Hi I eve recently shifted from TIKONA broadband to AIRTEL broadband . My Internet usage is basically emails and once in a while web surfing, nothing heavy duty .I had a 8GB plan with tikona for several years and i ve never used my 100% data .usage was hardly 3-4gb in a month .my usage still remains the same and after shifting to AIRTEL and that too with 15 GB of plan .within 5 days it was showing consumption of 9GB of data though in reality my account was not even activated and i had not even used the Internet but in their records it was showing. I got a call from AIRTEL that I ve used 100% of my data within 15 days . I had made a complaint but their was no serious follow up to resolve the issue .I let it go thinking it could be a technical problem, but again this month with good 12 days for the billing cycle to get over I got a call that I ve consumed 100% data .and I can pay Rs99/- per GB to get more data .my Internet usage has not changed a bit .I fail to understand where my data is going . I feel very disgusted and cheated .This is outright stealing by AIRTEL .The matter needs to be investigated by police .after doing thorough research on the Internet I ve found that I am not the only one their are many many more .besides the broadband I ve got two more mobile connection. I have been a very loyal customer of airtel for long . Now I am planning to switch over to another service provider .shame on you AIRTEL khurram Qureshi Airtel fixed line[protected] mob -[protected]

We have the same issue and I'm sure airtel cheats with its broadband plan.
We had 50GB connection and within 20 days it is over we changed to 60GB and even that got over in 20 days.
We are sure we are cheated by airtel. we dont stay at home and we work outside hoem for aroung 12 hrs and use internet to check emails and dont watch videos.
We also have the same issue. I was having 9GB data at the earlier time one year before but now even before 20 days 100% of my allocated 26GB data gets consumed as provided by alert message from airtel. I m using internet for mail purpose or whatsup. Never watch You tube video etc. We are sure we are being cheated by airtel. Birender Kumar Pal Fixedline:- [protected]; mob [protected]. Nobody is running round the clock internet activities at my home as all are working at office for over 10 hours a day. Airtel certainly problems in measuring data or inflating bills. Last month itself over 30 GB of data was consumed within a few days... I'm told that the entire operations of Airtel is run by third party vendors. May be they are at default or Airtel management policy? I get regular calls from Airtel to increase my data on an enhanced plan. That's why get our suspicion of stealing our money gets stronger with every passing month. I read a news recently on TOI on the same topic.

Fcuk Airtel. They regularly cheated on me too. I spent upto ₹4500 p/m on data alone for nearly 2 years. Im gonna bury this airtel SIM for good. Lets see who is smarter. Pathetic cheaters.
What the hell is this. I am totally dependent on this, I cant even check my job mail. I didnt even download movies or use you tube today, my data is over. 1.4 gb is sucked by them. For 3 consecutive days. Trustless... jio is far better with this. They dont steal data...

Airtel is cheating ...I have recharged 398 plan ...and after checking my emails my daily data limit have crossed 50%...what is going on...just 764 mb left for daily 1.5 GB data just after checking the emails...
This is is morning 12:00-12:01 i didn't used a single app in between this 1 minute but every day airtel sim will shows that i have been used 160 mb 250mb some time on 12:00 it will shows that 90% data usege as been completed
What it means is it airtel internet browsing faster like it will get browse 1.3 gb within 30seconds

I've faced the same issue in my case I have changed my password thrice, in my case I monitored some 4GB data got consumed in 45min without usage . I just scared to turn on my modem, the moment i turn it on data starts decreasing in GBs, I lost 800GB in a month with same kind o[censored]sage few months ago this same usage used to consume some 20GB per month now it's 800GB.

This is attrocious, Airtel shame on you
