I am an airtel customer for last 14+ years, having had multiple connections in the past and present (Landline, broadband and multiple mobile connections).
This complaint is regarding one of my current airtel #s[protected], being in service for many years now.
The problem started from may this year. The monthly payment that i have been making through si (From my credit card) got refused for couple of months.
I spoke to many people in the customer service around mid of july and subsequently, made 3 payments in the month of july, the last of which was made on 22/7. By virtue of that, i gathered that i have made excess payment to airtel. However my account has even till date been shown in negative. Ironically a day after making the last payment, my outgoing service was disconnected and finally yesterday, my incoming has been stopped as well.
Despite writing umpteen posts in the fb, there has not been any meaningful and productive response yet.
I have made my mind to sever my relationship with airtel and move elsewhere, with so many enticing options available.
I however am amazed to see such pathetic and deplorable customer service from an organisation that has been spending probably millions in tv and media adverts making tall claims about customer focus.
I am now only waiting to close this message once and for all before i move out. Can you help in any way, sir?
