I have had this on gong issue but till date they have not changed my Bill Plan.I have copy pasted the mail Chain.

I got calls and messages from unknown numbers so many times.I got piece off.So I want to know the detail information of that guy.I already called your customer care, but they can't provide me and they gave me this website.So would you be able to provide me an information of that guy if i give you tha number?
My pre-paid mobile [protected] was blocked for incoming and outgoing calls on Monday. No prior information was ever given to me. I have tried to get accross to your Customer Care at [protected]. It has a long a winding process and at the end I hardly get any information. With great difficulty I managed to talk when I was told that I need to submit documents.
I am using this number for the last 9+ years. Any way I gave the documents to your Malviya Nagar office day before. Telephone is still blocked. I was told it takes 72 hours for documents to reach head office in Delhi from Malviya Nagar.
It is unthinkable in this era of technology and instant communication.
What I have lost in terms of work and communication in this period cannot be explained.
Hello all.
I have taken Airtel corporate plan for Dell – Pune. Under this plan I have taken 2 numbers on my name, with the same address.

But for 1st number outgoing is not working, from last 7 days, because of verification issue. If I have bought 2 numbers under the same plan, with the same address, and on the same day both the numbers got activated, then why outgoing is bared for 1 number because of verification issue. For another number([protected]) outgoing is on, and it’s verification showing positive.

It is very funny. I am facing discomfort and irritated because the reply which I get from Airtel executives. These executives are from Wegacentre Pune office.

Above mentioned both the guys came to my office and sold me both the connections. Everytime when I call them most of the time they do not pick up the phone.

Absolutely agree, have a worse experience wherein I was not able to make STD calls to Pune and suffered as I had an important patent issue going and you know how the attorney's are. Had applied for disconnection on 26/5/08 and it seems they have woken up only on 19/5/08 after i had sent a cc to nodal officer and appelate authority, though they have agreed to take back the bills sent to me after 26/3/08 and have asked me to ignore the same, it does point at apathy towards consumers by AIRTEL. Airtelk owes me an explanation for the STD issue but has calmly choosen to ignore it. They have conveyed that the connection is disconnected from 19/5/08 and technically this means that they will charge me rental at prorated basis. I have written against this and hope the AIRTEL responds. Let us start a forum of People against "AIRTEL"!!

Contrary to the complaints, I have had exceptionally good experience with Airtel. Their network is the best in the country as on date and their customer care department is responsive and provides quick solutions. I had a complaint with the billing and within a few days they refunded me over Rs. 900/-. Undoubtably they would deserve the praises.
I took a post paid connection [protected] before three monts, the plan was as 222 plan in which i am supposed to get 222 mins free talk time. in mean time i requested for an added value service of std package, and i confirmed thrice from customer care service that weather by using this added value service will there be any problem in getting free 222 mins talk time, i have been confirmed as there is no connection between added value service and bill plan, but when i receive my 1st bill I could see that i was not given discount on free talk time, but as it was my first bill I could not clearly make out what was the problem, the same was continued in the 2nd month bill, so when i asked custumer care they said that i am not authorised for free talk time because iam availing added value service, after a lot of argument instead of a discount of arround 550 rs i have been given a discount of 220 rs only. i dont think so i am on fault at any side.Airtel being such a big concern giving various clarifications from customer care service is not at all accepted, and even i have forwareded 2 compliants regarding network problem, which has not been sorted out till date. Even i could see that I am not given my free talktime in my present month bill even after deactivating added value service. i hope i ll get a good reply very soon.

I have been scammed by Airtel landline - they activated 'helo tune' without my consent and now are charging me Rs. 30/month for it. They are not allowing me to disable it - It seems I have to call a number at Rs. 3/min to disable it.

I had quite a few billing issues with them. I have already disconnected one landline (I had 2 landlines from Airtel - their service was good in the intial days.)

I am planning to approach consumer court. Do any of you want to join me? Our case will have a lot of weight if we team up and it will force Airtel to seriously re-consider its unethical business practices.

Hi, Till date i'm no getting network at my home place as well as my society area. Airtel — no able to join the group

i have bought a new airtel friends prepaid card and so want to join in a group of three, as given by the network the group password is not valid, though there are three sim cards that are in the same group and very much working . i have called the customer care several times but they have no given me the right solution what so ever.
AIRTEL is a BULL .

Since I shared my number with many clients, friends and relatives I had to pay 4500/- cash to retaion my number for changing from postpaid to prepaid, because of their cheating in the bill.

Their custcare never asnswer properly, if call them again they keep you on hold for hours.

Third class people. Without any value.

I have been having a very tough time with the Airtel Customer Care which is unbelievingly unresponsive. I had a message scheme activated when I was in my home network(Delhi). Thereafter i went out of station and the roaming charges started to apply. But even when i returned to Delhi, Airtel charged ( and continues to charge) roaming rates for my messages which is absolutely ridiculous as I have a scheme which should resume as soon as I reach back within my home network. I have logded a complaint six times but to no avail. Each time the executive tells me that your complaint has not been registered!...It would be great if the matter could be resolved ASAP.

Then i call customer care they told me the Rs. 99 tarrif is converted into Rs. 97 tarrif and Rs. 99 tarrif for the life time recharge which i don't want .all this is happened due to the lack of information by the retailer and now he is not commiting his mistake.So please help me and transfer this life time recharge into std tarrif for 3 months validity with Rs 1/min call rate.oterwise can't tolerate all these anymore and definitely i'll drop my connection.Sir please help me

The service provided by AIRTEL is pathetic

if you call the customer service - they will never be able to solve any problem - but they are trained to use the words ' sorry for keeping you waiting on line', 'thank you;

when it comes to solving your problem they are absolutely of no use

even the appelatte authority has herself told me that she is helpless in getting her people to speed up work and she has not even given a deadline for it

Airtel — STD call was charged Rs.550 per minute

I have received last month bill (dated from 20/10/2010 to 19/11/2010). In that one of my outgoing STD call was charged Rs.550 per minute. That number is also an Airtel number and also my mobile does not have international outgoing during that period of time. Same I was complained to customer care but the response was not good. They were saying the bill was generated and you have to pay.

I have received a message from Airtel on 15/11/10 saying your total usage till 14/11/2010 is Rs.5968, which is nearing your credit limit of Rs. 6800. From that day I was mentaliy upset.

      Hi

      I am a regular mobile user and due to my nature of work I need to be in constant touch with my client. I have just now relocated to Kolkata and I must say the network of Airtel is worse here in Rajarhat area. That too didnt bothered me much and I subscribed to Airtel's missed call alerts. Upto my surprise, the money was deducted but no alerts were forwarded to me. When I contacted customer care, they were just fooling around.

      Its been more than 15days and still no concrete step has been taken for my complaint. Please look into the matter and do the needful. As for me, I am going to ban Airtel connection in my office.

          I am working in Andheri east. I knw there is some network proplem in Airtel but for hw long we will suffer from this since we are facing this problem only in Andheri area because I can called my other friends those are out of Andheri and having airtel connection, but I can't receive or made any call from my mobile to any number.             Solution : You have to check your balance very often if you are prepaid customer. As soon as you notice it, send email to Airtel then they will revert your balance.

              I am practicing anaesthetist at Hisar (Haryana). I got a postpaid connection activated some 15 days back. After 2 days of activation my services were barred due to negative verification report by your executive, who probably did not at all visited my place as it is located at a very prominent place and the address was correctly written on the form. After my visit to custmer care office at Hisar (Haryana) my connecation was reactivated with the assurance that this would never happen in future.
              Here I am sorry to mention that my connection has again been barred since yesterday night with no prior information and the reasons not known to even your custmer care executives situated at Mohali.
              Kindly expedite my reactivation to avoid further losses to me or I may discountinue your services.
              This has resulted in professional as well as monitory losses which is still on going. I am really upset with this services provided to me.

                Im ready to furnish all details and take course to legal procedure against an AIRTEL customer relationship centre at Nagpur, Laxmi Nagar namely, R C Cellular.
                As far as my case goes, according to their scheme i had opted to changing over from prepaid to postpaid service.
                But, after 7 days an altogether new number has been alloted to me and my original number has been suspended as they say.
                The 'executives' there used unparliamentary language and their tone was everything but humble and apologetic.
                The people there are not worth being called as customer relation executives. It speaks bounds of AIRTEL's commitment towards customer satisfaction...Just shahrukh in your ads wont do!
                Il make sure they bear the brunt.

                    I am compelled to bring to your notice that the billing address of my Luckow broadband/landline number[protected] has changed. This is because I shifted my residence from 3/334, Vishal Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow 226010 to 2/156 Vishal Khand Gomti Nagar, Lucxknow, 226010 over 17 months ago.
                    The phone connection was shifted by your staff to my present address.
                    Despite this, my monthly telephone bills were being sent to my earlier address. However, in the last two months I have stopped getting them at that address too.
                    Last month (July 2008) I requested you to send me my Monthly bill on my yahoomail account which you did and I could pay the bill on time.
                    This month I am aware that my bill due (Rs. 1065) date is August 16, 2008 and your customer care staff promised to come over and pick up the cheque from my residence (2/156, Vishal Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lcuknow 226010) but no one has turned up as of 7 p.m., August 16, 2008.
                    As a result I am yet to pay my latest bill and request you to do the needful at the earliest. I also wish to add that I will now be forced to pay late fees for no fault of mine . Treat this as urgent and make the necessary address change and solve my bill delivery/payment problems.

                    I bought two prepaid connections from Airtel three years ago. I paid for lifetime i.e., Rs. 999. Last year I was asked to resubmit my verification papers which I did. I used my phone again during the month of March 2008 and when I came back from USA in early December 2008 my phone was completely vanished from Airtel sreen with no intimation. No one could tell me the real reason. My telephone numbers were[protected] and[protected]. Since I live in USA and visit India for a month every year I paid for the lifetime. I also own property in India, I still have money left in these two phone numbers. It has given me too much of inconvenience by the cancellation of my phones by Airtel. I would like some one higher up to look into it and advise me as most of the Airtel I visited had no answer as my phone will not appear on their screen. Just a small comment on verification - why good people are always targeted not the people who should be?                       Airtel has discunnected my service after 4 years with out giving proper deadline to resubmit documents, Though I submitted documents again and again still my service is showing temporarily disconnected.
                      I called/emailed many times to customer care execative but their reponse is same like their service, they suddenly disconnect the call when they don't answer.
                      There asnwer is go to airtel relationship center and submit documents once again.

                      And when you submit the documents at airtel relationship center they are not agree to give any recipt of submission.
                      i want to receiving bills from january 2005 to january 2009

                        i was assured of 64 kbps speed of connectivity but it hardly provides 8 to 9 kbps speed. for the last one month i am trying to get my telephone disconnected. each time i was reminded for bill payment, i requested them to disconnect my phone. they told me that i should send written request to thair local office at hazratganj. to my great surprise my letter is not being received in that office at any cost. i have unplugged the airtel phone and broadband connection. i request the top brass of airtel to intervene in the matter to get the telephone number[protected] disconnected immediately. dated march 31, 2008.

                          On August 19, 2009 two messages came informing about the balance deduction of Rs 15/- and Rs5/- respectively. the balance of my number was Rs.20.07 and after the deduction the balance was Rs0.07. As I use more than one mobile I didn't recharge the number and used the other one and complaint about the above mentioned deduction, which was not given any heed by the customer care executive. Today, on 1st Sept, 2009 I recharged the number with Rs.15 which gave a balance of Rs.11.60 and the total balance Rs.11.67 After the recharge, a call was made of Re1/- and just after that a message informing of a deduction of Rs.10/- arrived. On calling the customer care service it was told that GPRS is used on the number while I use NOKIA 2300 handset which is not a multimedia handset and GPRS cannot be used on the same.

                          I am Ashok Sharma From Kolkata Using Airtel no.[protected]. In the month of May they deducted Rs. 300/- what your call detail shows that i have used Airtel live service whereas i have not activated any internet service on my mobile, I am using Blackberry 8100model which can not run internet service without balckberry server how Airtel live can be used that i am not getting. As well i asked abt it from your Bb.[protected]@in.airtel.com they say "We would like to inform you that the GPRS services as a stand alone service will not work with the Blackberry Hand Held as the features and settings of the Hand Held is different from the normal GPRS enabled Hand Helds. To use the services with the Blackberry Hand Held, the Blackberry services need to be enabled which is bundled with GPRS services.So how your server is showing the usage of airtel live. The thing is i am also networking professional so coampany has already provided me lappy+data card (unlimited) so i always (24x7) have net facility.
                          Kindly resolve my problem and my amount of 300/+ 50/-(against ebill) which was needed due to your fault only therefore it must be refunded.

Sir how balance could be Rs.1.00. Please rectify this and confirm me at my other number [protected] (R. K. Shahi).

                          Please note same thing happen at my other air tel number [protected] on 30th October evening.

                            I used an Airetl potspaid connection while I was in Bangalore.I relocated to Pune and got the number deactivated.Since, ECS was active on my account, I placed a request so as to remove any further debit also on my account.Still, Airtel has been debiting rental charges from my account.I tried contacting the concerned people but of no use.121 sent back a mail saying that the amount has been refunded to my account, but no such action was taken.When I try calling customer care people, they keep me on hold nad do not respond.The customer service is pathetic. I dont think I will get the money refunded ever, but the sad part is I have spent more amount in calling them up so as to get the problem rectified.Is Airtel going to reimburse me this amount?

                              I have sent a sms to 121 GPRS to activate the gprs service on mobile on 21/3/08 at 8.53.35 at 15.05.23 I sent a message to 121 MYVAS but grps was activated, at 16.49.46 I contact customer care exuection but gprs was activiated again tat of 4 hours give at 17.22.37 the service was activates on mobile. Then I spoke to one of the supervisor Seema about the quality of service and I told to deactivate the gprs. At the same time i sent a message to deactivate the gprs service.

                              Again on 22/3/08 I got a message that gprs is activated as per my request whereas I informed to deactivate the gprs service.

                              On 30/03/08 I called and informed that activiate gprs service on mobile but I got a message saying that net on phone is activates on my mobile, when I sent a message i also spoke to one of the customer care executive and I clearly told him to activate the gprs service on mobile. Then again I called and informed the customer executive to deactive all the service from my account whether it is gprs or net on phone, I dont want the service of airtel at all.

                              On 17/4/08 at 00.45.10 I sent a message to 121 to activate gprs on mobile, i got a receipt mentioning that service will be activiate in 4 hours. at 9.7.5 I called customer exuection he told that still gprs service is not activiated on my mobile, when i request him to transfer the call to the supervisor he said supervisor is bussy on another line and he will back after 0.5 hours and service will also be activiated in 0.5 hour.

                              Till 18/4/08 time 11.36.10 the service was not activated on my mobile I called customer care execution and spoke to Mr. Jadhav he also told me that the service will be activiate within 2 hours, I told him to transfer the call to the supervisor, he first declined when I shouted on him he transferred the call to Ms. Smita. She was so roude and she does not know how to talk with the customer, she does not have any right to sit at supervisory level if she dont know the meaning of customer care. After a huge argument I told her to give me the details of my bills about the gprs charges, we was telling me to check on the web site, I told her that I am requesting you to give me gprs service you are not giving me the service then how can I check my bell on net. I told to take request to provide me the detail report of all the charges leived on me because of gprs & net on phone and from when to when the charges applied.

                              She was not ready to leson to my request she was just repeting that you have to check on web or I have to pay Rs. 50/- for the same. After a huge argument she kept my phone on hold for more than 1 & 5 hour.

                              I would like to request you to check the case throughly and take the necessary action, because I dont thing that I am wrong at any point.

                              And also I would like to have all details that how many time I contacted 121 for assistance, what was the communication.

                              Airtel Postpaid — GPRS activationDeactivation

                              I had sent a request to activate GPRS on 23 feb but it was activated on 26 feb which was of no use for me i asked them to deactivate it but was not done for 6 days and i was charged foe 3 days after settlement. Now my GPRS is not Deactivated again from 24th of may till date even after raising the issue for five times, they only forward the reference number that's it. again u will call and do settlement of days and finally I will be in loss.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I am a prepaid coustmer of airtel with mobile number [protected] from asansole.I had activatated the GPRS it works in west bengal but when i go to jharkhand it dosnt work there.I have talked about the issue to the customer care several times and no action was done.Then i went to the local office of the Airtel in asansole and made a complaint there as suggested by the person i should have recieved a call from the techincal assistant but it never happened.
                              There is one more issue that if you dial the customer care for more than 2 times a day then this services would be bared for a month.I dont understand if you dont give service a person will call u and by no means the service providers should make a rule such as this one..

                              I requested for activating my airtel mobile office/airtel live serivce on 14 september at customer care, my no is [protected], then i waited for 2-3 days to get my service activated, after that more than 10 times i have called to cutomer care and requesting the same but each time false commintment is been maded to me that u will recive the seeting within 4 hours and u will able to use the service and against the same requet number 28510623/F[protected]/28490097 is been given to me despite of my reminder calls to cutomer care my srvice is not been activated due to which my facing mental harrasment as well as loss on by profeesional end.This is a pathetic service by airtel, this experience has made me to think o swithching to some other network,I would say airtel is the worst in customer care.
                              kinldy look into the matter and resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                              Please stop such activities. Being such a reputed organisation it is surprising you are indulging such activities.As I am not interested such service from Airtel please immediately unsubscribe such service and refund the amount so deduceted so far,

                                I had applied for shifting of my broadband connection (request no 32160) on 15th March 08. till today it is not done whereas new connections are provided in same apartment.

                                on calling their costomer service center, it was told to me that they are still augmenting capacity of DP installed there, whereas same DP is being used to provide new connection.

                                This is Let You Know That I Applied For The Airtel Broadband On Monday 21st Of July 09 I Paid 500 Rupees as The Installation Charges and Gave The Proofs aswell The activation Has Been Delayed Due To Outstanding On My Fathers acc Hence There is Delay In activation Now If You Would Check My Payment History I Have Never Been late in paying the bills. I am Different In Paying The Bills as Compare To My Father I Believe In Paying The Bills On Time and I Never Had Disputes With Airtel So How Come You Can Delay My Broadband Activation. Anyhow My Identity is Different Form My Fathers I Called The Customer Service Helpdesk For Broadband Had a Word With Saurav Yadav Was Very Rude On Call Didnt Helped Me at all I Asked For The Manager Or The Supervisor Said That We Dont Have The Managers and Supervisor And Said that I am Not able To Find any Information He Took 10 Mins To Get The Information I Educated Him That I am Calling From The Mobile Still He Took So Much Time To Check The Information HE WAS NOT HELPFULL AT ALL HENCE I NEED TO HUNG UP THE CALL .I Called From [protected] at approx 9.00 On 23rd Of July 09 .Now Fortunately My Broadband is activated on the Old Adress But I Need To Transfer The Broadband To The New Adress and I Have Been Told That I Wont Be Charged For Installation Of The Broadband On The New Adress and I Will Be Charged From The Date The Broadband Will Be Activated On The New adress So Kindly Please Look into The Matter and Reply as Soon as Possible as It Has already Been 1 Month Without The Broadband service Please Make a Note I Have Been Provided New Number Without My Consent aswell But Still I Can Adjust With The Number

                                  I had bought a new airtel sim card 1 month ago in pollachi(mobile number is [protected]).My name is Ashok and i bought the number in my father name A.Nagarajan and the address proof is 19, Ram Nagar, Near Railway goodshed, kittu gounder layout, Pollachi-1.After 4-5 days the out going for that sim is been disconnected and i contacted my dealer and customer care but still the issue is not been solved.I gave 2 copies of my address proof to the airtel dealer in pollachi and he said within 2 days the issue will be solved.But still now it was not solved and iam very unhappy bcz of each and every call i have to go to a PCO and make a call.It is really enbracing for me.I will wait till upto tommorrow evening if the issue is not solved i might get a new sim feom BSNL office.

                                      I was told abut a plan with monthly rentals of Rs.250 in that i was given 1000(one thousand) mins free for A2A calls.so for this I was agreed to take a new connectin.after using this new number for few days i got to know i was cheated as the plan which was told to n the plan which was given to me is totaly diff n i was geting charged for even A2A calls.when i complained against this to customer service my plan was changed but now airtel insisting me to pay the bill for the period i used my connection for A2A calls.As i was told A2A 1000mins free i calld A2A more.now how cn i pay dis bill as i was told dat A2A is free.but for this issue my outgoing is barrd.though i hv discussd the same matter with many ppl calld frm their billin dept.

                                        I have purchased Airtel Gold Post Paid Card and the sales man on the phone have promissed me to give my choice of number and they fail to do so and now 4 - 5 days have been passed but they have not activated my card and they do not attend my calls, if they attain my call they would only say that they will call me and they never call me.

                                        When i asked from which company they are calling me they told me that they are from AIRTEL but i know that this is not true and they are just making me angry.
