Dear sir/madam,
Last month 18/02/2019 we had taken visa service from akbar travels bangalore and amount for rs.14400 was charged to us to which we made payment by our credit card when we requested for gst invoice under our company we were told that it will be given after 10 days. Its almost been more than a month we have not to receive a tax invoice from mr. Chandru and whenever we give call some or the other excuse is been given.

    Dear customer care desk,
    I have booked my ticket from akbar travel portal with reference number "at[protected]" from nairobi to delhi and return. While putting the passenger name at akbar travel portal title is mandatory (Mr.) and then given name and surname/family name. While i got the ticket the name is showing "mr. Samir kumar pandey" which is fine.
    However, while checked the ticket status at ethihad site the name shows as "pandey/samirkumarmr",. When connected to yiur executive over call and mail they are saying it is as per given name. Whereas how the tital can be mixed with given name i am not getting the satisfactory response. I am afraid, it may create chaos during travel.

    Coordinated with passenger and explained to passenger that it is system format where title get attached with the given name. Told to passenger that there will be not problem at the airport as far as name is as per the passport.

    It is impossible to answer without seeing the text of the pnr / e-ticket.

    The common rule in civil aviation: the full name (name and surname) must match passport .

    As regard to gender / title / child, a passenger is entitled to claim reissue from the travel agent, if he or she can reffer to the exact private law (of India, of Kenya, o[censored]AE), governing incorrect processing of title / gender .

      Dear Team,

      I had given my marriage certificate and my daughter's birth certificate for Indian foreign affairs and UAE Embassy attestation to one your braches located in Kuttiadi, Kozhikode district of Kerala. When I received the certificates back, it was fully wrinkled. I am staying in UAE. It was my parents who collected the certificates from your branch. When I asked your staff to send me a scanned copy through email, your staff send me and when I checked that I found that the certificates were not handled properly. I questioned is this the way you handle the certificates through email, he replied me back it is because of my stupidity I am asking these question. He has been working here since 8 years, he says even he has handled the MBBS Certificates also in the same way. When I called him to ask is this the way you reply to a customer, he says even if you complaint about this he dont care. Your staff name is Mr. Muhammed Swalih. I would like to inform you Just because of few staffs like this your company reputation is going down. I have given several certificates for attestation to this branch and booked flight tickets many times. From now onwards I will not give any of my certificates or ticket bookings to your branches. I am also attaching the email chats we have done below for your perusal.

          Dear sir/madam,

          This is my pleasure to inform you about my issues. I purchased three air ticket in akbar travel on[protected]. The cost is 198.824 kwd. After that i canceled only one ticket due to some name mistake in air ticket. Than i contact to akbar travel they told your ticket is canceled. Your refund amount will credit in your account with in 15 working days. But refund amount is not yet credit in my account. They told[protected] amount is transferred to your account. Unfortunately the refund amount 27.00 kwd is not credit in my account.

          This is the akbar travel sent message to me through e-mail (In below)

          Dear sir/madam,

          Greeting from akbartravels.com

          Kindly inform you that, the refund process is already done from our end on 17-jan-18 and the amount deducted from our account against your refund.

          As per the bank information refund is done with rrn number[protected], usually when create rrn number, it does mean the refund is credited in customer account.

          Request you kindly contact your bank again with the rrn number and we are also following the case with our bank. We will get back you soon once got update from bank.

            Hi

            I am told by my travel agent (Nuhuman) that my saudi visa has got rejected twice by the saudi embassy due to minor name difference in the sponsor's passport. I have provided the affidavit for the same, yet the agent says it is not sufficient. I was also told that i will need to pay rs 6000 as mofa fees incurred for the processing of the visa application inspite of getting rejected. This is an extremetly poor customer support for

            1) for the fact that i was never informed that it will get rejected and i need to incur charges inspite of my visa not being stamped.
            2) there is absolute no proof provided whatsoever for the fact that my visa stamping has been rejected twice except providing mofa numbers.

            I will like you to introspect and provide me the best possible solution. I have used akbar travels couple of times before when i travelled to singapore and saudi arabia and that is one of the major reasons as to why i choose akbar travels inspite of my parents being in andhra pradesh. I wish not to lose this trust and hoping to have a amicable solution to this issue.

            Please find attached copy of my parents visa copy and the current status of visa that i see as of 11th feb which does not mention about visa being cancelled or rejected. I have also attached copy of my payment receipt and the travel agent person.

              We are residing in new zealand, as we are not able to travel my mother who is residing in trivandrum has to bring my kids8yr and 2 yr back to nz who went to india for their holidays. They travelled to nz last week in emirates. It was very distressing and frustrating experience for my mother. First of all we arranged the wheel chair assistance for my mother which is not even asked or dint get through out the journey, she has to carry all luggage and kids by herself.in between the transit in dubai she found entirely left alone,, as because difficulty in english she struggled hard to find the right gates as well. Usually every time when she comes, wheelchair assistance was delivered appropriately. Second concern is for an infant she dint get the seat, so she was holding the 2 yr old through out journey as you know dubai to akl is nearly 18 hrs travel.. We always travel with kids mostly and usually our agency or we call directly to ensure there is a seat for a baby, as we know it’s hard to get on the same day when we r departing, or we will only book tickets on dates and confirm when the seat available for baby.. So we are well aware of airlines and their rules. My first question is why mother is not informed about these things and why you are not able to get the seat for the baby before flying. What happened to wheel chair assistance, my mother’s ticket has been changed twice, so i want proof of wheelchair assistance, which is attached to reference no of ticket. My mother is 56 yrs old and diabetic she could not eat or drink as bacause of the kid on the lap,, we received here dizzy and was she nearly falling off and we took her to hospital and she just back to home today.. We flyed mostly all major airlines,,, as an agency it’s your responsibility to provide better service and get proper customer satisfaction,, akbar travels really failed in this. When i questioned the person who has responsible said that” i am having lunch now “and call me later..

              I am one of the member of the above mentioned family and this was most awful booking we have ever done . The positiveness and fake customer service provided was a huge trap and I will not recommend this travels to anyone.

              More over the agent who booked us did not attach the separate tickets so as my mother and niece/Nephews could seats together.Instead the Emirates authorities had to take care of this while in the transit and this was an havoc and nearly missed the connecting flight to Auckland. The agent did not assign or block the seats and instead did not even bother informing the travelers regarding this.

                On 7th dec 2018, for procuring dubai visa for me and family, i initiated a debit card transfer of 30000 rs to akbar travels. They confirmed they didn't receive the money. My bank (Icici) told me that money has gone from their end and they asked me to raise a service request to confirm whether they received money or not and to get a refund. They also told me the estimated time for such a confirmation would be 35 days. Of course i could not wait for 35 days as my travel was coming up in about 10 days. So i procured a confirmation mail from akbar travels stating that they would refund my money in case they receive same. On this confirmation and owing to urgent need i transferred another 30000 to akbar travels. They confirmed receipt of same immediately and i got my visa in 5 days.

                I did not get any further updates from my bank till 22nd of january, where upon they informed me that my claim was declined by the merchant. So i contacted akbar travels again to ask them to refund my money. After several miscommunications they finally confirmed back to me stating that they have initiated a refund to me and shared me a screenshot of same. And that i should wait for 5-7 working days for it to get credited.

                I again waited for 5 working days and checked back with them when i did not receive my money. They merely insisted again that they have initiated refund and i should check with my bank. My bank in turn told me they can’t do anything if the money has not come to my account and only akbar travels can confirm this. I checked with them again and akbar travels asked me for my bank statement to prove that i have indeed not received the money back from them. I send this to akbar travels and they reverted saying that from my account i have transferred 30000 to them and i have got visa in return for that. For any other queries contact my bank.
                So
                1. If visa was for the money (30000) transferred from my account then, what did i get for the money (30000) transferred from my husband credit card?
                2. Why did you initiate a charge back to my account and send me screenshot of same as success if you did not owe me any money?

                Please note that this issue got resolved only yesterday. They finally confirmed to me that the money was stuck at their payment gateway PayU owing to their own negligence, where by they did not give a timely response to the payment gateway, when the gateway enquired them on the charge back claimed.

                Finally they agreed that they would get back the money from PayU and do an NEFT transfer on the money from their bank to my bank.

                Remember that we finally got to this commitment on 5th February 2019, ie 2 months after I transferred them the money on 7th Dec 2018.This happened after I had to chase them with innumerable phone calls, intervention from my bank people and about 100 back and forth emails and messages

                They collected my account details from me for the NEFT transaction on 10th Feb and confirmed to me on 11th Feb that they got the money from PayU and have already initiated my refund. But they asked me to wait again for six days.

                For any bank, adding a beneficiary for NEFT transaction takes 12-24 hrs and a transfer itself will get credited within 4 hrs of initiation. So in view of the unwarranted requirement to wait for another 6 days and all the false promises I had to take from them previously, I asked them for a screenshot of the transaction they initiated. They wouldn't respond to that as well. On calling they just keep on asking me to wait.And finally replied as per company policy they would not share the screenshot.

                I finally got the refund yesterday ie 72 days after I transferred it to them. The amount of pain I had to take for this had been tremendous

                My experience with the company is that they do not have any value for their customers time and money. They follow you relentlessly till they get their money. After that everything is the customers responsibility.

                  I don’t know why the travel is asking for noc documents from parents to apply singapore visa if the person is woman.in any of the singapore officials site, i haven’t seen such documents to be submit for a office going woman. Customer service is very poor. The person who is coordinate with us to submit the singapore visa was very rude. Very very poor travel i say.

                    It has been a very bad experience for me booking tickets i will never book ticket and warn others too

                    - when and where the events had happened
                    - no full e-ticket attached, so no conditions of transportation, sellng, change of air transportation are seen
                    - it is not clear what e-mail / phone number have you used by author
                    - it is not clear what was the claim / request of the author of the complaint,

                    Within such circumstances the author can hire lawyer, whom the author needs to explain the above documents, to pay and the lawyer or the legal professina for civil aviation matters can advise the outcome and future step for compensation, if it can be done based on the all received documents.

                      The comment i am posting is of the trichy road, coimbatore of akbar travels.
                      For my visa, ticketing needs usually i approach them, a regular customer.
                      This time my need was simple, police clearance certificate from passport seva kendra. On the nov.19th at around 3.45 pm, i was talking to a staff over telephone requesting his assistance for online submission of pcc applications for two persons. While asking for service charge for the above, to my astonishment he said apart from the fee of rs.500/ to be remitted online while submitting the pcc application their service charge is rs.1000/ per applicant. Still i mentioned i need to submit two pcc applications and the reply was ÿes, total you will have to pay for two applicants rs.1000 + rs. 1000/ = rs. 2000/ service charges plus the pcc fee of rs.500/ + rs. 500/, that is total rs. 3000/ for two pcc applications filed online. I asked "is it so that your service charge is the double of passport seva kendra's pcc fee"? The staff affirmed "yes". My feeling was i am getting duped and with the assistance of the coimbatore passport seva kendra help desk (My telephone inquiry was so efficiently responded by a good mannered staff of the psk my honest appreciations to her). So very simple was the online process and i made it myself, paid the fee stipulated and booked an appointment for the very next day on line. The matter was so simple.. I got two pccs with no one's extortion..!
                      Now, its for the general public taking assistance of travel agencies to rethink (Especially senior citizens who are generally reluctant to do such things online).
                      Also, its for the akbar travels to rethink of their unethical staff's negative approach to the customers, forcing them away and creating such a bad image for the company employing them.

                        Dear team,

                        My name is simit bagwe, and i recently took a singapore side scene package from your company. Your company had advertised certain offerings that were part of the package and it was also confirmed over below email. But to my surprise, when we actually took the trip, these services/benefits were not extended to us.

                        This is a clear case of cheating where on one hand you make tall claims but on ground you fail to offer those services. Further, in an international country this has caused me and my family extreme issues where the services offered were not up to mark. Following is the list of services that were claimed to be part of the package but not offered to us on ground.



                        This non reliability of services or else i will have to take this matter with consumer court and file a complaint against your company. Further, i will also plan to post it on social media so that no other customers are cheated due to malpractices that your firms employ.

                          I had booked 4 airtickets on goair flight from jaipur to mumbai on 29th august 2018. However, i received an sms from the airline on 27th oct 2018 that the flight was cancelled & they would process the full refund within 48 hrs.

                          Since the tickets were booked through akbar, they asked me to follow up with akbar. I have been following up with them since 31st oct 2018 till date.

                          Initially they said there was some technical issue because of which they could not process the refund to my card account and asked me to share my bank details which i did immediately. After this, they said they needed the chq image. As i was travelling, i could not submit it as i was not carrying my chq book. Instead i shared the details of my wife's account on 13th nov 2018 along with the chq image. Since then, i have been following up with akbar till date. Meanwhile, just to validate, i confirmed from the airline that they had processed the full refund on 2nd nov 2018 itself.

                          Now again they are saying there is some technical issue & they have processed my refund by chq on 16th nov 2018. If this is so, then the refund should have been credited to my account by now as today is the 3rd day. Chq gets cleared on 2nd day evening. This proves that akbar travels is lying and cheating.

                          The above events very clearly show the lethargic, incompetent and fraudulent approach of akbar travels. They are just using the customer money and refunding in their own sweet time despite receiving the money from airlines.
                          Beware of such cheaters and fraudsters!!

                            Akbar travels had taken full payment to process my singapore visa. They failed to pick-up my documents and conveniently forgot to contact us. They kept pushing it to the next day and finally denied service. Its been 3 days i have mailed them for refund, there is yet no firm confirmation.
                            I had to bear ticket cancellation loss and i lost my sanctioned leaves.

                              I am an indian student who has been studying and living in vancouver for over 2 years. I was supposed to board the hong kong airlines from vancouver to mumbai via toronto on september 01, 2018 to visit my family.
                              I had web checked in to the airlines but during the check in at the airport, the airlines refused to give me a boarding pass on the basis of my missing middle name on the ticket issued to me by the travel agent.
                              The travel agency tried to pass a remark online to add my middle name, the airlines insisted on buying a new ticket with my entire name matching the name on my passport.
                              I was being harassed for over 3 hours and in spite of my repeated requests to solve the issue, the person at the counter of hong kong airlines was not even ready to listen and not interested to solve the problem, they were interested in me buying a fresh ticket as the flight had full occupancy and wanted to earn money by selling the ticket at an exorbitant price.
                              Akbar travel has not mentioned to include middle names or match the name on the passport when booking flight tickets. Due to this negligence by travel agency, i had to miss my flight and given a refund on the basis of "no show".
                              This is unjust and unfair treatment by hong kong airlines due to akbar travels. The travel agency should give me a full refund due to their negligence and lack of knowledge in international travel.

                                I have submitted three passport for singapore visa on 31st august through pick / drop service.

                                Paid rs. 8000/- against ref no.[protected]

                                It was confirmed that visa is granted on 6th sep and my passports were supposed to be delivered through dtdc courier ref no. V47447186.

                                Status shows delivered on 7th sep however i have not received package now dtdc or your rep's have no clue.

                                I need my passport before friday for my flight else i will file all expense of my booking for refund to you guys.

                                  I booked a flight (Ref : lh4b8a) 46 days in advance and paid rs 6700/-. As i had to change the date, was asked to pay rs 7300/- to reissue the ticket. This is atrocious that 100% cancellation fee is charged by akbar travels 40 days prior to travelling. Which agency does this and no airlines also do this. I can't be at the receiving end due to the whims and fancies of the agency. There was no terms and conditions mentioned while booking the ticket online that there will be 100% cancellation charges on change of date. Therefore, this is malpractice being followed by the agency. Will fight to the end and get justice.

                                  I booked online ticket 45 days through Akbar Travels in advance and paid Rs 6700/-. When I wanted to reschedule the ticket Akbar Travels asked me to pay Rs 7300/- for a new ticket which was atrocious. This means they pocket Rs 6700 which I had paid earlier and want me to pay further Rs 7300 which is a mal practice and example of cheating and looting customers. As they couldn't provide me the ticket with the new dates, I requested to cancel the ticket 36 days prior to the departure date for which they charged me Rs 6200/- All those who read this feedback, please think at least 20 times before you book any ticket through Akbar Travels. Govt. of India must know this and stringent action should be taken on agencies who cheat customers beyond the rule book and at their whims and fancies

                                    We had booked holiday with akbar travels for spain but due to some reason are visa did not approved and our holiday is cancelled we had already paid rs 100000 to ms bhavya jain who is our booking agent she is now not refunding our money and telling that tickets are non refundable and is not booked by me but mr prem. They are not responding to our calls and mails. This is the worst travel company ever and thier services are worst too.

                                        Paid rs 146804 to www.akbartravels.com for 3 booking air tickets from delhi to sydney for my family. After acknowledging payment, one lady staff member informed that tickets will be sent within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes tickets did not come. Repeated attempts to contact akbartravels yielded no tickets. After spending 2 stressful days i reported on facebook page of the company and still they were mot efficient as private sector is supposed to be and they sent the ticket only today morning. The pnr mentioned doe snot open on the site of the airlines concerned. After 3 stressful days, someone calls from company to inform primarily that it is my fault and they cant do anything except say sorry. I am suspecting these tickets are fake as the airline message is that pnr is wrong
                                        Seeking financial damages from the company.

                                        With regards to your complaint regarding the PNR R5FZ4Z not being reterived by the airline, please note we have checked and the PNR was confirmed by the airline as well.

                                        Rs 146000 on stake and akbartravels takes about 3 days. what about the stress during 3 days? If same thing was done in another company may be the company would have been forced to shell out big money on compensation

                                        Now the same flight has created additional problem by misplacing six bags of whole family in above mentioned ticket. They are un willing to give correct picture. Akbar travel is also blissfully out of picture!
