Airtel DTH have activated add of Google Pay after changing every channel on DTH connection, it appears on the upper right side of the screen. This add getting activated without intimating to customer and to deactivate customer has to call at customer service which is wastage of time and energy. Why customer should call for deactivation? Its not customer fault. Secondly its not getting deactivated instantly after complaining to customer service, they register complain and it takes 48 hours.

Call was made on 5-December-2018, approximately time 8:10 PM from my mobile number [protected] and it was landed on Mr. Amit (Customer Care Executive) he was not listening and not attentive on call, I repeateded my concern he took permission and kept my call on hold and disconnected.

Again I called and landed on Mr. Shivdeep (Customer Care Executive), after request he transferred call to Senior Supervisor Mr. Saurabh Tiwari and finally call transferred to Unit Manager Mr. Rushabh.

Customer is taking connection for entertainment and not to see adds. This might be the tie-up with Airtel and Google, but they should not display adds without customer confirmation or concern.

There are senior citizens in family who are fed-up with this add. I have to call and have to spend more than 40 minutes for this. Is Airtel DTH is going to pay compensation for this harassment. I have to unnecessary invest my valuable time and energy without any fault.

    Dear sir,

    I have been using Airtel for more than 11 years. Recently I received an SMS from airtel saying that I have to recharge for Rs28 to extend my validity for receiving and making calls. For finding the truth I contacted with the customer support. The executive said that as per some new policy change it is mandatory to make recharges for extending validity.

    This is for your kind notice that I was already subscribed for a lifetime validity pack that was released as an offer by airtel long back in 2008. I had been using airtel since 2007 ie about 11 years of relationship. I never expect a reputed service provider like airtel to do such things. If am right, airtel released lifetime validity pack for 999₹. This implies a prepaid user to continue receive incoming calls for lifetime after a single recharge of 999₹ (after revised to 499₹). I did this recharge for maintaining the connection for a long run. It is not fair to ask for recharge again for extending validity.

    Since the new policy does not applies for customers who had already subscribed for lifetime validity pack, I raised a complaint by mail to airtel support (as directed by customer care executive over telephone). But still now nothing happended. They never responed to my mail.

    I kindly request you to take immediate action regarding this.

      I recharged with rs 169 for [protected] on the demand o[censored]nable to make outgoing calls on 05/12/18 and the validity up to 01/01/2019. I even emailed to [protected]@airtel.comand called to 121 they are not resolving the glitches regarding the issue. after recharging also I am unable to call.
      so please kindly accept the complaint and resolve the issue

        I have raised a porting request for changing my home location from delhi to banaglore. I got message like number is ported successfully and old sim will deactivated and i can start using new sim. I have put new sim but there is no signal in sim. I am not able to make any call/data/service. This is going on from last thre days.
        I have called to the customer care but none is helping.

          Someone from bharti airtel called me in my jio number telling me to submit my land patta and blank cheque, and i been trying to call bharti airtel to check if it's relevant or not but airtel seems they are only interested with their products, the number who called me was [protected]. So, if there's anyone from airtel bharti then please track this number and tell me if he is right or wrong.

            Your representive call me over cell phone that your post paid bill will be rs. 300/- per month but bill generated more than rs.300/- under bill plan charges infinity family plan 399.
            So i nerver call from this number. I also call to customer care but all in vein.
            Rs. 300/- also taken by your representative.
            So i request you for discontinous from your service.
            Please consider of my case with sympathically.

              I was offered rs99 postpaid plan in airtel because of which i opted to stay with airtel postpaid.
              Once im away from the country the plan has been changed to rs399 plan without my consent and now that i raised concerns it has been changed to rs 249 plan. I would like to get the rs 99 plan which was offered to me and as it was changed without my consent. I have done numerous followups and emails. The customer care clearly understands that i cannot visit the office as i'm abroad currently. Knowing this, they are always asking me visit my office for every request, which is not possible as i'm abroad. This behaviour is unacceptable and us unreasonable on a customer. I was using postpaid before this as i submitted request to move to prepaid 4 months back airtel called me and convinced to stay in postpaid plan for rs99, they also said if anything goes wrong i can call airtel and they would support me always. This has turned to be false promise. I would like to either get rs 99 plan or portout of airtel and i cannot come to office for any of this. Airtel has to make exception and process my request as it is not my mistake and it is airtel who changed my plan without my consent.

                I have been having airtel sim postpaid, since over 2 years and was having a good download speeds around 15-20 mbps (Location: covai s3 retirement community, perur-pachapalayam, coimbatore - 641010. We have airtel tower just outside our complex, that is the reason we chose it)
                Since[protected], the download speed has become very low 0.5 to 2 mbps. On 24 nov i complained through 121 (Complaint number[protected]. They promised to solve problems by 28/11/18. Still very low speeds. Complained several times through 121, talked with floor supervisor, customer care called me, but still problem is not solved and download speeds are around 0.5 to 2 mbps. They give me 75 gb / month, free amazon prime movies and music, but i cannot even check mail and whatsapp at this speeds.
                Others in our complex have complained and get same reply that it will be solved.
                Hope through this custmercomplaint airtel will take our complaint seriously and solve problem of low speed

                    Dear airtel team myself gaurav yogi and i live in bhilwara rajasthan in a village raghunathpura here is the pincode 311401.in my village there isn't any network tower available so we have to face low network and internet access. We receives only 10 kb per second speed in the locality. Many times i had complained about this problem true customer care number 198 but i am not yet satisfied. There are five thousand people in our village using airtel from a long time. We want to inform you that we all are going to port airtel to another network soon

                      I've subscribed for night cashback offer two days ago. I was supposed to receive 50% of the data used between 12 am-6 am but i didn't. I had subscribed twice when i didn't get the cash back in the morning yesterday but still the same result! I've both the sms confirmations that my night cash back is activated. I want to know why you send confirmation sms to a service when you're not able to give the service in first place. I want 50% of my used data back as well as per the plan. A quick response will be appreciated.

                        Airtel has the mentality to dusturb its customes. Really shame on you people for doing fraud with the customers as you people don't have guts to earn your income. Instead you people become greesy hungry fellows to eat the benefits of rhe customers. If this is the way you people treat the customers then that day is not so far when you will lose the business. Now you people become greedy by eating the money every month. If you have little bit shame and little bit self respect and respect for your parents then give the benefits from your side as your services becoming worse day by day. Show some respect to the customers by giving them bemefits from your side atleast to me instead of looting me cheating with me and doing fraud with me.

                        If you can't do this thing then do one thing take one big katora and sit on the road. People will give you lot of money to you. You hungry greedy beggars only have the mentality to loot he customers instead of giving them benefits you people become blood suckers of them. Really shame on you.

                          Today i recharged my prepaid card through my hdfc netbanking for 3 times.
                          After each recharge i got "recharge done successfully" message. Amount got deducted from my account too.

                          1) at 4:38pm i recharged my prepaid card for 175 rs. (Data) which is successfully reflected so no issues.
                          2) at 4:45pm i recharged for 196 rs. (Talk time)
                          As i was getting "less talk-time balance", i got confussed and again tried recharging.
                          3) at 7.06pm i recharged again for 296 rs. (Talk time)

                          Still i am getting the same message saying "talk time is too less".

                            Multiple issues:

                            Dtv customer id: [protected]-001

                            1). Dtv complaint # 83603314 is unfulfilled. Your folks have taken away the stb but have not retuned back a replacement.

                            2) this apartment, r&s riveraaparment, has about 60 subscribers. The existing infrastructure looks poor. The technician who visit us look for mere workaround to plug & play a defective pin into another. According to building supervisor airtel infrastructure setup for this building is not proper. Last week some one visited and attempted fixing one user issue but this impacted others. Request you to have proper interaction with building association and have permanent solution. I have myself reported recurrent failure (July, sep)

                            3) airtel ivr[protected] is defective. We only are able to listen to ads, but when we select options (2) followed by (1) to talk to support, it does not work.

                            4). Also see attached photo. Your technician had come home to review the issue but left the electrical board open.

                            Request you to get it fixed asap. Every time the service fails tickets are never resolved in timely manner.

                            Emailed the same details to [protected]@airtel.com, and also posted at twitter but no responsible action from your team.

                            Suggest you move the case to your nearby manager who might fix it quickly. The vendor/manager allocated to pin code 560077 has never been prompt.

                            Even after one week in regard to B001 DTV error, the issue is open. Talked to airtel local service provider manager Sharif [protected], and requested to fix the issue by bringing back the STB which they have taken away one week back. Still no resolution from Airtel staff. Followed up recurrently Airtel Twitter presence.

                                  I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I had in your establishment last week.

                                  I was not using this SIM due to my phone breakage since from last 2-3 months. But when i inserted that sim on my new phone it shown invalid. Then I went to near-by Airtel customer care to fix this problem but they to said me that another SIM Kit is being made from same number. My whole data and accounts are link with this number including whatsapp. I was your old customer and using that SIM from last 6 years. If I change the SIM card my whole important data will be get lost.
                                  OR If another person will purchase that SIM my whole data and personal information will be visible to him (as many accounts were linked with that number).

                                  Can you please activate my SIM? or give me another SIM with same number?

                                  The Airtel number which I'm having problem is [protected]. Due to this problem I can't open the apps which are linked with that and having 2 factor authentication issue. So I can't get OTPs.

                                    Hello Consumer Forum,

                                    I had opted for connection in April-2018 for the broadband connection. As per verbal communication shared by sales representatives from Airtel that this connection is prepaid and can be discontinued after 6 months o[censored]sage, and if you would like to continue please pay the amount and it will renew.

                                    Following the same my parents opted for this connection. After 6 months of duration at end of Sept-2018. The connection went off, and we assumed its disconnection due to non renewal requests from my end.

                                    In Nov-2018 we received a phone call from Airtel claiming an amount of nearly 3500+, which was declined initially by my parents and then again next phone call, I have received on 03rd December. Soon after the incident I dropped an email to Airtel regarding the whole situation and asked them for improvisation in communication being made and correction of such bill amount.

                                    The communication made to me over the call was that I have used 103 GB of data for month of Oct-2018, and hence i have to pay the full amount, which is honestly not fair, because the connection was dead and router was disconnected after observing it is dead for multiple days in October itself. Also my avg. monthly usage at home is 20-25 GB. So claiming of 103 GB data is also an unfair.

                                    I had opted for another Airtel broadband provided by my society, so there is no sense of renewing this connection by making full payment.

                                    India is a place where a lot of people are not familiar with technologies and information, I strongly believe that there are many people facing such kind of issues of auto-renewal without any confirmation from subscriber side and claiming for any amount for dead connections /nonusage.

                                    They might have not paid the bills, but are into the blacklist for non payment of bills, while sitaution is other way round where sales team is making false promises to consumers and then also companies are claiming false charges for usage which customers never used at all.

                                    I would request you to take any actions accordingly.

Me and my wife both was using airtel services but some how i was on bed for almost 1 and half years and i was unable to pay the bill. But now i want to activate my numbers...
