Hi, i am regular customer of prepaid airtel connection from 2010. Six month back it has got deactivated that number... Now i would like to reactivate it and use for my communication as i have already given same number for bank transaction, aadhar, etc. Kindly reactivate the same i will pay necessary charges if any.

    Sir, maine apna airtel digital tv [protected] rashid khan ke name se ka 1 year ka plan oct 2018 mai karaya tha jo ki mujhe 1199 mai offer kiya gaya tha lekin 6 month ke baad mere tv channel chale gaye hai maine customer ko phone kiya to khte hain ki ab iska labh aap nahi le payenge jab maine net par iska solution dekha to mujhe pata chala is site par complaints dalne se problem short out ho jayegi...

        Dear sir/madam,

        This is to bring your kind attention to the matter.

        Background:
        I travelled to us from 2nd march 10th march 2019. Before the travel on 28th february 2019, i called airtel customer care to stop all the paid services
        While i am travelling. This i did to ensure to avoid any roaming and service charges. I switched off my mobile data before i left india on 2nd march.

        How come service provider did not stop services despite my instruction as an used of my number. I was surprised and shocked to see my message from my credit card and airtel bill for the month of march that i had to pay rs 4755. I lodged a complaint with airtel customer care but found that no complaint was registered. I called again after a week and i was told that complaint cannot be registered as the roaming bill is valid.

        I tried to escalate the matter but could not succeed. I lodged my complain through email to nodal officer 20 april and 6th may 2019 provided the proof as i received a confirmation sms from airtel on 28th february that all my paid services must be stopped while traveling.

        I also approached to ombuds person bharti airtel on 10th may 2019.

        Despite providing the proof and rounds of requests i am not finding any solution and justice.

        May i therefore request you to kindly look into the matter guide me to get justice?

          Poor speed even at 4g in here, we are not getting what we paid for. I often have to switch flight mode on and off for better speed. This is not only my problem, this is the problem of the whole community living in here. If the problem persist most of them will switch their network. I request airtel to get is good network as expected from 4g speed, thank you.

            Hi i have recharged my account with 2228/- to activate ap super star hd pack, and the pack was activated and to my surprise some of telugu channels were missing, but name suggests ap, not even single telugu channels were part of it, before recharging i was told by cc, that all telugu channels were part of it and now nothing. So i have added 4 channels as ala carte, now today (30th may), account was suspended due to low balance. What going on airtel. Now i want to cancel and refund my money or change my pack, as i can recharge some amount.

              My mob no is [protected] with monthly charge of rs 99/- pm. However this month, i rec'd bill for rs 406.11, when no additional paid service is activated, except internet pack which is allowed by ur customer care services without additional charge for six months. I m surprised to see bill that is overcharged for over four times of monthly charges. I hope u wil sort out the discrepancy n issue fresh corrected bill.

                My name is md sharique and my airtel mobile no is [protected] (This is my postpaid number) n i have apple iphone xs as my device... I have been complaining repeatedly but no resolution is provided to me and hence it is a case of consumer harassment so i am involving ministry of consumer affairs to look into this matter concerned..
                This is to inform u that i have been complaining about my network issues in my apple iphone xs device as your airtel doesn’t support the proper network, and i have been complaining about this since last 3 months but no solutions has been provided to me, your technical person came n went after understanding all the issues but he could not help me either... The signal breakdown and call drops frequently and internet speed is just pathetic when your airtel tower is just 300 meters away from my home location...
                Kindly connect me to the airtel device management team (Apple iphone) for my issues as your airtel network team is unable to help me...
                I m uploading a screenshot of my current network strength and current network speed though speedtest result...
                N if this situation still prevails than ministry of consumer affair or consumer affairs department should guide me where to go now for the proper resolutions and complete customer satisfaction as airtel is continuously harassing me through its pathetic service which they claim as the best in the country...

                  #airtelindia has charged me again this month for my postpaid bill that i consolidated for my husband's number and my number... I was supposed to have around rs2000 in credits and no bill for the next 4 months... I was charged netflix and amazon prime charges on my husbands phone number which i have already got directly taken from the reapected merchants... I called and i was told by two supervisors that those charges for netflix for two months rs1000 and the yearly subscription of amazon prime rs1000 will be refunded as credits... I over paid march months bills on my no i paid rs1000 extra and i paid rs700 extra on my spouse bill and the day i spoke to the supervisors they advised me to consolidate my bill as i was paying rs1500 to rs2000 every month on both my numbers and they offered me a plan where the same old plans for just rs649 for both my numbers... I had clarified and they said mam ur bill wont be more than 649 with taxes every month and to be rest assured with the credits for the next 4 months i will not have to pay any bill... I beleived them and changed my plans... They wrote the notes but see the cleverness, once the plan was consolidated the credits dont show and when i ask them for the old bills they say it cannot be opened as they do not have access to them... Bloody cheaters is what i can call them...

                    Recently (Feb 1) trai has enforced new dth rules to benefit consumers, and introduced la carte system. With sole intention of bring down costs for the subscribers by a considerable margin and offer a more efficient way of choosing channels.
                    However this never happened, infact people are being looted while misquoting the regulation enforcement from trai.
                    To put things into perspective let me share my experience, i have been using airtel dth (Hd) connection for past 5 years.

                    - annual subscription for "mega hd dth" connection costed me approx inr 5300/- (Offered about ~450 channels including +50 hd). Subscribed between 2014 to 2018
                    - annual subscription for "infinity" (With offered over 550 channels, including 60 hd) costed ~5600/-. Subscribed until 2019

                    So far things worked out well, until day before yesterday when my subscription expired and i sat down to re-new the plan, the fraudulent company (Bharti airtel) asked me to pay inr 8400/- for the infinity plan (Which is officially discontinued, however if i choose to pay i can still avail the same)
                    Inr ~7600 "mega hd (Which has barely 150 channels).

                    I want strict action to be taken against airtel who is cheating and looting people under the name of trai regulations. Trai wanted to bring down the ownership cost, however the fraudulent company is taking more money and offering less channel to view.

                      I have taken the 399 pack and i cant even use half of the data... Rarely i have used it... Other times it was going on loading... Complained to customer care couple of times... Only response is that we are working on it or today we have restarted the server or we are gonna install tower in your area but no proper action was taken... Its really pathetic an frsutrating since they are thinking that we are getting money very easily to install on their damn network...

                      I donno whether they really do care for their services and the feedback from the customers even call faciloty wont work properly... What if a girl is walking or going alone and in case of any emergency she wants to call and there is no network what can she do? Its really pathetic and i suggest noone to take it out... And same dialog we are hearing is that team is working... Donno which team it is... And donno how the net suddenly starts working for some time after 12 am night... These guys are cheating customers by not providing bandwidth at that time... Hope atleast after reading this they will atleast open their eyes from sleep and start working.

                        I have 3 prepaid sim for last 10year. But there is no complain regarding network but i think that was my big mistake that i believe in your costomer support officer she told me change to postpaid. I think may be good offer but when i change to postpaid my network will came after 4days. They told me there is a call verification from our office but after 4days they call me and my network was came. At the same time they told me take family pack and you will got good offer. Already 10days gone but one of my family phone network not came yet. After repeated complain today morning there is a call varification from your side. And told me within 30min your network will came back but already 12 hour gone when i visit to your costomer care office at xavior square bhubaneswar branch they told me if you have any problem please change your phone operator. That i will 100% i change to jio operator. But if someone ask to rate your postpaidnetwork then my opinion 1 out of 10. Very very poor support from airtel.

                          iam a customer of airtel dth.Today my tv is not coming and it is showing some error.I called the customer care and they are asking 150 rs for the restoring.They are telling iam out of warranty.If iam out of warranty then why they are asking me to recharge the tv iam doing the recharge every month.Is it there duty to provide customer support or not.

                            Airtel provides good network speed but only upto 500 mb data usage...! After that the speed goes on decreasing! Is this how they treat their customers? We dont request it, but we pay for it! Either you have to solve the problem or i have to change my operator! I face this problem daily and half of my internet data will be lost because of slow usage!

                              Hello,

                              My complaint on the subject is detailed below.

                              As required by Airtel that sim should not be left unused beyond 90 days, otherwise sim will be deactivated, I received an sms on 05/05/19 to do a recharge within 15 days to ensure continued services. Accordingly I have done a recharge of Rs.399 on 14/05/19 and I have received message for the successful recharge (Transaction ID [protected]). This recharge is made within 9 days of receiving the message. Furthermore, I have made 3 successful calls to 121 on 16/05/19 and few calls to another bank toll free number before being deactivated on 17/05/19. In addition there was a balance of over Rs.19 at that time.

                              I have complained to Airtel (CC - customer care) on 17/05/19 that mobile services were stopped and Airtel CC replied on 18/05/19 that they found no usage since 90 days & the services were discontinued on 17/05/19. As advised by Airtel CC, I approached Airtel relationship center in Vidyaranyapura & they replaced with another sim, but said that earlier recharge amount will not be available. Again I complained to Airtel CC on 18/05/19 and provided them the history of sms received & recharge done (as I have mentioned in the earlier paragraph) and Airtel CC replied on 19/05/19 that once number is disconnected, balance cannot be carried forward to reactivated number.

                              In any case, as mentioned in the first paragraph, I have done the recharge after receiving the sms & within the given timeline and the recharge amount is credited to Airtel account, that means my amount is lying with Airtel. If the number was deactivated, then Airtel should have taken measures that the recharge should not have been accepted in the first place. It is entirely Airtel's fault. I need refund of the recharge amount of Rs.399/- as Airtel cannot have my amount in their account at my expense.

                              I am enclosing email correspondence with Airtel & screenshot of successful recharge as proof.

                                    My airtel broadband complaint reference number is[protected].

                                    This is sowjanya. I am using airtel broadband band from three years, from feb. 2019 i have been opted yearly plan. I have paid yearly fee upfront. Fom mar.2019 i am having disconnection problem. From 24th may i don't have broadband access because of drop cable issues front airtel. I have been complaining from 24th may regarding his issue. Today is 29th may till now i didn't get any resolution from airtel technical support, they are asking me to wait for sometime.
                                    Can you please go through this issue and do the needful for me.

                                      call charges on special numbers

                                      In my monthly postpaid paid bill for the periodi ending on 25 may 2019, i have been charged rs.74/- for calling 1860 series numbers in-spite of having a unlimited local and std calling plan.

                                      On reaching out to airtel i was told that these are special numbers and i am liable to be charged inspite of having a unlimited calling plan.
                                      However, there is no such mention in the tariff rates mentioned in my monthly bill.br...

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I have been complaining to airtel on pathetic network coverage at my home. Many complains done since last one and half years, but no one listen at airtel. They close the complain without action on it to meet their kpi's.

                                      This complain no reference no.[protected] done on 8th may 2019 still not resolved. There engg came and given internal report that there in no network coverage at my home. Customer care people trying to divert the topic saying your no is not listed with us giving some other mobile no. I told them this time you cannot close the complain without my consent and written communication from my registered email id.

                                      Below is the original mail msg received when complain done to airtel.

                                      (Dear customer, reference no.[protected] for your airtel mobile has been registered on 08/05/2019 11:24:54. The same will be closed within 4 working days.. To check the status, sms sr (Ref. No.) to 121.)

                                      Its more than 20 days now and in practical sence one and half year, but my problem remain same, which is not solved.

                                      Pathetic airtel network at my home, i have been complaining but always fake promises done.

                                      Request you to kindly help me resolving this very old problem
