25th sep - had made a wrong payment of inr. 76, 571/- instead of inr 765.71/-
25th sep - reported this to customer support
26/27th sep - got a call from support team that it will be resolved
28th sep - got an email with ref54067309 that this will be resolved in 3 days
Following up repeatedly, found out that the request was closed mentioning the refund was initiated on 4th oct
17/18th sep - got a call asking me my credit card statement to confirm that the refund has not happened
18th sep - sent the credit card statement which clearly shows the refund missing

Have been calling up almost every day since then and only get response such as we will resolve this in 24 hours and that has not happened so far - as on today, 26th oct
26th oct - someone from the customer support team emailed a receipt for the refund with:
Receipt number: 78978251
Transaction number: 621492|refund reversal|88335944
Payment date/time:[protected]:28:52.0
Payment from reversal - self care payment - citibank

Just sending this receipt will not close the transaction as the amount needs to be refunded to my account.

Hopefully the customer support team will look into this and do the needful at the earliest.

    We had applied for new connection since 2 weeks your executive had come to take the papers and documents and promised us connection in a weeks time it has been 2 week he is nt picking our phone and not giving us any answer.

    I dont know wht kind of service u provide i[censored] dont want to give connection why do u even send your person.

    I have 2 request from you please return all our documents back and please let me know how could i complain about this person so that he doesnt do this to anyone else.

    I personal think it is racket to get details information and documents of persons and use it to get fraud connection.
    Please look into the matter

        Hi team

        I wanted to change the airtel plan from post paid to pre paid, on 10th october 2017, i submitted the relevant documents with photo and i'd proofs.

        After 5 days on 15th october 2017, when i called customer care, i was infirmed airtel store at yelahanka new town store has not yet submitted the documents for activation. On the same day when i visited after waiting for 25 minutes, they informed me it will be activated in next 48 hour.
        I again i visited the store on 20 the october 2017, the staff of the store were rude, irresponsible, pathetic in their in answering my query. Since i used[protected] number for official and social purpose, now i am disconnected with my colleagues, family members.

        Need help in activating the sim for the number [protected].

          No combo packs are showing on my phone even thought it's 4g, previously it showed when i opted for the 499 pack which gave 2gb data per day for 84 days and unlimited calls. But only 28 day packs are showing here in my airtel app. Everyday i get messages from airtel about the 70 days pack and 84 days pack but those packs just doesn't show up in the browse packs section inside the special stv combo packs too. I am a prepaid user by the way.

            I've ported my number from airtel postpaid to airtel prepaid. And after activation, i tried to recharge it online but i was unable to do so.
            I called customer care many times and mailed them as well but my issue is not yet resolved. I can't port my number to other network as it needs 90 days to be in a particular network.

            I'm frustrated and want it to be resolved asap.

            I've ported my number from airtel postpaid to airtel prepaid (Andhra Pradesh circle). And after activation, i tried to recharge it online but i was unable to do so.
            I called customer care many times and mailed them as well but my issue is not yet resolved. I can't port my number to other network as it needs 90 days to be in a particular network.

            I'm frustrated and want it to be resolved asap. This was a big mistake to choose Airtel. The company tells that they are the Giant in telecommunication area but does not behave like it.

            Just because of this issue, I am not porting my other numbers to Airtel.

              I had recharged my number with 399 pack. which provide 70 days internet recharge..but i got only 30 days validity. m screwed up by your network. hope i will get my solution. i have been cheated.. nd its my right to get it done vefore hand. if nit i will surely take an action against your network in TRAI

                I have paid 4000 rupees in order to activate my international roaming. The service is so bad, I am not getting internet, no out going calls and stuff. This is totally crap. My money was wasted. It i slike cheating. 4000 rupees is not less money for one month offer.

                  I have a requested port for my number [protected] from telenor to airtel prepaid 4g more than 10 days back at local airtel office by paying 70 rupees. They said it will be activated in 4 days by providing a airtel 4g sim. Really i can't understand... Still how much time does it take for activation... I even didn't any message saying your number will be activated in so and so time/day. I didn't expect this type of worst customer service from airtel.

                    I wanted my sim to port in airtel, but since 2 days i went to a airtel store vijaynager bangalore, they asked me to wait, 3 hours i spend but they told me to come next day, sir they delibaretly postponing me because i wanted prepaid, but they force me to take postpaid. I don't want airtel and from now openly criticise airtel, they behave very rudely.

                      Dear sir,
                      Please look at the issue, before we migrate to another network, one of the airtel person called me on july-2017, and promised to solve the issue within 60 days, but nothing has been solved, please look out for the issue.

                      I posted the below complaint long back (June-2017)..

                            We have been trying to port out from airtel for their pathetic services for past 2 months. They are not allowing us to do so. First they said our payments are overdue. Now when we overpaid and made a positive balance they are not responding back. This not juts one incidence, we have been trying to do it for 4-5 numbers in my office, but alas they are doing the same thing to everyone. Provide pathetic service and not allow us to move out of their services.
                            Please help and let us know what needs to be done next.

                              I have been told if i port my number from reliance i will get benefits like unlimited calls, 20 gb data. For rs 299 but now they are bluntly saying kindly solve this issue. I have spoked to customer care, one of them told that after 3 days it will start. I waited for 3 days and than i called they say it is not possible. Please solve this issue urgently

                                I have placed my order by paying online on airtel site on 19th october 2017. My order is with welcome express delivery company... They r not giving me my package even when they made m visit their warehouse. They always have an excuse for not delivering my package. Both airtel and welcome express are third class when it comes to customer service. Even their customer service is not able to help. Airtel stop this fraud. Welcome express shut down ur company.

                                  I placed one order on your airtel app store (Online) on 19th october 2017. Since then i am facing lot of issues with airtel site & airtel customer care support. I have tried my best to resolve the matter with your customer care also... But it's very unfortunate that you have all kind of # holes there who are trained to harass their customers and keep on giving bloody excuses as they have no idea how to get the solution for any problem. I have paid my hard-earned money for iphone 7 plus... Not for any free/complimentary sim which your company is offering & due to that # sim i have been told by your delivery boy that he can't deliver my package bcoz your bloody app/software is not working & unable to complete this free no. (Sim) process in the end. I have done all kind of formalities with him.. Like showing him my addhhar card, fingerprint, current address proof, filling up all kind of information etc... But due to your software issue i have to suffer everytime. This is utterly nonsense of your system and customer support that your customer has to suffer everytime bcoz airtel don't have any solution for your quarry/problem. I am big time disappointed by airtel & will do my best to highlight this matter on every possible social site available online. Airtel is following unethical practice and this is not acceptable at all.

                                  For your reference i am sharing some information so you can cross check the authenticity of my matter.

                                    I’ve been using airtel 349 4g data pack for a long time now. I’m using iphone 7 plus handset. The moment i turn on the data and use for 30 minutes, the data deduction would be 700 mb out of 1 gb limit i have. Once i turn off the data and after some time if i turn on, and check the balance, it shows the limit is over without any usage. Kindly check and revert

                                      I got a message today that videopindw service has been activated @ rs 30.0 for 7day (S). Service will be renewed after validity expiry. To use, click http://bit.ly/actvnvp (Data charges apply). To deactivate, call or sms stop to 155223. More services? Call 56789
                                      I didn't even opt for this then why this has happened to me?
                                      I deactivated the service sent stop sms to deactivate. But it is sending a revert message that stop is an invalid entry???! I want to ask why do you activate any service without customer acceptance. I want my money back.

                                      This is actually a scam. I am at Singapore where Airtel is having tie-up with Singtel. I am having my Airtel number but have not opted for roaming and not using the service. But I got the message that videopindw has been activated @INR30/-. To disconnect Cal or SMS STOP to 155223. The moment I call or send SMS to stop the service, they will automatically activate the roaming service and that service is also automatically renewed. It is a cycle. They have already renewed VIDEOPINDW service 3 times. Please assist on what action can I take to expose the scam.

                                      This so called VIDEOPINDW service has been renewed on my two devices in which there is airtel service..
                                      Even I didn't activate the service..
                                      What is the use of this in JAVA Nokia X202 set.

It has been activate in my phone from oct 2017 and I just found out in nov 2018 when I saw my bill in detail when the customer care called me to pay my bill and I asked them for the month split up. That's when I realised they have charging this videopind for so long without me activating it. As of now 1500 has been charged for this. How do we ask them for payback ???

                                        I gave my samsung galaxy s7 edge phone to airtel and now airtel is not returning my phone my documents were submitted on 22 september and my claim was accepted on 26 september and my phone was taken on 3rd october and since then there is no clue of my phone. Airtel is not as it used to be. Airtel secure 21days promise is the biggest lie. #airtel secure fraud
