowingly.

                    I have tried with the Customer care people thrice for restoration of Life Time free incoming facility. But they refused. THEY ARE NOT GIVING THE TOP EXECUTIVE TELEPHONE NO. TO TALK TO HIM AND SORT OUT THE PROBLEM SINCE THE TOP PEOPLE WILL THINK WITH SOME BRAIN. Then I wanted to make a complaint through net. But they did not give me the Email Address. They also did not tell me about their website address. Simply they said that their website address is www.airtelworld.com. When I opened this site, it was stated that "the site on Complaints do not exist". How funny this is. The people doing phone business is not having any address. It is not known why they kept their address secret. This is not an ethical business by AIRTEL.

                        From the date of launching of Airtel at Sivasagar, Assam I bear my Cell No [protected].
                        I use to get wrong bill amount inspite of changing the Bill Plan.
                        On 3.10.08 my bill amount was Rs.162.25
                        On 4.10.08 my bill amount raised to Rs.199.25; wheares only a single call was done for36 Sec. only
                        On 5.10.08 my bill amount rised to Rs.201.25:while there was no call in or out.
                        I am having this problem for many months inspite of giving complain to 121 & [protected] via SMS.
                        Please do the needful so that I get the exact Bill Amount, since I am paying more then actual now.

                          I had applied for migration for 2 cards[protected] and[protected]from post paid to BAPS CUG in somewhere in the month of April 2008. I was informed that facility will be activated within 2-3 days from receipr of the cards. A person approched me with two cards on my name but I informend him that I already have two airtel post paid cards but just I want to migrate to BAPS CUG scheme. Therefore, he took away those cared and gave to some other person. I was asked to fill up two other forms afresh and given detail/documents as an agent asked for. I did it somewhere in month of May 2008. At that time also I was re-assured that same will be activated within few days. I made repreated inquiry but I was assured that within few hours/ few days facility will be available.

                          At last, since last three days I am calling your agent thrice a day and he gives me promise that "it will be done in few hours" or "I will call you after few hours that facility is now been activated".

                          Till date said facility is not activated on any of the number.

                          YOU, THEREFORE, ARE REQUESTED TO LOOK INTO SUCH ISSUE WHERE PEOPLE ARE BEING HARESSED LIKE ANYTHING AND FALSE PROMISES ARE BEING GIVEN TO THE CUSTOMERS. SUCH APPROCHED FROM A REPUTED TELECOM AGENCY IS NOT LEAST EXPECTED.

                          I am hoping for fast and positive responce from you.

                              I have taken duplicate sim card on 21/07 and i assured it will activate by evening.Till today activation was not happened.
                              Now they given new time line for activation ..29/07/2008.

                              Airtel Sim Card — Provided documents, frozen twice

                              On holiday in India I purchased an airtel sim card in Darjeeling in early October 2007. The office took copies of my passport and all forms were completed. Two days later I recd an sms saying I'd be cut off if documents not received. I went back to the office and they said they'd sent them in, those messages are standard procedure.
                              Ten days later when I was in Kerala the same message came through and service was suspended so I gave the Allephuzzha airtel office my passport again and they had service restored. About 10 days later service was suddenly suspended AGAIN without warning with the third time sms about documents not being received. I wonder if there is corruption involved - my id being used by criminals. It was also a waste of money because I couldn't use the calls I'd paid for.

                              I applied for the new Airtel Sim card but inspite of submitting all the documents the Airtel team didn't activate the service.I tried calling them many times but every time they behaved as if they are least bothered about my issue.They don't even think what their actual responsibilities are, everytime they people talked rediculously and personally I felt very disappointed.

                              I called 59059 from Sunday moring they told they will initiate the process to update the name and address It will take 24 hours .Again I called for 59059 Monday morning they told same thing it will take 24 hours to update .Again today I called they are telling same thing it will take another 24 hours to update the record. I called the people who took my address proof and given airtel SIM (Touch Point Services). For these procedure I called so many numbers which they called before getting to Airtel from past Two days more then 40 times. They are telling they are busy in meeting or we will get back to you or not receiving call.Its very bad. I send mail to tps.airtel.[protected]@gmail.com regaring problem which am facing but no reply. I don&#039;t know in airtel where the document goes and procedure what we need to follow and whom we need to contact for activation.people are telling its not coming under our work.                                 Inspite of submitting all the documents, malls being stopped, moreover when i complained about the same to customer care, I receive a message that your id is 3765570 and your std calls are activated, but the same not done.
                                When I called again in customer care they told that we not receive your documents but I submitted all the documents at the centre.My outgoing calls are still not started.

                                  Airtel Gujarat — online mobile Recharge not showing

                                  Yesterday March 9, 2009 I recharged online for Rs 555 my cell phone connection with AIRTEL through my ICICI account at Vadodara.

                                  The ICICI account shows the recharge was a success but my mobile does not show the balance. In the ICICI account statement it is shown as BIL/[protected]/0109/[protected]/91999 dr for Rs 555.

                                  Please let me know what can be done.
                                  Further to my complaint above, I was told the 555 and 444 scheme is off. They told me at the Alkapuri Baroda center of Airtel that nowadays Rs 440 scheme is on. Iconfirm this with ringing 121 and 12131. So I go back to my computer and recharge online thru ICICI for Rs 440 - still it does not show up in my cell although my ICICI account is debited for Rs 440. [ My relevant pass book entry reads as: 10/03/2009 BIL/[protected]/0109/[protected]/91999 DR INR 440.00].

                                  Today (March 12, 2009) again I went to the same Airtel center at Alkapuri Baroda - they tell me to talk to the phone consumer support. I do - the person on the line after hearing my problem tells me "this is not part of his scenario." Meaning I cannot do anything about it. He does not even suggest who will help me.

                                  One young lady staff seeing my irritation phones up various people to tell me that their fiance dept say that if you do online only Rs 425 is allowed (which the 121 service did not tell me) and my money will be credited back by Saturday -today is Thursday. So till now I have to recover Rs 555 and Rs 440.

                                    I have got my mobile phone no. from the above maini precision, Bangalore and left the company in July 2007 ., but I wanted to retain the same phone no [protected]

                                    Mr Kripa(his mobile no. [protected]) from Airtel, Bangalore have taken the form filled up plus company 's No objection clearance letterplus Rs 500/= address change fee, in November/ december 2007 and promised me to get done and the address will be changed & monthly bill will be sent to the home address.

                                    But despite so many calls and his promises, so far, address has not been changed and bills not coming to my home address. only message has been sent to me on bill amount without any details and I have been paying every month ontime.

                                    I request Airtel authority to take necessary action and change to my home address so that I will get the bill to my home address.

I was given a replacement sim card but up to 4.00pm my card had not been activated, I reported personally to the office and another replacement was done. Unfortunately upto today July 2nd 2011 my line is still inactive! the number is[protected]. Whats happening?

                                        AirTel — invalid transaction

                                        i have a very bad experience with airtel....

                                        they have deducted around 50 rupees first and when i complaint that in this form,

                                        they gave it back to me..

                                        but now on 6 feb 2012 at3:50 pm, they do the same (deduct) balance from my account and block my customer care service...

                                        plz solve that n stop these kind a foolish deduction

                                        help me, otherwise i will go to consumer court for these.
