airtel has the worest customer care dept. i have ever delt with & talkin of their network coverage in goa is also one of the worst , even so as BSNL have improved their service , I WAS FACING A TECH. PBLM WITH MY PRE PAID SERVICE WHICH WHEN EVER I TRIDE TO DE-ACTIVATE MY GPRS BY SENDING SMS PROPERLY CONFIRMED BY CUST. CARE DEPT. IT WOULD REPLAY ME SAYING THIS IS NOT A PRE PAID NO. HENCE UR REQUEST IS INVALLID & TO TOP IT ALL THEY WOULD DEDUCT MY BALLANCE ,CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE WAS COMPLAINED SEVRALL TIMES BUT ALL IN VEIN. ILL NEVER COME BACK TO AIRTEL SERVICE IN MY LIFE.

Airtel GPRS service — No any responce from customer care

Dear sir
I am using your Internet service through GPRS since 4 months. It was /is working good but since 1 st december i faced a problem of not being open the telnet port 6013.I am facing a lot of problem with this type of restriction.Since 1st dec 2007 i have complaint a lot on 121 , SMS ,Mail,etc.
Each time i faced the massage that your problem will be rectified with is 24 to 72 hours. but there is no any responce from the customer care yet. Even the customer care executive facility has been blocked on 121 and [protected] no of airtel so u cant chat even with the customer care.tou dont have any place to complain all this.Thanks if i get any reply after writing here ...i dont know..

Airtel GPRS Service — No talk of GPRS executive service

I have activted GPRS in my perpaid conection GPRS service activeted but GPRS helpline excetive not responce so there i will not surfing in my somputer charges already deducted in my account but nobudy can help me .

Airtel GPRS service — my gprs (mobile office) service is activated after deactivated on 18-01-2009, due to service problem o may be my account has been hacked

hi, ser i am prabhakar sharma my mob no [protected], i am from bulandshahr. i have activated my gprs service on[protected], in the morning by useing *266*1# and in that night i have deactivated it by useing *266*2# but after some days i watched my gprs service that ws activated .i cound not get it.
it is activated till now and there no balnce charged for this sevice .
i am shocked that may my conection be hacked or this is the mistake of sevice provider .
or this may be new plane . if my conection be hacked plz, deactivted all Gprs sevices
or provide the security for this Cenection

only one time i have used yahoo zone through airtel mobile and after that i m continously charged by yahoo zone .please unsubscribe this service as i m chareged with out even using this .

Airtel — mobile office not activated

I Have prepaid connection i want to activate Mobile Office.The activation time required was told to be 48 hrs.But even after a week I am not able to use internet on my phone.I called customer care every day and the reply I got was some updation work was in progress so please try after 8 hrs.After few days when I tried calling Customer care they didnt hand over my call to the executive instead they are telling to sms the complaints to 121.I called the customer care from another number and asked why my number was banned, then they told that it is due to frequent calling.If this is the case then where should we report our complaints.I never expected such a bad service from Airtel.From my experience I learned that if they are not able to solve our complaints on our first reporting then we should not try to report it further or our number will be banned and we will not be able to call customer care.So all Airtel users please be aware of this.

Airtel — GPRS ( Mobile Office has not been Activated)

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have a Airtel Prepaid number on 24 of May i have reacharged with 450 Rs. Airtel GPRS voucher to activate the mobile office facility on my number, according to the confirmation from Airtel they told that the service will be activated within 48 hours that mean till 26. But Yet the service is still not activated. After asking the reason they only said wait for next 24 hours. After 24 hours i have not got the activation,
again i asked to Airtel customer care, they again told me that you will get the service within next 24 hours but hopelessly no activation yesterday i again called them, they again gave me 24 hours to wait. Still the result is same, NO ACTIVATION, Now i am hope less, please help me.

Airtel GPRS service — rejection of sim

DearSir/Madam
I have sim in my name whose no. is [protected](airtel).The sim got invalid automatically on 14/5/2011.When I contacted airtel customer care I was told that ur sim got invalid due to lack of identity proof.But how is it possible as I was using the same for last 8 months
and it is very frank to say that I have submitted the identity proof [ passport photo+epic xerox copy] twice but airtel deleted my sim no.without any prior message.That sim had balance of rs.98/- [gprs pack] and I bore the loss and the lady receptionist did n't respond to the complaint only told 'I can't do anything .'If this kind of customer service continues ,the day is n't far when people will start saying 'Bye Bye' to airtel .

    Hi,,,

    I have a prepaid airtel connection...my no.. [protected]..i did a topup recharge of 55Rs on 19th at 6.00 pm..and another 55Rs top up at 9.10 pm...i did not get the balance of 55 Rs which i did at 9.00 pm so i called customer care ..Spoke with Durga Prasad who said he was a supervisor...and said they cannot tell the reason right now have to call after 48hrs ..i called the after 3 days...the same guy said u got the balance ..and u used it..i kept on repeating i did not use the balance i did not get it...when i asked him can u tell me what no.s i called using that balance ..he had no answer and hung up on me...i again called spoke to him again..he kept me on hold for 1/2 and hour...and came back and was very rude i recorded the conversation..he again disconnected the call...i called back again..again he kept me on hold for 20 min..cam eback stating ..sorry i am able to see u got the recharge done but did not recive the balance ...he said he will mark a mail ..and i will get a balance in 48 hrs...i asked him to give me a reference no..he said he cannot...i called 2 days later spoke to a guy named ashwani sharma he said he was a supervisor ...he said i have not done any topups since 8thdec 2007...although since 8th dec i have done atleast 10 times recharge..that means that guy durga deleted all my topup information...i again recorded this conversation...my mom is not well..and i have to use my phone regularly...that day i kept that top up for emergency..but because of Airtel pathetic and disgusting customer service...i was not able to make urgent call...i had to run to the std to make call...all this happened becos of a company that is doing so badly with customers they treat their customers as animals...i want airtel to be completely to be banned from india...they r stealing peoples money..and i am going to consumer court for this and i will make sure ..i take those two peoples job..and sue airtel...or request trai to ban it completely...and i have all the proof in my cell to get this company out of business and tell everyone what is going on ...this has happened to me..and i am sure this will be the case with other people as well...i will take my recorded converstion in court..i will not spare this company...it is not the question of money...its integrity

    My name is pritam panchal, last november 2007 i bought a airtel prepaid no in rajasthan, dungarpur(dist), town sgawara.my no. [protected], some month it worked, now my no is not working in last one month, withot information my line disconect why ?, my mobile show me "SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED". PLZ check and restart my no as soon as possible.

    top-up card — about disgusting service

    well iam saying this 200% confidently dat in INDIA Smart GSm was the most disgusting service provider...i was very disappointed while using this card.

    iam saying this to the chairperson of this company dat this company has the most lower level services of their call centers..the Excutives in the call centers are so rude to the customers & they even dont know the answers of the asked questions..

      pleas tapping my mobile
      My airtel mobile phone bearing number [protected] is being tapped for the last 2 years and some unwanted elements who are tapping my phone leave comments, about the calls which i made in an indirect manner and try to follow wherever i go using the conversations i make using this phone. I know that some employees are conniving with this so called unwanted elements, to scuttle my plan and activities by doing this kind of illegal tapping of the phone. I know that it is not the police dept who is behind this because if it were by them they would have found evidence, if i had violated any laws, to file charges against me. So I request the authorities concerned in the airtel service providing company to take immediate action to check this illegal activity. my telephone comes under the pathanmthitta/allapuzha jurisdiction in the state of Kerala.It is in the name of my mother Aleyamma Varghese and for the last two and a half years it is being used by me as i am being her son.

        Hi,

        Please let me know if the connection of post-paid (corporate connection) [protected] has been disconnected or not. I have raised a request to disconnect this number after 30 sept 2007 through airtel call center. Later on I e-mailed also regarding this and opened 4 requests (online on www.airtel.in).

        As I am presently not in India, please reply to this E-mail and let me know any information on this. You already have deducted money in Oct, Nov, Dec 2007 and Jan 2008for a mobile connection which I am not using and asked to disconnect. Please return the money you have deducted till now without any usage.

        I still received a e-bill for the month of dec 2007. I don't know how airtel is completeing a single request to disconnecteven after so many reminders.

        Corporate Post paid connection — For dissconnect

        I am not interested to use the my post paid connection of ([protected]) pls kindly deactivate the abowe mentioned mobile no.

        Personal — connection disconnected

        My son R.Ananthanarayanan obtained pre-paid connection at Vadapalani, giving all required documents. The number allotted is [protected]. It worked for about 20 days. Then there was a message saying we should produce the documents for verification. As advised Vadapalani dealer, the documents were handed-over second time at Kodambakkam. No response for 20 days. Subsequently I visited Univercell office at TTK Road and complained. They asked for documents and were given to their satisfaction. After two days connection were restored. Worked for another four days and again got disconnected. Subsequently approached Mr.Abdul at Santhome, and handed-over another set of documents (this is the fourth time, handinv-over documents) who promised to connect on 15th July. I am sorry to state that nothing has been done so far. We are having marriage at home and we are put into lot of difficulties. I have no words to express my feelings for having obtained connection with AIRTEL. When we call on phone there is no response. The funniest part is, in computer this connection number shows some other name. I am failed to understand the system of working.At least on receipt of this message will some responsible person look into my problem and confirm to my phone [protected].         Airtel — Request for SIM disconnection not done

        Dear Sir,

        I had taken a new postpaid SIM no.[protected] for the purpose Internet Browsing through GPRS on 8th Aug '08 from Airtel showroom in South Ext-II, New Delhi.
        But due to the extremely poor quality of service, I had put a written request for disconnection of SIM with immediate effect on 11th aug alongwith the refund of Advance rental(of rs. 500) taken from me.
        Till today, it has not been done. And in addition, I have got a payment Bill for a sum of rs. 63 which is totally unjustified since I was not able to use the services at all.
        Now I want to drag the Airtel Company into Court for justice. Pl guide me, shall I go to Consumer court or Criminal Court?

        Airtel Postpaid M.Phone — harresment by fals identification

        I am avalued customer for last 6 years with atleast 5 Airtel connection for my personal use. I pay average INR 2000 * /M for Airtel bill. last 2007 i changed my one of landline no to a new one and i am paying uptodate bill.
        To my surprise today my wife received a call from one of (xxxxx) giving his identification as from delhi High court saying a case is registered in my name. He gave a number of a lawer. When i contacted the Ph.No to my surprise they said i have an outstanding of INR 1000 against the last phone No. A court order for outstanding of INR 1000 for a custommer who pay average INR2000 and with no outstanding ever..
        I therefore decided to stop all other 4 Airtel phone i am presently using . So be carefull you may be valued custommer but they may put you in jail foe Rs 100 !!!

        Airtel Postpaid Connection — dissconnection

        Sir/Madam,
        I have an airtel post connection from a long time,

        Currently am travelling in MAHARASHTRA for business.

        My complain here is that from yesterday my mobile([protected]) services were dissconnected without any info.
        calling the complaint section they stated that an outstanding of Rs.7700.00 is there.

        My complain is that when I have been provided with a CREDIT LIMIT by AIRTEL of Rs.50, 000.00 HOW can they dissconnect my phone with a small oustanding amount without even informing me ? (how can i take action against Airtel for disconnecting it and claim for loss of my business and reput.)

        Today morning I had to request my younger brother in Rajasthan to go an deposit the money so I get the services.

        Then when after more than 100 calls I was able to go thru there coustomer care number [protected], the calling agent and manager could not satisfy my query regarding dissconnection and my credit limit, so on an heated tone the calling agent/manager tells me to mind my tone, I said you do ur job not tell me what to do and answer my query, There i get a reply "AKE THAPPAR MARUNGE"...I gave her too a nice one..and dissconnected the phone.
        I want a strict action to be taken against them and componsate me for dissconnection and abusive language .
        Now they have activated my phone at 1.12pm and royally and shamelessly are sending me a reference no.[protected] for calling there coustomer care.WHAT A SHAMELESS ACT.

        I am a Airtel post paid user and using the same number for years. I have deposited a cheque at Vasai Regd airtel office for my airtel bill well in advance but unfortunately there is no details of the cheque that where is it? I have got a call from Airtel that that due to non receipt of bill my cell phone will be disconnected in 48 hrs..

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        This is to bring to your kind notice that I have given request to Airtel many times for disconnection of Airtel Postpaid Mobile No.[protected] but they assure me that we will not charge clip amount from you & you can use this number till you plan ends. In this regard I want to share with you that they have charged clip charges from[protected] onwards, after many (minimum 50 call to customer care) calls, they assure every time that you will get SMS in 4 hours and your outstanding will be 0 but till date no resulations has been done. They are making foolish from last 4 months & last 15-20 days I have made so many calls to customer care but no action has been taken till date & also they are not disconnecting this numbers.

        You are requested to please look into the matter & do the needful action at your end.

        Hi, I am not getting any response from airtel after several complaints and request, My Airtel no. [protected] is still active, I lost my sim card and the no. is still active what airtel people are doing, after losts of mails, all are complaints are pending.I am not using this no. from 2 months but still rentals are applied to my bill and number is still active it could be involved in any anti-social activity, please take action against them.

        I had paid my postpaid bill for the number [protected], i have asked the customer care executive Mr. Manoj Patil at Vasai (W) relationship center to disconnect the number & close the account...
        he said he will do it & asked me to pay the billed & the unbilled amount. i paid Rs 1065/- on 9th march 2009, he said i will get my deposit of Rs.500/- within 45 days..., i removed the sim card & kept it in my cupboard...
        i left the center & was waiting for my deposit cheque...
        now on 16th may i got a call from airtel's retention dept saying i have to payRs. 402 the rent for march & april. now as i have not made or received a single call from 9th march till date why should i pay the rent...
        its Mr. Manoj Patil's fault as he has not disconnected my number which he had said he would do...
        instead of paying me interest for delay in my deposit amt, airtel wants to charge rent on a number which was not at all used...
        I have put a mail regarding the same issue to Mr. Abha Gupta he is a nodal officer for mumbai it has been 2 days i have sent the mail he has not replied back, as the cell is always busy...
        AIrtel being such a good brand my family uses airtel phones from many years, if such a thing happens to an old customer then its really time to change the brand i guess...

        Airtel Postpaid Connection — Raising of Bill after disconnection of service

        I, Yashpal Gahlot, had a post paid connection [protected].I had given a request on dated 17.03.09 for termination of this connection & they gave confirmation no. 2104579 dt 17.03.09 & assured that they terminate the connection on dt 23.03.09, They charged the Bill for the whole month (23.02.09 to 22.03.09), but they terminate the connection on the dt 17.03.09.I had paid them all due of month 23.02.09 to 22.03.09. In spite of returning the monthly charge of dated 17.03.09 to 23.03.09, they raise the Bill for the next month period 23.03.09 to 22.04.09.Then I again complained to Airtel customer care & they gave complaint no. 21573154 dt 08.05.09. But they harassing me regularly through post & by Telephone.

        AirTel — Post paid number close

        I used to have airtel post paid connection - [protected].
        I requested to close this number to the customer care. They don't close it and are continuing it. I have stopped using the number since 3 months. Each month they add monthly rental and send a new bill to me. They are saying for closing the number I need to pay the full amount. I have not used it then why should I pay the full amount.

        Airtel Postpaid Connection — Need the returned cheque back

        I had paid the bill for mobile no: [protected] by a Corp bank Chq. Due to technical reasons the chq was returned unpaid. When I approached M/s Kolikara Communications, Ksasargod requesting them to either return or re-present the cheque they are unable to do so. The personnel at the show room do not know where the cheque is or what happened to it. I am getting messages & calls to make the payment.         Airtel — Number wrongly disconnected

        I purchased a prepaid No. ([protected]) from Airtel under lifetime validity. I found that this number was disconnected on 12.1.10. I immediately contacted Airtel.
        They told me that a lifetime no. needs to be recharged for min. 200 Rs in 6 months and a call needs to be made in 90 days.
        I challenged that and told them as per their records a call needs to be made in 180 days (not 90) and I have fulfilled both the above conditions.
        After my sending them a scan of their conditions, they finally accepted that a call needs to be made in 180 days. Then they told me I never made a call during the last 180 days. I told Airtel, that I left India on August 14th and I did make many calls to say bye to my relatives on Aug 14 2009. That is well within the required 180 days. Airtel officers categorically denied that I ever made any calls.
        I challenged them once again by handing them a mp3 file recording of my call (I have a smartphone which records all calls) and also a list of other Airtel nos. that I called on August 14, 2009. Finally, after being challenged again, Airtel accepted that I did make those calls.
        Then, they told me, the reason for disconnection was that my number is not under lifetime validity. So I needed to make calls in 90 days and not 180 days (which is for a lifetime validity number). I again challenged them and produced a scan copy of the Airtel welcome pack, in which it was printed along with the price of the SIM that this number is being offered by Airtel under lifetime validity. I reasoned out with them, that if there is error in their records, then I as a customer should not suffer, as I have proof of purchase of a lifetime validity number.
        All this interaction has been of no avail. I have sent them mails on Jan 13,15, 17, 24, 28,29 – February 6,7,9,10,22 – March 10,14 – April 7,9 – May 9, 18,21 and numerous phone calls.
        I request the consumer court to step in. I have proof of all communication mentioned above.

        I have faced a lot of inconvenience due to this number getting disconnected. I am an NRI and am mostly travelling out of India. This number was my only contact point, every time I landed into India. Also, this number was handed over to all my banks in India and Internationally, and I used to receive SMS on my financial transactions on this number. All that is lost now.

        I want Airtel to immediately restore the same number to me and provide a me monetary compensation of 500000 Rupees due to wrongly disconnecting the number, as well as for all the inconvenience caused to me during the last 5 months where I had to write repeated emails to their customer care and make innumerable phone calls to plead for my case, though in reality, the faults lies with Airtel

        Last year I used Airtel Broadband with landline number 4006229 for around 3 months. In the month of November, I shifted from sec-64, mohali to sec-67, mohali.         I disconnected Airtel postpaid connection as I relocated to US. I had a very bad experience from the airtel customer care. I was told to pay my dues till date and they will stop billing then on. But in my case they kept on billing me for more than a week and I was told that amount will be deducted from my deposit. After conveying multiple times of their mistake, no one even responds to my mails. Also no idea about how the refund of the deposit will happen. They are big cheaters. So please be careful and be aware. They seem to be very nice when you take connection, but not the same when you cancel it.

          I am Airtel Broadband customer([protected]), using the BB services at House no.-642, sector-10, Faridabad -121006. My Broadband connection didn't work for a week so when ever i call for compensation customer service representatives put me on hold and disconnects the call. I got unlimited BB plan i usually got Rs 716(including taxes) bill now i dont how i got outstanding bill of Rs275 whenever i call to get the details same thing happens customer care representatives disconnects the call moreover all the advisors working with Airtel Broadband are incompetent, they hardly know anything about Broadband, they use scripts to help the customers.

            Airtel's customer service sucks. They do not do what they promise. I never get their bills delivered.

            I had asked for a consolidated statement and it never reached me. They could neither send it in mail which they promised to me in 24 hrs.

            They should better spend money on customer deliverables than on advertisements.

            Shame on you Airtel. Get you basics right first.

            Guys, their customer service at agent level is hopeless, I have doubt if they can understand what is spoken and written in English as I had recently faced hell lot of issues and had to waste every day an hour to get things back to normal they have renewed my additional number without any prior intimation and they charged me with fines and had disconnected my main line every day at around 6-7p.m, what they don't understand is I am paying my bills in time and in advance and why they have to disconnect my service at such a time of the day when our family want to get hold o[censored]s back from journey.
            the other silly point is they want to log the complaint only from a prepaid phone as I am a prepaid customer i wonder how to trace a prepaid Airtel customer on the streets and get my issue resolved.

            this is very frustrating on how a company of such a caliber does work and also my point is if i pay the bill one day late they charge me fine are they going to compensate for the time they have put me through.

              I my self Rishikesh Bhatt Mobile Number [protected].Today i:e dated 28/01/2008 around 2:30PM,,,Rs 15 Was deducted from my account having message from airtel that ur scheme for reverse miscall service is activated congratulation,,,as same was not required by me and then i call up customer care to refund my Rs 15 in my account..But airtel executive told that our system is not responding so call after 24 hours we will see what can be done in ur case.After 1 Hour i once again call customer care same reply was given back our system is not working kindly call tomorrow to find out what can be done giving me the Complain Number[protected].

                Reason behind writing this application is to inform you that, how Airtels still continuing the hopeless customer service.
                Last Week, I have received a call from [protected] an Airtel Marketing department's number, That lady has offered me Rs. 299/- monthly Rental Plan, ie., "Corporate Hot Deals" Plan
                Monthly Rental 299
                0.30 airtel to airtel
                0.50/- other networks
                1.00/- STD
                1.00/- incoming & outgoing in Roaming
                So in reply to that call, i told her to give me a call tomorrow means on that last weeks incidence day. But since then i haven't received a call back yet, even i tried to give a call back to the same number, but that shows, "Number is invalid". Then I talk to Customer care 121, received an answer that, Please visit to the gallery for changing the plan.

                > Sent a mail to Nodal Officer Airtel, received a reply that, the registered connection holder should visit to the gallery.
                >Gallery Chembur: Not aware about this plan at all, they are helpless, they replied again call back to the same number, which is impossible.
                Now you people please help me, for this major issue of changing plan, its very much important for me, because with that plan I can use STD facility alot.

                Please help me, with this, or can anyone provide me the right number. where i can easily contact to Airtel's Marketing Department.

                Today i got a call from airtel customer care saying that they have a 199 blackberry data plan on limited period offer instead of 299 data plan with 10 mail accounts and unlimited messenger accounts. I asked them to send the details to my mail. After this there is no response from airtel, also i am not able to reach them.

Duplicate sim fee, lekin airtel office wale mujhe bina sim no. k duplicate sim issue nahi kar rahe aur mere pass sim no. bhi nahi hai, abhi problem yeh hai k ,naa toh main apna no. change karna chahta hoon, aur waise bhi airtel ki service se main satisfied hun, aur kisi aur company ka sim lena nahi chahta, so. It’s a urgent request k 5 din se main airtel ki vajeh se pareshaan ho gaya, aap please mere ko duplicate sim issue kardo,aap ki job hi documentation hai,who mere pass complete hai,even k main ICICI Bank ki statement bhi de raha hun ,jis se mera phone no. aur address bhi confirm ho sake k main is no. ka owner hun. So plz mujhe jaldi se reply kijiye, aur duplicate sim issue kijiye, aur mere ko airtel office se yeh bhi bola gaya hai k, agar sim no. nahi hai FIR ki copy le ke aao,jab mera sim mere pass hai, toh FIR ka ka matlab.

                  Airtel prepaid mobile — repeated marketing calls to me

                  I am annoyed with repeated phone calls from airtel service itself. I want to get rid of this.

                  I have been using AIRTEL number for last 3 years. I never had any problem with airtel services.
                  This time i lost my mobile and sim. I went to near by AIRTEL office(sector-14, gurgaon) and asked them about duplicate sim. Now its been a month & yet have not got the sim even after number of visits to office.
                  Please look into the issue.

                    Dear Concern,

                    Request you to kindly put forward the case infront of the the concerned Customer Service team.

                    1st . The Airtel Executive Miss Sweta , operating from Bhau Plaza , Airtel Office Jammu misbehaved with the customer. The executive really dont know how to interact with the customer and rather than trying to understand the issue was shouting on the customer and was trying to insult the person which is not at all accepted.
                    Just a brief for the team to understand.

                    I recharged my airtel no [protected] from airtel showroom from Jammu worth Rs 300 (date right now , i dont remember) and got the credit of 200 Rs . It was done by executive Miss Shweta only. So the total amount credited to my a/c was 220 ( 200 + 20 grace Rs from sim , which i purchased from an agent worth Rs 150. ) . The validity of my sim was till 30th Jan08.

                    Since on the Airtel sim voucher few features were mentioned and none of the same got credited to my account , so i dropped in at Airtel office and discussed the same with executive Mr Sunil Singh on 14 Jan 08 and made him understand the whole querry for which he registered my request and provided with the reference no as CBTFS[protected] and assured that by 23rd Jan 08 , the request will be proccessed and executed. And along with that suggested that after that you can opt for Super life time plan , just to make sure sim life long. Keeping the executive's word I waited till 23rd Jan , but unfortunately till the time it was not proccessed and because of which i was in delima as if its not worked out then I may have to loose the features and my sim validity.

                    2nd. Again when i approached the office and explained the querry to the officer Miss Shweta , she interacted with me in an awful manner.
                    Officer none of the Customer Service Executive is authorized / been guided by the team to behave in such a manner to any of the customer under what soever is the circumstance.

                    I request the team to please take up the issue on priority and look into the same and henceforth make sure that the Customer Service Executives are well in their senses while they are talking to the customers .

                    Request you to please look into the same and provide me the justice.

                      Myself Dinesh arora, even more than 3-months have passed since registered on NDNC; reference number "S[protected]"
                      for my mobile no- [protected],
                      on 19-October-2007 ,but this disturbing nuisance is not stopped by airtel in any way as they continue with there promotional-telemarketing calls and messages in a live and hearty manner as it has been going on from past more than 2 years

                      I have called airtel customer care 'n' number of times and
                      have send several emails to airtel customer care, in resend past
                      ,but they lie every time with some or other new story and
                      have not responded or implemented "DND" on my mobile no.
                      All this "DND"-policy implementation is for show and is fake in reality as these bas####s didn't care

                      yes dnd is i started getting more call after registering DND
                      same problem i m facing from last 2-3 months, even after activation of DND i m still receiving msgs, calls from AIRTEL and others, so many times i called customer care and given all the no. to them but no action been taken against anybody. now i really fed up by this pathetic service provided by AIRTEL. at present i m facing problem in attending calls, network, i m nt able to contact customer care from my no. i think they blocked the service, PATHETIC SERVICE AIRTEL, KEEP IT UP,
                      After long back I registered to DND but sorry to say that I am still getting such SMSs, so please dont send such type of marketing SMSs except Airtel Offers.

                        I Balwant Singh Negi holding a FIVE landline connections in our Vaishali office from the very begining I'm getting a problem in the services.The sales person who gave us the connection (Rahul Sharma) also not able to solve the problem.In the begining we are holding THREE connections than he suggest us the CALL HUNTING options as we are into a buisiness of 24x7 we are running a Travel Agency we always have to connect with our clients.For the last few weeks we are getting a problem in CALL DIVERT as the Vaishali office close in the evening we divert all are calls on the other numbers.                         From 1 week the landline is not working, for which numerous complaints have been registered with local authorities but there is no positive response from there side and no one has still visited our organization to resolve our problem.We are not defaulters and are paying our due amount regularly.                           Sub : unsetisfaction with the customer care officer of Airtell



                          My Mobile no is [protected].I had call to customer care office to ask about my land line call rate...They told me that your call rate is 1 rs/min.

                          After that I call my friend on [protected] whis is a bsnl landline no.And my talk is 45 seconds.But I pay 1.80 rs.

                          After this complication I again call them and ask about this they told me "It is our mistake and we will send you your .80 paise back in 24 hours...After talk with them I again Call on same no and talk for 9:30 minutes...And the charge is diplayed 18 rs..

                          After that I again talk with the executive officer and he told me that you have same rate 1.80 rs/minute and we can not give your money back...

                          I want a legal solution this..How can I complain against AIRTEL?

                          I have talk with the lots of person named ARCHANA , Mohit of airtell customer care..I dont remember all the names.

                          I realy need a solution.And i have faith in my government...Plz solv my problem as fast as possible...

                          Why not to apply for Airtel IPTV connection?

                          What all challenges you have to face the installation?

                          Purpose of writing an email to escalate the inconvinience which is caused to Airtel customers from your marketing team's fake commitment.

                          Some how I came to know you the right person to escalate about the issue caused to airtel's IPTV customers.

                          Sir, I have applied the connection on 26th Aug morning on the term that I need connection to be installed before the match between India and Sri Lanka. One of your Marketing executive Mr. Pradeep[protected] along with Mr. Navin had approached me in this regards. Before giving the cash, I strictly told them that please do not give me any fake commitments, if you cannot make it then please be frank and I will continue with my DTH connection. Secondly they misguided me the wrong plan, I told them I don't want my Internet speed to be down at any cost as I need to work on VPN and need to download heavy data for my work.

                          Once the form has been filled by me or any CSR, it CSR job to chase your executive about the connection. From 27th I guess I have made 150 calls to Mr. Pradeep and he has answered hardly any 5 to 10 calls and rest of the time he ignored my calls.

                          How one feel, time change in a day, the day before he was chasing me to fill the form and now I am chasing him day and night to get IPTV installed.

                          Till now connection has not been installed at my place and I am chasing Mr. Manish[protected], who I guess is leading the team and from past Sunday I am relying on his fake commitments.

                          Nitin, I just request you to define your process, restructure your team and at least be honest with your customers.

                          I am really not excited about the IPTV now as I was few days before

                          One more request I want this to be escalated as per bharti procedure and I want proper feedback on this.

                          If I am disappointed here also then I will escalate to more higher authorities...

                            I am using the Airtel Post Paid No [protected] . onwards from December 2005. This was activated on December 2005.


                            I regular paid the bill as per the Bill received by me from Airtel . My bill always comes under the Rs. 500. And as per the Airtel My credit Limit is fixed as Rs . 1500/- . and my bill was never crossed the credit limit as I always use the bill below Rs. 500/- .

                            I used this Airtel Post paid no. regularly from December 2005 and regular check the amount of bill during my bill period.

                            On 16th day of January , when I was checking the Bill amount from customer care Executive( the “CCE” ) . It was shocked to me that the Bill amount stated by the CCE was very much high for me. After the enquired from the CCE , I came to know that the bill amount was very high due to the ICD calls .

                            But the fact is that, I never activate the ISD call Facility on my Post Paid connections. And, my credit limit was fixed by the Airtel was Rs.1500 /- but as per the CCE of the Airtel bill[protected] amount was shown as around RS 3500.

                            It was shown to me false itself as per the fixation of Credit limit ., whenever the bill cross the Credit limit the Message and call from the CCE started to make the interim payment and I have not received any single call from the CCE o f Airtel .


                            It was again shocking for me to received the Bill no. dated 22/1/2208 sent by airtel amount of Rs /- . Which shows the credit limit of Rs 1500/- as per the Billl . .


                            But still the bill amount sent by the Airtel shows Rs . /- . And the CCE of Airtel regularly calling me and forcing me to make the payment of wrong bill , which is not mine.

                            I am lecturer by the Profession. As per the record of my statement , my bill amount never crossed the Credit Limit . I never activated the ISD facility on my post paid connection . I never made any ISD call from my Number .

                            So, sent me the correct bill which help me the make the payment .

                            Revert me as earliest possible. Kindly do the needful for me and solve my grievance against the Airtel.

                            Airtel — Wrong ISD call bill

                            Sir,
                            I am Jitendra Jain, my previous mob no. was [protected]. My mob. bill was around 9500 for bill period 26/09/2008 to 25/10/2008. It was showing ISD calls of 7920. I had not done these calls even I had not asked Airtel to activate ISD call facility. Airtel itself activated ISD call facility on my mob and I had no information about that. I had complained to Airtel person but no action was taken.

                            In December one person, named Nitin from Airtel offered me to pay Rs. 4000 to settle down the matter and when I rejected this, he told me that I (me) could not do any thing as I had no proof and threatened me to fine more. So I pay 4000, and on receipt they written Full and final and a/c closed.

                            But after that in every 15-20 days they often forced me to pay the rest of the amount, when I told them about the settlement they said that it is not valid.

                            From last 6-7 months they have forced me several time to pay and it is quite disturbing for me as they always phoned to me when I was in meeting or in my company busy in work.

                            I have the receipt and I want that Airtel should pay back the money as they have taken it force fully and using a trap saying that they will settle down the matter.

                            There unwillingness to address complains for wrong bills is well known. Now they send bills wiht high amounts to ensure that you get into a dispute with them and that you do not have a clear bill. As such your protability is blocked. So you either stick to them or you opt for a new number with another service provider.

                            Pathetic and corrupt practices are some doft adjectives for this service provider.

                            airtel / Cellphone — Wrong Bill

                            I Bought a number from airtel with advance rental for two years, after 1 year o[censored]sing the phone i decided to change number. After some time i started getting calls from airtel on the registered number asking for reasons of not using the number & i always told them that i will not be using the number in question. Then they asked us if they can give the number to someone else & we told them to go ahead. I even sent them a mail on their official mailing address to discontinue the services. After one year they renewed the contract without our knowledge and now a lawyer has sent us a letter on behalf of airtel asking us to pay or we have to appear in court.
                            Please I do not know how my device made ISD calls to Tunisia, Papua New Guinea, Washington, London and Urugua totalling Rs. 3118/-.

                              Ihave taken Airtel prepaid connection([protected]). Last month I got some SMS saying I had rquested for some background music which i never did and changed 20 Rs and once again charged Rs 10 for changing the background music.

                              By the time I read all the SMSs already Rs 30 has been deducted from my account. I tried contacting the customer care people to know why these happened without my knowledge, and refund the money back. They lorged a complait for this( reference no [protected]) to cancel the service if there is any thing activated with my number and refund my money.

                              I thought at least they have done all these things. But neither my money is refunded to my account nor the service been deactivated from my number.

                              Now again I got a SMS saying Rs 20 is going to be deducted from my account being using the service for background music .. again I lodged a complaint ( reference no: [protected]).

                              Am not sure If its being done or not. As I dont have time to keep track of this.

                              This is really too much .. These AIRTEL people are eating up our money like anything without our knowledge. I am coping all the SMSs i have got below.
                              Its not only happening with me. They are doing this wiht many people. As we are not having time to handle and keep track of these things. they take advantage of that.

                              First one came from "64611020" which is like "welcome to Airtel BackGround music Dial 777 $the 10 digit mobile number to talk with your favirite music in the background call 543214 for the latest music" time : 20:55:42 ( 8Th Jan 2008) from massage center :[protected]. Which I never read when it came.

                              At time:21;03:55 I got another SMS from 543214 which says "Congratulations you have subscribed to background music and Rs 20 has been charged" now talk to anyone with your favorite music on background just dial 57775 from msg center :[protected].

                              at time : 21:03:55 I got another SMS from 543214 which says "To make call using TUNEY TALK just add 777 before the ten digit number you want to call. Like[protected] if you are calling on [protected]" from msg center :[protected].

                              at time; 21:15:53 I got the SMS from 64611010 saying Thank you for using Airtel Services! Download and win Hundai I10http:/203.200.118.92/airtel/wincar only on airtel live"

                              at time: 21:24:06 Got the SMS from 543214 saying "The background Music has been changed as per your request and Rs 10 has charged. Now dial 777 etc .... "



                              On Feb - 4th 2008 got the SMS

                              from 543214 saying " Dear customer your monthly subscription on airtel background music service will be renewed in next 72 hrs. monthly charges Rs20 keep enjoying.

                              These are the senior authorities in Airtel. Secondly we suggest that we all together send complaits to cosumer protection and ensure that they file a case against Airtel and we get our money back.                                 Airtel accepted a reversal of late payment fee after months of negotiations after I stopped payment of the monthly bill. However, by the time the issue was sorted out, the payment was delayed and so, there is again this late payment fee appearing on my bill every month. I was told that this would be taken care of in the next bill but nothing has been done though it is several months.

                                It is really very unfortunate that we do not have regulators in India who can fix these crooks (whether it is Airtel or Reliance, they are all the same). However, I don't see any hope since there is complete and absolute regualtory capture by these humongous organzations. Unless the regulators are pulled up sharp by the Minister in charge, nothing will change and they will continue to fleece tens of millions of poor mobile users who don't even relaize how their hard-earned money is being looted by the service providers.

                                I am absolutely disgusted with this company and do not where to turn for redress of my grievance but would like to warn everyone who wishes to deal with them to think very carefuly before committing themselves. Please remember that once you are hooked, it is very difficult to get out.                                 Airtel Broadband and Telephone — STD Circle issue

                                Dear Sir,
                                I am residing in Vaishali, Ghaziabad which comes in NCR and having a landline no[protected]. I have done some calls to Gurgaon in last month where Airtel has charged me 30Second per call. As per my knowledge Gurgaon is in the range of 50Km and should e locally called from here so the call should be of 3 minute but when I have called the customer care about this they have simply told that Gurgaon is STD and they were not ready for any further discussion on this issue. Please look into this matter as even with BSNL Gurgaon is local call of 3 Minute while Airtel is charging for 30 second per call.

                                Hi Team,

                                • I used to use Airtel Broadband 5 months ago. The number is[protected].
                                • The account’s due were cleared then and account closed, have not used service more than 5-6 months
                                • I am using MTNL now
                                • On 14th January 2009, I had a make a payment to MTNL, by error I Made it to Airtel
                                • Transaction made through ICICI CREDIT CARD ending with 9014, through Net Banking, Rs. 1,322.00
                                • I called Airtel Customer care:
                                1. On 18th January at 12:23, Ticket number 28626592. Resolution: (Amount will be refunded Via cheque within 21 days + Call Back)
                                2. On 19th January at 11:41, Ticket number 28660150. Resolution: (Refund cheque under process wait for 21 days + Call Back)
                                3. On 29th January at 14:02, Ticket number[protected]. Resolution: (Refund cheque dispatch to my correct address)
                                4. On 9th February at 16:26, Ticket number[protected]. Resolution: (Please wait for 21 days)
                                5. On 18th February at 13:45, Swati Picks the call, I ask for supervisor, she hangs up
                                6. On 18th February at 14:02, Ahmed Picks the call, I ask for supervisor, Transfers to Zeba(Sup), she takes permission to place the call on hold & hangs up
                                7. On 18th February at 14:20, Wasim Picks the call, I ask for supervisor, Transfers to Banish Siddique (Sup), he takes permission to place the call on hold, puts on hold for a minute and then hangs up

                                I am left clueless so as to how to take it further. I was promised callback for all tickets, but never received a call back. No cheque received. Can you please help me, to get it channelized to the correct department/person. It is a shear torture.

                                  Respected Sir/Madam,

                                  I am using airtel connection more than 3 years, since past 3 years i see airtel cheats everyone in india. In such a way they use marketing tactics get customer and cheat them.

                                  It was my 4th time i was cheated by airtel about false information.

                                  1. The first time happened that on my mobile roaming charges of Rs 50 were deducted while I was in Delhi and had not even gone to Noida/Ghaziabad. When I called customer care the person on the other side told thattheir network is showing that I changed state, on enquiring which state did I went he said that it is confidential and he can not tell and I will not be credited of Rs 50.

                                  2. The other time was I was provided Hello tune though I had never opted for one and my account balance was reduced by Rs. 45. When contacted customer care thay said some other person in your home must have opted for. But why would other person use my phone and opt for hello tune as I was student then and was living in hostel and never gave my phone to any one else. So for removing the tune had to cal on 678 and pay more Rs 6/min to get it removed.

                                  3. Last week again I noticed that my balance is getting reduced by more than Rs 2 per day and when I contacted customer care they say that I have activated SMS pack on 4th dec 2007 and my balnce is getting reduced by Rs 2.60 per day. All this happened without even my knowledge. Ieven said that once my balance gets finished this time I am going to discontinue Airtel services for which the person replied its upto you sir to continue or not.

                                  4. I keep on receiving unwanted calls like advertisement mesaages and calls from Airtel though I have sent the messages of do not disturb to Airtel and have even told the customer care directly about it.

                                  Also I came to know that if you call more than 20 times to customer care in a month for complaints your number is blocked and you can not call customer care again for some time. As my number has been blocked several times and had to call them through other people's mobile.

                                  From the above I have come to conclusion that 'airtel knowingly does everything ' and 'airtel is the clever cheater'.

                                  I am using a airtel landline, tel no[protected]. I was surprised when i got a bill for some premium no which we never used. i gave 7-8 complaints to the customer care but failed to make them understand. As per the call details shown by them the premium no dialed is only for 3min8 sec. Still they give different excuses , every executive give different reply and try to make there side right. One executive from airtel bill collection visited personally and was able to understand the real problem and agreed the fault of the bill, but there is no response from airtel.

                                  My telephone is debarred from last 2 month and I am facing problem in my business, and the airtel company is still generating there bills. I ask the company why are they giving this kind of premium nos on our telephone when we have not asked for it? They have installed a money making machine which has no locking facility.

                                  I have to say that my Internet broadband connection (of monthly plan – Rs. 450/-) for that I was applied on 5th – June – 2007 and I have completed all the formalities to Mr. A. K. Anand ([protected]) from Reliance with cash payment of registration and installation charge – Rs. 500/- and , received a receipt from him, after many complaint to Mr. A.K. Anand and H.O., Gomti Nagar, Lucknow wiring was installed very late on 7th – August – 2007 and no modem installed yet. So, I am not able to connect to the Internet.

                                  I also complaint many times to Mr. Sarad Asthana ([protected]) - Reliance and Mr. Vishal ([protected]) - Reliance, but they didn’t nothing yet and now I don’t need their connection. And my money is not refunding by Reliance Communication Ltd H.O., Gomti Nagar.

                                  So, do something about that because I want my money back in any circumstances before I committed a fraud case and claim on Reliance Communication Ltd for compensation.

                                  i am also trapped with airtel. their charges are hidden, i have broadband+landline connection. ie.. if they normalise their rates on voice plan as per BSNL, then they increase the tariff for Broadband, & vice versa. no where u can get a comparable rates & service with BSNL.
                                  in my opinion their plans & charges keep on changing so to make fool of comman man.
                                  as for example the rent of landline of Bsnl starts from 180 and for airtel it is minimum is 275...and lots of difference in ISD call rates...Bsnl charges per pulse & airtel charges per minute that the difference....in long run Airtel proves to be around 30-40% expensive in BSNL...well Tata's indicom policy is very good. their rates & service are comparable to reliance..but Airtel charges are too much....check ur billing guys.....

                                  I Vinod Mane had purchase a government card (Airtel) 2years before, as per your rules there was increase in tariff before it was 10 paise A TO A, A TO O.M 30 paise, but it was increase now A TO A, 25 paise, A TO O.M 50 paise. This changes have been done only for few customer not for whole customer who have same plan card more then 1 year pass but not changes has till done.I have call to your customer care but they always tell work in progress how long it will take i dont know .

                                  Service was restored on above phone on 20th afternoon, after repeated complaints with your call centre.

                                  All services on the phone have been disconnected once again on 22nd evening. We contacted your call centre today morning, and we were informed that services have been suspended again because of address verification and that our application form is not traceable and told us to visit relationship centre and submit application once again.

                                  This is absolutely shocking, it seems we have been picked up for continuous harassment for no rhyme or reason whatsoever.

                                  The application (it was second application for your information, we were told first application is not traceable)was picked up by your sales staff from our office and in next 3/4 days, your officials visited us for verification purposes and all his quarries were provided to his satisfaction.

                                  Now please tell us how many times we have to submit application and how many times the verification process takes place.

                                  Now we are sick in lodging our complaints repeatedly and nothing moving to sort out and close this issue once for all.

                                  We are lodging a complaint with police today for being cheated for not providing promised services after we have paid Rs 36000 for the i-phone.

                                  We are also planning to proceed to CONSUMER ADDRESSAL COURT for deficiency of service.

                                  We are simply appalled at the treatment we are getting in your hands.

                                  I agree with Airtel. It can better be called as WorseTel. I have been using this for the past 3 years. Just in the name of coverage i changed from my previous provider to this provider. First the problem came with signalling. When called to the Customer care they tool your mobile might be the problem. I tried with another service provider on the same mobile it is coming accurately till today. But not from Airtel. I don't know which mobiles are suitable for Airtel People. So i changed my mobile piece and tried if it could be any reason as one of my friend told to do so. Still today i am facing network coverage problem. There innumerable call drops in the April to September 2007 which i faced. Now i am facing it at a less rate but for important calls it is costing me. It is severe in the evenings and network connectivity to others is dismal. You can't explain when you want to make an emergency call or courtesy call.

                                  I tried it in the year 2002 also. People outside the city could reach me, but the people inside the city could not reach me. My father was trying to reach me who is some at a 20km distance. But could not reach me. Message "the customer has switched off his mobile". Today they have changed the message to some meaningful one.

                                  Better don't go by advertisements and the number of peoples who are opting for. It is the worsttel.

                                  Airtel — fraudulent cutting of talk time

                                  1. I Major Deepak Joshi had got my airtel prepaid
                                  cellphone recharged for Rs 500 on 13 Dec 08 at 09:52 Hrs . i was given a
                                  talk time value of Rs 443. My transaction id was[protected]. i had Rs 13
                                  balance in my acct and the total was Rs 456 .

                                  2. i was in mumbai and the last call i made was at 1330 hrs for a
                                  duration of 3 mins on 13 Dec 08 and afer that the balance was Rs 453.
                                  then after there was no call made by me and i only received a call at 1610
                                  hrs and the call lasted for 1 min. after i finished that call the balance
                                  displayed to me was RS 95 ONLY.

                                  3. I did not subscribe to any services of airtel and there is no reason
                                  for which my balance could have been deducted. i faced a lot of
                                  inconvinience and could not make important phone calls which has costed me
                                  dearly.

                                  4. i am continuously trying to contact your customer care however they
                                  are of no help and claim that your servers are down. pathetic services is
                                  the word used for airtel services. i wont ever use airtel again and wont
                                  even suggest anyone to use airtel

                                  5. i request you to kindly resolve my issue at the earliest
                                  6. the fraudelent cutting of talk time must be stopped to avoid
                                  in-convinience to customers.

                                  As per this plan I can use unlimited internet @384 KBS for a month.

                                  In the month of February 2009, airtel has included an extra charge
                                  of Rs 199 (+ service Tax) in the name of some "DSL Usage Charge".
                                  When I looked into the details of the bill, it says that it's been charge
                                  for some "Gaming" service.

                                  I checked with customer care, and they told me that I have used some Game-On-Demand
                                  service on 2nd Feb 2009. I told them that I have no idea whatsoever about this
                                  service and there is not even a slightest possibility that I would have used
                                  this stupid service of Airtel.

                                  They have taken my complaint and I am waiting for this thing to be resolved this
                                  and revert the charges in my bill.

                                  Airtel Cheating people (not connecting) — Doing fraud business

                                  This time I have become victim of airtel fraudsters. I have been charged Rs.60 (four sms's in 3 months time) "for downloading animation from Airtel Live WAP" WHICH I NEVER DEED. I dont know on what basis they sent me this sms. First time I ignored this sms but after receiving this sms's four times I thought to call the customer care service people, but the way they chat with me it seemed that they are doing this things intentionally to generate the revenues for the company. Though the amount is small but if such tactics are being used on thousand or millions of people on regular basis then you can just imagine the growth in their revnues.

                                  Now the time has come to seriously think over this issue by telecom regulator and should seriously punish this type of companies.

                                  I am just writing this message to aware those people who have become victim like me to unite and fight for the wrong things done by the company.
                                  I Purchased a new Airtel Mobile Post paid Connection : [protected] on 18th Aug 2009.

                                  I beleive that there is Fraudulent activity against me from Airtel / Airtel reseller

                                  Some one from Airtel, The Person name was Ashok and I believe he was from Karshni Solution as it is written on receipt took my self attested documents and Rs500 against a new mobile connection: [protected]. In return they provided me receipts with fake number on it which either does not exist or no one answer these phone.

                                  The no. [protected] belongs to some one named Subhash as per the information provided by 121 Airtel customer care.

                                  I beleive that my documents are miss used, as no one returned my documents or Rs 500 and same phone number is active but with some one else.

                                  No apology for this misconduct by Airtel or their representatives. also they blocked my other no. i was calling them from.

                                  what are my options here, should i inform police, as i dont want some one on my door after couple of months creating scene as my documents are in wrong hands

                                  i agree with mr rajnish bodkhe complaint, I am also one of culprit of airtel mobile, i m trying to activate gprs setting on my mobile for that i had call on customer care number - they reply pls send sms on 52567-and write MO in capital latter, pls sending sms i haven’t received gprs service .

                                  And still i m not able to use gprs due to same, in this case at least customer care executive they should give callback to customer and ask whether the problem has been solve or they required assistance .
                                  I am having booster pack with validity of 90 days. I went for recharge but the gave me another booster pack and I did not know about all these boosters / enhacers crap etc. So I called customer service to take that money (rs 123) and transfer it to talk time but the customer service refuse to do that and cut the call immediately. Airtel sucks...

                                  My name is Ranjith kumar using Airtel for last four years. On 14/12/2009 I went to a retailer for activating one month GPRS Pack facility to my number([protected]). He asked me to pay Rs.99 & I got sms from airtel ie., Recharge Successful with TransID:[protected]. Once I confirmed this paid amount to the retailer and went to home. After that I'm not received any settings or activation for GPRS on my mobile. I called to Customer care immediately, They said that In Airtel they wont have any pack for Rs.99 & GPRS pack is Rs.95. Then asked him then why should confirm me through SMS and for what purpose you are deducted. He said You are activated for Roaming Pack thats why. Suddenly I turn to the catalog and the Roaming Pack in Airtel is Rs.43. at there. I asked about it, Then he Sorry Sir, You will be contacted by our Senior officer within 24 hours.He will provide a resolution for your complaint I registered it now.
                                  I called again the Customer care after 24 hours, then ask about my issue they simply told me definitely your problem resolved by the next 24 hours. I called them third time thru my number they simply blocked my number to call the customer care. Bcoz whenever I try to contact the customer care, The recorded voice told that pls send SMS to 121 our customer support executive will call u. I called the Customer care again thru another Airtel number and they told my your compliant already in process, dont make call hereafter for customer care, we provide resolution within 24 hours.

                                  Till now I cant get any resolution from Airtel.

                                  The customer support from Airtel now days not satisfied & also different response from different executive.

                                  One said to me u go and ask ur retailer his amount will be refunded.
                                  Another one said ur activated with roaming pack.but the roaming pack value is Rs.43
                                  Another Said, Our higher officer provide you a resolution within 24 hrs.

                                  Let me know, How many days I want to wait for your resolution?

                                  this seems to be the way airtel makes profit - by activating services customers do not request and squeezing all their money. i experienced the same problem too.

                                  I Airtel subscriber of prepaid mobile no. [protected] would like to bring to your notice that a fraud and cheating racket is being run by suspected Airtel telecallers from your Malad corporate office at Interface.
                                  I say this on the basis of the fact that I have been a victim of one such fraud. One of your telecallers Mr. Hetal Jain called me from Airtel mobile no.[protected] on Friday 08/10/10 and explained to me about a certain Super lifetime scheme being offered by Airtel. When I showed interest he askeed me for my address so that he could send over the talk boy to collect the subscription fee of Rs.500/-.
                                  The next day I recieved another call from Airtel no. [protected] confirming my address and time of availability. The talkboy (Mr. Adnan Shaikh) came, collected the money and left after giving me a customer relationship form as a receipt. Since then nothing has happened and I've come to know from your helplines and galleries that I've been cheated.
                                  My only request to you is that please stop this racket (allegedly by company insiders) which being done in the name of Airtel by duping existing Airtel customers of money by offering false schemes. If not controlled this will bring a bad name to your company and henceforth people will lose faith in any scheme launched by the company.
                                  I request you to look into this racket and stop people from being cheated.

                                  Yes I surely agree that airtel is fraud company. I am using airtel many years. But now they are cheating with customers. They are activating services directly without any knowledge about customer. And when we are calling to customer care they are saying that you started services, they always bleming on customer, they not accept that machine can make mistake. From may days they are charging daily 1 rupees and when i asked why they charged, they are saying this or that service activated, even i told them to stop service, next day new services starting automaticaly. I have free sms scheme, even they are charging for sms. So this is not a way to earn money. Its all fraud.

                                  after 1 week evening hour i got a another message that informing 15 rs has deducted from your account for air tel live. suddenly i called 121 & informed matter on 3 June 2011 they register the complaint,

                                  & they said on 7 June 2011 you will receive call or message informing the details. so i called on 7 june, in lunch hours, they said the information has passed you to morning hour only. & said on 2 june @ 3;20 form ur phone air tel live has been active d. & i said i dint know what is the use of airtel live i want my money i account. they said there is no way to deposit 15 rs. if you have any clarification come to our office @ begum pet Hyderabad. said by lady DON from AIR TEL his name is VIJAYA KUMARI.

                                  Airtel indulges in innumerable frauds. It is surprising that This company has remained out of the scam news that has involved other telecom companies. It is doing routine frauds. For example, I deleted 'Downloads of Games' from my mobile for which I am using Airtel service. These rascals sent me a message saying You have been charged Rs.10/- for down loading games, at such and such speed, etc. Another fraud was, a message saying Airtel (or some fraudulent fake astrologer marketing his foul services to phone subscribers) is happy I have subscribed to their Astrology services. I never believe in Astrology even if I pretend to do so, in order to keep company of so many who believe, nor do I plan my daily routine, looking at astrological "forecasts" since I use my own brains and some guidance from knwledgeable people. The astrologer who is supposedly using Airtel is likely to be just a fictitious entity standing for Airtel itself, ign which must be using a huge book of astrological forecasts filled with nonsense to suit different customers, and it must be using this and innumerable other frauds in order to increase its revenue and share price, and then go on to buy the country itself, and perhaps one day sell it to a foreign power. Commercial greed has exceeded all limits and has attained criminal levels, but our democratic government being a total sham, with all its wings being filled with rogues indulging in self aggrandizement, through corruption by misuse of office, we Indians have no recourse for justice.                                   The problem is, in India, most of the industrialists, which includes telecom businessmen, are traditional Mithaiwalas. They nowadays go for business management graduation, but it will take a long, long time for these people to get really professional and do ethical business -- right now, professionalism is a pseudo which is used to do unethical business and make mounains of money, and stash much of it in foreign safe havens, to evade the tax and other laws of the land.                                     I have e-re-charged of Rs 111/- on 16 Jan 2008 and when I saw the balance which has not been reflected, I contacted the above named reference but to my surprise they only assurred me but neither given me my balance nor they have taken cognizance to get it activated, which shows their lackadaisical attitude with the customer.
                                    It is also submitted that till date no confirmation on my balance is given and bound me to take up the case in the knowledge of higher authority of Airtel. Previously also I have made my complaint which is still held in abeyance, the cause is not known.
                                    May I be now acquainted with the balance of my e-recharge and get me all the details forthwith.
                                    If the case is held in abeyance then I am certainly to be compensated for the delay of Airtel administration, otherwise I will have to consult the consumer forum. If the problems still persists I will be forced to unsubscribed the airtel.
                                    Airtel is always broadcasting of good service through TV ad etc whereas there are many victims like me facing the difficulty to get the balance. Your customer care staff be counselled for the irresponsible behaviour and not giving me the identity which requires your clarification immediately.                                     I am a subscriber of Bharti AirTel for last 3 to 4 years. My Airtel number is [protected] (Using this SIM for last one year). I`m happy with your service in the past.

                                    I had made a wrong e-recharge for Rs440/- on mobile no. [protected] instead of [protected] on 14.11.2008, around 1.10PM TXID: 48265928. Since friday (14th Nov) my retail shop person trying to retrieve the amount from the SIM-[protected] (which we made it wrong) through his distributor & also through your airtel personnel. Then we came to know that the no. which we had made wrong recharge is not yet activated and your personnel informed that your system facing problem for retrieving money from deactivated SIM. Onething I could`t understand how your system accepting recharge for the SIM card which is not yet activated.

                                    On 17th Nov-08, I personally had a talk with ur customer care person to sort the problem (ref no.[protected]). As advised by your customer care person, I went to airtel office, Alkapuri, Vadodara on 18th Nov-08 around 7PM. Your personnel had informed that the problem can be sorted out only through retail shop person/distributor. I`m very disappointed with the kind of answer & service provided by the Airtel.

                                    Please take up this issue at top priority. Appreciate your prompt response and action.

                                    I am Pratul from pune using airtel Prepaid my number is : [protected], I have done e-recharge for Rs.150/- on 10-March-2010. before e-recharge my balance was Rs.4./- but after e-recharge I got the message from the alert that recharge successfully.

                                    However when I tried to call, it is telling me that no sufficient.

                                    Now when I'm trying to contact Airtel it is not allowing to call even on free line too.

                                    This is ridiculous...

                                      I woukld like to share my experiance of cheating and fraud by Airtel on my bank's account.
                                      I am having a corporate mobile connection by airtel. I noticed in dec 2007 there was an ECS payment from one of my bank's account for my monthly bill which i had paid already. while enquiring about this ECS payment 121 could not give me any clarification and could not come back at all. After several try they could reply that there was a mistake from there side and they have deactivated the ECS. Actually i had made couple of monthly bill payment earlier by this bank's debit card and this way they could get my account's detail. After several request they could not provide any evidance for ECS payment confirmation by me which eventually they claim for.
                                      Again there is a ECS payment from the same account in the month feb 2008 for the bill which i have already paid. This way i am paying double than the actual bill. This time 121 has declined to take the complain and adviced of the records that they will marke complain status as closed without any rectification as they have done earlier.

                                      Airtel/Post Paid connection — Poor Services and haressments

                                      AA. Poor Services.

                                      01. I have shifted to New Delhi in the Month of March/April’07

                                      02. During this period I have taken two additional post paid Air Tel numbers for my son and wife.

                                      03. Subsequently my son has shifted to VIT, Vellore, Chennai where in I have taken New Air Tel prepaid connection their with Mob [protected].

                                      04. When I wanted to surrender my son Mob number I have made not less than 10 calls and this process took 10 days.

                                      05. Recently I got BSNL land line where in I have taken Broad Band. BSNL has offered the Mob SIM as complementary for the land lime with out rental , activation charges. So I took this connection with Mob [protected].

                                      06. For surrendering/ blocking my Air Tel connection Mob [protected] when I was at Mumbai I called Customer care number 121 I was tolled that I have to call Delhi number. When I called your Delhi number after the process some body comes on line and tells that that is not the corned department I have to call again, when I request him to connect he will say yes but it will get disconnected. It happened four times.

                                      07. Subsequently after reaching Delhi I called your 121. This time again some body tells that there is a different number for this.

                                      08. When I called this number your representative says that he can not take my request since I am calling from corporate number and advised me to call from PCO.

                                      09. Again next day when called your representative informed that your systems are busy in updating and my request have been forwarded it will be disconnected approximately four Hours time.

                                      10. After four days the situation is at squire one. Nothing has been done on this.

                                      11. Subsequently I have requested my administration dept to help me in this regard.

                                      12. After sending the numbers of mails by my adm dept this process has been completed.

                                      13. This whole process took 10 days.

                                      BB. Signal and SMS Massage problems.

                                      01. On 30.10.07 at 3.30 PM I have reached Mangalore Air Port where in I could see number of Air Tel boards. But unfortunately I could not get the Signals.

                                      02. This was continued even after my arrival at Hotel Mothi Mehal which is located in the Hart of the Mangalore City.

                                      03. After I turned off/on my Mob, I have started getting the signals.

                                      04. Since than SMS massages from my Mob was blocked.

                                      05. On 02.11.07 night 12.30 AM when I have landed at Delhi Air Port I could send/receive the massages from my wife’s MTNL Mob.

                                      Summary: From the above I feel that Air Tel might be having the hidden policy to harass the customers who wants to use other than Air Tel, by doing that Air Tel wants to discrage the customers so that they will remain with them and make money out of it.

                                      I personally fell that their should be some professionalism in any business/field and it should be help full to the customers up to the reasonable extant where in Organization can grow in volumetric and also gain the image, instead of that if the organization wants to continue the way thing are happing I feel something wrong some where which needs correction.

                                      By writing this mail by spending my valuable time is that, if these mistakes are happening due the deficiencies in the system or with out management notice it will get corrected, by doing so I hope number customers will be out of the Air Tel suffers list mentally which can not be compared with money.

                                      At the end I would like say one thing which I strongly believe “If every Body thinks what life is. What for one has to make the money? I feel that making money is not the issue but definitely how we make the money is the only issue “

                                      I hope you can understand my feeling and take care of the above shortcoming, especially SMS Massages from my Air Tel number to my MTNL mob number and also from any mob.

                                      01. I am using Air Tel Mob [protected] provided by the company under the corporate group connection.

                                      02. I have MTNL Mob. [protected]. My wife is using this and we are staying at Dwaraka, N D Mostly this being used for SMS Massages.

                                      03. When I was at Gurgoan office SMS Massages were transmitting between these two numbers. On 30.10.07 to 02.11.07 I was at Mumbai, Mangalore, Bangalore and Chennai. During this period SMS Massages were not getting transmitted between these numbers.

                                      04. I have taken up the matter with GGM MTNL where in I have got the conformation that there is no problem at their end and Massages were blocked by Air Tel.

                                      05. Subsequently I spoke to your service center 121 on 02.11.07 when I was at Vellor, Chennai. At 12.25 PM on 02.11.07 I have been given the reference number as[protected] saying that “ we hope that you are satisfied with the resolution provided for your request “.

                                      06. I was at Chennai till 03.11.07 up to 10 PM this problem have not been addressed.

                                      07. I hope you can understand my problem and get it resolved immediately.

                                      Hi all,

                                      This is to bring into the concern of the ghigher atourities of AIRTEL Mobile connections, that the customers are being tortured by their re[presentatives on continual basis.15 days back I took a post paid corporate connection and the representative told me that i will be charged only 280 rental and 1re/STD call and landline, all local mobile calls will be free upto 500 calls per month.But when I saw daily increment in the billable amount I was surprised.I tried to talk to the representatives at121 but after dialing this number 20-30 times when I got to talk to any one rep, they are nill and when they transfer the call to their supervisors they hang up the phone on me.It has happened approx.20 times, one day when my sister called them up they used abusive language, which is really disgusting, this should be taken into account or I will do something serious about it

                                      Airtel India postpaid connection — SMS fecility is not working

                                      sir, i am having post paid connection([protected]).there was a problem with my airtel connection in sms. i can't send sms from mine. but messages are comming.
                                      initially i thought that the problem will be over automatically after some time. but nothing happened and i called 121 on 30th october and explained my problems. The customer care person asked me to check all the message settings in my hand set. i took atmost care in verifying all the settings related to messages and found that all the parameters are very well marching with the customer care person. the reference number for my compliant on 30th october is[protected].
                                      i waited for something to be done to my connection by the airtel people . again they did nothing.
                                      so i contacted the customer care person again and explained the story. he told that before 3rd of november it will be rectified.i got a sms from airtel stating the same and the compliant number for this is 19025418.
                                      later i got a call from the application specialist of airtel and they told that they will be sending a test sms to me and asked me to reply for that to identify whether i am able to send sms from my set.
                                      but they never stick to their words.
                                      till now i have not received any test sms from them.
                                      today morning i called 121. the person told that the due to system error they can't entertain my complaint and asked me to call again aftet 1 hour. luckly i got a complaint number for this time also.it is[protected].
                                      still the problem exists and i am not able to send sms from my connection.

                                      Airtel Postpaid — Complaint regarding fraud

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I would like to inform you that, I requested for disconnection of my airtel postpaid connection( No- [protected], Customer ID[protected] on 4th March 2009, with complaint no. 20920961, & I was told to clear all dues for disconnection first & no to make any call for successful disconnection, hence after my billing cycle of 9th March, I paid total due amountof Rs. 218/- on 11 March 09, through net banking.
                                      I never maid any call after 9th march 2009.

                                      My connection got disconnected successfully, But this month (April) I have received a bill of Amount Rs. 5818.72, Bill No[protected]
                                      As per bill all calls has been made during 15-16 th March 2009 on following Nos.

                                      2.[protected]
                                      3.[protected]
                                      4.[protected]

                                      But, I never maid any call after 9th march 2009 & I also never requested to activate ISD Service on my post paid connecton & I also do not have any kind of relation with above mentioned 4 contact numbers.
                                      This seems fraud done with me by any Airtel Employee. Please investigate about this matter, & suggest necessary action. I never could expecte such kind of fraud with me by Airtel like reputed company.

                                      This is with regards to my earlier mail sent to you regarding activation of my Sim card (refer below) sold by Mr. Ramchandra P (Sales Executive) to me in the first week of july 09. As i was promised by Mr. Ramchandra that my card will get activated in 2-3 days, i had disconnected my earlier sim card mobile which i was using for my business use and suppose to transfer it in my new airtel no. but due to non-activation i have lost my contacts and bearing loss due to your services given.Secondly i have got the airtel bill wchich has been sent to be without any use.

                                      Till date the no. is not activated and after several followups with Mr. Ramchandra, i have now decided to log a complaint in the consumer court against this. Kindly instruct the concerned to refund my amount of Rs.250/- also.

                                      Treat this as my first notice.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I am having Airtel Landline and broadband connection. Since, i have to travel Uk for six months i thought of placing my broadband in safe custody (300 Rs per month) and customer service told me that I need to pay 300 for safe custody and call charges for my landline phone. I agreed and gave the cheque to my father before I left the country.

                                        When My father went to Airtel relationship centre, they told him that we need to pay 300 for safe custody and 550 for the monthly plan for telephone???

                                        When i am already in 850 Plan and in that i have just submitted my broadband for safe custody, why should i need to change my telephone plan?

                                        Customer care told that I need to pay 300 and only the outgoing call charges for my landline. relationship centre is saying a different story.. On a whole, Airtel is trying to make customers unhappy.

                                        Why should I need to pay 300 + 550 + call charges, when i am not using my broadband.. This is ridiculous.

                                        I have sent mails to customer care, Nodal officers, Appellate officers, but no response from any of them. Even, I tried calling the nodal managers and appellete managers, of course they wont pick the calls.
