Complaints are fraudulently closed and new complaint number opened without resolving the original complaint. complaint no.[protected] was lodged on 16th till today its not resolved but complaint closed and new number generated every day I call up. We had a life time ELT scheme of ( Rs. 99 - months to recharge is 12 )where we had recharged more than 12 times but still it is not converted to life time. Every time we approach customer care to check why it is not converted to life time prepaid they ask to recharge. Till now more than 15 recharges are made but still complaint is not resolved. When we call up airtel, every time new person speaks and says that he is manager and promise to resolve, We have spoken to more than 25 people and around totally more than 3 hours on phone .. Also lot of personal visits to airtel centers ..but all in vain. Till today this is not resolved and new complaint number is generated every time . There is no proper esclation / complaint resolution method available its the same customer care channel it goes .. every time one new guy speaks and new manager and no result.. its horrible experience dealing with airtel

    my name is hemraj thakkar. a executive of airtel visited my home and took all the details payment and i hav submmited respectively wat he asked for . then he gav me the number which is [protected] and told me that this number will b activated in next 48 hrs . but after 5 days the number was not activated so i called at the customer care and we talked to them we asked them why my number is not activated yet as we hav given all the documents and payment which was necessary . they first confirmed everything from my address to date of birth, after that they told me who was the executive who gav u this number i told i dont know the name then they told me as this is the vip number so we have not activated yet . i told them i hav not asked for this particular number and it was given by himself . they told but we cannot activate bcause this is a vip number and for this u have to pay rs. 5000 for the activation.
    and this talk is going on from last 3 to 4 mths approx. but yet after my many request they hav not still activate the number and they are demanding for the money of vip number which i got by the executive . now wat should i do? this is really a harrasment for me as i hav taken this number under a scheme of airtel to airtel free . anyone reading this complaint pls help me out of this . should i go to consumer protection act and complaint there too ? pls kindly help as i m still following the airtel staff regarding this and still now i m getting the same repeated answer.

    Dont leave these cheaters, these guys doesnt give any value for their word and promises. I have really bad experience with airtel, but that is from broadband. We should come up and make a separate arrangement for these guys . I request all o[censored]s to unite and take action.

      This is an old mail which was sent to the Nodal office of Airtel.

      To whomsoever it may concern,

      I had applied for a new Airtel connection with your staff in Andheri (e). After a discussion, I was told that the conenction would be set up within 10 days and the building will go live and till then we will get a temporary connection from the nearby buildings that have an Airtel Broadband connection.

      From the 8th day i.e. Monday (28th January 08), I started following up with the representative who sold the connection to me (contact name Sunil, contact number [protected]) as there was no activity happening around my house to set up the connection (AND NO TEMPORARY CONNECTION AS WELL). I was told by him that all the approvals have been gathered and the work will begin from today. However nothing materialized.

      10 days have passed an nothing was done about it. On speaking with the supervisor (Name Praful, Contact Number: [protected]), he says that there is an approval still pending and hence no work can start. On asking how long it will take, he says that at times it takes a month to get the connection. On trying to contact him again to further discuss this, my call was continously being rejected from his side.

      My question is if that if it takes such a long time, why we received the FALSE comitment of 10 days and above that if there were approvals pending, why were we told in the first place that everything is moving as per plan. Airtel Broadband is NOT showing true professional behavior.

      I request you to please tell me how long will you guys take to provide the connection (AND PLEASE TELL THE TRUTH) so that we can till then find other ISPs to solve our broadband needs. If you are not able to deliver, I request you to please give a full refund of the amount paid to you by my complete society along with an apology of not delivering to your commitments.

      Since then I received my payment back but I still havent received the signed documents which contains a No objection certificate for them. On continous requests I still havent received it. Please help me in either getting this connection or retrieving the documents which they have kept and are not giving it back.

      We acknowledge the receipt of your email dated 13th August '08.

      With reference to the aforesaid subject, we wish to reiterate the fact that modem if purchased outright from us (in your case since 2003) cannot be replaced for a brand new modem free of cost. Besides, the additional information we wish to impart is that, only if the modem is taken on monthly rental / EMI basis, then only modem replacement is done and even in that case a brand new modem is not provided. However, if you are interested you can take up with either of the following options to avoid modem
      charges:-
      First and foremost, you can purchase the modem which costs Rs.950/- only
      by submitting a requisition letter (with the details of Del number, Name
      of the connection holder and Address) along with the cheque or DD in the
      near by showroom in favour of "Bharti comtel Ltd account" (OR) ;
      Alternatively, you can migrate your existing plan to that o[censored]nlimited
      plans like 799 unlimited plan wherein modem rental is not charged.

      I am a esteemed loyal customer with excellent payment record since my joining your network. I am availing all of your value added services since inception. I bought modem outright paying hefty prices during launch of broadband introduction in Tamil Nadu. Today, it is not working for which I have paid heavy amount. Now, your support team is not replacing modem free of cost. Last time also I have asked them to replace outdated telephone sets whereas I have paid 1000 plus rupees to replace, if this is the trend and kind of service given to a most preferred customer I wonder how you satisfy the customer. If you are not replacing, I am constrained to change other networks with immediate effect, you will be loser of heavy price.

      It is not own as you have claimed it is very much supplied by Airtelbroadband when they first installed for which I have given full payment.       My modem requires replacement as per your engineer report. Since I am very much esteemed valued customer using your network all products for the last five years. Moreover, I bought this old modem outright purchase.       sterday night i lost my mobile([protected]).so for that i made a call to TSM GURU-Erode District(tn) and asked the current region of my mobile tower because its was active.. but they not respond me well sir..They asked me to submit File copy from police station..but police not providing the copy..Really i felt very bad about airtel TSM GURU GROUP(Erode district).
      I am distributor but not get valid information from them.then how come airtel customer wil get ??????
      Suppose in my situation any of customer suffer mean how can i help them???
      finally one thing sir, i[censored] dont want then cancel my distributor….
      Please take immediate action in this fault.

      Airtel Telemedia and broadband services — Old modem provided & not replacing it

      Dear Sir

      I had bought an airtel wireless router in the month of May from Airtel. I was told that its range is 100m.
      When I started using it, it wasn't working properly in the next room. I contacted Airtel regarding it. I was told that its actual range is only 10m.

      When I asked them to return my security, they denied. I was then informed that its non-refundable. Whereas, I was never told about this non-refundability of the deposit when I bought it.

      I wrote to the airtel nodal officer also regarding it and to replace the modem if not refund the security money. The refrenece number is 22355716. I have got 2 calls after this, but they are all making lame excuses like non-availability of the modem. This complain dates to 24th July, 2009 and I am not yet provided with a new modem.

      Also, whenever I call them, I am shocked to learn that my comlaint has been automatically closed by the company. They make false records that so and so person visited your site, while the truth is, nobody ever visited my site.

      Also, I changed my plan in the month of May. I had a top-up on my previous plan which I was told would be automatically deactivated on changing the plan. But, to my disgrace I am still being charged for that. The company is clearly resorting to unethical malpractises and fooling its customers. I am fed up of talking to the Airtel people as nobody seems to be entertaining the comlaint.

      Airtel Broadband — Failed to deliver the service

      I applied for airtel broadband connection with WiFi modem, TURBO plan (registrtaion number : TBLR 000853) on 4th of August and commited that i'll get the connection within 7-10 working days. I get my broadband connection on 15th of August but instead of WiFi modem, I got a normal modem. When i asked the dealer about the same, he told me that Wifi modems are out of stock. Now, I am waiting for Wifi modems for past one week. And Each time i call to customer care, they told me that i'll get the same within 1-2 days which never happens.
      Since they provided us with a normal modem and not a wireless one, I am not able to use the internet freely. The connection is shared by 4 o[censored]s in the apartment and since they provided only one LAN wire at a time only one computer can be connected to it. Also since the modem has to be installed at a central place, I cannot use my internet connection from other places in my apartment eg my room or study. This has practically led to the internet connection being useless for me.
      I applied for airtel broadband connection with modem, on 6th January, 2009 and commited that i'll get the connection within 02 working days. I didn't get my broadband connection till now. When i asked the person who has came to my house, he told me everyday that today connection is given. Now, I am waiting for connection for past one week. And Each time i call to people, they told me that i'll get the same within 1-2 days which never happens.
      My brother is taking leave from his college because of waiting but no-one is coming for connection. Who will compensate me brother's studies????

      Airtel Broadband — Interrupted network

      We do not receive a continuous Internet connection, frequently the connection gets interrupted, we suffer a lot due to this.

      Airtel — Failure to Deliver on Promised Services

      Dear Sir

      I had taken a DTH connection from Airtel over the phone from their customer services on 29 Jul 11 alongwith a Digital HD DVR and Ultra HD package and paid by credit card for 12 month. I was promised that I will also be given 2 month free next year plus Rs 250 credit by the same lady who sold me the package and that any additional HD channels that Airtel will introduce will also be available to me. My Customer id is [protected]

      However, my problems started from that day. Firstly the DVR was not installed within a day as promised and after that it took them 2 days to activate it. The DVR also misbehaved on a no of occasions and many a times the service engineer had to be called to repair it. The HD channels were conspicuous by their absence right from the start and when I called up the airtel I was told that I have not subscribed to the HD package and I realised that I have been duped by such a big company!

      However after my persistent complaints the superviser told me that due to wrong promise by their sales rep she is granting me HD channels gratis. And I started received the HD channels some time in Aug. However, from 01 Jan 12 all the HD channels stopped and I started getting the message that I have low balance. I again started contacting the Airtel and also wrote a no of emails as to how do I have low balance despite paying for 12 month rent in advance. I was then informed that the supervisor had also duped me as she had invoked HD services by cutting from my bonus amount which lasted till 31 Dec 11. THis was the second instane of false promise and act of treachery from such a reputed company

      I feel that the company has still NOT SOLVED MY BASIC COMPLAINT THAT I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY AIRTEL as I was promised HD services with a HD DVR for which I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT FOR 12 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Does it stand to logic that a customer will buy a HD DVR with the best package that was on offer with the Airtel at that point in time and pay for the services for 12 months in advance and not subscribe for HD channels?

      My mistake was THAT I TRUSTED Airtel's SALES REP ON THE PHONE AND PAID BY CREDIT CARD FOR 12 MONTHS RENTAL IN ADVANCE
      Had I paid for 3 months than Airtel would have been running after me rather than the other way around

      I request that HD channels be restored to me ASAP with in the existing subscription

      I feel that I HAVE BEEN CHEATED BY SUCH A BIG AND RENOWNED COMPANY and that too after I trusted the word of AIrtel's sales rep and PAID FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR IN ADVANCE

        TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN.

        I booked a airtel pre-paid connection forRs.250/- on the day of 23rd March, 2008 and mobile no.[protected] was allotted and the number was activated after some time. But, I am constrained to say that no call is being made either from Landline Number/MTNL MOBILE CONNECTION/MTNL LAND LINE CONNECTION. The most surprising thing is that even the call made from Airtel prepaid connection is also not being made. This needs to be investigated and remedial action taken accordingly under intimation to the undersigned at the given email address.
        Further a call made from airtel prepaid mobile No.[protected] is being charged @ Rs.2/- instead of Rs.1/-i.e. on 24th March, 2008 at 12:30 p.m.

          This is Gaurav Sahdev from New Delhi.Im pissed from Airtel, i had a airtel nubmber years ago & last dec 2007, i have cleard its outstanding dues in the court as BTNL did a case on me.Now in March 2008, i started getin calls from a lady sayin "She received some bank papers droped on road of ICICI BANK" when i rang her & asked about this she replied "Yes yes i have received 3-4 pacakages of bank papers, u tel me the name & i gve u the details, so when i told her the name she said "I have posted 2 the Address, they were from BANK OF RAJASTHAN", now here i had a doubt as when my dad spoke she told other bank & to me other bank & more of we never have Accounts in both of these bank & also she said these papers are in my mom's name, but now i tel my mom passed 2 years back.So after callin the lady 30-40 time she said she from AIRTEL & i hav a mob on my mom's name with out standing bills of 3500/-, she was ready 2 give 50% discount.So we gave the cheque 2 the guy who came.Few days after i came to know that same number has already been setteled in the Court, i have attached the scanned doc's that we received from Patiala Court New Delhi stating that we have already settled the account of the Airtel Mobile "[protected]" vide account numb "[protected]". Also there collection people tried to fool us & made stories those were fakes & they took a cheque of Rs.1600/- for settlement of the same above mentioned account & number that has already been CLEARED on[protected]. We have all the phone recorded conversation's those there executive did with us.

          But now no one is responding to me on calls, they see my num n cut calls.What do i do ??

            I had using airtel prepaid sim card, Mobile no. [protected].
            on 14.03.2008 i had lost my mobile and on 15.03.2005 i had visited airtel office and blocked my sim card. then i paid for new sim card having the same no. they told me that this new card will be activated in next 12 hours. after 12 hours the card was activated but outgoing call and message facility was not activated. so i dialed customer care no. which was announced during the messege over my phone that " your outgoing call facility in not activated please call [protected] for assistance" but form that sim card i was not able to dial that no. because the outgoing call was not supported on that no. then after i called customer care on 121 three times. first time they promissed me to activate it in next 12 hours. then second time they promissed that after 4 hours it will work. some time they cut-off line saying that they cant hear my voice. lastly today i called 121. but i am till not satisfied with the answer. i tried to go over website of Airtel. but i did't find any thing about customercare.
            at present i am using other sim card which is very costly to me. So, please do needfull.

            AirTel — Not activation of My outgoing

            My Mobile no. is [protected]. my outgoing is disconnected from monday dated 23th March 09 for reason of non submission of some documents like ID Proof And photo.

            Firstly it should take at the time of initial Stage as it was taken in 2004'

            Now i have submitted all these documents on 26th of March at PUsa Road branch but i have not got the connectivity. i Have made a call to Pusa Road but nobody was picking up the phone.

            In the evening he gave me assurance that it will be connected in a hour of that half an hour is passed.

            so should i disconnect the mobile phone of airtel.

                i am vijayakumar from madurai tamilnadu.i using our airtel prepaid mobile service for last 6 months from act 2007.my mobile number is [protected] which is coming under the 'six year' scheme.last fibruary 2008 i am not able to make outgoing calls from my mobile even i am having the balance of RS. 162.after one week i went to the madurai airtel head office which is locating at annanagar.they told me that your identy proof was not given.so you submit your identy proof and then after 24 hrs we are connect outgoing to your mobile.i immediatly submit my identy proof(four wheeler LLR xerox and photo, my native is madurai also for above 20 years) but after 24 hrs i am not able to make outgoing.during this situation last 19.03.2008 the incoming is also barred and simcard registration was failed.immediatily i send to this complaint to the same office, but there is no response to me i feel very lot.SO I WANT MY MOBILE NUMBER ACTIVATION BOTH INCOMING AND OUTGOING WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE(RS.162) AS SOON AS.

                  This Month I have checked My Bill Of no. [protected] i found in that airtel has charged Rs. 1711.00 As one time Charges but no clarification is there i have contacted so many times to customer care & Ro Jalandhar but got no proper reply. that is why i have stopped my bill payment yesterday so please do something so that i can pay my bill and clear the account as i always pay in time.

And in my all other nos when i purchased from Ro Jalandhar they issued along with the tariff 325 as i have to keep these nos at home i dont want such a big rental and the reply comes to me that airtel issues new nos only with this tariff so u can use for month & than change to gupshup or any other plan i said ok i will do after few days i have contacted airtel customer care to change the tariff and they told me request sent by them & it will change .But this time when bill came to me i found in all nos they have charged double rental on contact with customer care they told me it is advance rental and it will be adjusted only when you will ask us to disconnect the nos. but no body told me in the time of change of tariff or in the time of purchase of nos.
                  Please Wave of these advance rental & Give Clarification of of Rs.1711 Charged in My other no.i shall be very great full to you take personal attention to solve my problem other iwse i will stop all my nos.

                      Hi...

                      This is Raja Mukherjee working with Murugappa Group, Chennai.

                      I was earlier working in Mumbai and have shifted to Chennai some months’ back. As I had already been provided a corporate Airtel connection from my employer, I decided to go in for a pre paid Airtel connection for my wife. It turned out that journey of achieving stability with prepaid number was a dream which would never see its day.

                      Here is how the entire fiasco unraveled...

                      Prepaid number: [protected] was obtained on Nov 07 from a mobile agency shop after providing passport (for id proof and permanent residence proof) and rental agreement (for present residence proof). The connection was on full swing until one day the mobile showed "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED". Calling the customer care was of no help because they said that nearest Airtel outlet would do the needful. I visited the nearest Airtel outlet “X SQUARE COMMUNICATION” in Parrys’, Chennai only to find out that connection could not be reinstated because the lines were permanently disabled due to failure of address verification process. I thus lost my entire balance amount and the booster pack amount from my earlier connection.

                      Nevertheless I went for another prepaid connection bearing number: [protected] from the Airtel outlet, after paying all the charges for the new prepaid number. I submitted the same documents – Passport and Rental Agreement and repeatedly verified from Airtel executives in the Airtel outlet whether the documents would be sufficient for the connection. The Airtel executives (especially one person by the name of Mr. Muthu from X SQUARE COMMUNICATION) assured me that this time round, since I have taken the connection from Airtel outlet, there would be no problems. But again in Mar 08 the line was disconnected and the same message was displayed on the screen “SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED”. Again I lost my entire balance amount, booster pack amount and also the initial charges for the new connection. Under these circumstances, I would like to know:

                      - Why the line is disconnected without prior warning?
                      - When I am receiving all the correspondence in the present address including the bank statements what really goes wrong in the address verification process?
                      - While address verification process turns out to be positive for all other cases what goes wrong with Airtel? Is address verification ever done at all?
                      - Why don’t Airtel people call the person and verify over the phone?
                      - Is there some kind of strict regulation enforced by TRAI? If yes, why is it not shared with end users? Are the Airtel employees manning the outlet ignorant about new TRAI rules or are they feigning ignorance and busy ticking cash registers and in the process taking end users for a ride?

                      At the end it is the customer who is harassed like anything and nobody is held responsible.


                      Please enlighten as to what is really the cause of all this? Who is really responsible?

                        Hello All,

                        Airtel is being the worst Mobile Service Provider in Country ...

                        I have registered for Unlimited GPRS Connection but they are changing me for Unlimited GPRS Rental as well as Airtel Live Services. I am using 3rd Party Java Applications so, I don’t know what gateway it will be using for connecting to Internet. I have even told them to convert my Billing plan to Corporate Plan as per my other colleague have, (TCS) but even after 5 months they are still charging me same.

                        I have contacted their Customer Care thousands times as well I have contacted their Complaint Department (Nodal Officer) but no reply from their side.

                        I hope people will think before subscribing to Airtel.

As per my knowledge I check my billing amount through *121*2# on 26th February 2009. It was 210 Rs. only. But I check this payment on 28th February 2009, it was Rs. 1104. This is clearly chitting with me.

                        Why Airtel change my plan. This is a clearly chitting. I am a old customer, pls. suggest me what I can do.

The sim working just one day only. after that this sim was not working. i went the outlet and compaint it, they request to me go to the airtel office in coimbatore. i went 3 times the office . very very poor responce from the airtel staffs at there.they told the number is disconnected. i[censored] need purchase another one sim. this is a total cheat from the airtel company.technically frauds. i want to fight the company. what's the formality's sir.

                            I am being charged Rs 100/- per month for GPRS connectivity. I had not requested for this service. Now, when I am requesting for deactivation of thsi service, it is not done so. Each month Rs 100 is charged. Customer support executive says do not pay the amount and it will adjusted in next month bill but nothing so happens and now they have barred the outgoing service because of non-payment of dues.                               My name is Chanderdeep Singh and I'm from Chandigarh. I'm using my airtel no. [protected] from last 3 years.

                              I m feeling very very bad as i m their prestigious client...

                              I had requested them for change of my GPRS 99 plan to GPRS 500 on 12 July 2009. Since then they have de-activated my GPRS 99 services and when i call them at their helpline no, 121 or[protected], every time they say your GPRS will start in next 6 hrs. I think i have made more then 10-15 call to confirm.

                              And now thingh is that every time I call them for enquiry they disconnect the call.

                              By doing this kind of stuff they are ruining their image not only infornt of me but infort of whole world.

                                Hi, My name is Gaurav Gaur. I had an Mobile connection with Airtel with the phone number [protected] since September 02, 2007. Unfortunately I lost my Mobile phone on October 2007 and I had informed to airtel by visiting them at their Indiranagar Office in Bangalore. I requested them to disconnect the services from immediate effect and I was offered to go with a pre-paid connection and they assured to charge only the rentals for the month of October 2007. I accepted the offer and took a prepaid connection from them. To my surprise I received a bill on the following month (November 2007) where in my mobile connection was active and being used by someone else. They were unable to track the user or block the SIM so far. Further, I had sent them an e-mail to disconnect the services immediately and they did so. And I received a bill once again for the month of Jan 2008 for the clip charges and surprisingly it was charged on my account through ECS. When I raised an issue against this I was confirmed stating that this is the charges I have to pay and was assured that this would be my last charges what so ever. Surprisingly the bill statement is continued for the month of February 2008 as well. I have been receiving confirmations from their corporate office (E-mail copies enclosed) and still my account is charged through ECS. My account is being continuously charged and no satisfactory response is given to me so far. My research over the internet also con firms that I am not the only person to be cheated by Airtel.

                                Airtel — Surprising charges

                                Hello
                                I am a Airtel Consumer for more then 10 years ie. even before Airtel absorbed Skycell. I was suprised seeing my bill details where customercare calls i made are also charged, and every one knows how much time you need to wait in line for actually getting connected to the executive then he will ask you to wait for checking information etc., To my suprise i was charged Rs.81/- for customercare call. After a complete investigation I also holding Airtel Lan Line connection which was actually dead and i preferred to call customercare through my mobile is where i got these that only mobile customercare is toll free from mobile and lan line customercare is toll free from lan line and not vice versa.

                                Note: There is no seperate toll free numbers for reporting complaint

                                So if my lan line is dead and i have to complaint the same only through another phone and in my case being the mobile phone of same service provider atleast they must make it toll free for all airtel consumers including mobile numbers
                                i am in airtel with past three years...and i am in two years validity plan...suddenly yesterday i got the message from airtel saying that calling rate 10pm to 8pm to local mobiles on your plan is revised to re.1/min.

                                already i had complaints on airtel some couple of months ago...

                                in no other communication like aircel, reliance etc...in night no one will charge to local mobile as re.1/min in night...what is this non sense...its charging heavily...

                                  I'm unfortunately a loyal customer for airtel giving business with them for over 4 years. I also posses 5 connections of airtel Post paid. OF the 5 connections 2 are from ECS ([protected], [protected]). Until date, I have never missed out a single payment due. This time in spite of adequate amount available in my account, the Airtel bugs me to do the payment to avoid the Penalty. This is ridicules; they have failed to debit the amount on time and trying to penalize me unnecessarily. They say that they got their amount bounced with inadequate amount pending. This sounds absurd to me.

                                  Earlier they used to debit the bill amount before the 10th of every month. Off late they stared deducting post 10th. They claim that they normally deduct during the sue date that is 12th of every month.
                                  In order to avoid the penalty, I make sure the amount is right available before 5th of every month.

                                  I am worried if they penalize me for not a mistake of mine and for their blunder.

                                  Please help me for further action to avoid penalty, as I do not want to change my connections unnecessarily, this account is used for my business purpose.

                                  We had procured a prepaid SIM card ([protected]) from Laser Valley Telecom, 27, Bazullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai 17 - Contact [protected] on 30th May 2009. The relevant documents (xerox copy attested) were handed over to the counter person on the same day and we were assured that the card would be activated in 24 hours time. After several follow ups we finally had the SIM activated after almost one and half days.



                                  After 3 days the SIM got deactivated automatically with no prior notification to us and no incoming or outgoing calls could be made, on making outgoing calls, the message we got was "Your line is temporarily deactivated due to non-submission of documents". We did multiple follow-ups with the AIRTEL customer care support and went down 2-3 times to the showroom to report the problem. We spoke to the showroom owner Geoffery ([protected]), where in he promised that there was some issue at Airtel end and the LW document submission no was not clearly communicated internally and he would take care of it.



                                  The line was not activated for more than a week, and we had been still continuously and patiently following up with another person Ram ( [protected] ) in Laser Valley Telecom, as Geoffery was not reachable. After multiple follow-ups and visits to the showroom in T. Nagar, the line was activated by the end of the day on 14th June. The next day morning when we tried making an outgoing call, we again received the same message "Your line is temporarily deactivated due to non-submission of documents". Since that day till date we have been trying to reach Ram, Geoffery and have also registered another complaint with the Airtel customer care support[protected]th June) for which we were told to contact the showroom for activation of the SIM.



                                  I would also like to bring to your notice that we had procured two SIM cards (one for my father-in-law and another for my mother-in-law) in April 2009 beginning from CELL.COM at T.Nagar which also did not get activated for more than a month after our constant follow-ups with the Airtel customer support centre and showroom where we purchased it. We had procured these prepaid SIM cards to attend to personal medical emergencies in the family and ultimately we could not use it. The whole purpose of having procured the Prepaid SIM is lost, as my Father-in-law expired due to illness on 17th April 2009.



                                  Everytime we try calling the airtel customer support centre we get standard replies that either we have to walk into their showroom to resolve the issue ( knowing the fact that this is an issue where somebody has probably lost the documents we submitted or has not submitted it properly), due to which the SIM is not activated. When we try reaching the showroom owner or customer support executive either he is not interested in attending to our problem or just notes down our mobile no. [protected] and says that he will get it activated in 24 hours, which anyway does not happen.



                                  It has been 2 months since we are trying to get a prepaid SIM activated with Airtel but with no proper support from any of your customer support executives or your nodal officer’s (whose mobile no.s are switched off most of the day – [protected]).



                                  It is pathetic to note that a mobile network who advertises on perfect service and customer support ultimately cannot cater to such a simple request like this.

                                  I have raised this issue with the [protected]@airtel.in on 01st July 2009, but there has been no response.

                                  When I tried calling the Airtel Customer care support yesterday again, the response i get from a senior executive officer is that i need to resubmit the documents as they have not got registered with them due to loss of documents.

                                  I hope to get a proper resolution atleast by raising this complaint with you.

                                    hello iam vinoth . i have recieved so many unwanted messages, i already message(do not disturb). then they stoped the messages . now a days i recived unwanted messages from AT-Talktime, Lm etc etc.., I asked the customer care no they told me to send mail, Please stop me the unwanted messages as soon as possible .                                       I have opted 197 plan where in talktime of 1000 minutes to Airtel to Aitel was free but when i made call to airtel no Rs. 2 was deducted from my balance account for one minute. & Subsequently free talktime also reduced. However, Without optring this plan any local call from aitel to airtel or to any network is just for 1 Rs. for a minutes. When i spoke with Customer Care Executive his reply was not satisfactory. Please look in to the matter & send reply at the earliest.

                                        my self N.N.MANSURI, HAVE ACTIVATE Airtel Live SERVICE. SEVERAL TIMES I COMPALAINED TO CUSTMAR CARE. BUT COULDNOT FOUND POSSITIVE ANSWER. SINCE LAST MONTH MORE THAN Rs.170 HAS BEEN CUT FROM MY ACCOUNT. MY MOB.NO.IS [protected]. ON THIS NO. MESSAGE IS COMING FROM THE NO. 64611007. AND MUSLIM RELATED MESSAGES ARE COMING. FOR EVERY MESSAGE RS.7(SEVEN) HAS BEEN CHARGED. I WANTED TO DEACTIVATE THE SERVICE. BUT TILL DATE NOBODY HELPED FROM AIRTEL COMPANY. IT IS MY SINCERE REQUEST THAT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE THIS SERVICE SHOULD DEACTIVATED.

                                        Airtel/prepaid card — msg services

                                        Its been 3 years i am using airtes services.but from last oct. i am having problem related to free msg services.i have not subscribed any services but 30rs. amount was deducted from my number.i called up on [protected] and inquired about this and got an ans that they have no details related to any diduction from my amount.after that in every 20to 25 days i file my complain but did not get any ans.evey month i get msg from 64611030 number i got 30 rs.cut from my number.i even went to customer care office in my city and was assured that this service will get deactivated in 24 hours..but nothing such happned. every month i am charged 30rs. for some services which i dont know.and no one is answering to my complaint.

                                        Airtel Prepaid — SERVICE MESSAGE

                                        MY mobile number is [protected]. I am frequently getting service message, which I don't like. I never requested this type of message from Airtel. If you opend it, then immediately your balance will become zero. Why they are sending this type of messages. This is my second complaint, and it is irritating me.

                                        A line of confirmation is highly appreciated.

                                        Airtel Prepaid Card — Poor service

                                        I have been using my Airtel prepaid card for the last 2 years. But the last year has proved poor and low quality service of your prepaid card. he reasons are ..

                                        1> Many times amount has been deducted without any reason.
                                        2> Poor network in Navi Mumbai area.
                                        3> Many people complains my no. is NOT reachable then what is the use of MOBILE phone.
                                        4> I have lost many important calls why???????????????????
                                        5> Who would pay for the loss which I have to suffer when someone is not able to reach me on my no??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????...⇄

                                        6> Why customer service number is NOT reachable?????????????????????

                                        7> Please reply me to my email id...I am really fed up with this number if I had not given this number to many people I would have replaced this [censored]ing card...
