Dear Sir,
I have booked the ticket from Pune to Lucknow and Lucknow to Pune vide reference Number AT[protected] having PNR No WNRQQQ and XPW8GK. The total fare value is Rs.33656. Since the ticket wrongly booked, I have cancelled on the same day 25th Jan 2021 after discussion with Indigo and Akbar travels.
As informed to me by Indigo Airlines, the refund has been already done on 25th Jan 2021 to Ms Akbar travels. However despite my calling on their customer care, refund is not processed.
Kindly took the complain for resolution.

money received, However Rs 716 for travel insurance deducted. Please refund that too as I have to pay for Travel Insurance in other case too.
money has been received, However an amount of Rs 716 has been deducted which sems to be Travel Insurance. Once the Travel has not been done, this also to be refunded.

    I had booked an international flight from India to Bangkok and vice versa for the travel date of May 2020 however due to the pandemic the flights were cancelled. The ticket refund money was put as a credit shell by the Airline finally when i decided to use my credit shell in Jan 2021 I was told by Akbar travels that a full refund will be given by the airline. I agreed to it and my refund was processed on 13th of Jan 2021 for both of my tickets. The airline has confirmed that the full refund has been paid to Akbar travels but I haven’t received it till now. Akbar travels has been giving me vague excuses regarding my refund and is avoiding me now after 28 days of the refund being processed.

    They are ignoring my mails and are not giving me back my money.

    This is Hariharan and i booked ticket to and fro between amman and chennai on 7th april 2021 through akbar travels india lmited -AT[protected]. The onward and return dates were 6th may & 19th june. But due to travel ban, return flight dates were postponed & i informed to cancel and requested for refund to akbar travels on 3rd june. They confirmed by return mail and they told refund will be processed shortly. After continue mail follow ups, they told it may take 45 -90 days for refund. Airlines when contacted they told to follow with your travel agency. Here they keep on telling refund will be processed shortly but still now i have not received refund. The ticket price is almost 65000 rupees and in this tough situation, i can't able to book ticket again. I posted here with the final hope to get back my refund money. Its almost 2.5 months passed. I attached images of the conversation and tickets proof herewith for your kind action.

        Visa Refund Process

        I paid for Dubai Visa from Mumbai and after 4 days I was informed that can't apply as not eligible for Visa. Therefore, amount would be refund back in 7-8 working days. Since, 2nd January 2021 ai haven't received any response nor my refund amount. Pathetic service by Akbar Travels....

          I gave my marriage certificate on Jan 5 th in akbar travels.. today is Jan 26 ..I didn't get my certificate back...they said they need only 14 days for this attestation...now have 21 days...I have urgent for that...they didn't give tracking status also...they are telling lie ...and make us foolish ...so I need my certificate back...bcz I need to sent my certificate soon before 30 nth janvry...so they didn't give any action and help also... I trust the akbar travels...but ...

          I kindly request you to enquire my certificate status ...and take the action for telling lie services...

            Hi,
            My name is Ms Shahin Mansuri and I had booked an Economy class ticket of Air India flight which was at 13:30 of 24/03/2020 from London(LHR) Heathrow Terminal 2 towards Mumbai(BOM) by 04:00 on 25/03/2020. Refrence number of E-ticket is AT[protected]. I had paid 25870rs for that and due to Covid Lockdown on that time my flight was cancelled and i cant go to my Country. I had send complain many time to your Agency but no one responded. I request you kindly please look up to it bechase i had send many emails and messages they were saying i will get my refund back but still i had not recieved it kindly please help me and try to solve this issue.

              Hai,
              I am Sony Benny. I had applied for a visiting visa to Dubai through Akbar travels and unfortunately it has been rejected. The reason for rejection has been stated as and is unclear.
              So I asked for the copy of the filled form and I was provided with the first page of the document as a pdf copy. I have not yet received the remaining pages of the filled document. So I request you to provide the remaining pages of the filled form so that I can take necessary steps to get an approval from their end.

                I had a book of 29th March 2020, which got cancelled due to lockdown. Indigo airliens intimated me that they have transferred the refund back to the travel agency. The travel agency is not giving back the refund and it has been 4 months. They don't even reply and cut your calls abruptly without replying properly.
                REFERENCE number- AT[protected]. My refund. Is to be returned fully as i didn't cancel the ticket. This is the worst travel agency ever and have the Worst service ever. Would never eben download their app. Please help me get my refund of approx Rs. 13000 back.

                  This is with regards to my reservation with GoAir of PNR LYEMRT. The applicable refund of INR 2307 has been processed already by GoAir to Akbar travels, however, I am awaiting the refund from Akbar Travels to my account. It has been more than 15days I am awaiting the refund from Akbar Travels. kindly look into this matter on priority and get the refund initiated ASAP!

                    Dear Sir,

                    My 3 tickets were made from Akbar Travels in the month of March 2020 for a April journey. Due to Covid situation, the GoAir canceled all the flights. However, they did not provide the refund amount at that time. On 27-November-2020, I got emails from GoAir Refund Team that full refund has been provided to the travel agency. I wrote to Akbar Travels, called, and emailed Akbar Travel multiple times, n number of follow ups from 01-December-2020 but they have not helped me yet.

                    The reference numbers for all the three tickets are:
                    (1) AT[protected]
                    (2) AT[protected]
                    (3) AT[protected]

                    The full refund of all the above reference numbers was processed by the airline on 27-November-2020. When I called the airline, the airline support informed that the refund amount has been successfully passed to the travel agency and I have also got the emails from the GoAir Refund team that it has been passed on to the travel agents as confirmation. And, that the only option is I can get the refund amount from the travel agency only.

                    When I wrote to Akbar Travels about the refund, they confirmed that they got the refund amount from the GoAir airlines. Akbar Travels emailed me saying that they are facing technical difficulties to refund the amount online and asked for bank account details on 04-December-2020 for NEFT. I have provided all the bank details they asked for on the same day. They also acknowledged that they received the bank details and forwarded to the accounts department for processing the refund amount.

                    However, with so many emails and calls, I am deeply worried and concerned if the refund amount will come at all! No one in Akbar Travels read the contents of the emails. They reply to whatever email we send in one single line:
                    "We have forwarded to concerned department and once processed will refund asap."

                    I am sharing the last email content sent to Akbar Travels [protected]@akbartravels.com and [protected]@akbartravels.com:
                    "Dear Team,

                    I am writing to you hoping that the customer relations team will be able to take this request on High Priority and help me. Please read this email about the concern. I am very much worried and concerned about the refund amount.

                    I have been following up from 01-December-2020 for refund for the following references:
                    AT[protected]
                    AT[protected]
                    AT[protected]

                    First, I had sent the email on 01-December-2020 saying that we got call from GoAir airline that we need to collect the refund amount from the travel agent. I got the confirmation email from Akbar Travels that you have received the full refund from GoAir. However, you said that because of technical issues, online refund is not possible. You asked for bank account details and we provided them. You acknowledged that email too. After multiple emails and follow up calls, I got an email on 14-December-2020 that the refund amount will be credited in 2-3 working days. However, yet to get the refund amount as of today! For all the emails that I sent after 14-December-2020, since no one replied, kept sending the reminder emails. Finally, got one email with the text as follows:
                    As per below mail kindly note we forwarded request to our concern department, once revert processed we will revert on same mail asap.

                    After getting the same emails, I had called customer care on 23-December-2020 at 8 PM and explained all the details. I was informed that this email has been forwarded to Seniors as an ESCALATION and I will get a response email or call within 2-4 hours. The person also told me that instead of sending the same email response, the Seniors or Managers will check with accounts department and reply the correct status as to when refund amount will be credited. However, I have not got any response email yet until this time from anyone at all! I waited for so long and called the customer care now. They are saying that the refund team is not available, Seniors are not available, and they are asking me to call back tomorrow after 10 AM.

                    I have emailed too many times. I have called customer care too many times. This kind of email conversation and telephone calls are going in loops for a long time!

                    What else I need to do now?
                    Who can help me?
                    Who can responsibly take this up about when I can get the refund?
                    Who will not reply as "we will get back to you once it is processed" email again and again instead of providing the correct status or providing the refund amount?
                    How many more days I have to keep sending emails requesting for refund when you already confirmed about refund will be credited in 2-3 working days on 14-December-2020?

                    Please consider this email as the REQUEST CUM ESCALATION EMAIL and provide the correct status and the refund amount ASAP and help us. If the accounts department are not responding, please provide the accounts department email ID so that I can follow up with them. Or please arrange for a call back from Seniors or Managers ASAP.

                    Thanks again for your understanding and help."

                    Reply to the above email was also same:
                    "Dear Sir / Madam,

                    Greetings from Akbar Travels.Com!!!

                    Thank you for booking your tickets through Akbartravels.com.

                    AT[protected]

                    Apologies for delay refund!!!

                    As per below mail kindly note bank details already forward to our accounts department. We forwarded refund asap.

                    Looking forward to give us an opportunity to be of service to you.

                    For any further details please contact us on our 24/7 toll free number."

                    Even when I am asking for managers or call back, no one calls me, no one from seniors responds!

                    I am deeply worried and concerned if the refund amount will come at all!

                    Sir, I kindly, humbly, and please request you to help me get my money in this difficult times, and I will be really grateful to you.

                      Flight Refund of AT[protected].

                      It has been more than 6 months (11th july 2020) since they say that refund was initiated from their End. And they are not refunding the amount to me.
                      I also had a word with the airlines they said all the pending refunds have been refunded to the agents from march to August 2020. It has been more than 20 to 30 Mail follow ups from my end to them still getting the same reply.

                          Flight got cancelled and the operator confirmed refunding the full amount to Akbar travels, through which I had booked my flight tickets. Despite several follow up thrs one revert staying we are checking on your refund status from Akbar. No call centre number is answered.

                            Hi All,

                            So here's the deal:I inquired about medical + travel + Visa for UAE on 22nd Nov, while sharing all documents(tickets, Pancard, photo etc) with my sister's travel dates (3rd Dec 20 to 3rd Jan 21) with Ankita Mhatre where she shared plans On 25th Nov I made payment asking her when can I expect Visa given that she has the tickets and all other documents, to which she says the visa is processed.On 26th I inquired again and she says I'll get the visa before 6th Dec since the embassy is on leave. Now here's the deal - UAE embassy holidays (27th onwards) is nowhere in the news for me to have known so it's the travel consultant's duty to advice me on either going with express visa or not applying for it and refunding my money since she knows my travel date is 3rd December and also knows that the normal visa won't arrive in a day. Or atleast, this is what I believe the job description of a travel consultant is. She however processes it in the system because of which I'm unable to apply it from another agency (Arabiers) who confirmed to me that 29th and 30th are working days for the embassy and if I pay them the fee on 26th they will deliver it by 1st December. From the duration of 12 noon (GST) to 7pm she doesn't reply to any texts or emails and I have to reach her via the customer service numbers to which she again doesn't give me any definite answer. In the pandemic with so much uncertainty all industries are working super hard to make sure everything is running smoothly - but it looks like Akbar travels doesn't respect their job nor value anybody's time and has caused me huge financial loss.Now here's the extent of my loss/ options I have:My flight ticket which costs Inr 40, 000 which is non-refundable. My sister also booked a hotel for quarantine from 3rd Jan for 14 days which is already paid for (INR 35, 000).Now since she has a US Visa, she can enter the UAE and pay 100 AED for 14 days and then extend it for another 14 days paying 270AED. But her travel dates are 30 days so she will have to pay a fine of 200AED for day 1 and 100AED for day 2. Hence the total Visa cost here comes upto 670AED (100+270+200+100). And also I'll have to pay another 120AED for insurance - that's 770AED. The least I'm asking is the Visa+medical refund (attached receipt)

                                  I visited akbar travels branch in[protected] dubai (burdubai) for booking ok to board in Indigo.
                                  Only one customer was there In office I’m the second customer.I waited more than half n hour and finally they there is no change for 100DHS ...ok to board only 20DHs we don’t have change.And also there are saying need printout copy I have to bring to book ok to board.I never seen any office before like thz.
                                  Pls check and advice them to treat the customers well.

                                    I had booked 3 international return flight tickets for my family for 132000 inr with akbar travels. Due to lockdown those flights got cancelled. I asked akbartravels to refund the amount. Initially they denied full refund and blamed the flight company for not giving full refund. But when i emailed the air company they told me that they have already refunded 100% amount.
                                    I conveyed this to akbar travels they told me that they will refund but it will take 45 to 90 working days. Sir this whole conversation started in beginning of may 2020. I tried to contact them several times on telephone they hang my call and on email they reply by status pending. Now in september i still not received my amount kindly help me in this matter. My reference no for akbar travels tickets is at[protected].

                                      I have already complained against this shameless fraudulent company. First they purposely delayed initiating my refund request with the Airlines as documented in my earlier complaint here: https://www.consumercomplaints.in/akbar-travels-flight-refund-illegally-held-bac...
                                      Now, after the airlines credited the money to Akbar travels, they are not refunding the money back to me. They are engaging in fraudulent behaviour and not even replying to my emails. I have called the customer support people hundred times now, they say they will escalate it to senior accounts team, but after saying this 100 times they are not responding to me. Cheats holding back my money. Akbar Travels has to refund my money immediately or face legal action.
