I went to airtel store in sector-120 noida, on 24-oct-18 to switch my postpaid to prepaid, paid my dues & did the required process & they told me that my number wlll start in 72 hrs. After 2 days, no network was there as my number was ported out of postpaid but not ported in to prepaid, so i went to another airtel store who told me to go to the same airtel store i went for the first time. I did the same, the airtel store team told me to wait for 8 hrs & after that when your number starts, do an frc & your number will start. I reconfirmed it from customer care executive. The next day, i. E. 28-oct-18, my number was ported to prepaid so i went for the frc recharge of rs 229. Even after the recharge, my number outgoing not started & is still in grace period. I tried contacting customer care executive multiple times but everytime they give an excuse like my number will start today (Which never did) or that wrong frc was done or go to the airtel store etc. I cant go to the airtel store again and again as i have a job to do as well. Please help to resolve this issue hassle free.

Complaint marked as Resolved Frustrated, I went to Airtel store once again on 30-Oct, they re registered my MNP request to switch to prepaid on the same day, & told me that outgoing will start by 31-Oct, which it did.
Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
"Thanks for using GamesWorldPocket. You have been charged Rs 20.0 from your Airtel Mobile account.For more services, call 56789"
I never did use the stated item, nor did l ever opt or ask for it. Forcing such payments on to customers by the mobile phone service provider amounts to cheating and unfair trade practice.
I want immediate refund of the deducted amount and non-recurrance of such incident.
Kindly look into the matter urgently.
