28-Sep-2015: Created porting request for my number [protected]. SMS PORT to 1900. Unique porting code (VX243631) created. Validity o[censored]PC till 06-Oct-20015. Received SIM card from Airtel executive who visited my Office in Manyata tech park, Hebbal 01-Oct-2015: Got msg from vodafone that porting request cannot be accepted as bill due. Bill paid immediately. Tried to send PORT request again. Received SMS saying previous porting request still valid till 06-Oct-2015. 01-Oct-2015: Visited Airtel store in Uttarahalli main road for help. Executive said the porting request will anyway be invalid. Asked me to send a PORT request again after 06-Oct-2015. Asked me to discard the SIM card given previously and visit the store after new PORT request. 14-Oct-2015: Created new port request. SMS PORT to 1900. Got a new UPC number (VX268239). 21-Oct-2015: Recieved SMS that Porting request accepted and the porting will be done same day by 23:48:00. Visited Airtel store in Uttarahalli. Received a new SIM card. Executive asked for alternate mobile number for tele verification. I gave alternate number. Executive said it may take 24 hours to activate. 26-Oct-2015: No verification call received. Called customer care ([protected]). They said the SIM is active and asked for 20 digit number on the SIM card. I gave the number. customer care executive said the SIM number is different than the one in records. Visit nearest airtel store for help 27-Oct-2015 (11:00 AM): Visited Airtel store. Executive mentioned that the my number profile on their portal is inactive. Will initiate another tele verification call for activation. Once i receive the call on my alternate number([protected]), the SIM (which i discarded long back) will be active. Once my profile is active he will update the new SIM details. 27-Oct-2015 (10:00 PM): No tele verification happened. Called customer care. He asked to insert the SIM in the phone and dial a 5 digit number starting from 5. There was no network on the SIM. He told the same story. Visit nearest Airtel store for help. Since then i am out of hope as it is a juggling between Airtel store and customer care. No one understand the issue. Or may be no one cares.

29-Oct-2015: I visited the Airtel store again and they said they will get the tele verification call arranged for my alternate number ([protected]) the same day. But i still did not get any call. I have changed my phone device today (1-Nov-2015) just to make sure there is nothing wrong in my phone. I am awaiting till 02-Nov-2015 hoping they may give me a Tele verification.
02-Nov-2015: Finally received the tele verification call from Airtel to an alternate number. After verification the support team said the phone will be active within 1 hour.
03-Nov-2015: Phone was still not active. Went to Airtel office in Uttarahalli at 4:00PM. They refreshed my profile and said the phone will be active within 4 hours
04-Nov-2015: 10:00 AM: EUREKA!!! Phone is active and started working. No issues now.

Summary of my number porting:
Number got ported from Vodafone on 23-Oct-2015. I am active on Airtel on 4-Nov-2015. It took 12 days to port from Vodafone to Airtel. That too after visiting Airtel office innumerable number of times and calling customer care

    Very very worst ever airtel experience I have chosen airtel for mobile number portability from another network and my porting request was accepted documents deposit everything was submitted and address verification also done after a long period of nearly 1 month my old network was deactivated the executive named Rajesh gave me a sim 1st time which was not accessible and he gave another sim wen i inserted that after my old network deactivated im not getting airtel network and i was unable to make verification i cannot even set manual network settings when i contacted customer care 4 to times very poor service not proper explanation and i don't have any alternate number too. Dear airtel take immediate action of this and take action of that guy rajesh. he sim simply switching off the mobile and just rejecting my call. Give my number back.. terrible service from airtel Thank you after that one of the executive said that your both the sim doesn't match the activated sim they are saying that your number was activated with some other sim number that i don't have that particular sim my question was what was happening inside airtel ? is the executives are really working or just getting free salary ? why they are providing me some other sim that too two sim which doesn't match the activated sim ? where is the activated sim ? i need answers for all these questions. and i need my sim back as soon as possible. i cannot able to use my mobile for more that 24 hrs of time I'm working professional i will get lots of calls and messages

      I am prepaid customer of AIRTEL MOBILE from Bengaluru. My NO:[protected] 1. On 13.10.2015, I received promo SMS that if I charge for Rs.154/- I get 1 GB of 3G/4G data - 28 days validity. After I recharge, only 540 MB - 14 days validity is credited to my account instead of 1 GB - 28 days. I contacted their call centre but of no use. 2.On 26.10.2015 I visited Airtel recharge shop wherein Airtel Plan chart was exhibited which applicable for September October 2015. RC 257 plan was offered 1 GB 30 days and Talk Tome of Rs.125/- I recharged this plan but surprised to note only 500 MB of 14 days validity + only Rs.100 Talk time is credited. 3. Day light robbery by AIRTEL. M. RAMESH BABU Bengaluru.

        Hello, Yesterday evening (26/10/2015) between 6:45PM - 7PM, I WRONGLY recharged an Airtel number, [protected], from a shop in Dange Chowk area of Pune city, Maharashtra state. The recharge amount was 1000/-INR (One thousand rupees only). [protected] WAS NOT the number I intended to recharge. Transaction ID is[protected] Realizing my mistake, I went back to the retailer and asked him to reverse the recharge. The retailer called up some number, and later told me that since the recharge has been done to some person in Madhya Pradhesh, he cannot reverse it. Had it been a recharge in Maharashtra, he could had done something. He asked me to call the recharge number and request that person to reverse. I tried contacting [protected], but the person isn't even receiving my call. The retailers number is [protected]. This is the number of the retailer from which the retailer does Airtel recharge. He recharged 1000/-INR using [protected]. After this, I Googled for some Airtel contact number where I can lodge my grievance. To that effect, I tried calling [protected], but to no avail. And I even sent an email to [protected]@in.airtel.com, who replied that they were helpless about it, and that I should contact the retailer who recharged for me. I am requesting Airtel authorities to do the necessary investigation and please refund me my 1000 /- INR (One thousand rupees only).One thousand is a big amount and I cannot simply let it go away. You could do so by sending 1000 rupees credit to the retailer's number from whom I recharged.(Retailers number = [protected]) My contact number is [protected].         Hello, I am the original complainant to wrote the above message. More than 5 months have passed since I posted my grievance and nothing has been done so far to address it. On the contrary, I got a fraud call from an imposter claiming to be an Airtel representative. He fooled me into giving him all my bank account details (Don't start blaming me to give me account details. He banked on my "hope" instinct of getting back the money and i fell for it. BTW he had called from a normal mobile number, I had a tingling sensation that this might be a fraud call.) He promised me to refund all my money and I gave him my bank details. Luckily, I chose to give him account details of the bank which I hadn't been using for a long time and hence, didn't have much money. He fooled me so much that I even gave him the OTP code that we receive to initialize a transaction. These fraudsters are damn good at it. He tried twice to withdraw money from my account. First 3000 INR then 1500 INR. Both time I gave him OTP. Fortunately, the account was neglected and there wasn't much money in it to withdraw. The fraudsters attempt to withdraw money failed. I received a call from my bank stating that something wrong is happening with my account. I am thinking this website is fraud in itself. managed by fraudsters to dupe already duped people.
        I got a call from Airtel today morning claiming they are absolutely helpless in this case. When I spoke about the fraud call, the rep said he has nothing to do with it.

            Today on 26th oct 15 in the evening I used my prepaid airtel mobile no [protected] for internet. I dont have the net pack .Within 2 minutes company has deducted more than 80 rupeesfor using the net. It happened with me earlier also..This kind of deducting the huge money within short span of time is the kind of a loot of innocent customers by the network operators like airtel. Nobody is going to pay the heed toward such corrupt practices. Is anybody listening?

              Airtel bill for the month of Oct 15 of my Landline [protected] is Rs 1638 which normally is Rs 625. This includes a fraudulent amount of Rs 1129 as use of Broadband which was never used. This is a case of Fraud committed by Airtel on me as a revenge of various complaints I have made to higher authorities. I will give the reasons for the same as under.
              (a) I have not used Airtel Broadband for the last over 2 years for low speed. I opted for BSNL Telephone Np 2430006 since then & have never used Airtel Broadband & have still been paying the bill to keep my identity of land line No since it is in vide circulation in my known friend, acquaintances & business contacts.
              (b) My BSNL No is providing me internet 24 hrs. & giving me the best speed at a reasonable cost.
              (c) I have no reason to use Airtel Broadband on 15 & 16 Oct since my BSNL connection is working. A log of 15 & 16 Oct 15 of BSNL shows that BSNL Internet was used during the period Airtel has billed me. How two internet connections can work at the same time on one computer?
              (d) On 15 Oct, on a complaint that my Airtel Land line had cracking noise, Airtel Mechanic Lalit came & attended the fault. My Modem of Airtel Broadband was switched on by him without my knowledge. I could not notice it since the modem was kept away & was not ordinarily visible to anybody. However I did not change the connection from BSNL to Airtel on my computer without which the Airtel Internet will not get connected to my Computer. I noticed the tempering of Modem on 16 Oct & switched it off.
              (e) I have therefore a reason to believe that Lalit intentionally switched on the modem so that a fraudulent billing could be made against my connection for internet use by Airtel. I have the reason to belief that Airtel wants to harass me for a number of complaint against Airtel made by me to TRAI.
              (f) It is amazing that Airtel has billed me for the accused downloading for two days of a figure which is normally my entire month`s use.
              (g) The reason of my stopping the use of Airtel Internet was extremely low speed of 2 to 4 Khz. With that kind of low speed how could such a huge download could be made in these many hours, as shown by Airtel. Is it not indicative of a fraud?
              (h) My internet connection of Airtel was applicable between 2000 hrs. to 0800 hrs., The record of no of years before I stopped using Airtel Internet will show that I never used the Airtel Internet between 0800 hrs. to 2000 hrs. Does Airtel considers me crazy that I will use the Airtel Internet in the hours indicated by Airtel?

              I will request you to take Airtel to task for harassing a senior citizen & and a respectable retired Officer of Indian Army. Airtel mbe directed to correct the bill so that I can pay the bill by due date.

                i had converted Post paid(M: [protected]) connection to Prepaid and while conventing paid paid connection i have provided Photo and address proff of DL. after 3 month my outgoing barred at Airtel Outlet in Ramamurthy nagar, bangalore. no information from Aitel till now documents not available.

                i want same Out let ask them for reason outgoing bar and say that resubmit document than i asked them when i taking connection i have submited all document and why u are asking again.

                they are not responding for that and saying resubmit.

                fast one month my out going barred what is use for connection.

                my concerns at some reason outgoing barred customer should they primary information from from Airtel.

                what kind of services there providing.

                have Network issue always and in my home i can't see single.

                    I have been having problems related to Airtel's monthly data usage which is name o[censored]MA SHANKAR KUMAR (CNF No. TBLR 7012768).

                    My monthly data usage has considerably increased in a short period without any change in my internet surfing habits. There has been a huge amount of data theft or loss even with the computer and/or the router being switched off.


                    We are three people using Airtel plan of 60 GB monthly usages and then unlimited. But within 6 or 7 days complete data has been used, where we have not even consumed 30 GB. I dont know ho its happened, but trully happens.
                    Please help us from data theft or hacking, otherwise we will not use the airtel connection ever.


                    Apparently, I'm not the only one having these problems and after reading the above comments, I'm convinced that airtel's system is rigged on purpose or whatever.

                    Please bring this matter to light and someone help resolve this.

                      On the 10th of October I had around 9GB of 3G data. I had recharged 1GB and the rest was carried forward from previous month. On the 23rd of October I had topped up my talk time with a 100 RS. recharge and the balance was around RS. 100. I have been using 3G and last, when I checked yesterday, I had around 3.5GB data left and around RS. 100 talk time. Today I have no 3G and nil talk time. I was surprised that I had consumed so much of data and talk time in a few hours. I called up customer care and they informed me that I had used all of my 3G and the extra usage was deducted from my talk time balance. It did not make sense because when I called up customer care I still had around 30 MB data left so there was no question that I had consumed extra data which required deduction from my talk time balance. As soon as my 30 MB was consumed I took advance 3G of 80MB for RS. 24 to be deducted later. I am wondering why Airtel did not intimate me about my low 3G balance and that future usage will be deducted from my talk time balance, if this was the case, which is not. Even if I assume that I had consumed all of my 3G there was no reason to deduct my talk time balance as I still had 30 MB left when I spoke to the customer service. If I still had 30 MB left how could I have exceeded my 3G limit. My Airtel number is [protected] and my circle is Bihar and Jharkhand.

                        I requested to [email protected] and also wrote on the Airtel facebook page and consumer complaint website to which they responded both online and also through phone. I gave the detail of my complaint and so they said they would act upon in the specified date (today) to which as customer care agent came to my doorstep to deliver the refund. However I wish, these services were done from the beginning itself to avoid such confusion but nevertheless thankful that they did.

                        Glad to say that the refund was made at my home this morning. Want to thank Airtel Customer Care for rendering their help and promptly acting upon this case after I placed my request on FB, email as well. I hope you will be able to resolve many cases further on these issues and probably this hassle of not repeating these concerns again.

                          Hey airtel you think me as mad, airtel is so much weast.For this same complaint which i gave you on 20th october and ref no.C3gsp[protected] for this same number you asked me 2days time until 22nd october and solved it on 23rd october at 12.00pm consequently my 3days validity gone weast and again on 25th i have the same problem continuing what are your development team doing cant correct a mistake properly and as a result i will lose my 6days...

                          I have applied (on 15-oct-2015) for fixed line broadband connection in Airtel Branch Office, Bhopal, M. P.

                          But still it is not installed, I have complained about it on customer care, but their senior executive (reference no- talk me vary badly and abused me.

                          I have complained about it, but Airtel didn't takes any action.

                            On 20.10.2015, airtel 3G recharge transaction of Rs.197/- has been made through your portal. But an amount of Rs.197/- has been deducted two times(2 x Rs.197 ) from my bank account.

                            The ref. numbers are VIN/ZAAK EPAYME/20151020/223453/0, and
                            VIN/ZAAK EPAYME/20151020/223727/0

                            Hence I request that the excess deduction of Rs.197/- may kindly be return to my bank account early .Action taken may be informed to my mail id in this regard.

                              I applied for Airtel Fixed Line service and Airtel sale executive (Surya) person came and collected the documents and Installation fee 1000 Rs on 24/09/2015 serial of CRF TNPC 371921 .On 25th created the login and allotted land line number. Back end Team responding there is no feasibility in my area so cannot give the connection.I have contacted for refund.First they have asked for bank details i have given the details after that i contacted again they told bank details are not correct do given eh required details again.i contacte on 12-Oct then they told as per thier record on 06-oct they have raised for refund through check and within 12 days will get the check.                               i have applied new bb connection on 8 October your person came and collected 1000 rs check and told me you will get new connection with in 2days, but still i didn't get connection. I sent a mail on 15 oct regarding this. later some person called me said pls give 2 days time we will solve this problem. but later on 21 oct from airtel i got call again the person said sir pls submit your document again so we will give connection on 22 oct by evening, i submitted document and 1000 rs check again so totally i paid 2000 rs by check. after that i dint get any response from airtel.

                              pls check attachment of acknowledgement slip.

                              I request you airtel, don't think only airtel is service provider for bb connection now lot of option is available for bb.

                                My mob no is[protected].I recharged it for rate cutter of Rs 16 whereby all calls should be charged @30 paisa per min on 21.10.2015.It worked for two days and now it is charging @ 2paisa per sec.I complained on 23.10.2015 (complaint no is CWRCH[protected]) at 17.30hrs.I was told that it would be resolved within 24 hours but later on I got the message that I would be updated by 27.10.2015.Now when the recharging dealer called after 24 hrs he was told that I have to wait till 14 hrs of 27.10.2015.When asked about the extra charges, which I am being charged, how it will be compensated their reply was DONOT KNOW.This offer of Rs16 was on my phone and the message again on 23.10.2015 gave a message Offer RS 16=local+std mobile [protected]@30 paisa per min for 28 days. You are requested to take up the issue with them so that small users are not put into difficulty for the mistake of the company.Thank you

                                  I applied for an airtel broadband connection with 1399/- in which they provide 16 MBPS of speed with 40GB data. But after the installation they told that they have activated for 4MBPS plan and will upgrade it to 16 MBPS in two days. It is been 2 weeks and they changed their word to provide 8MBPS after continuous calling to executives and customer care. Now they(airtel) are asking us to compromise for the 4MBPS speed and have to pay the same price. When I call the customer care, they continuously put on hold and make us to wait for long time.I paid 1000/- as installation charges. When i ask for cancellation, they are not ready to refund my installation fee and asking to pay how much i used as of now.

                                    My connection no is [protected] on 15 september 2015 4g wifi router had been installed at my home in pune. Since that date I am not getting proper 4g speed (which should be more than 10mbps). Since last 1 month almost weekely I have mailed one complaint to customer care and other related persons. But no action has been taken yet. I am fadeup of all this. Lastly I have to go to the consumer forum . This is my last request please look into the matter and take the action immediately.

I request you to please take the trouble of going through my mail/case history and understanding the problem created by Airtel before shooting out pointless mails. The payment detail you have might just be correct. I havent checked it from my side. The issue is that you have disconnected my service before my plan ended without any reason and voluntarily generated an advance bill for the period July-Dec 15, again without my consent and this was confirmed by your representative yesterday (20/10/2015). I have been constantly harrassed by Airtel for the past 10 days with incessant calling and messaging on my registered phone number. It is shameful to note that the people at Airtel are not even competent enough to understand and resolve a customers grievance. Or as evident from your attitude; Airtel seems to be least bothered about resolution. After this despicable display of lethargy and immorality from Airtel; my only option is to publicize this ordeal on various social media websites and publications so people can rightfully understand the real service parameters when it comes to Airtel. I have also approached some of the govt. consumer redressal forums and NGOs to highlight this issue so people know what kind o[censored]nderhand practices are standard procedure with Airtel. This is my final mail to you for a resolution of my complaints pending for more than 3 months. If not resolved in 24 hours, i will have no choice but to send you a legal notice and I will claim compensation for legal fees as well.
